Ratings death awaits new woke Family Guy
You read it here first. Walt predicts Family Guy will be cancelled at the end of the current season. Now I'll tell you why.
I watched the latest episode last night. The plot was this. Lois sees the Browns having a family fun day, and decides the Griffins need to do that. They try card games and a make-your-own-pizza party. No fun. So they decide to have a movie night, with videos from Blockbuster. But the last remaining Blockbuster in the USA is in Bend OR, so the family goes on a road trip. That, right there, is your cue to start the death watch for Family Guy. It's turned into a wholesome Norman Lear sitcom! No-one, with the possible exception of Blockbuster [Do they still exist? Ed.] could be offended. And no-one laughs either.
Think about it, fans. It's 2022 in Brandon's America. Humor is forbidden. Nothing's funny anymore, because nothing is allowed to be funny. Consider this list of Family Guy characters we used to laugh at (or laugh with), who have disappeared or been reduced to minor roles, all in the name of political correctness.
Stewie Griffin - Once a precocious but malicious baby who was a central part of most shows, he has now become snarky but cute and loveable. He used to be best friends with Brian, the dog, the only one who understood him, and they had many excellent adventures together. Now Stewie only gets one or two one-liners per show, when he appears at all.
Brian Griffin - Once so popular that an attempt to kill him off flopped, and he had to be brought back from the dead. Like Stewie, Brian is no longer a central character. Maybe it's because we don't make fun of alcoholics. More likely, it's because he was a parody of progressive pseudo-intellectuals, who are people we must now take seriously.
Brian has a cousin, Jasper, who we no longer see or hear about, because Jasper is as gay as 18 balloons. The choices people make as to their gender identity are not to be mocked any more.
Glenn Quagmire - A resolutely heterosexual sex fiend and chicken-hawk, who is not an appropriate role model for middle-aged men. No more "Giggidy giggidy goo!"
Joe Swanson - Also playing a much-reduced role. How could anyone stoop so low as to make fun of persons who are differently-abled?! For the same reason, we no longer see or hear Angela, Peter's deaf co-worker at the brewery. Ditto Opie, who is not deaf but... errr... [you can't use the R-word! Ed.]
Then there are the gay characters, who only make cameos now that it's normal to be gay, like Bruce Straight (pictured, since some of you may not recognize his name). Bruce is a caricature of the sad, middle-aged homo who should be loved, not shunned, for his contributions to the community. You may know someone like him in your community, perhaps a Boy Scout leader or a priest.John Herbert is a 90-year-old pederast, profiled on WWW almost eight years ago. He used to be the Griffins' neighbour. I never heard that he'd moved, but somehow we no longer see him. Perhaps that's because pedophilia isn't funny. Indeed, some progressive thinkers argue that there's nothing wrong with it.
Other faces on the cutting-room floor are those of the (((Goldmans))). Muriel, the wife of pharmacist Mort Goldman, died a couple of years back, but Mort still had his drugstore, and his son Neil, was still trying to get a date with Meg, or anybody at Adam West High School. But we must now recognize that anti-Semitism is a lingering and serious problem in our society, so Jewish stereotypes are no longer permissible.
Speaking of stereotypes, Walt wonders what became of Consuela, pictured at top. It was never clear whether or not Consuela was a legal immigrant or an "undocument migrant". Notice I didn't say "illegal alien", let alone "wetback". There are no such people any more, so we can't make fun of them.
Seth MacFarlane and his colleagues seem not to have figured out what to do with the Browns, who weren't quite a stereotypical African-American family, in that Cleveland Brown, the father was still present, working to support his wife and children. The Browns live in a neighbour hood which would apparently be all-white, except for them, so they're still regulars.
Jerome is another black stereotype, but a good one. The new owner of the Drunken Clam, he's the successful businessman that we know all black dudes could be if they weren't the victims of slavery, racism and injustice. Even so, we don't see much of him because he's a little too... errr... Black, as we learned in the episode where it was revealed that he once dated Lois.
I could go on [No, you can't. Ed.] OK, let me conclude by observing that with the cancellation of all these characters, what we're left with is the basic Griffin family -- stupid father, smarter mother, and two kids suffering from teenage angst. In other words, a typical American TV family in the Age of Woke. Hence my prediction. Lifetime pct .980.

Vatican's "Gay Mafia" blocks discussion of abuse by homosexual priests
The prelate told WaPo that the sexual abuse crisis would be "far less severe" if the "problem of homosexuality in the priesthood were honestly acknowledged and properly addressed.... Given the overwhelming evidence, it is mind-boggling that the word 'homosexuality' has not appeared once, in any of the recent official documents of the Holy See." Instead, he said, a "gay Mafia" among the bishops, seeking to protect themselves, was "sabotaging all efforts at reform."

VIDEO: Crisis in the Church is not all Francis' fault, sez Michael Matt
How did the Church fall so low? Where did Francis come from? How does his "Church of Accompaniment" fit into the whole Vatican II revolution against the Mass, the priesthood and Catholic Tradition? What can we learn from Pope John Paul's inter-religious day of pagan and Christian prayer for peace at Assisi on 27 October 1986? Has everyone forgotten life before the latest Unholy Father? Mr Matt also comments on Michael Voris' latest attack on the Society of St Pius X.
A suggestion for Christmas giving: If you like Michael Matt's videos from the Underground, if you agree with what the voices of Catholic tradition are saying, may we suggest making a donation to The Remnant. American taxpayers will get a tax deduction.
AND, if you're Catholic and have not yet found your way to a chapel of the Society of St. Pius X, click here to find one near you -- a good place to hear Midnight Mass, in Latin according to the traditional rite, the way it should be. VIDEO: Vatican cover-up of homosexual crimes leaves no choice for Catholics -- leave the Church or join us "rad trads"
Yes, dear Catholic (and other) friends, you read that right. More than five years after Francis announced his plan to set up a special commission to recommend plans and policies for "the prevention of abuse of minors and vulnerable adults", the situation has, if anything, worsened. So what to do? Have another meeting! And did I mention when the meeting will be held? In February of next year! Until then, according to the Cardinal Archbishop of Chicago, the Pope will be too busy talking about climate change and being nice to refugees. "We won't be going down that rabbit hole!" (Actual quote from Cardinal Cupich. See "Cardinal Cupich goes off the deep end", with excellent video by Michael Matt, WWW 4/9/18.)
The TOR (Terms Of Reference) for the meeting look to have been drawn up by a team of Vatican lawyers -- the type of men who can pick fly-specks out of pepper with boxing gloves on. The scope of the meeting is carefully limited to preclude any discussion of the plague of sodomy between priests and "consenting adults" aged 18 or over. That leaves plenty of room for actively homosexual priests, bishops, cardinals and... others... to continue their activity.
Francis obviously has no intention of addressing the influence of a homosexual network among the clergy unless its activity involves an actual rape prosecutable under civil law. Even then, however, the cover-ups will continue as much as possible in the current climate of public scrutiny. The Gay Mafia wins again!
So... time for another video -- the second I've reposted this month -- featuring Michael J. Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper. In "Michael Matt talks about calls for Pope Francis to resign, calls Archbishop Viganò 'Instrument of Divine Intervention'", WWW 2/9/18, I said "Mr Matt just keeps getting better and better. Perhaps he is driven to outdo himself by the increasingly parlous state of the Roman Catholic Church." In his latest video, Mr Matt not only steps outside the box but also smashes it to bits as he analyses what's really going on with the clerical sex abuse crisis.
"What is the Viganò Effect? How do Vatican II and the New Mass come into this? With the Catholic Church clearly occupied, should faithful Catholics just join the lynch mob? What's a faithful Catholic to do?" You'll find Mr Matt's carefully reasoned answer in the last few minutes. Dear Catholic readers, the time has come!

Pope has known about gay sex scandals in US Church for years
The accusation comes as Francis tours Ireland, playing the old humble card yet again as he begs for forgiveness for decades of Catholic abuse, not just in America but in Eire, Chile and... well, if you're part of the Gay Mafia, the world's your playground.
Archbishop Viganò stated his case in an 11-page letter published today. In his testimony, the prelate said he told the pope, "Holy Father, I don't know if you know Cardinal McCarrick, but if you ask the Congregation of Bishops, there is a dossier this thick about him. He corrupted generations of seminarians and priests and Pope Benedict ordered him to withdraw to a life of prayer and penance."
Abp Viganò goes on to say that he was surprised, shortly thereafter, to see that instead of being sent into seclusion, the cardinal molester began travelling on missions on behalf of the Church. He reportedly went to China, and was known to have been one of the Vatican's intermediaries involved in talks between the US and Cuba talks in 2014.
A cascade of child sex abuse scandals dating back to 2002 have shaken the foundations of the Roman Catholic Church. The latest revelations came just this month in Pennsylvania, where a grand jury report found that 300 priests had abused more than 1000 children, mostly boys, in six dioceses for a period of some seven decades.
Abp Viganò's "Testimony" is highly substantiated and charges other important cardinals, from Pietro Parolin (aka "Peter the Roman") to Sean Patrick O'Malley to Óscar Andrés Rodríguez Maradiaga. It is absolutely a must-read, and you can access it, in its entirety, by clicking here.
Archbishop Viganò's letter railed against "homosexual networks present in the Church", with the word "homosexual" appearing 18 times. After PA revelations, Cardinal Burke decries "gay culture" in Church
In the aftermath of the release of the names of the hundreds of Roman Catholic clergy guilty of the sexual abuse of minors, and the Vatican's delayed and limp-wristed "shame and sorrow" response -- things have got to the point where someone in authority needs to come clean about the Church's dirty hyuge secret. American Cardinal Raymond Burke has done so in an interview with Catholic Action, published yesterday. The fundamental problem, said the prelate, is not so much pedophilia as homosexuality within the ranks of the clergy, right up to the very highest levels. The existence of the Gay Mafia in the Vatican has been an open secret for years. See, for example, "Second sex scandal in Rome! Pope asks forgiveness... from whom?", WWW 14/10/15. After this week's revelations of sexual abuse, the Cardinal called for "open recognition" of the Church's homosexual culture. "I believe that there needs to be an open recognition that we have a very grave problem of a homosexual culture in the Church," he said, "especially among the clergy and the hierarchy, that needs to be addressed honestly and efficaciously."
A prominent canon lawyer, Cardinal Burke is often perceived as a voice of traditionalism and orthodoxy among prelates of the Catholic Church. In recent years, he has clashed publicly with Pope Francis, vigorously opposing attempts by Francis and other bishops to relax Church attitudes towards gays and people who have divorced and remarried outside the Church, and has spoken of the need to "formally correct" the Pope in relation to Amoris laetitia.
In this week's interview, Cardinal Burke said it was already "clear after the studies following the 2002 sexual abuse crisis that most of the acts of abuse were in fact homosexual acts committed with adolescent young men. There was a studied attempt to either overlook or to deny this," he said, referring to the lamestream media cover-up of the homosexual nature of the abuse as well as such denial within the church itself. "Now it seems clear in light of these recent terrible scandals that indeed there is a homosexual culture, not only among the clergy but even within the hierarchy, which needs to be purified at the root."
What do you think are the chances of the clergy and hierarchy being purified? Walt sez: somewhere between slim and none. Lifetime pct .992.

VIDEO: British politician's gay lover murder plot to be reinvestigated
Let me set this up for you.
The gentleman -- absolutely the right word -- at the centre of the picture, and of a very English scandal, is the Hon. Jeremy Thorpe, since deceased. Mr Thorpe was at all material times (the hippy-dippy 60s) the leader of the Liberal Party, since folded into the moribund Liberal Democratic Party. The gentleman (?) at the left is Norman Scott, who was alleged to be Mr Thorpe's homosexual lover, this at a time when proper British society didn't ask and didn't tell. In fact, at that time, homosexual acts were still criminal offences in the United Kingdom
The gentleman at the right is Andrew Newton, who was convicted of killing Mr Scott's wee dog in what (Mr Newton alleged) was actually a plot to kill Mr Scott himself. The plot was allegedly masterminded by Mr Thorpe, who, as mentioned above, is dead now. He and three others were charged with conspiracy to murder, but were acquitted following a sensational trial at the Old Bailey in 1979. In the video, Peter Cook gives what he imagines to have been the judge's charge to the jury.
Following the acquittal, the British public demanded justice, since no-one other than Mr Newton had been convicted of anything substantial, and a lot of taxpayers' money had been wasted. A while later -- 2015, to be exact -- the BBC produced a documentary in which it claimed that the police had altered the evidence of another person hired to kill Mr Scott. The investigation was duly reopened, but closed again after they concluded that Mr Newton, who was still the key suspect, was as dead as Mr Thorpe.
Mr Scott, who is now 78 but very much alive, told the BBC, "I just don’t think anyone's tried hard enough to look for [Mr Newton]. I really don't. I thought [Gwent Police] were doing something at last and soon found out that absolutely they weren't, they were continuing the cover-up as far as I can see."
Imagine the coppers' embarrassment when they had to annouonce, a few days ago, that they were reopening the case after finding information indicating Mr Newton may still be, errr, as alive as Mr Scott. In a statement to the BBC, they said: "Enquiries were completed which indicated Mr Newton was deceased. We have now revisited these enquiries and have identified information, which indicates that Mr Newton may still be alive.
As a result, further enquiries will be conducted to trace Mr Newton to assess if he is able to assist the investigation."
This may take a while, but do stay tuned, won't you?

LGBT... what next?
Besides, there was something pejorative about "black", or "dark-complected", not to mention "darkie" (as in toothpaste) or the N-word. So some genius came up with "African-American", which for most black Americans was as ridiculous as calling us white folks "European-Americans". And so we went back to "persons of colour", which sounds a lot like "coloured" to me. I don't know which term is politically correct now, and I don't care.
The same nomenclatural problem exists with people we used to call "queers". Not so long ago, that was pejorative term, right up there with "fairies", "faggots" and other quaint expressions we used -- yes, I admit it -- to describe homosexuals. But then the homos embraced the Q-word, as in "We're here! We're queer! Get used to it!" And so Q was added to LGBT, as in "the LGBTQ community", referring to the alleged 10% of us who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, and/or otherwise queer.
But apparently five terms isn't enough for the proponents of aggressive gender ideology. The concept of "gender fluidity" -- today I'm a guy but tomorrow I might feel like a girl, or vice versa -- led to the addition of "2S", which stands for "two-spirited". It's not your physical gender, you see, but how you feel about it! Don't be surprised if Barack Hussein Obama stretches his pro-LGBT bathroom laws to include those who feel like "the other sex"... at the moment.
Would LGBTQ2S be the end of it? As recently as this January, I thought so, but I was wrong. (Lifetime pct .984.) Now the PC police have told us we can drop the "Q2S" -- perhaps because "queer" is still a loaded word and "2S" is just stupid -- but add an "I", which stands for "intersex". Seriously...
"Intersex" is how the Australian Department of Health refers to people whose sexual characteristics don't fit neatly into the "male" or "female" categories. Wikipedia tells us such people "do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies. Such variations may involve genital ambiguity, and combinations of chromosomal genotype and sexual phenotype other than XY-male and XX-female. Intersex people were previously referred to as hermaphrodites, but the term has fallen out of favor as it is considered to be misleading and stigmatizing. Since 2006, intersex traits have controversially [sic] been described by medicine as disorders of sex development."
So there you have it, folks. "LGBTI" is the latest politically correct term for people we used to call "queers". Remember that as your city/state/province/country/whatever celebrates Gay Pride Day/Week/Month/Year/Whatever.

Liberals move to enshrine LGBTQ(etc) rights in Canadian law
One of Walt's assiduous Ontarian readers sent the pic along with this note:
For all my friends who live outside of Canada, the person in blue is the Liberal Premier of the Canadian Province of Ontario.
The Person in grey and white is the "wife" of the Liberal Premier of the Canadian Province of Ontario.
As for the rest of "The Family" - no comment!
I promise I will never laugh at California again!
Ontario's first family -- really brings a tear to your eye doesn't it!
Well, no. Walt's are quite dry. Had they been misted over, I would have missed the news that, to mark BNTTF Day (or whatever it was), Canada's Liberal government introduced in Parliament a bill, C-16, to add "gender identity" to that country's assorted human rights acts and codes, so that poor oppressed people who aren't happy with the way God made them can change to "the other" without fear of not being able to get a job or a house or a seat in the women's washroom!
Agent 3 points out that discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation has been illegal in Canada for years, but apparently the laws didn't specifically mention the transgendered crowd, so Bill C-16 is going to remedy that omission. There will be no "bathroom laws" in Canada, so everybody's happy now, except perhaps normal people. But who [or what. Ed.] is "normal" these days?

New Mississippi law makes it no state for queers
The intent of the law is to protect those who believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman, that sexual relations should only take place inside such marriages, and that male and female genders are unchangeable. Those people are known as Christians.
The law allows churches, religious charities and privately held businesses to decline services to people violating those beliefs. Individual government employees may also opt out, although the measure says governments must still provide services.
I will pause now to insert my earplugs, against the noise of righteous indignation from the gay rights gang, lamestream media and Hellery Clinton.

Second sex scandal in Rome! Pope asks forgiveness... from whom?
First we had the scandalous affair of Monsignor Krzysztof Charamsa, a Polish theologian who, for the past 17 years, has been living in Rome. Until he was abruptly dismissed on October 3rd, he had worked as an official in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith! He was dismissed from his position in the CDF and relieved from teaching assignments in pontifical universities in Rome, following his coming out as a flaming homosexual. See "Priest in Vatican's Gay Mafia outs himself, gets fired" (WWW 3/10/15)
A Vatican spokesthingy bearing a passing resemblance to Fr. Federico Lombardi said at the time that Msgr Charamsa's high-profile coming out on the eve of the Synod was "grave and irresponsible". He was accused of trying to exert "undue media pressure" on the bishops' debate on family issues, including the Church's position on homosexuality and homosexuals.
Today, Pope Francis asked for forgiveness on Wednesday for scandals at the Vatican and in Rome, an apparent reference to the case of Msgr Charamsa and a scandal exposed in the Italian media last week about an order of priests who run a parish in an upscale neighbourhood of Rome.
According to Reuters, parishioners of Santa Teresa d'Avila parish wrote to local Church officials alleging that a clergyman there had had encounters with "vulnerable adults". Newspapers said these took place in an adjacent park often frequented by male prostitutes. Their letter said they had assembled evidence about the clergyman's illicit activities and were furious to discover that, instead of being disciplined, he had been transferred to another part of Italy.
The Holy Father was less specific. During his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square, Pope Francis said, "Today...in the name of the Church, I ask you for forgiveness for the scandals that have occurred recently either in Rome or in the Vatican." That's all.
Asked what the Pope meant, Father Lombardi -- for it was he, as always -- was unwilling or unable to say which scandals His Holiness had in mind. But, he said, said Francis wanted to reach out to ordinary people who are "disturbed or pained" when they read about scandals caused by "the Church or men of the Church".

The new ranch hand
A successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was a very good-looking woman and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand.
Two cowboys applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk. She thought long and hard about it, and when no one else applied she decided to hire the gay guy, figuring it would be safer to have him around the house than the drunk.
He proved to be a hard worker who put in long hours every day and knew a lot about ranching. For weeks, the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing very well. Then one day, the widow said to the hired hand, "You've done a really good job, and the ranch looks great. You should go into town and kick up your heels."
The hired hand readily agreed and went into town one Saturday night. One o'clock came, however, and he didn't return. Two o'clock and no hired hand. Around 2:30 he finally returned. Upon entering the living room, he found the rancher's widow sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, waiting for him.
She quietly called him over to her. "Unbutton my blouse and take it off," she said.
Trembling, he did as she directed. "Now take off my boots."
He did as she asked, ever so slowly. "Now take off my socks."
He removed each gently and placed them neatly by her boots.
"Now take off my skirt." He slowly unbuttoned it, constantly watching her eyes in the fire light.
"Now take off my bra." Again, with trembling hands, he did as he was told and dropped it to the floor.
Then she looked at him and said, "If you ever wear my clothes into town again, you're fired."
Ed. again. I didn't see it coming either.

2014 Vatican Synod's "Welcome gays!" moment was rigged!
The Gay Mafia at the Vatican must think that faithful Catholics have short memories. Come October, the pro-LGBT gang in Rome -- which may/may not include Pope Francis -- will try again to push their agenda through a second "Synod on Family Life", which wags like Agent 10 have already dubbed "Vatican III".The goal of the Synod is to rectify the unimaginable political incorrectness of the Synod held in October 2014, at which a majority of cardinals and bishops had the temerity to reject an "interim report" recommending that the Church demonstrate more "openness to gays and their gifts and qualities". See "Majority of bishops reject "Welcome gays!" (WWW, 18/10/14).
The bishops failed to approve even a watered-down version of the section on ministering to gays, which stripped away the welcoming tone contained in the "interim report". Two other paragraphs concerning the other hot-button issue at the Synod -- whether divorced and civilly remarried Catholics can receive communion -- also failed to pass.
Why? Because the "updating" of the Church rules on these subjects would be contrary to God's law and nearly two millennia of Catholic teaching! See "Catholic bishops say "interim report" asking Church to welcome homosexuals grossly misrepresented by pro-LGBT media" (WWW 14/10/14).
So how did those proposals get on the table? Aha, that's the BIG question, and journalist Edward Pentin provides the answer in The Rigging of a Vatican Synod? An Investigation of Alleged Manipulation at the Extraordinary Synod on the Family (Ignatius Press, 2015).
The book, excerpted this week by Catholic World Report, tells how the 2014 Synod of Bishops' controversial interim report came to include the paragraphs on homosexuality and cohabitation that provoked strong reactions from several prominent synod participants. See "Even a liberal Cardinal calls pro-LGBT Synod report 'worthless'" (WWW 16/10/14).
Mr. Pentin quotes Father Stephen Fawcett, a Synod staff aide who was keeping the official diary of the proceedings, as saying the interim report was not an accurate reflection of the bishops' discussions. "It just was not."
And Wilfrid Cardinal Napier of South Africa observed that the document -- prepared a small cadre of prelates organized by Lorenzo Cardinal Baldisseri, the secretary-general of the Synod -- was released by the Vatican Press Office even before the Synod fathers saw it.
Mr. Pentin points the finger at Cardinal Baldisseri, but Walt (and many others) would like to know who appointed the prelate to be secretary-general of the Synod? Whose agenda was the Cardinal pushing... or following? And who's in charge of this year's Synod? Oh... wait... According to the Vatican website, it's none other than... wait for it... Lorenzo Cardinal Baldisseri!

Anonymous threatens to reveal John Baird's "secret"
The National Post reports today that the hackers are threatening to release decrypted text messages from former Foreign Affairs Minister John "Nancy" Baird which allegedly reveal the real reason why he abruptly left his position [assumed position? Ed.] in early February.
The warning was made in the Twitterverse from an account which the Post says is one that has been operated by activists responsible for previous leaks of confidential information from the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service [sic]. Here's the Tweet.
Whatever could they be talking about?! The Post says the hacktivists presented no evidence to support their claim. Johnboy, of course, declined to comment, as did the buggers at the Department of Foreign Affairs. So, it's up to Walt to poke a hole in their rubbers.
The reason why Mr. Baird, who was one of the highest-profile members of Steve Harper’s cabinet, quit suddenly to join the private sector was revealed right here on WWW in February. See "Canada's Foreign Minister finally comes out of the...errr... cabinet".
That Mr. Baird is as gay as 18 balloons has been an open secret in Ottawa for years. That's why his appointment as Foreign Minister made so much sense. The Department of Foreign Affairs Etc. is home to a large and influential gay mafia, so putting Johnboy on top was, errr, a natural fit.
The only reason that Walt can think of for CSIS to take an interest in the Mr. Baird's "alternative lifestyle" is the possibility that he was risking not just getting AIDS, but blackmail by a jilted lover or even a queer spy.
Such things are not unknown, even in staid old Canada. In 1963, the Associate Minister of National Defence, Pierre Sévigny, was forced to resign when it was disclosed that he had had an affair with Gerda Munsinger, an East German prostitute who lived in Ottawa and worked as a spy for the Soviet Union. M. Sévigny's dalliance with the beautiful Gerda was heterosexual, of course, but that was half a century ago, before homosexuality was made not just acceptable but, in certain circles, mandatory!
@OpAnonDown has not given any timeline for the release of this not-so-hot news flash. Perhaps they won't bother. Or perhaps Mr. Baird will preempt them by outing himself. Remember, you read it hear first. Lifetime pct .976.

"I can't bake you a cake, because I love you"
And suppose you're a baker, one whose business it is to create, among other things, wedding cakes for couples who are about to celebrate their marriage. According to the politically correct laws of the land -- many US states and all of Canada -- that would include gay couples intent on entering into a same-sex "marriage".
Advocates of same-sex "marriage" -- Walt puts the word in quotes because a union between two men or two women cannot be a valid "marriage" sanctioned and blessed by God -- want to force Christian bakers to bake cakes celebrating such "marriages". If they don't, they face civil or even criminal penalties for refusing to do what their religion and conscience forbid them to do.
In "I Can't Bake Your Cake, Because I Love You", published yesterdary on Aleteia, a website for searchers for the truth, Dr. Dennis Bonnette argues that the Christian's refusal to accept the custom of a homosexual couple is not an act of homophobia or hate, the PC lamestream media would have us believe, but an act of love.
Dr. Bonnette has been mentioned before here on WWW. Until his retirement in 2003, he was a Full Professor of Philosophy at Niagara University in Lewiston NY. He is the author of Aquinas' Proofs for God's Existence and Origin of the Human Species: Third Edition. He is presently teaching free courses in philosophy at the Aquinas School of Philosophy in Lewiston. Agent 10 (to whom much thanks for sharing this) attends regularly, and will send you details if you let me know your e-address.
