UPDATED: Radical Islamist attacks followers of "Rev." James Martin

As Walt pointed out a mere six weeks ago, homosexuality -- the lifestyle and the acts, not the people suffering from this disorder -- is condemned in Islam, just as it is in Christianity. A Catholic (in name, anyway) priest who begs to disagree is Father James Martin, S.J., the leading apostle (in America) of all things gay. He is called out by name in the video in "Bad shepherds are leading the faithful to hell!", WWW 1/8/21.  

The ever-increasing number of "Pride events" -- days, weeks, months, parades, festivals and other queer-ins -- has given rise to an increasing number of anti-gay types who are sick, sore and tired of all this "We're here, we're queer!" nonsense. 

One person who has acted on his righteous indignation is a follower of the Prophet -- Abdul Ballout, a German citizen of Lebanese background -- who is now the subject of a massive manhunt in Germany after a suspected "Islamist terror attack" at a Berlin Pride event last night.

One woman is dead and at least 29 injured after a van drove into a crowd. The suspect then attacked people with a blade that "might have been a machete." [It might have been a scimitar too, but "machete" is easier to spell. Ed.]

Herr Ballout was known to die Polizei and had previously "committed a number of crimes." He is still at large, but the cops have taken several people into custody in relation to the attack, according to German media. Die Zeit reports that some of those taken into custody have now been released, while others remain in custody.

Inspector Katzenjammer of the Berlin constabulary reportedly told journalists that if police cannot assign suspicions of a crime to those detained, then they must be released within 48 hours. It's still unclear if the suspect named as Abdul Ballout is believed to have acted alone, or with accomplices. 

Equally unclear, to hear the cops tell it, is the motive for the attack. But, warns the German Minister of the Interior, "We cannot rule out the possibility of copycat attacks." 

An angry German Chancellor Fred Merz (pictured) added that extremists "have no place in our society", vowing to do everything in the government's power to see justice served.

UPDATE ADDED 27/7/26 @ 0515 FMT: Die Polizei found the killer yesterday, hiding in a shed in the Spandau district of Berlin. They shot and killed him. No trial. 

One bleeding heart liberal has already commented that this shows why we need Pride Parades. Well, it does get `em all together in one place so you can attach them en masse, if you are so inclined.

Another day, another transsexual mass shooting

From the frozen wastes of the Great No-longer-white North, Agent 3 reports that the Canajan lickspittle meeja were so busy downplaying the chosen gender identity of the tranny who mudered 9 people (including his mother and himself) in Tumbler Ridge BC, that it completely omitted to report a similar mass shooting which occurred yesterday in Rhode Island.

In Pawtucket RI (home of the Pawtucket Patriot Ale), a gunperson who was born male but identified as a woman killed two people and injured three others at a high school hockey match at the Dennis M. Lynch Areana, before turning the gun on himself.

According to local police chief, 56-year-old, the birth name of the shooter was Robert Dorgan, but "We have also learned that the person does go by the name of Roberta and also uses the last name of Esposito."

Mr/Ms/Whatever Dorgan, believed to have been the father of one of the hockey players, sat at the back of the stands on the home team's side during the hockey match before moving to the front and opening fire on four family members and one family friend. He/she/whatever died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The mother of a student hockey player died inside Lynch Arena, while her child died later at the hospital. Three victims were in critical condition as of last night.

The motive has not been officially established, but police believe it was a targeted shooting that stemmed from a family dispute. Police have not identified the victims, but a different official source told Fox News that the gunman killed his wife and shot three of his children. The similarity with the mass murder in Canada is notable. Not that all transsexuals don't gert along with their families, of course, but... just sayin'.

Another similarity with the Canadian story is the reluctance of the American controllede media to inform their audiences that the shooter was a transsexual. The ultra-liberal-left New York Times, for example, spends 800 words without using the word. The only clue their five (count `em, 5) reporters give us is the quote from the police chief.

Why is the NYT so diffident? Breitbart's John Nolte says that their "lie of omission" of the unpleasant fact -- he calls it "as good as spreading disinformation" --  is due to their desperate desire not to offend their shrinking subscriber base, which (he says) "is made up mostly of intolerant leftists who will cancel their subscription should the Times begin to report truths that make them in any way uncomfortable.

"New York Times readers 1) don’t want to be exposed to anything that makes them uncomfortable, 2) do not want facts published that go against leftist narratives, and 3) do not want the Times to publish any truth that might hurt the leftist cause."

Of course the NYT is not the only media outlet turning a blind eye to the painful truth. Forget about the mainstream media. Before drinking their liberal Kool-Aid [Yes, we know it was actually "Flavor Aid". Ed.] check alternative sources... like WWW. The truth is out there. You just have to look for it.

Tumbler Ridge massacre just an excuse to bash trans folk, says activist

"Let's not politicize this," said politicians of all stripes as they cried on cue for the victims of Tuesday's school shooting at Tumbler Ridge BC that left nine people dead, including the killer, and 27 injured.

Among those weeping was Marni Panas, a "trans activist" based in Edmonton, who says her heart broke when she saw the news. When rumours (confirmed much later by the RCMP)  began to circulate that the suspect, at first described as "a woman in a brown coat" was actually a biological male, Jesse Strang, who "identified as a woman", Ms Panas watched in horror what she says has become a predictable pattern emerge online. 

Within minutes, she says some people began to leverage the tragedy to "advance hate" against the trans community. "This will just get uglier now for us and for our community as a whole, when our attention should be on the care of these victims and to support communities," she said.

UPDATED: Jesse who? Latest on BC school massacre

What follows appeared on Canada's Global TV News website 46 minutes after Walt's last post on the tragedy at Tumbler Ridge BC. 

"BC RCMP have identified the shooter as 18-year-old female Jesse Van Rootselaar, who is a resident of Tumbler Ridge. [A spokesthingy] said they do have a history of police calls to the family residence involving Van Rootselaar, including some mental health calls."

Ed. was unable to find any photos -- male or female -- of "Jesse Van Rootselaar", but did find the photos above in which the subject is identified as 17-year-old "Jesse Strang". Could they be related? The Mounties later  said that the two Jesses were one and the same. "Jesse Van Rootselaar" is the name that "Jesse Strang" adopted when he changed his "gender identity".

Jesse's mother, Jennifer, and sibling, Emmett, were among the eight (8) victims of his actions. After killing them and wounding over two dozen others (see previous posts), he turned the gun, for which he had an expired licence, on himself. Total body count: 9.

Mounties REFUSE to confirm trans "identity" of Tumbler Ridge killer

The massacre at Tumbler Ridge BC occurred at about 1300 PST yesterday. As I write, 21 hours later, Canada's lickspittle mainstream media are hushing up the identity and sexual orientation of the murderer -- Jesse "Jess" Strang. On the noon (EST) news, CTV News went with the liberal party line, as laid down by the state-owned CBC, to wit:

"RCMP Supt. Ken Floyd told reporters that investigators had identified a suspect, but would not immediately release a name. He also said the shooter's motive remained unclear, adding that police are still investigating how the victims are connected to the shooter. 

"Police said they believe the suspected shooter found dead at the school is the same person described in the active shooter alert sent to phones in the area earlier today. In an earlier alert Tuesday, police had described the suspect as 'female in a dress with brown hair.'"

Why the radio silence? Because, you see, Mr/Ms/Whatever Strang was a transsexual or at least a transsexual wannabe. That doesn't fit the woke wisdom which prevails in Canada, that there's nothing wrong with people who wish to change their birth sexuality, or should we say the sexuality imposed on them by their parents.. 

They "act out", the wokesters say, only because they're being deprived of their "right" to decide their gender identity for themselves. To suggest that people like Strang might be dangerous to themselves and others because of a form of mental illness is (of course) "unacceptable".

Another gender-confused "person" shoots up another school...

...in Canada, this time. Nine people have been killed, two seriously wounded, and 25 others injured in attacks at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School and a home in Tumbler Ridge, about 415 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia. Al Jazeera reports.

Six victims were found dead inside the school. A seventh died on the way to hospital Two more people were found dead in a home nearby. The Mounties won't say "definitively" that the shootings at the school are connected with those at the home. In fact, they're reluctant to divulge any information that would confirm our suspicions, because (Walt believes) it reflects badly on the sick state of woke Western society. 

The suspect's body, reportedly clad in a dress -- you can see where this is going -- was found at the school with a self-inflicted injury. Inspector Knacker says the cops know the attacker's identity but have not revealed their name and gender. 

But hold on! Thanks to @reddux on Twitter, the identity of the shooter can now be confirmed as Jesse "Jess" Strang, a biological male who started to "identify as a girl" around 2023.

There's a  more revealing (in a way) photo on Reddux's thread but you can check that for yourself. 

In 2021, Mr/Ms/Whatever Strang launched a YouTube channel which was promoted by his mother (aha!) on her Facebook account. The channel was dedicated to "hunting, self-reliance, guns" and his... errr... other interests. 

[Let's forget about pronouns and call Strang by his surname. Ed.] OK. Strang was raised in a family that valued hunting, and began learning how to shoot rifles when he was just a child. Many guns were kept in the family's residence. 

Strang's mother's Facebook posts indicate Strang may have struggled with behavioral issues, including violent tendencies, from a very young age. Strang fatally shot 9 people (at last count) prior to taking his own life.

Ontario schoolteacher questions LGBTQ sex ed agenda

Two months ago (24/4/10) Walt disparaged the LGBTQ* agenda which is being pushed by liberal media, all "progressive persons" and, in Ontario, the provincial government. See Lesbian cabinet minister pushed queer sex ed plan.

That post provoked considerable outrage from a couple of the aforementioned "progressive persons" and Right Thinkers, who predictably accused Walt of homophobia and -- shock! horror! -- being a social conservative!

But it appears Walt is not the only one who thinks that this whole gay rights thing has gone too far. This morning I found in my inbox the following comment from an Ontario elementary school teacher:

That sex ed thing was a fiasco. This week we had to do a "school climate survey" with our Grade 4 and 5 students. It took about three hours of class time. The questions included stuff on how the students "perceived equity" in what they were exposed to in the way of information, books, posters, etc. on women & girls, different cultures, religions, families, gays and lesbians, transgender, and bullying issues of all kinds.

How much time should I spend reading stories and articles about gay/lesbian and transgendered individuals to my 9- and 10-year-olds? My class's answer: NEVER!

* LGBTQ = Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered & Questioning. That the latest PC tag for those who reject sexual normality. Don't blame me; I didn't make it up.

Tax dollars pay for "gay pride" events -- simply silly!

Are you pleased, fellow taxpayers, that the Harper government is using your hard-earned and grudgingly paid tax dollars to support Gay Pride parades? The Toronto event, a couple of weeks ago, benefited from an injection of $400,000. Under the guise of promoting tourism, the Tories are trying to buy the votes of gays, lesbians, transsexuals and other deviates with our money.

Even Steve’s Tory caucus don’t approve! Conservative MP Brad Trost (he’ll be "Toast" after the next election!) said, on the record, that "almost the entire Conservative caucus" and the Prime Minister's Office were caught off guard by the huge grant to the organizers of Toronto’s gay pride week.

Trost suggested that junior tourism minister Diane Ablonczy had been stripped of the funding envelope because of the grant. The government denies that, but these days they deny everything! Perhaps poor Ms. Ablonczy was simply overworked?

Meanwhile Suzanne Girard, director of Montreal's Divers/Cité "artistic" festival, blamed "right-wing fringe elements" for unfairly trying to embarrass the Conservatives and cause problems for events like hers at which it is said such arts and crafts as body painting and fudge packing are demonstrated.

So are Mr. Toast and the four other MPs who criticized the grant at a weekly meeting last month "right-wing fringe elements"? Or do they speak for the majority of Canadians who are (a) straight and (b) disgusted to see their taxes being used to promote a lifestyle which is contrary to the laws of God and nature. (See following post.)

Canada Family Action, a socially conservative advocacy group, said it was disturbed taxpayers' money was used to fund Toronto Pride. It said Toronto police should have laid charges against individuals who paraded nude at the event.

Richard Vezina of Montreal's Black and Blue festival, touted as the biggest gay and lesbian event of its kind in the world, says he has been the victim of the social conservatism in the Conservative government. Conservatism in a Conservative government -- imagine that!

Mr. Vezina's party-type festival is waiting to find out whether it will receive Marquee funding.
He sent Industry Canada a letter asking whether the Ablonczy matter would "impact the objective analysis" of his application. He did not, however, demand the return of his trophy, awarded annually to the NHL’s best goaltender. (Is this right? Ed.)

One of Mr. Vezina’s colleagues, Bruce Light-Leauferre, characterized the whole controversy as "simply silly".
