UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" à Montréal? Errr, not exactly

The headline is pure speculation. The gunman who shot dead a civilian and a policeman today in Montréal's mainly Jewish Côte-des-Neiges ghetto neighbourhood may have been a Muslim. Or he may have been some other kind of anti-Semite. Or someone who decided to kill a few people regardless of their ethnicity or faith.

First the facts, then our questions. Just before noon EDT, Montréal police were called to the scene pictured above near the intersection of Trans-Island Ave. and Ave. de Courtrai, near the Supermarché PA on Westbury Ave. A man dressed in camo gear and armed with a "long gun" killed a civilian and a cop. A second cop, a woman, was wounded. The shooter was also shot dead.

The "armed threat" alert issued for the Côte-des-Neiges area was lifted around 1515. as "the immediate threat to the public is no longer present." Although officers on the scene initially told The Gazette they were searching for a possible second suspect, Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) Chief Fady Dagher later said he believes there was only one suspect involved in the shootings.

The buildings in the area house condos, rental units, offices and commercial spaces, and are also home to many Jewish residents, many of whom reported numerous antisemitic incidents since the 7/10/23 attacks in Israel, including mezuzahs being knocked from doorways in the complex.

More recently, the social-media account Leviathan identified a Montréal man who allegedly praised Hitler and threatened Jewish Montréalers, raising further alarm on Jewish social-media platforms. Police had not confirmed that the shooting was directed at the Jewish community, nor would Chief Dagher confirm who was responsible for killing the civilian victim.

He urged the public and media outlets not to circulate graphic images, rumours or unconfirmed information. "Be very careful of rumours," he said. "The event that concerns us today has been neutralized. What motivated him is still unclear."

Well (Walt sez), what else could he say? Dead men, of which the shooter is one, tell no tales. The cops know his identity of course, but are keeping shtum about his ethnicity, his status in Canada ("refugee"? asylum-seeker? illegal alien?) and his religion (if any). Was it a hate crime? Or terrorism? Or both? Forgive us if we jump to a conclusion. If anything that suggests a possible motive is ever divulged by the politically correct authorities, we'll let you know.

UPDATE ADDED 23/6/26 at 0625 FMT: The man accused of killing a Montreal police officer in the city's heavily Jewish Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood before being shot dead by police left behind a 104-page manifesto filled with explicit antisemitism, anti-Zionist rhetoric, Communist ideology, and grievances commonly associated with the online "incel" movement.

The manifesto repeatedly attacks Jews and Zionists, claiming there are "many Jews" within the Western ruling class and stating that the author sometimes refers to it as the "Judaeo-bourgeois class."

A copy of the document obtained by Rebel News further alleges that "the influence of Zionist Jews upon the western bourgeoisie is in fact so strong" that it has shaped Western society itself, and goes on to assert that "Jewish interests dominate the levers of finance, media, and politics," describing this alleged influence as "pervasive and corrosive."

VIDEO: Disaffected Michael Matt asks: Did you REALLY vote for this?

I am one of the many 1000s who are (to put it mildly) disappointed that President Trump has not yet succeeded in Making America Great Again. I think POPTUS made a hyuge (mildly, again) mistake in attacking Iran, after having promised to keep us from getting entangled in any more Mid-East wars, and putting the treasure spent on Iraq and Afghanistan to better use at home. And yet, here we are, wondering how in hell he's going to get America out of this hot mess. See "WINNING! "The war is over!" POTUS orders 5000 troops back to USA", WWW 2/5/26.

I know Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, agrees with me [or vice versa. Ed.] Here's an excerpt from the latest edition of the Remnant Underground, in which Mr Matt asks: What's going on with Trump's America? Is this what we voted for?!

ICYMI, Mr Matt said it seems to him that there's not much to choose from between the Trump Republicans and "the other guys", that neither party seems prepared to do what is necessary to truly fix a broken America. He might agree with my argument in "Uniparty politics FAILS in UK... still working in Canada though", WWW 10/5/26, that we (the AABC countries) are headed in the wrong direction, no matter which half of the Uniparty is in power.

NYC bomb related to POTUS' recognizing Jerusalem as Israel capital?

Fox News reports that several people were injured and one person was in custody after an explosion near New York City's Port Authority bus terminal during this morning's rush hour, prompting mass chaos and halting multiple subway lines, according to a report citing law enforcement sources.

NYPD and the FDNY confirmed to Fox News they are investigating reports of an explosion "of an unknown origin" near 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue. Police tweeted A, C, E subways lines are being evacuated. NYC Office of Emergency Management also tweeted there was "police activity" near West 42nd Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues and advised commuters to expect delays.

I'm listening to the rangdeedio right now, hoping to learn more. Another source says the explosion was caused by a pipe bomb in a walkway or tunnel under the bus terminal. No word yet on the citizenship, ethnicity or religion of the person taken into custody. Of course that person may or not be the bomber, and may or may not be named "Mohammed" something or other.

Regardless of whether or not the perp is an Islamic extremist, I predict the bombing (if that's what it was) will be blamed by the lamestream media, Democrats and other anti-Trumpers on POTUS' statement last week that the US of A officially recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel. (Lifetime pct .986.) A lot of people -- Western politicians as well as bitter Palestinians and fanatical Muslims -- seem to be pretty worked up about this, so let's examine it.

Regular readers should know that I hold no brief for Israel or the Jews. Any reasonably astute observer of the politics and economics of America and the rest of the West should know, too, that the things that really matter -- banks and the monetary system, the lamestream media, even the entertainment industry -- are controlled by international Jewry. One of the most powerful political groups in the USA, and Washington in particular, is the Jewish lobby. Both openly and secretly, Jews provide major funding to both the Democrats and Republicans. No matter who's in power, you will never never find the nominal rulers of America challenging or even criticizing Israel.

Israel is, when you think about it, the creation of Adolf Hitler. Lots of Jews -- maybe not 6 million, but lots -- died or were displaced in World War II, and the victorious Allies, suffering badly from Christian guilt, decided that something must be done for those who survived. Like giving them their Promised Land. Not a chunk of Europe, of course, but some other land, inhabited (if at all) by less deserving people. And so, out of a barren territory called Palestine, the United Nations carved the "Zionist entity" known as Israel.

Speaking yesterday at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, (((Benjamin Netanyahu))), the President of Israel, said that Jerusalem has for 1000s of years been "the capital of the Jewish state." You could look it up, he said. "It's in the Bible." That is true if one speaks of the homeland of the Jews in the religious sense, but only partially true if one looks at world politics and international law.

A century ago, as World War I drew to a close, the territory in question was part of the Ottoman Empire, the Turkish-ruled "sick man of Europe". When the sick man lay dying, the Great Powers -- Britain and France, in this case -- carved up the Middle East between them. You can find a reference to the Sykes-Picot agreement of 1916 in the movie Lawrence of Arabia. Britain's share included the land of Palestine, which had been a southern part of Syria. (The French got the northern part of Syria -- lucky them.) The British mandatory territory of Palestine was established by the League of Nations, and existed from 1920 until 1948, with its capital at Jerusalem.

Under the 1947 UN Partition Plan to divide Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, Jerusalem was meant to be placed under international sovereignty and control. It was granted special status based on its importance to the three Abrahamic religions -- Judaism, Christianity and Islam. As so often happens in that awful part of the world, war broke out following the UN's recommendation, and in 1948 Zionist forces took control of the western half of Jerusalem and declared the territory part of its state.

Not quite two decades later there was another war between the Arabs and Israelis, worse for the Arabs than the first. During the Six-Day War, Israel captured the eastern half of Jerusalem, which was under Jordanian control at the time, and effectively annexed it by extending Israeli law, bringing it directly under Israeli jurisdiction. This is what lawyers call de facto jurisdiction, meaning an administration or government that holds power as a matter of fact, not necessarily as a matter of law.

Having thus had de facto control of all of Jerusalem since 1967, the Israeli government, in 1980, Israel passed the "Jerusalem Law", stating that "Jerusalem, complete and united, is the capital of Israel", thereby formalising its annexation of East Jerusalem. And that's how the situation stands today, as far as the state of Israel is concerned. Until President Trump's announcement, no other country -- well, none that counts -- acknowledged... or denied... the validity of the Jerusalem Law. Most countries -- the ones that count -- maintain their embassies and other missions in Tel Aviv, the capital ordered by the UN Partition Plan, which still remains Israel's commercial capital.

What the anti-Trumpers aren't admitting is that the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is not an idea that sprang fully formed out of President Trump's mind. Egged on by the powerful Zionist lobby (see above), the 104th Congress passed, on 23 October 1995, the Jerusalem Embassy Act, signed into law by the unimpeachable President William Jefferson Clinton.

The purpose of the Jerusalem Embassy Act was to initiate and fund the relocation of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That was to be done by 31 May 1999, at the latest. The Act also calls for Jerusalem to remain an undivided city and for it to be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel. You can look it up!

For reasons which we can only guess, Presidents Clinton, Bush II, and Obama, ignored the wishes of Congress and the law of the land, and refused to implement the Jerusalem Embassy Act. Their excuse was that the Act was a Congressional infringement on the executive branch's constitutional authority over foreign policy. All three of them consistently claimed the presidential waiver on national security interests.

President Trump signed the waiver in June 2017, but apparently changed his mind some time later and decided to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital -- which it is, as a matter of fact -- and begin the relocation of the US embassy, as required by American law. If any political scientist or constitutional scholar can advance a good argument for doing otherwise, I would like to hear it.

Footnote: Quod scripsi, scripsi. But I still like the illustration Ed. chose for this piece. My preference would be to see Jerusalem declared an international city, the capital of neither Israel nor the proposed separate Palestinian state. I fear that solution is too sensible, too peaceful to be accepted by the extremists, whether Zionist or Islamist. I expect the war of words... and worse... to continue.

How Obama fooled the Jews and took their money

This week the Security Council of the (Dis)united Nations voted to condemn the illegal seizure by the Jewish state (Israel) of Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and the occupied Left Bank. Much to the chagrin of the powerful Zionist lobby in Washington, the USA abstained, even though its veto would have defeated the resolution.

The Jews are predictably furious, accusing President 0 and his minion, John Kerry, of betraying them. This after all the Jews did for Obama and the Democrats. Israel's enemies dream of destroying the Jewish state as the first phase of establishing a global caliphate. Now Obama has now encouraged that dream, and the Jews are rending their garments.

The Jewish Federations across North America (JFNA) issued a statement saying it was "deeply disappointed" that the US did not veto the UN motion. The refusal to do so, they said, "undermined a core principle of American foreign policy that has been embraced by Democratic and Republican Administrations for decades." Moreover, they said it was "tragic that the [Obama] Administration chose to mar its legacy of support for the Jewish State and set back the prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace."

The Orthodox Union joined the JFNA at the wailing wall, announcing that it was "gravely disappointed" with the Prez. Not vetoing the motion, they said, "undermined his legacy" and was an "unprecedented and deeply disturbing break from the past."

The leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations said that there was "no justification or explanation that validates the United States failure to veto the one-sided, offensive resolution adopted by the Security Council," and that the "United States vote will be seen as a betrayal of the fundamentals of the special relationship" between Israel and America.

One of the loudest cries of anger and anguish came from famed criminal lawyer (((Alan Dershowitz))), a lifelong supporter of the Democratic Party, Barry Obama and, yes, Shrillery Clinton. Mr Dershowitz defended Mr Obama in the court of public opinion when people said the Prez was, if not a practising Muslim, at least an anti-Semite. Now it seems the bromance is over.

In "How Barack Obama fooled the Jews and betrayed them once he had their money" (National Post, 30/12/16), (((Lawrence Solomon))) writes that Mr Dershowitz "finally sees the evidence that had been in plain sight all along, and now understands the extent of Obama's deception. It was 'so nasty. He pulled a bait-and-switch', he says, explaining how Obama in private pretended that it was 'the settlements deep in the West Bank' that were negotiable, not the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, so core to Judaism and to Israel’s heritage."

Mr Solomon presents another, even more trenchant quote. "'(President Obama) called me into the Oval Office before the election and he said to me, 'Alan, I want your support. And I have to tell you, I will always have Israel's back.' I didn't realize that what he meant was that he'd have (Israel's) back to stab them in the back."

The article goes on to explain that winning Jewish support wasn't especially important to Obama and other Democrats in terms of votes. Jews represent just 2% of the American electorate, so they don't count for much at the ballot box. But Jews are huuugely important — even decisive — when it comes to political donations. The Jews are overwhelmingly liberal, and their 2% of the voting population accounts for about two-thirds of all donations received by the Democratic Party. Putting it another way, Jews donate twice as much to Democrats as the 98% of voters who are non-Jews.

The importance of Jewish money to Democratic fortunes (Mr Solomon writes) explains why Mr Obama waited to make his moves against Israel until after his two presidential campaigns and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, who he hoped would preserve his legacy. If Jews had understood his real intentions toward Israel, Mr Obama knew, they would have stopped writing cheques.

Walt predicts that it will take the Democrats at least a generation to recover from B. Hussein Obama's betrayal of their rich and powerful Zionist benefactors. Jews don’t like being made fools of, especially in public, especially by someone of Mr Obama's complexion!

VIDEO: The forced collective suicide of European nations

Anyone who doubts that the invasion of Europe by the Muslim hordes is well and truly under way should watch this video. Running time is 19:31. Parts of the audio have been deleted to avoid copyright problems. Thanks to Agent 6 for sending us the link.

Here's a commentary on the video, by the person who edited it and posted it to YouTube. The emphasis is Walt's.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly." - Marcus Tullius Cicero, 106-43 BC

You are witnessing what will be shown to future generations as the reason for the fall of an empire. At current immigration levels and disappearing birth rates native Europeans are destined to become a minority in their own countries within decades. This is already the case for many of Europe's largest cities.

Europeans have effectively lost their right to exist as cultures and nations in their own homelands and are facing extinction. Millions of young Muslim men leave behind their family, pay thousands to criminal traffickers to reach the land they have been promised by European politicians illegally. Dubbed by the media as "refugees", they cross through 6-10 safe countries to reach wealthy nations like Germany or Sweden where they hope to receive a better life at the expense of the taxpayer. Only a fraction of them are Syrian, as they enter unfiltered, without any documents and without any legitimate right to claim asylum. Women and children are rarely seen, except in the cherry-picked sob stories of the media.

Any indigenous resistance of Europeans who refuse to hand over the countries of their ancestors to often radical and criminal Muslim foreigners is labeled "hateful", "racist", even "Nazi". The level of cultural, moral and political subversion with egalitarian and Marxist ideologies has reached levels the KGB would never have dreamed of. Equality and tolerance are lies that serve none but a few.

The Left, mainly orchestrated by Zionist interests, is destroying our countries from the inside. Patriotism, the most basic and fundamental trait of any nation that wants to survive, has become something to be ashamed of. Feminism has destroyed family values and birth rates. Healthy nationalism has been replaced with a culture of guilt, self-hatred, apathy, degeneracy and pathological altruism.

We are told to embrace "diversity". In reality this simply means instead of just being a global minority, Europeans are supposed to become a minority in their own countries as well. No civilized society can keep up with the birth rate of third world immigrants, especially when the main goal is integration rather than assimilation. Parallel societies breed poverty, crime and radicalism.

Multiculturalism has never, at any time in human history, worked anywhere. If you believe otherwise, you're delusional. In fact it's the primary reason for every major conflict.

The crimes committed by the EU against the European peoples are directly in violation of the 1948 UN genocide convention, Article II: (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Because of this injustice, rightist parties everywhere in Europe are gaining astonishing amounts of support. [See "German anti-immigrant party makes big gains: the meaning for the USA", WWW 14/3/16.]

Any European who does not rise up to defend his country from foreign invasion because he's too scared of words does not deserve it.

69 years later

Someone sent us a chain e-mail being circulated on the Internet by "friends of Israel" and others being taken in by the pro-Israel spewings of Jewish propaganda machine ["mainstream press", surely! Ed.] It begs us to make sure the world never forgets the Holocaust, and to pass it on so that it reaches 40 million people.

NO. Walt will not be passing it on, and will not even say "sorry".

As regards the massacre unfolding in Gaza, I have no sympathy for Hamas, and even less for the Israelis. Israel was created by the United Nations because the Western nations felt guilty about the Holocaust, so decided to give the Jews their "promised land". But of course they didn't give away their land. No. Instead they took some land from poor ignorant Arabs -- the Palestinians -- and said, hey, you have to share this with the Jews because they used to live here before they got smart and moved to Europe, besides which "we" owe them...for the Holocaust, you know.

Have you ever tried sharing anything with a Jew? The Jews occupied the best parts of the territory they were given, then, not satisfied, occupied the West Bank, the Golan Heights, Gaza and the Sinai peninsula during the Six Day War of 1967. About 90 seconds after moving into the Sinai, they discovered there was nothing there but sand, so gave it back to the Egyptians.

Richard Gwyn tells us, in Nationalism Without Walls (McClelland and Stewart, 1995) that there are two kinds of "nations". One is a "state nation", in which the rights and responsibilities of citizenship are extended, more or less, equally, to all citizens regardless of colour, ethnicity, creed (etc etc). Almost all of the countries of North America and Europe [and Australasia! Ed.] fit that definition.

The other kind is the "ethnic nation", which is composed of people of a certain ethnicity/colour/creed, and in which people not of that ethnicity/colour/creed are second-class citizens in fact if not in law. The ethnic nation may exist only in the minds of its people (like Québec), or it may have sovereignty over a defined piece of territory... like Israel. No matter what the UN may have intended, Israel is the land of the Jews, not the Muslim Palestinians, just as Pakistan is the land of Muslims, not Hindus or Christians.

When Iran calls Israel "the Zionist entity", it is stating a fact which gets ignored in all the breast-beating and hand-wringing over Western liberal guilt about the Holocaust, and Israel's "right" to defend itself and its "promised land". The Jews tell us that God gave Israel to them -- just them -- but apparently He didn't make a very good job of it, so now it's their right to "defend" it. And if a few hundred Muslim civilians get taken out, well, that's because they won't get out of the way.

Walt wishes the Jewish propaganda machine -- read "lamestream media" -- would spare us these endless appeals to guilt and the culture of the victim. The body count, last time I looked, was about 20 to 1. That's 20 dead Palestinian Muslims (mostly civilians) for every dead Israeli Jew (mostly soldiers). If there's a Holocaust to be remembered, it's the one going on in Gaza right now.

And now... anti-Semitic GESTURES!

Until very recently, a quenelle was (only) a delicious Lyonnais dish consisting of creamed fish, chicken, or meat, sometimes combined with breadcrumbs, with a light egg binding, usually poached. Now, however, the word has acquired another meaning, which is drawing the ire of progressive thinkers and the PC police across Europe -- especially France.

As this article on the LePoint website explains, a quenelle is now a gesture, which they call "an ersatz Nazi salute".

Ersatz? Looks to Walt more like a reversed Nazi salute, with the arm extended downwards in an upside-down Sieg Heil manner. With your other arm -- I know you're already trying this at home -- you reach across your chest and touch your shoulder. Got it?

But what does it mean? Like many gestures, the quenelle is subject to interpretation. Wikipedia says the gesture was "invented" by a French "political activist and comedian" [= wiseacre. Ed.] named Dieudonné M'bala M'bala. [How French is that? Ed.]

His name (and the accompanying photo) suggest that M M'bala M'bala is a gentleman of the coloured persuasion. In the USA, it is not unknown for black "activists" to be strongly against Jews and Zionism. Malcolm X, Jesse Jackson, "the Rev" Al Sharpton and even the sainted Martin Lucifer King all made anti-Semitic statements [rants, surely. Ed.] at one time or another.

Da man (Dieudonné) says the quenelle is "an anti-establishment gesture," but critics -- and there are many! -- describe it as an expression of anti-Semitism -- an underhanded manner of expressing hatred for Jews without inviting legal prosecution. The negative intent of the gesture, they say, is further underlined by Dieudonné's history of anti-Semitic remarks and racial hatred convictions. Dieudonne was widely denounced for saying about Jewish journalist, Patrick Cohen: "When I hear Patrick Cohen speaking, I say to myself, you see, the gas chambers … too bad [they no longer exist]."

That's all ye know and all ye need to know.

The friend of mine enemy is likewise mine enemy

The Boston Marathon bombing has provoked a fit of "terrorist target envy" in the Great White North. Canada's Prime Minister, "Call me Steve" Harper, is seriously vexed. He and his bumboy John "Nancy" Baird have been so vocal in their attacks on the enemies of Israel, yet the Islamic extremists keep targetting the Excited States of America. Tain't fair!

Sergeant Dudley Dooright of the RCMP and Col. Beau Gosse of CSIS (Canada's feckless "intelligence" agency) were duly summoned to Ottawa and told they'd better discover ["manufacture", surely. Ed.] some kind of Islamic fundamentalist threat to the Land of the Maple Leaf and Home of the Bieber right sharpish.

Right on cue, Canuck police and intelligence services arrested two men with beards yesterday, accusing them of plotting to attack a VIA Rail passenger train "with the intention of inflicting mass casualities and causing terror on Canadian soil". All this with the "direction and guidance" of "al-Qaeda elements in Iran", of course.

"Had this plot been carried out, it would have resulted in people being killed or seriously injured," a Mounted Police spokesthingy told the press yesterday. He was apparently referring to VIA's passengers -- Tyler and Tracy Luney of Pickering ON -- and innocent people passing the train on bicycles and skateboards.

The RCMP said the suspects had scouted railroads in the Toronto area as part of their preparations. The pair had been under investigation for an extended period of time and investigators said they were ready to act if they went into action. [I know it's early, but can you try to write more coherently? Ed.]

The Mounties also said that the suspects "are not Canadian citizens". Doubtless someone -- perhaps Immigration Minister Jason Kenney -- knows where they came from and how they got into Canada, but this information has, errr, not been forthcoming.

Yesterday's arrests come at an auspicious time for the Harpoon government, as Canada's House of Commons gets set to debate a bill that would strengthen Canada's anti-terrorism laws.

The timing of the debate is more than a little suspect. The "new" bill S-7, which will authorize such things as arrest without trial, was introduced in Canada's Senate a year ago. That august body (Hello, Senator Puffy!) gave it some quasi-sober thought and sent it to the Commons, errr, four months ago.

Why the sudden urgency to proceed with it now? Well, Monday was supposed to be an "opposition day" on which newly-crowned Liberal leader Justin Trudeau was to introduce a motion to limit the powers of the party whips to control which MPs could speak and on what issues. Since the governing Conservatives are grappling with a backbench rebellion on that very issue, the draconian anti-terrorism bill suddenly took priority.

Speaking from behind his moustache, Canada's Public Safety Minister Vic Toews averred that, "Today's arrest shows that terrorism continues to be a real threat to Canada. The success...is due to the fact that Canada works very closely with its international partners to combat terrorism."

Walt says it's the "international partners" that are the problem. The threat of terrorist attacks on Canada and Canadians increases proportionately as the Harper government's support of Zionism and American adventurism in the Middle East. If, when al-Qaeda and other Islamic extremists point their guns at the USA, Canada is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Uncle Sam [and Uncle Bibi. Ed.], Canada is bound to get hit. Call it "collateral damage".

Democrats appeal to God... but not much

As you know, Walt was away for a couple of days. My intention was to go to one of my favourite southern cities to watch the spectacle of southern and western Democrats holding their noses for the renomination of Hussein Obama.

I was told, however, that I would be recognized -- not as a speaker or delegate but as a reasonably able, straight, white male, and a Catholic to boot, thus Surplus to Requirements. In other words, my kind is not much wanted in the Grand Conclave of the Politically Correct.

Seems, though, that a few Christians snuck in the door, and exerted sufficient pressure to persuade the Dems to change their convention platform to add one (1) mention of God. Following criticism from the GOP, who got God into their platform twelve (12) times, the Democrats reinstated language from their 2008 platform that said "we need a government that stands up for the hopes, values and interests of working people and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential."

This very small and wet sop to religious Americans -- now shrinking to minority status, at least in Obama's party -- was not unopposed. Convention chairman Antonio Villaraigosa called three (3) times for a vote on the motion to amend, before declaring it approved without a vote being taken. His ruling was met with a loud chorus of booze ["boos", surely! Ed.] and cheers ["jeers", surely! Ed.] and cries of "God is dead and we hope he hears us!"

Having pacified the Christians, the Democrats also decided to get the Jews onside. (Not that there was ever much chance of their backing a Mormon and a Catholic!) In a paradigm of pandering, the party declared that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

What's interesting about that move is that it's said to reflect Obama’s personal views on the city claimed as holy by Jews, Christians and Muslims. [In that order, too. Ed.] If that be the case, does it mean that Obama's America would go to war -- against Iran, let's say -- to preserve the status of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity? Just asking.

Palestinians an "invented people", sez Newt

One of "Pissedasa" Newt Gingrich's weaknesses -- other than a propensity for serial adultery -- is his tendency to open his mouth only to change feet. This week the Jewish Channel [Which one? Ed.] aired an interview with Mr. G in which he declared that Palestinians are an "invented people" who want to destroy Israel. Here's a clip.

This kind of talk puts Newt at odds with official US policy that respects the Palestinians as a people deserving of their own state based on negotiations with Israel. So says President Al O'Bama, whom some think may be a closet Muslim himself. But it doesn't wash with Newt.

"Remember, there was no Palestine as a state. It was part of the Ottoman Empire" until the early 20th century, Gingrich said. "I think that we've had an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs, and who were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places, and for a variety of political reasons we have sustained this war against Israel now since the 1940s, and it's tragic," he said.

Could it be that Gingrich pulled an all-nighter on his research, and got his history wrong by a century or so? Most historians put the beginning of Palestinian Arab nationalist sentiment in 1834, when Arab residents of the Palestinian region revolted against Ottoman rule. [Arabs revolting? Really? Ed.]

The boundaries of modern-day Israel -- before 1967, that is -- were drawn along the lines of a 1947 United Nations plan for ethnic partition of the then British-ruled territory of Palestine. The Arabs, underestimating as usual the strength of the Zionist wind, rejected the plan, but it went ahead anyway.

Today, Arabs and Israelis remain deeply divided over what the boundaries of the two states should be, as well as on the fate of millions of Palestinian refugees who remain displaced since the Jews swarmed into the West Bank and other parts of the land which was set aside for the Arabs.

Whose side is Gingrich on? And why? Newt may have a tendency to speak before fully engaging his brain, but he's no dummy. [Unlike Perry! Ed.] He knows that vowing to bolster US ties with Israel if elected will buy him millions of votes, not just from the Jews but through the influence of the Jewish-controlled lamestream media. What he's trying to do, with statements like this, is outZionise his opponents.

The secret of Iran's success

Walt has become more than a little bored with the neverending turmoil in the Middle East. It appears that the Muslims' plans to overrun Europe on the way to North America may be slowed down somewhat by their propensity to fight with each other. How many westerners understand the divisions within Islam? I sometimes think there's more diversity amongst Muslims than amongst Baptists! But I digress...

While the Muslim Brotherhood is fomenting revolution in North Africa, the fundamentalist Islamic government of Iran has its eyes -- and its gunsights -- fixed firmly on "the Zionist entity" to the west. That would be Israel, land of the self-chosen people and darling of the Zionist-lovers in Washington, London and Ottawa.

The Iranians deny the existence of Israel. Their maps just show a gap between Jordan and the Mediterranean. The forces of the Ayatollahs would like to fill in the blank with the word "Palestine". Rumour says that they have (or almost have) the nukes with which to inflict a bit of payback for the Seven Day War, and generally blow the chosen people into the next kingdom -- not meaning Jordan!

According to the ultra-liberal British newspaper The Guardian Iran's barking mad president Ahmadinejad is getting help not just from his friends in Saudi Arabia but from the dark forces of "unknown worlds". He stands accused of using supernatural powers to further his policies amid an increasingly bitter power struggle with the country's "supreme leader", Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Ahmadinnerplate, it seems, is obsessed with the supposedly imminent return of the Hidden Imam Mahdi -- the saviour of Shia Islam, whose reappearance is anticipated by believers in a manner comparable to that with which Christian fundamentalists anticipate the second coming of Christ.

Ahmadinabind's obsession with the hidden imam is well known. He often refers to him in his speeches and in 2009 said that he had documentary evidence that the US was trying to prevent Mahdi's return. A video has been circulated in which he is heard telling a leading ayatollah of having felt "a light" coming from the imam, while making a fiery speech to the UN on Iran's nuclear programme.

Mr. Ahmadinejad is unabashed about his robust beliefs on the hidden imam. "His name is known and he will emerge and establish justice in the world," the prez told a press conference. "I'm proud of this belief. It's not just a religious belief, it's very progressive. A belief in the 12th imam is a belief in the world of tomorrow."

The world of tomorrow... Judging by the wimpy way the West is standing up to the Muslims, he might just be right.

London Olympic logo Zionist propaganda?

Iran is threatening to boycott of the 2012 London Olympics because it claims the official logo for the games resembles the word "Zion," which is a biblical term for Jerusalem.

The secretary-general of Iran's National Olympic Committee, Bahram Afsharzadeh, says he sent a letter to IOC president Jacques Rogge in which he condemns the logo as "racist" and calls upon other Muslim countries to join in protest.

The logo was unveiled four years ago to mass criticism, almost all of which had to do with the awkward, bulky design and not pro-Zionist conspiracy. I can't see the problem, but I read from left to right, top to bottom. Probably I'm missing something.
