Putin's right about one thing!

Both Dr Jordan Peterson and Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, have been quoted here and elsewhere as saying that we must be careful not to vilify Russian President Vladimir Putin as the devil incarnate, "the new Hitler", etc.

His invasion of Ukraine is evil, to be sure, but, looking at the broader picture -- the fight to preserve Western civilization -- we must recognize that Mr Putin is almost the only leader* challenging the un-Christian secular humanism which is the politically correct orthodoxy of Europe and North America... except Russia.

Case in point: the ceaseless barrage of pro-queer propaganda forcing homosexuality, gender fluidity, and gender ideology down our throats (or other orifices). Most older folks aren't buying it, but our children are being taught, from curricula written by queers in our public schools, that it's "normal" to be attracted to members of the same sex, and to act on that attraction.

"Gender affirmation surgery", which we used to call "sex change operations" are not just approved but encouraged. And in our public libraries, drag queens are grooming our innocent children. And all this is being paid for by our tax dollars!

You won't see any of this in Russia! The state news agency, TASS, reports that this week legislators of the State Duma (the lower house of Russia's parliament), unanimously passed a draft law, sponsored by 400 of the Duman's 450 members, banning the media from publishing propaganda for "non-traditional sexual relations".

The chairman noted that the Duma had received high-profile initiatives requesting the ban on such information. He stressed that this issue was very important because such propaganda is aimed at destroying Russian society and traditional family values. Odd, isn't it, that parliamentarians in the USA, UK, Canada etc haven't figured that out? Maybe I should have said "queer", rather than "odd"!

The bill prohibits the promotion of non-traditional sexual relations, pedophilia and the display of LGBT-related information and information encouraging gender changes among teenagers, on the Internet, in the media, in books, on audio and visual platforms, and in movies and advertisements.

It also introduces a mechanism restricting children’s access to LGBT-related information on paid services. In particular, it demands users enter codes or take other actions to confirm their age. In addition, the document suggests banning audio and visual services from spreading information harmful to the health and development of children.

The Duma legislators also approved in the first reading a draft law stipulating administrative liability for propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, pedophilia as well as gender change among teenagers and adults.

The new bill stipulates maximum fines of 5 million rubles (over $81,400) for spreading LGBT propaganda among minors and 4 million rubles (over $65,146) among adults. Foreign nationals involved in promoting non-traditional sexual relations propaganda will be expelled from Russia and fined up to 400,000 rubles ($6,500). An administrative 15-day detention is also possible in regard to foreign nationals.

Only in Russia, you say? Pity, sez  Walt. We need something like that here.

* Footnote: There are a handful of foreign leaders, including Italy's Prime Minister Giorgina Meloni, and Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, who I think would agree with President Putin on the necessity for such a law, but Russia remains the only country in which a ban on pro-queer propaganda is now the law of the land.

VIDEO: Michael Matt: How to make America great again

In The Remnant Underground videos, Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, usually talks chiefly about the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church. Lately though, Mr Matt is focusing on American politics. That's because recent elections, particularly the upcoming mid-terms, are contests between good and evil. Seriously!

In spite of the Democrats' attempts to demonize President Trump and all his works, the fight is not so much between good people and bad people, but about whether America shall be ruled by people who espouse the morally evil policies of the left. Like abortion.

President Brandon says that if the Democrats retain control of Congress, the first thing he will do is send them a bill to codify Roe v. Wade. He wants to make abortion on demand -- the killing of babies -- the law of the land. That's evil. Seriously!

Mr Matt says such policies, and those who promote them, must be resisted. How? Florida governor Ron DeSantis says we must "put on the full armor of God" and "stand firm against the Left's schemes."

As Mr Matt says, it's good to hear Governor DeSantis and other politicians, such as Kari Lake, running for the governorship of Arizona, bring God into the debate. Watch this....

Mr Matt asserts, and Walt agrees, that there are rights and wrongs here, and we must stand up, speak up, and vote for what's right! The way to make America great again is to make America Christian again!

VIDEO: "Worst ever televised debate"

Not being a resident of Pennsylvania -- and thank goodness for that -- I didn't get a chance to see last night's so-called debate between the two candidates for the United States Senate, Dr Mehmet Oz (R) and John Fetterman (D).

Watching this reportage from Sky News Australia's Paul Murray, I thank goodness again. Imagine being a Pennsylvanian and thinking it was actually possible that some of my neighbours might vote for Mr Fetterman, who gives every appearance of being in worse shape, mentally, than Demented Joe. I mean... really??!!

It is possible that Mr Fetterman might beat the Good Doctor. Last I heard, although Dr Oz has momentum, polls show the race as too close to call. And don't forget the Philadelphia Factor.
Democrat poll-watcher calls a precinct captain: "How many votes have you got?"
Reply: "How many do you need?"

God save the United States of America!

Speaking (or NOT speaking) of black crime...

In "What the mainstream media don't like to report" (WWW 23/10/22) Walt gave an example (passed along by Agent 3) of how the lickspittle media turn a colour-blind eye to crimes committed by members of the so-called Black Community.

In the Greater [sic] Toronto Area, everyone knows that the majority of violent crimes in certain localities is committed by Persons of (Black) Colour. Yet the legacy newspapers and TV stations omit the names and/or pictures of the accused, so as not to feed the politically incorrect stereotype.

Toronto, like most large North American conurbations, has problems other than murder, rape and armed robbery. Chief among its crime problems is the trafficking in drugs, which ties in with guns and gangs. At the street level -- the gang level -- lots of the perps are black. But when you go up a little higher, the diversity on which Toronto prides itself is more evident. The blacks may provide the brawn, but people of other hues provide the brains.

In the interest of fairness, then, Agent 3 suggests that we publicize a report from Hamilton ON station CHCH-TV, whose website headlines it "Peel police make biggest bust in force's history with over $25M worth of drugs seized". (Peel Region, mentioned as well in our earlier post, is the suburban sprawl immediatelyn west of Toronto.)

Here's the nub of the story. "Members of Peel Regional Police's Specialized Enforcement Bureau joined forces with U.S. Homeland Security to bring down an international drug trafficking enterprise and seized the largest quantity of illegal drugs in the force’s history. The investigation called 'Project Zucaritas' lasted for 11 months and resulted in the seizure of over $25 million worth of drugs."

Now we come to the part about race. "The 11-month investigation identified several group members at various levels of the organization:
Khalilullah Amin, 46-year-old man from Caledon has been charged with two counts of trafficking in controlled substances.
Jaspreet Singh, 28-year-old man from Brampton has been charged with one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.
Wray Ip, 27-year-old man from Richmond Hill has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Ravinder Boparai, 27-year-old man from Mississauga has been charged with one count of possession of property obtained by crime, and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Gurdeep Gakhal, 38-year-old man from Caledon has been charged with one count of trafficking in a controlled substance."

Oh... The names (which we applaud CHCH for publishing) don't tell you anything? You think maybe those guys might be Irish? Here are the mug shots, courtesy of the Peelers. (British readers will get that.)

How's that for a  nice diverse group. Looks to me like one Muslim (Idi Amin's cousin?), one Chinese, and three Indians, including at least one Sikh. Coincidentally, statistics from the 2021 census of Canuckistan, released today, showed that the majority of immigrants in recent years come from those very same Asian communities. As Just In Trudeau would say, "Quelle surprise!"

The report continues: "Investigators have also identified two transfer hubs allegedly involved in the distribution of illicit drugs:
North King Logistics, a commercial trucking company located at 50 Steeles Ave. in Milton.
Friend Furniture, a business located at 2835 Argentia Rd. in Mississauga."

Milton ON has in recent years become the new home of 1000s of Muslims from the Mid-East and South Asia. Argentia Road, in the notheastern quadrant of Mississauga ON, around Toronto's main airport, has for decades been populated mainly by south Asians of the Sikh persuasion.

This is not just a Canadian problem. The report concludes: "To disrupt and dismantle this group, SEB liaised with the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations in Detroit and Chicago, and Border Enforcement Security Task Force in Buffalo."

The fact that Detroit, Chicago and Buffalo have large black populations is irrelevant, as is the fact that all three cities have been run for decades by fairly elected Democrats.

Metaverse scared of Pres. Trump? You bet!

Some of our readers were disappointed when they clicked on "VIDEO: He's coming back! Pres. Trump speaks in Texas, 22/10 - FULL" hoping to hear what President Trump had to say, only to find this.

Ed. has asked YouTube what TOS were violated, but has yet to receive an answer.

What does it all mean? Looks to us like the Alphabet people [not the LGBTQ2SXYZetc - the other ones. Ed.] are so shit-scared of the return of the Donald, not to mention the impending loss of control of Congress, that they will censor anything, anything that they believe will immanentize the eschaton.

Or it could be a copyright issue... right? In any case, the C-Span video is still accessible. Click here to watch.

What the mainstream media don't like to report

Agent 3 had a lot of time on his hands today, so has been reading the online news more thoroughly than usual. Do the lickspittle media tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth (he asks)?

Certainly not, when it comes to facts that might throw shade on the oppressed members of "marginalized communities".

You know who we mean. Here's an example, the entirety of a report on CTV News about arrests recently made in Peel Region, west of Toronto.

The most populous areas of Peel Region are the cities of Brampton and Mississauga, in which the visible minorities are white.

Six arrested following series of shootings in Peel Region

Six men face more than 30 charges in total following a three-month investigation by Peel Regional Police into a rash of gun violence.

Police say separate shootings between Aug. 13 and Oct. 3 of this year saw multiple homes and vehicles hit by gunfire, and a 27-year-old man suffered severe injuries.

They say six suspects, all men between the ages of 19 and 21 have been arrested on a range of charges, including attempted murder and various weapons-related offences.

All six were held in custody pending a bail hearing.

In addition to the arrests, police say officers also seized four illegal handguns and more than 50 rounds of ammunition.

The investigation involved officers from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB), 11 Division CIB, Specialized Enforcement Bureau, Intelligence, Emergency Support Services and Uniform Patrol.

This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 23, 2022.

That's it. That's all she wrote. Do you have any questions? Suspicions? Agent 3's search turned up the CP24 version of the same story, headlined

Six people charged in four separate shootings in Peel Region

Six people have been arrested in connection with four separate shootings in Peel Region over a three-month period.

In a news release on Saturday evening, Peel Regional Police announced the arrests in the shootings that occurred between Aug. 13 and Oct. 3.

Police say multiple residential units and vehicles were struck by gunfire in all the incidents. They add that a 27-year-old man suffered severe injuries in one of the shootings.

As a result of a multi-unit investigation, police said they seized four illegal handguns and more than 50 rounds of ammunition and laid more than 30 charges.

The six suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Kevonte Marksman, 20-year-old Elijah Kerridge-Lall, 20-year-old Shamar Lindsay, 20-year-old Nayshawn Oakley, 19-year-old Marquez Senior and 21-year-old Tyanthony Yee-Brown.

The emphasis of the penultimate paragraph is Agent 3's. There's one more paragraph, the usual plea that anyone with information contact the cops.

What (Agent 3 asks) do you suppose accounts for CTV News' failure to include the names of those charged? It's odd, considering the CTV News and CP24 are all part of the Bell Media conglomerate. It's odd, too, that neither report had mug shots of the accused. Not odd at all is the fact that neither report used the words "black" or "Black".

VIDEO: He's coming back! Pres. Trump speaks in Texas, 22/10 - FULL

Yesterday, in Robstown TX, President Donald Trump held a "Save America" rally, which also featured local and state officials. The Houston Chronicle headlined  its report: "Trump takes jabs at Beto O'Rourke, says he'll 'probably' run again in 2024". Watch it all, right here!

I hear you ask: Why a little town in Texas? According to Newsweek, Mr Trump wanted to show his support for two Republican candidates for Congress, in an area which was once a Democratic stronghold but is very much in play in the midterm elections.

Rep. Mayra Flores, who won a special election in June, will be facing Democrat Rep. Vicente Gonzalez in Texas’ Thirty-fourth District. In the Fifteenth District (currently represented by Mr Gonzalez) Monica De La Cruz is running against Democrat Michelle Vallejo.

Scott Adams reveals (admits?) the origins of "Dilbert"

Regular readers of WWW know that Walt [and Ed.! Ed.] are regular readers of Dilbert, the only comic strip that makes of today's woke America. (It has therefore been banned by dozens of newspapers.) True fans know that Dilbert has a strongly autobiographical flavour, but Mr Adams has never said as much in the strip itself. Until today.

Not that it was a secret. The story has been told in interviews with Mr Adams, and in the dust jacket blurbs on his books. Here's the Wikipedia version.

Scott Raymond Adams (born 8 June 1957) is an American author and cartoonist. He is the creator of the syndicated Dilbert comic strip, and the author of several nonfiction works of satire, commentary, and business. Dilbert gained national prominence during the downsizing period in 1990s America and reached a worldwide audience.

Mr Adams worked in various business roles before he became a full-time cartoonist in 1995. He writes in a satirical, often sarcastic way about the social and psychological landscape of white-collar workers in modern corporations.

Well, there's more to it than that. For years, Scott Adams welcomed True Stories from the insanely funny real world of business, and worked them into his strips, just as the second panel of today's strip says.

Latterly, life in America -- not just the business world -- has got so ridiculous that he no longer needs to solicit stories. All he has to do is read the papers. As witness this week's politically incorrect strips in which the pointy-haired boss interviews diverse candidates -- a white woman, a south Asian man and a Black man -- to apply for a new position as head of AI, just to comply with "ESG" mandates, only to give the job to Tina the tech writer, who knows nothing about AI.

In today's woke America, that's not satire, folks, that's just reporting. Walt [and Ed.! Ed.] wish Scott Adams continued success. Keep on truckin'! Honk honk!

VIDEO: "The Mystery Man": Is this what the crucified Jesus looked like?

Thanks to Agent 17 for pointing us in the direction of a video report on "The Mystery Man", a hyper-realistic model, based on the images on the Shroud of Turin, showing how Jesus Christ may have looked following the Crucifixion.

The Shroud, first mentioned in 1354, has baffled scholars through the ages. Many Christians (and some agnostic scientists and scholars) believe the mysterious relic is the bloodstained burial cloth of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus, after his crucifixion. Others call it an elaborate medieval fake.

The Roman Catholic Church takes no position on the genuiness of the Shroud, but has declared it an object worthy of veneration. (See "Do Catholics really worship images?" WWW, 17/10/22.)

Now, people will be able to make up their own minds. After years of research, experts have designed and created  a realistic sculpture, made of latex, silicon and real human hair, based on the Shroud. Here's the video. He who has eyes, let him see.

The impressive creation went on display in Salamanca Cathedral, Spain, last Thursday. It can be seen there until December, after which it is set to go on a worldwide tour, with exhibitions scheduled on five continents.

The sculpture weighs 165.3 pounds and is 5'10" long... or tall... and shows all the wounds Jesus suffered, including the wound inflicted on Jesus' side by the Holy Lance, the numerous scratches to his body sustained after Pontius Pilate ordered him to be scourged, and the cuts on Jesus' head and Holy Face caused by the Crown of Thorns which Roman soldiers pressed on his brow.

There are some graphic close-ups circulating on the Internet, which Ed. judges too gruesome to show here -- like watching The Passion of the Christ.

Said Most Rev. Jose Luis Retana, the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo y de Salamanca, "This morning in this cathedral we are going to be the protagonists of what seems to be a worldwide success." He highlighted "the great opportunity that this exhibition represents for the faith."

The prelate said that the body of the man in the Holy Shroud can represent "the concretion of God's love that becomes flesh in Jesus Christ who dies like a malefactor with a terrible sacrifice for our salvation. There is no greater love in the world."

VIDEOS: Brits don't Truss cuckservative/CINO Prime Ministers

Greetings to our readers in the Disunited Kingdom, where his Britannic Majesty, King Charles, the Third of that name, will shortly receive the formal resignation of Liz Truss, the "Conservative" (read: CINO) Prime Minister who announced her resignation today, after just 45 days in office. Here's what she told the meeja just a day previous to throwing in the towel.

Following the presser, Ms Truss held a hastily arranged meeting in her office with Graham Brady, a senior Conservative lawmaker who oversees leadership challenges. Mr Brady was tasked with assessing whether the prime minister still has the support of Tory members of Parliament.. and found, to no-one's surprise, that she did not.

A growing number of lawmakers -- not just opposition members but MPs in Ms Truss's own so-called Conservative Party -- had called for the Prime Minister's resignation after weeks of turmoil sparked by her ill-conceived economic plan, which scared hell out of economists, the stock market, investors and everyone else. Even President Brandon said he didn't think it was a good idea, but quickly added it wasn't any of his business.

Following last month's unveiling of the plan, the Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng [a diversity hire? Ed.] was fired. Several 90- and 180-degree turns later, the policy was abandoned, but the damage had been done. Discipline within the Cuckservative Party broke down completely.

Walt notes with satisfaction that it was not bunny-brained economic policy alone that brought Liz Truss low. She reportedly had a 90-minute shouting match with Suella Braverman -- a woman of colour -- over, of all things, immigration.

During the campaign to replace Boris "Bozo" Johnson, Ms Braverman was seen by grass-roots conservative Conservatives as their candidate, the one who would at last tackle illegal immigration, as the party had promised to do during the 2019 election campaign. Alas, Ms Braverman was not allowed to reach the final runoff. As a soop to the social conservatives, Prime Minister Truss named her Home Secretary, responsible for policing, national security and immigration in government.

Unlike her predecessor (also a WOC), Ms Braverman continued to push immigration control in word and deed, leading to significant tensions with Ms Truss, who was not especially interested in it. Quite the contrary, during her push to become the next PM, Ms Truss advocated more immigration, as "needed for economic growth" -- the line being pushed by Messrs Brandon, Trudeau et al.

So, being against the open borders agenda, Ms Braverman had to go. Officially, she was made to resign as Home Secretary for sending a fellow Tory MP an email in which she wrote "Why are we trying to appease the OBR? Is everything getting thrown out the window?"

The unelected Office for Budget Responsibility, very much part of the liberal establishment, considers immigration-driven increases in GDP to be ipso facto a good thing. Ms Braverman called liberalizing immigration policy in defence to rulings by  the European Court of Human Rights "a betrayal of the 2019 electorate."

Today, the London markets are in turmoil, as is the Conservative Party and Not-so-great Britain herself. Such is the level to which things have sunk that it is reported -- breaking news as I write -- that Bojo has cut short a European vacation to return (he thinks) to 10 Downing Street. What a gong how! Or perhaps a Muppet Show?

VIDEO: Do Catholics really worship images?

"Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth. / Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them." (Exodus 20:4-5 DRV)

An evangelical Protestant reader has written to take us traditional Catholics to task for worshipping images -- he uses the term "idols" -- such as that to be seen on the iconostas and elsewhere in our churches.

Yesterday, at Saint Elias Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church, in Brampton ON, Protodeacon David Kennedy, took up this question. In under eight minutes (!) he explains the difference between worship and veneration, and why the icons help us to visualize the God we worship.

Click here for more information on the architecture and iconography of the Church of Saint Elias the Prophet, and here for a further explanation of the church interior. To see what actually happens during an Eastern Catholic worship service, go to the Friends of Saint Elias YouTube channel. New videos  of Vespers, Matins and the Divine Liturgy are added at least once a week.

Freedom Convoy: Will Trudeau be held to account?

You remember, eh, the Freedom Convoy, the peaceful -- not mostly peaceful, but totally peaceful, except for the actions of Trudeau's storm troopers -- protest which tied up Canuckistan's capital city in February, giving Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface what he thought was a good excuse to invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act to crack down on Canadians' civil liberties.

If you've forgotten, or just weren't paying much attention at the time, check out these WWW reports. "True Facts about Canada's Freedom Convoy" (includes video with John-Henry Westen), 9/2/22

The Emergencies Act includes a provision that requires a public inquiry, after the Act is used, to determine whether its use was justified. Sort of like: verdict first, trial later. Anyhoo, the inquiry finally got underway in Ennui-on-the-Rideau this week. It is to be known as the "Rouleau Commission" because the presiding judge, appointed by Mr Sock, is Paul Rouleau, a justice of the Ontario Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Mr Justice Rouleau is a graduate of University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, and has previously served on the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Supreme Court of Yukon, the Nunavut Court of Justice, and the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories in 2017.

Before getting these nice jobs, Mr Rouleau worked for the Liberal Party of Canada. In 1983, he was part of John Turner's campaign to take over the Liberal leadership (and thus become prime minister) when Emperor Trudeau I announced his retirement. Later, he had a hand in helping pick Mr Turner's cabinet, and is described as either his executive assistant or appointments secretary in various media reports from that era. Can you say "whitewash", boys and girls? I knew you could.

Now that he's a judge, Mr Rouleau is supposed to be apolitical, non-partisan, and open-minded. He accepted without hesitation the terms of reference for the mission: not merely to look into the government's actions and whether they were justified, but to investigate the behaviour and financing of the protesters. (Junior claimed that they were directed and financed by foreign extremists.) In his opening statement, Mr Justice Rouleau said, "Uncovering the truth is an important goal."

What is the truth? Depends on whether you're on the side of the self-righteous, liberal police state... or of freedom. The Freedom Convoy was appropriately named, standing up for freedom from oppression by the nanny state. The invocation of the Emergencies Act severely restricted the rights to freedom of expression, assembly and association.

In opening statements on Thursday, civil liberties groups, including the Canadian Constitution Foundation and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, noted the sweeping rights implications of the act.  The Emergency Economic Measures Order, made in pursuance of the act, chilled freedom of expression, by mandating banks to freeze bank accounts of those connected to the protests, without any warrant or notice to the account-holders.

Counsel for the Liberal government argued its view that Canada faced an "unprecedented and critical" situation in the face of ongoing protests and blockades, including threats of "ideologically motivated violence" and impact on Canada’s trade, international relationships, and reputation. Even as opening statements were being read, the Emperor [Prime Minister, shurely! Ed.], rather than saying that since the matter was before the court, or that he would be testifying later, was making his argument publicly in every "media availability".

"We knew from the very beginning," he told the CBC and the rest of the lickspittle media, "that invoking the Emergencies Act is a big step that had never been done before. But given these unprecedented illegal protests, we needed to take action. We took it in a way that was measured, that was responsible that was time limited."

Lawyers for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, begged to differ, expressing disapproval of the federal government's failure to consult them before invoking the act. Yes, they were called, according to counsel for Saskatchewan, but "the call was not so much about consulting as it was about telling." Saskatchewan also opposed the financial measures, which required banks and other institutions to take significant steps with little guidance from the government.

Several provinces requested that the act's application be geographically limited, which it was not. Counsel for Alberta noted that the province was able to deal with the Coutts AB border blockades under existing laws, and that none of the powers under the Emergencies Act were necessary, or indeed invoked, in that province.

Counsel for the various police forces involved, and residents of Ottawa who say they were affected by the protest, backed up Mr Socks. The residents' lawyer called the protests "highly disruptive, even traumatizing", what with continual honk-honking throughout the night, loose jerry cans lying the streets, and "general disorder."

On Friday, the commission began hearing evidence from witnesses, starting with the Parade of the Snowflakes -- Ottawa residents whining about the supposed disruption of their lives. At the head of tyhe parade was a "legally blind" lady who entered the hall wearing sunglasses (and a mask, of course) and tapping her white cane. She said her condition had been worsened by the protest because she was afraid to go out, even to shop, for fear of being lost in the crowd.

A Chinese-Canadian lady said the noise of the air- and truck horns was so loud that she and her husband had to sleep in their car, in the basement of their condo. Even worse, she says she was bullied when she went into the street, and was told that she wasn't smiling under her mask!

Another Karen, a well-fed businesswoman, said she was afraid... very afraid. Why? "Because when I heard that the Ottawa police chief [Peter "Moves" Sloly] said he was afraid, I felt I should be afraid too." Seriously.

Mr Sloly, a diversity hire, was a "victim" of the protest, losing his job a couple of weeks in, for failing to get tough with the freedom fighters. [Your bias is showing. Ed.] The new acting chief called in the Toronto Police "Service" mounted unit, who got the job done without trampling on more than one little old lady.

The Rouleau Commission is expected to hear fro as many of 65 potential witnesses, including Prime Minister McBlackface, as time will allow. Given that 20 different organizations have standing and will be allowed to cross-examine witnesses, the hearings could take more than a little while.

However, the Commission's final report must, by law, be laid before Parliament by 20 February 2023. That wouldn't be a problem, though, for Mr Justice Rouleau if, as Walt suspects, his exoneration of Chief Walking Goose (Mr Trudeau's honorary Indian name) and all his minions has already been written by... ohhh... let's say Gerald Butts.

VIDEO: Leading cardinal warns Vatican insiders out to destroy Church

For years now, most Roman Catholic bishops, priests and laypeople have been saying -- "hoping" would be a better word -- that their is no crisis in the Church, that everyone is onboard with the unoly crusade of the man who calls himself Pope Francis to merge the True Faith with all the other faiths into a One World Church, the religion of the New World Order.

That's a lie! Pope Bergoglio is opposed by millions of traditional Catholics who cling for dear life -- eternal life -- to the True Faith. This week, one of the most powerful princes of the Church, Gerhard Cardinal Müller, Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, declared war on those inside the Vatican who are "occupying the Catholic Church" and, according to the Cardinal, engaging in a "hostile takeover."

In the latest edition of the Remnant Underground, Michael Matt presents and comments on portions of Raymond Arroyo's recent interview with the Cardinal Müller on the topic of Francis' "Church of Accompaniment". Listen as the prelate warns that if we don't resist, they will "destroy the Catholic Church!"

Note from Ed.: This is an edited version of the original Remnant Underground video. We wanted to focus solely on Raymond Arroyo's interview with Cardinal Müller, and Michael Matt's comments. In the first 15 minutes of so of the full-length video, Mr Matt talks about the election of Giorgina Meloni as Prime Minister of Italy, and the controversy over over which side we should take in the war in the Ukraine. VIDEO: Tulsi Gabbard... say wut?

Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician, United States Army Reserve officer and political commentator who served as the Congressthingy for Hawaii's 2nd District from 2013 to 2021. Gabbard was the first Hindu member of Congress and also the first Samoan-American voting member of Congress.

In 2020, Ms Gabbard proved the danger of over-estimating yourself. She chose not to run for re-election to Congress -- a contest she could have won easily -- but to throw her had into the ring for the Democratic nomination for the presidensity. That March, seeing her folly, she ended her presidential candidacy and endorsed Demented Joe.

Since then, although still describing herself as a Democrat, Ms Gabbard has taken conservative positions on social issues, including abortion and transgender rights. She endorsed Florida's Parental Rights in Education Act, and was a featured speaker at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Yesterday, Tulsi Gabbard resigned from the so-called Democratic Party, officially rejecting all its pomps, works and empty promises. Here is the video of her auto-da-fé.

In case you're having trouble believing your ears, here's the transcript:

I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, demonize the police and protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.

I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite. I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.

We forgive you, Tulsi, and welcome you to the fight to Make America Great Again.

Woke judges bend the law to excuse non-white criminals

It used to be said that there was one law for the rich and one law for the poor. Now it's one law for the white, and one law for the non-white, particularly when it comes to criminal "justice". And, unlike in the 19th and 20th centuries, it's the non-whites who get the benefit of the doubt, or should I say, liberal guilt.

Yesterday, Walt held up the trials of "rap artist" Kodak Black as a horrible example of the reverse racism shown by American prosecutors and judges in dealing with a drug-addled habitual criminal who happens to be as black as  his name. Three Hail Mammies and it's back on the street for Mr Black.

The situation is no better in Canada, the only difference between the American and Canadian "systems" being that it's not just blacks but also Indians First Nations indigenous Canadians who are disproportionately charged, convicted and incarcerated.

This is not because of "systemic racism" as claimed by the SJWs, but because it is the BIPOCs are responsible for way more than their share of serious crime, particularly violent crime. They do the crime, so they have to do the time. But now, our sometimes-resident legal beagle, Agent 3, reports a recent example of activist judges bending the laws of the land to achieve equity and "social justice". In other words, to let BIPOCs of the hook easily.

Late last month, the Ontario Court of Appeal ruled, in the precedent-setting case of Regina v. King, that the criminal records of Indigenous Persons can be excluded from their trials to "preserve fairness."

Dale Burningsky King, pictured, was found to have fatally shot Yosif Al-Hasnawi [What part of Ireland was he from? Ed.] in Hamilton ON in 2017. Both men were 19 at the time.

Mr Al-Hasnawi was a medical student. Mr King was a daily user and dealer in methamphetamine. On the way, with a friend, to a meth sale, Mr King had an "interaction" with an older man on the street where Mr Al-Hasnawi, unarmed, was gathered with his brothers getting fresh air during an event at a mosque.

Mr Al-Hasnawi called out to Mr King [a friendly greeting, perhaps? Ed.] and Mr King and his friend approached. After some "talking", the friend punched Mr Al-Hasnawi and the two ran off. Mr Al-Hasnawi gave chase, until Mr King shot him in the stomach.

Mr King claimed self-defence and was ultimately acquitted of second degree murder. The appeal court agreed with this result. On appeal the Crown objected to the fact that part of King’s lengthy criminal record was suppressed at trial. The trial judge had reasoned that this was fair because of "systemic discrimination" against indigenous people and (of course) Mr King's "lived experience" -- the latest buzzphrase -- of family separation, transience, addiction and abuse. The trial judge felt disclosure of Mr King's full criminal record could prejudice the jury against him due to "racial stereotyping", so kept some of it out.

Ontario's top court thinks what the trial judge did -- creating race-based procedural rules to make up for the supposed effects of systemic racism -- was fair and just. It was not. In Canada, just as in the US of A, justice is no longer colour-blind. Softening laws which are supposed to apply to everybody, regardless of race, colour or creed, creates two "justice" systems -- one for whites and another for all the minorities who have been oppressed for centuries by the evil white colonialists. It isn't fair.

Black crime in America, by the numbers

Know this guy? He's a rap artiste who goes by the name of Kodak Black. Some "musicians" have a harder time than others staying on the right side of the law than others. In the South Florida hip-hop scene, Kodak Black is one of the more frequent offenders. Born Dieuson Octave in Pompano Beach FL, has a record (bad pun intended) as long as your arm, which I'll synopsize here to make a point.

According to Wikipedia, from 2015 to 2016, Mr Black/Octave has been arrested for assault, robbery, kidnapping, driving with a suspended licence, armed robbery, battery, false imprisonment of a child, possession of cannabis, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and fleeing from officers.

In August of 2016, he appeared in court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Atlantic Records Vice-President (((Michael Kushner))) told the court he "has a bright future as a recording artist." After pleading no contest to all charges, he was placed on house arrest for one year, had five years' probation, was to perform community service as required, and take anger management classes.

In September of 2016, Kodak Black pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges and was sentenced to four months in jail. He was credited for time spent in custody awaiting trial and was required to serve 120 days. He was also suspended from driving for one year.

He was released from jail in Florida, and was then transported to Florence SC to face charges of sexual assault. The victim testified that she had attended a February 2016 performance by Kodak Black, after which she accompanied him to his hotel room where he is alleged to have told her he "couldn't help himself" as he tore off her clothes, bit her repeatedly, and raped her as she screamed for help.

After posting a $100,000 bond, Mr Black was released from custody on 1 December 2016. He returned to court on 8 February 2017, after being arrested again for violation of his probation. In April of 2017, Kodak Black was indicted by a grand jury in South Carolina, and was scheduled to go on trial in April 2019 in Florence, South Carolina on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. This was later postponed.

Also in April 2017, he appeared in court in Florida, where his anger management counsellor spoke about him disrupting her class, by constantly burping, even after he was asked to leave. When the counsellor threatened to call 9-1-1, he grabbed her phone and her wrist. Being a good liberal, she recommended that Mr Black participate in individual, rather than group. On 4 May 2017, he was sentenced for violating his house arrest to 364 days in the Broward County Jail, with the possibility of an early release if he completes a "life skills" course. He was released on one month later.

In January of 2018, Kodak Black was arrested inside of his Pembroke Pines FL home on multiple charges stemming from an Instagram live-feed video showing him passing marijuana and a gun around a small child. He initially faced seven felony charges including child neglect, grand theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and marijuana possession. On 22 February 2018, three charges were dropped, and he pleaded not guilty to the remaining two. On 17 April, he was sentenced to 364 days in prison with credit for time served. He was released on 18 August 2018.

Mr Black/Octave cooled it for a few months in Canada, to which he was admitted in spite of his criminal record. Then, on 17 April 2019, he was arrested by United States Customs and Border Protection after border authorities found marijuana and a Glock in his car. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of marijuana. A week, while he was out on bail and on tour, the FBI and Boston cops searched one his tour buses [plural? Ed.] in which they found weapons. Kodak didn't get pinched on that one because it was "unclear" whether or not the bus was actually his.

They got him on 11 May, though, when Miami and federal officers arrested him on state and federal firearm charges, plus two counts of making a false statement on a governmental form, apparently stemming from his attempt to purchase firearms in January. He filed to use his $600,000 home as collateral for his $500,000 bond for the indictments and was granted the bond, being released. He reportedly faced up to ten years in prison on the charges, and pleaded not guilty on 15 May.

Federal prosecutors, however, attempted to revoke Kodak Black's bail, pointing to past violent crimes, such as a 2012 carjacking incident, and his possible connections to a shooting in March of 2019. The arrest had the potential to cause his bond in the 2016 South Carolina rape case to be revoked. Federal prosecutors stated that he posed a danger to society [Imagine dat! Ed.] due to his long history of criminal acts as well as his repeated violation of past probation rules.

[How much more is there? Ed.] Still quite a bit. On 11 March 2020, Kodak Black pleaded guilty to a firearms possession charge related to his detention at the Canada-US border. The court considered a sentence of 2 to 7 years, to run concurrently with his 46-month sentencing for lying on federal paperwork. On 19 January 2021, President Trump commuted the sentence for the 2020 conviction, but he still faced the Florence SC charges. On 28 April 2021, Kodak pled guilty to a lesser charge of first degree assault and battery, and was sentenced to 18 months probation.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's still more... A couple of months later, Kodak failed a drug test, which was a violation of his supervised release terms. He was subsequently ordered by a judge to enter a rehab centre for 90 days, from which he was discharged in December.

Sure enough, on New Year's Day 2022, Kodak was arrested in Pompano Beach FL for trespassing. This past July 15th, his vehicle was stopped by Florida Highway Patrol because the window tint appeared darker than the legal limit. His driver’s license and vehicle tag were also expired. Police detected a smell of marijuana and searched the vehicle, finding a bag with 31 oxycodone tablets and almost $75,000 in cash. He was charged with trafficking in oxycodone and possession of a controlled substance, and on 20 July was placed on house arrest, having violated the terms of his supervised release.

Kodak Black is by way of being a poster child for the criminal stereotype of Black (or African-American or the current PC term) males, i.e. that they are all dangerous criminals. About the only thing Mr Black hasn't been found guilty of, so far, is murder.

The origin of this stereotype is the fact that as a demographic, black men are proportionally over-represented in the numbers of those that are arrested and convicted for committing crimes. In 2015, according to official FBI statistics, 51.1% of people arrested for homicide were black, even though blacks account for just 13.4% of the total population of the US of A. That is the source of the 13/52 meme which is now derided liberals as a white supremacist excuse for anti-black racism.

But those are 2015's figures, right? Surely things have improved since then, with progressive Democrats in the White House and in control of Congress. Right? Errr, no. In 2021, blacks accounted for 60.4% of known murder offenders -- a new record for black dominance of murders, up from a record 56.5% in 2020.

You can argue until you're blue [or red? Ed.] in the face about the reasons for this phenomenon, but the fact is that the new meme is 13/60! Nothing can be done to solve the problem of deadly black crime problem until the liberals admit the errors of their ideology, and face up to the truth.

Note from Ed.: Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith, pictured above, are both of the coloured persuasion, and both describe themselves as rap artists.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to our Canadian readers

Why do Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October, a good six weeks ahead of the American holiday. Is it because the Canucks invented Thanksgiving? Or is it just that they have less to be thankful for? Whatever the reason,

Walt [and Ed! Ed.] would like to wish Poor Len
and all our Canadian friends and readers
(we hope you are one and the same)
a Happy Thanksgiving!

Look to the south and count your blessings!

True Stuff Dept.: Suspicions about politicians confirmed

Later this month, municipal elections will be held in beautiful (it really is!) Wellington County ON. "Vote for" signs are already marring the landscape. These two were spotted by an assiduous reader, and submitted to Walt's ongoing "True Stuff" competition.

All credit to Ms Flake and Mr Liebig for standing for election, in spite of their names. Walt wishes them Well ington (geddit?) Thanks to our reader, and don't forget to vote!

Populist conservative woman to lead Alberta further to the right

Earlier this week, I told you we don't normally discuss regional/local politics. Monday's Québec election had significance beyond the borders of la Belle Province, so we made an exception. We do so again for last night's election of Danielle Smith as the new leader of Alberta's so-called United Conservative Party, and thus the new premier of Canada's most America-like province.

Alberta is Canada's version of Texas, complete with flatlands, hoodoos, rodeos, cowboys and Indians. [Plus 1000s of Ukrainians! Ed.] Like Texas, Alberta's wealth comes in petro-dollars. People proudly drive gaz-guzzling pickups and SUVs. And they dislike the eastern elites and the federal government, especially when the two are combined in a nether orifice named Trudeau.

From 1935 to 2015, Alberta was governed by conservative parties, sometimes named Social Credit, sometimes Conservative. About 15 years ago, the Conservatives started fighting amongst themselves -- as conservatives do all too often -- about who was the more conservative, and a number of splinter parties were born, including the Wildrose Party (the wildrose is Alberta's provincial flower), whom Danielle Smith ran in 2009. She rejoined the Conservative Party in 2014.

A year later, against a divided -- right and righter -- opposition the "social democratic" (read: pinko) NDP took power, under Rachel Nutley, Alberta's first female premier. In response, a confirmed bachelor named Jason Kenney, who had been a minister in Steve Harpoon's Conservative federal government, succeeded in uniting the right in a new(ish) United Conservative Party, which defeated the NDP in the 2019 election.

Alas for Mr Kenney, the UCP didn't stay united very long. Mr Kenney was seen by many for what he was -- a member of that same eastern elite. When he went along with the Trudeau government's vaccine mandates and other measures to curtail individual freedom, and failed to stand up to the Liberals' attacks on the oil and gas industry, Albertans decided they'd had enough.

Mr Kenney resigned the leadership of the UCP this past May after receiving only 51.4% in a leadership review vote, thus setting the stage for yesterday's election.

Danielle Smith won a fiercely-fought contest on the strength of her promise to enact an Alberta Sovereignty Act, which would allow the Alberta government to not enforce federal laws.

Mr Kenney called the idea "nuts". The proposed act is likely unconstitutional, but it's the kind of thing that Albertans, whose grievances are valid and run deep, want their leaders to do.

It would be the legislative equivalent of the now-ubiquitous "Fuck Trudeau!" flags seen across the real Canada, outside the immigrant cities of Vancouver, Montréal and (above all) Toronto.

One can argue that Mr Socks' Liberals are not to blame for the initial crash of the oil economy, which started before they took office. However, they have worked, and are still working almost single-mindedly to undermine any recovery.

They started with the cancellation of the Northern Gateway pipeline, then introduced several anti-energy policies, including Bill C-69, which makes approving resource projects more cumbersome, a tanker ban off British Columbia;s northern coast and the hated carbon tax.

The result has been a significant decline in the fortunes of average Albertans. Any successful Alberta politician understands what has happened in Wildrose Country, and why. The Liberals and socialists are whistling past the graveyard when they mock the more hard-edged elements of Danielle Smith's message. A slightly more moderate version of her campaign will almost certainly resonate with large numbers of  voters in the next Alberta election, due on or before 29 May 2023. The Conservative Party of Canada, under its new leader, Pierre Poilievre, will be taking notes.

UPDATED: Didn't this guy die, or at least retire?

It was kind of a boring day for yr obdt servant. Only 32 days until the mid-terms and all is (more or less) quiet on the political scene. American meeja are preoccupied with Ian, which is only right. So I've been surfing the net and came across the following item, which I repost, verbatim, from Canada's Global (sic) TV News.

To set this up, I need to explain that the Canucks used to call the equivalent of the US State Department the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. When Blackie McBlackface came to power in 2015, the name was changed to "Global Affairs Canada", a clear statement of his support for George Soros' globalist agenda.

Like all the other departments of the Liberal government, Global Affairs pays lip service to equity, inclusiveness, diversity, yada yada yada. But as with snivel servants, especially political appointees, everywhere, the performance rarely lives up to the rhetoric.

Spoiler alert! You have to read through to the fourth paragraph to discover the gender of the "executive" found guilty of numerous acts of workplace harassment. Once you know that, you'll know why the "executive" was promoted, rathen than fired.

The watchdog for the federal public service has ruled that Global Affairs Canada committed "gross mismanagement" in the way it dealt with complaints about a senior employee accused of throwing objects, mocking colleagues and even pushing and slapping someone.

The report from Joe Friday, the public sector integrity commissioner, tabled in Parliament Thursday said an earlier internal investigation by the department also found the executive director yelled in the workplace and once introduced a team member as a "terrorist colleague." The report concluded the department mishandled its response to the complaints, including by promising an action plan that was never put into place.

It said Global Affairs Canada promoted the executive, despite continued insults against staff, including comments about someone’s weight and once referring to a training session as a “concentration camp” while speaking with a Jewish colleague. The report said the executive testified during the investigation by the public sector integrity commissioner that she took the earlier findings seriously and was working hard to change, but the probe examined evidence suggesting the behaviour had continued.

The executive could not be reached for comment Thursday, and a man who answered the phone at her home said she is out of the country. Global Affairs Canada responded to the report by saying it will launch a fresh disciplinary process, assess the work climate in the branch involved and reinforce ethics training. "We are committed to working diligently to implement the recommendations that will assist in improving workplace health and well-being," spokeswoman Anabel Lindblad wrote Thursday.

She said that means making sure staff undergo mandatory training and that follow policies on respect, whether they’re in Canada or abroad. "Global Affairs Canada strives to create a culture that protects psychological health, safety and well-being in all aspects of the workplace through collaboration, inclusivity and respect. That includes avoiding hateful and antisemitic comments in all circumstances."

UPDATE (and WOW!) ADDED at 1830: Ed. no sooner posted this than we got a call from Agent 3, who said that for some reason, Global News didn't give the name of the "executive". But the National Post did! To wit: Latifa Belmahdi subjected employees and co-op students to years of  "repetitive and sustained" degrading comments and insults, physical abuse and inappropriate jokes, report finds.

Imagine that! Now all we need is something like a photo so we can determine which boxes on the diversity checklist -- race? religion? -- were checked when Ms Belmahdi was hired. I wonder... if "the executive" had been a straight white male (said to be an endangered species at Global Affairs), would he have been treated differently? Errr, could be!

Note from Ed.: "Joe Friday" is really the name of the investigator who blew the whistle of the unnamed executive's misconduct. Walt wouldn't make up something like that! Mr Friday's rank was not given.

VIDEO: Canuck MP tells Trudeau: "Enough with the woke shit!"

Canadians generally are reputed to be mild-mannered, inoffensive, slow to anger, and quick to apologize. "Sorry" is the second-most common word in the Canuck vocabulary, after "eh".

For this reason, debates in Canada's Parliament, although sometimes raucous, are subject to rules of parliamentary order, which include the prohibition of "unparliamentary language". Words which may not be uttered in the House of Commons or Senate include the nine Anglo-Saxon monosyllables, plus "Justinflation" and "Chief Walking Goose" (a reference to the Prime Minister being so full of shit that he can't walk.)

Yesterday, the Hon. Michelle Rempel Garner, the Conservative Member of Parliament for the Alberta riding of Calgary Nose Hill [Seriously? Ed.] couldn't stand the Liberal bullshit any more, and said so during the House of Commons Question Period. Listen up.

Being a good Canadian, Ms Rempel Garner apologized immediately. Many Canucks feel the apology was unnecessary. Me too! Tell it straight, Michelle, and tell it again!

Québec election: Anti-immigration sentiment propels CAQ to landslide

Ed. here. Normally we don't cover regional/local politics, but yesterday's election in the province of Québec has implications for all of Canuckistan, so we pressed our National Sports Editor, Poor Len Canadien, into service to analyse the result. Over to you, Len.

Tank youse, Hed. Hier soir au Centre Bell [Len? Len! The election, Len. Not the hockey game! Ed.]

Oh... yeah... Well... Four years and two days ago, François Legault led his fledgling Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), theretofore barely a blip in the polls, to a surprise victory over the Québec establishment, winning a majority of the seats in the Assemblée Nationale to form a new government.

The CAQ government made good on his promises, passing a number of controversial laws, including Bill 21 on the secularization of the state, which bars public school teachers and government officials in positions of authority from wearing religious symbols, including headgear. The law also denies fully veiled Muslim women access to health care and other government services.

The very first major piece of legislation passed by the CAQ on coming to power drastically reduced the number of immigrants admitted to Quebec, and requires them to provide evidence that they have learned democratic values and Quebec values.

Last May, M Legault's government passed into law Bill 96, which reinforces the primacy of French, "the official and common language of Québec", making it the only official language of la Belle Province.

All these measures were condemned by English-speaking federal and provincial politicians, the lickspittle media and all progressive thinkers, including Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface, as reactionary, xenophobic, divisive, discriminatory, anti-immigrant, chauvinistic, and (of course) racist. But the Québécois approved overwhelmingly, and the CAQ was almost universally predicted to win a second term in Monday's election.

So last night's result came as no surprise. The only shock was the extent of M Legault's re-election triumph. With most polls reporting (as of 0100 today, EDT), the Coalition Avenir Québec had bagged 89 seats (out of 125) in the Assemblée Nationale, 13 more than they started with, and close to the contemporary record established in 1989.

Both Radio Canada and TVA predicted a CAQ majority within 10 minutes of the closing of the polls at 2000. The only question for the rest of the evening was who would form the official opposition and how many seats would be left for the other three parties. In the end the once-mighty Liberals retained the title with 21 seats, six less than they had when the legislature was dissolved.

It is noteworthy that the Liberals, led by a Woman of Colour who grew up in Haïti, slipped to fourth place in the popoular vote, behind the Parti Québecois and socialist Québec Solidaire. That they got so many seats is due to the concentration of their support in Montréal, where their candidates were elected in predominantly English-speaking, Jewish and immigrant-majority ridings. The Liberals failed to elect a single candidate outside of the Montréal-Laval region. One commentator said (repeatedly), "There are  now two Québecs."

At the outset of the campaign, Premier Legault proclaimed immigration a key ballot issue. He implored voters to give him a clear majority so he would be in a strong position to demand the federal government cede to the province all but exclusive control over immigration. In a speech to the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, M Legault said it would be "suicidal" for the Quebec "nation" to increase its intake of immigrants since they are responsible for the decline of French.

This followed earlier remarks in which the Premier associated immigrants with crime and violence, and suggested they were a threat to Quebec values. CAQ Immigration Minister Jean Boulet was forced to apologize after stating in a radio debate, "80 per cent of immigrants go to Montreal, do not work, do not speak French or do not adhere to the values of Quebec society."

M Legault responded by saying M Boulet had "disqualified" himself from the position of Immigration Minister if the CAQ retained power. Note the careful wording. M Boulet remained the CAQ candidate in the riding of Trois-Rivières, which he won handily, and will probably remain in cabinet, just not in the immigration portfolio.

This photo, of Mounties welcoming "asylum-seekers" (fleeing the racist USA!) at Roxham Road, near Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC, illustrates perfectly the unfettered mass migration which Québécois reject. Since 2017, thousands of these "refugees" have crossed the US-Canada border illegally at this "unofficial" point of entry.

A recent Radio-Canada investigation revealed that the Just In Trudeau's ultra-woke government has spent half a billion dollars on infrastructure and services at the border crossing, to accommodate these illegal aliens in the name of "diversity".

Québec Conservative Party leader Eric Duhaime (whose party won 0 seats in yesterday's election) condemned illegal immigration and raised the idea of building a wall along the border. Imagine that! M  Duhaime’s rejection of illegal immigration is shared by the vast majority of Québécois outside of Montréal.

Over the last 15 years, as more and more "refugees" who cannot and will not be assimilated into Québec society have flooded into the province, people have become fed up with unreasonable accommodations being made for religious and racial minorities.

Call it "white supremacy" or "nationalism" or whatever you like, but the people of Québec, like those of France, Italy and even the American heartland are uniting against multilingualism, multiculturalism and the New World Order. There should be a lesson in that for politicians in TROC (The Rest of Canada). Whether they, especially Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives, will wake up and smell the coffee remains to be seen.

Ratings death awaits new woke Family Guy

You read it here first. Walt predicts Family Guy will be cancelled at the end of the current season. Now I'll tell you why.

I watched the latest episode last night. The plot was this. Lois sees the Browns having a family fun day, and decides the Griffins need to do that. They try card games and a make-your-own-pizza party. No fun. So they decide to have a movie night, with videos from Blockbuster. But the last remaining Blockbuster in the USA is in Bend OR, so the family goes on a road trip

That, right there, is your cue to start the death watch for Family Guy. It's turned into a wholesome Norman Lear sitcom! No-one, with the possible exception of Blockbuster [Do they still exist? Ed.] could be offended. And no-one laughs either.

Think about it, fans. It's 2022 in Brandon's America. Humor is forbidden. Nothing's funny anymore, because nothing is allowed to be funny. Consider this list of Family Guy characters we used to laugh at (or laugh with), who have disappeared or been reduced to minor roles, all in the name of political correctness.

Stewie Griffin - Once a precocious but malicious baby who was a central part of most shows, he has now become snarky but cute and loveable. He used to be best friends with Brian, the dog, the only one who understood him, and they had many excellent adventures together. Now Stewie only gets one or two one-liners per show, when he appears at all.

Brian Griffin - Once so popular that an attempt to kill him off flopped, and he had to be brought back from the dead. Like Stewie, Brian is no longer a central character. Maybe it's because we don't make fun of alcoholics. More likely, it's because he was a parody of progressive pseudo-intellectuals, who are people we must now take seriously.

Brian has a cousin, Jasper, who we no longer see or hear about, because Jasper is as gay as 18 balloons. The choices people make as to their gender identity are not to be mocked any more.

Glenn Quagmire - A resolutely heterosexual sex fiend and chicken-hawk, who is not an appropriate role model for middle-aged men. No more "Giggidy giggidy goo!"

Joe Swanson - Also playing a much-reduced role. How could anyone stoop so low as to make fun of persons who are differently-abled?! For the same reason, we no longer see or hear Angela, Peter's deaf co-worker at the brewery. Ditto Opie, who is not deaf but... errr... [you can't use the R-word! Ed.]

Then there are the gay characters, who only make cameos now that it's normal to be gay, like Bruce Straight (pictured, since some of you may not recognize his name). Bruce is a caricature of the sad, middle-aged homo who should be loved, not shunned, for his contributions to the community. You may know someone like him in your community, perhaps a Boy Scout leader or a priest.

John Herbert is a 90-year-old pederast, profiled on WWW almost eight years ago.  He used to be the Griffins' neighbour. I never heard that he'd moved, but somehow we no longer see him. Perhaps that's because pedophilia isn't funny. Indeed, some progressive thinkers argue that there's nothing wrong with it.

Other faces on the cutting-room floor are those of the (((Goldmans))). Muriel, the wife of pharmacist Mort Goldman, died a couple of years back, but Mort still had his drugstore, and his son Neil, was still trying to get a date with Meg, or anybody at Adam West High School. But we must now recognize that anti-Semitism is a lingering and serious problem in our society, so Jewish stereotypes are no longer permissible.

Speaking of stereotypes, Walt wonders what became of Consuela, pictured at top. It was never clear whether or not Consuela was a legal immigrant or an "undocument migrant". Notice I didn't say "illegal alien", let alone "wetback". There are no such people any more, so we can't make fun of them.

Seth MacFarlane and his colleagues seem not to have figured out what to do with the Browns, who weren't quite a stereotypical African-American family, in that Cleveland Brown, the father was still present, working to support his wife and children. The Browns live in a neighbour hood which would apparently be all-white, except for them, so they're still regulars.

Jerome is another black stereotype, but a good one. The new owner of the Drunken Clam, he's the successful businessman that we know all black dudes could be if they weren't the victims of slavery, racism and injustice. Even so, we don't see much of him because he's a little too... errr... Black, as we learned in the episode where it was revealed that he once dated Lois.

I could go on [No, you can't. Ed.] OK, let me conclude by observing that with the cancellation of all these characters, what we're left with is the basic Griffin family -- stupid father, smarter mother, and two kids suffering from teenage angst. In other words, a typical American TV family in the Age of Woke. Hence my prediction. Lifetime pct .980.

From our sponsor: The Death of Common Sense, by Philip K. Howard

Our sponsor has just listed for sale a like-new copy of The Death of Common Sense, by American lawyer Philip K. Howard. Published by Warner Books, 1994. Paperback, 215 pp. including index. Sold for US$10.99.

From the cover synopsis:
America is drowning: in law, legality, bureaucratic process. Abandoning our common sense and individual sense of responsibility, we live in terror of the law, in awe of procedure, at war with one another. Philip K. Howard has written the explosive manifesto for liberation -- one of the most talked about sociopolitical treatises of our time.

Citing dozens of examples of bureaucratic overkill -- everything from the labeling of window cleaner as a toxic substance to the US Department of Defense spending $2 billion on travel and $2.2 billion processing the paperwork for that travel -- The Death of Common Sense shows how far we have wandered, how we got into this mess, and how we can -- and must -- get out.

Reparations for Wally!

In the past I have used the term "reparations shopping" to descreibe the shoplifting, theft and looting for which "mostly people protesters" and others are forgiven by guilt-ridden liberals, on the grounds that they (the looters) are "entitled" to some compensation for wrongs done to their ancestors in the distant past.

I mentioned the concept of reparations again last week in "National Be-nice-to-an-Indian Day", WWW 30/9/22. "All right-thinking, progressive (and White) Canucks -- and Americans too -- know that the indigenous peoples of North America were treated badly by the settlers who came across the big waters in their big canoes. Mistakes were made. Apologies have been tendered again and again. All that's needed now is... errr... reparations."

Scott Adams, whose excellent Dilbert comic strip has been dropped by 77 newspapers because he dared to make fun of racial and sexual identities, picked up on the theme in today's strip, in which Attorney Dogbert demands reparations for his client Wally. Walt (no relation to Wally, although there's a certain resemblance) hopes Mr Adams won't mind our reposting it.
