The ongoing "deculturation of Europe" can only result in the destruction of Western civilzation

Ray Oliver Dreher Jr, aka Rod Dreher, is an American conservative writer and editor living in Hungary. He is a critic of large-scale immigration to the US of A and Europe, and a staunch defender of  the concept of Western civilization.

Mr Dreher has been condemned by the usual suspects for his on Jean Raspail's 1973 novel The Camp of the Saints. To be fair, he strongly criticized the novel's use of derogatory language to describe non-Westerners and called the book bad, both aesthetically and morally. But he also referred to the "valuable" and "prophetic" lessons that can be drawn from the work, including from Raspail's argument, which Dreher presents as potentially correct, that "the only way to defend Western civilization from these invaders [non-Western immigrants] is to be willing to shed their blood."

He refers again to M Raspail's book in his diary entry published October 12th, headed Role Of Church Elites In Europe's Suicide. The subhead: "Christians Cannot Afford To Trust Ecclesial Leaders To Defend The Faith". A big thank-you to BCF for directing us to the Substack post, from which we take this excerpt:

...we all heard a speech by Thibault de Montbrial...[who] has a new book coming out in France next week, about what he regards as his country's "emergency" situation.... He warned that western Europeans should prepare themselves for mass violence at the level the continent...hasn’t seen since the end of World War II. That is to say (though he didn’t use this term), civil wars.... 

He explained that Islamists have managed to infiltrate both public and private institutions all over Europe, and are using it to their advantage. How did all this happen? 

De Montbrial, a practicing Catholic, said that the core of the problem is cultural — namely, that France (and Europe) has lost all sense of who and what it is. It has forgotten its past, and any sense of connection to it, and has lost its identity. (This is what Renaud Camus calls “The Great Deculturation”).

How do you expect young people to resist people (Muslims) who are hostile to Western civilization, and who have a strong culture, if you have produced a generation, or generations, of people who have no culture? 

[De Montbrial] said that in France, Muslim activists are even succeeding in winning over the hearts and minds of no small number of native-born French, by telling them, basically: "Look around you at what a nihilistic, pornified disaster modern Europe has become. Is that really what you want? Convert, join the ummah, and gain a story. Become part of the glorious march through history of the sons and daughters of the Prophet." It works, he said....

This, he went on, is why though France and other European countries have to use legal, political, and law enforcement means to fight this stuff, the core of the struggle is cultural. If Europe doesn’t recover its sense of history and culture, and in a meaningful way, such that its people are willing to fight to defend it, all will be lost.

A subsequent speaker made the point more explicit: at the heart of culture is cult, or religion. Either Europe re-Christianizes, or it Islamizes. There is no stable third option.

UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" in Magdeburg, Germany

A car plowed into a crowd of people at a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg on Friday evening in an apparent deliberate attack. Eyewitnesses claimed that a driver drove directly into a large group of people gathered in a Christmas market. The German newspaper BILD reports that over 20 people were injured during the attack. It is currently unclear if anyone has died.  

The driver was immediately arrested, but die Polizei have so far not revealed his identity, ethnicity, religion, or status in Germany. They say only that his possible motive remain unclear. However... according to a spokesthingy for the government of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the incident was an intentional attack. 

Are they perhaps jumping to the same conclusion as everyone except the police?

This is a developing story. In the unlikely event that we have rushed to an incorrect judgment, we will, of course, remove this meme.

SUSPICIONS CONFIRMED: Update added 21/12/24 at 0530.

Five people have been confirmed to have died in the attack, one of whom was a child. More than 200 people have been injured and at least 41 are in a critical condition. The toll had earlier been reported as two dead and 68 injured, but was revised to the much higher totals this morning, local time. None of the victims have been identified yet.

German media has identified the suspect as Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy from the Saudi Arabian city of Hofuf, who moved to Germany in 2006 and lives in Bernburg, 25 miles south of Magdeburg. He has been recognised as a refugee since 2016.

So our suspicion that the murderer was -- for a time, at least -- a follower of Prophet was correct. Lifetime pct .987.

But here's the strange part. Frau Nancy Faeser, Germany's Interior Minister, told the meeja that it was "clear to see" that the suspect holds "Islamophobic" views. Let that sink in. "Islamophobic" ???!!!  She said Herr A is an outspoken critic of Islam on social media, and has promoted conspiracy theories regarding an alleged plot by German authorities to islamization Europe. We await clarification.

Further thought: Now the politically correct meeja are calling Herr A an "ex-Muslim". ??? If he's an apostate, and an Islamophobe, why would he perpetrate a typically Islamic terror attack? Did he think the crowd he drove into were all Muslims? "Car jihad" doesn't sound very "ex-Muslim" to us!

Ed. here. Let's get the "hoax" part out of the way. Thanks to Agent 5 for passing along this article, but checking reveals that Dr Emanuel Tanay (March 5, 1928 – August 5, 2014), a Holocaust survivor, was not German, but Polish-American physician and forensic psychiatrist. (Source: Wikipedia). The following article has been attributed to him, but is most likely a mash-up, based on his book Passport to Life with comments on the situation in Canada, UK, and Australia  added recently. 

A German's View on Islam

Dr. Emanuel Tanay was a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist. A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. 

When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. "Very few people were true Nazis," he said, "but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. 

"I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.

"We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is a religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

"The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. 

"It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers. The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. 

"Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

"The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace-loving'? 

"History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun."

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

What do statistics tell us: not later than 2051 France will have more Muslims than Christians, The Netherlands to follow just a couple of years later, Belgium probably by the year 2060, and Germany already has over 8 million Muslims which is to say, 10% of its population and every week new ones coming from war-torn countries. 

Mosques are mushrooming all over the E. U. receiving construction permits on a daily basis. Go and ask for a church construction permit not even as far as Saudi- Arabia, just start asking in Turkey and you'll feel a hard kick in your butt. 

Now Islamic prayers have been introduced in Toronto and other public schools in Ontario, and in Ottawa too, while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country... until the fanatics move in.

In Australia, and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft have the halal emblem just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation's shores. Why? Because they dare in the name of God. 

In the UK, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of no-go zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life, in the name of God. Anyone who doubts that the issue is serious is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. Let us hope that thousands world-wide read this, think about it, and pass it on before it's too late!

Italian coalition government collapses; a "new Mussolini" waits...

Italian governments tend to have very short lives. Since the end of WWII there have been hundreds... literally. They come and go like mushrooms after a spring rain. The latest, a coalition led by Prime Minister Mario Draghi, teeters on the brink this evening, with Sig. Draghi saying he wants to resign to make way for a new government, only for Italian President Sergio Mattarella to reject his resignation and ask him to think up some way to hold together a parliamentary majority.

The trambusto ridicolo came about when senators from the once populist but now left-leaning Five Star Movement boycotted a confidence motion linked to a bill that contained a provision for a new garbage  incinerator to serve Rome, which they oppose on environmental grounds. Sig. Draghi had made clear he would interpret a walkout as a vote against his "unity government". 

The FSM walked out anyway, so the PM tendered his resignation, saying that the trust underpinning the government had come undone, and that the conditions for a functional government "no longer exist"... as if they ever did, in the Italian republic.

Theoretically Sig. Draghi could stay on at the head of a new government without the Five Stars. However, having been chosen by the Pesident in February 2021 to lead a unity coalition, the PM has indicated that he wants no part of that scheme. "There is no government without the Five Stars," he said, adding that he wouldn’t lead a coalition with an alternate makeup. 

If Sig. Draghi succeeds in quitting, Italy be forced into yet another election, which European "progressives" and the controlled media already clutching their pearls in fear of a resurgent right. In the spring of 2018,  as Italy prepared for its first general election in five years, the most-feared party was Matteo Salvini's far-right League. Things didn't quite turn out as Walt predicted (lifetime pct. 978), as the conservative/populist vote was divided among Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia, the League and the new kids on the right-hand side of the block, Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy).

Things are different today. Brothers of Italy, the descendant of a party formed in 1946 by the lingering supporters of Benito Mussolini, has steadily moved from the political fringes to being neck-and-neck with the League. Recent opinion polls put the FdI in a statistical tie -- 21% each -- for most popular party, with the centre-left Democratic Party, led by Giuseppe Brandoni. [Ed., please check that.]

Giorgia Meloni, a member of the Chamber of Deputies and former minister in Silvio Berlusconi's fourth cabinet, is said to have a good chance of being Italy's next prime minister. She has fast become a a celebrity, with videos about her on Facebook (click here to see "Giorgia Meloni a 'Cartabianca' 22/2/22"), and YouTube, and a best-selling autobiography out last year. 

Guido Crosetto, a co-founder of FdI, says voters feel they can trust Ms Meloni because she has: "consistency, reliability, thoroughness. She does not speak by slogans or based on polls.... We [the FdI party] do well in the polls because our party remains consistent with its ideas."

Giorgia Meloni was just 15 when she became involved in the youth organisation of the Italian Social Movement (MSI), founded after World War II by neo-fascists and veterans of Mussolini's Italian Social Republic.

The popularity of Fratelli d'Italia comes amid a broader shift to the right in Italian politics in recent times. See "Told ya! Anti-immigrant backlash pushes Italy sharply right", WWW 5/3/18. 

The League, once the leading party of the right, is now down to 15% in the polls, with FdI picking up a lot of the League's votes, and even making inroads in northeastern Italy, a League bastion since the 1990s. Businesspeople in northern Italy say they like Meloni's anti-tax, anti-bureaucracy style. "There is too much red tape, whether imposed by Rome or Venice [the regional capital]," said a businessman in Vicenza. "Maybe Meloni has realised that."

FdI is unabashedly rightist. Its literature contains slogans such as "Italy and Italians first" and aims to protect Italian identity from Islamization, while calling for the largest family and birth support plan in Italy's history. Convincing moderate voters to switch to a party with radical roots is "not an easy bet", said one analyst, adding,"Meloni is trying, though."

The controlled media in Europe (and now America), cowering in fear, have dubbed Ms Meloni "the new Mussolini". It has been said of the "old" Mussolini that at least he made the trains run on time. If Ms Meloni can make the planes depart and arrive on time, she should be a shoo-in. Walt wishes her buona fortuna!

French politics: Is Marine Le Pen going to get "out-niggered"?

In my usual coherent fashion, I will begin this update on prospects for the French presidential election, coming next May, with a story about the 45th governor of the great state of Alabama, George Corley Wallace, Jr. 

Mr Wallace served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives and later as judge in the Third Judicial Circuit Court, hence  his nickname "the Little Judge". He was known as a moderate on racial issues, and was associated with the progressive, liberal faction of Alabama politics.

During his first campaign for the governorship in 1958, Mr Wallace spoke out against the Ku Klux Klan, and although he endorsed segregation his centrist views won him the support of the NAACP. In contrast, his opponent John Patterson accepted the endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan and made racial issues a major part of his campaign.

Mr Patterson won the race for governor by a large margin. After this defeat, the Little Judge determined that in order to be elected governor he would have to change his position on racial issues, and told one of his campaign officials, "I was out-niggered by John Patterson. And I'll tell you here and now, I will never be out-niggered again." And he wasn't!

What (I hear you ask) does this have to do with French politics? Just this. Until recently, Walt's favourite Frenchperson, Marine Le Pen, leader of the conservative/populist Rassemblement National (National Rally), looked a good bet to defeat the incumbent President Macron, if not in the first round, then in the second, which includes only the two candidates who got the most votes in the earlier round. See "Referendum on immigration? What a novel idea!", WWW 10/10/21. 

But suddenly another contender has emeerged, from even deeper in right field. Behold Éric Zemmour, described by the controlled media as "a Donald Trump-like TV pundit". M Zemmour has not officially announced his candidacy, but has been organizing Trump-style rallies, and is expected to throw his chapeau into the ring very soon.

Éric Zemmour is considered even more right-wing than Mme Le Pen, who has noticebly softened some of the RN rhetoric, in an attempt to appeal to more moderate voters. M Zemmour, on the other hand, does not shy from calling a spade a spade. 

According to the Financial Times, he has been convicted twice of "racial or religious provocation", and has just published a book on the sujbect of national identity, La France n'a pas dit son dernier mot, which has sold 100,000 copies in the first week.

According to respected journalist Yves Mamou, M Zemmour represents the France of yesteryear: the France of Napoleon, Notre Dame de Paris and General Charles de Gaulle, a France that does not want to become an Islamic Republic. He often says "the danger for France is to become a second Lebanon," by which he means a country fragmented between sectarian communities that hate and fear one another.

M Zemmour (still quoting M Mamou) is the man who broke through the glass ceiling to insert into the media discussion topics such as "immigration" and "jihad" -- which no one had ever dared to talk about publicly. He is a man who embodies the fear of seeing traditional France -- the one of church steeples and the "baguette" -- disappear under the blows of jihad and political correctness.

The meteoric rise of Zemmour has had a second effect: he has broken a degrading electoral trap in which the French people are stuck: dividing the right to prevent them from returning to power. From the middle of the eighties until now, the media and the left, together, manufactured an industrial-strength shame-machine to stigmatize as "racist" and "Nazi" anyone who dared to raise his voice on issues of immigration.

M Mamou concludes: The Zemmour fight is just beginning. One thing, however, is certain: Zemmour is restoring an authentic democratic debate about topics -- security, immigration, Islam -- that really matter to the French. 

He's right about that, but I'm not so sure about his assertion that M Zemmour has broken the electoral trap, the splitting of the conservative/rightist vote. According to Politico's Poll  of Polls, President Macron is currently polling around 24%, with Mme Le Pen at 16% and M Zemmour at 15%. That sure looks like a split to me!

If only one candidate presented a real alternative to M Macron and his centre-left, one-world policies, he could be defeated. If that candidate were to be M Zemmour, there is the added problem that he's on his own. Without a primary system such as obtains in the US of A, he cannot take the leadership of the RN away from Mme Le Pen. He would be a "party of one".

If M Zemmour runs as an independent, all he can do is "out-nigger" Mme Le Pen, to the detriment of both of them and another seven years in opposition for those who represent the France of de Gaulle. Tant pis pour eux. Tant pis pour la France!

On 5 March 1959 -- over nine years earlier -- the war hero turned president of France, Charles De Gaulle, had some prophetic words to say about the problem of increasing Muslim immigration to his country. 

C'est très bien qu'il y ait des français jaunes, des français noirs, des français bruns. Ils montrent que la France est ouverte à toutes les races et qu'elle a une vocation universelle. Mais à condition qu'ils restent une petite minorité. Sinon, la France ne serait plus la France. 

Nous sommes quand même avant tout un peuple européen de race blanche, de culture grecque et latine et de religion chrétienne. Qu'on ne se raconte pas d'histoire! 

Les musulmans, vous êtes allés les voir? Vous les avez regardés avec leurs turbans et leurs djellabas? Vous voyez bien que ce ne sont pas des français. 

Ceux qui prônent l'intégration ont une cervelle de colibri, même s'ils sont très savants. Essayez d'intégrer de l'huile et du vinaigre. Agitez la bouteille. Au bout d'un moment, ils se sépareront de nouveau. Les arabes sont des arabes, les français sont des français. 

Vous croyez que le corps français peut absorber dix millions de musulmans, qui demain seront vingt millions et après-demain quarante ? Si nous faisions l'intégration, si tous les arabes et les berbères d'Algérie étaient considérés comme français, comment les empêcherez-vous de venir s'installer en métropole, alors que le niveau de vie y est tellement plus élevé? Mon village ne s'appellerait plus Colombey-les-Deux-Églises, mais Colombey-les-Deux-Mosquées. 

Prophetic words, but the people of France have not yet fully realized the danger posed by the hordes of of foreigners who have turned large areas of many French cities into slums like those of Rabat, Baghdad and Algiers.

Identity of The Hague attacker revealed - not a Mohammed

Walt is pleased to welcome back (after a long absence) Agent 69, who helps us keep on top of the news from the Islamic States of Europe. [Be careful. I don't think that's been officially announced yet! Ed.] He speaks Dutch and has verified and amplified the comment added to the comment appended to "Allahu akbar! in London... now The Hague too!" (WWW 29/11/19), in which the attacker who stabbed three people in The Hague was described as "licht vertint". Here's Agent 69's report.

"Licht vertint" is a term used by the police when they mean "black as the night". And usually "North African descent" means Muslim. But in the case of The Hague it turned out it wasn't a Muslim, but a psychologically disturbed tramp who looked dark because he hadn't washed for weeks. You could probably smell him from 200 meters away! Police don't yet have any idea why he did what he did.

A few weeks ago the head of a national assistance unit said that we should stop with this bullshit and acknowledge that most crimes are committed by dark people and the children born here from Muslims parents. You can probably guess what happened: all political parties were shocked and bewildered. Not because he told what we all know for years already, but because he said it out loud! As head of a important police unit he should know better.

Can Muslims integrate into western societies? The French say NON!

"Face à l'islam, les Français s'inquiètent" - That's the unsurprising headline on a report in Le Journal du Dimanche (= Sunday Journal) on a recent survey conducted by pollsters IFOP (French Institute of Public Opinions). It means "Confronted by Islam, the French are getting worried." No kidding!

The IFOP poll showed that 61% of French people think that Islamism is "incompatible with the values of French society." That's a rise of 8% over the number who thought that when asked in 2018. The polling firm was investigating the "worrying" rise and influence of Islamism in France, and its manifestations in many aspects of public life, particularly in the public display of such symbols of Islam as the wearing of the niqab (veil) and burqa (complete head-to-toe body covering). Another manifestation of the Islamization of France (and all of western Europe) is the increasing number of schools where Islam, including the law of Sharia, is taught. According to the IFOP survey, 80% of pensioners, 69% of workers, 70% of employers, and even 55% of left-wing voters expressed concern about this. According to another IFOP survey, nearly half (46%) of foreign-born Muslim immigrants want France to replace its legal system with Sharia law. That point of view is supported by 18% of Islamists born in France.

On this and other questions on the accommodation of Muslims, the poll noted a strong difference of opinion between between left and right. About 55% of the supporters of the leftist group France Insumisa and the Socialist Party defended Muslim worship, while 85% of the supporters of Marine Le Pen's National Rally agreed with the statement that "Islamism is incompatible with the values of French society."

The survey results add to those compiled last month by international global consulting firm IPSOS, which revealed that 60% of French people saw as a threat the already massive but still growing number of immigrants arriving as a result of President Emmanuel Macron's open border policy. "More than one in two French (60%) see migrants as a threat," the survey data said, and 65% "think that welcoming them will not improve the country's situation. 45% of French people think that "the arrival of migrants deprives French people of social services," it added, noting that "the idea that French people should be given priority in the allocation of jobs has increased in France over the past three years."

The people of France seem pretty clued in about the threat to their society posed by the influx of alien immigrants and "refugees". The people of Québec have also figured it out. Whether the realization comes too late to keep the Muslim tails from wagging the French and Québécois dogs doesn't bear thinking about. President Trump has moved to stop or at least limit Muslim immigration. Canada's Islamophile Prime Minister? Hah!

German Muslims irate over "Islamophobic" cartoons

Here we go again, with Muslim extremists and "progressives" around the world pissing and moaning about "Islamophobic" and (of course) "racist" cartoons by Franziska Becker, a German feminist artist. Unlike the Danish cartoons, which caused such righteous (if you're Muslim) indignation a couple of years ago, these cartoons do not depict the Prophet Mohammed. For some reason, though, liberals and multiculti types find them offensive. You be the judge!

Regarding the translation, according to a poster on Blazing Cat Fur, "Tja" is a slang term, something like LOL... or an expression that the apocalypse is at hand!

The second cartoon, below, was apparently inspired by the decision of the youth welfare office for the German state of Rhineland Palatinate to revoked the operating license of a Muslim kindergarten which promoted extremist Salafist ideology. Franziska Becker's works have come under the spotlight after the Female Journalists Association (Journalistinnenbund) awarded her a prize for her "keen-witted and sharp-tongued" depiction of men and women. The group hailed Becker as "one of the most prominent, feminism-oriented successful personalities"... until, that is, she published these cartoons making fun of Sharia Law and the Islamization of the Fatherland. Imagine that.

Church should NOT promote mass migration: Cardinal Sarah

Jorge Bergoglio, aka Pope Francis [Some are starting to call him "Anti-pope". Ed.], is a big believer in mass migration. Channeling (((Emma Lazarus))), the Unholy Father keeps admonishing us to be more welcoming of "refugees", asylum-seekers, and other flotsam and jetsam who wash up on the shores of Europe, especially if they're Muslims (as 95% of them are) because "we all worship the same God" and other heretical rubbish. Not everyone agrees.

One high-ranking dissident who has mustered up the courage to speak out is Robert Cardinal Sarah, a prelate from the African state of Guinea. Raised to the rank of Cardinal in 2010, he was appointed prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments by Pope Francis in November of 2014. He previously served as secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples under Pope John Paul II, and president of the Pontifical Council Cor Unum under Pope Benedict XVI.

Cardinal Sarah has for years been a forceful advocate for the defence of traditional Catholic teaching on questions of sexual morality and the right to life, and in denouncing Islamic radicalism. He has called gender ideology and ISIS the "two radicalizations" that threaten the family, the first through divorce, same-sex marriage, and abortion, and the latter with child marriage, polygamy, and the subjection of women.

This week, in an interview with the French magazine Valeurs Actuelles, Cardinal Sarah branded mass migration a "new form of slavery" and said those who seek to use the Bible to promote migration are pushing a false interpretation of the scriptures. "It is a false exegesis to use the Word of God to promote migration," the prelate said. "If Europe disappears, and with it the invaluable values of the old continent, Islam will invade the world. And we will totally change culture, anthropology, and moral vision."

Without naming Pope Bergoglio, Cardinal Sarah blasted priests and bishops who "say fuzzy things, vague, imprecise, to escape criticism, and they marry the stupid evolution of the world." He went on to say that the Church should not cooperate with the increasing acceptance by politicians of mass migration into the traditionally Christian continent. "All migrants who arrive in Europe are penniless, without work, without dignity.... This is what the Church wants?" he asked. "The Church can not cooperate with this new form of slavery that has become mass migration. If the West continues in this fatal way, there is a great risk that, due to a lack of birth, it will disappear, invaded by foreigners, just as Rome has been invaded by barbarians."

He added one more thought: "My country is predominantly Muslim. I think I know what reality I'm talking about." Indeed.

Trudeau Liberals promise new flag for Canada

This coming October, Canadians will go to the polls to elect a new federal government. Or, the Liberal Party hopes, to re-elect Just In Trudeau and his government of useful idiots, in spite of everything.

But with opinion polls trending downwards for the libbies, they will have to raise their game -- promotion of "inclusivity", gender ideology, and Islamization of Canada -- to new levels. Some kind of gimmick is needed, beyond opening the border to 1000s of "refugees" and asylum-seekers, aka instant Liberal voters. Walt's mole in the PMO (Prime Minister's Office) says they've come up with something truly brilliant.

This coming June will see the 55th anniversary of the adoption of the now hugely popular maple leaf flag that replaced the British Red Ensign if the bad old colonial days. 55. If you say 5-5 in Thai, it's "ha-ha". So Mr Socks' minions are planning a nice "ha-ha" for the Canadian people. It's a brand new flag, which will properly symbolize the diversity which is the theme and hallmark of Mr T's new "post-national state". As well, it will show that Canadians welcome all the new Muslim immigrants, no matter what the lying opinion polls say. Here's the new design.

There now. Isn't that just what the imam ordered. You've got everybody represented: gays, trannies, feminists, Muslims, and even real Canadians. See the little maple leaf? Perfect! The bill to replace the old maple leaf flag with the brilliant new rainbow banner is expected to be tabled in Parliament any day now. What could go wrong?

Eurabia news roundup - latest on the yellow vests

Walt didn't spend a lot of time this weekend thinking, let alone worrying about the latest examples of the Islamization of Europe and the revolt of white Christians against it. But I won't leave you without a quick summary of what happened, since WWW may be the only place where you'll see the truth.

The death toll from the Strasbourg Christmas market shooting rose to five -- six if you count the Islamic terrorist, Cherif Chekatt, who was shot dead by French police after a two-day manhunt which led to his discovery not far from the scene of the atrocity. In an interview with state-run broadcaster France-2, the Algerian man's father said his son subscribed to the beliefs of the Islamic State (ISIS). Abdelkrim Chekatt said he tried to talk his son out of doing anything, but kids, what're ya gonna do...

Meanwhile, police in Paris said they were optimistic that the gilets jaunes (= yellow vests) protests were waning, since only 5000 or so demonstrators turned out for the festivities on Saturday. Police used water cannon, batons and tear gas to deal with the demonstrators. 168 people were arrested on Saturday alone. One was not arrested because he was dead.

Ahead of more protests expected the weekend before Christmas, French security forces are preparing to smother the centre of Paris with a "last resort" chemical weapon -- a debilitating powder which can be spread across an area the size of six football fields in just ten seconds. That Emperor Macron the First [and last! Ed.] is contemplating chemical warfare against its own citizens highlights the increasing desperation of his government as it faces up to a law and order crisis which is rapidly turning into a rightist revolution.

Meanwhile (again) yellow vests protests intensified in the Netherlands and Belgium. In Brussels, over 5000 of sprouts wearing the iconic apparel were met with water cannon and tear gas as they marched against the UN migration pact signed last week in Marrakech, which they fear could lead to an increase in immigration. (Duh!). The rightist N-VA party, the largest member of Belgium's ruling coalition, left the Belgian government last Sunday in protest against the prime minister's decision to sign the agreement.

The president of the youth wing of the Flemish nationalist party, Vlaams Belang, told the meeja that people should have been consulted before Belgium signed up to the deal. "It's been approved apparently, but the opinion of the people was never asked." A spokesthingy for the nationalist youth organisation Schild en Vrienden, said the protesters wanted to "raise our voice against the Marrakech pact. We think the decision was not made in a democratic way, with a minority in government and a minority of the Belgian people," he said. "That's what we are protesting against."

For those who don't read Flemish, the signs the protesters are carrying read "First OUR people". Nice sentiment, that.

Footnote: Even in Toronto, the poster city for the benefits of multiculturalism, Canucks weary of diversity are starting to raise their voices against unprecedented levels of immigration. A couple of hundred yellow-vested protesters got together in front of city hall for a scuffle with a like number, also clad in yellow vests, who turned up to support the migration pact, which Junior Trudeau has approved on behalf of sheeplike Canadians. As reported here on December 8th, similar protests were held earlier this month in Calgary and Edmonton, but the opinions of red-neck westerners don't count with Mr Socks.

Less than 10% of "migrants" in Netherlands work; most live on benefits

Just passing along some interesting statistics published today by the Voice of Europe, relaying data recently released by the government of the Netherlands. The Dutch, keen not to be losers in the contest to see who can be nicest to the Muslim invaders, are dismayed to find that two-and-a-half years after receiving residence permits, almost 90% of the Syrian "refugees" are still unemployed. 95% of them have to get by on welfare benefits provided by generous Dutch taxpayers.

The situation is even worse for migrants from Eritrea, a shithole in the horn of Africa, hard by the Red Sea. According to CBS, the Dutch statistical office, 96.9% of Eritreans are getting handouts from the state. Eritreans have the worst track record, too, in terms of finding gainful employment. Only 1.9% of them have jobs, compared with the "successful" Afghans, 8.3% of whom are in work.

Even with the generous assistance of a benevolent liberal state, non-western migrants (i.e. Muslims from the Middle East and North Africa) are "at risk for poverty", says the CBS. 79% of them live below the poverty threshold. Around 80% of Eritreans, 54.9% per cent of Somalis and 36.2% are thus official poor.

Geert Wilders, leader of the PVV (Partij voor de Vrijheid = Party for Freedom) can rightly say "I told you so." Since founding the party in 2006 he has campaigned to stop the Islamization of the Netherlands. He advocates ending immigration from Muslim countries. The CBS statistics make his argument seem pretty compelling.

Footnote: I've asked Ed. to see if he can find comparable statistics on the situation of non-European Muslim "refugees" in the AABC countries -- America, Australia, Britain and Canada. He reports that official government figures are difficult to find, since to admit what is apparent to anyone who looks within our food banks and homeless shelters would, it seems, be politically incorrect!

By the company they keep shall ye know them

Canada's Liberal Party, which presently forms the federal government (but just till October 2019!) and ruled the province of Ontario for 15 years until a fed-up public turfed them out in June, has often been accused of cozying up to Muslims. Putting the welcome mat out for Muslim refugees, M-103 (which prohibits saying anything bad about Islam), a Somali-born Muslim as Minister for Refugees -- it's all part of the irreversible browning of Canada. Not to mention Isalmization [M-103! Ed.] and adding 1000s of Mohammeds to the Liberal voter base.

Every once in a while a story emerges to prove that what the liberal progressives claim is a nutty conspiracy theory is actually true. Here's an interesting photo, taken in 2013, showing John Fraser (second from left), a member of the Ontario legislature and now leader of the Liberal Party in that province, and David McGuinty (second from right), a Liberal member of the federal parliament (and brother of the second-last Liberal premier of Ontario) at the Assalam mosque in Ottawa, the capital of Canuckistan.

The Assalam mosque is notable for having just been stripped of its status as a charity by the Canada Revenue Agency (the Canadian version of the IRS). Why? Well... errr... because of "activities that promote hate and intolerance". ☪ Hate and intolerance. In a temple of the Religion of Peace™. Can you imagine ?!?!™

Losing its charitable status means the mosque no longer benefits from the tax advantages enjoyed by government-registered charities. Even better, it can't collect money to support Islamic terrorism and allow donors to claim their contributions as income tax deductions.

The CRA took the action against the Ottawa Islamic Centre and Assalam Mosque following audits that raised concerns about the Islamic extremists who appeared there as guest speakers. In a letter to the mosque's executive, a CRA bureaucrat wrote, "Many of the views expressed by the organization's speakers are misogynistic, homophobic, racist and/or promote violence." Again... imagine that!

The CRA also expressed concern that "radicalized individuals" had attended the mosque. One such jihadi-wannabe, Ashton Larmond, is now doing time in the federal rock hockey arena for attempting to join ISIS.

Canada's Global News published documents detailing the results of the CRA audits. The agency admitted being unable to determine exactly what the various speakers said while rousing the rabble at the mosque, but found views publicly expressed elsewhere by a number of the speakers and found them to be at odds with the "public benefit| required of charities under Canadian tax law.

The documents singled out Abu Usamah At-thahabi, Bilal Philips, Hakkeem Quick and Saed Rageah, all of whom had spoken at the Assalam mosque one or more times. According to the CRA, Mr At-thahabi has called women "deficient", said Christians and Jews were enemies (no surprise there), spoke about throwing homosexuals off a mountain, and said apostates -- people who leave the Islamic faith -- should be killed.

Mr Philips has been denied entry to several countries (but not Canada, thanks to the Liberal open border policy) and has been described as "anti-Semitic, intolerant and 'contrary to integration'", whatever that means. In a video described in the CRA documents, he said Islam was opposed to terrorism but "does not shrink from using violence to gain some of its ends, to establish itself in certain areas/to gain control of Muslim lands."

Mr Quick had "advocated for the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem to be liberated from the filth of the Jews" and was condemned by the New Zealand Broadcasting Authority in 2004 for what was termed "hate speech" towards homosexuals, the CRA said. Mr Rageah runs a Toronto Islamic centre. The CRA quoted an Australian newspaper report that said he had been denied entry to the country and "displayed anti-Western and homophobic attitudes."

According to the documents, the CRA also has concerns with regard to Mr. Rageahès relationship with the Al-Magrib Institute, and his role as founder and leader of the Journey of Faith conference, which has afforded individuals known for their extremist opinions an opportunity to address thousands of gatherers in Toronto.

Walt is shocked, shocked, not by the list of provocations and offences committed by these apostles of militant Islam, but by the fact that the Assalam Mosque and Ottawa Islamic Centre are actually being punished (albeit mildly) for hosting them. You'd think with Liberal friends like Messrs Fraser and McGuinty they'd be able to preach hatred with impunity.

Walt congratulates Viktor Orbán on Hungarian election win

A wave of nationalism -- make that white nationalism -- and populism continues to roll over eastern Europe, making the elites of the European Union and western Europe (Hello! Angela Merkel) nervous. The latest victory for the forces of ethnic solidarity and anti-Islamization came on the weekend, when Hungary's conservative-populist prime minister, Viktor Orbán, won a third term in office in a landslide. The farther-right Jobbik party finished second.

Mr Orbán's party, Fidesz, won not just a decisive majority but (along with some smaller allies) an outright super-majority, making possible changes to Hungary's constitution. During the campaign, Mr Orbán promised to push through legislation described by his government as the "Stop (((Soros))) package". "The reason we submitted this package before the elections," he told the meeja today, "is in order to allow the Hungarian voters to cast their vote knowing our intention on this. This has happened and we believe we are mandated by this election to pass this law."

Among other things, the proposed laws would require NGOs that work on migration-related issues to register with the interior ministry. They could be rejected on a national security basis after vetting by security agencies. Any foreign funding for migration-related activities would be subjected to a 25% tax.

Mr Orbán ran his campaign on the single issue of migration, and blamed a network of the political opposition, NGOs and critical media of being part of a plot orchestrated by the Hungarian-American billionaire (((George Soros))) to send millions of non-Christian (read: Muslim) "refugees" and asylum-seekers to Hungary.

Prime Minister Orbán has been one of the most determined foes of the compulsory migrant quota regime which the European Union is trying to shove down the throats (or some such orifice) of Europeans, at the behest of liberals and anti-Christian NGOs. Their pro-Muslim campaigns have become the focal point for an increasingly influential eurosceptic, anti-mass migration alliance within the EU, centred on the Visegrád Four countries -- the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.

The top politicians and bureaucrats of the European Union, along with the (((controlled media))), have their hair on fire over Mr Orbán's win. One newspaper, however, will not be joining the rending of garments and nashing of teeth. That would be the 80-year-old Magyar Nemzet and its sister station Lanchid Radio, which are closing immediately due to financial problems.

Viktor Orbán is best known on this side of the Atlantic for his robust defence of Christian Europe against the tsunami of Muslim migrants washing over the continent. Unlike President Trump, he succeeded in getting a wall build along the southern border of his country. The erection of the wall and strengthening of border security cut illegal immigration by over 99%, while western European countries like Germany and Sweden put the welcome mat out for all the flotsam and jetsam of the Middle East and Africa with disastrous results.

The Orbán viktory (geddit?) should serve as confirmation and encouragement to POTUS and all others campaigning for an end to the Islamization of the West. A tip of Walt's hat to Mr Orbán and a thumb of Walt's nose to (((George Soros))).
