President Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum -- Klaus Schwab's talking shop at Davos -- got a lot of attention. So did Canuck Prime Minister Mark Carney's frank admission that the liberal powers that be were going to create a New World Order. (Yeah, he really did say the quiet part out loud.) 

But one speech went largely unnoticed. It was made by Howard Lutnick, the US Secretary of Commerce. In just about two minutes flat, he spoke the truth to power. Thanks and a tip o' the toque to Agent 6 for sending us this.

Howie got it right! The globalism of George Soros, Klaus Schwab (and, yes, the former Canadian PM who is now the armpiece of Katy Perry) is dead... and President Donald J. Trump is the guy wot killed it!

But, but, but... what about what Marx Carnage said? Mr Lutnick today called his speech "political noise," and criticized Canada's recent deal with China. "Give me a break," Mr Lutnick said on Bloomberg TV. "They have the second best deal in the world and all I got to do is listen to this guy whine and complain." 

The US Commerce Secretary warned that Ottawa's recent deal with China could upend CUSMA/USMCA negotiations, which have already started ahead of the mandatory review this year. That deal will see China lower agricultural tariffs in exchange for Canada opening some market access for Chinese electric vehicles. Mr Lutnick said Canada is "playing with a set of rules that they haven't really thought through."

It is now less than 24 hours before Canadians go to the polls to elect a new (Conservative) government (as Walt recommends) or re-elect a tired, old (Liberal) one. 

Walt apologize for not having written more about the 2025 election. It seemed as if not many of our readers were interested. Sleepwalking towards a fate worse than becoming the 51st state. Mr Spitters is not just a CFP®  but, as his writings reveal, a gold bug, but that's OK because in his article, he is right on target about the Liberals' "five-year plan of deception, offshore manoeuvres, and political installation executed without consent to erase Canadian sovereignty." President Trump has said that the point of all these tariffs on foreign-made goods is to not only address unfairness in the global trading system, but to bring jobs and factories back to America. Soon (he says) there will be lots of good jobs in factories like those to be found in places like Xinjiang province, in the Worker's Paradise that is China.

What would winning the trade war with China look like? Something like this, perhaps?

 

Yes, that's Chinese Communist propaganda, but it has got a lot of people thinking... even the Donald, who yesterday announced that smartphones and computers will be exempt from reciprocal tariffs, including the 125% levies imposed on Chinese imports. 

The apparent flip-flop comes after concerns from Amerian tech companies that the price of such gadgets could skyrocket, because many of them are made in China or use Chinese-made parts. The exemptions also include other electronic devices and components, including semiconductors, solar cells and memory cards. 

Some estimates suggested iPhone prices and other electronic goods in America would have gone up three times if the costs of the tariffs had been passed on to consumers. The US of A is a major market for iPhones, while Apple accounted for more than half of its smartphones sales last year. As much as 80% of Apple's iPhones intended for sale in America are made in China, with the remaining 20% made in India. 

Along with fellow smartphone giants such as Samsung, Apple has been trying to diversify its supply chains to avoid over-reliance on China in recent years. India and Vietnam emerged as frontrunners for additional manufacturing hubs. As tariffs took effect, Apple reportedly looked to speed up and increase its production of India-produced devices in recent days. 

President Trump had planned a host of steep tariffs on countries around the world set to go into effect this week. But on Wednesday, he quickly reversed course, announcing that he would implement a 90-day pause for countries hit by higher US tariffs - except China - whose tariffs he raised to 145%.

Trump said the Chinese tariff increase was because of the country's readiness to retaliate with its own 84% levy on US goods. In a dramatic change of policy, Trump said all countries that had not retaliated against US tariffs would receive a reprieve – and only face a blanket US tariff of 10% – until July. The White House then said the move was a negotiating tactic to extract more favourable trade terms from other countries.

Says Walt (pulling at the outside corners of his eyes to make them look kinda slanty), rotsa ruck with that.

Canadian voters: Don't say you weren't warned!

Dear Canadian friends, please don't be snowed [Geddit? Ed.] by all the paid advertising -- 

and propagands from the lickspittle media, who are also bought and paid for -- about the new Dear Leader of the Liberal Party and unelected Prime Minister of Canada. 

His apologists are trying to paint him as a soft, sensible, middle-of-the-road statesman, an ultra-nice Canuck kid with no agenda other than saving the Great No-longer-white North from the evil Orange Man. Walt calls BS on all that!

The truth about Mr Carnage's plans to finish the job started by the Trudeaus (père et fils) and make Canada a part of the Davos gang's New World Order are to be found in his own words in his book Values.

Values reads like a sermon from a high priest of globalism... which, come to think of it, it is. It's "polished, preachy, and packed with ideas that should send shivers down the spine of anyone who cares about Canada’s economy, especially Western energy producers.

Canada's "new" WEF-backed Prime Minister

Walt was in Canada over the weekend for the coronation of Mark Canada as successor to Blackie McBlackface as leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, and therefore as Prime Minister of Canada. 

That's the way the parliamentary system works. If you lead the government party, you're the Prime Minister, regardless of the fact that you've never been elected to anything. A safe seat in the House of Commons can be opened up for you later. Worked (twice!) for William Lyon Mackenzie King, who "loved his mother like anything / kept her tied up with a piece of string" (very old skipping rhyme).

The Canadian Broadcorping Castration, the state-owned broadcaster, wasted nearly three hours of listeners' (Sid & Doris Bonkers, of Dildo NL) time with a series of talking heads trying unsuccessfully to create an air of suspense, followed by a 45-minute history of Canada recited by former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, who was there for most of it. 

Then the final result of the leadership "contest" was announced. Mr Carney garnered a mere 85% of the votes cast by the party faithful. He promised to do better next time, his goal being to get 99%, as they do in socialist democracies. It wasn't a surprise. Everyone knew that the former Governor of the Bank of Canada and Bank of England (successively) had the puck nailed to his stick by his friends in the global elite.

Mr Carney then attempted to deliver a "fighting speech", without revealing when the fight would start. His oration, part of which was delivered in halting French, consisted of platitudes and hockey metaphors -- "Elbows up!" -- but was devoid of any substance, such as a plan to get Canada out of the trade war.

There was no indication that Mr Carney intends to do anything other than stay the course with the globalist-environmentalist agenda outlined in his (?) book, Value(s) [sic], published in 2021, which has been praised by liberal, one-world eco-wienies across Canada and the European Disunion. One of them is seen here driving Mr Carney (in an EV, no doubt) to a meeting of the rulers of the New World Order.

One contrarian is terrified, not thrilled, by Mr Carney's agenda for Canada. That would be Dr Jordan Peterson, who, the day before the coronation, wrote "Mark Carney doesn't value a prosperous Canada", National Post, 8/3/25. Subtitle: "This would-be planetary saviour has no respect for free markets." It's a long article, worth reading in its entirety, but these excerpts will give you the gist of it. Dr Peterson's words are in purple, and those of Mr Carney (quotes from his book) are in bright Democrat blue. Any emphasis is Walt's.

It is most definitely the case — and this is a fundamental conservative or even classic liberal conviction — that free societies and markets operate within a broader framework of values. In the West, for better or worse (and certainly for comparative better) that framework is Judeo-Christian, religious and cultural in its essence — a framework that has established the principles of "self-evidence" referred to so famously by the authors and signatories of the American Declaration of Independence.

These include the propositions that all people have intrinsic worth, made as they are in the image of God; that each person owes all others the due that such worth necessitates, including the responsibility to trade in goods, ideas, cooperation and competition, honestly and fairly, and with an eye to mutual success; and that all of us, our leaders included (and perhaps first and foremost) must pay obeisance to what is truly transcendent and divine.

This is the framework that Carney purports to replace, even though it is not clear that he understands this, or that he has developed any understanding whatsoever of the culture he wants to reshape from first principles.

What are his suggestions, regarding such replacement? This is where the rubber hits the road or, more accurately, where the train flies off the track ... Carney betrays his alliance with the worst particularized ideas of the last twenty or thirty years, and the even worse generally radical intellectual presumptions of the last century.

“Our goal has been to put in place the information, tools and markets so that every financial decision takes climate change into account — to create a financial system in which a company’s contributions to climate change and climate solution are fundamental determinants of its value. So that value reflects values. 

"At COP26 in Glasgow, we delivered twenty-four major reforms to transform the information, tools and markets at the heart of finance. These include climate stress testing, net-zero transition plans and clear, comparable and decision-useful climate disclosure so that financial markets can manage risks and seize opportunities in the climate transition."

The consortium has stated that there "must be an average 28 per cent reduction in the number of flights across C40 cities." How might that be enforced? No more flights for the ordinary person (an overstatement: the C40 nature-worshippers will allow the peasants one short-haul flight every three years). They also mention "reducing and eventually nearly eliminating the need for car ownership." 

Ever wonder where the electricity for your soon-to-be mandatory electric car will come from, given the woeful inadequacy in that regard of the current grid, and the impossibility of rectifying that, before gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles are banned? No matter! There is no reason to presume, as you have so far, that you are entitled to a vehicle of your very own. Problem solved! 

And even if you are one of the fortunate few with a car — serious limitations will be imposed on the number of miles your peasant hide is allowed to travel, with equally serious restraints on velocity and road access.

Make no mistake about it, people. Those who promise, like Carney, to save the planet, while waving evidence of its forthcoming demise over your heads like the sword of Damocles, will use the purported seriousness of the crisis to rule over every conceivable aspect of your life — for the moral reasons of “value” that cannot be properly computed, in Carney’s estimation, by the flawed free market system. 

 A radical decrease in the availability of meat and dairy — preferably a complete turn to a plant and even perhaps insect-based diet, as mused by the WEF. Three new articles of clothing a year, maximum.

There is virtually no bad idea recently promoted by the top-down globalists (as alluded to earlier) that Carney has not championed — worse; not merely championed, as an acolyte or ally, as in the case of the hapless narcissist he is attempting to replace, our very own Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau was little more than a globalist shill, shiny and attractive though he may have been. Carney is no such mean thing; no mere WEF infiltrator. He is instead a veritable globalist author, master-planner and leader, as he says (insists upon) himself:

Value(s) is, in truth, one of the shallowest books I have ever read, and I have read many, both shallow and deep. It contains no original ideas whatsoever, while the ideas it does contain, however few in number they may admittedly be, are literally the worst that have been formulated by the worst of thinkers in the last few generations; even in the last century or two.

Mark Carney has failed, therefore — and dismally; spectacularly — in his attempts as a thinker, as well as an international leader. His practical multinational ventures have been recently revealed as the empty vessels they most truly are. 

In closing, a warning to Canadians, hoodwinked into believing that Carney’s much-vaunted international experience makes him capable; makes him someone able, even less convincingly, to stand up to our erratic American compatriots to the south. Mark Carney, formerly of the Bank of England, has the patina of foreign-bestowed competence. In truth, however, he is a man with all the flaws of Trudeau, and that’s saying something. 

However, in his admitted networking, managerial and administrative prowess he presents far more danger. Our hapless previous Dear Leader was at least hamstrung in his pretension by his incompetence. Carney is as addled in his values as his predecessor, but much more efficient and unwavering in his implementation.

If you don’t want Canada to be a self-immolating martyr-state, subject to the whims of an economic order increasingly dominated by the coal-burning titans of India, China and the rest of the BRICS; if you don’t want your every move and every decision evaluated by the top-down tyrants of the new global order — then you bloody well better think twice about who you are going to vote for when push comes to shove for Canadians in the next six months. 

Whatever Canada’s values might be, they best not be the shibboleths of false virtue, intellectual pretension, and well-camouflaged oh-so-virtuous totalizing tyranny put forth by the newly coronated dear leader of the appalling Liberal party.

The lists have closed. There are seven -- count `em 7 -- deluded Liberal dwarfs who want to lead their party to certain electoral defeat, and have somehow scratched up the 50,000 Northern Peso entry fee. To stay in the race, they will have to come up with another C$50,000 -- $35,000 in real money -- by next week and another C$250,000 after that.

The three leading Prime Minister wannabes are (in order of likely finish -- you read it here first!): Mark Carney (pictured below), Chrystia Freeland (Trudeau's bumgirl), and, in show position, Karina Gould, former government house leader who was forced to read Ms Freeland's latest economic mis-statement after the latter declined to do so.

The remaining four are (in no particular order): Chandra Arya (featured in WWW video, 9/1/25); Jaime Battiste, a certified and certifiable Indian First Nations person; Frank Baylis, an anglophone Quebecker who actually knows how to run a business; and Ruby "Slippers" Dhalla, who represents the Ontario riding of Bramladesh. Walt's advice: Bet the exactor with Carney + any of these four. 

 

Why Mark Carney has thrown his top hat in the ring after denying any interest for many moons is a mystery. Where his entry fee comes from, along with a massive advertising budget (the Liberal Party imposes no limits on such) is, of course, no mystery at all. Walt's man in Ottawa says he was put up to it by George Soros and Klaus Schwab, since he is a former governor of two national banks (Canada and the UK), an approved enviro-wienie, and a true believer in the New World Order.

Francis seems desperate. A case in point: With the world teetering on the edge of war, Pope Francis is putting his paranoia on full display by ordering Archbishop Vigano to come to Rome to face charges of schism. 

Yes, you read that right! He’s not trying to excommunicate MISTER Ted McCarrick – one of the worst sexual predators in Church history. Nope! Francis is going after the whistle blower. You just can’t make this stuff up! 

And, finally, with nothing better to do, the obsessed (with traditional Catholics) pontiff finds himself at the center of swirling rumors that claim Team Francis is about to launch a "Final Solution" to permanently ban the Latin Mass. Is there anything to the rumors, and what’s really behind this Vatican witch hunt?

Michael Matt, editor of the Remnant newspaper, says 2024 is going to be "hell on earth!" Why? Because the one-worlders, Communists, and lunatic left realize that people are waking up to their plans for the New World Order, and are starting to resist. 

That's what we've seen in recent elections in Europe where the right is resurgent. We see it also in the Church, in the open opposition to the New World Religion of "Pope" Francis. The godless revolution of the one-worlders is failing. 

They know it and they're afraid, desperately afraid. So much do they fear that, come November, Americans will vote to join the reistance, that Tucker Carlson, for one wouldn't be surprised if they try to assassinate President Trump, which is starting to look like the only way they can keep him off the ballot. Would you be surprised? Look what almost happened to Ronald Reagan.

In this editiion of the Remnant Underground, Michael Matt takes a look at the extraordinary turn of events whereby globalism is suddenly taking so much blowback that the entire house of cards may fall in the near future. The triumph of the New World Order is not inevitable after all!
 

In the Catholic Church, for example, with its globalist pope (so he claims) at the helm, it is now manifestly obvious that not since the Avignon Captivity of the Fourteenth Century, has there been greater hierarchical resistance to a reigning pontiff.

The hierarchical firepower being amassed against Francis right now could lead to an imperfect council or some other form of authoritative judgment against his derelict pontificate.

Obviously, this is precisely what Cardinal “Tucho” is worried about, which is why he attempted to double down on Fiducia Supplicans this week, which only made matters worse for Francis. Michael reminds us that, due to the history-changing nature of this moment, lay Catholics need to make sure the good bishops find in us the loyal defenders we've always promised them we’d be if they would raise their voices in resistance. 

Also... President Putin’s New Year’s message to the people of Russia is probably the most nationalistic address any superpower leader has delivered since the inaugural speech of Donald Trump. Now what are builders of the New World Order going to do? 

No matter how you slice it, or whose side you're on, 2024 promises to be a year of cataclysmic change... for better... or for worse. Whose side are you on? The side of evil, personified in so many of our world "leaders" or on the side of the angels, like those Mr Matt talks about in this video.

These are the last acts of desperate (and desperately misguided) men, facing the decline and fall of their Brave New World. They've overstayed their welcome and overplayed their hand. All that is needed to consign them to the ash-heap of history is for us -- lovers of tradition, freedom, and Christian civilzation -- keep resisting the secular humanist overlords to their faces.

It was kind of a boring day for yr obdt servant. Only 32 days until the mid-terms and all is (more or less) quiet on the political scene. American meeja are preoccupied with Ian, which is only right. So I've been surfing the net and came across the following item, which I repost, verbatim, from Canada's Global (sic) TV News.

To set this up, I need to explain that the Canucks used to call the equivalent of the US State Department the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. When Blackie McBlackface came to power in 2015, the name was changed to "Global Affairs Canada", a clear statement of his support for George Soros' globalist agenda. 

Like all the other departments of the Liberal government, Global Affairs pays lip service to equity, inclusiveness, diversity, yada yada yada. But as with snivel servants, especially political appointees, everywhere, the performance rarely lives up to the rhetoric.

Spoiler alert! You have to read through to the fourth paragraph to discover the gender of the "executive" found guilty of numerous acts of workplace harassment. Once you know that, you'll know why the "executive" was promoted, rathen than fired.  

The watchdog for the federal public service has ruled that Global Affairs Canada committed "gross mismanagement" in the way it dealt with complaints about a senior employee accused of throwing objects, mocking colleagues and even pushing and slapping someone. 

The report from Joe Friday, the public sector integrity commissioner, tabled in Parliament Thursday said an earlier internal investigation by the department also found the executive director yelled in the workplace and once introduced a team member as a "terrorist colleague." The report concluded the department mishandled its response to the complaints, including by promising an action plan that was never put into place.

It said Global Affairs Canada promoted the executive, despite continued insults against staff, including comments about someone’s weight and once referring to a training session as a “concentration camp” while speaking with a Jewish colleague. The report said the executive testified during the investigation by the public sector integrity commissioner that she took the earlier findings seriously and was working hard to change, but the probe examined evidence suggesting the behaviour had continued.

The executive could not be reached for comment Thursday, and a man who answered the phone at her home said she is out of the country. Global Affairs Canada responded to the report by saying it will launch a fresh disciplinary process, assess the work climate in the branch involved and reinforce ethics training. "We are committed to working diligently to implement the recommendations that will assist in improving workplace health and well-being," spokeswoman Anabel Lindblad wrote Thursday. 

She said that means making sure staff undergo mandatory training and that follow policies on respect, whether they’re in Canada or abroad. "Global Affairs Canada strives to create a culture that protects psychological health, safety and well-being in all aspects of the workplace through collaboration, inclusivity and respect. That includes avoiding hateful and antisemitic comments in all circumstances."

UPDATE (and WOW!) ADDED at 1830: Ed. no sooner posted this than we got a call from Agent 3, who said that for some reason, Global News didn't give the name of the "executive". But the National Post did! To wit: Latifa Belmahdi subjected employees and co-op students to years of  "repetitive and sustained" degrading comments and insults, physical abuse and inappropriate jokes, report finds. 

Imagine that! Now all we need is something like a photo so we can determine which boxes on the diversity checklist -- race? religion? -- were checked when Ms Belmahdi was hired. I wonder... if "the executive" had been a straight white male (said to be an endangered species at Global Affairs), would he have been treated differently? Errr, could be!

Note from Ed.: "Joe Friday" is really the name of the investigator who blew the whistle of the unnamed executive's misconduct. Walt wouldn't make up something like that! Mr Friday's rank was not given.

Mother Miriam calls Synod on Synodality "deceptive" and "a sham"

Ed. here. Walt is recovering nicely but doesn't feel up to writing. so we are reposting, from LifeSite News, the text of a recent episode of  "Mother Miriam Live", in which Mother Miriam warned the faithful about the Pope of Woke's worldwide "Synod on Synodality". She said the Vatican may seek to use the programme to overhaul the Church in ways contrary to the Faith. 

Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, as she is now called, is known to many in the Catholic world. Born and raised in a Jewish home in Brooklyn, Rosalind Moss embraced Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish people as an adult.

The longtime Benedictine nun and Catholic apologist declared that she will not participate in the Synod, describing it as "a sham" and a "plot" and linking it to a broader push for global control.

The Synod on Synodality, launched by Pope Francis last year, is currently in the diocesan phase, requiring bishops to hold "listening sessions" to gather opinions of Catholics and non-Catholics alike and discern "how God is calling us to be as the Church in the third millennium." [Click here to see actual video clips from one of these Kumbaya-fests, held recently in a diocese in Newfoundland. Ed.] 

According to the Synod handbook, local responses will then be "synthesized" by the Vatican as the basis of working documents for the Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023. The initiative has repeatedly been embroiled in controversy, including over dissident affirmations of homosexuality and suggestions of female ordination by Synod leaders. 

"I don't believe that those handling the Synod could care what anybody says in a listening session or what their feedback is," Mother Miriam said. "They already have their plan. They’re doing this to make us feel that we are part of it and that what they're doing is the majority opinion, even if it's not ours. 

"It's absolutely false," she continued. "It’s completely deceptive. Our opinion, our listening has nothing to do with their plans. We're pawns in their program, and they could care less."

Mother Miriam noted that she wasn't speaking of individual bishops or dioceses, but of "those at the Vatican who have perpetrated this.... So, I would not or be a part of a listening session," she recommended, "and if you do, don't be deceived that what you think or anyone or anyone else thinks is going to have any bearing on the corruption being spread on us throughout the world."

She also predicted that the Vatican would use the Synod to attempt radical changes unsupported by faithful Catholics and point to the listening sessions as justification. "I don't believe that their listening sessions or our responses to them are going to have anything to do with what the Church, the Vatican, is going to put on us," she said. "Absolutely not. I think it's a ploy to make us think that this was the response of Catholics, and it is not."

Heterodox Cardinal Mario Grech, the Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops and an outspoken backer of the LGBT movement, has hinted at as much, saying that the Synod on Synodality will help to "find truth" and inform possible doctrinal changes by Pope Francis. 

His under-secretary, Sr. Nathalie Becquart, has asserted that the Pope intends to "disconnect participation in the leadership of the Church from ordination" and "get rid of a clerical church" [!!!] through the initiative. 

And Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, relator general of the Synod, recently claimed that the Church’s millennia-old condemnation of sodomy is now "false" because "the sociological-scientific foundation of this teaching is no longer correct" -- comments that Australian Cardinal George Pell has called "explicit heresy."

VIDEO: Michael Matt's take on Russia's invasion of Ukraine

In this morning's post, I quoted an e-mail received from Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, in which he comments on the Vatican's annouoncement that Pope Francis will, on March 25th, consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He wonders, as do Walt and many others, whether Francis will effect the Consecration in the manner requested by Our Lady of Fatima, so as to obtain the conversion of Russia aqnd bring the world a period of peace. 

A day before the Vatican's announcement, Mr Matt recorded "Crisis in Ukraine: What's Really Going On" - the latest episode of The Underground, posted on Remnant TV. Please listen carefully to the caveat at the beginning of this video. Mr Matt is not for Putin or Russia, nor is he against the Ukrainian people (although their government is another matter). What Mr Matt is against is the suicidal rush to start a war between Russia and the West! Listen up!

IMHO (and that of Dr Ron Paul and many others), we must not allow our liberal politicians and their lickspittle media to lead us into the trap set for us by the Soros-led globalist elites. The way to help the Ukrainian people is not by attacking the Russians and starting a nuclear* war. 

By all means do whatever you can to help Ukrainians resist the Russian invaders, and survive the humanitarian disaster now unfolding. But don't make things worse by waging war against Russia on Ukrainian soil. There's an African saying: when two elephants fight, the grass gets trampled.

If you love your country as much as the Ukrainians love theirs, pray for peace. And if, as we believe, the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary can bring that sbout, pray that Pope Francis does it, and does it in the manner the Blessed Virgin Mary requested. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

* Footnote: I don't like to be that guy [Go on! You love it! Ed.] but can the USA's ambassador to the United Nations not learn how to pronounce "nuclear" correctly? It's not "nu-cu-ler", the way Homer Simpson says it, but "nu-cle-ar". Clear?

REVEALED: The link between freedom convoys, digital IDs, Build Back Better, the World Economic Forum and the New World Order

Walt is grateful, really grateful. to Agent 6, who sent us the link to "Trudeau Reversal Motive Surfaces", an article on the Last Refuge website, which explains the sudden revocation by Just In Trudeau, Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, of his invocation of the draconian Emergencies Act. What follows are excerpts from the article, with a few thoughts from YVT interspersed.

Or perhaps you are blocked from entry because you forgot to change the oil on the leased vehicle you drive, and Toyota has this weird agreement with some retail consortium. You head to the oil change place that conveniently pops up in the citizen compliance App –it’s only two blocks away– they clear the alert after they do the oil change, and you are gateway compliant again. 

Missed your booster shot? Vote for the wrong candidate? Attend, or donate to, a trucker protest? We're sorry citizen, your bank account is frozen until your compliance is restored… please proceed to the nearest vaccination office as displayed conveniently on your cell phone screen to open access to all further gates (checkpoints)… tap to continue!

Sadly, this is not something made up by the People's Cube, although it might well have been. This is what could happen once the all-powerful nanny state gets us all registered, identified and controlled by means of digital ID. And as the use of facial recognition technology -- already employed by your friendly police force -- becomes more widespread, they won't even need physical ID, like a plastic card, or a chip implanted in your forehead! A quick scan of your phiz will tell Big Brother everything about you.

Blackie McBlackface and his fragrant sidekick Chrystia Freeland gave the game away. When they used the Emergencies Act to size (read: steal) the bank accounts of the Freedom Convoy Truckers and their supporters,  they essentially broke the financial code of Omerta, by highlighting how easy it is for government to seize your bank accounts, credit cards, retirement accounts, insurance, mortgages, loan access and cut you off from money, all without due process. Their precipitate and unwarranted action shows clearly what could happen if mandatory digital IDs are put in place.

A promotional video from the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) helps to neatly connect all the dots about why the Liberal government made such a quick reversal in their bank asset seizures. It was almost certainly contact from the World Economic Forum to Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland that triggered the change in position. 

When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced they would use the Emergencies Act to target the financial support systems, banks and accounts of the people who were protesting against COVID mandates, they not only undermined the integrity of the Canadian banking system, but also inadvertently stuck a wrench into the plans of the World Economic Forum and the collaborative use of the Canadian Bankers Association to create a digital ID. Dear Canadian readers (and others who think they are "free"), what do you think of this? Are you ready to be "authenticated"?

If the Canadian government can arbitrarily block citizens' access to their banking institution without any due process, what does that say about the system the Canadian Banking Association was putting into place as part of their Digital ID network? If the CBA digital identity were in place, the same people targeted by Trudeau's use of the Emergencies Act would have their entire identity blocked by the same government measures. 

The motive for the Davos gang -- the World Economic Forum -- and the CBA to immediately reach out to Trudeau and Freeland and tell them to back off their plan is crystal clear. That is almost certainly why Freeland appeared so admonished, shocked and incapable of getting her footing when the big reversal was announced, and why the Canadian government simultaneously informed Parliament they were unfreezing the bank accounts.

As Walt suggested in "Trudeau caves! = We ARE winning!", 24/2/22, the misgovernment of Mr Socks (who in turn is controlled by Mr Butts) is in full damage control mode, and very grateful to Vlad "The Impaler" Putin for invading the Ukraine and distracting Canadians' attention from their colossal blunder.

It all makes sense now -- all of it. The government leaders who take their instructions from the multinational corporations in charge of the World Economic Forum, which is to say almost all of them, are so entrenched in their need to use COVID-19 as the pry bar for the Build Back Better agenda, they simply cannot let it go. 

Without COVID-19, they can't keep the vaccination push. Without the vaccination push, they can’t keep the vaccine passport process in place. Without the vaccination passport registration process to track and monitor human behaviour, the governing authorities cannot fulfill the mission of a comprehensive digital identity and social credit (a Chinese concept) tracking system. 

Everything they seek is contingent upon keeping the premise of COVID-19 alive. It is not accidental the World Economic Forum is at the epicentre of this. The architects of the Build Back Better "plan" (Hello, Mr Socks! Hello, Crazy Joe!)  are guiding various governments on ways to create efficient registration and compliance systems, i.e. ways to require citizens to prove their vaccinated and compliant status. 

Be afraid. Be very afraid! But resist! Stand up and fight to keep what little freedom you have left! Keep on truckin'!

VIDEO: "The Catastrophe of Canada": Jordan Peterson & Rex Murphy

On Saturday, while cops imported from Toronto, Vancouver and elsewhere in Canada were attacking peaceful protesters in Ottawa, Canada, Dr Jordan Peterson got together with fellow-Canuck author and pundit Rex Murphy to discuss the most recent anti-democratic actions of the Liberal government of Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface.

Those actions included the arresting of protestors -- see footnote -- and the freezing (read: seizure or theft) of the bank accounts of Canadians suspected of participating in the protests. I gave an example of the latter in my introduction to Michael Matt's latest video, posted yeseterday.

The most significant part of this hour-long interview, IMHO, is the discussion (and proof) of collusion between Trudeau's misgovernment and Canada's controlled media. Make no mistake, Canada's "legacy media" are (with the possible exception of the National Post) bought and owned by the Liberals. 

Not just the CBC -- funded by taxpayers' money -- but the privately owned media, notably the Toronto (Red) Star, which Dr Peterson says has just asked for a $60,000,000 handout from Trudeau because it (gasp!) lost money last year! And then there's Canadian banks, heretofore regarded as safe and sensible custodians of your money -- "you" including not just Canucks but foreigners who entrust their funds to all banks regulated and controlled by the Ottawa government. 

When ordered by the government to freeze the accounts of the supporters of the Freedom Convoy (and anyone else the Liberals don't like), the Canadian banks caved without a whimper, without any regard to Section 8 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which supposedly protects Canadians from unreasonable search and seizure. Shameful!

Footnote: Ontario's Special Investigations Unit, which is charged with finding police not responsible for any injuries or deaths resulting from "interactions with police", is looking into the "incident" in which a Toronto mounted policeman -- well, his horse, at least -- trampled on an old lady with a walker. They are also "investigating" reports that Vancouver cops, in Ottawa for the occasion, fired "non-lethal rounds" and pepper spray at the peaceful demonstrators. Walt predicts that the cops involved will be found to be acting in self-defence against "white supremacists waving Confederate flags and shouting hateful things." [Like "Fuck Trudeau!"? Ed.] Lifetime pct .982.

YouTube says he was "violating World Health Organization guidelines on social distancing and self-isolation." See if you can figure out which part of the video they're referring to. Was it:

* the clip of Justin Trudeau's brother exposing the Mr Socks as a globalist stooge of Davos? 

* his full-throated support of the Canadian truckers' Freedom Convoy, now in its second week of peaceful protest in Ottawa?

As sun rises over the Shadow Laurier [Ed., please check spelling], tens of thousands of Canadian truckers and their supporters are still thronging downtown Ottawa, demanding freedom from control by the nanny state. 

So far the demonstration has been peaceful. The most the state-owned CBC could find to say against it was that (gasp!!!) a Confederate flag was seen! 

Support, both moral and financial, has been pouring in from outside the borders of the Great No-longer-white North. In this special edition of "The Remnant Underground", Michael Matt puts the massive rally for freedom into context, as it becomes a worldwide symbol of freedom and lockdown fatigue.

As the Prime Minister of Denmark takes a page out of Boris Johnson's playbook and lifts all mandates in that country, Mr Matt talks about the possibility that the globalist narrative is running out of diesel fuel. And if that happens, The Great Reset is DOA. 

Near the end of this episode, you'll see a touching montage of Canadian children thanking the truckers for standing for them, which more or less says it all. This protest really is "for the children", so let those truckers roll! 10-4!

Elites Are Destroying America with Globalism, Leftism, and Tribalism That's the headline atop Breitbart's two-hour interview with American conservative commentator, classicist, and military historian Victor Davis Hanson. In examining how America is being undermined by a modern globalist aristocracy, Mr Hanson draws on analyses in his latest book, The Dying Citizen: How Progressive Elites, Tribalism, and Globalization Are Destroying the Idea of America. 

Mr Hanson warns of lessening governmental accountability to citizens via the dissolution of American citizenship. The concept of citizenship, he adds is an essential component of Western civilization.

In his book, Mr Hanson argues that the concept of the "citizen" is historically rare. Yet it was among America's most valued ideals for over two centuries. But without shock treatment, American citizenship as we have known it may soon vanish. 

The historical forces that led to this crisis (Mr Hanson writes) are:

* the evisceration of the middle class over the last fifty years, which has made many Americans dependent on the federal government

* open borders, which  have undermined the idea of allegiance to a particular place

* identity politics have eradicated our collective civic sense of self, and

* a top-heavy administrative state which endangers personal liberty, along with 

* formal efforts to weaken the Constitution.

As in the revolutionary years of 1848, 1917, and 1968, 2020 ripped away our complacency about the future. But in the aftermath, Mr Hanson believes, we as Americans can rebuild and recover what we have lost. The choice is ours.

"This is fun!", Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, returns to YouTube (!) just in time to celebrate "The Great Reject" -- the response of ordinary Americans, the real people, to President Brandon's left-liberal policies and politics. "The lunatics of Davos," he says, "have clearly become a political liability for a whole host of small-minded Democratic politicians...whose political future has now become understandly more important to them than the globalist ideology these whack-jobs -- Gates, Soros, Schwab and the rest of these nutters!" 

In this latest episode of "The Underground" from Remnant TV,  Mr Matt analyses this week's big wins for pro-life, pro-God, and pro-American politicians. Will Tuesday's rejection of the Democrats and their extreme liberal ideologies carry over into the 2022 mid-term elections? Michael is cautiously optimistic.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! What (Mr Matt asks) do Elon Musk, Bill Maher, and Greta Thunberg have in common? They’re all fed-up Leftist influencers, who are obviously not going to go down with the USS Biden. Are the wheels coming off The Great Reset even before liftoff?

Meanwhile, inside the Vatican, the situation goes from Woke to Weird. On October 28th, the Cardinals responsible for promoting Christian unity called on bishops to "listen to non-Catholic Christians" during the latest synod, which some have already dubbed "Vatican III".

It's been a while since we heard from Michael MattMichael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper. In this just-released video, Mr Matt explains how the "Build Back Better" sabotage of America is directly impacting deliveries and construction work on their new Remnant TV studio project. Lumber, supplies, even food is in short supply all across the country, as some 70 cargo ships off the coast of California are not allowed to unload their cargo.

What's going on? What we're experiencing, Mr Matt argues, is the intentionally orchestrated collapse the American economy! That includes wrecking small business (because it provides independence from government), paying Americans not to work, opening the borders and -- last but not least -- putting a "total buffoon" in the Oval Office.

If they're going to "build back better", the globalist One-Worlders will first have to destroy everything in the US of A, including the once greatest healthcare system in the world.
