VIDEO: Is there any point in fighting back? Michael Matt answers

We received an e-mail just now from our old friend Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, letting us know that he's posted a new video on Remnant TV.

In this edition of The Remnant Underground, Michael explains why the FBI is so obsessed with the Latin Mass movement. Far from fading into obscurity, the Traditional Catholic movement is the talk of the most powerful people on earth, even on the floor of the United States Senate.

There's lots here. See Tucker Carlson end Mike Pence's presidential aspirations with one devastating question. And watch the antics of the "Catholics" at Saint Joan of Arc "Catholic community" in Minneapolis, which "Pope" Francis has chosen to play a key role in the Synod on Synodality.

You'll learn the truth about World Youth Day -- so disturbing that even Bishop Robert Barron is speaking out against what Cardinal Gerhard Müller calls a "hostile takeover of the Catholic Church." No wonder the proponents of the New World Order feel threatened by the Latin Mass communities, to the point that an FBI memo, which Director Christopher Wray called "the Richmond product", recommended surveilling -- read, targetting -- us "rad trads".

But wait... there's more! Mr Matt reveals the "ultimate crime" (as far as the globalists are concerned) for which Pope Benedict XVI was forced to resign.

Michael Matt says it is essential for us all to keep hope alive and stay totally committed to the final victory. On the evidence of the clips included in this video, the bullies, perverts, idiots and lunatics at the Vatican, the White House, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, etc, are trying to destroy not just the Catholic Church but the entirety of western civilization.

Let us join Mr Matt and Member of the European Parliament, Christine Margarete Anderson, in saying to them, "We will bring you down. And we will not tire until we have done just that!"

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Rex Murphy says if Pence was "mansplaining", that means he won

Ed. has been pressing me for just over two days to say something about the snoozefest that passed for a debate between Vice-President Mike Pence and Vice-President-Wannabe Kamala Harris. Dear readers, I just haven't got anything. Nothing. Rien. Nada... So I hope the good folks at Canada's National Post, the only major Canuck medium whose owners still let Rex Murphy talk [write. Ed.] won't mind my recommending "'Mike Pence was mansplaining,' and other things said by sore losers", published yesterday.

Mr Murphy is a lovable old curmudgeon -- much like my goodself -- and a stickler for proper usage of the Queen's English -- ditto. He also refuses to drink the fashionable progressive koolaid, which makes him a pretty good judge of what passes for political discourse in the Excited States of America. Here are a few snippets from his review of the alleged debate.

As soon as it had ended, various commentators, the Twitter horde, the blogs and the panoply of our present-day communications services, were going on, in severely disparaging terms, about the gentlemanly Vice-President Mike Pence’s “mansplaining.” They clearly were not pleased with Pence’s decorous performance, and just as clearly thought that accusing him of “mansplaining” was a real winner of a rebuke.
["Mansplaining" is] what I'd call a "combat" word, whose purposes is not to describe an exchange, but to put down one of the parties to it. The definition for this application of the word is as follows:

Mansplaining. (n.) a derogatory term called up by feminist ideologues to vainly rebut the actual facts of any matter that, in those rare circumstances where a more intelligent man is debating a less intelligent woman, the man has indubitably presented the better argument. Or, any incontestably superior male response to any inferior female argument.

I hope I have demystified...mansplaining and shown that it is a verbalism of last resort used by sore losers and inadequate debaters. If any should be so mischievous as to colour this column as itself a model of mansplaining, I will simply offer prayers for her recovery.

Gwynne Dyer predicts "President Pence"

Gwynne Dyer is a Canadian-born journalist and military historian, based nowadays in London. His columns are syndicated across Canada and the USA, and in an astonishing number of foreign (non-North American) papers, including the Wanganui (New Zealand) Chronicle. His books include Ignorant Armies: Sliding into War in Iraq (2003) and The Mess They Made: The Middle East After Iraq (2007), both best-sellers. He also wrote all of which were number one or number two on the Globe & Mail’s non-fiction best-seller list.

Mr Dyer also wrote Crawling from the Wreckage (2010), which, according to his website, "traces the world's halting emergence from the dark tunnel of the past decade, a time marked by exaggerated fears of terrorism, futile and unnecessary wars in the Middle East, neglect of climate change, and financial near-collapse." Seven years later, the uncharacteristic optimism of that book suggests that the author either had his tongue planted firmly in his cheek, or had lost his touch in predicting the future.

Walt thinks that Mr Dyer, a confirmed liberal, had drunk too much of the Obama Koolaid. Still, his track record since then has been pretty good, which is why I still read his columns regularly, taking his predictions with only a couple of grains of salt. Today I saw (in the aforementioned Wanganui Chronicle, "Still not the smoking gun", in which Mr Dyer analyzes the latest episode of the Russia-helped-elect-Trump saga.

As the headline of his column suggests, Mr Dyer think that the junior Trump's revelation of his meeting with Russian lawyer and lobbyist Natalia Veselnitskaya is still not the "smoking gun" which will lead to the impeachment of the senior Trump. As Mr Dyer puts it, "The dead will continue to walk around for a while yet." But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more.... SPOILER AHEAD!!!

Although Mr Dyer doesn't think President Trump will be impeached, he feels that Mr Trump, who some time ago stopped having fun in his new office, will get bored enduring the death of 1000 cuts, and will resign. Then, he says, we will get... President Pence. Thus endeth the column. I can only add, "'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished."
