Your Singhs today (not your typical Sikh trucker)

Not all of the many Sikhs appearing before His Majesty's courts in the Canadian province of Ontario are involved in drug smuggling or the dangerous driving of 18-wheelers. Some of them have other... errr... vocations. 

Police in Guelph ON say a man responsible for stealing more than C$300,000 ($215,000 in real money) worth of products from Liquor Control Board of Ontario stores across the province has been sentenced to five years in prison. 

A statement released yesterday says that in May of 2024, Guelph Police officers, along with LCBO officials, "identified a suspect believed to have committed more than 100 thefts from LCBO stores…including 10 in Guelph."

A spokesthingy for the cops told the Wellington Advertiser the list included a $600 theft from the Fergus LCBO in March 2023. Police say officers tracked the suspect to St. Catharines, where he was found sleeping in a stolen vehicle that was used in some of the crimes. "With assistance from members of the Niagara Regional Police Service the vehicle was blocked in," stated the press release. "The man was awakened but rammed several cruisers in an attempt to flee before he was finally arrested."

The man, now identified as Davinder Singh (not exactly as pictured), 28, of no fixed address. (The truck isn't "fixed", you see. Geddit?) He pled guilty in Guelph court to a long list of charges, including vehicle theft, dangerous driving, assault with a weapon and several counts of theft over $5000. He will spend the next five years (or less) of his life as His Majesty's guest (read: at taxpayers' expense). Whether he will be deported after his release is not clear.

Note from Ed.: For some reason, Canada's larger media outlets, such as the state-owned Canadian Broadcorping Castration, did not disclose the name of the perp. We are grateful to small local papers, like the Wellington Advertiser, for having the courage to confirm what everyone suspected.

Dear American readers, How do you feel about all the tariffs which President Trump has slapped on America's trade partners, particularly Canada? Are they making America stronger? More prosperous? Great again? Is the price which you personally are paying for protectionism worth it? 

President Trump is in a snit because the government of Ontario put together a TV spot, using clips from a speech televised in 1987, in which the last conservative president to occupy the White House says that tariffs are not helpful but hurtful to the American people. Check this out.

Yesterday, while en route to gabfests with assorted Asian leaders in Malaysia and South Korea, POTUS said that, because of the ad, which he called "fake", he's ending all talks with Canada over the ad. But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more. "Because of their serious misrepresentation of the facts, and hostile act," he told the meeja on Air Force One, "I am increasing the Tariff on Canada by 10% over and above what they are paying now."

What did you see in the ad that could have triggered the Donald's ire? To me, it sounds as if President Reagan is in favour of free trade, and against tariffs, which he called "an outdated notion." Did I not hear correctly?

What's the point of getting even tougher on America's biggest trading partner? With Canada already under a US base tariff rate of 35%, the impact of President Trump’s latest gut-punch isn't immediately clear. 

The 35% rate doesn't apply to most Canadian goods because of an exemption for products and shipments made within the rules of the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Steel and aluminum products aren't covered by that waiver, and Canadian-made cars and trucks are only partially eligible for exemption from the 25% tariffs on most foreign autos. 

Marx Carnage, the prime minister of Canuckistan, has been engaged in protracted talks with the US of A to lower the levies and has already lowered his elbow to knee-level. [I assume Canuck readers will get that one. Ed.] After speaking to Mr Carnage, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said the province will pause its ad campaign tomorrow, now that the ads have been seen by millions of Americans, including President Trump, when they interrupted the World Series.

But the damage has been done. The clash has reignited uncertainty between two partners that exchanged $900 billion in goods and services last year and have closely interwoven supply chains for major industries. IMHO, the ongoing trade war benefits no-one, no-one. Let the man who authored The Art of the Deal get on with some sesrious deal-making.

Your Singhs today (Ontario, California edition)

May we be frank. [You can be "Frank"; I'll remain "Ed." Ed.] It doesn't matter where in North America you live. Whether it's in Ontario, the Canadian province, or Ontario, the city of California, if you hear a report of a horrific highway accident involving a tractor-trailer, the chances areway higher than 50-50 that the driver is going to be a Sikh whose immigration status is, shall we say, questionable.

Like this guy, 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, from Yuba City CA. Mr Singh is accused of causing a horrific eight-car pile-up on 10 Freeway in Ontario CA that killed three people. Dashcam footage captured the moment his big rig [owned by Diversity Transport Inc.? Ed.] rammed into the back of a traffic queue after failing to reduce speed shortly before 1315 last Tuesday. 

Terrifying video captured by a witness shows the semi-truck smashing into the back of a white SUV, before causing a red sedan to erupt into a fireball as it was pushed into another truck. Eight vehicles, including four semis, were impacted.

Witness Jason Calmelat saw the whole crash from a parking lot facing the freeway. He told KTLA-TV, "The red truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when everyone else was stopped. He didn’t hit his brakes, he didn’t try to slow down, he just went full force into the back of another truck, crushing two other cars."

Two victims were pronounced dead on the scene. A third died after being taken to the hospital. The remaining fatalities were severely burned in the flames and have not been identified. Four others were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries. The condition of the survivors has not been released

According to KTLA, Mr Singh was arrested at the scene for being under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter. Turns out this is not his first brush with the law. He is an undocumented immigrant (read: illegal alien) from India who was caught and released at the California border in 2022.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported on X that ICE placed a detainer request on Mr Singh, which would allow the San Bernardino County Sheriff's office to hold him past the normal release time. A CHiP officer told the meeja, "He was eventually transported to the hospital, and he was checked out by the medical staff, and our officers determined he was driving under the influence of drugs."

Until a liberal judge releases him on bail, he is residing at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. I won't say "stay tuned" because stories like this are becoming so routine (see first paragraph above) that the lickspittle media don't even bother doing follow-ups.

Your Singhs today (Alberta truckers edition)

The Epoch Times reported yesterday that the Canadian province of Alberta is stepping up efforts to make trucking safer in the province. How? By shutting down a number of driving schools and commercial trucking companies that it says are operating "below acceptable standards".

Walt was disappointed that the truck driving schools and trucking lines were not named, likely to avoid stoking the fires of anti-Sikh backlash which are sweeping Canuckistan. A highly placed source has identified two of the schools as the Calgary and Edmonton branches of the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving. The trucking company is thought to be Diversity Transport Inc.

The province has ordered five driver training schools to close, suspended operations for 13 commercial trucking companies, sent 39 "disciplinary letters", applied more than $100,000 in fines, issued six action plans to fix issues, and revoked the licences of 12 driving instructors, according to a recent government announcement.

They're also working to boost information sharing with the federal government and cracking down on "chameleon" trucking carriers who change their names or locations to circumvent provincial oversight. 

The statement released on October 3rd went on to say that the province is also reinforcing rules related to the "Driver Inc." practice, in which companies evade payroll taxes and benefits by hiring drivers who operate their own little one-man companies as independent contractors. "These drivers often lack proper training and oversight, and are vulnerable to exploitation."

This past July 2025, a week-long commercial driver status and classification check stop revealed that 20% of the 195 drivers stopped were suspected of being "misclassified", including several temporary foreign workers and "students", like the one convicted in September of threatening and harrassing popular Sikh musician A.P. Dhillon.

The Alberta government, unlike those of Ontario, British Columbia and Canuckistan itself, is responding to growing concern -- "outrage" would be a better word -- about trucking safety and a series of deadly trucking accidents across Canada in recent months, including an October 5th collision in rural Ontario that killed two people. 

In briefing material submitted this month to the federal Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities [sic], the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) wrote that the Driver Inc. model is a particular safety concern. "he Driver Inc model has fostered collusion between carriers and unscrupulous schools, resulting in compressed programs, document falsification, and the exploitation of trainees," they wrote, adding that this includes undertrained drivers, foreign workers pressured into unsafe work to keep their work visa, and truck fleets that are in poor repair and dangerous on the roads.

It's been a couple of days since we ran a story about criminality in Canada's burgeoning Sikh community. We get at least one tip every day but we don't want to add too exacerbate the sick-of-Sikhness sweeping Ontario and British Columbia, so won't run any more of these this week. Promise.

Five people have been charged after the Ontario Provincial Police, responsible for the Town of Caledon in Ontario's Peel Region, say they fabricated an armed carjacking report in Caledon as part of a fraud scheme. 

Inspector Knacker told the meeja the OPP were first contacted in the early hours of September 9th for a reported carjacking in the area of Old School Road and Heritage Road. It was alleged that four suspects, two of whom were armed with handguns, stole the complainant’s vehicle by force and fled the area. 

However, police say that detectives ultimately determined the complainant, along with four co-conspirators fabricated the story as part of a fraud scheme.

Five people of a light-brownish complexion have had their collars felt in connection with their investigation. The individuals taken into custody include Apkarn Singh, 22, of Brampton, Lakshay Sharma, 21, of Caledon, Sehajpreet Singh Sandhu, 21, of Caledon, Gurkarn Singh, 21, of Brampton and a 17-year-old from Brampton. The suspects are facing nine combined charges, including fraud over $5000. 

The charges have not been tested in court. Until their court date -- sometime next year -- the Singhs are out on bail so they can pursue their regular occupations as truck drivers for Diversity Transport LinesTM.

Your Singhs today - What's going on here?

For over two years now, a bunch o' the boys have been gathering on Tower Road near MacTier, in Georgian Bay Township, in the heart of Ontario's cottage country, for a little target practice. Here are some pictures, screen grabs from a video which has been lighting up the Internet for some time now.

For just about as long, residents of the area, including members of the local snowmobile club, have been complaining to the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) abour "reckless shooters" on their turf.  The MacTier shooters, they say, have shown up every weekend this summer and left behind thousands of bullet holes and spent shell casings. "They think our laws don’t apply to them," one snowmobile club member told the Toronto Sun.

For some reason, the OPP did diddly until Ontario Premier Doug Ford, having seen the videos -- including one posted on the shooters' own social media -- told inquisitive reporters last Thursday, "I am confident the OPP will catch these guys." Et voilà, as surely as day follows night, the coppers announced today the arrest, over the weekend of a a 24-year-old Brampton man named... wait for it... Gurkanwal Singh. 

We don't know if he's the one in the turban, or one of the other bearded gentlemen. The OPP say the investigation is ongoing, but so far Gurkanwal is the only one charged facing charges -- two counts of careless use of a firearm. No information about Mr Singh's nationality or immigration status was released, nor was there any mention of his occupation, although he is thought to be a graduate of the infamous Singh School of Truck Driving.

We also don't know -- and this is the important part -- exactly what it was that the Messrs Singh were shooting at or trying to do. Could it have been a rehearsal for the battle to free Khalistan? Or merely instruction in what to do if surrounded by rival gangs of tow-truck operators or border security agents. See "Your Singhs today (US-Canada border edition)", WWW 3/9/25.

Georgian Bay Township Mayor Peter Koetsier was among the many who voiceed concern over whatever the hell they're doing. "The careless discharge of firearms in populated or shared spaces creates unacceptable risk to residents and visitors, We urge the public to report unsafe behaviour before someone gets seriously hurt."

Tell us, Mister Mayor, what you expect the provincial or federal governments to do? Start rounding up the hundreds of thousands of Sikhs now residing (legally or otherwise) in Canada? Send them all back to the Punjab? Oh my no! That would be racist, wouldn't it...

UPDATED: Your Singhs today - "Brampton man" nabbed at border

Do any of our readers watch Border Security? Regular viewers will know that a lot of the action takes place at the land borders between the Paranoid States of America and the Great No-longer-white North, specifically at the Peace Bridge to Buffalo NY, the Peace Arch near Blaine WA, and the Blue Water Bridge to Port Huron MI. 

At those border crossings, US Customs and Border Protection officers are constantly on the lookout for unemployed frostbacks coming into the USA for work, and big rigs full of drugs. It's the latter that prompted President Trump to impose tough tariffs on Canada, to motivate the feckless Liberal government to do something to put a stop to it.

Who's driving all those drug-laden transports back and forth across the border? Very often it's "men from Brampton", the suburb of Toronto where Sikhs make up the majority of the population, thanks to the Liberals' wish to ensure the never-ending election of turban-winders. 

Many of the many Sikhs driving erratically along the highways of Ontario, Michigan and New York are "temporary foreign students" at the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving, such as Karamveer Singh, not pictured at right.

On June 12th, the hapless Mr Singh got caught by the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency -- the counterpart of the CBP), which has been exerting itself lately to show President Trump that Canada will do its part to stem the flow of mind-altering substances across the border. 

He was attempting to drive a commerical truck across the Blue Water Bridge through the point of entry at Point Edward ON, across the water from Port Huron MI. During the inspection of the trailer, border services officers, with the assistance of Detective Mcgruff, the drug-sniffing dog, discovered the items pictured below.

That's 161 bricks of "suspected" cocaine -- it's still being tested by the officers -- contained in 6 boxes. The total weight of the "suspected" narcotics was 411 lbs, with an estimated street value of C$23.3 million (about $169 million in real money). 

The CBSA arrested Karamveer Singh, 27, of Brampton ON, and transferred him and the "suspected" narcotics to the custody of the Mounties. Mr Singh has been charged with Importation of Cocaine, and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Nothing has been said about how he got into Canada. The investigation is ongoing, but don't bother staying tuned.

Footnote added at 1212: Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down several suspects after a man was shot dead at his Brampton workplace last week. He has since been identified as Sharnpreet Singh. The workplace is believed to be other than the Singh School of Truck Driving. Source: Global TV News, 25/6/25.

Message from ON Premier Doug Ford to President Trump

Today is polling day (the proper name for "election day") in Ontario. Voters are expected to brave the crappy weather to give Mr Ford and his "Progressive Conservatives" (read: cuckservatives) an unprecedented third majory government. 

Walt sez: that's better than the liberal Liberals or the pinko "New Democrats", who are neither new nor democratic. Many good lucks to you, Doug.

Time to bring the 3 R's back to our schools. 

The province of Ontario (in Canuckistan) announced a couple of weeks ago that it's going to start teaching cursive handwriting [Wozzat? Ed.], starting this fall. The teachers' unions -- responsible for the abject failure of the educational system [Is dis a system? Mr Natural] immediately objected, saying that they needed time to be trained in the lost art... and more money for lessons, materials, preparation, yada yada yada. Are ya surprised?

Pragmatism trumps progressivism in Ontario election

Ed. here. Walt has sent us this report from somewhere north of the longer of America's undefended borders. 

As Ed. told you yesterday, the politics of the Canadian province4 of Ontario has been dominated for most of the post-WWII 20th century by a party with the oxymoronical name of "Progressive Conservative". A 42-year dynasty began just three days after Walt was born, ending only in June of 1985. 

The Liberals had their longest run from 2003 until 2018, when the government of proudly lesbian Kathleen Wynne was defeated by a political novice named Doug Ford, the little big [hardly! Ed.] brother of former Toronto mayor Rob Ford. The Liberals finished third, losing official party status. 

The question to be answered in yesterday's provincial election was: could Doug Ford, in spite of struggles with a faltering economy and the Covid "crisis", hang onto power? Here's the answer.

The "Ontario PCs" (the monker preferred by Mr Ford) won a second majority government, with twice as many seats as all the other parties combined! But wait, there's more.... The crushing victory forced the resignation of the leaders of the parties of the left and more-left. The Greens' Mike Schreiner held onto his own seat, and his position as "leader" of a party of one.

Andrea Horwath, leader of the socialistic "New" Democratic Party, was re-elected, but is stepping down as leader despite the party regaining Official Opposition status. Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca failed to regain the Vaughan-Woodbridge riding, and announced his immediate retirement. Although the Liberals won one (1) more seat than last time, they didn't meet the threshold for official party status in the Onterio legislature.

So what happened to the "progressive" parties who were touted by the lickspittle media as likely to reduce the Ford "Conservatives" to a minority? Goodness knows they pulled out all the stops in their efforts to bribe Ontario taxpayers with their own  money.

The Liberals, who occupy a place on the political spectrum roughly equivalent to that of the American Dumbocrats, offered a lengthy shopping list, free of any concern about cost, because of course the rich would pay "their fair share", and "efficiencies" would make up any shortfall. Their promises included: 

- a "buck-a-ride" for mass transit anywhere in the million-square-km province

- billions for "affordable" housing (especially for Indigenous people, to make reparations for the misdeeds of the evil colonizers)

- more billions for "assisted-living" and "social and community" housing (like council flats in the UK or "projects" in the USA)

- and still more for elder care, home care and hospital care.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's even more! Rent controls for anyone not covered by all the new housing; cheaper food; cheaper gasoline; cheaper daycare; new and better schools; a "dementia care" network to help people like Sleepy Joe Biden (if he moves to Canada after his long overdue retirement); more nurses, more surgeries, more mental health workers; more money for seniors, a possible four-day work week and "living wage" for all. All this would be paid for by, errr, someone else.

The NDP offered similar slices of pie in the sky, while saying that they thought of it first, and that they were the only party with a chance of defeating the "Conservatives". (Ms Horwath didn't specify the odds of that happening, which were about 100-1.)

For his part, Doug Ford, simply promised to get things done:

- build a new superhighway to make it easier to go around rather than through Toronto (a pretty good idea!)

- train more future workers, particularly skilled tradesmen [tradespersons? Ed.]

- make it easier for educated immigrants (with degrees) to practise their professions (there are enough "refugee" Uber drivers already)

- build more hospitals and expand the capacity of the province's health-care system.

The beauty of the PC plan -- if you could call "more of the same" a plan -- was that it consists primarily of things that are already budgeted for and in progress. Mr Ford promised no radical changes in policy or priorities. That's not who he is. He's uninterested in policy, and certainly not ideology. He's a politician of the "extreme centre", a middle-of-the-road guy, the epitome of pragmatism. And that, it seems, is exactly what the people of Ontario want.

There are lessons for both liberals and conservatives in Mr Ford's crushing of the leftist ideologues. Canada's federal Liberals and their NDP hangers-on should learn that large numbers of voters are fed up with ideology-driven tax-and-spend policies that benefit every minority and pressure group in sight, but not the silent majority who (along with their children and grandchildren) must pay the bills.

There are implications for the federal Conservatives too, as they search for a new leader. The current front-runner is Pierre Poilievre, who holds himself out as a real conservative, although "social conservatives" snort when they hear that. Mr Poilievre is the attack dog type, snarling and going for the throats of the feckless liberals, not a folksy retail politician like Doug Ford. 

If Canadian Conservatives are interested in beating the Trudeau Liberals, rather than just scoring debating points, they might look again at Jean Charest, l'homme d'hier. He's the type who would appeal to the mushy middle, and those are the people who gave Mr Ford two massive victories in a row, the second even greater than the first. 

The trouble is that if M Charest were to become prime minister, the people of Canada would be only marginally better off than they are now, through not having endure any more Trudeau virtue-signalling. What should you do if you're a conservative Canuck? Is a dilemma....

True Names Dept + Why Walt went to London (Ontario)

Ed. here again. In my earlier post we left Walt and the South Park boys (Walt doesn't appear in the video) somewhere in Canada, after their City Airlines plane, piloted by Tuong Lu Kim, made an unscheduled landing. The boys wanted to see Canada's "new prime minister", Blackie McBlackface. Walt, however, wants to see what will happen to the forces of conservatism in today's general election in the province of Ontario.

Here at WWW we have a policy of not covering or commenting on regional -- state or provincial -- politics, unless there's some national or international issue involved. Walt insists the results of the Ontario election will show whether Ontarians, a pretty middle-of-the-road herd of sheep, are ready for real conservative politics and politicians.

The answer will have implications for the Conservative Party of Canada, which will in Sepotemnber choose yet another leader, from a slate of wannabes ranging from social conservative (Leslyn Lewis) to liberal (Jean Charest), with a pseudo-conservative (Pierre Poilievre) the current front-runner.

Ontarians are funny -- "funny curious", not "funny haha" -- in that they prefer having opposing parties in power federally and provincially. So it is that for the last century or so they send mostly Liberals to Ottawa and mostly Conservatives to the Pink Palace at Queen's Park in Toronto. The party known federallyn as "Conservative" is still called "Progressive Conservative" at the provincial level, and that oxymoron tells you all you need to know about the clever mugwumpery that has kept it in power for so long. As former premier "Brampton Billy" Davis used to say, "Bland works."

In 2017, after sitting on the wrong (read: opposition) side of the Ontario Legislature, the "Ontario PCs", as they now style themselves. to avoid using the dreaded C-word, chose a new leader, Doug Ford, who promised to move the party at least an RCH to the right of centre. 

He lied. Elected premier in 2018, he rode out the Covid "crisis" and other problems by the same old mix of big government, deficit financing and handouts to all and sundry, used by Liberal governments in Ottawa and (before Ford) in Toronto.

It worked. Mr Ford is now the odds-on favourite to be re-elected today, perhaps with an increased majority. The hapless Liberals (who lost official party status in 2018) are fighting it out with the socialistic Not-so-new Democrats for second place. 

Shown below, left to right are: Mr Ford, Liberal leader Steve DelDuca, the NDP's Andrea Horwath, and Mike Schreiner, leader of the Green Party. Mr Schreiner hopes to double his party's representation in the legislature from one (himself) to two. The other two are likely to lose their jobs and, in the case of Mr DelDuca, his own seat.  

This time, however, there are two new, seriously conservative -- socially as well as fiscally -- in the running. They are the Ontario Party, headed by Derek Sloan, and the New Blue Party (no kidding), led by Jim Karahelios. 

Both are disgruntled former "Conservative" MPs/MPPs, who feel (with reason) that real conservatives have been shut out of the traditional parties, betrayed by leaders like Mr Ford and former CPC leader Erin O'Tool, who campaigned from the right and governed from the centre-left. Both of the new parties are polling about 2%, just as Max Bernier's People's Party of Canada did on its first outing. 

Walt is in London (or somewhere near there), waiting to see if real conservatism has at last taken root in Canada's most populous (if not popular or populist) province.  

Well, I seem to have gone around the horn there, as Fred C. Dobbs would say. There's no room left for the True Names story I promised in the headline. I'll put that up later.

VIDEO: Max Bernier at the Ottawa Rally for Freedom

 "Freedom is the fundamental value that unites us! That's why we're here!"

The lickspittle Canuck media have been trying to give the impression that the Ottawa protest is fizzling out. Not true! (Are ya surprised?) Two items to note:

Emperor Trudeau II said yesterday that he would not order the use of troops to supress the protest... unless of course the province of Ontario or the City of Ottawa absolutely demanded it. The truth is that he is afraid to order the army to attack the protesters, for fear that the soldiers won't obey.

The Ottawa police have been imploring towing companies for miles around to help them by hooking up the "illegal parked" trucks, but have found no-one willing to do so. The truth is that the tow truck drivers are virtually unanimous in support of the Freedom Rally.

And one more thing. [No reference to Vince Offer? Ed.] As I write, I am hearing reports that 100s of trucks and tractors are encircling Toronto's Queen's Park, the pink palace which is the seat of the Ontario government. That's right... tractors! M-103 in force! Ontario school councillor fired for questioning special rules for Muslims during Covid-19 "crisis"

As mentioned here before (click the "M-103" tag below to find previous posts) the Democratic Republic of Canuckistan has a quasi-law -- more of a "suggestion" passed by the Liberal-dominated Parliament, you see -- requiring people to say only nice things, not negative things, about members of different "faith communities". Especially Muslims... Islam being the only "faith community" specifically mentioned.

In Brampton ON, a mixed (South Asian and black) ghetto northwest of Toronto, a school councillor has lost his position after posting what has been called an "Islamophobic" tweet. Ravi Hooda, who, errr, not a Muslim, a real estate agent and a school council chair, was fired from the latter position yesterday after tweeting a reply to Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, who announced in April that an amendment to the city's anti-noise bylaw would allow mosques to play the Muslim call to prayer on speakers five times per day during Ramadan. This is what Mr Hooda wrote:

Having the temerity to point out some of the "diversity" to which other members of the community object turned out to be a Big CLM (career-limiting move) for the unfortunate Mr Hooda. The Peel District School Board say the post was disturbing and said he will no longer be able to serve on or participate in the school council in any capacity. He has also lost his position with RE/MAX, but, as far as we know, still has his real estate licence. Should he set up his own brokerage, he will surely get lots of listings from people worried about what's happening to their `hood. In Brampton, it seems, diversity is not considered a community's strength!

"Just making sure their instruments were right size" defence succeeds; ex-violin teacher acquitted of measuring girl students' bare breasts;

It's been a while since our legal beagle, Agent 3, sent us a good story, but today we have a titillating tale from the courts of Ontario, Canada. Crown prosecutors will ask the Ontario Court of Appeal tomorrow to overturn a lower court judge's finding that Claude Trachy, of Chatham ON, a former violin teacher, did not act "with a sexual purpose" when he measured more than 20 of his teen students' bare breasts while fitting them for shoulder rests. Rather, the trial judge found, M Trachy (not pictured) believed it was necessary to properly equip the students.

The Crown is now asking the appellate court to convict the ex-teacher on some of the charges, or at least order a new trial on all of them. In its appeal documents, filed today, the Crown says the complainants, who are now adults, testified they were asked to remove their shirt and bra on the left side so that Trachy could measure them from collarbone to nipple. They testified he touched their breast during this process and often would then have them play with their left breast exposed. Four complainants also alleged he took a plastic mould of their left breast.

M Trachy took the stand in his own defence, and swore he did indeed ask the girls to undo their blouses so he could measure them, but maintained he derived no sexual gratification from it. He also denied cupping or rubbing any of the complainants' breasts, as some of them alleged.

In its factum, the Crown notes that "no boys, notwithstanding their growth, size or shape, were touched in this fashion." Neither was M Trachy's daughter, who also played violin. It also says the perfesser didn't have a formula for how the measurement translated into shoulder rest adjustment, and had no rationale for how often the girls needed to be assessed.

The Crown alleges the trial judge made a number of errors, including oversimplified the allegations to focus exclusively on whether the accused acted with a sexual purpose. Prosecutors say sexual intention is only a necessary element of some of the charges, such as sexual interference, but does not need to be proven for others, such as sexual assault, which only requires that the touching be of a sexual nature. They argue as well that the trial judge failed to properly consider the evidence of an expert witness, who testified there was no justification for touching the students' breasts as part of a fitting, nor was it a known or documented practice.

As might be expected, counsel for the defence take the position that the appeal has no legal basis and the Crown is simply seeking a do-over of the trial. "Though framed in terms of legal error," their factum says, "the Crown's appeal amounts to a thinly disguised claim of 'unreasonable acquittal', a ground of appeal that does not exist in Canadian law." Their written submission continues, "Focusing primarily on the respondent's purpose for the touching was in no way improper because, in these circumstances, this was going to be the crucial issue determining proof of guilt."

Agent 3 discounts as an "inside joke" the rumour in legal circles that Donald Trump, Slick Willy Clinton and Creepy Joe Biden are seeking intervenor status in the case.

UPDATED: Ontario Premier Ford nixes "Progressive Conservative" resolution against teaching gender ideology

Agent 3 is in Toronto this weekend, following the annual convention of the Ontario Progressive Conservative [sic] Party. One of Walt's favourite conservatives, Tanya Granic Allen, is there, making the more mainstream Tories uncomfortable by reminding them that many people who voted them into office last June did so because they expected a PC government to reverse the course set by the previous Liberal government on matters such as "progressive" sex education and gender ideology.

Mrs Granic Allen has an axe to grind, having been dumped by PC leader Doug Ford just before the election in which can only be described as an act of political cowardice. Premier Ford, as he is now, didn't want to appear too politically correct, lest going too far rightward cost him the election. Mrs Granic Allen and her many followers voted for the PCs anyway, and are now calling in their markers.

At the convention today, they voted in favour of a resolution to no longer recognize gender identity theory, which the resolution calls "a highly controversial, unscientific liberal ideology. The actual wording of the resolution is:
Be it resolved that [the] Ontario PC Party recognizes "gender identity theory" for what it is, namely, a highly controversial, unscientific "liberal ideology"; and, as such, that an Ontario PC Government will remove the teaching and promotion of "gender identity theory" from Ontario schools and [their] curriculum.

Although the resolution was adopted as party policy, it is not binding on Mr Ford's Progressive Conservative government. However, Walt suggests to Mr Ford that he would do well to listen, as his government reconsiders the sex education curriculum, to the voice of the people who elected him. As a former PC prime minister of Canada once said, "It's a long road that has no ashcans!" [What does that actually mean? Ed.]

MEANWHILE, in Australia, which now has laws enshrining a person's right to choose their "gender identity", a conservative senator is taking the heat for comments during a debate on a proposed Day of the Unborn Child, in which he "declared [his] gender" to be female in an attempt to shield himself from criticism over his stance on abortion.

National Party Sen. Barry O'Sullivan made the comments in Parliament on Wednesday, saying he was tired of being attacked for his beliefs.

Senator O'Sullivan’s motion to ban pro-abortion activists from the Day of the Unborn Child failed 32-12.

UPDATE ADDED 20/11/18: Ontario's Premier Doug Ford, elected in June on his promise to respect the wishes of voters who are sick of having gender ideology rammed down their throats (or some other orifice) by "progressive" governments and the lamestream media, wimped out on this one, annouoncing yesterday that he would use every means possible to NOT give effect to the resolution passed by members of his own "Progressive Conservative" [sic] party.

Just another politician who says whatever it takes to get elected, and then turns his back on those who put him in office. The deporables -- see "Bernier's People's Party of Canada wows Toronto 'deplorables'", WWW 20/11/18 -- won't forget!

HS principal reported to HR police over "Black List"

Peggy Aitchison, the principal of the Etobicoke (Ontario) School of the Arts, has found out the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished, especially when the do-gooder is an educated white woman (read: Ms Aitchison) and the beneficiaries are less-educated black yoof.

The ESA is a surprisingly elitist high school run by the loony left Toronto District School Board, where students (of all races, faiths, yada yada, of course) can study drama [Perhaps to become future prime ministers? Ed.], meeja, film-making, music and dance -- all the artsy-fartsy stuff that will make them underproductive citizens when (if?) they grow up.

Pictures of the ESA student body reveal that the majority of the kids are white, which may or may not be odd since white folks are a minority in the Greater [sic] Toronto Area. But some of the students are black, or, as the Toronto Red Star styles it, "Black". And some of those kids -- the Black kids -- are, errr, underachieving. Concerned about how to bring these yoofs up to the level of their peers, Peggy Aitchison compiled a list of all "students of colour" at the school, which she passed out to teachers so they could give the underachievers extra help. You can see what's coming, can't you?

George Brown [sic], the parent of an 18-year-old student at ESA, found out about what he calls the "Black list", and filed what he says is a "human rights claim" against both Principal Aitchison and the TDSB. "It took the photos of the black students in the yearbook and places it beside their names," he told CTV News. "It is not being done on the basis of collected data. It is profiled!"

Mr Brown went on to explain that the list also placed students in categories based on mixed race. "You were in a different kind of category, as if you had some kind of white in your background, maybe you aren't, I guess, stupid. But you were put in another list is you were black from Africa or Jamaica." Hmmm.

At a meeting of parents earlier this month, Ms Aitchison admitted to creating the list, and apologized profusely, in the grand old Canadian tradition, saying that she only meant to help measure achievement at the school. "Upon reflection and discussion with others," she said, "I recognized that this was a limited, flawed, and ultimately inappropriate approach to identifying gaps in supports and so, that very same day, I retracted that compilation that was based solely on perception."

Mr Brown told CTV he doesn't accept the apology because her explanation "wasn't enough" for him. He and his son (who Walt assumes was on the Black list) say they want the TDSB to provide human rights training to all staff and to provide assurances that no more lists like the one found at ESA will ever be created. And they want Ms Aitchison should apologize to every student on the list individually.

Ms Aitchison responded by asking to be transferred to another school, and the TDSB said "So let it be written; so let it be done."

ON sex education - teacher sets example by screwing watermelon

When Walt and the good people at Parents As First Educators warned Ontario parents, years ago, that Premier Kathleen Wynne's new pervert-designed sex education curriculum would see deviant sex not just taught but encouraged in Ontario classrroms, there were some who accused us of homophobia, bigotry, and, worst of all, not being "progressive".

Besides, they said, people don't really do the really queer stuff, like having sex with vegetables. That's nonsense! I mean it's nonsense to say that people don't screw things of different species -- birds, animals, vegetables and (of course) fruits (meant in the literal sense). See "Sex with vegetables? The new curriculum was introduced anyway, and has been denounced ever since by fearless campaigners for morality such as Tanya Granic Allen. And it has been warmly [hotly? Ed.] embraced by teachers who partake of the perversions recommended in the document -- teachers such as Damir Bulic, 46, who is now on trial in Sudbury ON on four counts of performing an indecent act and one count of invite sexual touching, all allegedly involving the same male minor between September of 2010 and September of 2011. (The mills of justice grind mighty slow in Ontari-ari-ario.) The alleged indecent acts include exposing genitals to and masturbation in front of the then teen.

According to a student's testimony, Mr Bulic once demonstrated how he had sex with a watermelon. "We started having conversations about pornography and stuff," the student, now 19, recalled. "He showed me what he did with the watermelon. He had sex with it. He took a knife, cut a hole and had sex with it... I was three, four feet away. It was kind of weird ... It was pretty out of the blue that he did that. There was no indication he was going to do that."

The student said the sex happened when he was alone at Mr Bulic's home near the end of the school year or early summer in 2011. After the incident with the watermelon, the student said he and Bulic put some steaks on the barbecue and had a smoke and beer, something they frequently did. He said the incident did not affect his friendship with the teacher, as "I never really thought of it at that age."

The student said another masturbation incident occurred in a bush area near a ball field. He said the teacher sat on the hood of a vehicle and masturbated while he videotaped the act using either his Blackberry or Mr Bulic's phone. "He was on the car, sitting on the hood of the car," recalled the man. "It was suppertime, the evening. We were blocked by trees and bushes."

When asked what his reaction was, the former student said it was weird, but did not impact on the friendship he had with Mr Bulic. "It kept me saying 'this is more than just hanging out with a teacher,'" he said. "We never told each other we were 'besties'... I did assume he did trust me in doing these acts. He saw me as a trustworthy person, I guess."

Ah yes, a trustworthy person. After all, he was the kid's teacher! And masturbation is no biggie, right? Hey, it's in the lesbian Premier's new sex education curriculum, being taught to kids in elementary school. It must be OK! The student's mother, however, didn't think so. The boy and his girlfriend were talking at the family home in November of 2016 when the girlfriend told the mother the son had something to disclose to her about his relationship with Mr Bulic.

"I didn't encourage him," said the mother. "(The girlfriend) and him were talking amongst themselves. I stayed at the other end of the table. I didn't say a word... He asked (the girlfriend) to talk to me. She said 'it's OK, you can talk to your mom.'" The mother said that's when she learned about the watermelon incident. She also learned about a video that showed a woman giving the teacher oral sex, and that, during a trip to Mr Bulic's camp on Manitoulin Island in June 2011, the son was driving when he went into the ditch.

Asked if she was horrified at her son's new information, the mother said she was. The mother also said it confirmed what her gut had been telling her all along. Some things you just know are wrong, no matter what convicted pedophile (((Dr Benjamin Levin))) and other progressive pedagogues at the Ministry of Education, Truth and Love say.

The trial continues. So does the Kathleen Wynne's campaign for re-election at the provincial election to be held on June 7th.

VIDEO: Tanya Granic Allen dumped by Ontario "Conservatives"

Walt is dismayed -- make that pissed off in the extreme -- to have to report that the oxymoronical Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario and its newly-minted leader, Doug Ford, have caved to PC [not "Progressive Conservative" but "political correctness". Ed.] police and won't allow Tanya Granic Allen to run under the PC [not "politically corect" but "Progressive Conservative". Ed.] banner in June's provincial election.

The announcement comes after the Liberal Party of Ontario -- led by proud-to-be-lesbian Kathleen Wynne -- issued a news release Saturday afternoon, citing a 2014 video of Mrs Granic Allen criticizing sex education and gay marriage. Here's the clip from Toronto's CityNews.



If you didn't hear clearly, Mrs Granic said, in a speech at a Croatian-Catholic Youth weekend conference, "You know, now what I hear about Hrvatska (Croatia) trying to push radical sexual education on the young or gay marriage you know I almost vomit in disbelief. Just 20 years ago we were liberated from this communism but now we are embracing these lack of values, these lack of ideals."

In a statement posted to her Twitter page, the only true Christian conservative in the field said she was disappointed that she had been declared no longer a candidate, and will have more to say about the decision and Ontario politics in the near future. Walt will be listening!

For now, I withdraw my endorsement of Doug Ford and his PC ["Progressive Conservative" and now "politically correct" too! Ed.] Party. To get back in my good books, Mr Ford needs to ignore left-wing identity politics and address the wants and needs of the silent majority of Ontarians (outside the GTA). Trying to win over the elites of Toronto could cost him a majority, perhaps the entire election.

Trudeau's plan to reform Canadian immigration system

As reported on WWW several times last year, hordes of non-white "refugees" and asylum-seekers have been pouring into Canada from the USA through an "unautorized entry point" not from a proper border crossing near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, QC. They are being greeted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, whose function is to tell them that what they're doing is illegal, and if they cross the line in the sand [snow, shurely! Ed.] they will be detained and taken to Montréal, where they will be given food, clothing and accommodation for an indefinite period.

Last fall, the Minister of Refugees and Immigration -- a Somali refugee himself -- assured Canadians that once the cold winter weather set in, the numbers, which had been running at 150 per day in the summer, would fall. Not so. Earlier this month some 400 "refugees" from Haiti, Nigeria and other shithole countries crossed from the land of the free (etc) into Canuckistan, and were bused to Montréal to receive their Welcome Wagon hampers and welfare cheques.

Trouble is, Montréal and the province of Québec don't want them. Last Wednesday, Québec Premier Philippe Couillard called for help from the government of Canuck Prime Minister Just In Trudeau. According to the Toronto Red Star, M Couillard said Ottawa's response to his request for assistance on the refugee crisis reflects "a complete ignorance" of what's going on at the Lacolle border crossing.

"10/4!", said M Trudeau's minions, promising that the federal government will begin sending asylum-seekers directly to... wait for it... Ontario, if that is their preferred destination. Like Canada, Ontario is presently ruled by a Liberal government, that of proudly lesbian premier Kathleen Wynne, who is facing an election on June 7th, so is even more keen than Mr Socks to import some new Liberal voters.

A spokesthingy for Ontario Immigration Minister Laura Albanese said the province is working with Ottawa and Québec, but that it was too early to comment on details of how and where asylum-seekers might be transferred to Ontario. It's not clear yet whether the "refugees" will be flown, bused or sent on one of Canada's famous bullet trains, but those who indicate that they want to go to Toronto will soon be hustled out of Québec.

The City of Toronto (John Tory, prop.) is making plans to convert underused armories, schools, and hospitals into "refugee welcome centres". The city's normally pristine streets are being filled with dirt and debris, and loudspeakers installed to play recordings of gunfire and roosters crowing, so the newcomers can feel right at home.

Lesbian premier of Ontario warns yoofs: People like me will outvote you!

Agent 3 tells us that nearly half a century ago, he met Catherine Swift, who was then whipping up enthusiasm (= members + funds) for the newly-formed Canadian Federation of Independent Business, a pro-business and therefore mildly conservative organization which is still promoting free enterprise and freedom from unnecessary government. [Is there such a thing as "necessary government"? Ed.] Ms Swift went on to become Chair of the Board of the CFIB, and has since moved on to become spokesthingy for Working Canadians, which sounds to me like dangerously populist group.

As such, she does a lot of writing, some of it quite provocative, including the following short polemic which was picked up by the Niagara Independent, a new blog which looks like a worthwhile read for residents of the attractive side of the river.

A few weeks ago, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne made an astonishing statement. When speaking to a roomful of Humber college students, she urged them to make sure they voted in the upcoming June 7 provincial election.

If she had just left it there, it would have been a commendable reminder of the importance of participating in our democratic system to a group that might never have voted before and needed some extra encouragement to do so. But Wynne didn’t leave it there, but rather added the absurd and objectionable comment “If you don’t vote, then somebody who looks like me is going to vote, some senior person, older than me, some white person”.

Wow – the notion of old, white people actually voting? The horror!

Wynne has made a career of calling out others as racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist etc. when anyone opposes her views or policies, no matter how legitimate the criticism. It is particularly hypocritical for her to have made such an ageist, racist statement as she did to the college students.

This certainly did not demonstrate the “inclusiveness” that Wynne and her Liberal friends profess to practice. Instead it merely exposed the superficial nature of the Liberal brand and the divisive nature of identity politics that seeks to pit one group against another, no matter how corrosive that divisiveness is to society as a whole....

What Wynne likely had in mind in making this silly statement was the fact that young people have a track record of low voter turnout while a larger proportion of older voters do tend to get out and vote. Younger voters also have a higher likelihood of voting to the left of centre, exemplifying the old adage “If you are under 30 and not a socialist you have no heart, but if you are over 30 and not a capitalist, you have no brain”.

These realities are true not just in Ontario, but world-wide, as age and life experience have a habit of chipping away at youthful ideals that big government is a good thing and governments always have the best interests of citizens at heart. [My emphasis. Walt]

This ridiculous comment by Wynne did get some mention in the media but it was basically a one-day wonder. If a Conservative had said anything like this, it is likely we would still be reading about how unacceptable it was several weeks later. Although the mainstream press may have forgotten about this incident, I imagine there are many old, white folks who won’t when they head into the ballot box on June 7. And deservedly so.
