UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" in Manchester UK

Today is Yom Kippur -- the Day of Atonement -- the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. In grimy Manchester, a post-industrial city in the Disunited Kingdom, there are two fewer Jews to attone.

And one less [insert whatever adjective you think fits] terrorist two. Police say they have shot a suspect in an attack outside a synagogue in the north of Manchester in which two people were killed, adding they are treating it as a "terrorist" attack. 

Greater Manchester Police said in a series of posts on X today that they were called to the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall shortly after 0930 BST by a member of the public, who said he had witnessed a car being rammed into people and that one man had been stabbed. 

Police confirmed that two people were killed in the attack, and a third person, suspected to be the attacker, who was shot dead by police. The Peelers could not confirm if the suspect was dead "due to safety issues surround suspicious items [read: explosives] on his person." Nor could they give any information on the attacker's identity, background, religion or possible motivation. The lickspittle media have already broadcast the usual disclaimers.

If it turns out that our suspicions are correct, you might hear about it on your local TV outlet, following the sports and weather. Or not. But you'll get the truth right here on WWW.

UPDATE ADDED at 1410 FMT: Suspicions confirmed! Here's the stabby Jew-killer, identified as a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent, named (appropriately enough) Jihad Al-Shamie.

Inspector Knacker of the Manchester constabulary told reporters, "We are now able to confirm that, although formal identification is yet to take place, we believe the person responsible for today’s attacks is 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie." He did not, however, say anything about Mr Al-Shamie's possible motive. Sez Walt, "shame, shame on Shamie!"

"Allahu akbar!" in Israel; whose side are you on?

So, it begins. Or, as President Trump said, "Here we go again!" I'm sure you've heard the news, so won't refry it. From here, the Hamas attacks -- already being described as "sneak attacks" or "Pearl Harbor-style attacks" -- on Israel look like just the beginning of the latest phase of a decades-long conflict. 

This chances of a quick resolution of any war between Muslims and Jews -- for that's what we have here, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu 00 are slim and none. While we wait, I'm watching to see how the (((controlled media))) are playing this. 

Without exception the lickspittle media are taking the side of Israel, and all progressive, correct-thinking people are expected to see things that way. If you don't, you're an anti-Semite, just like those people who hung this banner from a bridge over Toronto's Gardiner Expressway earlier today.

What's odd about this is that the propagandists doing all the pissing and moaning about the evil Muslims are the same ones who for years now have been castigating those of us who have problems with the Religion of Peace as "Islamophobes". They're the same ones who tell us that Ukrainians are right to defend their lands against the Russian occupiers. Shome dichotomy there, shurely?

In Israel or Palestine (whichever you prefer) Christians are "the meat in the sandwich". In Africa they say that when two elephants fight, it's the grass that gets trampled. So I'm not taking sides in this one. I  just hope that the US of A (and Canada -- the B team) isn't called on to break up the fight. We've seen that movie, and recently too. It didn't end well.

Meanwhile, Blackie McBlackface, Prime Minister of all Canuckistan, bleats [Tweets, shurely! Ed.] "Canada stands with Israel!" Really? Isn't he the one who just yesterday (it seems) was shaming Canucks for their Islamophobia?

Volodymyr Zelensky - survivor of survivors

In June of 1941, Hitler's Army began a rampage through Ukraine, razing towns, unleashing death squads, and massacring Jews by the hundreds of thousands. In one village in the Pale of Settlement, virtually the only region of the Soviet Empire in which Jews were permitted to reside, four Jewish brothers enlisted in the military, said goodbye to their parents, and walked off to fight the Nazis. 

By the war's end in 1945, only one of the brothers, named Semyon, was still alive. He returned to find that the Nazis had torched his entire village, burning his parents to death. Semyon's family was dead, and his beloved Ukraine was in ruins. 

The Nazis had murdered between 1.2 and 1.6 million Ukrainian Jews. Semyon married a fellow Ukrainian Jew who had survived the war by fleeing her city, in which the Nazis had killed 5,000 Jews. Two years later, in that same city, they had a son, Oleksandr, keeping alive the family line that the Nazis had brought a razor's width from extinction. 

Thirty-one years after that, Oleksandr had his own little boy. That boy was Volodymyr Zelensky, who grew up to become the President of independent, democratic Ukraine. 

Today, he leads his outmanned, outgunned, ferociously defiant nation against the onslaught of Russia. As Russia dashes itself against the will of his people, Zelensky, the survivor of survivors, summons the resilience of his ancestors. He does not bend.

I don't remember the 1943 event very well, but the Detroit Rebellion is clear in my mind. You could see the smoke from across the river in Canada, which is where sensible Americans went to wait it out. And of course there was the TV news. Images of mobs of black people (they weren't "Black", back then) in the streets, protesting discrimination and racism, demanding equality and justice...

...and maybe doing a bit of "reparations shopping". Of course it wasn't called that, in those more innocent days. It was called "looting", `cause that's what it was! Martin Luther King would be horrified, I think, to see what's being done nowadays, in his name and in the name of "justice".

"No justice, no peace!" That's what they're yelling now. In the long hot summer of 1967, it was "Burn, baby, burn!" The point of yesterday's  post was to predict another long hot summer, a "summer of rage". Lifetime pct .991. 

I think now that I should have added "and riots" to that phrase. UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" in Texas - Hostage-taker was British Muslim

This is just a short report, since it's Sunday morning and I have better things to do. And I'm tired of these stories. Anyhoo... 

Around 1100 CST yesterday, police were called to Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville TX (a suburb of Dallas), where a man was reported to have interrupted the Shabbat service. 

A live stream of the service on Facebook (since deleted, for some reason) captured audio of a man talking loudly. He could be heard saying: "You get my sister on the phone," and "I am gonna die!" He was also heard saying: "There's something wrong with America." [No kidding! Ed.]

Four people, including the rabbi, were taken hostage. Others were evacuated from the area shortly after.

Apparently the attacker, who has not been named, but has been identified as a "Muslim citizen of Britain", was demanding the release of Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani neuroscientist who is currently serving an 86-year prison term in the USA, having been convicted of trying to kill American soldiers while in custody in Afghanistan. 

The attacker claimed to be Ms Siddiqui's brother, but her attorney told the Clinton News Network that the hostage-taker was not her brother, saying Siddiqui's family condemned his "heinous" actions. [No kidding! Ed.]

Texas resident Victoria Francis, who was watching the livestream before it cut out, told AP that she heard the man rant against America and claim he had a bomb. "He was pretty irritated and the more irritated he got, he'd make more threats," she said. 

The cops sent in the SWAT team, while FBI negotiators spent hours talking to the assailant. Explosions and gunfire could be heard before the ten-hour stand-off ended and the hostages released unharmed. Not so the unidentified (so far) jihadi wannabe, who was sent to Paradise where he is presumably being serviced by 72 virgins.

 

UPDATE added at noon: Authorities have identified the Colleyville synagogue hostage-taker as 44-year-old Malik Faisal Akram, a British citizen. No more information about Akram has been provided. As to the late Mr Akram's motivation, FBI Special Agent in Charge Matthew DeSarno said "We will continue to work to find motives.... We believe that, from engaging with the subject, he was singularly focused on one issue and it was not specifically related to the Jewish community." [Seriously? Ed.]

Further update added 17/1/22 @ 0600. Greater Manchester (UK) police announced yesterday that "Two teenagers were detained in South Manchester this evening. They remain in custody." Isn't that interesting! The FBI's field office in Dallas had earlier said there was "no indication" that anyone else was involved in the attack on the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue. And then this, mere hours later.

Innocent question from Walt: Mr Akram, a resident of the Blackburn area of Lancashire, UK, arrived in America just two weeks ago. Who let him in? Did anyone ask him his reason for coming to the USA? Just askin'... 

Apparently Mr Malik's brother, Gulbar Malik, wondered the same thing. "He's known to police," the brother told an interviewer from Sky News. "Got a criminal record. How was he allowed to get a visa and acquire a gun?" Good question, to which the FBI/DHS/CBP has no answers.

"Walk Like a Refugee" a test of endurance for plucky Jewish family

The following is a précis of a story which appeared recently in Niagara This Week -- the newspaper that's worth every cent you pay for it. It had such an emetic effect on Agent 3 that he passed it along to us to share with all those who may be a bit bloated after the holiday weekend.

These folks are the (((Bromstein-Jagers))), (((Elizabewth Bromstein))), her husband (((David Jager))) and their 5-year-old daughter, Kismet. They enjoy life in west Toronto, and are keen to help Muslim refugees come to enjoy life in the Great No-longer-white North. In 2016 they started a campaign which they called "Walk Like a Refugee", to raise funds to help a Syrian family who had moved to Toronto at the invitation of Prime Minister Dressup, and were running out of welfare benefits.

By walking from Toronto to Niagara Falls, the (((Bromstein-Jagers))) raised $12,000 to help the extended family of Amir and Nour Fattal, who now want to sponsor Ms Fattal's sister and her husband, who of course will need help to resettle. So it was back on the trail, earlier this month, for the (((Bromstein-Jagers))), who endured sore feet, tired legs and speeding traffic as they walked, once again, the 85 miles from the Little Apple to the Cataract City.

The family's aim was to recreate, "albeit on a small scale", the experience of millions of people worldwide who flee their homes due to war and disease and must often walk for days or weeks in search of safety. And can you imagine, they had to rely only on the kindness of strangers (who put them up in decent hotels), a stroller to give young Kismet the occasional rest, and — perhaps most importantly — a video recorder to document their journey. One video, which we are sadly unable to embed here, shows the three singing the Sesame Street tune "Ladybug Picnic".

Ms (((Bromstein))) told the newspaper's credulous reporter that she and her family would usually set out for the day at around 9 or 10 AM, wrapping up for the night at around 5 or 6 PM. Along the way, they found accommodation from both friends and strangers. In one of the way-points, Grimsby, they were given a free night's stay at the Casablanca Winery Inn. Farther along, in Saint Catharines, a bed and breakfast owner who was fully booked instead put them up at the Holiday Inn. In Niagara-on-the-Lake, they stayed at the White Oaks Resort and Spa, which is as upscale as the name suggests.

A good part of their efforts went into keeping Kismet occupied, which meant stopping every once in a while to collect shells or pet a dog they encountered along the way. But the trek wasn't all smooth sailing ["walking", shurely! Ed.] From Grimsby to Saint Catharines, they had to walk along the busy North Service Road, where they kept Kismet safely strapped in a stroller.

Deciding that they would get off the road for the final leg to Niagara Falls, the (((Bromstein-Jagers))) set out for the Bruce Trail, where the stroller got a flat and they promptly got lost. "I thought 'We're lost and we're going to die!" said Ms (((Bromstein))), but "then two kids came along on bikes."

Note from Ed.: I am sad to report that Walt was unable to finish this piece. Apparently he suffered the same effects as Agent 3, and was last seen running towards the outhouse. He left some scribbled notes about the Jewish conspiracy to overrun North America and Europe with Muslim "refugees", and something about George Soros, but I will leave it to him to finish up another day.

Shvartsers! Canada, Germany, Italy agree to take "refugees" Jews don't want... but not enough to satisfy Israelis who want them ALL gone

For months now Israeli Prime Minister (((Benjamin Netanyahu))) has been under pressure to get rid of the nearly 40,000 African "refugees" and asylum-seekers infesting his country, particularly the old capital, Tel Aviv, where this picture was taken.

Turns out the Jews don't like having goyim -- especially black goyim -- in their midst any better than we like having Jewish ghettos in our cities. In spite of a history of having been driven, often at gunpoint, from one part of the world to another, Jews can be just as xenophobic as the rest of us. And they don't like foreigners very much either.

As Walt reported in "Up to 34,000 African 'refugees' to be deported" (WWW 6/2/18), Mr Netanyahu's government came up with a plan to send most of them back to Africa. Not to their own shithole countries, like Eritrea and Somalia, which don't want them and won't take them, but to other, more peaceful (?) shithole countries, like Rwanda and Uganda, where they can be relatively safe and start new lives.

Sadly for all concerned, the threat of a forced expulsion didn't sit well with Bono and other non-Jewish do-gooders in other parts of the world. Even critics in the homeland of "the chosen people" called the plan unethical and "a stain on Israel's image as a refuge for Jewish migrants." (Not that the black asylum-seekers were Jews, but the phrase has a nice ring to it.)

Groups of Israeli doctors, academics, poets, Holocaust survivors and rabbis all appealed to halt the government's deportation plan, and the usually stubborn Prime Minister Netanyahu caved. This weekend he announced a new plan, worked out with the UNHCR (the refugee agency of the Disunted Nations), whereby some 16,000 "migrants" would be deported to Western countries -- Germany ("More Wilkommenskultur please!"), Italy (which just voted overwhelmingly for anti-immigration parties) and... wait for it... Canada ("Diversity is our strength!" - Trudeau II).

Sadly (again!) for Mr Netanyahu, 16,000 isn't even half the horde of "refugees" camping in shanty-towns and "jungles" in Tel Aviv and other urban areas. The rest, according to the new plan, would be granted official status and allowed to remain in Israel, where they would be "integrated" into Jewish society.

Yeah. Right. LOL. Except Israelis weren't laughing, but whining [Really? Ed.] and yelling NIMBY! So once again Bibi caved. In a dramatic about-face just hours after the announcement, he said in a Facebook post that he was suspending the implementation of the agreement with the UNHCR while he consults with his officials.

Indeed.... Will Canada, Italy and Germany get 1000s more unassimilable "refugees" -- most of them Muslims, by the way -- to make their populations even more diverse? Can the Israelis come up with another way to get rid of the undesirables while at the same time preserving their image as the original persecuted people? Will the (((controlled media))) denounce the Jews for being Islamophobic racists? Walt's predictions: Yes, Maybe and NO! Lifetime pct .985.

Jews must choose! (Arabs and Africans too!) : Marine Le Pen

As reported here a few days ago, Marine Le Pen is leading the polls in the race for the presidency of France. There is a better-than-even chance that she will make it through the two rounds of voting in the spring, to become the leader of the nation, by popular choice. (Lifetime pct .989.)

Here's one of the reasons why.

Although Angela Merkel's Germany is catching up quickly, France is home to western Europe's largest Jewish and Muslim minorities, with up to half a million Jews and an estimated five to six million followers of the Prophet finding refuge within her borders. Those who enter the country as "refugees" and asylum-seekers are, it seems, loath to give up the citizenship of their miserable homelands, just in case they ever want to return. For a holiday, let's say. (Tens of thousands of "refugees" living in Switzerland are reportedly using their welfare payments to fund extended holidays back home in the countries from which they supposedly "fled in fear of their lives".)

In a recent interview with France 2 TV, Mme Le Pen said that, if her Front National takes power in the spring, French Jews holding dual Israeli citizenship will have to give up one of their nationalities if Marine Le Pen. And dual nationals of Arab and African countries would have to renounce their French citizenship. French nationals, she explained, would be barred from holding the citizenship of countries outside the European Union, except for Russia, which she described as part of "the Europe of nations".

Israel, she said, "is not a European country and doesn't consider itself as such." But, she added, "I'm asking the Israelis to choose their nationality. It doesn't mean that if they don't choose French nationality, they have to leave."

As for Merkans, Mme Le Pen said that, despite her support for Donald Trump and her enthusiastic backing of his Executive Order restricting travel to the United States from seven Muslim-majority states, holders of French and American passports would have to give up their French citizenship if they wished to hold onto their US passports. She did not say whether or not the same rule would apply to British dual nationals.

How refreshing to hear a European leader say that hers is a European country, and intends to remain that way. Those who want to keep one foot in Europe and the other in the desert wastes of Asia or Africa must realize that they can't have it both ways. Choose, they must!

CENSORED VIDEO: Evalion responds to biased Global TV "interview"

Evalion (real name Veronica Bouchard) is a young Canadian woman -- she lives in the eastern reaches of the so-called Greater Toronto Are -- who has become famous for producing dozens of YouTube videos attacking Jews, Zionism, multiculturalism, race-mixing, anti-white racism and... you get the picture. She's saying stuff that the chattering classes, "progressives", SJWs and other snowflakes find "hateful". And what gets them is that she's a pretty white girl with a sweet little-girl voice. How can she say such awful racist things? And, oh yeah, she drops the F-bomb too.

Evalion's channel quickly became notable, gaining 16,000 subscribers within a day, and thus the object of ferocious attacks by the PC police. She started to get mass-flagged by the libtards and "anti-haters", and pretty soon had her channel terminated and her videos deleted. But fans who wisely downloaded her "offensive rants" keep reposting them, so if you want to see for yourself what all the fuss is about, search YouTube for "Evalion" or "anti-semitic" or "Jews" and eventually one of her videos will appear in the suggestions column.

Last year, around Hallowe'en, Canada's No. 3 TV network, Global TV, decided to run an interview with Evalion, who had been stopped by Canada's "border services" (= border police) on suspicion of being a "hate criminal". (Yes, voicing "hateful thoughts" is a crime in Canada. There's no First Amendment there.) According to Ms Bouchard, Global interviewed her for 40 minutes, but less than 2 minutes of what she said in the "interview" is heard in the lengthy TV report. So she made a video to fill in the blanks, so to speak. Here it is. Running time: 20:45.

Just so you know... Global TV began life as part of the Canwest Global media group led by (((Israel Asper))). The company was already one of the largest owners of Canadian local TV stations, when Canwest and (((Goldman Sachs))) in 2007 announced they would jointly acquire Canadian producer and broadcaster Alliance Atlantis Communications and its large stable of wide-distribution specialty channels. Following some "financial difficulties", Shaw Communications purchased the entirety of Canwest's broadcasting operations, including the portion owned by (((Goldman))). This deal was later modified to include a settlement agreement between Shaw, creditors, and the Official Ad Hoc Committee of Shareholders, led by the (((Aspers))), (((Blott Asset Management L.L.C.))) and two other hedge funds. Canwest was renamed to 2737469 Canada Inc. and ceased doing business that same date. Meanwhile, Shaw Communications reorganized Canwest into Shaw Media. Rumours that Jews control the Canadian (and American) media are, of course, groundless.

Footnote: Isn't Global TV's Farah Nasser (née Farah Khan) an eyeful? Mrs Nasser is, errr, "Muslim-Canadian", and you have to wonder if her heart is really in the shock she expressesd at Evalion's alleged anti-Semitism.

How Obama fooled the Jews and took their money

This week the Security Council of the (Dis)united Nations voted to condemn the illegal seizure by the Jewish state (Israel) of Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and the occupied Left Bank. Much to the chagrin of the powerful Zionist lobby in Washington, the USA abstained, even though its veto would have defeated the resolution.

The Jews are predictably furious, accusing President 0 and his minion, John Kerry, of betraying them. This after all the Jews did for Obama and the Democrats. Israel's enemies dream of destroying the Jewish state as the first phase of establishing a global caliphate. Now Obama has now encouraged that dream, and the Jews are rending their garments.

The Jewish Federations across North America (JFNA) issued a statement saying it was "deeply disappointed" that the US did not veto the UN motion. The refusal to do so, they said, "undermined a core principle of American foreign policy that has been embraced by Democratic and Republican Administrations for decades." Moreover, they said it was "tragic that the [Obama] Administration chose to mar its legacy of support for the Jewish State and set back the prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace."

The Orthodox Union joined the JFNA at the wailing wall, announcing that it was "gravely disappointed" with the Prez. Not vetoing the motion, they said, "undermined his legacy" and was an "unprecedented and deeply disturbing break from the past."

The leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations said that there was "no justification or explanation that validates the United States failure to veto the one-sided, offensive resolution adopted by the Security Council," and that the "United States vote will be seen as a betrayal of the fundamentals of the special relationship" between Israel and America.

One of the loudest cries of anger and anguish came from famed criminal lawyer (((Alan Dershowitz))), a lifelong supporter of the Democratic Party, Barry Obama and, yes, Shrillery Clinton. Mr Dershowitz defended Mr Obama in the court of public opinion when people said the Prez was, if not a practising Muslim, at least an anti-Semite. Now it seems the bromance is over.

In "How Barack Obama fooled the Jews and betrayed them once he had their money" (National Post, 30/12/16), (((Lawrence Solomon))) writes that Mr Dershowitz "finally sees the evidence that had been in plain sight all along, and now understands the extent of Obama's deception. It was 'so nasty. He pulled a bait-and-switch', he says, explaining how Obama in private pretended that it was 'the settlements deep in the West Bank' that were negotiable, not the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem, so core to Judaism and to Israel’s heritage."

Mr Solomon presents another, even more trenchant quote. "'(President Obama) called me into the Oval Office before the election and he said to me, 'Alan, I want your support. And I have to tell you, I will always have Israel's back.' I didn't realize that what he meant was that he'd have (Israel's) back to stab them in the back."

The article goes on to explain that winning Jewish support wasn't especially important to Obama and other Democrats in terms of votes. Jews represent just 2% of the American electorate, so they don't count for much at the ballot box. But Jews are huuugely important — even decisive — when it comes to political donations. The Jews are overwhelmingly liberal, and their 2% of the voting population accounts for about two-thirds of all donations received by the Democratic Party. Putting it another way, Jews donate twice as much to Democrats as the 98% of voters who are non-Jews.

The importance of Jewish money to Democratic fortunes (Mr Solomon writes) explains why Mr Obama waited to make his moves against Israel until after his two presidential campaigns and the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, who he hoped would preserve his legacy. If Jews had understood his real intentions toward Israel, Mr Obama knew, they would have stopped writing cheques.

Walt predicts that it will take the Democrats at least a generation to recover from B. Hussein Obama's betrayal of their rich and powerful Zionist benefactors. Jews don’t like being made fools of, especially in public, especially by someone of Mr Obama's complexion!

Wikileaks reveals what Hellery REALLY thinks of blacks and Muslims

Just in time for tonight's debate, here it is... the one we've been waiting for. Back in the summer, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has said that more of Mrs Bill Clinton's e-mails -- the ones she didn't erase -- would be released in the weeks leading up to the November 8th election for POTUS.

Walt has been waiting with bated breath for the "October surprise", and this e-mail from Shrillery to her campaign chairman, John Podesta, could be the game-changer. (Mr Podesta, by the way, once served as Chief of Staff to former President and First Gentleman wannabe Bill Clinton.) See for yourself what Mrs Clinton really thinks about blacks, Muslims and "Roma" (the PC term for gypsies).

In case you had trouble reading the message from this screen shot, it says, "The main reason behind successful immigration should be painfully obvious to even the most dimwitted of observers: Some groups of people are almost always highly successful given only half a chance (Jews*, Hindus/Sikhs and Chinese people, for example), while others (Muslims, blacks** and Roma***, for instance) fare badly almost irrespective of circumstances."

Hellery goes on to label blacks and Muslims "professional never-do-wells". Now, you may agree with that characterization, but that doesn't mean that you should stampede to the polls and vote for Mrs Clinton. What she says to Mr Podesta is completely at odds with what she says from the public platform as she sucks up to every minority in sight. La Clinton is not just a consummate liar, but an out-and-out hypocrite. Oh... guess that's not really the October surprise after all.

Amazing! Vatican cardinal calls for conversion of Muslims (but not Jews)

Walt hasn't written much lately about the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church because there is such turmoil over homosexuality, paedophilia, the admission of divorced-and-remarried Catholics to the sacraments etc. that it's hard to focus on just one issue. Some Traditional Catholics are close to committing the sin of despair as they watch Pope Francis the Humble lead the faithful away from the truths that the Church held for 1900+ years, until the disaster of Vatican II.

One of the things that we were taught, back in the day, was that we should go forth and preach the Gospel of Christ to all nations. We were called to proselytize, to seek the conversion of non-believers, including the Jews who refused to accept that the Messiah had come. Indeed we used to pray for the conversion of the Jews and the heathens as part of our Good Friday liturgy. But no more.

Now the "Holy Father" delights in sitting down, even kneeling down with imams and muftis and rabbis and the leaders of other "faith communities", which, he tells us, are co-equal with what we believed to be the One True Faith. After all, we're told, we all pray to the same God, no matter whether we call him Jehovah or Yahweh or Allah. And all faiths can lead us to Heaven, if there is a heaven, because we don't really believe in Hell anyway. That kind of thinking is called Syncretism or Indifferentism. And it is heresy! Every day, Pope Francis leads us deeper and deeper into heresy!

Thus is came as something of a shock to read news of a recent pronouncement by Kurt Cardinal Koch, who, as President of the Pontifical Council for Christian University, is the Batican's point man on the "ecumenical relations" file. At an interfaith meeting in Cambridge, Cardinal Koch said... wait for it... that Christians are called to seek the conversion of all Muslims!

“We have a mission to convert all non-Christian religions' people," said the prelate, adding that this imperative extends even to jihadis responsible for persecuting Christians in the Middle East. My immediate reaction: Does the Pope know about this? Cardinal Koch is supposed to be one of Francis' closest advisors, yet he seems to be contradicting the false ecumenism that the Pope has been preaching almost since Day One of his pontificate.

In the very next breath, though, Cardinal Koch made an exception for the Jews. The duty to evangelize applies to all Christians in their relations with all other faiths, he said, except Judaism. He acknowledged that Christians share with both Jews and Muslims a reverence for the traditions of faith handed down from Abraham. But he said that "we cannot deny that the view of Abraham in Jewish and Christian tradition and the Islamic tradition is not the same." While Christians acknowledge the covenant God made with the Jewish people, the same cannot be said of the Islamic faith. Thus, he explained, "we have only with Jewish people this unique relationship that we do not have with Islam." So leave the Jews alone, then.

As a Traditional Catholic, Walt is all for reaching out to non-believers, including Muslims and Jews. But I'll go a step further and suggest that we start with the modernist, post-conciliar bishops (including the Bishop of Rome) and priests who seem to have lost their grip on the tenets of the Faith of our fathers. Grab your Baltimore Catechisms, boys, and get out there and make those converts!

Footnote: You'll be interested (if not pleased) to know that all of the 499 Syrians who have been granted refugee status in the USA so far this month are Muslims, according to the CNSNews service. Not a single Christian has been granted that status. Since the beginning of the current fiscal year, 2235 Syrian refugees have been welcomed (sort of) into America. Just 10 of them -- less than one-half of 1% -- have been Christians. There's no need, then, to leave the USA to find Muslims to convert!

Front National tops French polls; liberals, Muslims, Jews panic

Another country heard from! Another strong vote for stopping the Islamization of Europe! Results from regional elections held throughout France on the weekend show Marine Le Pen's Front National within reach of taking over four regional councils in France, after winning 28% of the vote -- a result that has shocked liberal elites across Europe.

As Walt predicted following the Islamic terrorist bombings in Paris in November, the anti-immigration FN racked up its best result since its founding in 1972, finishing in first place in six of France's 13 regions.

Mme Le Pen stood for her party in France’s northern region, and won the first round with 40% of the vote. In the southeast of France, her niece, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, headed the field, also getting more than 40% of the vote in the her region. Mme Le Pen described the result as "magnificent", adding that it showed that the FN was now “without contest the first party of France”.

Why is the Front National so popular? [Do you really have to ask? Ed.] We have a short video clip, from the Financial Times.



The result has caused much soiling of shorts by the usual gang of "progressive thinkers", diversity advocates, and other bleeding-heart liberals. Typical of the pissing and moaning about Islamophobia and the "threat to democracy" is a statement by German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, leader of the Social Democrats, calling it a "wake-up call for all democrats in Europe.... It is of course a shock when rightwing extremists achieve such a result and become the strongest political force in the first round of voting in France -- one of the founding members of the EU in the heart of Europe."

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi commented on FB that European institutions needed to change or they risked becoming the "best allies of Marine Le Pen and those who try to imitate her.... Without a strategic design, particularly on the economy and on growth, populist movements will sooner or later prevail also in general elections."

The Democratic "leader" of the USA -- Barack Hussein Obama -- made no mention of the French elections in his little fireside chat Sunday night. He was too busy telling Americans not to be afraid of Muslims, be tolerant, yada yada yada. As if nothing like what happened in Paris could ever happen in the Land of the Free (etc). Oh... wait....

Registering Muslims in America vs registering Jews in Germany

Inevitably, the "progressive thinkers" and bleeding-heart liberals in the USA and elsewhere have pounced on Donald Trump's expressed agreement with the idea of registering Muslims so that they can be "surveilled" [There is no such verb as "surveille", but our "security forces" love it. Ed.] to the registration of Jews in Nazi Germany.

Walt wishes to point out that it was not the Donald's idea. The NBC interviewer sucked him in with a hypothetical, with which he expressed his agreement. Mr. Trump may be many things, but he is no Hitler.

Furthermore, there is one vital distinction to be drawn between the Jews of Nazi Germany and the Muslims of today's America. The Jews never declared themselves to be the enemies of the Gentiles, bent on destroying their religion and culture. The Muslims -- not all of them, but the radical Islamists among them -- have vowed to exterminate the "crusaders" not just in the Middle East but here at home.

Even Hellery Clinton cannot deny (try as she will) that there are "radicalized" Muslims among us. Walt stands by the proposition that it's not unreasonable to keep an eye on them.

Footnote: A report on Interfax today quotes a statement from Russia's Anti-Terrorism Committee that ten militants who had sworn allegiance to the Islamic State were killed in a special operation in a southern Russian republic. "During the active phase of a special operation near Nalchik," the committee said, "ten militants were neutralized. They were all members of armed groups that had sworn allegiance to the international terrorist organisation ISIL."

Walt adds... How do you suppose the Russians identified the late terrorists? Perhaps they had a list?

West reacts to Islamist killing of Westerners... ONLY Westerners

It took the "public" beheading of a couple of Americans and a Brit to get the Excited States of America and its camp followers (hello, Australia, Britain and Canada... and France!) into the latest phase of the Oil Wars. As long as ISIS -- an extremist band of Sunni Muslims -- was beating up Shia Muslims, Kurds, and other denizens of the sandpit, who cared? Nobody! That's who!

Last week, Islamic terrorists -- which is what they were, no matter what the Prez says -- killed, ummm, 17 French people (including 4 Jews), and the world went nuts. As discussed here at length [great length! Ed.], suddenly we we're all Charlie. Some of us even proclaimed "We are all Jews"!

Sure, the killings in France were tragic, outrageous attacks on free speech and Western values, worthy of condemnation and outpourings of grief and determination to resist. But... did anyone notice that in the same week, Boko Haram killes literally 1000s of people -- all African, mostly Muslim -- in Nigeria? "See Meanwhile, in Nigeria, militant Islamists wipe out town of 10,000">

Today comes news that there were three -- count `em, three -- suicide bombings in the same part of Nigeria. 23 people were killed and dozens injured when three female suicide bombers -- one only 10 years old -- blew themselves up [or were blown up by remote control] in crowded markets. 23 dead, added to the 2000 or so killed in Baga. Are people in Paris, Washington, London or Toronto taking to streets with signs reading "We are all African Muslims!" Errr, no.

Most Rev. Ignatius Kaigama, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Jos, accuses the West of ignoring the atrocities perpetrated by Boko Haram. Speaking on BBC-TV's Newsday, he said the world had to show more determination to halt the militant Islamists' advance in Nigeria. Why, he asked, doesn't the international community show the same spirit and resolve that it did after the attacks in France? Walt will supply the answer. It's because the victims aren't Westerners, so who cares...

Archbishop Kaigama said facing down Boko Haram requires international support and unity of the type that had been shown after last week's militant attacks in France. "We need that spirit to be spread around," he said. "Not just when [an attack] happens in Europe, but when it happens in Nigeria, in Niger, in Cameroon. We [must] mobilize our international resources and face or confront the people who bring such sadness to many families."

Good luck with that. And I'm not talking about Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan [real name. Ed.] who is among those who doesn't seem to care. He has yet to comment on this week's violence, and BBC correspondent Will Ross says Nigeria's politicians appear more focused on next month's elections. Not like Western politicians, eh!

Canuck media personality says Jews control world's media, economies

Gilles Proulx is a well-known media personality -- well-known in Québec at least -- with a long history of political incorrectness, going back as far as the Oka crisis of 1990, when his anti-aboriginal comments were blamed for an ugly incident at the entrance to the Kahnawake reserve just outside Montréal.

M Proulx has been a fixture on Québec radio and TV for four decades, ranting about all and sundry, without regard to race, colour or creed. He does, however, show a particular dislike for anglophones (Canajan-speak for English-speakers) and immigrants who fail to integrate themselves into Québec society.

He has also been known to make decidely un-PC remarks about Jews. Last week, in his column in Le Journal de Montréal headlined "Le Hamas: Hydre de Lerne", M Proulx wrote: "No need to be an expert to say that Israel could make Washington, Paris or Ottawa bend, knowing in advance that its diaspora, well established, will make any government submit."*

Just in case we didn't understand what he meant, M Proulx elaborated on his thinking on the Montréal phone-in show "Radio X". Suggesting that Jews historically provoke hate and persecution, he said "The diaspora is scattered around the world, where they take economic control, provoke the hatred of local nations, whether it is in Spain, for example, with the Inquisition, or again later with Adolf Hitler."

Later he added, "The diasporas are so powerful in Paris, New York, Toronto or in Ottawa or Montreal, that they can manipulate the government through their opinions, their threats, their pressure, making it a marionette."

Predictably, the usual suspects -- the Israel Activist Alliance, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, yada yada yada -- have denounced M Proulx for being "anti-Semitic" and have called for his head, along with those of the publishers and producers who allowed him to say such things in public. All of which would seem to prove the point.

One commentator, though, was not particularly shocked. Ira Robinson, interim director of the Institute for Canadian Jewish Studies at Concordia University, said that Mr. Proulx’s comments are nothing new, but "a continuation of a trend that has quite a history, and not merely with Proulx but with other radio commentators in Québec over the last several years."

Mr. Robinson added, "There’s a sort of discourse in francophone Québec where this sort of thing comes forth. Québec is the kind of place where these controversial issues are discussed much more openly than in English Canada." In other words (says Walt), Québec is the sort of place where you are still free to speak the truth as you see it, without fear of the PC police.

* Note from Ed.: I tried really hard to crack the firewall at Le Journal de Montréal, for you, but if you want to read the entirety of M Proulx's column, it looks as if you'll have to pay. Perhaps Le Journal de Montréal is owned by Jews. I wouldn't know.

69 years later

Someone sent us a chain e-mail being circulated on the Internet by "friends of Israel" and others being taken in by the pro-Israel spewings of Jewish propaganda machine ["mainstream press", surely! Ed.] It begs us to make sure the world never forgets the Holocaust, and to pass it on so that it reaches 40 million people.

NO. Walt will not be passing it on, and will not even say "sorry".

As regards the massacre unfolding in Gaza, I have no sympathy for Hamas, and even less for the Israelis. Israel was created by the United Nations because the Western nations felt guilty about the Holocaust, so decided to give the Jews their "promised land". But of course they didn't give away their land. No. Instead they took some land from poor ignorant Arabs -- the Palestinians -- and said, hey, you have to share this with the Jews because they used to live here before they got smart and moved to Europe, besides which "we" owe them...for the Holocaust, you know.

Have you ever tried sharing anything with a Jew? The Jews occupied the best parts of the territory they were given, then, not satisfied, occupied the West Bank, the Golan Heights, Gaza and the Sinai peninsula during the Six Day War of 1967. About 90 seconds after moving into the Sinai, they discovered there was nothing there but sand, so gave it back to the Egyptians.

Richard Gwyn tells us, in Nationalism Without Walls (McClelland and Stewart, 1995) that there are two kinds of "nations". One is a "state nation", in which the rights and responsibilities of citizenship are extended, more or less, equally, to all citizens regardless of colour, ethnicity, creed (etc etc). Almost all of the countries of North America and Europe [and Australasia! Ed.] fit that definition.

The other kind is the "ethnic nation", which is composed of people of a certain ethnicity/colour/creed, and in which people not of that ethnicity/colour/creed are second-class citizens in fact if not in law. The ethnic nation may exist only in the minds of its people (like Québec), or it may have sovereignty over a defined piece of territory... like Israel. No matter what the UN may have intended, Israel is the land of the Jews, not the Muslim Palestinians, just as Pakistan is the land of Muslims, not Hindus or Christians.

When Iran calls Israel "the Zionist entity", it is stating a fact which gets ignored in all the breast-beating and hand-wringing over Western liberal guilt about the Holocaust, and Israel's "right" to defend itself and its "promised land". The Jews tell us that God gave Israel to them -- just them -- but apparently He didn't make a very good job of it, so now it's their right to "defend" it. And if a few hundred Muslim civilians get taken out, well, that's because they won't get out of the way.

Walt wishes the Jewish propaganda machine -- read "lamestream media" -- would spare us these endless appeals to guilt and the culture of the victim. The body count, last time I looked, was about 20 to 1. That's 20 dead Palestinian Muslims (mostly civilians) for every dead Israeli Jew (mostly soldiers). If there's a Holocaust to be remembered, it's the one going on in Gaza right now.

Traditional Good Friday prayers

Good Catholic friends... If you attend the Good Friday Liturgy at a mainstream Roman Catholic church today, you will hear only a "reformed", politically correct version of the Solemn Prayers which were said in all our churches, on every Good Friday for centuries, until the disorientation caused by Vatican II. Shock announcement from Marois: Separate Québec to be subdivided!

In "Elections coming up in Québec and Afghanistan -- who cares?", Walt explained how Pauline Marois was poised to lose the provincial election due on April 7th. Her Parti Québecois looked like being a shoo-in, thanks to widespread support among francophone (French-speaking) voters for the proposed Québec Charter of Rights and Values, which would get hijabs and other funny clothes off the streets and ensure that "au Québec on ne parle que français".

Keen observers like Walt could see that the immigrants, Muslims, Jews and têtes-carrées (English speakers) were lining up squarely against the PQ. They alone would only have secured opposition victories in a few ridings in the West Island of Montréal. But then, with the emergence of P-K Péladeau as the PQ's star candidate, came more talk of a referendum on separation from The Rest Of Canada. That kind of talk makes even les vrais Québecois nervous, because they don't want to lose their Canadian passports, dollars and "entitlements".

So, in a stunning volte-face, Mme Marois will today announce that if Québec separates from TROC, certain parts of la Belle Province will be allowed to separate from Québec to form their own ethnic homelands. Her idea is said to have been inspired by the success of the "Bantu Homelands" in the pre-1994 Republic of South Africa.

In Montréal, Côte-des-Neiges-NDG will become a separate ghetto ["republic", surely! Ed.] named "New Jerusalem", which will be closed from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. Mackenzie King Park will be renamed David Ben-Gurion Park. Government policy will follow the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Just to the east, Westmount will have its official status changed to that of a Dominion of Her Britannic Majesty. No decision has been made as to a new name, but there is strong support for "Wolfeville". Westmount Park will not be renamed "Plains of Abraham" because of the risk of offence to residents of New Jerusalem.

Other regions which elect to separate from a separate Québec will be officially multicultural. All ethnicities and cultures will be celebrated, except for the French/English/Scottish/Irish. Secular humanism will be the official religion, but Muslims will be allowed to pray in the streets and build mosques on the sites of churches, as is already done in the Middle East. Sharia law will apply to all citizens, as is already the case in Indonesia.

This secession of the non-French parts of Québec -- effective from June 31st -- will leave the rest of the new republic to white, French-speaking "Christians". Applications to immigrate are already pouring in from the Greater Toronto Area.

Survey says... lots of Canucks biased against Jews, Muslims, Sikhs etc

Whoda thunk it? Canadians, always so smug about being tolerant and inclusive, celebrating diversity and all that BS, secretly dislike certain minority groups. That would include those they can recognize by their religious headgear and facial shrubbery.

After the Parti Québecois got the "conversation" started by proposing a Charter of Québec Values, it was inevitable that the public opinion pollsters would ask people -- in both la Belle Province and TROC -- how they felt about the accommodation of religious and ethnic minority cultures. That's what the fuss is all about -- whether it's time for the multiculti tail to stop wagging the Québec and/or Canadian dogs.

Today's National Post reports the results of a Forum poll on multiculturalism. The results may be dismaying to the "progressive thinkers" who dominate Canadian media and politics, but should hardly come as a surprise to anyone who listens to the conversations at Tim Horton's.

Turns out that about half of Bloc Québecois and Parti Québecois supporters think that Muslims and Jews have too much influence in their province, while nearly a third of British Columbians think the same of "Sikhs and Asians". [Aren't Sikhs Asians? Or do they mean Chinese? I'm confused! Ed.]

That sentiment is particularly pronounced in Québec -- exactly what Pauline Marois is counting on -- but the rest of Canada (TROC) isn't far behind, with about a third of Canadians saying Muslims have too much influence in their home provinces. Hey, Steve Harper! Hey, Jason Kenney! Are you listening? See? It's not just a few rednecks in Mississauga or Surrey.

Forum Research president Lorne Bozinoff told the Post, “If the Charter of Quebec Values is an example of the Parti Québecois practising dog whistle politics...it appears there are plenty of ears tuned to that particular frequency for the message to fall on.”

Speaking of Jews, while less than a fifth of Canadians say that Jews have too much influence, about 32% of Quebeckers think they are too powerful. Canada's largest and strongest community of orthodox Jews is to be found in Montréal. Not long ago a Jewish school in that city was successful in getting the neighbouring YMCA to paint over its windows so the innocent Jewish kids would be spared the sight of scantily clad goyim playing basketball.

In Ontario, it's the francophones -- French speakers, to non-Canadian readers -- who are on the merdeux end of the stick, with 26% of respondents saying the Frenchies [Good job on avoiding the other "Fr" word. Ed] are too powerful. You certainly don't hear the language of Molière much in places like Kingston and Kitchener.

The poll was conducted by Interactive Voice Response on September 16th and 17th among a randomly selected sample of 1527 Canadians 18 years of age and older. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3%, 19 times out of 20. Walt guesses you could call the poll a cross section of Canadian public opinion. No hyphen.
