What does Islam really teach about homosexuality?

You know how people say you can't be homosexual and still be a follower of the Prophet? And other liberal people say that's a lie made up by right-wingers such as your obedient servant? Check out "A practical guide for Muslims on how to navigate LGBTQ Pride month".

That allegedly homophobic guide helping Muslims navigate through Pride Month, was published by 5Pillars, a prominent Muslim news organization known in Broken Britain for supporting the Green Party and other forms of wokeism. But gay culture, it seems, is strictly haram!

The short “practical” guide for Western Muslim invaders emphasizes that, according to Islamic texts and scholars, both homosexual acts and same-sex marriage are forbidden and immoral. 

Although it states that same-sex attraction, being involuntary, is not inherently sinful, it encourages homosexual Muslims to seek conversion therapy because acting on their desires is "religiously prohibited." Homosexuality is framed as an affliction that calls for "compassion without compromise."

Good Islamic parents are advised to monitor their children's information diet -- the information, misinformation and disinformation kids get through schools, social media or pop culture -- and to "neutralize" LGBT-friendly messages through Islamic teaching.

5Pillars bills itself as "the largest English-language Muslim news site in Europe, Australia and the Americas". If they have even half the hundreds of thousands of followers they claim, 5Pillars is definitely not a fringe voice.

In related news: The wokesters at the University of Western Ontario in London (ON -- not the big one) have got their pink knickers all in a twist when followers of the Prophet compained about this image posted on social media, which shows four couples -- none of them straight and white -- including two women in the traditional Muslim hijab, about to share a kiss. 

The image drew fierce criticism from some Muslims, which Western acknowledged in a message issued yesterday announcing why they'd removed the post. "Our intent with the post was to demonstrate Western's unwavering support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia," the post said. 

"We also understand the image was upsetting for some members of the Muslim community." UWO statement went on to say that the post was intended to trigger discussions about how to support queer Muslims. "In order to promote that discussion, we have removed the image from the post to not distract from these important conversations."

A post on The Change.org describes the image of two women wearing the hijab and about to kiss as "offensive." The text goes on to say that the post uses the image of two Muslim women in a way that is insensitive and overtly sexual. "The depiction of the hijab in such a context is disrespectful, tokenizing, and attempting to redefine elements of the hijab by sexualizing and fetishizing an element of Islamic religion that is supposed to desexualize and encapsulate modesty."

A statement issued by the London Council of Imams also supported the decision to have the post taken down. "While we understand that the intent of the poster published on by May17.org is to promote inclusion, we can see that the goal was not met and the means used were contrary to inclusion. Many were left with the impression that Muslims were singled out in having a symbol of their religion included in the poster." The statement went on to say that posting the image led to "hateful comments" being directed at Muslims. "We unequivocally reject any hateful statement directed toward any religion or group based on their religion, culture, ethnicity, and/or sexual orientation." 

But wait, there's more. The headline on Canadian website CP24 reads: "Pride flag burned at Markham school, 2 suspects facing charges". York Region police say two suspects are facing charges in a "potentially hate-motivated incident" that saw a Markham ON school's Pride flag burned.

The coppers responded to an unnamed school located near Yonge Street and Clark Avenue in Markham on Tuesday for reports that the flag had been burned. Investigators determined that two suspects attended the school a day earlier at approximately 2300 and removed the flag from its holder, ripped it, and attempted to set it on fire.

Walt doesn't understand how such an act can be "potentially" hate-motivated. Is that like being "potentially pregnant"? Seems to me an act either is or is not hate-motivated. Perhaps it's a question of proof, rather than jumping to conclusions.

But wait. The two 18-year-old suspects have now been identified as Sepehr Abadar and Mahan Mohammad Radmard, both of Markham, both former students of the school. The young Mohammedans have each been charged with mischief under $5000, and police have now deleted the "potentially" from their account of the incident. A spokesthingy told the meejua "York Regional Police takes all hate-motivated incidents seriously and will not tolerate any form of hate crime."

Project Skyfall reveals stunning success of DEI in Toronto

Canada's Little Apple -- the so-called Greater Toronto Area -- prides itself on being the most diverse conurbation in the Great No-longer-white North. People of the paler persuasion (read: white) are in the minority, large numbers of them having become "white flees" years ago. 

The GTA has now resolved itself into a number of ghettos: Sikhs in Brampton; blacks in North York and northern Etobicoke; Chinese in Markham and Richmond Hill; Muslims in Mississauga and Milton; as well as the traditional Jewish, Italian and Portuguese enclaves.

But people of various ethnicities and religions do come together for community projects such as home invasions, car theft, and mostly peaceful demonstrations. In York Region (the northern neighbour of the City of Toronto), investigators from the Police Hold Up Unit (HUU) have just announced the results of Project Skyfall, a year-long investigation into the area's problems with drugs, armed robberies and car theft.

Markham murders - clarification and correction

In fairness to the Muslim community of "Greater Toronto", and migrants from south Asia (and NOT because of M-103!) I feel obliged to pick up some loose ends and post something of a mea culpa for "Toronto-area honour killing (?) claims 4 family members", WWW 29/7/19.

I posted the first version of this story 48 hours ago, as the news broke. The only information that the York Region police were releasing was that four people had been killed in one house and that a young man had been arrested when he answered the door of the house. Nothing was said about the man's relationship, if any, to the victims. And there was nothing about the victims' identity, ethnicity, status in Canada or religion. But, since Markham ON is a "diverse" community -- the majority of Chinese ancestry, actually -- with a large immigrant population, Agent 78 checked Fairchild Radio to learn more. That was where we got the tip that the members of the household were south Asian. That was correct.

From the names and appearance of people -- former tenants of a basement apartment -- who spoke to the (((controlled media))), I jumped to the conclusion that the family were probably Muslim. A further clue was the name of the suspect who was arrested -- Menham Zaman. Although the "authorities" still haven't said as much -- M-103 is in effect! -- that inference appears also to have been correct, and I stand by it. We'll know for sure when the funeral is held.

Then I wrote, "South Asian family. Domestic violence. Murder. Don't be surprised if, as Walt hereby predicts, this turns out to be an 'honour killing'." Although I didn't use the word "Muslim", because "honour killings" occur in other religious communities -- Sikhs, for instance -- I did write that the murders could have been triggered (no pun intended) by "some sort of domestic situation arising from someone not following the strict laws of Islam regarding dress and deportment, or choice of spouse."

That insinuation appears to have been unwarranted. After I had posted two updates [which seemed like enough. Ed.] news emerged of disturbing messages and images posted by Mr Zaman on a gaming platform called "Perfect World", which he used regularly. According to an administrator of the site, "He messaged many of his friends, including myself, about the details of the murder, during the act.... He has been choosing self-devaluing names like 'subhuman' and 'don't deserve life' to represent himself."

According to the meeja, Mr Zaman said online that he killed his family becauase he was tired of lying to them about his life. (They believed he had been attending university, whereas, he said, he had been killing time, gaming, and generally doing nothing was his life.) What we see now is a picture, not of an affair of honour -- I was wrong about that* -- but of an affair of insanity, or something like it. The story is sad, no matter the ethnicity or religion of those involved. I propose to give it a rest now.

* Note from Ed.: Mind you, Walt didn't say flat out that the murders were honour killings. He wrote, "Don't be surprised if..."

Toronto to open up refugee camps for border-jumpers

As a follow-up to "Ungrateful 'refugees' destroy Canadian hotels" and "'Illegal free rider not invited!' Into Canada? Really?", Walt is pleased to post this graphic comment, seen on Blazing Cat Fur this morning.

Both of my posts contain videos which are worth watching, particularly the Ming Pao Daily footage of the anti-illegals demonstration in Markham ON. Canada's state-run broadcaster, the CBC, has not only censored that video, but suppressed even the mention of it in articles or comments sections on related articles on its website. VIDEO: Ungrateful "refugees" destroy Canadian hotels

OK, forget about Zimbabwe. Stick a fork in it. It's done. Let's turn instead to the Great No-longer-white North, which is having its own problems with dark-complected people -- Haitians and Nigerians, to be specific -- coming in the 1000s to cross the world's longest undefended border (TM) near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC and other fenceless border posts. The Liberal government line is that dealing with them -- giving them food, clothes, housing and welfare cheques -- is a "challenge". Michelle Rempel and other (somewhat) Conservative MPs call it a "crisis". The province of Québec has said it just can't take any more, so the Liberal federal government is shipping the latest arrivals to Ontario. Well, not all of Ontario, only the "sanctuary city" of Toronto, which is where the bogus "refugees" wanted to go anyway. Seeing the horde heading west on the 401, Toronto Mayor John Tory (Tory by name, liberal by nature) cried out to the feds for some help. Since he couldn't very well say Toronto didn't want the border jumpers, he said only that the city had no room for them, its homeless shelters being already full of "refugees" from Syria and a few born-in-Canada drug addicts and mental cases.

A grand meeting was called, at which the mayors of Toronto and surrounding municipalities -- the so-called Greater Toronto Area -- were asked if they'd mind taking a few. Out of that came the rumour that Frank Scarpitti, the mayor of neighbouring Markham (aka "New Beijing"), had offered to take as many as 5000 of the welfare shoppers. That rumour was the cause of a demonstration in front of Markham Civic Centre last Saturday, in which scores of angry Chinese-Canadians shouted and waved signs reading "MARKHAM SAY NO TO ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSERS" and "ILLEGAL FREE RIDER NOT INVITED."

One reader was actually told he could be guilty of "hate crime" by challenging the party line on this crisis.

This being an election year, Mayor Scarpitti denied the rumour, and got away with it until yesterday, when Mayor Tory announced that hundreds of the illegals would be transferred from college dorms, where they were sent in June, to hotels in Mississausage, Etobicoke and, errr, Markham, where they will be put up indefinitely, at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer.

That point was underlined today when the Hon. William Blair, Minister of Border Security (aka Minister of BS) a white guy who took over the file from the darker Minister of Refugees, confirmed that "Ottawa" will be providing C$11 million (about $8.45 million in real money) to pay the hotel bills. That's how the CBC reported it -- "Ottawa" will be paying. Most Canucks have finally realized that "Ottawa" = THEM -- Canadian taxpayers.

Sheila Gunn Reid, host of The Gunn Show on The Rebel, has dared to ask who's going to pay to clean up the university dorms, hotel rooms and other "temporary accommodation" once the "refugees" have been given permanent homes. Apparently the flood of Syrian refugees -- 50,000 or them -- which flowed through Toronto hotels following Mr Socks' fit of virtue-signalling in 2015 made quite a mess: urinating in the lobbies, making fires in the rooms, stealing microwaves, smashing furniture and generally behaving like ungrateful third-worlders. If I were going to stay in a GTA hotel -- not likely because I try not to travel to places where I'll be a vizmin -- I would certainly ask, when making a reservation, if they have had any refugees staying there lately.

Meanwhile, in a related story, the Angus Reid Institute -- a polling firm steadfastly neutral on political issues -- today released results of a poll of 1500 members of their Forum, conducted between July 25th and 30th. A majority of Canadians polled said that the number of asylum-seekers crossing into the country is too high. 65% of those polled said they felt that it was "too many people for Canada to handle", with only 29% stating that it's a "manageable number of people." Only 6% said they felt Canada could handle more border crossers.

Politicians always say that the only poll that counts is the one on election day. Canada's next federal election is scheduled for October of 2019. Walt predicts that Canadians will send Just In Trudeau, the boy wonder, packing. (Lifetime pct .992.) Unfortunately for the land of the maple leaf, the "refugees" will linger on... and on... and on...

VIDEO: "Illegal free rider not invited!" Into Canada? Really?

Canada has two mid-sized cities in which the majority of the populace is Chinese-Canadian, meaning (mostly) legal immigrants from China or their descendants, the latter being known to each other as "CBCs" -- Canadian-born Chinese. The two cities are Richmond BC, a bedroom community to Vancouver, and Markham ON, part of the soi-disant Greater Toronto Area.

Rumours fly thick and fast in the Chinese-Canadian community, and none has flown higher and faster in recent times than a story that Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti [How did an Italian-Canadian get to be mayor of Markam? Ed.] is planning to house 5000 of the illegal border jumpers that Canuck Prime Minister Just In Trudeau, in a colossally stupid display of virtue-signalling, invited into the Great No-longer-white North following the inauguration of President Trump. Even though Mayor Scarpitti was quick to deny the rumour -- he's up for re-election in October! -- angry Chinese-Canadians organized a protest, held this past Saturday in front of the Markham Civic Centre. Apparently the Chinese are not as polite or as docile as other Canadians, for they had the temerity to express their feelings both vocally and in writing. Several signs said "Say NO to Mayor Frank!", while others, referring to the previous weekend's shootings in Toronto's Greektown, read "Do Not Let Tragedy Happen In Markham." Other signs read "MARKHAM SAY NO TO ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSERS" and "ILLEGAL FREE RIDER NOT INVITED." And there was this one.

Not surprisingly, to those who know Toronto -- proud of the diversity that's killing it -- the protest was met with a counter-protest hastily organized (as the signs show) by the leftist Canadian Union of Public Employees. The snivel servants are supporters of the socialist NDP, which included in its platform in the recent Ontario election a promise to turn the entire province into a sanctuary.

Protesters met counter-protesters, with the local police stepping in to referee, and the chaotic scene was captured by Ming Pao Daily News. Warning! This video contains violence and (according to Agent 78) coarse language. 



The protester addressing the crowd in Mandarin described the question of Canada’s response to asylum-seekers as a public safety issue. "It should not be this way," she said, seemingly on the verge of angry tears. "You [the government] have to make sure that we’re safe." Walt wishes her and all the others opposed to importing terrorism and hatred rotsa ruck.

UPDATED: "Dirty Chinese Restaurant" game shut down by PC police

SPOILER ALERT added 6/10/17: Clicking on the video links below will get you nothing. Rien. Nada. Big-O-Tree games has removed the trailers from its website and YouTube, and has chosen not to release its Dirty Chinese Restaurant video game after "progressives" and Forces for Good (= PC police) slammed it as racist, "offensive" and "demeaning".

On its Facebook page, Big-O-Tree said the game was "not created with an intentional interest of inflicting harm or malice against Chinese culture. After careful consideration and taking the time to listen to the public's opinion we have decided it's not in anyone's best interest to release Dirty Chinese Restaurant. We would like to make a sincere and formal apology to the Chinese community." Once again, political correctness trumps fun. Nobody can take a joke anymore.

Markham ON is home to one of Canada's two largest Chinese-Canadian communities. (The other predominantly Chinese city is Richmond BC.) Agent 78, who should know, says that visiting Markham is just like visiting Hong Kong "only not so tall". Markham is also the home of Big-O-Tree Games. Their website says the company was founded "for one sole purpose: to make the offbeat games we know you want to play, but you didn't think anyone had the cojones to make!"

Case in point: Dirty Chinese Restaurant, in which players share the flame-broiling, veggie-pounding, meat-slicing exploits of restauranteur Wong Fu. If you're a gamer, you'll thrill as you chase cats and dogs with a cleaver, look through alleyways for entrée ingredients, and escape health inspectors and immigration officers. Big-O-Tree says the game is meant to be "tongue-in-cheek, shockingly humorous, and full of satire inspired by the mad world we live in." Here's a trailer.



Perhaps Walt doesn't need to tell you [but you will anyway, right? Ed.] that Dirty Chinese Restaurant has been roundly condemned by snowflakes, liberals, the PC police and all right-thinking (read: politically correct) people, including the Mayor of Markham and the proudly lesbian Premier of Ontario. For some reason they call the game "racist", and say it "exploits stereotypes". Go figure. Here's the second trailer.



Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti [Are you sure? Odd name for a Chinese. Ed.] describes the game as "offensive", adding that he is "deeply disturbed by the game's demeaning depictions of the Chinese-Canadian community." In its defence, Big-O-Tree told Canadian Press the game "in no way is meant to be an accurate representation of Chinese culture." Rather, it's intended as satire and comedy "influenced by the classic politically incorrect shows we grew up watching, such as South Park, All in the Family, Sanford & Son, Family Guy, and The Simpsons."

Well sir... since I'm a big fan of two of those politically incorrect shows, that's good enough for me. Until now, the only video game I've ever downloaded is Angry Birds, but I'm going to get my mouse into the App Store right now, and have me some good clean fun in the Dirty Chinese Restaurant!

Footnote: On August 15th, Yan Can Cook, 3255 Hwy 7, Markham, received a closure order from the public health inspector for operating a food premise in a manner permitting a health hazard and failing to provide adequate protection against the entrance of insects, vermin or rodents. Two days later, Malay Thai Famous Cuisine, which by sheer coincidence operated at the same address, received a closure order for failing to provide adequate protection against the entrance of insects, vermin, or rodents.
