VIDEO: "Illegal free rider not invited!" Into Canada? Really?

Canada has two mid-sized cities in which the majority of the populace is Chinese-Canadian, meaning (mostly) legal immigrants from China or their descendants, the latter being known to each other as "CBCs" -- Canadian-born Chinese. The two cities are Richmond BC, a bedroom community to Vancouver, and Markham ON, part of the soi-disant Greater Toronto Area.

Rumours fly thick and fast in the Chinese-Canadian community, and none has flown higher and faster in recent times than a story that Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti [How did an Italian-Canadian get to be mayor of Markam? Ed.] is planning to house 5000 of the illegal border jumpers that Canuck Prime Minister Just In Trudeau, in a colossally stupid display of virtue-signalling, invited into the Great No-longer-white North following the inauguration of President Trump. See "A refugee camp? In Canada?! Yes, really!!", WWW 6/5/18 and "Canuck MP puts cost of welcoming illegals at C$90 million", WWW 22/7/18 (includes video).

Even though Mayor Scarpitti was quick to deny the rumour -- he's up for re-election in October! -- angry Chinese-Canadians organized a protest, held this past Saturday in front of the Markham Civic Centre. Apparently the Chinese are not as polite or as docile as other Canadians, for they had the temerity to express their feelings both vocally and in writing. Several signs said "Say NO to Mayor Frank!", while others, referring to the previous weekend's shootings in Toronto's Greektown, read "Do Not Let Tragedy Happen In Markham." Other signs read "MARKHAM SAY NO TO ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSERS" and "ILLEGAL FREE RIDER NOT INVITED." And there was this one.

Not surprisingly, to those who know Toronto -- proud of the diversity that's killing it -- the protest was met with a counter-protest hastily organized (as the signs show) by the leftist Canadian Union of Public Employees. The snivel servants are supporters of the socialist NDP, which included in its platform in the recent Ontario election a promise to turn the entire province into a sanctuary.

Protesters met counter-protesters, with the local police stepping in to referee, and the chaotic scene was captured by Ming Pao Daily News. Warning! This video contains violence and (according to Agent 78) coarse language.

The protester addressing the crowd in Mandarin described the question of Canada’s response to asylum-seekers as a public safety issue. "It should not be this way," she said, seemingly on the verge of angry tears. "You [the government] have to make sure that we’re safe." Walt wishes her and all the others opposed to importing terrorism and hatred rotsa ruck.

Chinese-Canadians protest hijab hoax

For Canadians, today is National Hug-a-Muslim Day. Canuck snowflakes, liberals and SJWs are busy in Québec City and elsewhere in the Great No-longer-white North, kicking off "Islamic Heritage Month" (seriously) by commemorating the first anniversary of an attack on a Québec City mosque that left six dead and several others injured. See "What REALLY happened at Québec City???", WWW 5/2/17 (includes VIDEO with Gavin McInnes).

Unfortunately for the Canadian Islamists (read: the National Council of Canadian Muslims) and Islamophiles, their "day of action" to "memorialize Islamophobia" -- see "Canadian Islamophiles plan National Hug-a-Muslim Day", WWW 18/1/18 -- has had a shadow cast over it by rallies in Montréal and elsewhere at which hundreds of Chinese-Canadians protested last month's "hijab hoax", in which a Muslim girl slandered their community by falsely claiming that an "Asian" (read: Chinese) man cut her hijab as she walked to school. See 'Anti-Muslim hate crime' hoax embarrasses Canuck Liberals", WWW 15/1/18.

In a presser organized by (((Shari Schwartz-Maltz))), media officer of the loony left Toronto District School Board, Khawlah Noman, an 11-year-old sixth-grader, accused "an Asian man" of pulling off her jacket hood and cutting the bottom of her hijab. The girl's emotional pain and suffering -- "I'm just a kid!" -- made headlines around the world, with politicians and public figures furiously signalling their virtue and their support for diversity in general and Muslims in particular. "My heart goes out to Khawlah Noman following this morning's cowardly attack on her in Toronto," tweeted Prime Minister Trudeau II. "Canada is an open and welcoming country, and incidents like this cannot be tolerated."

Miss Noman's claim was later rubbished by Toronto, who announced on January 15th that an extensive investigation had been conducted, as a result of which they had concluded that "it did not happen." Period. No explanation, and no apology at the time, although the girl's family later issued a rather mild apology to "all Canadians". The TDSB and Ms (((Schwartz-Maltz))), the Prime Minister and the lesbian Premier of Ontario merely said they were "relieved it didn't happen."

No-one was ever charged with, say, public mischief or filing a false report, let alone inciting hatred against "Asians" (read: Chinese). Jenny Wong, a Chinese-Canadian living in Montréal, told People's Daily Online, "The nature of this incident is vile. It is definitely a humiliation to Asian community, which has always been picked on. Even an 11-year-old knows that we are easy targets. This is unacceptable,” Jenny Wong, a 25-year-old Chinese Canadian living in Montreal, told People’s Daily Online on January 24th. "My friends and I will join a rally initiated by the local Chinese community in Montreal this Saturday, demanding an apology from the girl, the Canadian government, as well as a voice for the Asian community."

Two protest rallies were held in Toronto and Calgary earlier last week. Jenny Liu, a Chinese student at the University of Toronto, said "The Asian community in Canada doesn't have political muscle and is discriminated against or victimized. Canadian authorities and media outlets did not even carry out a thorough investigation before supporting the liar. Our rally slogan is focused on that lie: 'Hoax Today, Horror Tomorrow.' We feel hurt, and we demand that our voice is heard."

Ontario parents protests plan to teach kids about oral and anal sex

Anger at Ontario's new "improved" sex education curriculum continues to mount. The new curriculum, which was drafted by "progressive education experts" including one who has just been convicted of serious kiddy porn offences, has been on the drawing boards for almost ten years.

The new curriculum will teach children as young as six (6) about homosexuality, abortion, same-sex marriage and deviant sex, including oral and anal sex. [Whew! I thought you were going to say "sodomy". It's not PC! Ed.] It is backed by Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne, who is openly lesbian, and her Education Minister, Liz Sandals, who is not.

One may ask if the Liberal government is conducting a test of some kind, to find out just how gullible and sheep-like the province's people really are. If so, they must be disappointed in the results, because, even though Ms Sandals has announced that the new curriculum will be introduced in Ontario schools -- including state-funded "Catholic" schools -- this fall, come hell or high water, concerned and downright angry parents are turning out by the 100s and 1000s to protest having the LGBTQ education agenda forced down their children's throats (so to speak). See "Anger mounts at 'graphic revisions' to ON sex ed curriculum", posted here February 23rd.

Last night, a couple of Liberal MPPs and trustees of the notoriously left-learning Toronto District School Board held a "health and physical education information session" in the Toronto suburb of Scarborough, which, together with neighbouring Markham, has a large Chinese population. From his years in China, Walt knows that the Chinese are very conservative, at least publicly, when it comes to matters sexual. There is no sex education in Chinese schools at any age. Such things are left to the parents. And last night the Chinese (and other "ethnics") turned out in force to say that's the way it should be!

The parents, taxpayers and voters who turned out didn't come to be "informed". They had something to say, and were determined to say it. Things started out with a couple hundred protesters outside holding signs and chanting. Inside, the "educators" attempted to run a workshop with the customary PowerPoint show designed to convince people that there's really nothing to see here folks, just harmless stuff like teaching kids the polite names for their naughty bits... at age six (6).

The frustrated and unruly crowd wasn't having it. The meeting turned into a shouting match, with several in the audience heckling the presentations. Some parents tried to get those shouting to stop, but what ended up happening was yelling back and forth and heated exchanges. Tempers were flaring. "You don’t mess with people and their kids," said former TDSB trustee Sam Sotiropoulos. "There will be more protests."

An angry parent, Jewell McGregor, told a reporter, "Nobody in school authority should be teaching children about anal sex or oral sex.... They are saying we are all a bunch of idiots, but I think any adult who wants to teach anal and oral sex to children has something wrong with them."

Kathryn Chang, speaking for the Parents Alliance of Ontario, said, "We are primarily a Chinese-Canadian group. We generally don’t protest, but in this case we have people here tonight from Agincourt, all the way to Mississauga and Markham. People feel strongly about this. Teaching children these things at this age is way too soon."

Will Kathleen Wynne and her friends get the message that it’s not just religious groups or "homophobes" who are opposed to the the immoral curriculum? Her Liberal government has a majority in the Ontario legislature, so they can pretty much do as they please for the next 3+ years, and the public be damned. Stay tuned.
