VIDEO: Disaffected Michael Matt asks: Did you REALLY vote for this?

I am one of the many 1000s who are (to put it mildly) disappointed that President Trump has not yet succeeded in Making America Great Again. I think POPTUS made a hyuge (mildly, again) mistake in attacking Iran, after having promised to keep us from getting entangled in any more Mid-East wars, and putting the treasure spent on Iraq and Afghanistan to better use at home. And yet, here we are, wondering how in hell he's going to get America out of this hot mess. See "WINNING! "The war is over!" POTUS orders 5000 troops back to USA", WWW 2/5/26.

I know Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, agrees with me [or vice versa. Ed.] Here's an excerpt from the latest edition of the Remnant Underground, in which Mr Matt asks: What's going on with Trump's America? Is this what we voted for?!

ICYMI, Mr Matt said it seems to him that there's not much to choose from between the Trump Republicans and "the other guys", that neither party seems prepared to do what is necessary to truly fix a broken America. He might agree with my argument in "Uniparty politics FAILS in UK... still working in Canada though", WWW 10/5/26, that we (the AABC countries) are headed in the wrong direction, no matter which half of the Uniparty is in power.

VIDEO: Victor Davis Hanson explains Americans' beef with Canada

This weekend, Canada's National Post* published a piece headed "Polls show Americans dislike Canada more than ever". The writer argues that's bad news for the Canuck Prime Minister Marx Carnage because his efforts to resolve the tariff war with POTUS, he is constrained because "there’s a point at which Canadians aren't going to accept big concessions [to the US]…until they get an apology" for all the "51st state" and other nonsense.

Ed. scraped this meme from the NP article, but hasn't explained what it means.

The writer goes on to say that Canadians' affection for America tends to rise and fall with whoever's in the White House. It dropped for Dubya, rose for the Prez, and then plunged during President Trump's first term, only to rise again with Demented Joe Biden asleep in the Oval Office.

In the first year of the Donald's second presidency, however, Canadians' fondness for their southern neighbour has plumbed new lows. And vice versa! Americans’ views of Canadians have also made a historic shift -- for the worse. According to a Gallup poll released this month, while most Americans see Canada favourably, that view is shared by only 80% of thoser polled, compared with 91% during the Biden years. That's the lowest level Gallup has seen since 1980s.

One of those no longer enamored of Canada -- or rather, the idiotic, ultra-woke policies of the Liberal government they keep voting for -- is our old friend Victor Davis Hanson. In this video, published on 19 March by the Daily Signal, Mr Hanson talks about countries which he thinks are reliable friends and allies of the US of A. Canada is not at the top of his list, for reasons which he explains. .

*Footnote: You may be interested [or not. Ed.] to know how the National Post got its name. I started to tell the shocking tale of greed and hubris, but it has already reached six paragraphs, so will save it for next time.

VIDEO: Michael Matt calls out Christian Zionists over Iran war

Call me a Mugwump if you want [OK, you're a mugwump! Ed.] but I'm not totally on board with the war against the Mad Mullahs of Iran.

There can be no doubt that the Middle East and the world in general would be a better and safer place if the Islamic theocracy were overthrown. But, as I suggeested yesterday, I don't see any clear plan for replacing the arch-Muslim dictators with a more tractable regime. And I certainly don't want to see another debacle like Iran or Afghanistan.

One thing's for sure. I reject the argument of the Christian Zionists that this war, fomented by the Israelis (read: Jews) is all part of God's plan to establish His kingdom on Earth. For those who haven't heard, Christian Zionism is a theological and political movement wherein Christians support the state of Israel and the return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land, believing this fulfills biblical prophecy regarding the End Times.

Rooted in 17th-century Puritan thought, this ideology sees modern Israel as a divine miracle. No traditional Catholic can believe that, as Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper says in an e-mail received here today, as follows:

Re: War in Iran – regardless of the nonsense Senator Ted Cruzmissile learned in Sunday school, Bibi’s manmade messiah has no legitimate Biblical foundation. Not to make this all about Sen. Lindsey Graham, but the warmongering Zionists are trying to blasphemously show Jesus Christ how it’s done.

What they’re essentially doing now is laying claim to the temporal power the Sanhedrin wanted the first time around. Charlie Kirk was right! Their kingdom is most definitely of this world! So, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…and any other country that gets in the way of Israel’s nuclear-armed messianism.

Antisemitic? Not at all! Orthodox Jews reject Israel’s militarized messiah out of hand. They consider it heresy, which is why I heavily lean on their testimony in this week’s Underground [the video below. Ed.].

Traditional Jews and Traditional Roman Catholics know their scripture, whereas Zionists rewrite it to accommodate their political aspirations. From Iraq to Gaza and from Syria to Iran, this is about a human hack for a divine curse... They base their claims on a religious right to the land of Israel, as promised to Abraham, heretically insisting that once Jews repossess Israel, this will bring about the millennial rule of Christ on Earth for 1000 years.

What are they missing? Almighty God keeps His promises! So, just as Adam forfeited Paradise on Earth by his sin – and we forfeit God’s promised heavenly Jerusalem through mortal sin – so too the Jews forfeited the Promised Land by breaking the covenant with God.

In Deuteronomy 28:63-64 (DRV), Moses warns them "the Lord shall rejoice destroying you and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land... The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof."

That is the judgment of God Himself, and it was reaffirmed in no uncertain terms by His only begotten Son. Any attempt to circumvent it on the part of Zionists – Christian or otherwise – is blasphemy.

In this latest edition of The Remnant Underground, Mr Matt takes a deep dive into the biblical foundations of this fundamentally Christian reality: No one can be at the same time a sincere Catholic and a Christian Zionist. Listen and learn.

What's the PLAN for IRAN?

As soon as POTUS (or Bibi) confides in me, or I figure it out by myself, I'll let you know.

I hate to be "that guy" but... about the US, Israel and Armageddon

We don't like to repost our own stuff but as the American-Israel war on Iran enters its fourth day we can't help but think that we've seen this movie before. Or maybe this is just the latest version of the long-running franchise.

Let's rewind to "Scrapping the Iran deal: another milepost on the road to Armageddon", WWW 10/5/18. To save you clicking on the link [but go ahead if you want! Ed.], the main point of that post was that President Trump was right to scrap the Obama deal with Iran.

He did that because "Iran is a danger to us, to our allies, to freedom. We stand alongside you in ending the dangerous appeasement of Iran and making all and any action required to stop Iran going nuclear, help its people, halt its spreading of terror and achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and among all peoples and nations."

Inevitably, the Democrats, liberals and one-worlders disagreed with Mr Trump. The Prez called the decision to screap the Iran deal "misguided". The deal was negotiated on his watch and he took credit for it, as befits the winner of a Nobel Peace. What else would he say.

Walt wrote: What the doves never explained was why, if the Iran deal was such a great game-changer, peace didn't break out in the Middle East the minute it was signed. The object was to prevent Iran from developing a nuculer (giving it the American pronunciation) weapon, and stop them from mucking around in Syria and other Muslim civil wars -- Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, etc etc -- by bringing them (Iran) back into the world economic community. So how did that work out?

The Prez and all the other one-world, appease-the-Muslim wienies have responded to POTUS' decision to scrap the Iran nuke deal by saying that his decision has moved us closer than ever to a full-scale war, yea a veritable nuclear holocaust! So if the Middle East explodes, it's all Trump's fault. Right?

Errr, no. My point was that we were on the road to Armageddon well before the Iran deal! See "
3 portents of the coming Armageddon", WWW 26/8/14. Scrapping the deal makes no difference other than to immanentize the eschaton.

The years passed. The Biden interregnum brought was marked by the ignominious retreat from Afghanistan and other triumphs of Democratic diplomacy. The Iranians, emboldened by the defeat of the Trumpster, carried on with their nuclear program and with raising Islamic terrorist hell in the Middle East and around the world.

Now the Donald is back in the White House and can see that the mad mullahs who rule Iran are just as keen as ever on destroying the "Zionist entity" to their south -- note the direction: it's important! -- and imposing their brand of the Religion of Peace(TM), complete with Sharia Law, on the Middle East and however much more of the world the craven Western powers allow.

Time now to explain why we're naming this version of the old movie "The Road to Armageddon". Here's a Biblical (DRV) reference: "And the Lord saidto me: From the north shall an evil break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. Jeremias 1:14 (DRV).

Now take a look at a map of the Middle East.  If the "families of the kingdoms of the north" come once again to attack the gates of Jerusalem (1:15), the road they will take goes right past... or through... a little place called Megiddo, indicated with the red marker on the map..

That's "Megiddo" as in "Mount Megiddo", which is not really a mountain but a "tell", a city built on top of a city built on top of another city, and so on for 5000 years. During the Bronze Age, Megiddo was an important Canaanite city-state. During the Iron Age, it was a royal city in the Kingdom of Israel.

Megiddo is mentioned only once in the New Testament of the Bible, but has sixteen mentions in the Old Testament, notably in Chapters 4 and 5 of the book of Judges.

Among the judges, the only female, and the only one to be called a prophet is Deborah (aka Debbora), a decisive figure in the defeat of the Canaanites. This is a victory told in two accounts, a prose narrative in Judges 4 and a poem, known as the Song of Deborah, in Judges 5. At Judges 4:6 "she sent and called Barac...and said to him: The Lord God of Israel hath commanded thee: Go, and lead an army."

And so he did. In the 15th century B.C., God gave the victory at the battle of Megiddo (Judges 5:19) through those who are willing to follow His lead.

For Christians the word Megiddo is synonymous with the end of the world as mentioned in the Apocalypse of Saint John the Apostle (aka Revelation) 16:16. Other battles, besides the one mentioned in Judges, were fought at Megiddo, as recently as World War I.

"Har-Megiddo" (Hebrew for the "mount" of "mountain" of Megiddo) or Armageddon, will be the site of the Final Battle.

At that time, according to Apocalypse 6:1-8 (DRV), God will release onto the world four horsemen -- the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen appear with the opening of the first four of the seven seals that bring forth the cataclysm of the Apocalypse.

The first horseman, a conqueror with a bow and crown, rides a white horse.
The second horseman is given a great sword and rides a red horse, symbolizing war and bloodshed.
The third carries a balance scale, rides a black horse, and symbolizes famine
The fourth horseman rides a pale horse and is identified as Death.

It's hard to look at the events unfolding right now without wondering if the Final Battle has not begun. I'm afraid to repeat my usual "Stay tuned."

BREAKING: Trump tells Iran "FAFO"

Not a great way to start the day. I was awakened at sparrow fart by the distant whine of the Fort Mudge air raid siren. Seems that Chief Wiggum, who's in charge of the device, had misinerpreted the news flash on the radio and was warning the populace that Iran was attacking the US of A. In fact it's the other way around.

It's actually the mad mullahs who rule the Islamic Republic of Iran who need to keep their eyes to the skies, as President Donald Trump told the Iranian armed forces to lay down their arms or face "certain death." FAFO!

POTUS also urged the Iranian people to rise up and "seize control of your destiny" as "major" joint American-Israeli strikes against Tehran commenced overnight.

Why is this happening? Because, after months of palaver, the Islamists refuse to accept limits on their development of nuclear technology. They say it's for peaceful purposes, because, as is well known, Islam is the Religion of Peace(TM).  American security experts, however, think that the Iranians mean to bring peace to the Middle East by nuking Israel. Just a thought, of course.

Announcing the strikes to eliminate "imminent threats from the Iranian regime" which "directly endangers the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world," President Trump said, "A short time ago, the United States Military began major combat operations in Iran."

The strikes are intended to destroy Iran's stockpiles of missiles and to "obliterate" Iran’s missile production industry, the President said. The intent, he explained,  is to prevent Iranian nuclear-tipped long-range missiles from ever threatening the American mainland or America’s allies in Europe.

This is also about bringing regime change to the Islamic Republic. President Trump called on the armed forces, paramilitary, and police of Iran to lay down their weapons. If they did so they would receive "complete immunity" and be treated fairly, he said, but else would face "certain death".

POTUS also called on the Iranian people to take this opportunity to rise up against the government, stating "the hour of your freedom is at hand" and they would not likely get another second chance. "Stay sheltered," he said, "Don’t leave your home, it’s very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will, probably be your only chance for generations… now is the time to seize control of your destiny."

What happens if Hamas refuses Pres. Trump's Gaza peace deal?

What did the Donald mean when he said all hell will break loose?

Meme created by Elon Musk. 👍

Book review: "The Jewish War" + BONUS VIDEO

Yesterday was the day fixed by President Trump by which Hamas had to accept his plan to bring an end to the unpleasantness in Gaza... or else!

While we wait for all hell to break loose. let us consider the words of Jewish Roman historian Flavius Josephus ben Matthias, in The Jewish War

1950 years ago, Josephus wrote his contemporary account of the great Jewish rebellion against Rome. The insurrection began in 66 A.D. and lasted seven years.

The Middle East described by Josephus is perfectly familiar -- a politically fractionalized land populated with a humble of ethnic and religious groups, including Jews, Arabs, Egyptians, Syrians, Greeks, Italians and a tiny community of Christians.

Each detests the others. Extreme political and theological views prevail. Terrorism and assassination are commonplace. Alliances are momentary. Grudges, personal. And neither colonial subjugation nor local autonomy suffices to keep the peace.

The political events are familiar too. Rome first intervened in the region as a peace keeper, brokering a dispute between Seleucid Mesopotamia and Ptolemaic Egypt. Later the Middle East appeared vital to Rome because Roman trade routes passed through the region and because of the Parthian threat to the empire's eastern frontier. The Romans were lured into deeper military and political involvement, and this triggered continual insurrections.

The rebellion of 66 A.D., however, did not begin as a war of national liberation. It began as communal rioting in the seaport town of Caesarea -- Greeks verus Jews over an empty lot next to a synagogue. This inspired sympathetic rioting in Jerusalem, and a ham-handed Roman attempt to quell the disturbances worsened them instead. The result was one of those great wallows siege, massacre, treachery, persecution, revenge, plunder, and self-destruction to which the Middle East is so often host.

The rising in Jerusalem set off a reaction among the non-Jewish inhabitants of the region, who indulged themselves in wild pogroms, with killings taking place as far away as Damascus and Alexandria. Roman forces were not sufficient to quash the rebellion. Jewish forces were not sufficient to defeat the Romans in open combat. Guerilla warfare ensured, with predictable consequences to the populace.

The Romans were noted for vigorous foreign policy responses. The Emperor Nero sent Vespasian and three legions to pacify Judea. Using a great deal of slaughter and some tactics, Vespasian drove the rebels back to the environs of Jerusalem. He was prevented from ending the war, however, by political confusion at home. Sound familiar? Nero was ousted and three worthless and short-lived emperors followed within the year.

The Jews made use of this breathing space by engaging in urban warfare with themselves and committing all conceivable and some inconceivable atrocities upon their co-religionists. Vespasian himself was finally proclaimed emperor by the Roman army, and the war was resumed under the direction of his son Titus.

After a prolonged and disgusting siege, Jerusalem was taken. And after another prolonged and even more disgusting siege, Masada, the last rebel stronghold fell. The Temple was destroyed, the Jewish upper classes were dispersed, and a Roman army was permanently stationed in Judea. Even then the peace did not hold, and rebellion would break out anew during the reign of Hadrian.

Normally the patterns of history are reassuring. But in The Jewish War, the shock of recognition is just a shock. Here, sixty generations ago, is nearly the same cast of characters engaged in exactly the same obsessive, vicious, and fatal behaviour for the same terrifying reasons on the same cursed, reeking, ugly chunk of land.

Who fails to learn history is doomed to repeat it. But was seemed doomed to repeat this history anyway.

This review is adapted from "The Two-Thousand-Year-Old U.S. Middle East Policy Expert", by the late, great P.J. O'Rourke, in a little-known libertarian magazine called Inquiry, c. 1979. While you're letting that sink it, here's a very à propos musical interlude.

VIDEO: "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran!"

Walt feels the need to post something more about the Israeli (read: American) attack on Iran than the little cartoon which appeared here this morning. We can poke fun at the Ayatollahs and mad mullahs all we like, but to say that we have to get them before they get us... that's just wrong! In his latest Remnant Underground video, Michael Matt tells us why supporting "Christian Zionism" is a big mistake, and what we must do to save our country.

But first, this overture. Those of you who grew up with the music of the Golden Age of Rock, the kind featured in American Graffiti, will have noted with sadness the passing of Brian Wilson, the musical genius behind The Beach Boys, who died a few days ago at the age of 82. RIP. This is one of my favourite Beach Boys hits.

What, you may wonder, is the connection with the attack on Iran. Read our headline again, quickly, or better yet, sing it... the way the Beach Boys did! No wonder Mr Matt uses it to preface his thoughts on the mistake of joining the endless Middle Eastern war.

Dear Christian friends -- Catholic and otherwise -- Mr Matt has shown the flaws in the argument for joining in the Jewish war on Iran. It's not that Mr Matt or we here at WWW are anti-Semitic. It's simply that this war goes against everything we, as Christians, profess to believe. Now you know.

Footnote: This video is an edited version of AMERICA FIRST?? TRUMP BOMBS IRAN_ MAGA Divided, Neocons Delighted, Israel Wins, published on Remnant TV on 22 June 2025. Mr Matt's report on the latest Chartres pilgrimage and the great Catholic Revival now shaking Europe have been omitted. Click here to see the full-length (44:15) video.

3 things that could upset the electoral applecart

As I remarked yesterday, things are very quiet on the electoral front.

Comrade Harris's handlers are running a textbook "basement campaign", just as they did with Senile Joe four years ago. Since the couple of interviews she gave were dumpster fires, she doesn't do interviews any more. She's appeared at a few small rallies and fundraisers, but doesn't do pressers. When someone somehow asks a question, her stock answer is, "So, I was raised in a middle-class family." That's it, that's all. Nothing to see or hear here, folks.

As for the Donald, he's out there doing rallies, making speeches, putting himself forward. Yesterday he spoke at events in Ohio and Indiana, in the same day. We're told the campaign plan for the next 40 days is to get out there into the red states, the blue states, and the purple states -- anywhere he can get a crowd, and that includes New York, California, Wisconsin and North Carolina!

The trouble is that getting out to see the American people and let them see him -- "They didn't get me yet!" -- is risky. It's not as if presidential candidates, and even sitting presidents, haven't been shot before. I'm minded of George Wallace, because this Routh, apparently suffering from severe TDS, is the same kind of nutjob who nearly killed the Little Judge and certainly ended his campaign. I do hope someone other than the security forces of the Deep State has Mr Trump's back.

Here are three things that could happen between now and the Day of Reckoning which would force the Cackler's hand and throw the election into confusion and chaos.

Demented Joe dies, or Article 25 is invoked. Brandon's "good days" -- when he knows what's going on around him -- are becoming increasingly rare. The gaffes and "senior moments" are becoming downright embarrassing. Even staunch Dimocrats should be uncomfortable when their President's wife starts running cabinet meetings!

If the President [pro tem! Ed.] kicks the bucket or is found to be non compos mentis so there's no choice but to remove him from office under the provisions of Article 25 of the Constitution, that would make the Cackler... wait for it... President. Ready or not. Among the issues she would be forced to deal with would be

The outbreak of a full-on war by Israel against both Hamas and Hezbollah. Things are starting to get hot and heavy in and around Israel. Yesterday, campers, the government you (allegedly) elected sent more American troops to the Middle East in the run-up to the next Gulf War. How many troops or where they will be deployed is, of course, a state secret.

What will Hock Ptui (or, more accurately) her handlers do when the shit-hammer falls? Whose side will she take -- the Jews or the Arabs? It won't be possible to remain on tghe fence, or to say "I was raised in a middle-class family" any longer.

Questions will also be raised, quite properly, about why the administration of which Ms Harris is so proud to be a part didn't do anything to prevent the hostilities reaching this boiling point. Senile Joe and Winken Blinken have put forth no plans, drawn no red lines, or done anything except to urge the warring parties to keep talking. Is the Biden-Harris tag team going to do anything of substance between now and November 5th, ot just wait and hope the whole thing blows over?

There is also the possibility that Deep State may finally succeed (God forbid!) in its efforts to assassinate President Trump. Let's skip the outrage and recriminations and consider the reality. Walt's legal advisor (Agent 3) is weak on US constitutional law, but believes that it is now too late to remove Citizen Trump from the ballot. And even if his name no longer appears on the ballot, you could write him in. So you will be able to vote for him, even if he's dead.

What happens, then, if the late Donald Trump wins? Remember that he has a running mate, the estimable Senator J.D. Vance, and (Agent 3 thinks) in most states you vote for them together, as a team. So if the Republican team, now down its star quarterback, wins, doesn't that make the second-string quarterback President?

But wait (as Vince Offer would say), there's more... It's not the popular vote that really counts, but the vote in the Electoral College. When you vote Republican -- you will, won't you? --  you are really voting for a slate of electors bound to cast their votes for... well, it could be anyone. And their votes would almost certainly go to J.D. So the death of President Trump could very well result in the election of J.D. Vance as 47th President of the United States of America!

VIDEO: From Lebanon: the exploding goats story

This is all over the Internet, but ICYMI... a report of a third wave of booby-traps rigged by the IDF to explode in the faces (or other parts) of Hezbollah jihadis in Lebanon.

This is too good -- too funny -- to be true. And it's not even from the Babylon Bee. Kudos to those responsible.

Tampon Tim sez anti-Israel protesters are right, doesn't mention Hamas

Michigan, the rust-bucket state made famous by Michael Moore, has the USA's largest Arab population. Travel anywhere in the Middle East, and within 24 hours you're bound to meet a rag-head who says he has relatives in Detroit.

Michigan is one of the key swing states which is very much in play in the presidential election which will take place in less than two months. Latest polls show President Trump with a slim lead over the Cackler.

So it was only logical that Veep wannabe "Tampon Tim" Walz should choose an interview with WCMU, the Michigan NPR outlet (of course) to deliver a pat on the keffiyeh to anti-Israel protesters who, he said, "are speaking out for all the right reasons," and that more pressure should be applied to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a Palestinian state.

Mr A-Walz described the October 7th attack as a "horrific act of violence against the people of Israel" and said that the Jewish state has the right to defend itself and that the United States "will always stand by that." However, he had nothing to say about the attackers. He refused to utter the word "Hamas".

The Biden-Harris administration's tepid support of Israel's response to the horrific act of Islamic terrorism could be a critical issue on Election Day in swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania, where the margin between pro- and anti-Israel votes could be a deciding factor.

Pro-Trump Jews react
Matt Brooks, CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition, told the Jewish News Syndicate that "Joe Biden thinks the antisemitic, anti-Israel radical protestors 'have a point', Kamala Harris appeases them, saying they 'are showing exactly what the human emotion should be' and now Tim Walz believes they 'are speaking out for all the right reasons.' What a total disgrace.

"Let’s be clear," Mr Brooks added. "The mobs on our streets and college campuses are wildly antisemitic and anti-Israel and should be totally condemned in the strongest possible terms. It is shameful and appalling that the top leaders of today’s Democratic Party cannot firmly and directly reject their vile antisemitic base."

He concluded, "Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are choosing to put partisan politics ahead of the safety and security of the Jewish community and America's key ally as it fights a war for its very survival. It is disgusting, and the American people will reject Harris and Walz’s extremism in November. Their priorities are clearly not our priorities. Harris and Walz stand with the radical squad, not with us."

Armageddon soon?

Here is the stack-4 headline on this morning's Breitbart News landing page:

Report: Khamenei Orders Direct Strike on Israel
On the Brink: Possibility of Iran-Israel War Looms
White House Claims No Knowledge of Strike on Hamas Leader
Surrogates Speak, But Where Is Biden?

Walt's answer to BN 's question: Biden's hidin'!
No doubt Senile Joe is wondering if maybe he should have resigned the presidensity as well as his moribund candidacy. I, for one, am glad his finger, rather than Hawk Tuah's, is on the panic button. Chances are he'll be too tired or shy to press it!

Let me get to the Armageddon part. Safe in my bunker just up the road from Fort Mudge, I have been thinking about what Sacred Scipture has to say about the Last Days. If Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, truly desires to immanentize the eschaton, he's certainly got his sights fixed on the right target.

Use this map to keep track to keep track of the latest news from the Muddle East. All the key places are there: Jerusalem, Gaza, Damascus, and -- indicated with the red marker -- a little place called Megiddo.

This is a victory told in two accounts, a prose narrative in Judges 4 and a poem, known as the Song of Deborah, in Judges 5. At Judges 4:6 "she sent and called Barac [aka Barak!!! Ed.]...and said to him: The Lord God of Israel hath commanded thee: Go, and lead an army."

And so he did. In the 15th century B.C., God gave the victory at the battle of Megiddo (Judges 5:19) through those who are willing to follow His lead. Deborah sings her song boldly to the Lord Himself (Judges 5:1–4). She is echoed by Barak and the people of Israel. She describes God as moving from outside of the land of Canaan into the land, bringing earthquakes and rainstorms with Him.

For Christians the word Megiddo is synonymous with the end of the world as mentioned in the Apocalypse or Saint John the Apostle (aka the Book of Revelation) 16:16. Other battles, besides the one mentioned in Judges, were fought at Megiddo, as recently as World War I. "Har-Megiddo" (Hebrew for the "mount" of "mountain" of Megiddo) or Armageddon, will be the site of the Final Battle.

At that time, according to Apocalypse 6:1-8, the God will have released onto the world four horsement, which we now call the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The Four Horsemen appear with the opening of the first four of the seven seals that bring forth the cataclysm of the Apocalypse.

The second horseman is given a great sword and rides a red horse, symbolizing war and bloodshed.

The third carries a balance scale, rides a black horse, and symbolizes famine, one might think the Four Horsemen

The fourth horseman rides a pale horse and is identified as Death.

Looking at what's happening in the Holy Land (or once-holy land) are here already. Are we now witnessing the Final Battle? I'm afraid to repeat my usual "Stay tuned."

VIDEO: "i know what the hell I'm doing!" sez Senile Joe

Last night, President Brandon decided [or was told. Ed.] to hold a presser in furious response to Special Counsel Robert Hur's bombshell report targeting his "hazy" memory. "I know what the hell I'm doing!" he snapped.

Moments later, Senile Joe gave the lie to his own angry statement, calling Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi "the president of Mexico" while discussing aid for Gaza. Yes, we (along with every media outlet in the world) have the video.

The octogenarian President made the fresh gaffe after avoiding prosecution for mishandling classified documents. The special prosecutor, Rober Hur, said Brnadon was an "elderly man with a poor memory", whom no jury would convict. Case closed!

Walt says it's time to stop flogging the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the Excited States of America, and invoke the 25th. Proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of JFK, that amendment provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation

Unlike the 14th Amendment, the 25th has actually been used within recent memory. The Watergate scandal of the `70s saw the application of these procedures, first when Gerald Ford replaced Spiro Agnew as vice president, then when he replaced Richard Nixon as president, and then when Nelson Rockefeller filled the resulting vacancy to become the vice president.

The only drawback I can see in applying the 25th Amendment in this case is that Camela Harris would become President. But hey, it would all be over in a few months!

Shocking news: Majority of Canucks think diversity is causing problems!

Here's something we were surprised to see in one of Canada's "legacy" (read" state-supported) newspapers. Still, at least the National Post's Tristin Hopper had the cojones to touch it. You wouldn't find it in the Toronto Red Star or the Groan and Wail.

[What IS it?! Ed.] OK, OK.... Blackie McBlackface, Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, has been repeating for over a decade the mantra that "Diversity is our strength!" Canadians are sick, sore and tired of being told that by Mr Socks and his lickspittle media. What's more, the majority of them don't believe it.

What's more, the Hamas-Israel war has fuelled a growing anti-immigrant backlash. Not all immigrants, you understand. Just those who bring with them the sectarian wars of the Middle East and Africa. According to a Leger-Postmedia poll, cited in this NatPo article, there has been a significant increase in the number who believe non-permanent residents who express hate towards minorities or support for terrorist groups should be deported from Canada

The poll finds that the majority of Canadians, both white and "other", call BS on "Diversity is our strength!", and believe that diversity can bring “problems” as well as benefits. Look at this.

The poll found a majority of respondents also endorsed the notion that newcomers should be encouraged to embrace Canada's values and traditions, and discard whatever cultural identity is incompatible with that.

51% of responders agreed with the statement that Canadian authorities "should do more to ensure newcomers accept Canadian values." An even higher proportion (55%) endorsed the notion that Canada's immigration policy should be premised on "encouraging newcomers to embrace broad mainstream values and traditions," and leaving behind any beliefs "that may be incompatible with that."

For starters, Walt recommends encouraging businesses and the media to stop using the phrase "Happy Holidays", and encouraging newcomers to exchange "Merry Christmas" wishes with old stock Canadians. I could go on. [Next time. Ed.]

As I was saying...

...in "Who's really behind the Great Replacement" (WWW, 15/11/23)...

Dear readers, the Great Replacement is all part of the Soros/WEF/Schwab plan to usher in the New World Order. It began long ago, but this latest phase is far from the end. Who's going to stop it before it's too late?! The only person the conspirators are afraid of is... wait for it... President Donald J. Trump!

Who's really behind the Great Replacement

While you go out and about today, take a look around you. No matter where in North America you live, even in more remote areas like Greater Ford Mudge, you will see more and more people who are not like you. Go ahead. See for yourself. Try your local foodbanks and homeless shelters. Yes, dear reader, the Great Replacement is not a theory. It's a fact!

The latest phase of the WEF/Soros/Schwab plan to fill Europe and America with Arabs, Africans and other unassimilable minorities, misfits and leftist revolutionaries is the propaganda campaign to shame the West into taking in millions of refugees from the Hamas-Israel war. They are not wanted in Israel (obviously) or Egypt (the only country with a land border with Gaza) or Saudi Arabia or any of the other Islamic statelets in the region. So where should they go? Why, to the West, of course!

Who says so?! None other than Israeli Finance Minister (((Bezalel Smotrich))), who yesterday called on Palestinians to "voluntarily emigrate" to Western countries. Mr Smotrich was responding to an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal written by Likud MKs (Members of the Israeli Knesset) (((Danny Danon))) and (((Yesh Atid))) callin on Western countries to accept Gazan refugees.

In "Israeli minister calls for widespread Palestinian emigration to West" (Jerusalem Post, 14/11/23), Mr Smotrich is quoted thus:

"I welcome the initiative of voluntary relocation of Gazan Arabs to countries worldwide. This is the right humanitarian solution for the residents of Gaza and the whole area after 75 years of being poor refugees.

"The majority of Gaza is fourth and fifth generations to 1948 refugees who, instead of being rehabilitated long ago like hundreds of millions of refugees around the world, were held hostage in Gaza in poverty and overcrowding and were a symbol of the desire to destroy the State of Israel and of the refugees' return to Jaffa, Haifa, Acre, and Tiberias."

He went on to say this has bred the hatred for Israel and Jews "upon which the population in Gaza is raised and educated" and led them to believe that the only solution is the destruction of Israel.

"The small area of the Gaza Strip, which doesn't have any natural resources or independent sources of income, has no chance of independent, economic, and diplomatic existence in such high density long-term. Therefore, the only solution to end the suffering and the pain of Jews and Arabs alike is for countries around the world who truly want what's good for the refugees to accept them along with support and economic aid from the international community, including the State of Israel."

Readers who are slapping their foreheads and exclaiming, "By Yahweh, he's right!" are invited to share their views with their representatives in Congress/Parliament/whatever. Don't just write or email. Get your traditional keffiyeh headscarf (available on Etsy for 30 pieces of silver) and join your comrades in the streets as they chant "From the river to the sea, you're welcome to our country!"

Sitting on the fence in the Hamas-Israeli war

If President 0 has spoken out on the latest Mid-East war, I haven't heard him. But this is the sort of mugwumpism I'd expect him to utter. Does it matter? Not if you believe that President Brandon formulates his own thoughts and policies. But if you think Barack Hussein just might be pulling Brandon's strings, it matters. The Democrats can't affored to alienate anybody, one short year before Judgment Day.

Getting back to the war between the Jews and the Muslims, which the Jews seem to be winning handily -- hence the pro-Muslim calls for an immediate ceasefire -- Mrs Walt asked me a good question as we watched video of the latest carnage: When Hamas decided to attack Israel, which has one of the strongest militaries in the Mid-East, if not the world, what did they think would happen?!

When you lie down with dogs...

Seen today on the Patriot Post site. I'm guessing that these people are the same as those who, with their liberal, progressive, etc friends, support the notion of peaceful coexistence -- Arabs and Israelis, Muslims and Jews, all getting along together within the confines of one state. Whatever happened to that notion?

On that point, and just to be clear [since you weren't, in your first post on the latest round of the perpetual Mid-East battle. Ed.] I think the two-state solution would be fine, but it's been tried and never had a chance of working -- a noble experiment.

Music video: Something appropriate for our times

Back in the hippy-dippy `60s, I was a member of the folk-song army. Well, not a member, exactly. More like a camp follower. I loved the songs of protest and/or solidarity, and sang them lustily. Hey, I did a lot of things lustily back then.

But I didn't subscribe to the political sentiment of such songs as "Whose Side Are You On?" or "We Shall Overcome". And you could write your own lyrics for songs of general protest like "We Shall Not Be Moved" and (my favourite) "Solidarity Forever".

There was one song, however that almost no-one could disagree with. It was written in 1949 and became a big hit for the Kingston Trio as early as 1955. "The Merry Little Minuet" pretty much encapsulated the state of the world in the early `60s, when I was at skule. And you know what? After six decades of "Give Peace A Chance", the world is just the same today... maybe even worse.

Feel free to substitute your own lyrics. You could begin with "They're dropping bombs on Is-ra-el..." It's hard to rhyme "Muslims" or "Hamas", but "Jews", "Iran", "war" and "more" are easy. If you come up with something half-way brilliant, you could sing it at whichever demonstration -- anti-Israel or anti-Palestine -- you choose to attend. Or maybe not. It won't help.
