Your Sikhs today: Diversity Truck Lines in $98 million drug bust

Before Walt answers the question "How do you know they're Sikhs?", let's read the entire story as it was reported today by one of Canada's top three agencies of the lickspittle media. [He means CTV News. Ed.]

A cross-border investigation involving police and border agencies in Canada and the U.S. has resulted in the seizure of nearly 1.7 tonnes [3.74 tons] of illegal drugs. Authorities are calling "Project Bay" one of Ontario’s largest single-investigation drug busts. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than $139 million [$98 million in real money].

According to police, the investigation targeted the importation and trafficking of illegal drugs linked to the Canada-U.S. border. The investigation started in January 2025 when police in Windsor ON launched a drug-trafficking probe. A month later, the Canada Border Services Agency joined the investigation as officers worked to identify a cross-border trafficking network.

Authorities said the investigation uncovered a broker-style operation within the commercial trucking industry that allegedly exploited established transportation networks to move illegal drugs across the border. Investigators allege the operation arranged for drivers to knowingly transport illicit substances through legitimate supply chains.

Police said the investigation also relied on support from several law enforcement partners. U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration assisted with the international aspects of the case, while Toronto police and Peel Regional Police provided operational and investigative support.

On June 25, investigators used 18 search warrants at homes and businesses in Windsor, Corunna, LaSalle, Brampton and Kleinburg. On July 14, two search warrants were used in Markham and Caledon, and on July 20, two search warrants were used in Brampton.

Considering that the CTV version doesn't list any names or other information which would identify the accused, I hear you asking: How do I know there are Sikhs involved? I've highlighted the clues contained in the text.

I don't know how that "Schwartz" got in there, but of the 19 named accused we have... let's see... 5 "Singh"s, 2 "Sandhu"s and a "Grewal" (whose middle names are undoubtedly "Singh"), and 4 others with "South Asian" names who may or may not be "Singh"s. And 1 (only) Mohamed.

Some of the accused are likely graduates of the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving (HQ in Brampton ON), and probably employed by companies with names like Diversity Truck Lines. Anyone with information to the contrary is invited to blab in our "comments", or you can just call 1-800-222-TIPS.

Apart from their beards, what do you suppose these 17 men have in common?.....I'm sure you're way ahead of us on this one but here's the answer. They are all Sikhs and all are originally from south Asia, or India, to be precise. [What happened to diversity being Canada's strength? Ed.]

Not much, and all accused by Peel Regional Police of being involved in the extortion of innocent business people -- mostly compatriots and co-religionists -- for cash as part of a "pay up or you pay the price" criminal enterprise.

In recent months 324 gunshots were fired into two dozen Peel residences or businesses. The 17 men just arrested face 106 criminal charges over 24 incidents, of which16 are linked to the "For Brothers" network. The charges include arson and multiple shootings, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, breaches of court orders, and drug-related offences. Police also seized six firearms, illicit drugs, cellphones, SIM cards and fraudulent IDs.

Inspector Singh (no relation) of the Peel police told the meeja "The organized criminal network is allegedly responsible for a series of targeted attacks against the Region of Peel's South Asian community. They are believed to have been active in Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon, and British Columbia, with links to California." Sources say one of those charged -- Sukwinder Singh -- is also wanted in India for an attempted murder. 

Only two (count `em -- 2 out of 17) of the alleged perps are permanent residents of Canada. The others range from visitors to "temporary" workers.* Some are said to have already been kicked out of Canuckistan and many will also face deportation hearings. 

Brampton mayor Patrick Singh Brown commented, "Talk about a complete failure of border security when you have 17 (alleged) foreign criminals terrifying a community and committing violent acts. All should be deported yesterday. There is no way this should be allowed to happen." Duh, eh.

Of course a hearing doesn't guarantee deportation. A Sikh student of the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving who took out most of a Saaskatchewan hockey team in a horrific crash some years ago is still in Canada, pleading to be allowed to remain "on humanitarian grouns". And, as reported in WWW passim, Sikh criminals have become adept in claiming asylum, saying their lives would be in danger if they were returned to the "Khalistan" which they love so dearly.

* Footnote: Tim Hortons, the iconic Canadian coffee 'n' donuts chain, today announced that it would be ending its use of the "temporary" foreign worker scheme, saying it was "no longer necessary."

It's been a slow day for political news, what with everyone catching their breath following President Trump's announcement of "revenge tariffs" of 10%... wait, 15% on the entire world. But there's always crime news, and you can find it by Googling "Singh+Surrey" or "Singh+Brampton". 

The second option led us to a report from the Peel Regional Police, as follows: 

Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have siezed a firearm following a kidnapping investigation where search warrants were executed in the Brampton area. On Nov. 6, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., the complainant contacted police to advise that a close friend of his had been kidnapped. The accused demanded $200,000 from the complainant stating that if he did not provide the payment they would harm the victim. 

Through diligent police work and investigative techniques, the victim was safely located and found to be unharmed. One accused was arrested at the scene, where a .45-calibre firearm was recovered. On Feb. 13, 2026, two Criminal Code Search Warrants were executed in Brampton. Further evidence of the offence was located at the scene. One loaded firearm magazine and an unloaded rifle magazine was also located. 

Harkirat Singh, a 27-year-old from Brampton [not the Brampton city councillor of the same name]  was charged with the following:

Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm 

Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm.

Amritpal Singh, a 27-year-old from Brampton was charged with the following:

What about them mugshots then? Which Singh is which?

Glad you asked, but unfortunately we can't give you a definitive answer. Ed. scraped them from a Canadian Press story published by Global TV News 26/8/21 under the headline "Police arrest 3 men in Brampton, searching for 4th suspect in human trafficking investigation".

The report says that "Amritpal Singh, who is 23, and 22-year-old Harkuwar Singh both face eight charges, including procuring and trafficking a person under the age of 18, forcible confinement and aggravated assault. Twenty-three-year-old Sukhmanpreet Singh is charged with forcible confinement and aggravated assault."

Maddeningly, the write-up doesn't tell us which of the three alleged Sikh criminals is which. But checking the math, Amritpal Singh was 23 in 2021, soooo... 27 in 2026 sounds about right. The Amritpal Singh arrested in 2021 is most likely one and the same as the Amritpal Singh arrested last week. 

What we have yet to learn is what happened to Mr Singh between August of 2021 and this winter. Was he brought to trial on the 2021 charges? Was he convicted? Did he do time? And after that was he deported as is supposed to happen in the case of any non-citizen of Canada sentenced to more than 6 months? Or did he claim asylum or refugee status so as to remain in Canada until whenever...

Interesting questions. Don't hold your breath waiting for answers.

It's been a couple of days since we ran a story about criminality in Canada's burgeoning Sikh community. We get at least one tip every day but we don't want to add too exacerbate the sick-of-Sikhness sweeping Ontario and British Columbia, so won't run any more of these this week. Promise.

Five people have been charged after the Ontario Provincial Police, responsible for the Town of Caledon in Ontario's Peel Region, say they fabricated an armed carjacking report in Caledon as part of a fraud scheme. 

Inspector Knacker told the meeja the OPP were first contacted in the early hours of September 9th for a reported carjacking in the area of Old School Road and Heritage Road. It was alleged that four suspects, two of whom were armed with handguns, stole the complainant’s vehicle by force and fled the area. 

However, police say that detectives ultimately determined the complainant, along with four co-conspirators fabricated the story as part of a fraud scheme.

Five people of a light-brownish complexion have had their collars felt in connection with their investigation. The individuals taken into custody include Apkarn Singh, 22, of Brampton, Lakshay Sharma, 21, of Caledon, Sehajpreet Singh Sandhu, 21, of Caledon, Gurkarn Singh, 21, of Brampton and a 17-year-old from Brampton. The suspects are facing nine combined charges, including fraud over $5000. 

The charges have not been tested in court. Until their court date -- sometime next year -- the Singhs are out on bail so they can pursue their regular occupations as truck drivers for Diversity Transport LinesTM.

Around 0200 on April Fool's Day, a 22-year-old motorist lost control of his Mazda 3 and smashed into a pole in Mississausage ON, killing his passenger. 

Peel Regional Police say the Mazda was travelling north along Erin Mills Parkway when it collided with a silver Jeep which was making a left turn onto Vista Boulevard, about two kilometres south of Britannia Road. Following that collision, the Peelers say, the Mazda careened down the road and collided with a hydro pole. 

The driver and a passenger in the Mazda were transported to the hospital with serious injuries where the passenger, a 20-year-old man, died. The driver of the Jeep was not seriously injured.

This weekend -- more than five months after the tragic events -- the cops finally laid charges (dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death; operation while impaired by drugs causing death, and racing a motor vehicle) against... wait for it... Armaan Singh Gill, of Mississauga.

In spite of the DUI charge, the report of the incident published this weekend in the Toronto Sun, is headlined "Speed allegedly a factor in deadly Mississauga crash, motorist charged". The deadly driver simply as "Armaan Gill". No mention is made of his possible connection with the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving.

Meanwhile, today's Peel Regional Police blotter announces that the last of three men wanted for extortion after homes were shot at in Brampton earlier this summer has been nabbed in Canada's Lalaland on the West Coast.

On July 10th and 11th, the Peelers say, gunshots were fired at residences in the area of Rolling Acres Drive, in the Mississauga Road and Queen Street West area of Brampton. Police released video -- reposted right here on WWW -- of the brazen crime showing one man firing a gun while a second appeared to be filming him on a cellphone. The suspects were seen fleeing in a black Chrysler 300, which was recovered in Winnipeg on July 13th.

On July 27th, Husandeep Singh, 20, of Mississauga, was charged with one count each of extortion and discharge firearm with intent. Canada-wide warrants were issued for two other suspects, and on Aug. 26th, Peel cops arrested Gurpreet Singh, 23, of no fixed address, in Winnipeg. He was charged with two counts of discharge firearm with intent and one count of extortion. 

And now (September 12th), they felt the collar of the last suspect, Gurdeep Singh Shergill, 26, of Delta BC, in neighbouring Surrey, which has a population of Sikhs even larger than that of Brampton. He was charged with two counts of discharge firearm with intent and one count of extortion.

All three were held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. at which they are expected to be released to resume their vital work in Canada's cross-border transportation industry.

Further to yesterday's "Your Singhs today (Brampton edition)", Walt can confirm that Kanwarjyot Singh Manoria, charged with uttering threats to kill the mayor of Brampton ON and his family, was released on bail yesterday afternoon, as predicted in the last paragraph of our report. Lifetime pct .987.

Today, his place at bail hearings in the Ontario Court of Justic [sikh] at Brampton will be taken by Manjinder Singh Dhaliwal, Harmash Lal Dadra, and Rajwant Singh, all from the former Flower Town of Canada.  

They face charges resulting from investigations by Peel Region Police into an organized cargo theft ring operating in Mississausage ON. On July 14th, the cops located a stolen transport truck, reported stolen days earlier, in the area of Dixie Road and Meyerside Drive. Two additional transport trailers, also reported stolen days prior, were located in the area and linked to three individuals. 

The Peelers recovered one transport truck and two trailers, with the total value to be estimated at C $300,000 (about $220,000 in real money), and the original stolen property valued at approximately $100,000.

In fairness, we should note that Mr Dadra may be a Hindu, probably accepted by the others to promote diversity.

Your Singhs today - Sikh heritage month in Brampton ON

On April 30th the Peel Regional Police Service, which polices serves the Greater Toronto bedroom communities of Mississauga and Brampton, posted on Facebook this account, showing how they reflect the diversity that makes Canada strong.

"Today, we gathered at PRP headquarters for a Lunch & Learn to mark the end of Sikh Heritage Month and reflect on the perspectives and lived experiences of the communities we serve. It was a meaningful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the rich culture and historical contributions of Sikh Canadians in our communities and beyond."

Indeed. The Sikh cops even get to wear their own special turbans. Their kirpans and holy underwear are, of course, concealed.

The very next day, the meeja in Toronto and as far away as Australia ran this story:

'No business owner should have to live in fear,' say police,

after 3 charged in Brampton extortion investigation

Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an extortion investigation in Brampton. Peel Regional Police (PRP) said on April 30 they were called to a business near Queen Street and Kennedy Road South in Brampton that had been shot at. Investigators said no one was inside the property during the incident, however a victim began receiving messages from an unknown individual who made demands for money. 

On May 1, following a thorough investigation involving multiple teams, including surveillance, and community incident response and tactical, three males from Brampton were identified and arrested for extortion. They are 34-year-old Harpal Singh, 20-year-old Rajnoor Singh, and 22-year-old Eknoor Singh. Here are pictures of the three Sikhs, one of whom apparently refused to remove his turban for the mug shoot. 

The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at which they are expected to be released. The peel Peelers [North American readers, read: cops. Ed.] could not confirm that they are students at the famous Singh School of Truck Driving. Nor would they respond to allegations that the accussed are actually policemen, a suggestion that is obviously absurd.

Your Singhs today ("Greater" Toronto edition)

The Region of Peel (called Peel County until 1973) is a huge bedroom on the western border of Toronto, Canada. Its population, according to the 2021 census, was just under 1.5 million. Included in that total were some 1.4 million Sikhs. [Ed., please check that figure. Do the Canucks keep track of people's race and religion?]

At least, that's the way it seems, judging by reports of crimes and misdemeanors in which the perps accused so often have "Singh" as a middle name or surname. Some recent reports of the nefarious activities of assorted Singhs may be found by entering "Singh" in the search window above. Here's a new one, posted by the Peel Regional Police earlier today. We've added a few comments.

The Peelers [Will non-Brits get that? Ed.] announced the break-up of a "prolific" theft ring targeting Liquor Control Board of Ontario (a government agency) stores across the so-called Greater Toronto Area. Between August of 2024 and this past February, a gang of Singhs (and one guy who might be a Hindu) made off with nearly C$240,000 worth of dat ole debbil gin and related products. 

The group allegedly targeted as many as 50 LCBO locations during that time and used co-ordinated techniques to steal a total of C$237,738.95 in alcohol. Investigators say that on many occasions multiple suspects arrived at the stores together and distracted employees before accomplices entered restricted access points. Images provided by police appear to show the suspects carrying large quantities of liquor from the stores in boxes and push carts. Five individuals have been arrested and charged. Here are their mug shots.

All five arrested individuals were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. The outcome of the bail hearings has not been made public, but Walt's local agent speculates that the four of no fixed address have likely been released after promising not go anywhere near Toronto Airport, located just a few miles to the east, from which there are daily flights to India and Pakistan.

Two additional suspects are "outstanding", as the cops say, and may already have left on one of those planes. They are identified by police as 28-year-old Jagshir Singh and 25-year-old Punit Sehjra, likewise of no fixed address.

Peel Regional Police Deputy Chief Marc Andrews told the meeja,"The work of our Criminal Investigation Bureau has been nothing short of exceptional in dismantling this prolific organized crime group. We will leave no 18-wheeler unsearched until we have located the remaining Singhs."

He said nothing about how all these Singhs got into Canada, nor their present status. It may be that they are all on student visas, pursuing a higher education at the infamous Singh School of Truck Driving. (See WWW, passim.)

Walt notes that the presser was given by the very white Deputy Chief Marc Andrews. No doubt the Chief was otherwise engaged. His name is Nishan Duraiappah. He began his career with Halton Police after immigrating in December 1995, and has served in a variety of assignments including front line policing, specialized investigations and "Diversity and Community Relations" [sic].

American readers are forgiven for not being able to locate Brampton ON -- the locus of the criminal activity described in "Brampton man charged with 3 counts of kidnapping and sexual assault", WWW 27/11/24. You-all can stop reading now.

Most Canadian readers, or at least those in southern Ontario, will know Brampton (and Mississauga to the south) as the New Khalistan (formerly known as the Region of Peel), one of two Canadian municipalities occupied and dominated by members of the Sikh faith community. 

The principal educational institution in this ghetto -- for that's what it is -- is the infamous Singh School of Truck Driving, whose graduates terrorize motorists on highways across Canada, especially Highway 401, the longest superhighway within a single state in the whole world. [Thank you. I did not know that! Ed.]

Yep, those Sikhs are just driving devils. The big rigs they [??? not "drive"? Ed.] frequently carry drugs across the World's Longest Undefended Border, which is one reason why President Trump now threatens to impose heavy tariffs on Canadian goods, unless the government of Blackie McBlackface does  something right sharpish to plug up the holes in said border.

The men in the holy underpants are also implicated in the sharp spike in car thefts in the so-called Greater Toronto. Cars and trucks stolen in the GTA quickly find their way to Montréal where they are stuffed into containers and shipped to Nigeria, Morocco, Ghana, and... did I mention Nigeria?

Two of the thieves were caught red-handed... or "red-wheeled" or whatever, yesterday morning. According to a press release from the Peel Region coppers, they arrested and charged two suspects after a short chase in Mississauga on Wednesday morning. Officers from 12 Division Community Incident Response Team (CIRT) located a stolen Lexus NX 350 near the Goreway Drive and Brandon Gate Drive area. 

Officers said they were able to stop the suspects from escaping in the reportedly stolen SUV, but police cruisers were damaged as a result. The suspects then ran and were caught after a short foot chase, police said. Bhawanjeet Singh, 23, and Gurdeep Singh, 28, were both arrested on scene and charged with a combined total of 10 criminal offences related to drugs, weapon possession and stolen property,

Bhawanjeet Singh, a 23-year-old of "no fixed address" [read: a couch surfer. Ed.], has been charged with the following offences: 

- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

- Mischief over $5000 

- Possession of Property obtained by crime 

- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose 

Gurdeep Singh, a 28-year-old couch surfer, has been charged with the following offences: 

- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

- Mischief over $5000 

- Possession of Property obtained by crime 

- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose 

- Possession of a controlled substance 

- Breach of Release order (meaning he was out on bail).

Both accused were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton. 

The press release does not say anything about what the Sikhs were doing in Canada, other than committing crimes. Walt's agent on the scene suspects they were in the country on student visas, for studies at... guess where!
