Renaming everything "America" or "American"? Not gonna happen

In the wake of President's Trump's widely mocked attempts to rename the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario, the Net has been inundated with memes like this.

Very funny, Doctor Jones. Very funny!" But let's get real here. Everyone knows that Canada Dry is the No. 1 brand of ginger ale in the US of A, and has been so since the daze of Prohibition because that's what you mix with Crown Royal or Canadian Club. [That's if you're an American with no taste. Canucks drink it neat or on the rocks. Ed.] And so it will always be.

What everyone, including the creator of this meme, do not know is there are already brands of ginger ale called "America Dry" and "American Dry".

America Dry has been around since at least the 1950s. Walt remembers its bottle cap -- silver with three blue stars and "America Dry" in red in the same font as that on the can. American ginger ale was but a pale imitation of the real thing...like American beer.

All ye need to know about Canada in one short story

The Bank of Canada is the entity owned by the people state of Canada which controls the money and the currency of the Great No-longer-white North. It is not to be confused with the Royal Bank of Canada, which is owned, albeit indirectly, by the people of Canada, i.e. its shareholders. It is called "Royal" only because it was created by a royal charter issued in the name of Queen Victoria, whose birthday is still celebrated on the 24th of May.

Queen Victoria was the great-grandmother of Mrs Philip Mountbatten-Windsor, who, under the name of Elizabeth II, was Queen of Canada (and her other realms and territories) for over 70 years until her death nearly four years ago. For the last 40 years of her reign Canada was officially independent, but the Canadians -- like children learning to ride a bike without training wheels -- kept her image on the currency issued by the Bank of Canada until... now.

The currency of Canuckistan is officially called the dollar. Unofficially it's known as the "beaverbuck" or other less salubrious names. The one-dollar coin is known as the "loonie", which seems apt. 

With the fourth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death fast approaching, the Bank of Canada felt considerable pressure from diehard monarchists to put a picture of her successor on at least some of the banknotes. That person is none other than Charles Philip Arthur George, first-begotten son of Liz and Phil the Greek, as her consort was affectionately known. 

A real Charlie he is, and now he's King Charles III, and has been so for (as I said) nearly four years. "The Queen is dead; long live the King!". 

Why did it take the Bank of Canada so long to issue new notes bearing the royal likeness? [Looks more like his younger brother Andrew to me. Ed.] Walt's sources in the world's second-coldest capital city say that the new design had been on the drawing board for years prior to Charlie's mums death, but the government of Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface, on whose watch QEII expired, didn't want to make any sudden changes and blow its chances of being re-elected.

Besides, it's not the Canadian way to do anything quickly. It was said of former Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King that he never did anything by halves which could be done by quarters. So King Charles's face appeared (in profile, sadly) on the quarters first. And now... at last... this.

But wait! Although the announcement was made and the new design released today, the new banknotes will not be generally available until next February. A limited quantity will be available in packages of 50, in brown paper envelopes addressed to Rt. Hon. Marx Carney, Ottawa. If you need such, ask your local Liberal MP.

Your Sikhs today: Brampton Mann in fraud schemes worth C$4.3 million

Meet the team of "trusted professionals" at PJ Mann Law Professional Corporation, a law firm based in Brampton ON, the capital of the government-in-exile of Khalistan.

You'll note that none of these "trusted professionals" is wearing a turban. And there's only one PoC, who isn't brown but black. That's odd, considering that PJ Mann LPC was founded (and until recently operated) by Pawanjeet Singh Mann, who Walt suspects may have been a sole practitioner. By that I mean, there was no team, just him... as far as Ed.'s research indicates. 

Who's running the practice -- which spcializes in immigration, visas and real estate -- now is a mystery. You see, Mr Mann is a former lawyer, having been disbarred by the Law Society of Ontario in July of 2025 after an LSO tribunal found him guilty of knowingly participating in a mortgage fraud scheme in 2019. 

Mr Mann is now facing multiple fraud charges after allegedly he orchestrated four separate schemes involving mortgage and cheque fraud that resulted in approximately C$4.3 million (over $3 million in real money) in losses.

Inspector Singh (no relation) of the Peel Region Police said the investigation began after the Fraud Bureau received multiple complaints between June and July alleging Mann was involved in fraudulent activity. Investigators allege Mann orchestrated four separate mortgage and cheque fraud schemes, causing approximately $4.3 million in losses to victims, many of whom were fellow Sikhs who trusted him because he was one of them.

He has been charged with four counts each of fraud over $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime, along with three counts of criminal breach of trust and two counts of uttering forged documents. If convicted he might be stripped of his citizenship (or permanent resident status if he hasn't yet become a citizen of Canuckistan) so as to be deported... but don't bet on it.

Revenge for "Lake America" - "Av Trump Ave" to be renamed?

The blowback from President Trump's purported renaming of Lake Ontario to "Lake America" increases by the hour. The mojo wire just spat out a report that the city council of Ottawa, the capital of Canuckistan, is searching for a new name for "Av Trump Ave" (it's a bilingual sign, see), a small street in a quiet subdivision in the city's west end.

Wikipedia says the street was "indirectly named" for the Donald. In fact the developers who turned an experimental farm into the Central Park subdivision in the 1990s named the street directly after the infamous real-estate developer for explicitly articulated marketing reasons.

All the streets in Central Park contain themed references to the tony parts of the Big Apple, but alas, there is no original "Trump Avenue" in NYC, so they just made that one up. In the `90s, the Trump name had connotations of glitz, wealth and commercial vision rather than the overweening egotism and self-destructive foolishness with which we associate it today. See our previous post.

Writing in the Notional Pest, Colby Cosh says, "Trump is now the world’s most notorious practitioner of crazed onomastic revision itself! And, as we all know, his amour-propre has the size and flammable nature of a zeppelin: he will actually feel indignant and aggrieved if he gets wind that the impulsively named Trump Avenue has suddenly been re-branded." 

What would he do then? Where will this all end up? Walt is making popcorn...

Regular readers of WWW know that Walt was a strong suporter of DJT's bids for election and re-election. We liked the idea of Making America Great Again, and wished President Trump good luck. But even then, we took him cum grano salis. 

Now we can only avert our gaze as he makes a fool of himself and of the US of A on the world's stage. It's embarrassing. And we can't even advise the Donald to quit while he's ahead, because... he's not ahead. He's losing. And it can only get worse.

Your Sikhs today: Mississippi edition

Walt is aware  that it's not only Canada that has a problem with ubiquitous and iniquitous Sikh truck drivers -- many of them illegal aliens -- smuggling drugs and endangering other motorists. (WWW passim.)  The US of A is also plagued with them, although problems in America tend to be not so much with smuggling as with motor mayhem.

Case in point: On August 20th, the driver of an 18-wheeler struck and killed a pedestrian in Hinds County MS. According to @BorderHawk, Dedric Garrett, 36, exited his vehicle on I-20 just after 1330 when he was hit by a Freightliner tractor-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) identified the driver of the big rig as Sube Singh (not exactly as pictured), a 26-year-old resident of Fresno CA. He was not injured in the crash, and it remains unclear [Wut? Ed.] if he will face charges. 

The Department of Homeland Security confirms that Mr Singh is a citizen of India who has been in the US of A illegally for over eight years. 

A DHS statement says, "Border Patrol encountered Singh on November 19, 2017. He was released from ICE custody on bond on May 10, 2018, and is enrolled in an alternative to detention with a GPS monitor, 

"It is incredibly dangerous for illegal aliens, who often don’t know our traffic laws or even English, to be operating vehicles on America’s roads. [Duh! Ed.] DHS is aggressively working with its interagency partners to get illegal alien commercial drivers off the road."

The Daily Wire, which separately confirmed Mr Singh's status with the department, reported that he was wearing the federal tracker while driving the rig. Turning Point USA executive producer Andrew Kolvet wrote that Mr Singh is at least the fifth Indian national with the surname "Singh" tied to a deadly American crash.

Harjinder Singh killed three people on the Florida Turnpike in August of 2025. He was making an illegal U-turn. Two months later, Jashanpreet Singh ran his rig into stopped traffic on I-10 in Ontario CA, killing three. In July he was sentenced to four years and eight months imprisonment, "a slap on the wrist" according to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

In May, California prosecutors charged Manvir Singh with vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run after a wreck that killed a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man. DHS used the case to push Congress on Dalilah’s Law, which would stop states from handing commercial licenses to illegal aliens. 

Secretary Duffy recently finalized a rule shutting unqualified foreign drivers out of the commercial licensing system. In 2025 alone, federal officials blamed "non-domiciled drivers" for at least 17 fatal crashes and 30 deaths.

Your Sikhs today: Déjà vu all over again

Seems like just yesterday -- in fact it was over two months ago -- that we posted "Your Sikhs today: Blue Water Bridge edition" in which we reported how long-haul truck drivers, most of them graduates of the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving, routinely enter Canada from the US of A at the Blue Water Bridge which links Port Huron MI and Point Edward ON, smuggling large amounts of cocaine and other recreational drugs.

The Canadian authorities keep announcing seizures and arrests, pretending that they have the criminal activity of the Sikh drug lords under control, but the perps rarely get lengthy sentences and, in spite of often being in Canada illegally (as "foreign students" or "temporary workers" who've overstayed their ill-gotten visas) are almost never deported.

Almost every week we read yet another crime news story which gives the lie to the Liberal government of Canuckistan's claim that their border controls are effective. Here, in its entirety, is the Global TV News report of an incident which happened on August 13th. 

Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) says it has seized nearly 400 kilograms of suspected cocaine from a truck passing through the Ontario-US border. The seizure happened at the Blue Water Bridge port of Entry in Point Edward on Aug. 13, the CBSA said in a news release Tuesday.

A commercial truck was passing through when it was referred for secondary examination. It was then that officials allegedly found roughly 385 kilograms of suspected cocaine. The driver was arrested, and the RCMP charged them with importing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

That's it. That's all a major lickspittle media outlet had to say. Nothing about the nationality, race or religion of the unidentified truck drive. Nothing to identify which of the many iterations of Diversity Truck Lines owned the big rig. Fortunately, a small newspaper, the Sarnia Observer, dared to supply some details. To wit:

The driver, not identified in the [CBSA] news release, was charged with importing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Harinder Singh, 28, of Brampton, was arrested Aug. 13 in Point Edward and charged with importing cocaine and possessing cocaine for trafficking, court records show.

Singh has appeared in court in Sarnia multiple times since his arrest, records show. The charges have not been tested in court.

"This significant seizure of cocaine demonstrates the professionalism and expertise of border services officers working at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry," said Michael Prosia, CBSA regional director general for southern Ontario, in the release. "Every day, they are working with law enforcement partners to secure Canada’s border and prevent harm in our communities."

I don't believe we've ever postsed two music videos in a row, let alone three, but the news this week, ranging from ridiculous to depressing, is such that Walt just can't bear to write about it. It's time for an interlude!

Accordingly, we are pleased to present, from the library of rightly forgotten music, "Italian Street Song" from "Music to Suffer By", a 1957 LP by Leona Anderson. As you can read below, Ms Anderson was a star of the silent screen. When you listen to this, you'll know why her career faltered with the coming of "talkies".

 

Leona Anderson (née Aronson) was born on 3 April 1885 in St. Louis MO. She was the younger sister of Broncho Billy Anderson, who co-founded Essanay Studios in Chicago in 1907, for which company she appeared in several films, beginning in 1914, without much success.

In 1915, she appeared with Charlie Chaplin in the Essanay Studios comedy In the Park. In 1922, she starred opposite Stan Laurel in the comedy Mud and Sand, a spoof of the Rudolph Valentino film Blood and Sand.

In 1953, Ms Anderson revived her career in music, billing herself as "the world's most horrible singer". Who could argue with that? She became a favorite of comedian Ernie Kovacs and appearing several times on his TV show. Mr Kovacs' widow, Edie Adams, later recalled that "She (Anderson) knew she was camp, but she was very funny, and very sweet."

Discography: In 1953, Leona Anderson recorded a single, "Fish", for a small New York City record label. The song would later appear on the 1997 CD "The Ernie Kovacs Record Collection." This led Columbia Records to issue two singles by Anderson in 1954–55. This was followed by "Music to Suffer By" published by Unique Records in 1957, later reissued in 2011 on Trunk Records. 

"Music to Suffer By" featured Ms Anderson slaughtering several classics and standards, such as Georges Bizet's "Habanera" from Carmen and Cole Porter's "I Love Paris", as well as new material such as "Rats in My Room" and "Limburger Lover". By the late 1950s, she had become widely known for her bad singing, which was apparently an act she created to mock the pompous style of serious opera singers; "Opera singers just can't kid themselves properly," she said. "They can never let their voices go."

Leona Anderson came to Walt's attention and affection for her recording of the theme song for some of the Bob and Ray radio shows on WINS, New York. Yes, we have the video... well, the audio...

Leona Anderson's final film appearance was as the frightening Mrs. Slydes in the 1959 horror film House on Haunted Hill, starring Vincent Price and directed by the legendary William Castle. She died in Fremont CA in 1973, at the age of 88.

Celebrating 35 years of Ukrainian independence

 

Ukraine gained its modern independence on 24 August1991, when the country's parliament adopted the Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, as the Soviet Union began to dissolve. On 1 December 1991 over 90% of Ukrainian voters approved the independence declaration in a national referendum. On 26 December 1991, the Soviet Union officially dissolved itself, and the global community of nations recognized Ukraine as a free country.

"Slava Ukraini!" (Слава Україні!) is a Ukrainian national salute meaning "Glory to Ukraine!". It serves as a symbol of Ukrainian sovereignty, resistance, and national pride, and is the official military salute of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The customary response to "Slava Ukraini!" is "Heroiam slava!" (Героям слава!), which means "To the heroes — glory!"

VIDEO (BANNED in Ireland) exposé of Ireland's immigrant invasion

Folks who knew me in the daze of my youth might have described me as "Black Irish". That's an informal term used mainly outside of Eire to describe people of Irish descent who have dark hair, dark eyes, and complexions that tan easily, differing from the stereotypical image of red hair and pale skin. It is not a recognized genetic or official ethnic category.

Today, in the auld sod, liberal politicians are trying to create a different kind of "Black Irish", as they welcome dusky-hued "refugees" and asylum-seekers, who are taking advantage of Ireland's lax EU-dictated immigration laws. Suddenly the streets of Dublin are full of immigrant invaders, mostly from Africa, enjoying all the benefits (many of them unavailable to native Irish) conferred by a woke socialist government. 

In this video,Tyler Oliveira, an American journalist who specializes in man-on-the-street interviews, visits Ireland to talk with these "refugees" and asylum-seekers, and with the real Irish people who think they should go back to whence they came.

Walt has lost count of the number of times we've posted, stories (under our headline "Your Sikhs today") about the menace on roads across the US of A and Canada posed by students and graduates of the Singh School of Truck Driving.

Diversity Truck Lines, a portmanteau name encompassing hundreds of "chameleon carriers" operate unsafely (putting it mildly) on hundreds of long-haul routes, crossing US-Canadian border at entry points such as the Blue Water Bridge. 

In this video, Rebel News reporter David Menzies reveals that... wait for it... Brampton ON is the headquarters for dozens of these Sikh O&O companies. He goes to the registered address of LD Trans Line Ltd., which had its licence revoked by Ontario authorities in January for repeated countless safety violations and falsifying the number of hours drivers were on the road. 

 

If you want to read the report in print, click on "Ontario trucking company stripped of licence over safety violations". Mr Menzies asks a pointed and pertinent question. How long will it be until the same Singhs are back on the road under a different name. This one victory is only temporary.

Both companies pay quarterly dividends with good yields. Full disclosure: Walt has positions in both companies and looks for good things as President Trump's actions give the lie to  his repeated assertions that America doesn't need Canadian oil. Ha!

NOT your Sikhs today: Southwestern Ontario edition

What/where (Walt hears you ask) is Walpole Island? Answer: Walpole Island, known as Bkejwanong in Anishinaabemowin, is an "unceded" Indian First Nation territory in southwestern Ontario, Canada. Located at the mouth of the St. Clair River on Lake St. Clair, it is home to the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples.

Given its location, and the claim of the indigenes that the land was never ceded to the British crown and is thus not shackled by White Man's Law, Walpole Island has become something of a haven for drug and human traffickers. 

Protestations of sovereignty and immunity fell on deaf ears recently as Ontario Provincial Police capped a major drug trafficking investigation with three arrests and the seizure of more than C$1.28 million (about $928,000 in real  money) in illicit drugs, firearms, stolen vehicles, cash and other property. 

The OPP’s Lambton County Community Street Crime Unit began investigating suspected drug trafficking on Walpole Island First Nation in April. On July 17th, search warrants were executed at two residences in London ON, resulting in the seizure of large quantities of suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, along with multiple firearms, stolen vehicles, Canadian currency and other evidence. 

Two men in their late 20s and a woman, 28, described in Canad's lickspittle media as "London residents", face numerous charges under the Criminal Code of Canada, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Highway Traffic Act. 

Charges included are: possession of prohibited or restricted firearms, possession of property obtained by crime, trafficking in fentanyl, cocaine and opioids, and using or making forged documents. 

Two of the accused were remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on Friday, after which they will be released. The third (likely the woman) has already been released and is set to appear in court on September 14th. It's the Canadian way.

Regular readers of "Your Sikhs today" may have jumped to the conclusion that the accused are Sikhs. Surprise! They are Pakistan Muslims: ✅Saad Khan ✅Saleh Khan, and ✅Fathima Fahim. Police say the group, whose citizenship status (or lack thereof) was not disclosed was flooding the streets of London, surrounding communities in Lambton County, Native reserves, and the Chatham-Kent region of southern Ontario.

Big Sister (?) is watching you, and ratting you out to the thought police

Dear gentle reader, fasten your seatbelt please for you are about to see a frightening invasion of privacy and persoanal space, perpetrated in the name of Righteous Wokeism, posted on a social medium called "StoopAntisemitism" by someone [named "Karen" perhaps? Ed.] who was flying on an American Airlines flight from Miami to JFK on Sunday. Ready?

And guess what, campers. Not only did this nosey busybody stick her phone over her [Yes, we're making an assumption. Ed.] fellow passenger's shoulder and take a picture of his cellphone, she reported him to the cabin crew! Since you may not be able to see from the photo above what caused her such offence, here's a closeup.

The man appeared to be exchanging messages with a colleague about a business deal. What he said that put a burr under the snoop's saddle was "I'll take care of the kike once and for all." "Kike" is a derogatory term -- a very old-fashioned one -- for a Jewish person.   

We do not know if the person was of the Jewish faith -- are there any Jews in Dade County? --  but we do know that she made enough of a fuss to cause the AA crew to report the "incident" to the FAA.

It was not immediately clear what the man meant by the phrase "take care of". Perhaps the person he referred to was elderly or infirm. Nor do we know whether the language amounted to anything beyond an offensive private message. There is also no suggestion that the passenger made a threat against anyone aboard the aircraft or that the alleged message was connected to the flight itself. 

The episode has sparked a debate online not only over the language allegedly used, but over whether a fellow passenger should have been reading, photographing or publicizing another person's private messages in the first place. 

Some commenters were appalled by the alleged anti-Semitic slur and argued that a message visible to strangers in the confines of an airplane cabin could hardly be considered completely private. Others said that no matter how offensive the words may have been, secretly capturing another person's private correspondence and exposing it publicly crossed a line. 

One person wrote, "A private person’s private communication is not fair game for public exposure simply because its contents are offensive. There is a fundamental difference between confronting public speech and policing private conversations. You should strongly consider deleting this."

Another critic similarly argued that the message, while offensive, was still part of a private exchange that had never been intended for the surrounding passengers. "This is ridiculous. Obviously he doesn't love Jews, but how many of you here have written PRIVATE texts to others referring to some groups of people with derogatory terms?"

A third comment reads, "This is not communist Russia (yet) where we spy on what people say in private. Antisemitism is real, but it's not doing us any favors to go after people and their private conversations."

Yet another person expressed disbelief that a passenger's phone screen had apparently become the subject of scrutiny from someone sitting nearby. "So now you can’t even text in public without some nut job recording your conversation??? How do they know exactly what this man was referring to??? Insane!"

"Insane" indeed! But this is what the Land of the Free has become in the Age of Woke. Watch your language eh!

The Hon. Stockwell "Doris" Day Jr is a former Canadian politician who served as leader of the Canadian Alliance from 2000 to 2001 and later as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. He then held several cabinet portfolios under Prime Minister Steve Harpoon, including that of "Minister of Public Safety", and was widely seen as a prominent voice for social conservatives within the Conservative Party.

Mr Day emerged from his burrow six months late this year, with this dire warning for Canadians about the perils of admitting too many Third-Worlders who cannot or will not assimilate to their hosts' culture, bringing with them instead their barbaric cultural practices, which they expect the hosts to respect and adopt.

Don't think, dear reader, that just because you live in a country which is not entirely ruled by liberal elites [i.e. the US of A! Ed.] this doesn't apply to you. Listen up! 

There's just one thing wrong with Mr Day's message. You'll hear it right at the beginning when he says Canada is "not wide open." Sadly, it is! The invaders have prevailed, and Canada has become Canuckistan. 

Too late to ask  now, "How did they get it? What can we do to keep them out?" Whenever a raghead or burrhead wants to enter Canada, all he has to do is walk across the World's Longest Undefended Border TM at any "unauthorized crossing point" such as Roxham Road, near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC.

"According to court records, after spending some time in the U.S. and Mexico, Singh entered Canada by foot between ports of entry in Quebec in January 2025 and made a refugee claim." The notorious Roxham Road border crossing -- the one the story referred to in the NP story -- has supposedly been closed now. A "No Entry" sign has been posted and there are no longer Mounties there to carry the bogus refugees' luggage (minimum tip $5 per bag). But there are "unauthorized entry points" all along the remaining 1000s of miles of open borders. Mr Day is quite right about what's going to happen... nooooo, what's happening already!

Your Sikhs today: Singh Uber all us

If you're ordering a ride from Uber, can you ask for a white, native-born driver? Wouldn't that be racist? 

Walt thinks such a question would be only prudent, considering the frequency of incidents like one which occurred in Burlington ON last month. 

Halton Region cops have charged an Uber driver -- Mandeep Singh -- after a woman was sexually assaulted twice in Burlington last month. 

Inspector Singh (no relation) said the woman was in the parking lot of the Burlington GO station on June 16th at 1715 when a driver approached her. During their conversation, the driver allegedly sexually assaulted the woman. 

Police said the victim left [presumably on foot. Ed] but the driver followed her to a nearby business, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her for the second time. 

The driver was later identified as 25-year-old Mandeep Singh, a graduate of the Singh School of Truck Driving who was employed as an Uber driving at the time. Police said he was arrested on Sunday, and has been charged with two counts of sexual assault. 

We are unable to get any information about the terms on which he was released from bail. He may be driving a ride-share vehicle somewhere in the Grerater Toronto Area [sikh] right now. Police are concerned that there may be additional victims, so if you see him, call 1-888-222-SIKH immediately!.

Glaring apostrophe error in a book about law for the layman

Ed. has just renewed his membership in the Grammar Police. He has this advice for those who aspire to be published writers.

Apostrophes give many writers a lot of trouble. Sometimes, you might be tempted to put an apostrophe where it does not belong, such as when you are simply making a word plural. 

Other times, you need to make a word possessive, but you might forget to use the apostrophe. 

Then, of course, there is that whole its / it’s thing that confuses most everyone. Remember, the rule is to use an apostrophe when you need to show possession or ownership. 

The exception is with possessive pronouns such as my, your, his, hers, ours, their, and its. "Its" shows ownership while "it’s" is a contraction for "it is". So, just like "hers" and "his" are possessive pronouns that don’t use an apostrophe to show possession, "its" follows the same format.

Answer: "Juror's", "Sheriff's", "Bailiff's", and "Justice's" are all WRONG, using the possessive form where the plural is wanted. This is not a joke, but a real book, advertised on the Thriftbooks website. We'll have to give the author a pass, as he's obviously a product of American education. And yes, "we'll" and "he's" are correct. They are contractions of "we will" and "he is".

Pope Leo XIII laid the groundwork for the Oath Against Modernism (click here for complete text) which was promulgated by Pope St. Pius X in on 1 September 1910, via his Moto Proprio Sacrorum antistitum.  

At the core of the Oath are four key tenets of the Catholic Faith.

Reason and God: God's existence can be proven with certainty by human reason using the natural light of created things. 

External Proofs: Divine revelation and miracles are real, historical, and valid signs of the Christian religion's origin.

Divine Institution: The Church was historically founded by the real Christ and built upon Saint Peter. 

Immutable Dogma: Church dogmas possess absolute, unchanging meaning and do not evolve into entirely new concepts over time. [The emphasis is Walt's.]

Pope Paul VI presumably swore the Oath Against Modernism when he was ordained as a priest, since doing so was required at that time. Yet in 1967 he purported to abolish the Oath and replace it with a watered down "Profession of Faith". 

That was only a foretaste of what was to come, a first step on the path to Francis' and Leo's New Church of the New World Order. Walt anticipates the promulgation of a new "Oath For Modernism", to which all who want to be in "full communion" with the Church will be required to subscribe. God save us! St. Thomas More, pray for us.  

UPDATED: Radical Islamist attacks followers of "Rev." James Martin

As Walt pointed out a mere six weeks ago, homosexuality -- the lifestyle and the acts, not the people suffering from this disorder -- is condemned in Islam, just as it is in Christianity. A Catholic (in name, anyway) priest who begs to disagree is Father James Martin, S.J., the leading apostle (in America) of all things gay. He is called out by name in the video in "Bad shepherds are leading the faithful to hell!", WWW 1/8/21.  

The ever-increasing number of "Pride events" -- days, weeks, months, parades, festivals and other queer-ins -- has given rise to an increasing number of anti-gay types who are sick, sore and tired of all this "We're here, we're queer!" nonsense. 

One person who has acted on his righteous indignation is a follower of the Prophet -- Abdul Ballout, a German citizen of Lebanese background -- who is now the subject of a massive manhunt in Germany after a suspected "Islamist terror attack" at a Berlin Pride event last night.

One woman is dead and at least 29 injured after a van drove into a crowd. The suspect then attacked people with a blade that "might have been a machete." [It might have been a scimitar too, but "machete" is easier to spell. Ed.]

Herr Ballout was known to die Polizei and had previously "committed a number of crimes." He is still at large, but the cops have taken several people into custody in relation to the attack, according to German media. Die Zeit reports that some of those taken into custody have now been released, while others remain in custody.

Inspector Katzenjammer of the Berlin constabulary reportedly told journalists that if police cannot assign suspicions of a crime to those detained, then they must be released within 48 hours. It's still unclear if the suspect named as Abdul Ballout is believed to have acted alone, or with accomplices. 

Equally unclear, to hear the cops tell it, is the motive for the attack. But, warns the German Minister of the Interior, "We cannot rule out the possibility of copycat attacks." 

An angry German Chancellor Fred Merz (pictured) added that extremists "have no place in our society", vowing to do everything in the government's power to see justice served.

UPDATE ADDED 27/7/26 @ 0515 FMT: Die Polizei found the killer yesterday, hiding in a shed in the Spandau district of Berlin. They shot and killed him. No trial. 

One bleeding heart liberal has already commented that this shows why we need Pride Parades. Well, it does get `em all together in one place so you can attach them en masse, if you are so inclined.

Your Sikhs today: Diversity Truck Lines in $98 million drug bust

Before Walt answers the question "How do you know they're Sikhs?", let's read the entire story as it was reported today by one of Canada's top three agencies of the lickspittle media. [He means CTV News. Ed.]

A cross-border investigation involving police and border agencies in Canada and the U.S. has resulted in the seizure of nearly 1.7 tonnes [3.74 tons] of illegal drugs. Authorities are calling "Project Bay" one of Ontario’s largest single-investigation drug busts. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than $139 million [$98 million in real money].

According to police, the investigation targeted the importation and trafficking of illegal drugs linked to the Canada-U.S. border. The investigation started in January 2025 when police in Windsor ON launched a drug-trafficking probe. A month later, the Canada Border Services Agency joined the investigation as officers worked to identify a cross-border trafficking network.

Authorities said the investigation uncovered a broker-style operation within the commercial trucking industry that allegedly exploited established transportation networks to move illegal drugs across the border. Investigators allege the operation arranged for drivers to knowingly transport illicit substances through legitimate supply chains.

Police said the investigation also relied on support from several law enforcement partners. U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration assisted with the international aspects of the case, while Toronto police and Peel Regional Police provided operational and investigative support.

On June 25, investigators used 18 search warrants at homes and businesses in Windsor, Corunna, LaSalle, Brampton and Kleinburg. On July 14, two search warrants were used in Markham and Caledon, and on July 20, two search warrants were used in Brampton.

Considering that the CTV version doesn't list any names or other information which would identify the accused, I hear you asking: How do I know there are Sikhs involved? I've highlighted the clues contained in the text.

A message to today's Traditional Catholics from Saint Athanasius

It was when I was working with the Fatima Priest, Father Nicholar Gruner+, that I learned about Saint Athanasius of Alexandria. St. Athanasius was beloved of Father Gruner for having dared to stand up for the True Faith in opposition to the Arian Heresy embraced in the 4th century A.D. by secular rulers and the majority of churchmen, up to and including Pope Liberius.

St. Athanasius "whose very gift it was, above all other Fathers, to possess a clear and accurate knowledge of the Catholic doctrine," was born in Alexandria, Egypt, near the end of the 3rd century A.D. Christianity was well-rooted in Alexandria at that time, yet it was also the centre of a growing theological error regarding the fundamental Christian doctrine of the Trinity. This error would be fervently promoted by the Alexandrian priest, Arius, from whom it derives its name of "Arianism". 

The defense of the orthodox Faith in opposition to Arianism would largely define the life of St. Athanasius. The serious nature of this heresy and the dispute it occasioned led to the calling by the Emperor Constantine of the first Ecumenical Council of the Church -- the Council of Nicaea -- in A.D. 325.

Assisting the bishop of Alexandria at this council was the young deacon, Athanasius. There, the orthodox formulation of the Nicene Creed declared that the Son of God was truly God, begotten, not made, and of the same substance as the Father. 

Despite the dogmatic definition of Nicaea, the Arian Heresy persisted. With undaunted courage, Athanasius continued the struggle against this denial of the Divinity of Christ, which brought him up against powerful churchmen and even Emperors. Despite being exiled on five separate occasions and even excommunicated by Pope Liberius in 357 A.D., Athanasius persisted in his defence of the orthodox doctrine. 

The purported excommunication of this champion of the true Faith was controversial at the time and for centuries aftrerward. As Athanasius pointed out in charity when he refused to accept the validity of the excommunication, Pope Liberius had been imprisoned and issued this condemnation under pressure from his captors. No doubt that mitigated somewhat his responsibility. Nevertheless, Liberius was the first pope never recognized as a saint. 

Historian Cornelius Clifford says in his account: "Athanasius was the greatest champion of Catholic belief on the subject of the Incarnation that the Church has ever known and in his lifetime earned the characteristic title of 'Father of Orthodoxy', by which he has been distinguished ever since." 

St. John Henry Newman describes St. Athanasius as a "principal instrument, after the Apostles, by which the sacred truths of Christianity have been conveyed and secured to the world."

Here is one of the saints writings which resonates loudly today, as Traditional Catholics are denounced and bullied by the Vatican, and called "excommunicate", "schismatic" and even "a Protestant sect", by churchmen who, by all objective measures, have embraced heresy and apostasy.

Let us pray. "O Lord Jesus Christ, we recall to mind how St. Athanasius defended Thee and the true teachings of Thy Holy Church even at the risk of his career and life, relying always for strength and comfort on his faith in Thee and his love for Thy Blessed Mother, Mary. Even when his foes stripped him of his priestly offices and worldly goods, this holy saint remained steadfast and true always, revealing the lies and treachery of Thine enemies and earning the love of Thy people.

"O Blessed Lord, through the intercession of this great saint, we beseech Thee to raise up pastors filled with faith, charity, truth, and apostolic zeal, capable of guiding souls in fidelity to the Church and to Catholic Tradition. We ask Thee also to strengthen our faith and love and apportion to us the zeal of St. Athanasius so that we too may totally serve Thee without reserve, hesitation of fear. Amen."

Suspicions confirmed! A disproportionate number of criminals are aliens

We run a lot of stories -- by which I mean reports, not made-up stories -- about immigrants (legal and illegal) who commit crimes without regard for the law or customs of the countries which have welcomed them. Like the one below, posted earlier today.  

We've been focusing on Sikhs because their slice of the diversity pie seems to contain more bad apples than other pieces. However, of the 32 accused in the organized retail theft ring busted by Hamilton ON police, only 12 (based on the "Singh" name) are Sikhs. And none of those listed has been identified as an immigrant. The Authorities in the AABC countries don't like to talk about where the miscreants come from for fear of fanning the flames of anti-immigrant backlash.

The silence of the bleeding heart liberals on the immigrant crime issue doesn't stop, but actually increases our suspicions. But how to find out for sure? The government of the Disunited Kingdom has come under great pressure recently to make public its statistics on crimes committed by non-nationals.  

A few months before the general election of 2024, a backbench amendment to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Sentencing Bill would have required the government a report to Parliament annually detailing the nationality, visa and asylum status of every offender convicted in English and Welsh courts in the previous 12 months. Sounds like a good idea to me, but the Bill was ditched due to the election.

However, there is publicly available information on the demographics of Britain's prison population, which suggess stark disparities in crime rates among different nationalities living in the UK. According to a 2024 report in The Telegraph, foreigners overall were 27% more likely to be imprisoned than British citizens. 

Certain ethnic groups were significantly more overrepresented, with Albanians having an imprisonment rate of 232.33 out of 10,000 people, compared to a rate of 14 out of 10,000 for British citizens. Other high crime rate groups included Kosovars (150), Vietnamese (148.88), Algerians (124.41), Jamaicans (110.77), Eritreans (110.7), Iraqis (104.43), and Somalis (100.37). 

Conversely, some migrant groups had a lower imprisonment rate than their British counterparts, including Germans (4.68), Italians (4.96), Indians (6.24), Greeks (6.36), Americans (7.27), Sri Lankans (8.17), French (8.64), and Chinese (9.39). 

Commenting on the refusal of the government to release full crime statistics, Reform UK MP Robert Jenrick said, "The cover-up continues. Successive Tory and Labour justice secretaries have refused to publish this basic information. A Reform government led by Nigel Farage would immediately blow the lid on what’s really happening and begin deporting these dangerous criminals."

That's Not-so-great Britain. Walt's guess is that the ethnic mix of those incarcerated in the US of A would be different. Surely there can't be so many Albanians in American jails. But Eritreans and Somalis, well, they're criminals of a slightly darker colour (although all are mostly Muslim). 

In Canada you'd find more Jamaicans and still more Sikhs, although the latter could be identified by country of origin as Indian or Pakistan. In Australia? Who knows? One generalization which we can make without fear of contradiction is that a good deal of crime in the AABC countries is the work of immigrants from the third world. There's a lesson there which our governments seem unable to learn.

Your Sikhs today: Home Depot edition

Hamilton ON police announced this week that they have rounded up more than 30 of the usual suspects -- at least 12 of them Sikhs -- in "Project Checkout", an investigation into organized retail theft targeting Home Depot stores. The four-month probe was launched after police noticed a 25% increase in thefts from the American D-I-Y chain.

According to their statement, "What began as a series of shoplifting investigations quickly revealed an organized operation. Investigators found organized groups were stealing high-value tools and construction equipment from Hamilton Home Depot stores before reselling the items through online marketplaces at prices well below retail."

Police allege that in several incidents, suspects "threatened violence when store employees attempted to intervene." They say two search warrants were subsequently carried out at a commercial property and residence where hundreds of suspected stolen tools and other items believed to be connected to the the theft ring were recovered. A 2021 RAM TRX, valued at about C$100,000 ($70,000 in real money), was also seized.
