Walt's message for the Glorious (?) Fourth of July
What can one say about a country whose large cities -- almost all run by Democratic "administrations" -- are unsafe for straight, law-abiding citizens? What can one say about the "blue states" on the east and left coasts whose sane people are fleeing to the unwoke heartland, where there is a chance of living in peace, without having to keep one eye open while sleeping?
Demented Joe Biden's America is broken (and broke, too). You know it. I know it. Even President Brandon -- "God save the queen, man!", his cronies and arse-kissers, and the lickspittle media know it, although they keep pretending everything is OK.
Walt, Poor Len [and Ed.! Ed.]
wish our American readers and friends
Happy Independence Day.
Please join us in prayer...

Agent 3 writes about mass murder in Saskatchewan
Ed. here. Agent 3, who worked for a short while in northeastern Saskatchewan, where, last Sunday, 11 people were stabbed to death (and another 19 wounded) by one man, shares a few thoughts.
In 2017, on the occasion of Canada's sesiquicentennial, the Liberal government declared that "First Nations" -- the people who used to be called "Indians" -- were the rightful owners of the land, and much better people than the white colonialists who built the country up from nothing to one of the top five in the United Nations Human Development Index.
The fact that many of the First Nations lived in poverty on "reserves" in rural areas, rife with unemployment and alcoholism was, the Liberals told us, the fault of us racist white supremacists. We were guilty, guilty, guilty, they told us, of taking Indian children away from their homes, putting them in prison-like residential schools, and trying to make them into white men and women.
So the First Nations became permanent "flavours of the month", forever victims, about whom nothing negative could ever be said, and whose entitlement to the land (and every sort of benefit) was to be proclaimed at the start of every public meeting or ceremony, including hockey games.
Just over 40 years ago I lived and worked for a short time -- it seemed much longer -- amongst the Indians (that word was OK then, so I'll just keep using it) in northeastern Saskatchewan, trying to reconcile their culture with white man's law -- a very difficult task. In those days, life on the "rez" (reserve) was nasty, brutish and short. Seems like it hasn't changed a lot since then.
I refer, in particular, to the James Smith Cree Nation, northeast of Prince Albert, where, last Sunday, a 30-year-old man named Myles Sanderson ran amok, repeatedly stabbing some 30 people, 11 of whom died. They were all Indians, except for one elderly white man who was killed in the village of Weldon, about 20 miles from the rez.
One of those slain was Damien Sanderson, on the left in the pictures displayed by the Mounties. Damien was Myles' brother, and was initially believed to be his accomplice in a folie à deux.
Exactly what transpired between Myles and Damien Sanderson will never be known, because Myles died of unknown causes while he was in police custody shortly after being arrested near Rosthern yesterday afternoon. The Mounties had rammed the stolen pickup truck which Myles was driving, pushing it into a ditch, but witnesses said Myles appeared to be alive when loaded onto a stretcher.
Police investigations continue but of course there will be no trial. Many people are saying, even now, that Myles Sanderson got what he deserved, even if the "justice" was administered by the cops rather than the courts. After all, he had already been "dealt with according to the law" many times before.
He had been in prison -- the Saskatchwan pen is conveniently located at Prince Albert -- more than once. He was once sent to a "healing lodge", to get straightened out in the Indian way. And then back to prison. At the time when Myles went on the rampage, he was on statutory release, meaning he'd done his time and they had to let him go.
Yet the woke politicians and liberal media are already trying to portray Myles Sanderson as the victim! After all, he was an Indian, so whatever he did, whatever happened to him, had to be the fault of white society!
Like many of his peers, he was a hopeless alcoholic and drug addict. That's the white man's fault because drugs and booze were brought to the Indians by white men centuries ago. Although he was never sent to a residential school, just as American blacks are still suffering because their ancestors were slaves, everyone knows that the adverse effects on the psyche can be handed down through the generations.
The Liberal party line is that we white folks have a duty to make things right with the Indians. If they're going to heal, we have to heal them! How? By making life on the rez better -- building houses for them, paving the roads, and (of course) giving still more money for "community projects" and other types of welfare.
My question is: how do you help those who can't or won't help themselves? If getting educated, working hard, and striving to improve your lot in life are "white virtues", then I would suggest that the residential schools were not wrong to try to inculcate those virtues into the children placed in their care. I could go on, but political correctness forbids....

Annapolis mass murder not Trump's fault - media types disappointed
Similarly, nobody was saying anything about the shooter's possible motivation. I suggested three possibilities:
- Crazed Islamic terrorist protesting President Trump's "Muslim ban", upheld Tuesday by the Supreme Court. But there are no reports of shouts of "Allahu akbar!" being heard.
- Crazed anti-Trumper protesting President Trump's "Muslim ban" after hearing the ladies of The View denigrate the ban, the President, and SCOTUS, all in one breath.
- Crazed... something or somebody else... maybe an ex-employee who went postal. Who knows?
The (((controlled media))) were quick to jump to the first or second conclusion, leaning to the second when it was learned that the killer was a white man. All too typical was Rob Cox, Global Editor for Thomson Reuters' Breakingviews who tweeted (@rob1cox): "This is what happens when @realDonaldTrump calls journalists the enemy of the people. Blood is on your hands, Mr. President. Save your thoughts and prayers for your empty soul."
Imagine the consternation of Mr Cox (and all the other liberal meeja types who were writing their own similar messages) when the shooter was revealed, by the Baltimore Sun, the owners of the Capital-Gazette, to be 38-year-old "Jarrod W. Ramos, a man with a longstanding dispute with the newspaper." Mr Ramos filed a defamation lawsuit against the paper and one of its columnists in 2012.
Mr Cox has since deleted his tweet and acknowledges "jumping to a conclusion." Although Mr Ramos appears not to be an ex-employee of the newspaper, I think my third guess is close enough to raise my lifetime pct to .989. Keep that in mind any time you want to know what's really going on.

What motivates mass murderers?
A couple of days ago, a Canadian aviation "expert" said he was "100% certain" that the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 -- still undiscovered somewhere at the bottom of the Indian Ocean -- was an extreme case of murder-suicide, perpetrated by the plane's pilot. Last month, 10 people were killed and 16 wounded by a young Toronto man who for some reason decided to drive a rented man down the sidewalk of a busy main street.
And in the USA, there are "school shootings", not in the ghettos of Los Angeles, Chicago, or Detroit, but in white(ish) locales in states like Florida (Parkland) and Texas (Santa Fe). The massacre at Columbine happened just over 19 years ago. Since then, there have been hundreds, hundreds of similar "incidents".
Why do people kill dozens, scores or even hundreds of innocent people? What is their motivation for mass murder? These are questions I ask myself every time something like this happens. It seems to me that only two reasons are possible. Someone who would commit such an atrocity must either be:
A - a fanatical follower of the Religion of Peace (read: Islam) or some other extremist religious and/or political group; or
B - someone whose cheese has slipped off his cracker (read: a psychotic individual).
In "Toronto killer of 10 'seemed a little off'... that's all", the perpetrator of the recent massacre in Canada's Proudly Diverse City is described as "kind of a loner, kept to himself, and 'seemed a little off'." Later it emerged that he identified himself as an "incel" -- "involuntarily celibate" -- someone who couldn't score with women and so decided to take his frustration out on the world.
The Santa Fe TX high school student who allegedly opened fire on his classmates on yesterday has been described as "a quiet and unassuming teenager who enjoys sports and showed few if any warning signs of violent behaviour." He was a member of a dance group at a local Greek Orthodox church and an avid videogame player, known among his classmates mostly for playing on the school's junior varsity football team. A teammate told a Houston TV station, "He stuck to himself. He had a few friends but never really talked to many people. For him to do something like this, it's crazy."
Exactly! But how did those young men -- they are always young men -- become "crazy"? And how are we supposed to protect ourselves and our communities against the crazy behaviour that kills?
To guard against Islamic terrorists, the authorities tell us "If you see something, say something!" But that doesn't work in the case of people like Deimitrios Pagourtzis, the Sante Fe High School killer. The only odd thing that people noticed about him was that he liked to wear a trench coat, even in the Texas heat. What are you gonna do, call 9-1-1 and tell them "my classmate keeps coming to school in a trenchcoat!"?
For that very reason, stricter gun controls won't work, unless America can be turned into some kind of liberal Utopia in which no-one, absolutely no-one has a gun, which seems highly unlikely, to put it mildly. And if that were so, what is to stop a crazy man [or woman! Ed.] from finding another weapon... like a rental van. If you have a good answer to my question, something that doesn't involve locking up every oddball and eccentric in the land, please tell the world... quick!!!
