Time to build more pipelines from Canada to USA!

Want cheaper gas? You gotta have cheap, reliable oil. Where ya gonna get it?

Hey, Canada has cheap oil. Too bad it's way up there in the Great No-longer-white North. Too bad a decade of misgovernment by the Liberal government of Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface (featuring cabinet members such as Climate Barbie and nutty Steve Guilbeault) focused on keeping the oil in the ground. Seriously, that was there avowed policy and they stuck to it.

American politicians are just as much to blame. One of the first things Demented Joe Biden did after he stole the 2020 election was to reaffirm the Obama kibosh on the Keystone XL project which was going to allow billions of gallons of crude to be shipped from Alberta to Texas, on demand.

Then there was Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, who actually sued Enbridge because she was afraid their Line 5, which transports up to 540,000 barrels per day of light crude oil and natural gas liquids from Superior WI to Sarnia ON, crossing the Straits of Mackinac, might spring a leak.

It's that kind of climate alarmism, not to mention 1000s of pages of regulations and 1000s of miles of red tape, that keeps energy companies from going to full-out to provide Americans and Canadians with the oil and gas we need. Next time you're asked to vote, be guided by this photo -- not AI-generated -- of how some people coped with a previous shortage of the fuel that makes us go.

SCOTUS unanimously backs deportation of failed asylum-seekers

Douglas Humberto Urias-Orellana, his wife Sayra Iliana Gamez-Mejia, and their minor child are citizens of El Salvadoran who entered the US of A "without authorization" -- read: illegally -- in 2021, then claimed asylum.

An Immigration Judge (IJ) denied their applications and ordered their removal -- read: deportation -- determining that they had neither demonstrated past "persecution" nor established a "well-founded fear" of future "persecution" as required under the Immigration and Nationality Act.

After unsuccessfully challenging their removal order with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Latinx sought review in federal court. The Court of Appeals affirmed the BIA’s ruling, holding that "substantial evidence" supported the agency's determination that there was not a reasonable fear of persecution, and the family should therefore be deported.

But Sr Urias-Orellana did not give up so easily. Funded by American taxpayers, he and his wife and child appealed all the way to the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). Much to his chagrin -- and the surprise of the supporters of open borders -- SCOTUS, in a decision released yesterday, unanimously affirmed the judgment of the Court of Appeals.

Ironically, the 9-0 decisiion was written by the court's most left-wing judge, Biden appointee Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. It will be now used to handcuff liberal judges who want to help the growing number of migrants who lose their asylum pleas at the Justice Department.

The unanimous in Urias–Orellana v. Bondi is a win for the Trump administration. It means that millions of migrants will face even tougher pressure to leave the United States, especially after they are arrested by ICE.

It will be a big help to those charged with stemming the flood of illegal immigrants as they try to boost the number of self-deportations and ICE deportations. In December, 38% of the migrants detained by ICE chose to go home rather than file lawsuits to stay in the United States. Walt hopes those that are still here are paying attention!

The wrong way to do it
I'll tell you who's not listening. In a story headlined, "Failed asylum seeker families to be offered up to £40k to leave UK", the BBC reports that families of failed asylum seekers will be offered up to £40,000 to leave the Disunited Kingdom under a trial scheme announced today.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood [What part of Ireland do you think she's from? Ed.] said the leftist Labour government would seek to forcibly remove failed asylum seekers if they do not accept "incentive payments" of up to £10,000 per person, capped at four per family, within seven days.

The scheme is expected to target about 150 families living in taxpayer-funded accommodation, and the Home Office estimates it could save £20 million if successful. However, the Conservatives and Reform UK said the payments would incentivise people to come to the UK illegally.

Hey libtard! Got your new flag yet? Karen's got hers!

PPC leader Max Bernier asks tough questions about illegal immigration

Contrary to rumours being spread by Canada's controlled media -- not just the state-owned public broadcaster but every major fake newspaper -- the People's Party of Canada is still alive and still fighting for real Canadian values to be reflected in federal government policy.

In particular, they are the only federal party taking a hard line against illegal immigration: third-worlders crossing Canuckistan's porous borders, overstaying student and work visas, and avoiding deportation by crying "refugee".

Two million "temporary" residence permits are set to expire this year, and almost no-one is talking about what happens next. The plan being quietly advanced by the governing Liberal Party of Marx Carnage is to eliminate the backlog of refugee and asylum claims by a process of "mass regularization". That's Liberal-speak for letting them all stay,  no questions asked.

In this video, PPC leader Maxime Bernier speaks out against this secret plan, and asks whether or not Canada's laws actually mean anything.

The Plain People of Canada: What abouth yon Parti Québécois, then?

Hey, we said the PPC is the only federal party expressing Canadians' anger about uncontrolled illegal immigration. Things are different at the provincial level, when you get closer to the grass roots. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is at daggers drawn with the federal government, demanding that her province (Canada's version of Texas) have the right to enforce immigration laws and boot out those they don't like.

And in la Belle Province du Québec, at a time when support for Quebec separatism has reached one of the lowest ebbs of the last 50 years, voters seem about to hand the government over to le Parti Québécois, the province's historical standard-bearer for secession, now seen as "the most successful anti-woke party in Canada". That's PQ leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon in the picture, giving The Salute. All good liberals know what that means, eh!

The PQ may simply be the most conspicuous beneficiary of a Canada-wide backlash to high immigration, racial hiring quotas, and the various other trappings of what the French call "wokisme". We don't need to translate, do we?

The party’s official immigration policy pledges to cap new immigrants at 35,000 per year, to place a permanent moratorium on "economic immigration", and to pursue "automation" and "roboticization" to lessen Quebec's dependence on immigrant labour.

M St-Pierre Plamondon has been a heterodox voice on cultural issues ever since becoming PQ leader in 2020. That year, he criticized the Montréal Canadiens' decision (since reveresed) to open home games with the vomit-inducing "Indigenous land acknowledgement", stating that it was inaccurate to characterize Montréal as sitting on top of "unceded" land.

Also in 2020, he was one of the few Canadian politicians to publicly question a federally driven push towards accusing Canadian institutions of "systemic racism". Then prime minister Blackie McBlackface had called "systemic racism...an issue right across the country, in all our institutions, including in all our police forces." But M St-Pierre Plamondon joined Québec Premier François Legault in questioning the claim's core tenet that any differential outcome among races was ipso facto evidence of racism.

In his first press conference after becoming PQ leader, M Plamondon said he wanted specific examples of discriminatory policies, rather than just blanket government declarations that everything was racist, "so we can come up with solutions that are connected to the diagnosis, rather than say it's out there, in the system." He added, "there is no doubt in my mind that the concept of systemic racism should not be taught in our secondary schools."

The Laurentian elites may be tut-tutting and crying "racisme", but pure-laine Canadiens are listening, and flocking to the Parti Québécois.  Suddenly, M St-Pierre Plamondon’s more heterodox positions suddenly aren't all that controversial. In late 2024, he publicly denounced the very idea of wokeism. He defined wokeism it as a political strategy of using guilt and disinformation in order to impose a political agenda through brute force.

On "Tout le monde en parle", Québec's most-watched talk show, he said that one signature technique of the wokesters is "the use of the words 'racist', 'intolerance', and 'phobe' to silence opponents." But, he said, "We can serve justice and we can serve equity without insulting and intimidating others."

Canada needs more political leaders like Max Bernier, Danielle Smith and Paul St-Pierre Plamondon. Let those who are afraid to speak out strongly for fear of being called "racist" etc take note.

Inevitably... Canada's version of Amelia appears... and welcome!

Canucks are always a bit slow on the uptake.

UPDATED: Who allowed this jihadi wannabe into the USA?

Further to "'Allahu akbar!' in Austin TX" (WWW 1/3/26), we now have a photo (scraped from the New York Post) and more information on 53-year old Ndiaga Diagne, the black follower of the Prophet who shot up a bar in Austin TX on Sunday, killing two people and wounding 14 others.

The authorities are still "investigating" Mr Diagne's motives for the shooting -- apparently the slogan on his T-shirt isn't conclusive -- but haven't been able to suppress the truth about his identity and background.

The murderer is a former resident of the Big Apple. He arrived in the US of A on a tourist visa on 13 March 2000, during the Clinton administration, and became a lawful permanent resident when he married an American citizen [possibly white? named Karen? Ed.] in June 2006.

In spite of several arrests over the next 6+ years, Mr Diagne became a naturalized US citizen on 5 April 2013, around the start of former President Barack Hussein Obama's second term. Before yesterday's bloody massacre, he was known to authorities in both New York and Texas as an emotionally disturbed person. We await information about licences he may have had for the firearms with which he killed.

Yes indeed. But it seems half of Americans haven't realized that yet.

UPDATE ADDED at 1250 FMT: Breitbart News reports these details, passed to CBS news by "an undisclosed source".

"On Sunday, investigators executed a search warrant on the Pflugerville, Texas home of Ndiaga Diagne, the deceased gunman responsible for the deadly Austin shooting that occurred earlier in the day. According to a source familiar with the investigation, law enforcement officials found an Iranian flag and photos of leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran during a search of the home."

Walt asks: Is that enough now? Can we now say that the massacre was an act of Islamic terrorism?

I hate to be "that guy" but... about the US, Israel and Armageddon

We don't like to repost our own stuff but as the American-Israel war on Iran enters its fourth day we can't help but think that we've seen this movie before. Or maybe this is just the latest version of the long-running franchise.

Let's rewind to "Scrapping the Iran deal: another milepost on the road to Armageddon", WWW 10/5/18. To save you clicking on the link [but go ahead if you want! Ed.], the main point of that post was that President Trump was right to scrap the Obama deal with Iran.

He did that because "Iran is a danger to us, to our allies, to freedom. We stand alongside you in ending the dangerous appeasement of Iran and making all and any action required to stop Iran going nuclear, help its people, halt its spreading of terror and achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and among all peoples and nations."

Inevitably, the Democrats, liberals and one-worlders disagreed with Mr Trump. The Prez called the decision to screap the Iran deal "misguided". The deal was negotiated on his watch and he took credit for it, as befits the winner of a Nobel Peace. What else would he say.

Walt wrote: What the doves never explained was why, if the Iran deal was such a great game-changer, peace didn't break out in the Middle East the minute it was signed. The object was to prevent Iran from developing a nuculer (giving it the American pronunciation) weapon, and stop them from mucking around in Syria and other Muslim civil wars -- Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, etc etc -- by bringing them (Iran) back into the world economic community. So how did that work out?

The Prez and all the other one-world, appease-the-Muslim wienies have responded to POTUS' decision to scrap the Iran nuke deal by saying that his decision has moved us closer than ever to a full-scale war, yea a veritable nuclear holocaust! So if the Middle East explodes, it's all Trump's fault. Right?

Errr, no. My point was that we were on the road to Armageddon well before the Iran deal! See "
3 portents of the coming Armageddon", WWW 26/8/14. Scrapping the deal makes no difference other than to immanentize the eschaton.

The years passed. The Biden interregnum brought was marked by the ignominious retreat from Afghanistan and other triumphs of Democratic diplomacy. The Iranians, emboldened by the defeat of the Trumpster, carried on with their nuclear program and with raising Islamic terrorist hell in the Middle East and around the world.

Now the Donald is back in the White House and can see that the mad mullahs who rule Iran are just as keen as ever on destroying the "Zionist entity" to their south -- note the direction: it's important! -- and imposing their brand of the Religion of Peace(TM), complete with Sharia Law, on the Middle East and however much more of the world the craven Western powers allow.

Time now to explain why we're naming this version of the old movie "The Road to Armageddon". Here's a Biblical (DRV) reference: "And the Lord saidto me: From the north shall an evil break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. Jeremias 1:14 (DRV).

Now take a look at a map of the Middle East.  If the "families of the kingdoms of the north" come once again to attack the gates of Jerusalem (1:15), the road they will take goes right past... or through... a little place called Megiddo, indicated with the red marker on the map..

That's "Megiddo" as in "Mount Megiddo", which is not really a mountain but a "tell", a city built on top of a city built on top of another city, and so on for 5000 years. During the Bronze Age, Megiddo was an important Canaanite city-state. During the Iron Age, it was a royal city in the Kingdom of Israel.

Megiddo is mentioned only once in the New Testament of the Bible, but has sixteen mentions in the Old Testament, notably in Chapters 4 and 5 of the book of Judges.

Among the judges, the only female, and the only one to be called a prophet is Deborah (aka Debbora), a decisive figure in the defeat of the Canaanites. This is a victory told in two accounts, a prose narrative in Judges 4 and a poem, known as the Song of Deborah, in Judges 5. At Judges 4:6 "she sent and called Barac...and said to him: The Lord God of Israel hath commanded thee: Go, and lead an army."

And so he did. In the 15th century B.C., God gave the victory at the battle of Megiddo (Judges 5:19) through those who are willing to follow His lead.

For Christians the word Megiddo is synonymous with the end of the world as mentioned in the Apocalypse of Saint John the Apostle (aka Revelation) 16:16. Other battles, besides the one mentioned in Judges, were fought at Megiddo, as recently as World War I.

"Har-Megiddo" (Hebrew for the "mount" of "mountain" of Megiddo) or Armageddon, will be the site of the Final Battle.

At that time, according to Apocalypse 6:1-8 (DRV), God will release onto the world four horsemen -- the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen appear with the opening of the first four of the seven seals that bring forth the cataclysm of the Apocalypse.

The first horseman, a conqueror with a bow and crown, rides a white horse.
The second horseman is given a great sword and rides a red horse, symbolizing war and bloodshed.
The third carries a balance scale, rides a black horse, and symbolizes famine
The fourth horseman rides a pale horse and is identified as Death.

It's hard to look at the events unfolding right now without wondering if the Final Battle has not begun. I'm afraid to repeat my usual "Stay tuned."

VIDEO: "Allahu akbar!" in Austin TX

Earlier today, on NBC’s Meet the Press, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the American military strikes on Iran mean "the mothership of terrorism is sinking." Maybe so, and the sooner the better, but what the powers that be must recognize is that a lot of the crew were safely ashore in the US of A and other Western countries (Hello, Canada!) years ago!

1000s of Islamic terrorists -- jihadi wannabes -- have crossed our countries' porous borders as "asylum-seekers" or "refugees" fleeing the murderous Muslim regimes of the Islamic Republic of Iran and other states of the Middle East and northern Africa.

We welcome them as victims of oppression and treat them to housing, food, medical care and other benefits that our citizens have to work for and taxpayers pay for. Hell, we even give them money for "learing centers" where students learn to shout "Death to America!" and (of course) "Allahu akbar!"

One such is 53-year old Ndiaga Diagne, the black(ish) follower of the Prophet who shot up a bar in Austin TX early this morning, killing two people and wounding 14 others. Check out this video, and after that we'll tell you what the lickspittle media didn't.

What went unreported is that the murderer was wearing a sweatshirt that said "Property of Allah" and another shirt with an Iranian flag design. That's according to an unnamed law enforcement official and "another person familiar with the case", both of whom spoke to AP "on background" because they weren't authorized to tell the whole truth to the American people.

Ndiaga Diagne is originally from Senegal, according to multiple people briefed on the investigation. He is said to have come to the US of A in 2006 -- a winner in the Green Card Lottery perhaps -- and was a naturalized American citizen.

The FBI -- the same folks who said traditional Catholics are potential revolutionaries -- said its joint terrorism task force team members, as well as other specialty teams, were investigating, and that there were "indicators of terrorism" related to the shooting. No shit, Sherlock!

BREAKING: Trump tells Iran "FAFO"

Not a great way to start the day. I was awakened at sparrow fart by the distant whine of the Fort Mudge air raid siren. Seems that Chief Wiggum, who's in charge of the device, had misinerpreted the news flash on the radio and was warning the populace that Iran was attacking the US of A. In fact it's the other way around.

It's actually the mad mullahs who rule the Islamic Republic of Iran who need to keep their eyes to the skies, as President Donald Trump told the Iranian armed forces to lay down their arms or face "certain death." FAFO!

POTUS also urged the Iranian people to rise up and "seize control of your destiny" as "major" joint American-Israeli strikes against Tehran commenced overnight.

Why is this happening? Because, after months of palaver, the Islamists refuse to accept limits on their development of nuclear technology. They say it's for peaceful purposes, because, as is well known, Islam is the Religion of Peace(TM).  American security experts, however, think that the Iranians mean to bring peace to the Middle East by nuking Israel. Just a thought, of course.

Announcing the strikes to eliminate "imminent threats from the Iranian regime" which "directly endangers the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world," President Trump said, "A short time ago, the United States Military began major combat operations in Iran."

The strikes are intended to destroy Iran's stockpiles of missiles and to "obliterate" Iran’s missile production industry, the President said. The intent, he explained,  is to prevent Iranian nuclear-tipped long-range missiles from ever threatening the American mainland or America’s allies in Europe.

This is also about bringing regime change to the Islamic Republic. President Trump called on the armed forces, paramilitary, and police of Iran to lay down their weapons. If they did so they would receive "complete immunity" and be treated fairly, he said, but else would face "certain death".

POTUS also called on the Iranian people to take this opportunity to rise up against the government, stating "the hour of your freedom is at hand" and they would not likely get another second chance. "Stay sheltered," he said, "Don’t leave your home, it’s very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will, probably be your only chance for generations… now is the time to seize control of your destiny."

VIDEO: Taliban fighters being trained by British officers!

Further to our report on the outbreak of hostilities between Pakistan and Afghanistan, we pass along this shocking video, which reveals that British army officers -- the first one shown is a Scot, the second English -- are training the Afghan Taliban for combat!

We don't refer to this as "boot camp" becauase it appears that these soldiers of the Prophet have no boots. Perhaps, after the battle, they will be able to get some off the feet of the other soldiers of the Prophet. Good luck lads!

Muslim civil war flares up again

While we were preoccupied with ICE, Cuba, Epstein and other things closer to home, the followers of the Religion of Peace(TM), having tired (for the moment) of attacking Jews and Christians, have resumed attacking each other.

Pakistan's defence minister said yesterday the country is in "open war" with Afghanistan, after Islamabad launched airstrikes on Kabul as part of a wave of attacks across the country. "Our patience has now run out," said Khawaja Muhammad Asif following the attacks.

The strikes came after the Afghan Taliban [You mean there's more than one Taliban? Ed.] announced a major offensive against Pakistani military posts near the border on Thursday night. Thanks to "Angry_Old_Man_2" at Blazing Cat Fur, we have a photo of Talibaners being trained for the assault.

The latest attacks follow months of clashes between the two neighbouring nations, despite agreeing last October to a ceasefire, which has proven to be more an idea than a reality.

Walt sez: Have at it boys. May the best Muslim win, and may Allah step lightly on your heads.

VIDEO: Is wokeness really dead?

Is the voting public finally losing patience with progressive politics? How real is the anti-woke backlash? Brendan O'Neill, the chief political writer at Spiked (or Sp!ked, if you like) is the author of a new book which tackles these questions.

In, Vibe Shift: The Revolt Against Wokeness, Greenism, and Technocracy, Mr O'Neill.makes the case that across western countries in both North America and Europe, the tide is turning against so-called “wokeism” and that the pendulum is swinging hard the other way. But, he warns, the hydra-headed monster isn't dead yet.

In this video, Mr O'Neill is interviewed by Spiked editor Tom Slater. They discuss how the elites' crazy ideologies are colliding with reality, common sense and public fury. If you can handle the English accents, you'll hear why he believes the common sense of the ordinary people is prevailing over woke politics, but that the left lunacy, although receding, is far from dead.

There's a free speech issue here... indeed, freedom of thought... particularly in Canuckistan, where the Minister of Justice (so-called) announced on Tuesday that the Liberal government of Marx Carnage are ready to limit debate on their bill banning hate symbols, which also removes the religious exemption to some hate speech laws.

Leftist ideology is inherently authoritarian. When moral certainty is paired with institutional power (universities, HR departments, media, professional bodies), dissenting views are treated as not mere disagreement but heresy.

As our old friend Dr Jordan Peterson learned, there are social and/or professional penalties for expressing unpopular views. The consequences of speaking out are such that academics and professionals find that discretion is the better part of value and start censoring themselves.

Disagreement from the prevailing orthodoxy is treated aas a moral defect. Framing complex social issues in binary moral terms -- you're either right (like us) or wrong -- reduces tolerance for ambiguity and gives people kudos for virtue signalling rather than the seeking of pragmatic solutions to problems.

Instead of being treated as individuals, people are now treated as members of identity categories. That's  how we find people "identifying as" a group of initials: L, G, B, T, 2S, POC, and so forth. This actually encourages divisions in society rather than the tolerant multiculturalism which is the stated goal of the ideologues. "Let's all form a circle, hold hands and sing 'Kumbaya'." Not any longer!

Babylon Bee's extended Gavin Newsom pandering joke + VIDEO

This morning we told you we were awaiting the first meme referencing Gavin Newsom's cringeworthy pandering to black Americans while speaking at the Rialto Center for the Arts as part of his book tour... not forgetting his early pitch for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028.

We expected we might have something to show you tomorrow, but the Internet is already awash in jokes, memes and satire. The best one we've seen so far was this, from the great folks at the Babylon Bee.

Democratic Wows Black Audience By Putting Some Hot Sauce In His Purple Drank

ATLANTA, GA — While speaking at the Rialto Center for the Arts as part of promotion for his new memoir, Young Man in a Hurry: A Memoir of Discovery, California Governor Gavin Newsom wowed a black audience by putting some hot sauce into his purple drank.

"See? I'm exactly like you," Newsom said. "It doesn't get more delicious than some hot sauce in your purple drank, am I right? This isn't pandering. Back home, we call this drink a 'Newsom.'"

The audience was surprised by the governor's choice of drink and unsure whether or not he was being genuine. Newsom quickly moved to allay their fears.

"I am not just trying to score points here," he insisted. "We're alike in so many ways. Just like you, I've fathered children I've never met. I've never once changed the batteries in my smoke alarms, no matter how many times they chirp at me. I yell at the screen when I'm at the movies. And, like you, I also perpetrate a disproportionate amount of the crime in my home state. I have a lot in common with you, which is why I'm the perfect political candidate to represent you people."

At the end of his on-stage interview with Atlanta Mayor Andrew Dickens, Newsom then sat down to a plate of fried chicken as he interacted with the crowd directly during a Q&A segment. "Boy, I wish I had some watermelon, am I right, my brothers?" he said.

At publishing time, Newsom was still polling at 90% among black voters.

We trust the folks at BB will forgive us for reposting the entire article. It was just too delicious to be excerpted. If you want to read more excellent satire (with a Christian point of view), click on this link to go to the Babylon Bee home page. If you decide to subscribe, tell `em Walt sent ya!

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! In this episode of "Ed Henry The Big Take", Ed takes a big gulp of vitriol and gives us his take on Governor Newsom's pandering, how his potential replacements for governor are filled with TDS, and more.

As Mr Henry says, Mr Newsom is already back-pedaling as fast as he can, claiming today that he was talking only about his lifelong struggle with dyslexia. We expect expressions of outrage from the lickspittle meeja tomorrow. Hilarity will doubtless ensue.

VIDEO: "Get out of jail free" card - 2026 UK version

Walt hadn't heard of Genesius Times, The Most Reliable Source of Fake News on the Planet, until today. Not the Babylon Bee, but there's some pretty good stuff on there, including this video.

In other news, we await the inevitable Gavin Newsom "I'm a 960 SAT guy" meme. Check back tomorrow.

Your Singhs today (Brampton edition)

It's been a slow day for political news, what with everyone catching their breath following President Trump's announcement of "revenge tariffs" of 10%... wait, 15% on the entire world. But there's always crime news, and you can find it by Googling "Singh+Surrey" or "Singh+Brampton".

The second option led us to a report from the Peel Regional Police, as follows:

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have siezed a firearm following a kidnapping investigation where search warrants were executed in the Brampton area. On Nov. 6, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., the complainant contacted police to advise that a close friend of his had been kidnapped. The accused demanded $200,000 from the complainant stating that if he did not provide the payment they would harm the victim.

Through diligent police work and investigative techniques, the victim was safely located and found to be unharmed. One accused was arrested at the scene, where a .45-calibre firearm was recovered. On Feb. 13, 2026, two Criminal Code Search Warrants were executed in Brampton. Further evidence of the offence was located at the scene. One loaded firearm magazine and an unloaded rifle magazine was also located.

Harkirat Singh, a 27-year-old from Brampton [not the Brampton city councillor of the same name]  was charged with the following:
Kidnapping while Using Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm.

Amritpal Singh, a 27-year-old from Brampton was charged with the following:
Kidnapping while Using Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized.

An arrest warrant has been issued for: Hasanpreet Singh, 28- years old of no fixed address will be charged with the following:
Kidnapping while Using Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

What about them mugshots then? Which Singh is which?
Glad you asked, but unfortunately we can't give you a definitive answer. Ed. scraped them from a Canadian Press story published by Global TV News 26/8/21 under the headline "Police arrest 3 men in Brampton, searching for 4th suspect in human trafficking investigation".

The report says that "Amritpal Singh, who is 23, and 22-year-old Harkuwar Singh both face eight charges, including procuring and trafficking a person under the age of 18, forcible confinement and aggravated assault. Twenty-three-year-old Sukhmanpreet Singh is charged with forcible confinement and aggravated assault."

Maddeningly, the write-up doesn't tell us which of the three alleged Sikh criminals is which. But checking the math, Amritpal Singh was 23 in 2021, soooo... 27 in 2026 sounds about right. The Amritpal Singh arrested in 2021 is most likely one and the same as the Amritpal Singh arrested last week.

What we have yet to learn is what happened to Mr Singh between August of 2021 and this winter. Was he brought to trial on the 2021 charges? Was he convicted? Did he do time? And after that was he deported as is supposed to happen in the case of any non-citizen of Canada sentenced to more than 6 months? Or did he claim asylum or refugee status so as to remain in Canada until whenever...

Interesting questions. Don't hold your breath waiting for answers.

VIDEO: Tourism in Zimbabwe: visiting the ruins of Rhodesia

Earlier this month we posted "The truth about Rhodesia - a warning to liberals of the AABC", a video explaining how, in 1980, the British betrayed their kith and kin in Rhodesia, and gave the country, now renamed Zimbabwe over to the Marxist-oriented Comrade Robert Gabriel Mugabe, whose ZANU-PF party has ruled the unfortunate country ever since.

"Majority rule" has turned the once-prosperous (pre-1980) country into the sort of place characterized by President Trump as a "shithole". It has been ruined by ignorance, incompetence and corruption. John Edmonds, In the video, John Edmonds presents a potted history of Zimbabwe, then embarks on a tour to see for himself the ruins of Rhodesia and the reality of the failed state today.

This video too can well be described as a cautionary tale. This is what happens when you hand your country or state (Hello, California!) over to letting loony lefties whose "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" (DEI) agenda is driven by anti-white racism, gender ideology and a complete ignorance of economics. Keep it in mind when you vote.

Key points from Marco Rubio's speech at Munich

United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio made headlines this past weekend with a speech to the Munich Security Conference in which he offered an intellectual framework for the foreign policy of the Trump administration. Here is an excerpt, scraped from the National Post. The emphasis is Walt's.

We gather here today as members of a historic alliance, an alliance that saved and changed the world.

When this conference began in 1963, it was in a nation — actually, it was on a continent — that was divided against itself. The line between communism and freedom ran through the heart of Germany. The first barbed fences of the Berlin Wall had gone up just two years prior.

And just months before that first conference, before our predecessors first met here, here in Munich, the Cuban Missile Crisis had brought the world to the brink of nuclear destruction. Even as World War II still burned fresh in the memory of Americans and Europeans alike, we found ourselves staring down the barrel of a new global catastrophe — one with the potential for a new kind of destruction, more apocalyptic and final than anything before in the history of mankind.

At the time of that first gathering, Soviet communism was on the march. Thousands of years of Western civilization hung in the balance. At that time, victory was far from certain. But we were driven by a common purpose. We were unified not just by what we were fighting against; we were unified by what we were fighting for.

And together, Europe and America prevailed and a continent was rebuilt. Our people prospered. In time, the East and West blocs were reunited. A civilization was once again made whole. That infamous wall that had cleaved this nation into two came down, and with it an evil empire, and the East and West became one again.

But the euphoria of this triumph led us to a dangerous delusion: that we had entered, quote, “the end of history;” that every nation would now be a liberal democracy; that the ties formed by trade and by commerce alone would now replace nationhood; that the rules-based global order — an overused term — would now replace the national interest; and that we would now live in a world without borders where everyone became a citizen of the world.

This was a foolish idea that ignored both human nature and it ignored the lessons of over 5,000 years of recorded human history

We increasingly outsourced our sovereignty to international institutions while many nations invested in massive welfare states at the cost of maintaining the ability to defend themselves. This, even as other countries have invested in the most rapid military buildup in all of human history and have not hesitated to use hard power to pursue their own interests.

To appease a climate cult, we have imposed energy policies on ourselves that are impoverishing our people, even as our competitors exploit oil and coal and natural gas and anything else — not just to power their economies, but to use as leverage against our own.

And in a pursuit of a world without borders, we opened our doors to an unprecedented wave of mass migration that threatens the cohesion of our societies, the continuity of our culture, and the future of our people.

We made these mistakes together, and now, together, we owe it to our people to face those facts and to move forward, to rebuild.

America was founded 250 years ago, but the roots began here on this continent long before. The man who settled and built the nation of my birth arrived on our shores carrying the memories and the traditions and the Christian faith of their ancestors as a sacred inheritance, an unbreakable link between the old world and the new.

We are part of one civilization — Western civilization. We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry, and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir.

This is why we Americans may sometimes come off as a little direct and urgent in our counsel. This is why President Trump demands seriousness and reciprocity from our friends here in Europe. The reason why, my friends, is because we care deeply. We care deeply about your future and ours. And if at times we disagree, our disagreements come from our profound sense of concern about a Europe with which we are connected — not just economically, not just militarily.

The fundamental question we must answer at the outset is what exactly are we defending, because armies do not fight for abstractions. Armies fight for a people; armies fight for a nation. Armies fight for a way of life. And that is what we are defending: a great civilization that has every reason to be proud of its history, confident of its future, and aims to always be the master of its own economic and political destiny.

It was here in Europe where the ideas that planted the seeds of liberty that changed the world were born. It was here in Europe where the world — which gave the world the rule of law, the universities, and the scientific revolution. But only if we are unapologetic in our heritage and proud of this common inheritance can we together begin the work of envisioning and shaping our economic and our political future.

Together we can reindustrialize our economies and rebuild our capacity to defend our people. But the work of this new alliance should not be focused just on military cooperation and reclaiming the industries of the past. It should also be focused on, together, advancing our mutual interests and new frontiers, unshackling our ingenuity, our creativity, and the dynamic spirit to build a new Western century. Commercial space travel and cutting-edge artificial intelligence; industrial automation and flex manufacturing; creating a Western supply chain for critical minerals not vulnerable to extortion from other powers.

But we must also gain control of our national borders. Controlling who and how many people enter our countries, this is not an expression of xenophobia. It is not hate. It is a fundamental act of national sovereignty.

And finally, we can no longer place the so-called global order above the vital interests of our people and our nations. We do not need to abandon the system of international cooperation we authored, and we don’t need to dismantle the global institutions of the old order that together we built. But these must be reformed. These must be rebuilt.

This is the path that President Trump and the United States has embarked upon. It is the path we ask you here in Europe to join us on. It is a path we have walked together before and hope to walk together again. For five centuries, before the end of the Second World War, the West had been expanding — its missionaries, its pilgrims, its soldiers, its explorers pouring out from its shores to cross oceans, settle new continents, build vast empires extending out across the globe.

This is why we do not want allies to rationalize the broken status quo rather than reckon with what is necessary to fix it, for we in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline

We do not seek to separate, but to revitalize an old friendship and renew the greatest civilization in human history. What we want is a reinvigorated alliance that recognizes that what has ailed our societies is not just a set of bad policies but a malaise of hopelessness and complacency.

An alliance – the alliance that we want is one that is not paralyzed into inaction by fear – fear of climate change, fear of war, fear of technology. Instead, we want an alliance that boldly races into the future. And the only fear we have is the fear of the shame of not leaving our nations prouder, stronger, and wealthier for our children.

So in a time of headlines heralding the end of the transatlantic era, let it be known and clear to all that this is neither our goal nor our wish – because for us Americans, our home may be in the Western Hemisphere, but we will always be a child of Europe.

We want to do it together with you, with a Europe that is proud of its heritage and of its history; with a Europe that has the spirit of creation of liberty that sent ships out into uncharted seas and birthed our civilization; with a Europe that has the means to defend itself and the will to survive.

We should be proud of what we achieved together in the last century, but now we must confront and embrace the opportunities of a new one – because yesterday is over, the future is inevitable, and our destiny together awaits. Thank you.

Your Singhs today (Blue Water Bridge edition)

Just the facts, man! The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the seizure of over 250 kg (550 lbs) of methamphetamine at the Blue Water Bridge border crossing near Sarnia ON.

On February 4th, a commercial truck operated by Diversity Truck Lines arriving at the port of entry from the United States was pulled aside for a secondary examination by a CBSA officer. Further inspection of the trailer led to officers finding 16 duffle bags containing suspected methamphetamine. Authorities say the total weight of the narcotics was 266.4 kg.

As a result, CBSA officers arrested 29-year-old Kulbir Singh [not exactly as pictured] of Woodstock ON. The narcotics and Mr Singh were then transferred to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), who have charged the graduate of the famous Singh School of Truck Driving with importation of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

As is the custom, Mr Singh promised to appeaer for trial at a later date, to remain in Canada until then, and not claim refugee status. It is understood that he is now back behind the wheel.

For more information on schools of truck driving, see the video in "Your Sikhs today (Brampton ON edition)", posted earlier today.

Another day, another transsexual mass shooting

From the frozen wastes of the Great No-longer-white North, Agent 3 reports that the Canajan lickspittle meeja were so busy downplaying the chosen gender identity of the tranny who mudered 9 people (including his mother and himself) in Tumbler Ridge BC, that it completely omitted to report a similar mass shooting which occurred yesterday in Rhode Island.

In Pawtucket RI (home of the Pawtucket Patriot Ale), a gunperson who was born male but identified as a woman killed two people and injured three others at a high school hockey match at the Dennis M. Lynch Areana, before turning the gun on himself.

According to local police chief, 56-year-old, the birth name of the shooter was Robert Dorgan, but "We have also learned that the person does go by the name of Roberta and also uses the last name of Esposito."

Mr/Ms/Whatever Dorgan, believed to have been the father of one of the hockey players, sat at the back of the stands on the home team's side during the hockey match before moving to the front and opening fire on four family members and one family friend. He/she/whatever died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The mother of a student hockey player died inside Lynch Arena, while her child died later at the hospital. Three victims were in critical condition as of last night.

The motive has not been officially established, but police believe it was a targeted shooting that stemmed from a family dispute. Police have not identified the victims, but a different official source told Fox News that the gunman killed his wife and shot three of his children. The similarity with the mass murder in Canada is notable. Not that all transsexuals don't gert along with their families, of course, but... just sayin'.

Another similarity with the Canadian story is the reluctance of the American controllede media to inform their audiences that the shooter was a transsexual. The ultra-liberal-left New York Times, for example, spends 800 words without using the word. The only clue their five (count `em, 5) reporters give us is the quote from the police chief.

Why is the NYT so diffident? Breitbart's John Nolte says that their "lie of omission" of the unpleasant fact -- he calls it "as good as spreading disinformation" --  is due to their desperate desire not to offend their shrinking subscriber base, which (he says) "is made up mostly of intolerant leftists who will cancel their subscription should the Times begin to report truths that make them in any way uncomfortable.

"New York Times readers 1) don’t want to be exposed to anything that makes them uncomfortable, 2) do not want facts published that go against leftist narratives, and 3) do not want the Times to publish any truth that might hurt the leftist cause."

Of course the NYT is not the only media outlet turning a blind eye to the painful truth. Forget about the mainstream media. Before drinking their liberal Kool-Aid [Yes, we know it was actually "Flavor Aid". Ed.] check alternative sources... like WWW. The truth is out there. You just have to look for it.

Be careful, though, your dealings with the proprietors of the Singh School of Truck Driving and other Sikh-owned businesses, not just in Brampton but in Surrey BC, Edmonton AB and other immigrant-friendly cities across Canada. As this article from Canada's Global TV News reveals, they are not alone, and they are dangerous.

Minnesota Valentine

Just saw this today...

Apologies from Ed. to our readers who are looking for something to read, i.e. some text. Walt has been preoccupied with family matters and seasonal holidays (see below) and here it is almost Lent already. He's thinking of giving up writing (but not posting) for Lent. But if something really major happens... like the fall of the Castro Communists... he'll surely say something. Stay tuned.

To all our Chinese readers and friends

Walt, Ed., and Poor Len wish all our Chinese friends and readers*

* We wish to point out that although WWW is banned in Communist China, we have we have Chinese readers in Taiwan, in the huge Chinese diaspora around the world, and (through VPN) even in Communist China itself. Our good wishes extend to the Chinese people... only!

VIDEOS: AXIOS! Father Daniel Galadza

Walt is happy to share the great news that a week ago, Sunday, February 8th, Father Deacon Daniel Galadza was ordained to the Holy Priesthood through the laying‑on of hands by His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Patriarch of Kyiv‑Halyč at the Basilica of Santa Sofia in Rome. This first video shows the entire cereemony.

Father Daniel is one of the sons of +Father Roman Galadza, of blessed memory, founding Pastor of St. Elias the Prophet Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church, in Brampton ON, in the Eparchy of Toronto.

Father Daniel is a distinguished scholar and clergyman serving as Professor of Eastern Christian Liturgy at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome, an international research partner with the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Special Liturgical Commission of the Dicastery for the Eastern Churches. He is well known for his research on the Byzantine Rite and for his monograph Liturgy and Byzantinization in Jerusalem (Oxford, 2018).

We conclude with "Tranquil Light", from Vespers on the Eve of Father David's ordination, sung by family and friends in Rome for the occasion.

Please keep Father Daniel in your prayers as he enters the presbyteral ministry, and may God grant him many blessed years in service to the Church.

Tumbler Ridge massacre just an excuse to bash trans folk, says activist

"Let's not politicize this," said politicians of all stripes as they cried on cue for the victims of Tuesday's school shooting at Tumbler Ridge BC that left nine people dead, including the killer, and 27 injured.

Among those weeping was Marni Panas, a "trans activist" based in Edmonton, who says her heart broke when she saw the news. When rumours (confirmed much later by the RCMP)  began to circulate that the suspect, at first described as "a woman in a brown coat" was actually a biological male, Jesse Strang, who "identified as a woman", Ms Panas watched in horror what she says has become a predictable pattern emerge online.

Within minutes, she says some people began to leverage the tragedy to "advance hate" against the trans community. "This will just get uglier now for us and for our community as a whole, when our attention should be on the care of these victims and to support communities," she said.

This post is based on a report published this morning on... wait for it... CBC News.

Puzzled footnote: Agent 3 reports that Canada's Notional Pest oops, National Post, the least left of the lickspittle Canadian meeja, has turned off comments on all articles and columns related to this story. Wonder why... But you can still comment on the social media!

VIDEOS: "Undercover in Havana" and "An island in turmoil"

Our post "Beginning of the end for Castro Communist Cuba?" (WWW 10/2/26) brought more reaction than usual, not all of it positive. Agent 2, who used to be a regular visitor to Cuba and has friends there, thinks it wrong of Agent 10 to advocate a boycott of Cuba as a tourist destination. 2 writes:

I understand that she wants change in Cuba.... She is telling people not to go and support a dictatorship. But what is happening right now is extremely hurtful to the residents. No tourists mean some resorts are closing, no jobs for the workers, no transportation because of the fuel.

How are they to shop, go to doctors or hospitals, visit friends or sick relatives? Only some of them have decent bicycles. The tourists give tips, clothes, medicines not only to the workers but they walk off the resorts to the villages to distribute money and meds and clothes.

Lack of fuel for the tourists to take a cab and guess what, the cab driver has a family. Schools are closed and for how long?... I am on WhatsApp constantly with my Cuban friends who are hurting. They are living with this mess.

The next few months will be very difficult for them. The big solution here is which country will bring their tankers not overthrowing the government. That is for another time.

In this video, Ezra Levant interviews Alexa Lavoie, who he sent to Havana on a mission to document how things are on the ground. Ms Lavoie describes poverty, shortages and surveillance seen in Havana and how its reality clashes with Cuba's tourist image.

She reports many of the same things Agent 2 said, especially the part about jobs at hotels and resorts being the best jobs. As you'll see, things are not so good if you're a teacher or... just about anything else. Watch the video and decide for yourself whether it's right for the US of A to be trying to depose the Castro Communists.

And here's another one, an ARTE documentary published last October. Like the first video, it shows how, for foreign tourists, Cuba is a corner of paradise in the heart of the Caribbean. But for Cubans life is not easy. A rolling economic crisis means food shortages and poverty as buildings and infrastructure crumble. How can we fail to understand how much the poor people of Cuba -- that includes everyone except the Castro cronies and their military -- want change and wants it now!

UPDATED: Jesse who? Latest on BC school massacre

What follows appeared on Canada's Global TV News website 46 minutes after Walt's last post on the tragedy at Tumbler Ridge BC.

"BC RCMP have identified the shooter as 18-year-old female Jesse Van Rootselaar, who is a resident of Tumbler Ridge. [A spokesthingy] said they do have a history of police calls to the family residence involving Van Rootselaar, including some mental health calls."

Ed. was unable to find any photos -- male or female -- of "Jesse Van Rootselaar", but did find the photos above in which the subject is identified as 17-year-old "Jesse Strang". Could they be related? The Mounties later  said that the two Jesses were one and the same. "Jesse Van Rootselaar" is the name that "Jesse Strang" adopted when he changed his "gender identity".

Jesse's mother, Jennifer, and sibling, Emmett, were among the eight (8) victims of his actions. After killing them and wounding over two dozen others (see previous posts), he turned the gun, for which he had an expired licence, on himself. Total body count: 9.

UPDATE just seen on the Babylon Bee.

Mounties REFUSE to confirm trans "identity" of Tumbler Ridge killer

The massacre at Tumbler Ridge BC occurred at about 1300 PST yesterday. As I write, 21 hours later, Canada's lickspittle mainstream media are hushing up the identity and sexual orientation of the murderer -- Jesse "Jess" Strang. On the noon (EST) news, CTV News went with the liberal party line, as laid down by the state-owned CBC, to wit:

"RCMP Supt. Ken Floyd told reporters that investigators had identified a suspect, but would not immediately release a name. He also said the shooter's motive remained unclear, adding that police are still investigating how the victims are connected to the shooter.

"Police said they believe the suspected shooter found dead at the school is the same person described in the active shooter alert sent to phones in the area earlier today. In an earlier alert Tuesday, police had described the suspect as 'female in a dress with brown hair.'"

Why the radio silence? Because, you see, Mr/Ms/Whatever Strang was a transsexual or at least a transsexual wannabe. That doesn't fit the woke wisdom which prevails in Canada, that there's nothing wrong with people who wish to change their birth sexuality, or should we say the sexuality imposed on them by their parents..

They "act out", the wokesters say, only because they're being deprived of their "right" to decide their gender identity for themselves. To suggest that people like Strang might be dangerous to themselves and others because of a form of mental illness is (of course) "unacceptable".
