Your Sikhs today: Canucks order one (1) (only) criminal Singh deported

Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board (comprised of card-carrying Liberals in need of work) finally said the quiet part out loud on Friday, admitting that extortion gangs who prey on "south Asians", rely on Indians, mostly Sikhs, living in Canada on "temporary" student and work visas.

The totally unsurprising admission came in an explanation for an order of deportation Jashandeep Singh (not exactly as pictured), described as a "bottom-tier" associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Edmonton.

While the top leaders of the Bishnoi gang were charged with racketeering this week, this Jashandeep Singh -- not to be confused with the dozens of "Jashandeep Singhs" whose pictures may be found on the Internet -- is among the lower-level suspects authorities have opted [not "been pressured"? Ed.] to expel from Canuckistan.

Like many in the Bishnoi gang, Mr Singh came to Canada on a student visa. He said his parents borrowed money to send him to an Edmonton college in 2022 so he could have a brighter future. But he acknowledged he "made a mistake" by joining the gang, where he became a "soldier", subordinate to a mid-level member named Arshdeep Singh.

At his immigration hearing, a police officer testified that Mr Singh was caught on video holding a gun that was used in an extortion shooting in Surrey BC on 19 May 2025. In the footage, Mr Singh aimed the handgun at the head of another Singh man.

According to police, he was present when the same weapon was fired in Edmonton a few hours later. He later hid the gun so police would not find it. However, a different firearm was later found during a police search of the home he shared with roommates.

Testifying in his defence (with the help of a Punjabi interpreter, of course), Mr Singh denied being a gang member and denied hiding any guns. He said the videos were filmed at Arshdeep Singh's birthday celebration. He said Arsedeep was a friend and they had met at school. He claimed he was intoxicated at the time the videos were recorded, after consuming marijuana gummies, and was only joking around when he picked up Arshdeep’s gun and held it to someone’s head.

However, the IRB said in its decision that Mr Singh was not a credible witness and his statements to investigators contained "numerous inconsistencies." So the deportation order was made. Whether it will actually be carried out is a different question. Walt predicts Jashandeep Singh will still be in Canada a year from now. Lifetime pct .987.

Further reading: "House arrest for temporary resident guilty of sexual assault", Prince George (BC) Citizen, 9/7/26. Karandeep Singh came to Canada from India on a "temporary" visa in 2023 and works as a security guard. He pled guilty to sexual assault and got 170 days house arrest, followed by 18 months probation. Whether or not he will be deported after that... see previous paragraph.

Your Sikhs today: Divorce Sikh style

This is NOT our typical "Your Sikhs today" story involving drug smuggling, Diversity Truck Lines and the Singh School of Truck Driving. Rather it is a sad tale of a Sikh couple, Jagpreet Singh (51) and Balwinder Kaur (41)...

...whose marriage ended just six days after Mr Singh landed in Canada, sponsored by Ms Kaur. We should say the late Ms Kaur, as Mr Singh has now been found guilty by a British Columbia court of murdering her. Here's what happened.

Mr Singh and Mr Kaur were married for over 20 years. They were the parents of two children who grew up in India with their parents. Their daughter moved to Canada as one of the 1000s of "temporary foreign students" welcomed by the Liberal government of former PM Blackie McBlackface. In a typical case of chain migration, Ms Kaur came to Canada in 2022 to "assist" [babysit? Ed.] her daughter.

Mr Singh arrived in mid-March of 2024. He had been in Canuckistan only six days when, on the fateful night, the couple went out to a gurdwara (temple) and later a mall. They returned around 2130, and within the hour Ms Kaur was stabbed. A neighbour arrived at their basement apartment in Abbotsford BC shortly thereafter and saw Ms Kaur motionless in a pool of blood, inside the doorway.

In her judgment, Madame Justice Andrea Ormiston of the BC Supreme Court wrote, "When police entered the home, Mr Singh was a few metres away from her, either seated or kneeling on or near the sofa in the living room." He was arrested immediately, at which time he "had a bump and a minor cut to his forehead that he agreed were caused in the course of his arrest. He also had a small abrasion, or a superficial cut to his left shoulder. Mr. Singh showed no signs of impairment or intoxication, nor was any such thing asserted by him in his evidence."

The police found two bloodied knives in the basement suite, which appeared to be kitchen cutlery, not the kirpan (small dagger) that all Sikh men wear at all time. Expert evidence, wrote the udge "confirms...that there were significant bloodletting events in this basement suite, and a trail of blood between the bathroom and the living room that indicates the source of blood was moving through various spaces in the suite."

In his statement to police, Mr Singh said an argument arose when Ms Kaur told him to get a job. In court, he testified that the conflict began when he "proposed sexual intimacy" (he did not say the actual words used) and was rebuffed by Ms Kaur.

Mr Singh said the dispute continued with him telling her to stay home from work so they could spend time together, but she refused. Judge Ormiston noted that evidence was presented in court that Ms Kaur had made statements indicating she was "afraid of Mr. Singh arriving and that she did not want him to come to Canada."

In court, Mr Singh admitted that the couple had a verbal conflict that turned physical. Wrote the judge, "Mr. Singh says he punched Ms. Kaur in the face.... When she left the room for the kitchen, he says he followed her to apologize and that he had calmed down, but she then brandished a knife." Mr Singh claimed he disarmed his wife and put the knife back in the drawer, but alleged that she continued to swear at him and took a knife out of the drawer a second time.

He testified that when he made a second attempt to disarm her, "the knife made contact with his shoulder and he became angry. He Singh says he accidentally poked her with the knife in her stomach."

Mr Singh maintained that he had no memory of Kaur receiving fatal injuries, but an autopsy showed that his wife died of significant blood loss caused by seven stab wounds to her neck and chest. Judge Ormiston also noted that Mr Singh mentioned nothing about his wife brandishing a knife when he spoke to the police. Instead, he told them he didn’t know what happened after the argument.

Defence counsel urged the court to find that the accused blacked out with rage during the altercation, so that a conviction for manslaughter rather than murder would be just. The trial evidence focused on the issue of intent, specifically whether the Crown proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr Singh had the intent required to be convicted of murder.

Two witnesses testified that Mr Singh told them he had killed Ms Kaur, one testifying that he said, "I finished her off because she was deceiving me."

Judge Ormiston found Mr Singh's testimony "untrustworthy and unreliable [and] incapable of raising any reasonable doubt about murderous intent, about Ms Kaur provoking Mr Singh in the way he described, or about such provocation causing him to suddenly experience an overwhelming loss of control that is legally excusable." As well, on the issue of memory loss, the judge wrote that "there is no basis to find that Mr. Singh perpetrated an unremembered attack on Ms. Kaur."

The case of R v Singh will be back on the court docket on October 19th, by which time a psychiatric assessment is supposed to be completed, and presented as part of a sentencing hearing. Defence counsel is expected to suggest a sentence of less than six months, so that the wife-murdering Mr Singh will not be at risk of deportation.

The "cultural misunderstanding" defence employed again

This is further to "You don't understand! It's part of our culture!", WWW 15/4/26. In that case an Afghan "refugee" was found abusing a sheep in a sexual way -- don't make me spell this out for you -- and convicted of bestiality, in spite of his plea that he was just acting within the norms of his culture.

Closer to  home, Ontario meeja have (for a change) named and shamed a 37-year-old man from... wait for it... Brampton ON, who was found guilty of abducting a child almost three years ago in Thessalon, a town in northern Ontario.

A boy was fishing by himself at a river when pedophile approached, saying he was a real estate agent looking for property in the area. He lured the boy into his car using promises of ice cream and a fidget spinner -- "Hey kid, wanna learn how to spin your fidget?" -- which the Crown argued was grooming. The child was not physically harmed in the case and was rescued by his father, who contacted police

Manoj Govindbalunikam (for it was he) will spend 18 month (or less) in a provincial prison, after being convicted at the Sault Ste Marie courthouse on April 21st. In passing sentence Judge Michael Varpio said he wanted to send a clear message of "denunciation and deterrence" to both the perpetrator and society as a whole.

The defence for the former Brampton Realtor had argued previously that the situation was a "cultural misunderstanding", adding that an extended sentence could negatively impact Govindbalunikam’s ability to stay in Canada.

Judge Varpio rejected both arguments, saying that the accused has been in Canada for 12 years and is educated enough to know Canadian cultural norms. The judge said that Mr Govindbalunikam's risk of deportation was not a factor in his decision. He took judicial notice of the fact that less than 3% of deportation orders are ever carried out.

However, the judge said he was not presented with any evidence suggesting there was a sexual intent as part of the abduction. In addition to the 18-month prison sentence, the convicted pedophile will be on probation for three years following his release.

He also has a non-contact order with the victim, a DNA order, a weapons prohibition and must undertake counselling. Whether the immigratin police will be waiting at the prison gates when Mr Govindbalunikam is released remains to be seen. Don't bother staying tuned.

VIDEO: Your Singhs today (Surrey BC edition)

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has apparently become aware that it's getting a bad rep [a "woke" rep too! Ed.] for not deporting the 1000s of illegal immigrants convicted of crimes in Canada. A disproportionate number of these are gentlemen of the Sikh faith, who have for years been involved with cross-border drug smuggling via Diversity Transport.

More recently, dozens of the turban-winders have been implicated, some being charged and (remarkably convicted), in extortion, arson and even murder of Sikhs and other south Asians, notably in Brampton ON and Surrey BC.

Theoretically, anyone who is not a Canadian citizen who is convicted of a crime carrying a sentence of more than six months, may be ordered deport. "Permanent residents" are not exempt, and in severe cases even a naturalized citizen can be ordered to go back to India or Pakistan or wherever he came from.

Indeed many deportation orders have been issued. But (Walt hears you ask) how many have actually been enforced. Well, on Wednesday the CBSA went public with an update on its crackdown and response to extortion-related shootings. Here's the report, complete with pictures of two Singh's who have actually been sent home from Canuckistan, from Global TV News.

To put in print what's in the video, CBSA said it has been monitoring immigration cases that have been potentially linked to extortion cases since August. As of 12 March, it has opened 372 immigration investigations, issued 70 removal orders and removed 35 people from Canada.

In the Pacific region, the CBSA says it has issued 34 removal orders and removed 25 people. The agency highlighted the recent deportations of two people, Arshdeep Singh [Arshdeep in shit, eh!] and Sukhnaaz Singh Sandhu, saying both men were linked to organized crime and removed from Canada earlier this year. For some reason, the country to which they have been remigrated has not been named.

Walt sez: Good riddance to them! When are the remaining 44 going to be frog-marched onto an Air India (or Air Pakistan) plane?  And what about the 100s now the guests of His Majesty (and Canadian taxpayers) at crowbar hotels across the Great No-longer-white North? Eh?

"Bite me!" - "No? OK, I'll bite myself!" - Cannibal fights deportation

Here's an unusual story... very unusual... copied right from Breitbart News, who got it from Fox News.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem told reporters that an alleged cannibal attempted to eat himself during a deportation flight to his home country. Noem said US Marshals deputies told her the man inflicted serious wounds requiring immediate medical attention.

"The other day, I was talking to some marshals who have been partnering with ICE. They said that they had detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home," Noem told reporters at a meeting with President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, "and while they had him in his seat, he started to eat himself, and they had to get him off and get him medical attention."

Noem's comments to reporters came during a tour of Florida's new "Alligator Alcatraz". The facility, located in the Florida Everglades, is designed to hold up to 3000 detained illegal aliens as they await deportation proceedings. "These are the kind of deranged individuals that are on our streets in America that we're trying to target and get out of our country," the DHS Secretary continued, "because they are so deranged they don't belong here. They shouldn’t be walking the streets with our children, and they shouldn’t be living in the communities with our families who just want to… raise their children to grow up and get a job, and to live the American dream."

Noem told reporters that the new "Alligator Alcatraz" is a state-of-the-art facility that needs to be replicated in other states around the country. Due to budget cuts in the Biden era, the number of beds available for illegal alien detention decreased significantly, and additional capacity is needed to meet the demands of President Trump' aggressive mass deportation orders. "I hope my phone rings off the hook from governors calling and saying, ‘How can we do what Florida just did? How can we do exactly what they did?'" she said.

Innocent questions from Walt: What's the name of the cannibal wannabe's "unnamed country"? Apart from this, how do they know he's a cannibal? Did he actually eat someone in the US of A? Answers on the back of a postage stamp, please, to the usual address.

Note from Ed.: About the photo... I tried very hard to find a better illustration for this story, but this was the only one I could find that was funny(ish) and not sick-making. There are a lot of very sick people posting memes on the Internet.

Good news from Occupied Germany

If you've been waiting for my comment on the staged, boring, counter-factual, dismal, CNN interview of the Cackler and her valorous protector... you just had it. Let's turn our attention to das Vaterland, where, right now, millions of people are voting against migration and wokeness.

Why, here's a voter right now! His sign asks German chancellor Olaf Scholz how many more Germans must die at the hands of Islamic terrorists. He's referring, no doubt, to atrocities like the recent stabbings in Solingen. See "More 'Allahu akbar!' in Germany... implications for USA and Canada". WWW 26/8/24.

This weekend, in the German States of Saxony and Thuringia, comes the reckoning for Herr Scholz and his Social Democratic Party (the German equivalent of America's Dimocrats), who, under the leadership of Angela Merkel, encouraged the occupation of Germany by hordes of "refugees" and asylum-seekers who are hell-bent on establishing a European caliphate.

In those states (which, significantly, were part of East Germany), the rightist Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) is on the cusp of winning the most votes in German state elections for the first time since the days of Hitler.

For the gliberals, progressives, and one-worlders, that's a nightmare -- like the rise of MAGA in the US of A -- but others, particularly in the east, say the AfD is the last chance to get their country back. Cries of "Deutschland den Deutschen!" are loud in the land!

Just as in America, the temperature of German politics has been rising all year. At an SPD rally in Thuringia, protesters (like the one pictured) shouted "Liar!) at Chancellor Scholz. Chants of "Volksverräter" -- "Traitor to the people" -- were also heard.

Polling shows the SPD (and its Green and Liberal coalition partners) are doing so badly in Thuringia that they may not even get a single seat in the state parliament. The AfD, by contrast, tops the polls with 30% to the SPD's 22%.

Meanwhile, in neighbouring Saxony, the AfD is running neck and neck with the conservative CDU. The knife attack in Solingen, in which a Syrian asylum-seeker and jihadi wannabe killed three people, has fuelled fierce criticism of how successive "liberal democratic" governments have handled migration. In a response which can only be described as "panicky", ministers announce tougher asylum regulations and knife crime laws.

[How much tougher? Ed.]  Well, for one thing, they are actually in the process of deporting a handful of "irregular migrants" who asylum claims were denied.

Yesterday, a deportation flight bound for Afghanistan left Leipzig with 28 -- count `em, 28 -- Afghanis on board. That leaves only a million or so benefits-shoppers still in Germany. According to the Ministry of the Interior, those on the flight are convicted criminals from various states across Germany. Der Spiegel reported that each deportee, all of whom were male, received a payment of €1000 ($1100 in real money). The spokesthingy for Saxony’s Interior Ministry was unable to confirm this.

The flight marks Germany’s first deportation of Afghans back to their home country since the Taliban retook power there in August 2021, after the Biden Bug-out. In a presser following the flight's departure, a government spokesthingy emphasized that Berlin was not in direct talks with the Taliban. Rather,  he said, it secured the deportation through the mediation of "key regional powers" whom he carefully refused to name.

He did add, though, that the German government has made "intensive efforts" to deport migrants who have committed serious crimes back to Afghanistan and Syria in the wake of a knife attack -- not Solingen, but the "Allahu akbar!" incident in the southwestern city of Mannheim at the end of May. The German immigration control authorities have laboured mightily, it seems, and brought forth... well... see above.

83% of French back expulsion of "most dangerous" foreigners

A new poll taken days after a self-proclaimed "soldier of ISIS" killed four people, including a heroic police officer, in the French town of Trèbes, shows the French public strongly support a serious crackdown on radical Islam. An overwhelming majority are in favour of deporting some 20,000 "most dangerous" foreigners tagged as "fiché S", meaning that security services have a file on them.

The poll, taken by Odoxa-Dentsu and published on March 30th in Le Figaro, gauged support for proposals put forward after the terrorist attack by Laurent Wauquiez, leader of France's newly-formed Republican Party. (Good choice of names, eh!)

Click on the graphic to enlarge it for ease of reading. If you don't read French, Walt will list M Wauquiez's four modest suggestions:
* Ban salafism (approved by 88% of respondents to the poll)
* Place in "administrative detention" the most dangerous "fiché S" cases (87% approval)
* Expel (= deport) the "fiché S" foreigners (83%)
* Re-establish the state of emergency lifted only a few weeks prior to the Trèbes "incident" (61%)

The blue circles show how support for the propositions breaks down according to the political preferences of those polled, from left ("de gauche") through "REM" (the party of President Macron) to right ("de droite") and "FN" (Marine Le Pen's Front National). It's worth noting that even leftists and centrist REM supporters approved the ideas put forward, with only one exception.

The bar graph at the left shows response to the question: Would you be in favour of some curtailment of liberties in order to better assure the security of the French people? 61% of those polled said YES, and even 50% of self-identified leftists agreed.

As for Salafism - a term which may be unfamiliar to some of our readers -- the majority of responders support banning of the radical Islamic sect, even though over half of them acknowledged that implementing the ban in France would be difficult, if not impossible. Breitbart London has previously reported on the nature of Salafism, which contains many radical preachers who see violence as legitimate in pursuance of its aims and which provides the intellectual basis for the Islamic State. A regional director of the German constitutional police said in 2017 that "every jihadist terrorist we've seen in Europe in recent years came from the Salafist scene."

The opinions of the French public are clear, and strong too. Will the government of Emmanuel Macron listen to the people? Are such politically incorrect opinions ever listened to by the government of any of our western democracies? Walt can think of only one prime minister or president who would heed the opinion of the people who elected him. I won't tell you his name but his initials are Donald Trump!

Nigerian "refugee" to be deported after 38 years in the USA and Canada

Ed. here. The Toronto (Red) Star, notorious for its support of liberal (and Liberal) causes, today features an article about a Nigerian "refugee" who, after spending nearly 38 years in the USA and Canuckistan, is supposed to be deported, at a cost to taxpayers of over $190,000 (in real money). Since the story is meant to cast aspersions on Canada's insane "immigration" system and engender sympathy for the poor, put-upon "refugee", we feel sure the Star won't mind our reposting it.

A Toronto man has lost his last-ditch effort to delay his deportation to Nigeria after a 13-year fight that ended Thursday when the Federal Court refused to hear his latest request to suspend the removal.

Jamil Ogiamien, 48, was scheduled to be escorted by two Canada Border Services Agency officers and a nurse on a charter flight to Lagos overnight Thursday after the court dismissed his request, confirmed his lawyers, Subodh Bharati and David Cote.

According to an affidavit filed with the court by the federal Justice Department, the deportation arrangement would cost taxpayers $244,766.60, plus fuel. He was booked for deportation in late February but successfully asked the court to adjourn it because he needed time to retain a lawyer.

“We are disappointed by the outcome of Mr. Ogiamien’s case. We are extremely concerned about the amount of money which the Government of Canada is spending to deport this one individual,” said Cote. “We do not understand why Canada is spending this money to charter a plane to remove an individual who is not a danger to the public. Unfortunately, this was not explained to us, the client or the court.”

Ogiamien was awarded $60,000 in 2016 by an Ontario judge who ruled his charter rights were violated by multiple lockdowns at a provincial jail, where he had been detained for three years awaiting deportation. The award was quashed by the Court of Appeal for Ontario last August.

According to the court decisions from Ogiamien’s previous litigation, he moved to the United States in 1980 and came to Canada in 2001. He got into trouble with the law when he was arrested for using forged documents at an Ontario driver’s licensing office.

He filed an asylum claim while he was serving a six-month jail sentence for the offence, but the claim was deemed abandoned when he was extradited to the U.S. to face charges there of forgery and identity theft. In 2005, he was deported back to Canada, which has been trying to deport him since.

In 2013, he was arrested by Peel police and charged with impaired driving, possession of marijuana, robbery and prostitution-related charges. Although he was ultimately acquitted of all of the charges in 2014, he continued to be held at Maplehurst in Milton until June 2016, when he won his lawsuit and was released on a court order.

Before his deportation, Ogiamien had been asking for months to undergo a mental health assessment and an appointment was scheduled for April, said Bharati.

“Without a thorough assessment and diagnosis, we are concerned that he will not be able to find treatment in Nigeria,” said Bharati. “There are few options for mental health care in that country and that all too often, people with such problems end up begging on the streets to survive.”

Up to 34,000 African "refugees" to be deported...

...from Isarel. From Israel! Surely you didn't think it was going to be one of the AABC (America, Australia, Britain, Canada) countries, did you?
Only those champions of human rights, the Israelis, would have the chutzpah to send refugees and asylum-seekers back where they came from! And that's just what the government of (((Benjamin Netanyahu))) is going to do, starting this week.

On Sunday, the Israeli government started handing out notices to 20,000 male African migrants giving them two months to leave the country or risk being thrown in jail. They're being offered not just a plane ticket back to Africa, but the equivalent of $3500 in cash too. The message is clear -- take the money and go home!

There are some 34,000 African "refugees" and asylum-seekers in Israel, some of whom are seen in this picture saying "Hell no, we won't go!" [One of them seems to be upset that he didn't get his free bicycle. Ed.] Most of them came from veritable shitholes such as Sudan and Eritrea, and crossed into Israel through its porous border with Egypt prior to 2013 when Bibi erected... wait for it... a wall! (OK, it was more of a strong fence, but it did the trick. Donald Trump doubtless took note!) See "There goes the neighbourhood", WWW 10/8/12.

The Israeli government says the migrants not genuine refugees, but economic migrants, looking for work rather than asylum. Interior Minister (((Aryeh Deri))) said Israel's first obligation was to its own citizens, rather than the migrants. "They are not numbers, they are people, they are human and I am full of compassion and mercy," he told Army Radio. "But the small state of Israel cannot contain such a vast number of illegal infiltrators."

He was repeating what Prime Minister Netanyahu told his cabinet last September, that the tens of thousands of Africans who are living in Israel illegally "aren't refugees, or at least most of them aren't. Most of them are looking for jobs." He vowed, at that time, to "remove [the] illegal aliens who don’t belong here." See "All illegal aliens to be deported, government says", WWW 20/9/17.

The usual chorus of liberals and SJWs are whining that it's inhuman to send women and children to their death back in their homelands. The Israeli government insists that its deportationpolicy adheres to international law, and that people will not be sent back to Eritrea or Sudan, but to relatively safe places like Uganda. And, it adds, only men will be deported... at this time. Women, children and men with families in Israel will be allowed to stay for now, along with anyone having an unresolved claim for asylum. Nearly 15,000 asylum claims have been received. Of the 6800 requests reviewed so far, Israel has granted refugee status to 11 migrants.

Walt finds it hard to understand how so many American liberals and SJWs of the Jewish persuasion can be so vociferous in support of the DREAMers and other illegal immigrants, yet remain silent about Israel's treatment of those who have entered the Zionist entity illegally. I guess I just don't understand the principles and values of Judaism.

All illegal aliens to be deported, government says

Hahahaha, you didn't think Walt was talking about any of the ABC countries (America, Britain, Canada), did you? Such a sensible policy would never receive even a minute's thought from the Islamophiliac (= opposite of Islamophobic) leaders of the UK and Canada. President Trump probably has something like that in mind, but can't get the co-operation of the refugee-huggers and SJWs in Congress and the lamestream media.

The "government" which actually has the cojones to deport illegal aliens (forcibly, if necessary) is that of the "Zionist entity" -- Israel! The Israeli Justice Minister announced at the end of August that his country will shortly be introducing a law which will forcibly deport all non-Jewish illegal aliens, including so-called asylum seekers. This follows a ruling from the Israeli Supreme Court which approved Israel's current deportation program, but limited it to those "volunteering" to leave the Jewish ethno-state.

The Times of Israel quoted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as telling his cabinet the tens of thousands of Africans who are living in Israel illegally "aren’t refugees, or at least most of them aren't. Most of them are looking for jobs." A week earlier, Mr Netanyahu announced the establishment of a ministerial committee to deal with the influx of largely Sudanese and Eritrean migrants to Israel in recent years, vowing to "remove [the] illegal aliens who don’t belong here."

The prime minister's remarks come on the heels of a Supreme Court ruling that said the government could continue its controversial practice of deporting undocumented migrants to an unnamed third country, but also said it could no longer jail for more than 60 days those who refuse to leave. Israel has for several years been pressuring migrants to relocate to Uganda and Rwanda, through incarceration in detention facilities and the promise of financial incentives. Following the ruling, Israeli officials said they would amend the law so that migrants could be deported without their consent as well.

The Supreme Court ruling, which would effectively hobble the deportation program, was met with outrage by many lawmakers and residents of south Tel Aviv, an area that has seen a large influx of illegal African migrants in recent years. Many local residents have protested the so-called asylum-seekers, who they claim engage in crime and have overrun their neighbourhood. Hundreds of residents protested outside the home of Supreme Court President Miriam Naor, demanding "human rights for citizens too." Now there's a slogan which fed-up Brits, Canucks and Merkans could well to adopt!

Tales from Down East: of Acadians and the elusive Americans

Yesterday I promised you some tales from "Down East", which is what Canucks call their four Atlantic provinces: Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. (The term "Maritimes", which you sometimes hear, refers only to the last three.) They say the people Down East are the friendliest, the seafood the finest, and the problems the fewest of any part of the Dominion.

All that and more made Atlantic Canada the preferred destination for the many 1000s of American snowflakes, like Lena Dunham, who threatened (or promised) to leave the Excited States of America in the unlikely (so they thought) event that Donald Trump became President.

Which he did. But did the mortally wounded liberals stage a mass exodus to what Michael Moore thinks is heaven? The ballots were still being counted when Canada's state-owned broadcaster, the CBC, cast doubts on whether it would really happen. (See "Are Americans really going to flee to Canada after Trump win?", 9/11/17.) Would they really ignore Gavin McInnes' warning? Guided by Agent 78, Walt spent last week in Nova Scotia, hunting [read "searching". Ed.] for refugees from the land of the free and the home of the wimpy.

In the first picture you see Walt [Really! Ed.] looking out over the Grand Pré ("Big Meadow"), in the heart of Evangeline country, or Acadia, as she is still proudly known. Evangeline is the heroine of an epic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (an American!), published in 1847. The poem tells the story of an Acadian girl named Evangeline and her search for her lost love Gabriel, set during the time of the Expulsion of the Acadians.

The Acadians who still live in the Maritimes refer to the shameful events of the mid-18th century as le Grand Dérangement (the Great Deportation). When the French ceded most of New France to the British, the latter were distressed to find the area around the Bay of Fundy already settled by people who were French-speaking but, even worse, Catholics. So they threw them out. Deported them. The Acadians were shipped off, from a point just a couple of miles from where Walt is sitting in the picture, to the Thirteen Colonies, to France (which the Acadians did not regard as "the old country") and to Louisiana, where their descendants became known as... wait for it... Cajuns! But many of them returned to Canada, and are there in the tens of thousands even now, still proudly Acadian after all these years.

The point of that story -- and I do have one -- is that the idea of ridding your country of people who do not share your language and your values did not originate with Donald Trump! The lesson for Mr Trump is that it's nigh well impossible to expel thousands or millions of people and expect them to stay gone. Before the Glorious War of the Secession, many well-meaning Americans, including "Honest Abe", thought shipping coloured people back to Africa was the solution to the problem of slavery. That was the notion that resulted in the creation of Liberia. Didn't work any better than did the Expulsion of the Acadians.

The best you can do, IMHO, is to close your borders and hope that the "others" will one day assimilate, as did the Acadians. Today they are the most perfectly bilingual and bi-cultural Canadians -- all-round great people.

But I digress.... The mission was to find some Americans who had, post-Trump, navigated Canada's complex and stupid immigration system and settled in Nova Scotia. Agent 78 and I travelled from Halifax southwest to Lunenburg then up to Grand Pré, across through Truro and all the way around Cape Breton Island without meeting (or even hearing of) one (1) American who had recently relocated to that beautiful province.

We did, however, encounter several American tourists -- whiteys, every one -- the kind who can't work out the "funny money". What they have figured out, though, is how to apologize for being American. "Don't blame me. I didn't vote for him." That strikes me as both sad and unnecessary. If you're from a nice part of the USA -- Virginia, let's say -- Down East people will probably welcome you more warmly than if you were from, say, Toronto. Even if you wanted to settle!

Deported 15 times already, Mexican charged with CA hit-and-run

Believe it or not, some WWW readers don't read Fox News, because they are "resisters" who blame the Murdoch media for the election of President Trump. [Some of them don't read any news. They just surf the Net looking for porn. We know who you are! Ed.] Walt tries to keep his mind at least partially open, and reads an eclectic mix of alt-right and lamestream meeja every day... every bloody day...

Fox News covers not just American politics, but all the stuff you'd find in USA Today [which isn't saying much. Ed.] including a "Style + Beauty" section in which the boob-minded can find swimsuit pix... and more... FN also features the straight dope on stories that the mainstream jews media bury at the bottom of the inside pages, like this item from California.

An illegal immigrant – who had been deported 15 times – is accused of seriously injuring a 6-year-old boy in a Saturday night drunken driving hit-and-run crash, federal officials told the San Diego Union-Tribune. Constantino Banda-Acosta, a 38-year-old Mexican citizen, was kicked out of the USA 15 times in the past 15 years, with his most previous deportation coming January 18th.

Senor Banda-Acosta is accused of running a stop sign in the San Ysidro hit-and-run. He was taken into custody, about a half hour after the crash occurred, along with another man who was also an illegal immigrant. The injured boy, Lennox Lake, was coming home from Disneyland with his family on Saturday, and the group was about a block from their home when the collision happened.

The illegal immigrant was being held on $100,000 bail and had an arraignment set for today (Wednesday). He was arrested in 2006 on a DUI charge, had his license suspended three other times and also was accused of a domestic violence incident by his estranged wife.

What (Walt asks) should be done with a low-life scofflaw like this? How about keeping him in an American jail at a cost to taxpayers of over $100,000 per year? No good? How about deporting him? Oh... wait...

Jew calls Canada's welcome of 1000s of Muslim refugees "reckless, politically correct thinking"

Lawrence Solomon is a columnist with Canada’s National Post. His name suggests that he is not Lawrence of Arabia, but Lawrence of... err... let's just say he's of the Jewish persuasion. His religion has nothing to do, of course, with the thoughts expressed in his piece headed "Europe is planning to deport hundreds of thousands of Muslims", which appeared on the Post website today.

The gist of Mr. Solomon's message to Canucks is to be found in the conclusion: "Canada's historic approach to immigration since Confederation – welcoming the multitudes who would fit in, but also requiring them to fit it – has served this country well, allowing us to maintain our liberties and grow our economy. Europe’s cautionary tale, coming to us now as it does, when we are at risk of falling prey to reckless, politically correct thinking on immigration, could not have been a more timely reminder of the ways in which our historic immigration policies have been wise."

For those who don't geddit, he is saying that if the "historic immigration policies" were wise, the Justin Trudeau's new policies are unwise. Got it now? Mr. Solomon calls open-door immigration policies such as Angela Merkel's now-discredited Willkommenskultur, the product of "a soft-headed if soft-hearted desire to help desperate refugees." Without saying "I told you so" (for he didn't!) he says it's all ending badly. And he has some statistics from Europe to prove it.

Sweden, he writes, is planning to deport half of its 160,000 migrants. Finland plans to deport two-thirds of its 32,000 migrants. And Germany intends to deport all migrants who arrived under false pretenses – a number that could total many hundreds of thousands – as well as all migrants from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, which Germany now deems “safe” countries because they are not at war.

Mr. Solomon goes on to cite, again, the New Year's Eve rape-fest in Cologne, Germany. He says that, "although government officials and the mainstream press initially tried to cover up the extent of the wrong-doing, an estimated 1,000 Muslims in Cologne alone participated in 'Taharrush' a practice of encircling, groping and sometimes raping women..."

Mr. Solomon writes dispassionately of course. He does not personally point the racist finger of blame at Muslims. He merely reports that law enforcement officials and NGOs in many countries attribute a disproportionate number of rapes to young, single Muslim men. And, he goes on, "crime by migrants is rampant. Hamburg police reports 20,000 purse-snatches a year, 90 per cent of them by males in their 20s from North Africa or the Balkans. In 2014, even before the migrant stampede accelerated, 38,000 asylum seekers had been accused of committing crimes."

Canada, the writer concludes, has been lucky... so far... because it has not yet accepted "untoward levels of migrants". But there is still the matter of M Trudeau's rash promise, after his government failed to meet its target of admitting 25,000 by the end of last year, to raise the number of Syrian migrants to 50,000 by the end of 2016. If you go through with this unwise plan, Mr. Solomon seems to be saying, it will end just as badly as it is now in Europe. Don't say he [and Walt! Ed.] didn't warn you.

UK tells Muslim women "Learn English or get out!"

Word reaches us today of an incredibly politically incorrect statement by British Prime Minister David Cameron. Meeting with a group of Muslim women to announce funding for English classes for female Muslim immigrants, Mr. Cameron told them that, in order to integrate into British society, they'd better improve their English, and right sharpish too! Or else, he added, they could face deportation!

Did Mr. Cameron really say that? The story on the AP mojo wire says he emphasized that Britain has expectations for those who want to live in the country. "I think it’s quite right to say to people who come to our country that there are many rights that you have here -- it’s a fantastic country to live in -- but there are also obligations that we should put on people who come to our country, and chief amongst them should be obligations to learn English, because then you can integrate, you can take advantage of the opportunities here and you can help us to build the strong country that we want."

But (as the usual gang of anti-racism and "human rights" activists were quick to cry out) why just Muslim women? Well, it seems that single male Muslim immigrants -- including the 1000s of refugees and asylum-seekers admitted to the UK every year -- don't want to marry British-born girls, so they send home to south Asia and the Middle East for nice virginal Muslim brides. The prospective spouses are required by the British government to demonstrate English language skills to standards of roughly that of a child starting primary school. But once they arrive, they lose interest in learning, with the result that there are some 200,000 Muslim women in the country who can't are functionally illiterate.

Under the government's new plan, spouses would have five years to improve their ability to a higher standard, after which "No speak English!" gets you a ticket back to Armpitistan. How about that? How bad must the problem of integrating aliens be for the famously tolerant British to even consider such a discriminatory, Islamophobic, racist, yada-yada-yada measure? We on this side of the pond would never do such a thing... would we?

Footnote: Even as Mr. Cameron laid down the law to the Muslim ladies, the British House of Commons debated a motion to bar Donald Trump from entering the UK. Why? Because Mr. Trump thinks it would be a good idea to bar Muslims from entering the USA. Ah, perfidious Albion! But the debate doesn't matter, because Parliament can't bar anyone from entering Not-so-great Britain. That power rests with the Home Office.

Faster deportation of foreign criminals gets unlikely endorsement

Canada has two self-proclaimed English-language "national newspapers". One is the National Post, founded by Conrad Black, formerly Lord Black of Cross Harbour. The Daily Tubby -- as the paper is still called in his honour -- is markedly conservative, in emulation of Britain's Daily Torygraph [Telegraph, surely. Ed.] which Mr. Black also owned at one time.

The doyen of Canada's lamestream media, however, is the good grey Globe and Mail, often referred to in Walt's World. Its predecessor, the Globe, was founded in 1844 by Scottish immigrant George Brown, one of the Fathers of Confederation. Brown was a small-l liberal, and began the paper as an organ for his Reform Party. In the 19th century it spoke for progressive thinkers, choosing for its motto: "The subject who is truly loyal to the Chief Magistrate will neither advise nor submit to arbitrary measures." The quotation is carried on the Globe's editorial page to this day.

In the 20th century, the Globe somehow lost its modern, progressive bearings, and became the champion of conservatism -- politically, economically and culturally -- the voice of the establishment.

Yet the Globe couldn't hold back the tide of liberalism that rolled over Canada -- or at least Toronto -- in the hippy-dippy 60s. Historian David Hayes says its editorials in this period "took a benign view of hippies and homosexuals; championed most aspects of the welfare state; opposed, after some deliberation, the Vietnam War; and supported legalizing marijuana." It was a 1967 Globe and Mail editorial that coined the phrase "The State has no place in the bedrooms of the nation," in defence of legalization of homosexuality. The line was later picked up by Pierre Trudeau and became one of the future Prime Minister's most-quoted slogans.

To this day, the Groan and Wail is the undisputed champion of the chattering classes and the Volvo liberals -- the rich Rosedale socialites who delight in helping the poor and downtrodden of every country except Canada, and -- in Canada -- every bullied, "disadvantaged" and "at risk" minority they can touch with a bargepole.

[That's quite enough introduction. Get on with it! Ed.]

OK... all of this is to say that Walt was not surprised when the Mop and Flail (thank you, Richard J. Needham) somehow couldn't find enough space last week to devote even one column inch to the Canadian government's proposed Faster Removal of Foreign Criminals Act. Walt told you about it on June 20th, but from 444 Front Street West came nary a word.

One reason for the profound silence could be that the Globe, to its credit, has a lively and only lightly moderated comments section following most articles -- except those that its politically correct editorial board deems unfit for the common people to discuss, such as black crime or bogus refugees. It could be that the editors didn't want to run the FRFCA story at all because they knew they'd get about 1000 comments approving the legislation for every one advocating more hugging of hoodies.

Walt is pleased to say that the Globe's editors have at last weighed in on the subject. After considerable thought -- and sticking its collective finger out the window to see which way the wind was blowing -- the G&M has pronounced itself in favour of the new law. "Kenney is right to speed up deportations", today's editorial says!

I wanted to reprint the entire editorial, but Ed. tells me we're out of space. Click here to read it. And note the concluding sentence: The tiny share of immigrants and refugees who lack citizenship and are convicted of serious crimes on Canadian soil forfeit their right to be here.

Couldn't agree more. But what if not just Canada, but the USA, UK, France, Germany etc. took such measures? Where would all the gangstas, drug dealers, pimps and honour killers go? Back to the third world -- that's where!

Canucks to deport "foreign" criminals. Really!

Earlier today Walt posted an item which poked a little fun at Canada's Minister of Immigration, Jason Kenney, for calling an Alberta minister "a complete and utter asshole". You have to give the man credit, though, for telling it the way he sees it. As he did today when he introduced legislation which give him sweeping powers to deport "foreign" (i.e. non-Canadian) criminals, and to deny entry to "visitors" for pretty much any reason.

The new legislation, if passed unamended, would make it easier for the government to deport refugees, permanent residents and visitors for "serious criminality" -- crimes punishable by six months or more as guests of Her Majesty. Mr. Kenney told a CBC interviewer, "I think you can call them dangerous, you can call them serious, we don't want them in Canada anymore, and that's the bottom line."

He went on to say, "If you are a foreign national and you want the privilege of staying in Canada, don't commit a serious crime.… I don't think that's too much to ask people." Walt is having trouble hearing this afternoon, having been deafened by the sound of applause from coast to coast to coast.

The proposed law would also take away the rather overworked appeals to "humanitarian and compassionate grounds" as factors in appealing a decision that someone is inadmissible to Canada. Mr. Kenney's spokesthingy [Alexis Pavlich again? Ed.] said there are 2747 people with convictions appealing to the Immigration Appeal Division to be able to stay in Canada. According to numerous public opinion polls, most Canadians don't find these criminals so appealing, and would be glad to see the back of them.

Other proposed changes under the Canadian immigration laws include:
* A rule that would deny an appeal to those with foreign convictions for crimes that would carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in Canada.
* A rule that would deny entry to Canada to those with a family member inadmissible for security and human rights reasons -- ex-dictators, for instance -- or organized crime connections, even if that family member isn't travelling with them.
* A five-year inadmissibility period for lying on immigration applications.
* Reporting conditions for those under deportation orders.
* Automatic inadmissibility for non-Canadians and permanent residents for acts of espionage or acts "against Canada's interests".

In last year's federal election campaign platform, the Conservatives promised to streamline deportations of foreign criminals. Here's what their campaign literature said:
"It often takes years to deport even dangerous foreign criminals from Canada. In some cases, foreign criminals and terrorists here have evaded removal for over a decade as they exploit endless appeals and loopholes. Canadians expect that foreign criminals will get due process before being removed, but not an endless abuse of our generosity."

And here's what Mr. Kenney said today. "If you commit a serious crime in Canada, we are going to send you packing as quickly as we can." Wow. How long have Canadians been waiting to hear that?!

The long overdue reform of Canada's frighteningly liberal immigration rules counts as an election promise kept. Wonder how such a promise would play in Peoria.

Three sentences the rioters will understand

It didn't take long after today's posts for a reader to raise the question of what I would do with hoodlums and hooligans caught looting, burning and generally causing mayhem.

The Economist says they should be brought before the courts and shown that criminal behaviour has "long-term consequences". Such as what? Should we keep building more and bigger jails, and filling them up even faster than we can build them? That's what the lawn ordure "reformers" keep advocating. Doesn't anyone have a better idea? Ahem...

I present not one but three (count `em, three) ideas on how to send the gangstas, chavs and other scum a message in language they can understand. (I do not speak of Jamaican English.) These ideas are not new. Two of them have been tried before, but set aside as emphasizing retribution and deterrence at the expense of rehabilitation. As if these offenders could be rehabilitated. The third idea is still being tried, but only in a half-hearted way. Here they are.

Hard labour
Agent 3, who was called to the bar back in the `60s, says he can't recall ever hearing "at hard labour" tacked onto the end of a prison sentence. While states and provinces across North America are campaigning to get service clubs to "adopt a highway" (meaning picking up the trash and suchlike), inmates of our prisons sit on their blacksides playing cards and watching TV.

What's wrong with the concept of the chain gang? Such was proposed, earlier this year, by the Leader of the Opposition in the Ontario legislature, but "forces for good and progress" in the community denounced Tim Whodat and the idea for being throwbacks to the 19th century. Admittedly, there have been plenty of abuses in times past, but the idea that convicts should have to work off their debt to society -- by making big ones into little ones, for instance -- is basically sound.

Corporal punishment
Commentators and criminologists tell us that one of the causes of the societal breakdown we're witnessing is a lack of discipline. Not much more than a century ago, the British army was famous for its discipline, demanding unquestioning and instant obedience from uneducated and rebellious soldiers, many of them drawn from the underclass which we now wonder how to control.

It was not uncommon for judges to give a "hard case" the option of going to jail for several years, or joining the army. If they survived, those who joined up came out better men and better citizens. Because they were disciplined. How? By corporal punishment! The army way of life, in those days, might be summed up as "grog and flog".

And please don't tell me that's an old-fashioned idea. Corporal punishment was still possible under many criminal codes up until the hippy-dippy `60s, when it became, yeah, uncool. And I'm talking about the so-called civilized world, not Saudi Arabia or some other Sharia law hellhole. Imagine the look on the face of a perp on hearing "sixty strokes".

Deportation
Australia was founded by convicts who had been sent to the Antipodes as punishment for crime. Since the country was just a collection of British colonies at the time, the founding fathers were not being deported but transported. Since Britain and America have pretty much run out of colonies, and Canada never had any to start with, transportation is no longer an option. But what's wrong with the idea of sending people who are in your country illegally, and commit a crime while they're there, back to where they came from?

Nothing! Nothing except political correctness requires us to tolerate the presence in our midst of foreigners who disrupt our society and break its laws. And judges know this, so every now and then one of them has the courage to order a convict deported after serving his sentence. What happens then? They get off the plane at Kingston (just sayin') and get right back on the next plane back to London or New York or Toronto. In the unlikely event they're challenged on arrival, they all know the magic word "refugee". And so the cycle begins again.

We have been soft on criminals for half a century now, because, as the gliberals keep telling us, "it's not their fault, but ours." They're depraved on account of they're deprived! (See previous post.)

Hugging hoodies doesn't work! If we really want to put an end to the complete disregard of laws and social norms on display last week, it's time to get tough with the underclass. I gave you three ideas, without calling for the cutting off the hoodlums' hands or heads. Next time your elected representative tells you he or she doesn't know what can be done, tell them you know... No charge.
