Ed. here (in Walt's absence). This is a follow-up to Poor Len Canayen's last post for the season (?): "Parsing the Montréal Canadiens end-of-season press conference". Seems like Poor Len is not the only one with doubts as to whether alleged defence star P.K. Subban will be (or should be) back in the Habs lineup next fall. In the season finale of the Montreal Gazette's Hockey Inside/Out feature, the panelists -- Stu Cowan, Chris Nilan, Jack Todd and Andie Bennett -- read between the lines delivered by Marc Bergevin and Michel Therrien.
Does Marc Bergevin's job as Habs GM depend on how Michel Therrien handles the team next year? What about the dysfunctional relationship between Therrien and Subban? Is He Who Must Not Be Criticized really a problem in the room? Could he be dealt to another team before his no-trade clause kicks in on July 1st? And would life be easier for captain Max Pacioretty — and would he be a better player — if he didn’t have to wear the "C"? Listen to what the panel has to say.
