VIDEO: Michael Matt calls out Christian Zionists over Iran war

Call me a Mugwump if you want [OK, you're a mugwump! Ed.] but I'm not totally on board with the war against the Mad Mullahs of Iran.

There can be no doubt that the Middle East and the world in general would be a better and safer place if the Islamic theocracy were overthrown. But, as I suggeested yesterday, I don't see any clear plan for replacing the arch-Muslim dictators with a more tractable regime. And I certainly don't want to see another debacle like Iran or Afghanistan.

One thing's for sure. I reject the argument of the Christian Zionists that this war, fomented by the Israelis (read: Jews) is all part of God's plan to establish His kingdom on Earth. For those who haven't heard, Christian Zionism is a theological and political movement wherein Christians support the state of Israel and the return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land, believing this fulfills biblical prophecy regarding the End Times.

Rooted in 17th-century Puritan thought, this ideology sees modern Israel as a divine miracle. No traditional Catholic can believe that, as Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper says in an e-mail received here today, as follows:

Re: War in Iran – regardless of the nonsense Senator Ted Cruzmissile learned in Sunday school, Bibi’s manmade messiah has no legitimate Biblical foundation. Not to make this all about Sen. Lindsey Graham, but the warmongering Zionists are trying to blasphemously show Jesus Christ how it’s done.

What they’re essentially doing now is laying claim to the temporal power the Sanhedrin wanted the first time around. Charlie Kirk was right! Their kingdom is most definitely of this world! So, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…and any other country that gets in the way of Israel’s nuclear-armed messianism.

Antisemitic? Not at all! Orthodox Jews reject Israel’s militarized messiah out of hand. They consider it heresy, which is why I heavily lean on their testimony in this week’s Underground [the video below. Ed.].

Traditional Jews and Traditional Roman Catholics know their scripture, whereas Zionists rewrite it to accommodate their political aspirations. From Iraq to Gaza and from Syria to Iran, this is about a human hack for a divine curse... They base their claims on a religious right to the land of Israel, as promised to Abraham, heretically insisting that once Jews repossess Israel, this will bring about the millennial rule of Christ on Earth for 1000 years.

What are they missing? Almighty God keeps His promises! So, just as Adam forfeited Paradise on Earth by his sin – and we forfeit God’s promised heavenly Jerusalem through mortal sin – so too the Jews forfeited the Promised Land by breaking the covenant with God.

In Deuteronomy 28:63-64 (DRV), Moses warns them "the Lord shall rejoice destroying you and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land... The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof."

That is the judgment of God Himself, and it was reaffirmed in no uncertain terms by His only begotten Son. Any attempt to circumvent it on the part of Zionists – Christian or otherwise – is blasphemy.

In this latest edition of The Remnant Underground, Mr Matt takes a deep dive into the biblical foundations of this fundamentally Christian reality: No one can be at the same time a sincere Catholic and a Christian Zionist. Listen and learn.

Tampon Tim sez anti-Israel protesters are right, doesn't mention Hamas

Michigan, the rust-bucket state made famous by Michael Moore, has the USA's largest Arab population. Travel anywhere in the Middle East, and within 24 hours you're bound to meet a rag-head who says he has relatives in Detroit.

Michigan is one of the key swing states which is very much in play in the presidential election which will take place in less than two months. Latest polls show President Trump with a slim lead over the Cackler.

So it was only logical that Veep wannabe "Tampon Tim" Walz should choose an interview with WCMU, the Michigan NPR outlet (of course) to deliver a pat on the keffiyeh to anti-Israel protesters who, he said, "are speaking out for all the right reasons," and that more pressure should be applied to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a Palestinian state.

Mr A-Walz described the October 7th attack as a "horrific act of violence against the people of Israel" and said that the Jewish state has the right to defend itself and that the United States "will always stand by that." However, he had nothing to say about the attackers. He refused to utter the word "Hamas".

The Biden-Harris administration's tepid support of Israel's response to the horrific act of Islamic terrorism could be a critical issue on Election Day in swing states like Michigan and Pennsylvania, where the margin between pro- and anti-Israel votes could be a deciding factor.

Pro-Trump Jews react
Matt Brooks, CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition, told the Jewish News Syndicate that "Joe Biden thinks the antisemitic, anti-Israel radical protestors 'have a point', Kamala Harris appeases them, saying they 'are showing exactly what the human emotion should be' and now Tim Walz believes they 'are speaking out for all the right reasons.' What a total disgrace.

"Let’s be clear," Mr Brooks added. "The mobs on our streets and college campuses are wildly antisemitic and anti-Israel and should be totally condemned in the strongest possible terms. It is shameful and appalling that the top leaders of today’s Democratic Party cannot firmly and directly reject their vile antisemitic base."

He concluded, "Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are choosing to put partisan politics ahead of the safety and security of the Jewish community and America's key ally as it fights a war for its very survival. It is disgusting, and the American people will reject Harris and Walz’s extremism in November. Their priorities are clearly not our priorities. Harris and Walz stand with the radical squad, not with us."

Shvartsers! Canada, Germany, Italy agree to take "refugees" Jews don't want... but not enough to satisfy Israelis who want them ALL gone

For months now Israeli Prime Minister (((Benjamin Netanyahu))) has been under pressure to get rid of the nearly 40,000 African "refugees" and asylum-seekers infesting his country, particularly the old capital, Tel Aviv, where this picture was taken.

Turns out the Jews don't like having goyim -- especially black goyim -- in their midst any better than we like having Jewish ghettos in our cities. In spite of a history of having been driven, often at gunpoint, from one part of the world to another, Jews can be just as xenophobic as the rest of us. And they don't like foreigners very much either.

As Walt reported in "Up to 34,000 African 'refugees' to be deported" (WWW 6/2/18), Mr Netanyahu's government came up with a plan to send most of them back to Africa. Not to their own shithole countries, like Eritrea and Somalia, which don't want them and won't take them, but to other, more peaceful (?) shithole countries, like Rwanda and Uganda, where they can be relatively safe and start new lives.

Sadly for all concerned, the threat of a forced expulsion didn't sit well with Bono and other non-Jewish do-gooders in other parts of the world. Even critics in the homeland of "the chosen people" called the plan unethical and "a stain on Israel's image as a refuge for Jewish migrants." (Not that the black asylum-seekers were Jews, but the phrase has a nice ring to it.)

Groups of Israeli doctors, academics, poets, Holocaust survivors and rabbis all appealed to halt the government's deportation plan, and the usually stubborn Prime Minister Netanyahu caved. This weekend he announced a new plan, worked out with the UNHCR (the refugee agency of the Disunted Nations), whereby some 16,000 "migrants" would be deported to Western countries -- Germany ("More Wilkommenskultur please!"), Italy (which just voted overwhelmingly for anti-immigration parties) and... wait for it... Canada ("Diversity is our strength!" - Trudeau II).

Sadly (again!) for Mr Netanyahu, 16,000 isn't even half the horde of "refugees" camping in shanty-towns and "jungles" in Tel Aviv and other urban areas. The rest, according to the new plan, would be granted official status and allowed to remain in Israel, where they would be "integrated" into Jewish society.

Yeah. Right. LOL. Except Israelis weren't laughing, but whining [Really? Ed.] and yelling NIMBY! So once again Bibi caved. In a dramatic about-face just hours after the announcement, he said in a Facebook post that he was suspending the implementation of the agreement with the UNHCR while he consults with his officials.

Indeed.... Will Canada, Italy and Germany get 1000s more unassimilable "refugees" -- most of them Muslims, by the way -- to make their populations even more diverse? Can the Israelis come up with another way to get rid of the undesirables while at the same time preserving their image as the original persecuted people? Will the (((controlled media))) denounce the Jews for being Islamophobic racists? Walt's predictions: Yes, Maybe and NO! Lifetime pct .985.

You scream, I scream, Bibi screams for ice cream

Here's a news item you may have missed -- a scoop from Associated Press.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has frozen his annual budget for, errr, ice cream. Pun definitely intended!

Mr. Netanyahu’s office said today that after the Israeli economic newspaper Calcalist published details of the taxpayer-funded contract to purchase ice cream from Bibi's favourite Jerusalem parlour, the PM ordered it stopped immediately. Netanyahu said he would always be willing to accept his just desserts [enough puns! Ed.] but called the contract “excessive and unacceptable.”

Calcalist reported that the prime minister’s annual expense budget included $2,700 for ice cream, ordered in from the nearby Metudela ice cream shop. It wasn't all for himself though. He shared the frozen dairy [Is that kosher? Ed.] with high-ranking officials at his official residence.

If you're wondering, Bibi's favourite flavours are said to be pistachio, vanilla, and jewsy fruit. [You're fired! Ed.]

Debate? What debate?

Some debate, eh, boys and girls? When I went to school, "debate" meant a discussion of two opposing points of view, with the goal of reconciling them or deciding between one and the other.  The outcome would be the resolution of a difference of opinion. So how can you have a debate when both sides agree?

That's what I heard last night -- the Inevitable Mitt agreeing with President Al O'Bama on every conceivable issue of American foreign and "security" policy. Not once did I hear the challenger say "That's completely wrong. My policy is as different from yours as, errr, white is different from black."

Perhaps because of my endorsement of Ron Paul, I was not asked to help prep Romney for this last debate. I didn't worry about it because I thought surely one of his puppet-masters ["handlers", surely. Ed.] would have coached him to put the Prez on the wrong foot immediately by clarifying what the lamestream press called Mitt's "gaffe" about it taking 14 days for Obama to admit that the 9/11 attack in Libya as an act of terrorism.

That was the point at which "Creepy" Crowley jumped in on Obama's side to make Romney look as if he was wrong. A forceful, word-by-word examination of what Obama said in the Rose Garden the next day would have shown that Romney was quite right. But did Mitt get that out? No.

Rather, Romney started off slow and cautious and then went backwards from there. He quickly and explicitly gave ground on so many issues -- "I agree with the President"; "What the President did was right" -- that he simply didn’t have any wiggle room by the time he got to the debate’s later stages. Romney was getting pummelled so he went into the clinch and held on for dear life.

Even though he decided to give it a miss during his mid-East "apology tour", Obama portrayed himself as Israel's greatest friend in the whole world. So what? Romney let us know that, if he were president, he would be even farther up Netanyahoo's arse. Specifically, he said that if Israel were attacked by Iran or any other anti-Semites, he'd say "We've got your back." And yes, that would include military intervention.

Obama gave the order to take out Osama bin Laden, and it was done even as he commanded. What could Romney say? That he would not have ordered bin Laden killed? All he could say was that he was sorry it wasn't done sooner.

And on and on it went. Romney and Obama agreed that American should have a strong military, with Mitt predictably saying that he was going to build up the military establishment which the Prez was letting run down. Unfortunately for the wannabe, the example he chose was the US Navy, which he said had fewer warships now than at any time since 1917.

Obama countered -- rather meanly, I thought -- that it's not a game of "Battleships" any more. What counts, he said -- rather meanly, I thought -- was not the number of ships you have, but the kind of ships. What a modern navy uses, he explained (as if to a schoolkid), is aircraft carriers and nuclear-powered submarines, not battleships. And, he went on -- rather meanly, I thought -- the army doesn't use horses or bayonets either. Thus ended the lesson.

Walt's verdict: Gotta give this one to Mr. O on points, but the decision wasn't close at all. Romney never laid a glove on him. So for the series, that's one for Romney, one for Obama, and one "no decision". Which leaves the contenders just where the polls say -- pretty much tied. Should be an interesting election.

Footnote: Why oh why did the Republicans not nominate Ron Paul, so Americans would have a clear choice? Congressman Paul was the only candidate with a new and different approach to foreign policy. I defy you to discern any practical difference between Romney and Obama when it comes to Iraq or Afghanistan or Israel or Iran. Ron Paul was the only one to advocate bringing US troops home immediately, and an end to American interference in the Middle East. It's not too late to write him in. Here's how you spell his name: R-O-N  P-A-U-L.  Come on people. You know he's right!

Israel won't nuke Iran until after US election

Walt can reveal that "Battlin' Bibi" Netanyahu won't unleash the dogs of war on Iran until after the US election.

He is hot to trot, and sooner rather than later. Yesterday Bibi reacted angrily to Hellery Clinton's statement that there's no deadline for resolution of the impasse between Iran and the West. At a presser in Jerusalem (which the Democrats remind us is Israel's capital), Netanyahu said that a "red line" must be drawn in front of Iran, and that those who refuse to draw that red line can hardly show a "red light" to Israel. In other words, "try and stop us!"

However, "the Zionist entity" hasn't the military capacity to finish off Iran on its own. It's widely believed that the Jews do have nuclear strike capability, but being the first to drop the Big One since the Americans obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki would not improve Israel's standing in the international community.

So Israel is counting on the USA (and its running dogs like Canada) to finish the war they intend to start -- this in spite of the demonstrated inability of the West to accomplish similar missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And the Israelis know they can depend on their great and good friend, Al O'Bama, to send in the Marines or Seals or whatever when the time is right. And there's the hitch. The run-up to the presidential election is not the right time to force the incumbent to substitute action for promises.

Obama needs the Jewish vote in Dade County to win Florida, and he needs Florida to win the nation. So naturally he and his party say all the right things about Iran being a rogue state, a sponsor of terrorism, and so on and so forth. And, they promise, one of these days we're going to do something about it.

But if that day comes -- on Hallowe'en, let's say -- and orders have to be given to commit American dollars, American matériel and American troops, Obama will need Congress and, ultimately, the American people to approve. Walt doesn't see that approval forthcoming.

So now we have the spectacle of the President of the Most Powerful Nation on Earth avoiding any meeting or conversation with the Prime Minister of the Most Jewish Nation on Earth. Bibi is coming to the USA later this month, to speak at the United Nations, for all the good that may do. Unfortunately, the Prez won't be addressing the UN that day, and has other engagements in other cities all week.

Click here to read the Reuters analysis of why Obama doesn't want to meet Netanyahu. Or let Walt explain more simply. It's like seeing a poor relative pulling into your driveway. You know if you let him in the house he's going to ask you for something, so you quick pull down the shades, turn out the lights and pretend nobody's home.

The lights in the White House will be turned back on, and the windowshades lifted, on November 7th. What worries Netanyahu is... who will be inside?

The coffin of civilization

Readers of a certain age may remember history being taught in schools. Of course there was less of it, then. I rather enjoyed history, and learned from studying it that, to see more clearly where you should be going, you need to look back to see where you've been.

Which brings us to the Middle East, where human history began. Or so we were taught in Ancient History 101. Civilization began, we were told, in the Fertile Crescent, the land between the rivers Tigris and Euphrates, stretching from modern-day Turkey down to the Persian Gulf.

Superimpose today's national boundaries on the map, and you'll see that this cradle of civilization takes in five 21st-century states: Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and "the Zionist entity" aka Israel. If you count Palestine, you get six mutually antagonistic nations.

Just to the east lies Iran, historically known as Persia. From 2000 BC to 1000 BC [Dates are approximate, since Walt wasn't actually there. Ed.] Persia was occupied by people known as Medes, whose empire (known as Media -- no kidding) stretched from Cappadocia (eastern Turkey, today) across central Asia to what is now Pakistan. Media was one of the four great powers of the ancient Near East, until 550 BC when it was conquered by Cyrus the Great. Today, one man's Mede is another man's Persian.

The Fertile Crescent has been fought over since Cain and Abel. Visitors say the parched and dusty land seems hardly worth fighting about, but when you add in the competing claims of three religions, you have a recipe for endless warfare. The Semitic peoples -- the term includes Akkasians (Assyrians and Babylonians, Elbaites, Ugarites, Canaanites, Phoenicians (including Carthaginians), Hebrews (Israelites, Judeans and Samaritans), Ahlamu, Arameans, chaldeans, Amorites, Moabites, Edomites, Hyksos, Arabs, Nabateans, Maganites, Shebans, Sutu, Ubarites, Dilmunites, Bahranis, Maltese, Mandaeans, Sabians, Syriancs, Mhallami, Amalekits and Ethiopian Semites -- take great delight in killing each other for any reason (or no reason) whatever.

To come to the point [Thank you! Ed.] Walt predicts that the cradle of civilization is going to become the coffin of civilizatin, sooner rather than later. I won't put my lifetime pct (.989) on the line by giving an exact date for the commencement of the Armageddon, but the signs and portents are there.

On Friday, when the world was thinking TGIF and not paying attention, the Canadian government quietly closed its embassy in Tehran. The announcement was made by the Foreign Affairs Minister, John "Nancy" Baird, who was attending the APEC summit in Vladivostok with his puppet-master, "Call me Steve" Harpoon.

Remarkably, a couple of Canadian journalists were still sober enough to catch the play, and the story was -- even more remarkably -- soon on the international wire services. Read in isolation, the Canucks' decision to close up shop, and send home the Iranian dips in Ottawa, seemed no big deal. The British closed their embassy after an incident a couple of years ago, and the Americans did the same long before that. The Harper government has become notorious for sucking up to Israel, so this latest move would seem to be a logical extension of Canada's so-called policy on the Middle East.

But why now? Why choose a quiet, end-of-summer weekend to decamp? Canada officially declared Iran to be a terrorist state, or at least a sponsor or supporter of terrorism. And, Mr. Beardless said, Iran hadn't stopped work on developing a "nuculer" bomb. Nothing new there. So why now?

Walt thinks the Israelis -- whose prime minister, "Bibi" Netanyahoo, within seconds issued a statement praising the Canadian action -- are getting set to pull the trigger, and gave their Canadian friends a little advance warning so there'll be no smell of cooked back bacon and maple syrup hanging in the air of Tehran.

Would Israel strike first? It wouldn't be the first time. Their own people are expecting it and preparing accordingly. In Jerusalem, gas masks are reportedly selling briskly.
