What does Islam really teach about homosexuality?

You know how people say you can't be homosexual and still be a follower of the Prophet? And other liberal people say that's a lie made up by right-wingers such as your obedient servant? Check out "A practical guide for Muslims on how to navigate LGBTQ Pride month".

That allegedly homophobic guide helping Muslims navigate through Pride Month, was published by 5Pillars, a prominent Muslim news organization known in Broken Britain for supporting the Green Party and other forms of wokeism. But gay culture, it seems, is strictly haram!

The short “practical” guide for Western Muslim invaders emphasizes that, according to Islamic texts and scholars, both homosexual acts and same-sex marriage are forbidden and immoral.

Although it states that same-sex attraction, being involuntary, is not inherently sinful, it encourages homosexual Muslims to seek conversion therapy because acting on their desires is "religiously prohibited." Homosexuality is framed as an affliction that calls for "compassion without compromise."

Good Islamic parents are advised to monitor their children's information diet -- the information, misinformation and disinformation kids get through schools, social media or pop culture -- and to "neutralize" LGBT-friendly messages through Islamic teaching.

5Pillars bills itself as "the largest English-language Muslim news site in Europe, Australia and the Americas". If they have even half the hundreds of thousands of followers they claim, 5Pillars is definitely not a fringe voice.

In related news: The wokesters at the University of Western Ontario in London (ON -- not the big one) have got their pink knickers all in a twist when followers of the Prophet compained about this image posted on social media, which shows four couples -- none of them straight and white -- including two women in the traditional Muslim hijab, about to share a kiss.

The image drew fierce criticism from some Muslims, which Western acknowledged in a message issued yesterday announcing why they'd removed the post. "Our intent with the post was to demonstrate Western's unwavering support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia," the post said.

"We also understand the image was upsetting for some members of the Muslim community." UWO statement went on to say that the post was intended to trigger discussions about how to support queer Muslims. "In order to promote that discussion, we have removed the image from the post to not distract from these important conversations."

A post on The Change.org describes the image of two women wearing the hijab and about to kiss as "offensive." The text goes on to say that the post uses the image of two Muslim women in a way that is insensitive and overtly sexual. "The depiction of the hijab in such a context is disrespectful, tokenizing, and attempting to redefine elements of the hijab by sexualizing and fetishizing an element of Islamic religion that is supposed to desexualize and encapsulate modesty."

A statement issued by the London Council of Imams also supported the decision to have the post taken down. "While we understand that the intent of the poster published on by May17.org is to promote inclusion, we can see that the goal was not met and the means used were contrary to inclusion. Many were left with the impression that Muslims were singled out in having a symbol of their religion included in the poster." The statement went on to say that posting the image led to "hateful comments" being directed at Muslims. "We unequivocally reject any hateful statement directed toward any religion or group based on their religion, culture, ethnicity, and/or sexual orientation."

But wait, there's more. The headline on Canadian website CP24 reads: "Pride flag burned at Markham school, 2 suspects facing charges". York Region police say two suspects are facing charges in a "potentially hate-motivated incident" that saw a Markham ON school's Pride flag burned.

The coppers responded to an unnamed school located near Yonge Street and Clark Avenue in Markham on Tuesday for reports that the flag had been burned. Investigators determined that two suspects attended the school a day earlier at approximately 2300 and removed the flag from its holder, ripped it, and attempted to set it on fire.

Walt doesn't understand how such an act can be "potentially" hate-motivated. Is that like being "potentially pregnant"? Seems to me an act either is or is not hate-motivated. Perhaps it's a question of proof, rather than jumping to conclusions.

But wait. The two 18-year-old suspects have now been identified as Sepehr Abadar and Mahan Mohammad Radmard, both of Markham, both former students of the school. The young Mohammedans have each been charged with mischief under $5000, and police have now deleted the "potentially" from their account of the incident. A spokesthingy told the meejua "York Regional Police takes all hate-motivated incidents seriously and will not tolerate any form of hate crime."

UPDATED: Monkeypox: haven't we seen this movie before?

Readers of a certain age [Not you, Jimmy. You're too young. Ed.] will remember HIV/AIDS, the Great Plague sent by God to punish us for the promiscuity and perversions which had become "normal" in the hippy-dippy 60s. The loathsome disease originated in central Africa, and is similar to a simian virus found in chimpanzees.

The earliest known infection of an identified human being dates back to 1959, found in a plasma sample taken from an adult male living in the Belgian Congo (later Zaire and now the Democratic Republic of the Congo). It was widely assumed that it was transmitteed by that person, or someone he knew intimately, having sex with a chimp.

In fairness, it's equally possible that transmission occurred when that person ate a chimp, or "bush meat" as it is known in Africa. Or it may have occurred when chimps were used in developing a polio vaccine for humans.

In any case, an African passed on the disease to Gaëtan Dugas, a Canadian flight attendant, who was once regarded as "Patient Zero". M Dugas, who died in 1984 from kidney failure caused by an AIDS-related infection, was very open-minded when it comes to race, and evidently a very active homosexual [A gay flight attendant? Really? Ed.], and was found to payed a role role in a cluster of 40 cases in wait for it... New York and San Francisco. The rest is history.

Fast forward six decades to this spring, when we were alerted by the World Health Organization [WHO? Ed.] to a sudden and dramatic rise in the incidence of monkeypox, a viral disease endemic in central and west Africa. The name comes from the initial discovery of the virus in monkeys in a Danish laboratory in 1958. The first human case was identified in a child in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (again!) in 1970.

According to the United Nations Aids agency (UNAIDS), "a significant proportion" of recent monkeypox cases have been identified among "gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men". But how did it spread to Europe and America so quickly? More than 100 cases of monkeypox have now been reported across Europe, with a handful (so far) in New York and, through an illegal border crossing at Roxham Road QC, to Montréal.

The UK Health Security Agency has said a notable proportion of recent cases in Britain and Europe have been found in gay and bisexual men. Where did they get it? Probably at the Maspalomas Pride Festival held in the Canary Islands between the 5th and 15th of May. The queerfest attracted some 80,000 visitors from Europe and Africa, including many who have since tested positive for the monekypox virus.

Meanwhile, the usual suspects have told the media to STFU about any links between the monkeypox cases and the LGBTQ2S+++ celebrations, warning that "racist, homophobic and irresponsible language is undermining the response to the outbreak, by "reinforce homophobic and racist stereotypes and exacerbating stigma."

Experience shows (the same people are telling us) that Èstigmatising rhetoric can quickly disable evidence-based response by stoking cycles of fear, driving people away from health services, impeding efforts to identify cases and encouraging ineffective, punitive measures." So forget you read this, and stop talking about it, OK?!

Footnote: Smallpox vaccine is said to be 85% effective against monkeypox, so, if you're 60 or under and were never vaccinated against smallpox, book your appointment now. Although, if you're straight, white, and avoid sexual contact with monkeys and other at-risk groups, you'll probably be OK, even without the jab.

UPDATE ADDED 27/5/22: Canada's Global News reports that monkeypox cases in Canada are suspected to have originated at G.I. Joe's, a Montréal sauna frequented by members of the fudge-packing community. The country's first two cases were reported by Québec public health officials on May 19th.

Officials say the majority of confirmed cases in the province are tied to men aged between 20 and 30 years, who have had sexual relations with other men. There has been one case in a person under 18.Until now, government officials have steered clear of confirming the origin of the loathesome disease due to "concerns of privacy and stigmatization."

Misogyny and homophobia is OK... but only if you're Muslim

Ed. here. Walt is still under the weather and Poor Len has his mind on other things (read: hockey) so to reward our faithful readers for visiting WWW today, I've found a good cartoon which points out the double standard of our media and politicians regarding the recent unpleasantness in Christchurch.

See yesterday's post's footnotes for more comments.

Speaking of New Zealand and the NZ Prime Minister's (I won't give her publicity by using her name) being over backwards (not frontwards) to be nice to Muslims, check out "Troubling signs New Zealand shooting is being used to turn my country into Islamic State". on Lifesite News 21/3/19. This pretty well sums it up.

Peel Region (Canada) cops start anti-LGBT emergency response unit

The Regional Municipality of Peel, next urban sprawl west of Toronto, Canada, is a seriously screwed-up region. It consists of the Town of Caledon, which is more or less normal since it is mostly populated by rich white folks who own horses and vote for mildly conservative parties. The flatlands south of the Caledon Hills are divided into two large (for Canada) cities, Brampton and Mississauga.

The City of Brampton has been the subject of several posts on WWW. The population is about 40% black, 40% brown (Sikhs and other Indians) and maybe 20% who have not yet joined the legions of "white flees" who have moved further away from the Wormy Apple. The black folks don't vote since they're too busy appearing in court. The white folks don't vote because it won't make any difference. Why? Because the "south Asian community" -- Indians, Pakistanis, and a few Bengalis -- can be counted on to vote Liberal, resulting in the election of Sikh people like Raj Grewal, MP, mentioned here before.

The City of Mississauga is a little more diverse. There is a large South Asian community -- 95% Sikhs -- in what used to be called Malton, around YYZ (Pearson International Airport) where they are employed as baggage-wallahs and security guards. There is a vibrant Chinese community south of the 403 between Mavis and Creditview Roads. And there are some enclaves of well-to-do white people along the shore of Lake Ontario, in areas still known to oldies as Port Credit, Lorne Park and Clarkson. So, a mixed bag.

The diversity which Canuck Prime Minister Just In Trudeau claims makes Canuckistan strong also makes Brampton and (to a lesser extent) Mississauga, ghettos. Don't take Walt's word for it. Check out "Saying the unsayable about the unspeakable in Brampton, Canada" (WWW 25/4/14) and "Brampton a ghetto? How can they say that?" (WWW 13/6/16). It's all part of "The irreversible browning of Canada", (WWW 26/10/17).

Not all "old stock Canadians" are happy about that. Consequently, there's now a certain amount of what the Liberals call "hate crime", i.e. speaking the truth about the propensity of certain racial and ethnic groups to do things like hold up convenience stores or kill their women for the sake of "honour". M-103!

But the "victims of hate crime" are not just non-Christians of colour. Oh no. There's a lot of "hate" against the LGBTQ2Setc community. That group has grown exponentially since homosexuality became fashionable, not just in the Catholic Church but in society generally, thanks to the constant glorification of the gay "lifestyle" by the pro-queer government and media. Walt is shocked to learn that some Canadians, even in Brampton and Mississauga, think that there is something wrong ["queer"? Ed.] with the LGBTQ types, and that "gender fluidity" should not be promoted in schools. What's worse, these "homophobes" sometimes speak out publicly, going so far as to hold demonstrations in favour of old-fashioned Christian morality. The horror, the horror!!!

Any mention of the social and personal problems which go along with the gay lifestyle is now verboten, of course, because to speak (or even think) against "diversity" -- including "gender diversity" -- is hate crime. And you'd better believe, dear Canadian readers, that "haters" will be tracked down, prosecuted and punished! Unless, of course, they're preaching hate aqgainst straight white Christians. That's OK.

So keen are the minions of the law -- the Peel Regional Police -- on finding and arresting the "haters" that they have formed a special squad -- the Diversity Relations unit -- to respond immediately, in numbers and with force, to occurrences such as the shouting of the N-word outside a strip club (of which Brampton and Mississauga have many). They even have their own emergency vehicles, appropriately painted in rainbow stripes. I kid you not. Here's the photographic evidence.

It is to be noted that, through a quirk of history, the PRP does not police the mostly-white Town of Caledon, only the mostly-coloured Cities of Brampton and Mississauga. So if you're a resident of Caledon, you can speak your mouth with less fear than the million-plus to the south of you. If you live in the ghettos of Brampton and Mississauga, you can feel assured... and quietly proud... that the Peel Region Police Diversity Relations team has your back, or your backside, as the case may be.

Warning: these stories may trigger Islamophobia AND homophobia!

Here's a story, reported by Toronto CTV News, that the SJWs and PC politicians (Hello, Kathleen Wynne, Justin Trudeau and, yes, John Tory!) don't want to see splashed all over the media, because it will undoubtedly engender feelings of homophobia AND Islamophobia in some readers. But it's a true crime story, released by the Toronto coppers, so Walt can share it with you without fear of M-103 or any other anti-free speech laws.

Pictured at left is 27-year-old Ala Al Safi, aka Ala El Deen and... wait for it... Ala Mode. (Isn't that a cute alias?) Mr Al Safi is an Arab, a Muslim, and a practising homosexual pervert. And boy ["boy"? Ed.] does he practise! Toronto police alllege that he had intimate relationships with multiple men over the course of six (6) years, without telling any of them that he was HIV positive.

The coppers say Mr Al Safi was diagnosed with the disease in February of 2011. In July of the same year, he met a 24-year-old man through an online classified personal ad. The two allegedly began an intimate relationship, which they carried on for some time without the suspect disclosing his HIV+ status.

Fast forward to last December, when police say the same man met a 21-year-old man through an online dating website and the two began an intimate relationship. The victim told police that the suspect did not tell him about his HIV+ status.

[This is getting repetitious. Can we get to the charges? Ed.] OK, OK... Police say that eight more people -- eight different men ranging in age from 18 to 28 -- have come forward with allegations pertaining to the same, errr, man. [At least the victims weren't minors! Ed.] The homosexual encounters reported occurred as far back as December of 2011 and extended right through to March of this year. In none of the cases, police say, did the suspect tell his partners that he is infected with a disease which, if passed to them, will inevitably kill them.

Some legal beagles would say charges of attempted murder would be justified, but Mr Al Safi has been charged with eight additional counts of aggravated sexual assault. Why "additional"? Because he was previously charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault in April and June of this year.

The CTV News report does not mention Mr Al Saki's immigration/citizenship status in Canada. Nor does it make clear whether this despicable bugger is out on bail or safely behind bars where, as we all know, homosexual activity is strictly forbidden.

And here's another one that CTV News published, but, like the story above, was somehow missed by the government-controlled CBC.

Yesterday, also in Toronto, police announced an arrest following a complaint of a child reported being sexually assaulted at a TTC subway station. 41-year-old Chitranjan Boyal is facing three charges including sexual assault, sexual interference and failure to comply with probation. The mother of the victim -- a 7-year-old boy -- told police that they were on an escalator heading toward ground level at around 8 PM when a man approached her son from behind and sexually assaulted him. The cops had already received numerous calls about a man grabbing at children in "a sexual manner".

A police spokesthingy told the media, "The mom did everything right. She went up to the collector's booth, notified them, had them call 911, and she also had the time to pull out her cellphone and take a picture of the alleged suspect." Not wishing to fan the flames of homophobia or Islamophobia, the cops declined to release any information about the pedophile's nationality, ethnicity or religion. Thus we don't know what part of Ireland Chitranjan Boyal is from... but we can guess!

VIDEO: What's wrong with "fat-shaming"?

What was it, exactly, that The Donald called Rosie O'Donnell? A fat slob? A pig? A porker? Ed. has chased down the New York Times account of how the feud started.

According to the Times, in 2006 Mr Trump "unleashed a verbal fusillade on Entertainment Tonight, calling Ms. O’Donnell 'disgusting' and 'a slob' with 'a fat, ugly face'. He said he wanted to take her to court so he could 'take some money out of her fat-ass pockets' and wondered aloud why anyone would choose to be in a romantic relationship with her.

"'We’re all a little chubby, but Rosie is just worse than most of us,' he said. 'But it's not the chubbiness. Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out.'

"Mr. Trump went on Late Show With David Letterman to talk about his dislike for Ms O'Donnell"...who had recently come out as a lesbian, calling her 'a degenerate'."

Yeah. "Degenerate". That was the part Walt had forgotten. Nowadays, the Times and their anointed candidate Shrillery Clinton would call that remark an example of Mr Trump's "homophobia". They've already labelled the rest "fat-shaming", which is yet another example of The Donald's persistent political incorrectness.

He did say that "we're all a little chubby" -- meaning all Americans, Walt presumes -- but that's something you just can't say any more, not even about yourself. Even as the American woman tips the scales at 166.2 lbs (in 2015), up from 140 lbs in 1960, the words "fat", "huuuuuge", "immense", "gargantuan", "enormous", [That's enough fat words. Ed.] have been banned from the language.

Political correctness was not always so pervasive. As recently as the 80s, fat jokes were a staple on Married With Children. Here's a mix. Hope you can enjoy them before the PC police have them removed from YouTube.

How about an "anti-phobia" commissar?

Walt notes with more than his accustomed cynicism that the Province of Ontario (the one with the proudly lesbian premier), as set up an "anti-racism directorate", which held a public meeting in the Wormy Apple last night to "engage in conversation" with BLMTO (Black Lives Matter Toronto), the LGBTQ2SI "community" and all the other self-proclaimed alphabits who feel "marginalized" and/or "disadvantaged".

The Toronto Red Star reports that the anti-racism directorate's first consultation "focused on systemic racism, including anti-black racism, Islamophobia, anti-indigenous racism and racism experienced by other communities." Well, let's get this (if you'll forgive the expression) straight.

- Islam is not a race. It's a religion -- "the religion of peace", as demonstrated yesterday in France.
- "Gender orientation" is not the same as "race". (Apparently it's not even the same as "sex" any more.)
- "Communities" -- e.g. the LGBTQ2SIetc "community" -- are not races.
- People who are "physically challenged" (formerly called cripples -- thanx, George Carlin) can be of any race.
- So can fat people who are the "victims" of "racist body-shaming". (I plead guilty to having suggested that many supporters of BLM are fat white women.)

Seems to me that what the "progressives" are labelling racism these days is actually different forms of phobia: Islamophobia, negrophobia, xenophobia, obesophobia, arachnophobia... We hate what we fear, and we fear what we hate. Would Premier Wynne or Prime Minister Trudeau or Secretary Clinton or President Obama disagree? I think not!

Therefore, in the interests of linguistic clarity, political correctness and Making The World A Better Place, Walt calls on all progressive governments to mount aggressive campaigns against phobophobia -- the fear of everything. Anti-phobia departments should have the mandate -- and the power -- to censor and silence any negative expressions of any kind about any and all persons and "communities" whatsoever, including [The rest of this post was somehow erased from Walt's computer. Ed.]

Orlando massacre: Trump says "I called it!"

This is a follow-up to "LATEST on gay nightclub massacre - what kind of terrorism?", posted and updated this morning.

It didn't take The Donald long to say what Walt and 1000s of others were thinking -- "Told ya so!" The presumptive GOP nominee offered words of support to the surivors and the families of the 100+ people killed and injured by Omar Mateem.

Mr Trump then tweeted about something the lamestream media, not to mention the Prez, have barely mentioned. The late Mr Mateem -- he was killed in a firefight with Orlando cops -- was an Afghan-American and a Muslim. His father told the press he was upset and offended by the sight of two men kissing at the gay nightclub. Moments before opening fire, he called 9-1-1 and declared his allegiance to ISIS.

Mr Trump said, quite rightly, that he had been right about Islamic extremism, and right in saying that this was going to happen. And early this afternoon, as President Barack Hussein Obama stepped to the podium in Washington to address the nation, The Donald tweeted, "Is President Obama going to finally mention the words 'radical Islamic terrorism'? If he doesn’t he should immediately resign in disgrace!"

POLITICALLY CORRECT UPDATE: Here's the latest fudge from the lamestream media: Donald Trump was not right when he warned about the Muslim threat. Yes, Omar Mateem was a Muslim. Yes, as a follower of the Prophet he would have believed that homosexuality is haram -- evil, dirty, unclean, taboo. But he was not a member of ISIS, you see, only a "lone wolf" who was merely an admirer of ISIS. So that's OK, then.

Further reading: "Ex-CIA Director: Obama’s Refusal to Call Out Radical Islam Is Doing 'Real Damage'", National Review, 12/6/16.

LATEST on gay nightclub massacre - what kind of terrorism?

Very disconcerting news on the mojo wire at sunrise this morning, about a mass shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub. [Aren't all nightclubs supposed to be gay?... Oh... I see what you mean... Ed.] Some 20 people of the LGBT persuasion have been killed and at least twice that number wounded, just at closing time when, as one witness aid, "they were taking their last sips."

The alleged shooter is reported to have killed himself, which will make it difficult for Inspector Bubba to interrogate him. However, an FBI spokesthingy says the massacre is being investigated as an act of terrorism. But (Walt asks) what kind of terrorism was it? Domestic or imported? Did the shooter act alone or was he part of some terrorist cell? Was this an egregious example of homophobia? Anti-semitism? Anti-Americanism? Or just plain old Islamic terrorism?

I can almost hear the Clintonistas and anti-Trumpers praying [Do they do that? Ed.] "Please, Allah, let it not be a Muslim or a black guy!" But this is (obviously) a breaking story so Walt will refrain from making any phobic comments until more facts are known.

IN THE COLD LIGHT OF DAWN... Orlando cops are now saying there are fifty (50) dead, including the gunman.

Congersman Alan Grayson (Dem-FL) immediately laid down the PC party line, telling reporters, "It's no coincidence the attack took place where it did and when it did. Because it's a gay club and it might be that we've seen the commission of an awful hate crime last night."

Unfortunately for those hoping and praying there was no Muslim connection, the killer was identified as Omar S. Mateen, of Port St. Lucie FL. Mr Grayson hastened to assure us that Mr Mateen "was a U.S. citizen. That's not true of some of his family members." Mr Grayson did not say which part of Ireland Mr Mateen's family came from.

Ooooops. Turns out the Mateens weren't from Ireland after all. CBS News says they came from... wait for it... Afghanistan. How did they get into the USA? Not as refugees, surely!

There has so far been no motive confirmed for the shootings, but FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Ron "Claude" Hopper said the gunman "may have leanings" toward Jihadist ideology. No shit, Sherlock!

Blame dirty sex-ed! Toronto public schools lose 3500 students in year

At the beginning of the current school year, Walt reported that 1000s of parents were pulling their kids out of Ontario's "public" schools to keep them from being taught the benefits of homosexuality and other perversion in the "new, modernized" sex education curriculum being introduced by the province's Liberal government. See "Ontario's dirty sex ed curriculum going ahead. Worried parents scramble to get kids out", WWW 2/9/15.

The chattering classes poo-pooed the notion that a protest led by "religious nuts" and "homophobic immigrants" could have any impact. And the Liberal government of openly lesbian Premier Kathleen Wynne -- pictured here in a classroom -- fought back, of course, with a lavishly funded advertising campaign which was quickly pulled in response to 1000s of dislikes and snide remarks in the social media. See "What do you think of the Ontario government's VIDEO promoting its new dirty sex-ed curriculum?", 1/10/15.

Parents As First Educators has led the charge to keep the secular humanists in Ontario's "Pink Palace" from brainwashing impressionable kids (as young as 6!) with their pro-LGBTQ2S, anti-religous "values". See "Stop shaming parents who balk at sex education in schools", WWW 21/9/15. And guess what? They're winning!

The war against teaching immorality in Ontario schools is far from over, but concerned parents have won a significant battle in Toronto, the font of all evil. This morning, the Chair of the Toronto District School Board conceded that the province's new sex-ed curriculum is largely to blame for declining enrolment. The megacity's "public" schools will have 3500 fewer students next year. As a result, the TDSB will cut 100 teaching positions and make other staff reductions.

In an interview on the CBC, Robin Pilkey said she believes about 2,500 of those are children being pulled from schools by parents upset with the new sex-ed curriculum, which came into force in the fall of 2015 amid widespread protest. The pro-queer curriculum teaches masturbation, "gender expression" and the "value of diversity" -- but not the difference between right and wrong.

Walt congratulates PAFE and all the others who dare to stand up for decency and the values set out by God in Holy Scripture. Keep fighting!

Ontario's lesbian Premier shunned in India

It's been some time since Walt had an agent in India [Applications to the usual address, please. Ed.] but I do follow the news from that awesome and awful country. I'm especially interested when Western leaders go on pilgrimages to the Land that Sanitation Forgot in search of enlightenment... or money!

Taxpayers of the Canadian province of Ontario know that the Liberal government they (incredibly) re-elected is desperate for the latter (= money), as their proudly lesbian Premier Kathleen Wynne and her cronies continue to spend like drunken sailors on computer systems that don't work and billions of beaverbucks to not build gas-fired power plants.

When you're broke, and your credit rating has been downgraded, the obvious thing to do is go to India begging for some foreign aid, or at least foreign investment. And that's just what the lovely Ms Wynne did, last week. Here she is, visiting the Golden Temple, Sikhism's holiest of holy places, in Amritsar.

That's Ms Wynne on the right, in the fetching turquoise outfit. The person at left is Jane Rounthwaite, who is Ms Wynne's... errr... wife? husband? ... OK, "spouse", then. Gender and marriage roles are so confusing nowadays, which happens to be the point of Ms Wynne's new sex-ed curriculum. [Whatever happened to pedophiliac Dr. Benjamin Levin? Is he still in jail? Ed.]

Seems like the lovely couple's Indian hosts were as confused as Ontarians. Some of them, in fact, were downright hostile. Check out "Pro-gay Ontario premier runs into an ethical wall in Punjab", a front-page article in the staid Hindustan Times.

The Times reports that the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee "decided not to honour the Canadian leader with a siropa (robe of honour) during her visit to the Golden Temple on Sunday. Reason: Wynne, a lesbian, is a supporter of same-sex marriages, a practice opposed by the Akal Takht, the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs."

Premier Wynne, however, denies that there was any such edict. "It took me aback. But homophobia is not surprising," Ms Wynne told the Toronto Star. "We’ve just been through that in Ontario. We know that it’s there. The best antidote is to carry on. I feel strongly about going to the Golden Temple because it is such an important place for the country, but it’s such an important place for people in Ontario."

Presumably the Ontario people she referred to include the 1000s of Sikhs in ridings in Brampton and Mississauga who voted for Ms Wynne and her Liberal candidates in the last Ontario election, just as they did for pro-LGBT2S Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in October's federal election. There are now lots of turbaned Sikhs on government benches in both Ottawa and Toronto, none of whom seem to have a problem with Ms Wynne's "alternative lifestyle". Maybe Canadian Sikhs aren't as devout as their co-religionists back in Mother India?

Obama names queers to represent him at Olympics; what will Canada do?

There won't be any Obamas or Bidens at the Sochi Olympics, two months hence. Nosiree! In yet another instance of pandering to the powerful LGBT lobby, the Prez has declared that he finds Russia's laws against promoting homosexuality "offensive". And, in a gesture of being offended, he has decided to poke the bear by sending, in his stead, some gay athletes and athletic supporters.

Billie Jean King -- role model for Ontario's Premier Kathleen Wynne -- has been asked to head the US delegation. She says she is "deeply honoured". Lesbian hockey player Caitlin Cahow is the other openly gay representative to the delegation. She'll attend the closing ceremony. And Janet Napolitano gets to go too.

What, Walt asks, will Canada do? Steve "Stephen" Harper is well known for kissing Obama's ass and telling him it smells like chocolate ice cream. And Canada's foreign minister, John "John" Baird threw a monstrous hissy fit when the Russian laws were announced, accusing the Russkis of homophobia, hate crime, yada yada yada.

Agent 3 suggests that since the US is sending two queers, it would be only fitting for Canada to send Baird and his confirmed bachelor buddy, Jason Kenney. But my sub, Poor Len Canayen, says it won't happen because to do so would be tantamount to admitting that Baird and Kenney are as gay as 18 balloons. As of this morning, they are still not just in the cabinet, but in the closet.

Nothing "gay" about Hallmark Christmas ornament

Hallmark Cards is about much more than greetings cards. Much, much more! Look at their online catalogue and you'll see all kinds of stuff. Including "keepsake ornaments", which include 287 "Christmas" ornaments (of which a mere 20 are "faith-related").

One of the "secular" Christmas ornaments is this lovely miniature sweather -- you'll find it about a third of the way down the page -- bearing a phrase from the old Christmas carol "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly". [Isn't it "Deck Us All with Boston Charlie"? Ed.]
But, as you can see, the phrase has been updated a bit. Hallmark seems to think no-one wants to don "gay apparel" any more, so they've changed the adjective to "fun". "Don we now our fun apparel"... Doesn't have quite the same ring, does it. And, as surely as Boxing Day follows Christmas, the change has drawn the wrath of the LGBT "community".

On Thursday a spokesthingy for Hallmark Twittered, "We’ve been surprised at the wide range of reactions expressed about the change of lyrics on this ornament, and we’re sorry to have caused so much concern. We never intend to offend or make political statements with our products, and in hindsight we realize we shouldn’t have changed the lyrics on the ornament."

Hallmark did not say where negative reaction to the ornament came from, but according to Reuters a leader of at least one gay rights organization said on Friday that the company went overboard in using the word "fun" on the ornament. "The whole thing seems silly to us," lisped Mitch Levine, "community ambassador" of the Lesbian and Gay Community Center of Kansas City.

Perhaps Hallmark should send Mr(?) Levine one of their "craven apology" cards!

"You need a strong heart today"

Unilever, the makers of Flora margarine, are keen to promote their product as good for your heart. To cope with the modern world, you need a strong heart, right? Sure. And here's how international advertising agency Lowe and Partner made the point in a print ad which ran... briefly... in South Africa.

"You need a strong heart today" is the strap line. What??? You don't get it? Well, see, there's a china heart and it's about to be shattered by the little bullet coming from the left. Something wrong with that?

Yes, I can read what the bullet says -- "Uhh, Dad I'm gay". So what? Ohhh... It's not politically correct to suggest that a man's heart could be broken by his son's telling him "I'm gay." That's not "gay friendly", according to UK-based gay rights group Stonewall, which described the advert as "offensive and inappropriate" ("inappropriate" being the worst possible pejorative in this PC age).

Do you think Unilever or its agency would grow a set and tell Stonewall to try developing a sense of humour? Nooo... The ad has been withdrawn and profuse mea culpas ["mea culpae"? Ed.] have been issued by all concerned. Score another one for the gay lobby.

Follow-up: Canadian Conservatives' base divided over government's pushing "gay rights"

A short follow-up to our post of August 7th about REAL Women of Canada's calling out Canada's light-in-the-loafers foreign minister, John Baird. The conservative (with a small "c") women's group is upset with Johnboy for his strident criticism of Russia and Uganda for laws curbing the spread of pro-homosexual propaganda and deviant sexual acts.

The next day Canuck PM Steve "Stephen" Harper joined the war of words. Mr. Harpoon always stands behind his Foreign Minister, which is probably smarter than standing (or bending over) in front of him. Anyway, Steve made it clear that he is all in favour of treating queers just the same as other people. Why, he even has one or two in his cabinet! See today's Huffington Post article, "John Baird's Gay Rights Stance Nothing New For Harper Tories". [What's with the capitalization of every word in the headline? Does no-one follow Strunk & Whyte any more? Ed.]

Also today, Canada's self-styled National Post says "Canadian conservatives divided over Harper government's defence of gay rights". This is news? [Got the capitalization right though. Ed.] We think that if a poll were taken of all Canadians -- not just those of bluish hue -- a majority would agree that Minister Baird is pushing the LGBT agenda more than a bit too hard.

But why would he do that? What we don't understand is how neither the HuffPost nor the NatPost could get through a rather lengthy piece on the controversy without even alluding to Minister Baird's sexual preference. Which brings us back to Wednesday's post. Does no-one in the lamestream media know Mr. Baird's dirty little secret? Or is it just one of those things that we can no longer talk about because we don't want to be accused of being homophobic? Perhaps Mr. Baird should -- as they say in politics -- declare his interest.

Chick fil-A today, eh!

The Cathy family, owners of a smallish chain of fast chicken joints called Chick-fil-A, don't support "gay marriage". They're Christians you see, and have probably read somewhere... like the Bible... that homosexuality is against God's law. It's contrary to the natural order of things. Jews and Muslims believe that too. Or ought to.

Getting back to the Cathys and Chick-fil-A, the family has built a successful business without losing sight of the beliefs and values of the Faith. For instance, their stores close on Sundays, so staff can go to church or at least have time with their families without being forced to work.

When it comes to sodomy, Chick-fil-A's CEO, Dan Cathy, is not afraid to take a public stand against one of today's more popular perversions. Inevitably, he has been called a bigot, a homophobe and all the other epithets hurled by "progressive thinkers" at those who believe God's way is the right way.

It's dangerous, nowadays, to cross the gay lobby. Dan Cathy has been warned, by the mayor of Boston no less, that he'd better not open a store in Beantown. One can just picture mobs of screaming drag queens chucking chicken into the Charles River in protest.

Not all Bostonians feel that way, of course. The Boston Bruins' ace goaltender, Tim Thomas, spoke up in favour of Chick fil-A's right to do business where and as it wishes, and was duly vilified in the lamestream press. Nothing new for Timmy.

The latest public figure to join the debate is Mike Huckabee, former presidential wannabe turned sometime commentator on Fox News. Mike has declared today "Chick-fil-A appreciation day". If you support Dan Cathy's (or anyone's) right to embrace whatever religious beliefs he chooses and express those beliefs openly, you should participate.

If you can't find a Chick-fil-A store, or don't like chicken, you can click here to show your support online. Walt has already posted his comment.

Pro-queer schools agenda returns as "anti-bullying" legislation

On August 6th Walt warned you that the Ontario government is still hell-bent [excellent choice of words! Ed.] on pushing former education minister Kathleen "Sensible Shoes" Wynne's LGBTQ-friendly agenda into Ontario's publicly-funded schools. Yes, even those that are laughingly called "Catholic" schools. (The real Catholic schools, realizing that he who pays the piper calls the tune, remained private when the Catholic boards drank the Kool-aid.)

Six days ago, in "'Don't confuse me! I'm a girl!' sparks homo hissy fit", I wrote about the advertising campaign being mounted by the Institute for Canadian Values. The point is to get the Liberal government of Dalton McGuinty to stop forcing "equity and inclusive education" down the throats (or other orifices) of Ontario students.

But I didn't talk about the Libs' latest tactic. Knowing that gay-friendly programmes -- particularly the "Gay-Straight Alliances" which are being mandated under the latest version of the legislation -- are facing strong opposition, the Queen's Park spinmeisters are now positioning the pro-queer campaign as an exercise in stamping out bullying [queer choice of words! Ed.] in Ontario schools.

How so? Well, today's party line is that the main reason why kids pick on other kids is not because the others are fat or stupid. It's because they're gay, silly! Some of them are openly gay, and others are really gay but just don't realize it yet. They need to be taught that they're gay so they'll know why they're being bullied, and then the Correct-Thinking People can put a stop to it. A stop to bullying, that is, not a stop to being gay.

ICV isn't the only group speaking out against this. A larger and older group, Campaign Life Coalition, comprised of (mostly) Catholics and (some) evangelical Protestants, is calling on concerned parents to lobby their school board trustees and other politicians to block this diabolical deception. Here's a summary of Campaign Life's position on the question.

The primary purpose of Catholic education is to assist Catholic parents in the task of forming their children in the image of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, it is to inculcate in children the knowledge of, love of, and fidelity to, Jesus and the official teachings of the Catholic faith.

Today there are many voices who claim that a primary objective of Catholic education (beyond simple academic knowledge) is to promote "diversity" and "equity". Unfortunately, those terms have been politically twisted. They no longer resemble their original meaning, and now conceal a subversive agenda to undermine Catholic moral and sexual teaching.

Unfortunately, many Canadian Catholic school boards have accepted curriculum, speakers and resources which contradict Catholic teaching, principally in the area of human sexuality.

And it's not just the Christians who are taking up the poliltically incorrect cause. Here, from the Toronto Star, is a picture of Mendel Kaplan, of the Council of Orthodox Rabbis, along with lay leaders from the Catholic and evangelical Protestant communities.

At a press conference on December 12th, they denounced Premier Dalton McGuinty’s anti-bullying legislation, calling it a front for his radical sex education agenda. The man in the middle, Rondo Thomas, said "The anti-bullying legislation that Mr. McGuinty is proposing constitutes a violation of our religious freedoms that are guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and further to that, it violates the common law of separation of church and state."

Mr. Thomas went so far as to quote the premier’s mother. "The premier’s mother said to him, 'Dalton, I didn’t raise you this way'", he said. Jack Fonseca, representing the Campaign Life Coalition, also attacked McGuinty’s faith, calling him a "convenient Catholic" who proclaims his faith only at election time when he needs Catholic votes.

"Dalton McGuinty is unfortunately not a great Catholic on the moral issues," Mr. Fonseca said. "He supports abortion on demand, taxpayer funding of abortion and he supports gay marriage."

Fonseca accused the premier of misleading Ontarians as to the real meaning of the anti-bullying legislation, which he called "an attack on faith-based schools". Rabbi Kaplan agreed, saying he believes "the legislation encroaches on our religious freedoms."

Final comment (for today) from Walt: Ontario is not the only place where the powerful LGBT lobby is pushing its let's-all-be-queer agenda. Nor is Ontario the only place where nominally Catholic politicians totally disregard the teachings of their religion when crunch-time comes. Believers, stand up for what you know is right!

"Don't confuse me! I'm a girl!" sparks homo hissy fit

Remember "Don't confuse me! I'm a girl!"? Back in the fall, Walt told you about this ad, placed in Canada's National Post and other media by the Institute for Canadian Values.

Charles McVety, president of ICV, said parents were outraged that their children were being forced to study LGBTQ propaganda, not to mention being forced to do gender role plays and make posters for Gay Pride parades. The ad asked ICV members and like-minded citizens to call on the leaders of Ontario's three main parties to commit to removing age-inappropriate gender teaching from the school curriculum.

The election came and went. None of the three main parties addressed the sex-ed issue. The ruling Liberal Party was returned to power (albeit with only a minority in the province's legislature) and life -- including the promotion of deviant "lifestyles" -- goes on as usual in the Province of Opportunity.

So, nothing deterred, the ICV produced a made-for-TV version. Here it is.

The ad ran on Sun News, otherwise known as "Fox News North". Reaction was as swift as it was predictable. QMI columnist Brian Lilley reports, in "A question of free speech, not homophobia", that a Toronto high school teacher, former NDP candidate and gay activist, has written a letter to the board of directors of the parent company of Sun News, listing seven demands.

If the demands are not met, the pinkish person says, he will take Sun News to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council and the Advertising Standards Council of Canada. Oddly, nothing was said about a prosecution under the notorious Section 13 of Human Rights Act. Perhaps that's because a bill to repeal said section is now before the Canadian House of Commons.

So what do the LGBTQs want? They want an investigation into how the ad was approved and disciplinary action taken against those responsible. They want the money from the ad given to a transgendered charity, approved of by the writer of the threatening letter. And they want Sun TV to give a similar charity two hours’ of free ad time to put forward their point of view.

But that's not all. The mad-as-a-wet-hen teacher also wants anyone in the company earning more than $90,000 a year to undergo a three-hour "re-education camp", which he calls "sensitivity training...to build awareness and sensitivity of trans, transsexual, transgender, two-spirited and intersex identities."

And of course, any further airing of the ad, or anything like it, would be verboten. Indeed, the PC policepersons argue, ICV shouldn't be allowed to buy any time or any space, anywhere, for anything.

Ah... free speech. Dontcha love it? But of course freedom of speech is only permitted to those whose thoughts are correct.

PS - The Ontario election is over but you're still welcome to sign the ICV petition.
