Strangely believe it Dept: What's wrong with this ad?

This public service advertisement was published by the government of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan to remind the public that AIDS is still a "thing" worthy of having its own Day.

"So?" I hear you ask, "What's wrong with that?" My dear, didn't you get the memo? The ad gives the impression that HIV/AIDS is a "gay disease", to which homosexuals are more susceptible than others, and that's a myth -- a myth -- according to the Dictionary of Political Correctness. [Isn't a myth a female moth? Ed.]

The ink was barely dry on the print version of the ad when the lamestream press and some social media users [Not us! Ed.] condemned the government's use of a same-sex couple to promote World AIDS Day.

In a display of wokeness stunning even by Canadian standards, the government withdrew the ad and issued this statement: "Yesterday in marking World AIDS Day, Government of Saskatchewan social media pages used a photo that stigmatized HIV/AIDS and those that live with the disease. The photo has been deleted, and we unreservedly apologize."
