French politics: Is Marine Le Pen going to get "out-niggered"?

In my usual coherent fashion, I will begin this update on prospects for the French presidential election, coming next May, with a story about the 45th governor of the great state of Alabama, George Corley Wallace, Jr. 

Mr Wallace served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives and later as judge in the Third Judicial Circuit Court, hence  his nickname "the Little Judge". He was known as a moderate on racial issues, and was associated with the progressive, liberal faction of Alabama politics.

During his first campaign for the governorship in 1958, Mr Wallace spoke out against the Ku Klux Klan, and although he endorsed segregation his centrist views won him the support of the NAACP. In contrast, his opponent John Patterson accepted the endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan and made racial issues a major part of his campaign.

Mr Patterson won the race for governor by a large margin. After this defeat, the Little Judge determined that in order to be elected governor he would have to change his position on racial issues, and told one of his campaign officials, "I was out-niggered by John Patterson. And I'll tell you here and now, I will never be out-niggered again." And he wasn't!

What (I hear you ask) does this have to do with French politics? Just this. Until recently, Walt's favourite Frenchperson, Marine Le Pen, leader of the conservative/populist Rassemblement National (National Rally), looked a good bet to defeat the incumbent President Macron, if not in the first round, then in the second, which includes only the two candidates who got the most votes in the earlier round. But suddenly another contender has emeerged, from even deeper in right field. Behold Éric Zemmour, described by the controlled media as "a Donald Trump-like TV pundit". M Zemmour has not officially announced his candidacy, but has been organizing Trump-style rallies, and is expected to throw his chapeau into the ring very soon.

Éric Zemmour is considered even more right-wing than Mme Le Pen, who has noticebly softened some of the RN rhetoric, in an attempt to appeal to more moderate voters. M Zemmour, on the other hand, does not shy from calling a spade a spade. 

According to the Financial Times, he has been convicted twice of "racial or religious provocation", and has just published a book on the sujbect of national identity, La France n'a pas dit son dernier mot, which has sold 100,000 copies in the first week.

According to respected journalist Yves Mamou, M Zemmour represents the France of yesteryear: the France of Napoleon, Notre Dame de Paris and General Charles de Gaulle, a France that does not want to become an Islamic Republic. He often says "the danger for France is to become a second Lebanon," by which he means a country fragmented between sectarian communities that hate and fear one another.

M Zemmour (still quoting M Mamou) is the man who broke through the glass ceiling to insert into the media discussion topics such as "immigration" and "jihad" -- which no one had ever dared to talk about publicly. He is a man who embodies the fear of seeing traditional France -- the one of church steeples and the "baguette" -- disappear under the blows of jihad and political correctness.

The meteoric rise of Zemmour has had a second effect: he has broken a degrading electoral trap in which the French people are stuck: dividing the right to prevent them from returning to power. From the middle of the eighties until now, the media and the left, together, manufactured an industrial-strength shame-machine to stigmatize as "racist" and "Nazi" anyone who dared to raise his voice on issues of immigration.

M Mamou concludes: The Zemmour fight is just beginning. One thing, however, is certain: Zemmour is restoring an authentic democratic debate about topics -- security, immigration, Islam -- that really matter to the French. 

He's right about that, but I'm not so sure about his assertion that M Zemmour has broken the electoral trap, the splitting of the conservative/rightist vote. According to Politico's Poll  of Polls, President Macron is currently polling around 24%, with Mme Le Pen at 16% and M Zemmour at 15%. That sure looks like a split to me!

If only one candidate presented a real alternative to M Macron and his centre-left, one-world policies, he could be defeated. If that candidate were to be M Zemmour, there is the added problem that he's on his own. Without a primary system such as obtains in the US of A, he cannot take the leadership of the RN away from Mme Le Pen. He would be a "party of one".

If M Zemmour runs as an independent, all he can do is "out-nigger" Mme Le Pen, to the detriment of both of them and another seven years in opposition for those who represent the France of de Gaulle. Tant pis pour eux. Tant pis pour la France!

"Culture of welcome" for refugees turns sour for Krauts

The flood of Muslim "refugees" which threatens to inundate Europe shows no signs of abating. One has to wonder what some European leaders -- hello Angela Merkel -- around the beginning of this month, when they opened the floodgates. Germany now looks on track to welcome over a million migrants this year, and the "Willkommenskultur" (culture of welcome) which Ms Merkel trumpeted is wearing a bit thin. In Germany, it seems, the milk of human kindness is starting to curdle.

One may ask why. [But does one have to ask? Ed.] Under the headline "Germany in a state of SIEGE", the UK's Daily Mail tells the story of one "refugee", Atif Zahoor by name, who wound up in the German university town of Giessen.

Mr. Giessen, his brother and his cousin, are Muslims. But they are not refugees fleeing religious persecution and/or civil war in Iraq or Syria or Yemen. No. They are from Pakistan, where they had good jobs. But they wanted to be Europeans, so, last July, seized the opportunity to slip into Germany, along with their wives [how many? Ed.] and children, using illegal documents.

"We paid a trafficking agent for false visas to fly here to Germany," Mr. Atif told the Daily Mail. "We claimed asylum and came to Giessen camp with other migrants. Three weeks ago, because we had families, they gave us a proper home." And a nice home it is, too. The three Pakistani Muslim families now live together in a five-bedroom house, courtesy of Chancellor Merkel and German taxpayers.

This week, Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, warned that millions more migrants are on their way and "the policy of open doors and windows" must be scrapped. British Prime Minister David Cameron said Europe must send failed asylum claimants back to their own countries. Walt says, good luck with that!

The same sentiment was voiced by the German deputy finance minister, Jens Spahn. "Not everyone can stay in Germany, or in Europe," said Herr Spahn. "If people are coming for poverty reasons...we have to send them back."

Walt asks how, exactly, the German and other European governments would do that. The USA has over 10,000,000 illegal migrants (at a conservative estimate) and even Donald Trump has to concede that, even if the political will to deport them was there [As if! Ed.], the cost would be staggering.

Meanwhile, back in das Vaterland, there is deepening disquiet. The German volk are starting to worry that their nominally Christian country, dotted with churches, is being overrun by people of a different religion and culture.

The Daily Mail reported on a letter written by social workers and women’s groups in Giessen to the state parliament, claiming that rape and child abuse were rife in the refugee camp. According to the letter, the camp is a dangerous melting-pot, where there have been "numerous rapes and sexual assaults, and forced prostitution." It goes on to say that there are even reports of children being raped and subjected to sexual assault.

Mr. Atif says the stories are true. "The camp is dangerous," he told the paper. "Men of different nationalities fight and women are attacked. Many women have felt the need to sleep in their clothes... They won’t go to the toilet at night because rapes and assaults have taken place on their way to, or from, there. Even in daylight, a walk through the camp is fraught with fear."

Many migrant women have fled here to escape forced marriages or female genital mutilation, which are rife in African and Middle Eastern countries where Islam is the religion and Sharia law the rule. "They believe they have found safety in Germany," says the letter, "and realize it’s not the case."

Why not? Why would these poor refugees, having found a safe haven at last, treat each other so? The letter suggests that in the migrants’ Muslim culture, women are viewed differently. "It is a fact that women and children are unprotected. This situation is opportune for those men who already regard women as their inferiors and treat unaccompanied women as 'fair game'."

If you ask the residents of Giessen, the problem goes way byond the allegations of rape and civil war in the refugee camps. Locals are also increasingly worried about the effect the "refugees" are having on their everyday lives. The migrants have taken over the town, some say.

The streets of Giessen, even of Berlin, are choked with "refugees" queuing up for housing, food and, errr, cash handouts. In spite of imposing "temporary" border controls earlier this month, Germany is still receiving asylum-seekers at the rate of 100 per hour. You can't miss the new arrivals, wandering the streets in large groups. At a supermarket a few hundred yards from the camp, a well-dressed German woman packing her shopping into a Mercedes rolls her eyes at me as a group of Middle Eastern youths walk by. "What do we do?" she asks. "It has happened now and it will never be the same again."

Indeed it won't. The doors of Germany are open, and can never be closed again. Back to Giessen for words from other Pakistani "refugees". A former student named Janaid Jamshad told the Daily Mail reporter, "When I lost my job, I set out with six friends. There is every nation in the camp — a lot from Pakistan, like me. I chose Germany because they want us here."

Another, identified only as "Ali", said, "I came to Germany first in 2013 and they pushed me out again.... I came back when I heard Mrs Merkel was opening the doors. I have claimed asylum and they are processing my application. Because I am young, I hope they will take me." But, he goes on, "The camp is overflowing.... I have just been to the doctor in the shopping centre because I have a headache. Even there, there are queues of migrants waiting. The doctors at the camp will only give one pill at a time."

Last word to goes to Mr. Atif. "We think having children will help us," he says. "Our house is very big, and they give us money, too. My children deserve a better life than in Pakistan. They will grow up happy in Germany."

Germans... Europeans... this is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday. When you tire of living in the Caliphate of Europe, perhaps you can get on a boat and come to North America. IF, that is, we have not ourselves been overrun because of the wussy, politically correct immigration policies of our leaders.

French Muslim leader calls for takeover of "unused" Christian churches

I'll keep this short and not-at-all sweet. Put it in the "Walt told you so" file. I have warned repeatedly of the Islamists' fanatical determination to take over Europe. If they can't do it by force, they'll do it by immigration and by breeding like Muslim bunnies!

And make no mistake. A Europe overrun by Muslims will no longer be Europe. In saying this, I am only echoing [channeling? Ed.] the thoughts of the late great Charles De Gaulle, founder of the Fifth French Republic. See "Charles De Gaulle warns about Muslim immigration", one of Walt's most-read posts.

Is anyone heeding De Gaulle's sadly prescient words? Well, some people are. Marine Le Pen's Front National has done well in recent elections. And every now and then some patriotic French people stage a protest march. See "Les français patriotes marchent contre le fascisme islamique". [That one includes a video! Ed.]

Sadly for the future of Christian Europe, political action is not enough. What the French should be doing is getting religion... and I don't mean Islam! At one time the nation of France was known as "the eldest daughter of the Church". Today, a secular France has turned her back on Holy Mother Church. Except for tourists, magnificent cathedrals, basilicas and churches are empty.

But, dear French readers, the Muslims have plans for the churches you have abandoned. ANSAmed (the website of the Anna Lindh Foundation) reported yesterday that the rector of the Grand Mosque of Paris and head of the French Muslim Council, Dalil Boubakeur, has called for churches that are no longer being used to be "made available" to Muslims for worship. In other words, M Boubakeur wants to turn your churches into mosques.

The ANSAmed report quotes the Muslim leader as saying "It's the same God." He also told Europe 1 Radio that "The rites are similar. I think that Muslims and Christians can live alongside one another." Words sufficient to indicate the ridiculousness of both statements fail me. I can only say, again, that we've been warned.

Madame De Gaulle's wish on her husband's retirement

Although the wish may be father to the thought, Walt has been so engrossed in watching Hellery Clinton implode that he has been unable to think of much else this week. Since it may take awhile for the demise of her campaign for the presidensity to eventuate, Ed. insists that something be found to fill this space. To the rescue comes Agent 6, who submits this little story about un mot du Général de Gaulle on the occasion of his retirement.

When Charles De Gaulle decided to retire from public life the British ambassador and his wife threw a gala dinner party in his honour. At the dinner table the Ambassador's wife was talking with Madame De Gaulle...

"Your husband has been such a prominent public figure, such a presence on the French and international scene for so many years! How quiet retirement will seem in comparison. What are you most looking forward to in these retirement years?"

"A penis," replied Madame De Gaulle.

A huge hush fell over the table. Everyone heard her answer... and no one new what to say next.

Le Grand Charles broke the silence a moment later as he leaned over to his wife and said:

"Chérie, I believe zat ze English pronounce zat word " `appiness " !

One French politician likens another to chimp, found politically incorrect

One of the anthropoids pictured above is a French politician. The other is a chimpanzee. One of them is the French Minister of Justice, Christiane Taubira. The other is not.

Which is which seems to have caused confusion in the mind of Anne-Sophie Leclerc, a Front National candidate in a local election being held in the northeastern town of Rethel. Mme Leclerc posted these pix on her Fecesbook page. On TV, Mme Leclerc called Mms Taubira "a savage, showing up on TV with that devil's smile."

Mme Leclerc added that of course she is not a racist, but "I'd rather see her up a tree...than in the government like this."

The FN, which has been taking a strong stand against immigration, has been working hard to shake off accusations of racism, made by the usual pro-multicult crowd. The party and its leader, Marine Le Pen, have been gaining ground in opinion polls ahead of municipal and European elections next year. Last Sunday the FN won a by-election in the southern town of Brignoles.

Mme Le Pen's popularity has grown amid high unemployment and public frustration over illegal Roma [= gypsy. Ed.] camps, with a poll this week showing voters consider her the strongest challenger to Socialist President Francois Hollande.

When the immigrants took over Britain

In recent weeks Walt has referred to [Note: not "referenced"! Ed.] dire predictions made by Charles De Gaulle, late President of France, and Enoch Powell, formerly a British Member of Parliament, to the fate of their countries should immigration by people of alien cultures not be restricted.

Well, that's 20th century stuff. But it's not as if the phenomenon of one people and their culture being swamped by immigrants is new. One can go back to the 5th century A.D. for a cautionary tale.

Most Americans may not know this [Whaddya mean "may"? Ed.] but the original inhabitants of what is now England were not English. When Julius Caesar led his legions into "Britain" in 55 B.C., he found the land inhabited by Celts -- pronounced with a hard "C"; think "kilts". There were Scots (although they lived in what is now Eire), Picts, Welsh, Cornish and, errr, other Celtic people.

Julius Caesar didn't think a whole lot of Britain. No veni, vidi, vici  yet. It was like "I came; I saw; I went home again." (Walt, having lived in England for some years, understands completely.)  But he and his successors came back, to conquer but -- and this is important -- not to settle. Very few Romans took up residence in the Empire's northernmost province. Something about the climate, perhaps.

Britannia remained a Roman province until about 440 A.D. By that time, Rome itself was being invaded by Visi-, Ostro- and assorted other Goths, so when the (still mostly Celtic) inhabitants of Britain appealed for help against marauders from lands across the North Sea, they were told, "Sorry, but you're on your own."

And so invaders from Jutland (the Jutes) and Saxony (the Saxons) landed by the boatload. So did a tribe called the Angles (not "Angels", as Pope Gregory quipped). They were more aggressive and better at warfare than the Celts, who were driven to the north and west, where to this day they resist and resent domination by the Anglo-Saxons who came to rule "Angle-land". = England! Geddit?!

Pause for a moment and think what must have been the reaction of the Celts to the influx of immigrants from overseas. "There goes the neighbourhood!" would be a gross understatement of their reaction. John O'Farrell, a columnist for the Guardian, put it better in An Utterly Impartial History of 
Britain (Doubleday, 2007).

It must have been hard being a liberal in the fifth century. You'd try to talk in encouraging terms about all the positive aspects of multiculturalism, about the wonderful rainbow mix of ethnic traditions and customs, and then all the immigrants let you down by splitting everyone's head open with an axe, forcing you and your family to flee for your lives.

"Yes, well, you see, in their religion, murder and pillage is very much a matter of honour so I think it would be rather culturally elitist of us to attempt some sort of universal moral judgement based on our own ethical -- Oi! The bastard! He just nicked my ox!"

Funny? You'd be hard-pressed to find a 21st-century Anglo-Saxon Englishman (or Englishwoman) who's laughing. 

Geert Wilders warns USA: Muslims taking over Europe -- you're next!

Last August, Walt posted "Charles De Gaulle warns about Muslim immigration". In spite of being in French, that excerpt from a speech by Le Général in 1959 has been one of WWW's most-read posts. But is anyone in power paying attention? I wonder....

Perhaps there are some who think that what's happening in Europe can never happen here. Perhaps there are some who doubt that the occupation of Europe by Islamic fundamentalists hostile to the values of our Christian society -- and Christianity itself -- is part of a plot to take over the world, one continent at a time.

Let the doubters read the words of Geert Wilders, Chairman of the Netherlands Freedom Party. On 25 September 2008, Mr. Wilders spoke on "America as the Last Man Standing" at an event sponsored by the Hudson Institute in New York. This is a slightly edited version of what he said, as verified by Snopes. The emphasis is mine. Thanks to Agent 6 for sending this to us.

I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States is the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

First, I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam.

The Europe you know is changing. You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.

All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead.

The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseilles and Malmo in Sweden . In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.

In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.

In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel. I could go on forever with stories like this, stories about Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live [in Europe]. San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France. One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.

The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.

Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national socialism; these are all totalitarian ideologies.

Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times.... 

Israel is our first line of defense. This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia. Israel is simply in the way, [like] West Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest....


Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were...to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed.

The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.

Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks -- the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America, as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem ...

Liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom. It was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe, [Allied] cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish.

My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us.

We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so. We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.

Footnote: Readers who follow the news from Europe will have seen reports, this past week, of rioting in normally peaceful Sweden. The media speak of unemployed  youths and even of "immigrants". What they don't say, because it's not PC, is that the rioters are Muslim "settlers" -- as wilders calls them -- who have been allowed into Sweden because, after all, we mustn't discriminate against people just because they are "different". What burns Walt's ring is that political leaders keep warning us about the danger to our society. De Gaulle, 1959; Enoch Powell, 1968; and Geert Wilders only five years ago. Is no-one in North America paying attention?! Why not??!! Is it because those who are giving us the heads-up are Europeans? Is it because the lamestream media tell us people who say such things are "racists"? Dear readers, Mr. Wilders et al. are not racists. They are realists! Their warnings must not be ignored!

It's the time of year when there's not a lot of news. Nothing happens between Christmas and New Year's. So the media (Phil Space, Prop.) have to fill space [geddit? Ed.] With retrospectives on the year that was. WWW is better than the lamestream media, but not that much better. So, over to Ed. for a look back at developments in Walt Whiteman's World.

Thanks, Walt. Here's a quick summary of your blog's readership for 2012. Let me throw some numbers at you. 35%. 55%. 80%. That's right! 80%!! Daily readership of WWW did not increase by 80%!! But it did increase.

Most popular post, again this year: "Where next? Swaziland next?" Can't figure out why people in places like Russia, Turkey and India keep hitting this. I also wonder why no-one ever comments. Perhaps typing with one hand is too difficult.

The video sequel, "Swazi girls doing the reed dance -- VIDEO!", has just now started getting a lot of hits. As nearly as I can see, no-one from Swaziland has ever looked at either of these posts.

New record for most hits in one day: "Learn this new Christmas song...and pass it along!",  which rode the crest of the wave of backlash against politically correct "Happy Holidays". Bookmark it for next year.

Most popular foreign language post: "Charles DeGaulle warns about Muslim immigration". As we ran the text of le Général's prescient prediction in French, we didn't think many people would read it, mais nous avons tort.

Surprise of the year: the continuing popularity of "Death by cactus: a prickly situation", posted on 26 June. I figured this would be a one-day story, maybe a week at best, but it has been one of the top three most-viewed items for the last six months, sometimes beating even the Swazi girls. Why do people read this? Or are they just looking at the picture of the saguaro cactus?

Where you are: Walt has regular readers all over North America, Europe (including Russia), and parts of Asia (including Russia). South America and Africa, not so much. Top ten countries (as of today) are: USA, Russia, Turkey, Canada, India, UK, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, France, Australia.

How you look at us: The big three browers are the ones you'd expect, but the order of finish tells a story: Chrome (31%); Firefox (30%); Internet Explorer (25%). And Safari is now in fourth spot, Opera in fifth.

Your operating systems are: Windows (far and away the leader -- 78%), Linux (See? It still exists! -- 11%), with Macintosh, Android, iPad and iPhone not even at the three-quarter pole. Big question for the future: Will the advent of Windows 8 make any difference? Walt's prediction: No, because no-one's going to buy it if they don't have to. Lifetime pct .987.

Worst new technological development: Google's new and useless user interface for Blogger. Another proof of the old adage: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I keep thinking about changing platforms to WordPress but am just too lazy.

Les français patriotes marchent contre le fascisme islamique

The demonstration shown in this video was totally suppressed by the politically correct lamestream media in France and elsewhere. It has only recently received some exposure in North America through CBN via YouTube.

What you'll see here is a patriotic march, held in Paris on November 12th, in support of French culture and French (read "Christian") values and against continued Muslim immigration and Islamic fascism.



Aux musulmans et ceux qui crient "Célébrons la diversité", ces patriotes français disent: Si vous souhaitez vivre sous la charia avec des voiles et du halal, allez donc vivre dans un pays musulman. Provoked by the "progressive thinkers" and multiculti-glorifiers of the loony left, Walt has been doing more research on the Islamization of Europe. Just over a year ago, in "'I told you this would happen': Enoch Powell", I quoted from the British political leader's famous "Rivers of Blood" speech.

Mr. Powell predicted that, if the floodgates of the UK were opened to non-European and non-Christian immigration, there would be rioting, sectarian conflict and the general degradation of British society. He was right, of course, but not the first to say what now cannot be said.

Enoch Powell gave that speech on 20 April 1968. It turns out he wasn't the first to foresee the dire consequences of unrestricted immigration from the Third World, the Muslim countries in particular. On 5 March 1959 -- over nine years earlier -- the war hero turned president of France, Charles De Gaulle, had something similar to say about the problem of increasing Muslim immigration to his country. C'est très bien qu'il y ait des français jaunes, des français noirs, des français bruns. Ils montrent que la France est ouverte à toutes les races et qu'elle a une vocation universelle. Mais à condition qu'ils restent une petite minorité. Sinon, la France ne serait plus la France.

Nous sommes quand même avant tout un peuple européen de race blanche, de culture grecque et latine et de religion chrétienne. Qu'on ne se raconte pas d'histoire! Les musulmans, vous êtes allés les voir? Vous les avez regardés avec leurs turbans et leurs djellabas? Vous voyez bien que ce ne sont pas des français.

Ceux qui prônent l'intégration ont une cervelle de colibri, même s'ils sont très savants. Essayez d'intégrer de l'huile et du vinaigre. Agitez la bouteille. Au bout d'un moment, ils se sépareront de nouveau. Les arabes sont des arabes, les français sont des français.

Vous croyez que le corps français peut absorber dix millions de musulmans, qui demain seront vingt millions et après-demain quarante ? Si nous faisions l'intégration, si tous les arabes et les berbères d'Algérie étaient considérés comme français, comment les empêcherez-vous de venir s'installer en métropole, alors que le niveau de vie y est tellement plus élevé? Mon village ne s'appellerait plus Colombey-les-Deux-Églises, mais Colombey-les-Deux-Mosquées.

Prophetic words, but in France as in the UK, no-one took those words to heart. Now France has even more problems with Arab Muslims than does Britain. Who's next? Canada? The USA? I'll give you 6 to 5 on Canada because the Canadians are too damn polite, too damn politically correct to rise up and demand that Muslim immigration be stopped... NOW!
