What does Islam really teach about homosexuality?

You know how people say you can't be homosexual and still be a follower of the Prophet? And other liberal people say that's a lie made up by right-wingers such as your obedient servant? Check out "A practical guide for Muslims on how to navigate LGBTQ Pride month".

That allegedly homophobic guide helping Muslims navigate through Pride Month, was published by 5Pillars, a prominent Muslim news organization known in Broken Britain for supporting the Green Party and other forms of wokeism. But gay culture, it seems, is strictly haram!

The short “practical” guide for Western Muslim invaders emphasizes that, according to Islamic texts and scholars, both homosexual acts and same-sex marriage are forbidden and immoral. 

Although it states that same-sex attraction, being involuntary, is not inherently sinful, it encourages homosexual Muslims to seek conversion therapy because acting on their desires is "religiously prohibited." Homosexuality is framed as an affliction that calls for "compassion without compromise."

Good Islamic parents are advised to monitor their children's information diet -- the information, misinformation and disinformation kids get through schools, social media or pop culture -- and to "neutralize" LGBT-friendly messages through Islamic teaching.

5Pillars bills itself as "the largest English-language Muslim news site in Europe, Australia and the Americas". If they have even half the hundreds of thousands of followers they claim, 5Pillars is definitely not a fringe voice.

In related news: The wokesters at the University of Western Ontario in London (ON -- not the big one) have got their pink knickers all in a twist when followers of the Prophet compained about this image posted on social media, which shows four couples -- none of them straight and white -- including two women in the traditional Muslim hijab, about to share a kiss. 

The image drew fierce criticism from some Muslims, which Western acknowledged in a message issued yesterday announcing why they'd removed the post. "Our intent with the post was to demonstrate Western's unwavering support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia," the post said. 

"We also understand the image was upsetting for some members of the Muslim community." UWO statement went on to say that the post was intended to trigger discussions about how to support queer Muslims. "In order to promote that discussion, we have removed the image from the post to not distract from these important conversations."

A post on The Change.org describes the image of two women wearing the hijab and about to kiss as "offensive." The text goes on to say that the post uses the image of two Muslim women in a way that is insensitive and overtly sexual. "The depiction of the hijab in such a context is disrespectful, tokenizing, and attempting to redefine elements of the hijab by sexualizing and fetishizing an element of Islamic religion that is supposed to desexualize and encapsulate modesty."

A statement issued by the London Council of Imams also supported the decision to have the post taken down. "While we understand that the intent of the poster published on by May17.org is to promote inclusion, we can see that the goal was not met and the means used were contrary to inclusion. Many were left with the impression that Muslims were singled out in having a symbol of their religion included in the poster." The statement went on to say that posting the image led to "hateful comments" being directed at Muslims. "We unequivocally reject any hateful statement directed toward any religion or group based on their religion, culture, ethnicity, and/or sexual orientation." 

But wait, there's more. The headline on Canadian website CP24 reads: "Pride flag burned at Markham school, 2 suspects facing charges". York Region police say two suspects are facing charges in a "potentially hate-motivated incident" that saw a Markham ON school's Pride flag burned.

The coppers responded to an unnamed school located near Yonge Street and Clark Avenue in Markham on Tuesday for reports that the flag had been burned. Investigators determined that two suspects attended the school a day earlier at approximately 2300 and removed the flag from its holder, ripped it, and attempted to set it on fire.

Walt doesn't understand how such an act can be "potentially" hate-motivated. Is that like being "potentially pregnant"? Seems to me an act either is or is not hate-motivated. Perhaps it's a question of proof, rather than jumping to conclusions.

But wait. The two 18-year-old suspects have now been identified as Sepehr Abadar and Mahan Mohammad Radmard, both of Markham, both former students of the school. The young Mohammedans have each been charged with mischief under $5000, and police have now deleted the "potentially" from their account of the incident. A spokesthingy told the meejua "York Regional Police takes all hate-motivated incidents seriously and will not tolerate any form of hate crime."

Yesterday we posted a brief video by our old friend Michael Matt, as part of an update to "What about that 'Father James Martin'?". We also gave you, in "Walt's forecast on Leo XIV's papacy: no change expected", the link to another commentary by Anthony Stine. Both videos deal with what Mr Matt called "the nightmare in Minneapolis" and the connection with Father James Martin, the heretical priest who is the chief Catholic [not really Ed.] promoter of the LGBTQ agenda.

Today we want to share the thoughts of  Dr Taylor Marshall, another powerful voice of traditional Catholicism, and author of the just-released Christian Patriot! To get your copy,  hot off the press, follow the links in the YouTube feed.

In this video, live-streamed earlier today, Dr Marshall shows a photo of Pope Leo XIV meeting with the Queer Priest whose mission is to turn Catholics (and everyone else towards -- not away from, but towards beliefs and practices that are antithetical to the Gospel of Salvation.

Dr Marshall argues that the Holy Father should immediately issue a profound mea culpa, and reaffirm the Faith of our fathers. And if he doesn't? Is this the end of the "wait and see" period for Pope Leo? The video is long, but worth watching, at least the first 40 minutes or so. In the second half, Dr Marshall answers questions and comments from those watching the livestream.

 

Walt's forecast on Leo XIV's papacy: no change expected

Since May, Walt has said nothing much about Pope Leo XIV, whom many traditional Catholics had hoped (and prayed) would slow down, if not stop the descent of the Roman Catholic Church into wokeness, heresy and irrelevancy. "Give him time," said our old friend Michael Matt. Well, we did, and are saddened to report that the passage of nearly three months has revealed the new pope to be very little different from his predecessor, Francis the Talking Pope.

Pope Prevost's appointments to the Roman Curia, announced very quietly on Friday, have been mostly modernists, and protégés of Francis. 

Nor has he stopped the crackdown on the Traditional Latin Mass, ordered by some bishops "in accordance with the wishes of Pope Francis", even though Francis had gone to his reward.

And today, we have news of a meeting between Pope Leo and Father James Martin, to whom we devoted an entire post just last week. 

Father Martin is as gay as 18 balloons, and found favour in the eyes of Francis as one of the most prominent advocates for "gay marriage" and "greater LGBTQ+ inclusion in the Catholic Church". Father Martin told the meeja that Leo "encouraged his ministry", just days before a planned Holy Year pilgrimage of LGBTQ+ Catholics to the Vatican, in a sign of "continued welcome in this new pontificate."

He said also that Leo told him he intended to continue Pope Francis’ policy of LGBTQ+ acceptance in the Church. "I heard the same message from Pope Leo that I heard from Pope Francis, which is the desire to welcome all people, including LGBTQ people," the objectively heretical priest told AP after the audience. "It was wonderful. It was very consoling and very encouraging and frankly a lot of fun."

The meeting, which lasted about half an hour, was officially announced by the Vatican in a sign that the new pope wanted it made public, to signal continuity with Francis, who more than any of Leo’s predecessors worked to make the Catholic Church more queer-friendly. 

From his 2013 quip, "Who am I to judge?" about a purportedly gay priest, to his decision to allow priests to bless same-sex couples, Francis distinguished himself with his message of welcome. During his 12-year papacy, Francis met on several occasions with Fr Martin and named him an advisor in the Vatican's communications department and a member of his "Synod on synodality", a big multi-year meeting on the future of the Church.

Still, Francis never changed church teaching saying homosexual acts are "intrinsically disordered". Whether Leo will attempt to change dogma is something of a question. Soon after he was elected in May, remarks surfaced from 2012 in which Father Robert Prevost, as he then was, criticized the "homosexual lifestyle" and the role of mass media in promoting acceptance of same-sex relationships that conflicted with Catholic doctrine. 

When he became a cardinal in 2023, Catholic News Service asked Prevost if his views had changed. He acknowledged Francis' call for a more inclusive church, saying Francis "made it very clear that he doesn’t want people to be excluded simply on the basis of choices that they make, whether it be lifestyle, work, way to dress, or whatever." The doctrine of the Church had not changed, Cardinal Prevost said, "but we are looking to be more welcoming and more open and to say all people are welcome in the church." 

So where does the new Pope Prevost stand today? Fr Martin, who knew him from their time working together in the aforementioned synod, told AP he wasn't worried about Leo's views, and had always found him to be "a very open, welcoming, inclusive person.... But it's wonderful to hear this continuation."

What about that "Father James Martin"? - BONUS VIDEO ADDED

Some readers have expressed puzzlement over Walt's reference in "What made her/him do it?!", WWW 27/8/25, to "evil priests of the Father Hames Martin type". "Who he?", we hear them ask. That's him  on the right in the picture, giving his priestly blessing to a gay couple.

Father Martin is an American Jesuit priest and pro-queer activist. He was a great friend of the late Jorge Bergoglio (a Jesuit known by some as Pope Francis), and is now in the very good graces of Pope Leo XIV and members of the Mauve Mafia in the Vatican.

Father Martin is objectively a heretic in that he not only denies but openly advocates one of the mortal sins that deprive the soul of grace. They are serious transgressions of God's law, done freely and deliberately with a clear understanding of what they are. Their result is to deny a soul entrance to heaven. 

There are particular mortal sins that are so evil that they cry to heaven for vengeance. They are (with Biblical references for our readers who insist that only what's in the Bible counts): murder (Genesis 4:10), sodomy (Genesis 18:20-21), oppression of the poor (Exodus 2:23), and defrauding workers of their just wages (St. James 5:4).

Sodomy and other "choices" of the liberal/libertine lifestyle are still regarded by Holy Mother Church as grave sins, even though modernists priests and bishops don't say the silent part out loud since the days of Pope Benedict XVI. Just one day before his election, Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger delivered a homily in which he denounced modern trends he said were undermining Catholicism and Western civilization. "We are moving toward a dictatorship of relativism," he said, "which does not recognize anything for certain and which has as its highest goal one's own ego and one's own desires."

As enforcer of Catholic dogma, Cardinal Ratzinger chastised dissident theologians, said no to female priests, no to married priests and no to gay marriage. He described homosexuality as an "objective disorder and an intrinsic moral evil."

One of the pontiff's most successful and most emotional trips was to the United States in 2008, where he tackled the most painful issue for the Catholic Church in America — clerical sex abuse — saying he was deeply ashamed. "It is in the context of this hope born of God's love and fidelity that I acknowledge the pain which the church in America has experienced as a result of the sexual abuse of minors," he said. "No words of mine could describe the pain and harm inflicted by such abuse ... nor can I adequately describe the damage that has occurred within the community of the Church." 

Readers should now understand my wondering, yesterday, if Robin (formerly Robert) Westman might have been "influenced" by "evil priests of the Father James Martin type." If, indeed, the Minneapolis shooter was "influenced" by an evil priest, that does not excuse her/him. But it condemns the one who led the little one astray.

He that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. (St. Matthew 18:6)

"Modern society is revolting..."

Modern society is revolting against God and his created order. In some ways, there's nothing new: "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto his own, and his own received Him not." (St. John 1:10-11 DRV) 

In another way, the revolt seems to have arrived at its theoretical conclusion: we are the gods of our own creation. 

Society accepts that humans can become animals; which was preceded by the idea animals are persons too; which was preceded by a rejection of human dignity (physician assisted suicide); Preceded by the rejection of sexual differences of male and female (gender ideology); preceded by the rejection of the nature of marriage (homosexual "marriage"); preceded by the rejection of heterosexual normalcy (gay rights); 

Preceded by the rejection of the sanctity of human life (abortion); preceded by the rejection of the dignity of motherhood (feminism); preceded by the rejection of differentiated roles (women in the workforce); which was preceded by the rejection of the sanctity of marriage (legalized divorce); which was preceded by a rejection of the family as the unit of society (women's suffrage). 

The descent has not been slow -- all these things (except perhaps women's suffrage) happened within living memory -- but it has been sure. 

It only remains for the revolutionaries to eliminate the dissenters. Let them come. What can separate us from the love of God?

Hyuge Vatican flip-flop: "Pope" Francis okays blessing of "gay unions"

As Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, predicted in "For God's Sake" earlier this month, Jorge Bergoglio, the man who calls himself "Pope" Francis, has finally confirmed that homosexuality is not, per se, sinful. Therefore, the Vatican has now reversed its position banning the blessing of homosexual couples, asserting that a blessing can now be "offered to all without requiring anything" (such as repentance and a vow to turn away from a disordered lifestyle).

In a text released today with the express approval of the "Pope", the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (formerly the "Congregation" and, before that, the "Holy Office", in the days when that meant something) stated, that blessings require both “the right intention of those who participate” and “that what is blessed be objectively and positively ordered to receive and express grace, according to the designs of God inscribed in creation.” 

It seems the "Church of Accompaniment" has come along way since March of 2021, when CDF issued a statement declaring that the Church has no authority to bless homosexual unions, noting that God Himself  "does not and cannot bless sin. For this reason, it is not licit to impart a blessing on relationships, or partnerships, even stable, that involve sexual activity outside of marriage, as is the case of the unions between persons of the same sex."

What should we faithful Christians believe, Here's what the Bible has to say.

Isaias 5:20–21 (DRV): 

Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. 

Woe to you that are wise in your own eyes, and prudent in your own conceits.

Wonder if Francis has ever read that. Here's another one.

Malachias 3:16-18 (DRV): Then they that feared the Lord spoke every one with his neighbour: and the Lord gave ear, and heard it: and a book of remembrance was written before him  for them that fear the Lord, and think on his name.  

And they shall be my special possessions, saith the Lord of hosts, in the say that I do judgment: and I will spare them, as a man spareth his son that serveth him.  

And you shall return, and shall see the difference between the just and the wicked: and between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.

Who, let us ask, does Francis serve?

Pope Francis Excommunicates Apostle Paul Over Outdated Views On Women, Marriage 

If you think that's unlikely, consider this latest video from Remnant TV. Michael Matt says that the Church may finally have reached the point of self-destruction by declaring that there is no more sin. If the Church no longer believes in hell, that renders the Incarnation and Resurrection pointless, and the existence of the Church irrelevant. 

Let us pray. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Mother Miriam calls Synod on Synodality "deceptive" and "a sham"

Ed. here. Walt is recovering nicely but doesn't feel up to writing. so we are reposting, from LifeSite News, the text of a recent episode of  "Mother Miriam Live", in which Mother Miriam warned the faithful about the Pope of Woke's worldwide "Synod on Synodality". She said the Vatican may seek to use the programme to overhaul the Church in ways contrary to the Faith. 

Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, as she is now called, is known to many in the Catholic world. Born and raised in a Jewish home in Brooklyn, Rosalind Moss embraced Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish people as an adult.

The longtime Benedictine nun and Catholic apologist declared that she will not participate in the Synod, describing it as "a sham" and a "plot" and linking it to a broader push for global control.

The Synod on Synodality, launched by Pope Francis last year, is currently in the diocesan phase, requiring bishops to hold "listening sessions" to gather opinions of Catholics and non-Catholics alike and discern "how God is calling us to be as the Church in the third millennium." [Click here to see actual video clips from one of these Kumbaya-fests, held recently in a diocese in Newfoundland. Ed.] 

According to the Synod handbook, local responses will then be "synthesized" by the Vatican as the basis of working documents for the Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023. The initiative has repeatedly been embroiled in controversy, including over dissident affirmations of homosexuality and suggestions of female ordination by Synod leaders. 

"I don't believe that those handling the Synod could care what anybody says in a listening session or what their feedback is," Mother Miriam said. "They already have their plan. They’re doing this to make us feel that we are part of it and that what they're doing is the majority opinion, even if it's not ours. 

"It's absolutely false," she continued. "It’s completely deceptive. Our opinion, our listening has nothing to do with their plans. We're pawns in their program, and they could care less."

Mother Miriam noted that she wasn't speaking of individual bishops or dioceses, but of "those at the Vatican who have perpetrated this.... So, I would not or be a part of a listening session," she recommended, "and if you do, don't be deceived that what you think or anyone or anyone else thinks is going to have any bearing on the corruption being spread on us throughout the world."

She also predicted that the Vatican would use the Synod to attempt radical changes unsupported by faithful Catholics and point to the listening sessions as justification. "I don't believe that their listening sessions or our responses to them are going to have anything to do with what the Church, the Vatican, is going to put on us," she said. "Absolutely not. I think it's a ploy to make us think that this was the response of Catholics, and it is not."

Heterodox Cardinal Mario Grech, the Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops and an outspoken backer of the LGBT movement, has hinted at as much, saying that the Synod on Synodality will help to "find truth" and inform possible doctrinal changes by Pope Francis. 

His under-secretary, Sr. Nathalie Becquart, has asserted that the Pope intends to "disconnect participation in the leadership of the Church from ordination" and "get rid of a clerical church" [!!!] through the initiative. 

And Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, relator general of the Synod, recently claimed that the Church’s millennia-old condemnation of sodomy is now "false" because "the sociological-scientific foundation of this teaching is no longer correct" -- comments that Australian Cardinal George Pell has called "explicit heresy."

Liberal pro-queer agenda working; 1000s of young peoople converted!

For years now, Walt and many others have been saying that the liberal elites and their lickspittle media have a not-so-secret "pro-queer agenda".

Every day, susceptible young people are bombarded with the message that it's not just OK, but cool to be gay. That's why you have characters like Raj and Howard in Big Bang Theory, the most pervasive... and unfunny... sitcom on TV. 

The point seems to be to reduce the white population of the West, by swelling the ranks (f not the members) of the heterosexual populace. Whities are, of course, the only ones swallowing this falling for this since nonsense.

But falling for it they are. According to a Gallup survey published last week, 5.6% of Americans now identify as LGBTQ2Setcetc, up from 4.5% in a survey done in 2017. But it's not oldies like Walt and Poor Len [and Ed.! Ed.] who are pushing the numbers up. Gallup says liberals, young people, and women skew more heavily towards LGBT identity. [That would explain Ellen and Rachel. Ed.]

While only 2% of Boomers identify as queer, that number increases to 15.9% among Gen Z adults, which includes people ages 18 to 23. Similarly, political affiliation has a strong correlation to LGBT identity. 13% liberals identify as LGBT, compared with only 2.3% of those self-identifying as conservatives. 

As anyone who's been to a rally for Pete Buttigieg [Who he? Ed.] can attest, when one examines both age and political identification, young people who are politically liberal identify as LGBT at astronomic rates. Never before has such a large proportion of an American generation intended -- like Sheldon -- to  avoid a heterosexual relationship. And no generation has been so set on foregoing biological children, making this a change that threatens to reorient the central social experience of family in the United States.

Ellie Gardey, writing in The American Spectator, presents a theory that LGBT identity is socially conditioned, and that over 30% of young liberals adopt gay or transgender identities at least in part because those identities are celebrated within "young progressive" communities. 

Young liberals today treat LGBT identity as a protected class, grant greater social status to those who are gay and transgender, and even devote an entire month of the year -- Pride Month -- to parades and celebrations promoting LGBT identity. That's how young people are encouraged to form a lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender identity. 

And then there's the feminazis, rightly reviled by Gavin McInnes and Proud Boys. Liberal politics includes skepticism of the traditional role of women in marriage and motherhood, with a heavy admixture of man-hating. Men represent the patriarchy -- a society in which only men can be the leaders of commercial, political, religious, and cultural life. Resentment towards this leads women to seek new ways of life (read: lesbianism) where they are free from the "domination" of men.

In today's open, inclusive, diverse etc etc Western society, there's enormous pressure to conform. That explains the increasing numbers of young females who are identifying as transgender. A 2018 study from Brown University found that "rapid-onset gender dysphoria" among young women could be linked to friends who identify as LGBT. We're seeing a "social contagion", something that is copied by those exposed to abnormal behaviour.

But wait, there's more. Ms Gardey adds that  the queer agenda is pushed on young people by "celebrities" who promote bisexual or queer identities, and encourage their young fans to freely express their LGBT identity as well. They promote their queerness as a point of pride and receiving adulation from their fans and media attention for their identities.

We come now to the key point of Ms Gardey's analysis. The growing number of non-heterosexual people, makes LGBT identity and issues increasingly important politically. The Biden administration is already pushing the queer agenda through the Equality Act, recently passed by the House. 

If the Senate passes it without amendment, the Act would make sexual orientation and gender identity protected classes in the same way that race is protected. That would certainly please young progressives who want religious schools and adoption agencies to recognize same-sex marriage, transgender men to be free to use female bathrooms and compete on women’s sports teams, and doctors to be mandated to perform sex-reassignment surgeries.

Dear reader, if you think those things are morally wrong, if you're not looking forward to the triumph of the alphabet people, that's too bad, because the only hope now is that the Equality Act will be substantially amended (or even defeated) in the Senate. The chances of that happening are slim and none. (Lifetime pct .982.)

But take heart. Any Act of Congress can be repealed. Let the campaign to restor normalcy (and God's law) to America begin now!

VIDEO: Iowa Democrat shocked to learn Pete has same-sex partner!

A little vignette from Monday's Iowa Democratic (sic) caucuses has been floating around the Internet. Here you see a Christian lady who had signed a card for Pete Buttigieg asking for her vote back after learning to Mayor Pete has a husband.



The unnamed lady is quite right. The Bible says marriage is for a man and a woman. But Holy Scripture goes beyond that, condemning homosexual acts absolutely. Walt pointed this out in one of the first ever posts on WWW (9/7/09), "Homosexuality condemned in the Word of God". In spite of the efforts of the secular humanists and (alleged) Pope Francis to downplay the Scriptural injunction against this sin, the words of God remain unchanged.

With 71% of the Iowa Democratic caucus vote now reported, allegedly accurately, it appears that the "wife" ["partner", shurely! Ed.] of Chasten Glazen (aka Chasten Buttigieg) received 26.8% of the vote, just ahead of (((Bernie Sanders))) who got 25.2%. That's good for 10 delegates each to the nominating convention. Fauxcahontas got 18.4% of the votes, and four delegates. Old Joe Biden reportedly got 15.4%, and, errr, ZERO delegates.

That could all change. 29% of the votes cast are still unreported, as Dumbocrat minions go door-to-door across the frozen, snow-covered fields [Stop it! Ed.] to retrieve the paper ballots cast by caucus-goers. Whether the lady in the video ever got her vote back remains a mystery.

VIDEOS: Are your kids watching Sesame Street?

Sesame Street is good, right? Kids who watch it learn to count, they learn the alphabet, they learn to play nice with others... That was the case 50 years ago, when my kids watched. I watched too, and could do pretty good impressions of Grover (my favourite character), The Count and Bert and Ernie. All good clean fun, and educational too! What could go wrong?

Answer: plenty! Once the children's show got not just established but popular, the creators at the Children's Television Workshop (known now as Sesame Workshop) and their enablers at PBS became confident enough to start pushing their liberal, secular humanist, pro-queer agenda. Now the show is nothing but incessant propaganda for "diversity", "inclusiveness", and the current flavour of the month, gender ideology. Check this out.



Ah yes, some boys like to dress up as heroes, some like to play with dolls, some like to dress up as dolls. Right? Just in case the point was not clear, Sesame Street's producers announced this week that Billy Porter, a homosexual cross-dressing actor -- oh, he's black too! -- who is known to wear dresses on red carpets to posh Hollywood events, will be bringing his "fierce vibes" to the show, to do his bit to mold the minds of young viewers into the politically correct shape.

To the surprise of the show's creators, many fans have taken to social media to express outrage. According to Big League Politics, one parent said, "That is pushing [too] much at little children, it makes no sense, kids have [too] much on their little plates as it is. Why add more?"

Another viewer commented, "Sesame Street is for children. And diversity should be taught at a child appropriate level. A man in a dress is not child appropriate, in fact, it can be confusing. While striving to teach to 'be yourself' you're teaching boys who are masculine that it's not OK for them to be masculine."

Another Sesame Street fan asked, "As though our children are not confused enough. What is your agenda?" The agenda is clear enough. Sesame Street has been on the woke bandwagon for quite some time, pushing gender equality and gay marriage on children for years. It's all part of the whole pro-queer agenda. The victims are our children, who are subjected to this incessant propaganda and wind up confused and, all too often, abused. Watch this!



"Don't confuse me!" was posted over seven years ago, and the petition referred to at the end is long gone, but lots of people got the message. Lots of people, including (I hope) you, dear reader, know that the agenda being pushed by the "alphabet people" and their liberal enablers is morally wrong and a threat to our families. But we aren't standing up to them, and they're still at it, packing their fudge into the minds of kids who aren't young or sophisticated enough to know they're being groomed. Parents! Are you going to sit there and not do something, anything, to protest?

"What can I do?", I hear you ask. For starters, how about turning off the TV when Sesame Street comes on. There are many fine Christian TV shows for kids. UPDATED: Priest censured by bishop for warning vs Pride Month

Canuckistan's CTV News has a disturbing report today from Kingston ON, whose Archbishop, Most Rev. Michael Mulhall, has publicaly reprimanded Father Robert Chisholm, the pastor of St Gregory the Great Church in nearby Picton ON, for warning his flock in the parish bulletin that good Catholics should not participate in any Pride Parade or other Pride Month activities.

Why not? Because, wrote Fr Chisholm, homosexual activites are contrary to Christian Faith and morals.

In response to complaints from the LGBTQ2Setc Nazis, Abp Michael Mulhall released a statement, saying in part, "I did not sanction this message, and it does not reflect the spirit of accompanying charity and compassion that should always characterize our faith." The statement goes on to say, "The Archdiocese has spoken with the pastor of the parish. He regrets any hurt that his inappropriate comments have caused."

Abp Mulhall has obviously drunk deeply of the "church of accompaniment" flavour of Pope Francis' Flavoraid. Walt suggests, with all due respect, that the prelate read "What the Catholic Church teaches about homosexuality", WWW 12/6/19, particularly the following:
5. Since the homosexual "orientation" is intrinsically evil, any and all acts, whether sexual or not, by which a person knowingly chooses to move toward, cooperate with, reinforce, or act upon a homosexual "orientation" is itself a sin, either venial or mortal.
Which is pretty much what Fr Chisholm said. Who's right? You don't have to be the judge. God will take care of that.

What the Catholic Church teaches about homosexuality

This is further to today's earlier post about the Gay Mafia blocking attempts to address the issue of homosexuality in the clergy. Here is the theory -- emphasis intentional -- of what Catholics are supposed to believe about homosexuality. This is taken from "Satan's Ultimate Revolt Against God: Catholic Teaching on Homosexuality", by Father Michael Rodriguez, of the Diocese of El Paso TX, in the Fatima Crusader, Spring 2019.

The truth taught by Jesus Christ and His Church: (Catholic Teaching on Homosexuality)

1. All sexual acts, outside of natural marital relations open to life, are instrinsically evil and always objective mortal sins.

2. All unnatural sexual acts are intrinsically evil and always objective mortal sins.

3. All sexual acts between persons of the same gender are intrinsically evil and always objective mortal sins. Under no circumstances can they be approved.

The constant teaching of the Catholic Church, based on Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, is that "homosexual acts are [always] acts of grave depravity and intrinsically disordered" (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2357).

Leviticus 18:22, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination."

The four sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance are mortal sins which are especially heinous: willful murder (Genesis 4:10), the sin of Sodom (Genesis 18:20-21), oppression of the poor (Exodus 2:23), and defrauding labourers of their wages (James 5:4).

4. The homosexual "orientation" itself is intrinsically evil; it is objectively disordered (see CCC 2358), but it is not itself a sin, because sins are acts involving the intellect (knowing) and the will (choosing).

5. Since the homosexual "orientation" is intrinsically evil, any and all acts, whether sexual or not, by which a person knowingly chooses to move toward, cooperate with, reinforce, or act upon a homosexual "orientation" is itself a sin, either venial or mortal.

6. Since the homosexual "orientation" is intrinsically evil -- a moral disorder -- it is contgrary to the will and plan of God. Thus, persons with a homosexual "orientation" have a moral obligation to attempt to change, and so conform themselves to God's holy will, "male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:27)

7. With the help of God's grace all things are possible; this certainly includes conversion from a disordered homosexual "orientation".

8. All persons are creatures of God. No person is intrinsically evil, even if he or she has an intrinsically evil sexual "orientation".

9. All human persons deserve just and charitable treatment; this obviously includes those with a homosexual "orientation".

10. The promotion and spread of homosexuality is an abomination before God; this work of the devil causes the gravfest harm to marriages, families, the Church, and society in general.

11. The adoption of children, or the bearing of children through immoral means, by two persons of the same gender, is contrary to the will and plan of God.

12. Sinful behaviour, e.g. homosexual activity, should never be encouraged by any person or group, nor by society in general. Society has the right and the duty to enact laws wh ich discourage and punish sinful acts that cause serious harm to society.

When it comes to the Gay Mafia in the hierarchy of the Church, and those who tolerate its existence and influence (Hello, Jorge Bergoglio!), seems to me there's a cognitive dissonance -- something outta whack there. I would say "Practise what you preach!", except that almost no-one (except maybe Father Rodriguez) preaches about this any more. But God will not be mocked. A reckoning is coming....

UK pol says he can't be a "progressive liberal" and a Christian

This rather boyish-looking individual is Timothy "Tim" Farron. [Not "Timmy"?" Ed.] As you might guess from the pin-striped suit and the image of Westminster behind him, he is a British politician. He was, for a short time -- not long enough to get his English teeth fixed -- the leader of Britain's Liberal Democrat Party.

Mr Farron is also a Bible-believing Christian, which is the reason he gives for his recent resignation from his lofty position. (Not so lofty, really, considering that his party finished this month's election with but 12 of the Westminster Parliament's 650 seats.) He says his party's "progressive" platform, which he advocated during the election, is "no longer compatible with his Christian faith."

"To be a political leader, especially of a progressive liberal party in 2017, and to live as a committed Christian, to hold faithfully to the Bible’s teaching has felt impossible," Mr Farron explained. "we are kidding ourselves if we think we yet live in a tolerant, liberal society."

During the recent election campaign, the Liberal Democrat leader was repeatedly attacked -- sometimes by members of his own party -- for past statements indicating that he believed homosexual acts and abortion to be sinful. This, of course, is the opposite of the pro-queer agenda of the "progressives" and all right-thinking persons of the 21st century. Mr Farron waffled on the question after winning the party leadership in 2015. Asked repeatedly whether his Christian faith meant he believed homosexuality was a sin, he first prevaricated, then eventually said he did not think homosexuality was sinful.

Following the election, Lord Paddick, who is the UK's most senior openly gay police officer, resigned as the Liberal Democrats' home affairs spokesman over "concerns about the leader's views on various issues that were highlighted" during the election campaign. In his resignation statement, Mr Farron said he had found himself torn "between living as a faithful Christian and serving as a political leader." To make himself perfectly clear, he added, "I seem to be the subject of what I believe and who my faith in is."

Canadian Liberals (and other liberals) will be quick to urge the new leader of Canada's Conservative Party, Andrew Scheer, to follow in Mr Farron's footsteps down the straight and narrow path before his (Mr Scheer's) Roman Catholic faith -- already labelled "social conservatism" -- becomes and embarrassment to him.

How will Christians explain support for "gay marriage" to Jesus?

Let's start with a quick review of traditional Judeo-Christian teachings on homosexuality, as found in both the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible. The Good Book -- doesn't matter whether you consult the Douay-Rheims Version or the King James Version -- condemns homosexuality as clearly and plainly as it condemns murder, adultery, premarital sex, kidnapping, lying, idolatry and other grave sins. Sheikh Ahmed al Tayyab is the Grand Imam of Egypt's Al Azhar University, the world's leading institution of Sunni Islam. As a theologian, he has read the Bible as well as the Qu'ran. Speaking during a visit to Indonesia this week, he asked how Christian leaders who accept same-sex "marriage" will explain their position to Jesus Christ, should they be not to be sent to Hell without being given a chance to defend themselves.

Sheik al Tayyab didn't say that last part. I did. According to Agenzia Fides News, what the Grand Imam said was, "Unfortunately some Heads of Churches in the United States accept same-sex marriages. I wonder what is left of the Bible in those Churches. And what will they say in front of Jesus, peace be upon him."

The Muslim cleric was referring to "churches" such as the Presbyterian Church USA, which has recently changed its internal statutes in order to recognize same-sex "marriages". The world awaits the Presbyterian leaaders' response. So far all we hear is crickets.

Footnote: The self-styled Christian minister on the left in the picture, waving to the pro-LGBTQ2S crowds at Toronto's "Gay Pride Parade" a couple of years ago, is none other than the "Rev." Brent "Chicken" Hawkes, the presbyter of Metropolitan Community Church, "a vibrant, inclusive and progressive church, where all are welcome to attend." Mr. Hawkes presided over Canada's first gay wedding in 2001, four years before the Canadian government legalized "gay marriage". For this and other pro-queer activities, he received the Order of Canada.

But according to Nova Scotia police, Mr. Hawkes' doesn't just support homosexuals from the sidelines. Earlier this month he was charged with sexual assault of a male, an offence which allegedly occurred some 40 years ago. The old bugger has been charged with offences from that era’s Criminal Code: indecent assault on a male and gross indecency. He is to appear in court in Kentville NS on April 13th. "Smoke of Satan" blowing through Synod on the Family

Nearing death, and ruing his role in approving the modernist innovations and "reforms" of Vatican II, Pope Paul VI is famously (or infamously) said "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church".

Half a century later, the Archbishop of Astana (Kazakhstan), Most Rev. Tomash Peta, used the same phrase in addressing the Bishops' Synod on the Family, in progress [another word, perhaps? Ed.] at the Vatican. "During the Synod last year [2014]," the prelate said, "'the smoke of Satan' was trying to enter the aula of Paul VI."

On its website, Voice of the Family, a coalition of pro-life groups, published the text of His Excellency's remarks, with his permission, under the headline "We can perceive the 'infernal smoke' in synod interventions".

What is "the smoke of Satan"? Archbishop Peta identifies it with "the proposal to admit to Holy Communion those who are divorced and living in new civil unions; the affirmation that cohabitation is a union which may have in itself some values; the pleading for homosexuality as something which is allegedly normal."

"Some synod fathers [he added] have not understood correctly the appeal of Pope Francis for an open discussion and started to bring forward ideas which contradict the bi-millennial Tradition of the Church, rooted in the Eternal Word of God. Unfortunately, one can still perceive the smell of this 'infernal smoke' in some items of the Instrumentum Laboris [working document] and also in the interventions of some synod fathers this year.

"To my mind, the main task of a Synod consists in indicating again to the Gospel of the marriage and of the family and that means to the teaching of Our Saviour. It [must not be] allowed to destroy the fundament -– to destroy the rock."
