UPDATED: One less Sikh truck driver on Ontario roads

The highways of Ontario are a little bit safer today, with Taranpreet Singh Sidhu, pictured, off the roads and in the morgue.

The 29-year-old immigrated to Canada from India in 2022 to study at the notorious Singh School of Truck driving. Until this week, he lived in Brampton (surprised?) and Halifax while working as a driver for DiversityTruck Lines.

On Wednesday morning, his body was found, partly submerged in water, in a sewage culvert [No tasteless jokes, please. Ed.] at the north end of Fruitland Road in Stoney Creek ON. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Inspector Singh (no relation) of the Hamilton police said, "Following the initial investigation, detectives have confirmed Mr Sidhu’s death is the result of a homicide. Investigators are not releasing the cause of death at this time as the investigation remains ongoing." 

"Investigators have conducted an extensive video canvas in the area where Mr. Sidhu was located and continue to review surveillance and digital evidence while interviewing witnesses to establish his movements leading up to his death," the shamus added. "While detectives continue to pursue all investigative avenues, they are not prepared to release information regarding the 18-wheeler believed to have been used to transport Mr Sidhu."

UPDATE ADDED 23/7/26: According to a report in the Toronto Sun, Hamilton Police are now working with the Peel Regional Police on the investigation and have said they are |"confident" that the long-haul trucker was murdered elsewhere. 

Inspector Singh (no relation) told the Hamilton Spectator yesterday that investigators have identified the second crime scene in the murder. That scene is located in Brampton and connected to the trucking industry. Surprised?

Your Singhs today: British Columbia double murder edition

For some time, "Your Sikhs today" has been a standing headline on WWW. Every day we receive tips and leads to news of crimes -- criminally dangerous driving, extortion, arson, drug smuggling, and murder -- committed by Sikhs living (legally or otherwise) in our countries. All Sikh men bear "Singh" as a surname or middle name.

As I said, we receive such news every day, but Ed. declared a moratorium on posting such, not because we cavil at fanning the flames of anti-Sikh sentiment (especially in British Columbia and Ontario) but because our readers are getting bored, as witness the declining number of "hits" on such articles. Today's story, however, is so horrific that it cannot pass unnoticed.

Yesterday, three Sikhs men from Surrey BC were found guilty of killing an Abbotsford BC senior couple in their home. Pictures of the murderous Singhs are hard to find. Some meeja outlets have confused them with the "Surrey 3" implicated in the 2023 assassination of Sikh extremist leader Hardeel Singh Nijjar. So Ed. has inset a court artist's drawing into a photo of their victims.

In a crime reminiscent of the movie In Cold Blood, the elderly couple, Arnold and Joanne De Jong, were murdered in their Abbotsford home in May of 2022 by Abhijeet Singh, Gurkaran Singh, and Khushveer Singh Toor. 

Dismissing the "botched robbery" defence put forward at trial, Justice Brenda Brown accepted the Crown's argument that the three men were motivated by "debt, financial pressure and greed" when they  planned the home invasion and murders.

Evidence was presented during the trial that they used the De Jongs' credit cards, driver's licence and cheques to make purchases, pay off debt, withdraw cash and send money to relatives in India. Said the judge, "I’m satisfied that the murders of both victims were carefully planned, deliberated and executed. I’m satisfied that each accused is guilty of first-degree murder."

The bodies of the De Jongs were discovered on the morning of 9 May 2022 in their home on a rural road in east Abbotsford. Arnold De Jong owned two trucking companies and was a stereotype of the rich farmer portrayed stories like In Cold Blood. 

The court heard that Joanne De Jong, 76, was found in her bed with her hands and feet tied by rope and surrounded by a “significant amount” of blood. A pathologist determined she had died as a result of "sharp-force trauma" – stab wounds to her neck, possibly caused by a screwdriver – and "blunt-force trauma" to her head, possibly inflicted by a hammer. 

Arnold De Jong, 77, was also found in bed – in a separate bedroom – with his hands and feet also bound, and his entire head and face tightly wrapped in duct tape. His cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation due to smothering. 

The court heard that the three Sikhs, who all lived together in Surrey BC, knew the De Jongs because Abhijeet Singh owned and ran a cleaning company, and the two others worked for him. They had done work at the De Jong home in July 2021 and April 2022. 

The Crown had argued that all three should share culpability no matter who inflicted the mortal injuries. Each of the defence lawyers argued that the killings were not premeditated – a requirement of first-degree murder – and that there was no evidence to directly link their client to the murders. The defence lawyers each argued that their clients might have participated in the home invasion, but they were not involved in the actual killing.

Justic Brown said, "The suggestion that anyone in the house would not have been aware of what was going on is unrealistic, and I reject any evidence suggesting otherwise." Both Abhijeet Singh and Khushveer Singh Toor had cleaned the De Jong residence a month before the killings, the judge found, and knew they would be recognized by the couple during the robbery. "Because of this, they could not leave the De Jongs alive at the conclusion of the home invasion. Even if the invaders were masked, the police would likely be able to learn their identities in short order."

Victim impact statements will be heard later this month. Under Canadian law, the murderous Sikhs will be sentenced to life imprisonment with no chance of parole for 25 years. However, our legal expert reminds us, there is a loophole -- the "faint hope" clause in the Criminal Code -- which says parole eligibility hearings may be held earlier in certain cases. 

What if the Singhs raise the argument that they are actually political prisoners, since they were raising money to help in the fight for a Free Khalistan? Don't dismiss the possibility that a typically liberal Canadian adjudicator might just buy that!

True Names division of our True Crime Dept.

The following story appeared today on Canada's Global TV News. Pretty much a typical Toronto news story, except for the names of the shooter and shootee, which you have to admit are unusual, even for the marginalized community.

A Vaughan man who admitted to killing a Toronto-area rap artist but argued he was not guilty due to a mental disorder that rendered him not criminally responsible (NCR) has been found guilty of first-degree murder. Superior Court Justice Maureen Forestell accepted that Nirusan Shakespearethas was suffering from a mental disorder when he shot and killed 24-year-old Stephen Little-McClacken on July 16, 2022, just outside Scotiabank Arena. 

However, Judge Forestell found that Shakespearethas could appreciate the moral wrongfulness of his actions at the time of the killing and was therefore criminally responsible. "The actions of Mr. Shakespearethas before, during and after the shooting are not consistent with Mr. Shakespearethas' account that he was experiencing command hallucinations, hearing voices and seeing demons. He had a long-standing animus with Mr. Little-McClacken. The reason for his animus is not clear. Before the killing, he researched 'how to get away with murder,' not 'how to kill the devil.'" 

Shakespearethas testified at trial that he believed that Little-McClacken, a rap artist who performed under the name "YB Stainz," was the devil and said he killed him to save the world. Judge Forestell said she rejected Shakespearethas' account of his thinking at the time of the killing because there were many inconsistencies in the accounts he gave to various medical professionals and during his testimony at trial.

"I find that Mr. Shakespearethas' account of his thinking at the time of the shooting evolved over time. I find that Mr. Shakespearethas exaggerated some symptoms and fabricated others. The nature and frequency of his reported symptoms increased with each assessment."

According to an agreed statement of facts, Shakespearethas fired 12 rounds. At least eight shots struck Little-McClacken, including two to the head. Forestell said the inconsistencies in Shakespearethas' account included whether or not the two had met in person before, his reason for buying a gun, the hallucinations he reported seeing before and during the killing and the timing of his decision to kill Little-McClacken.

Murdered by injustice

Here's a mug shot of Manpreet Singh, a typical Brampton ON man who is no longer in Brampton. Why? Because he's on the lam, believed by police to have caught the next plane to India (location of "free Khalistan") after having murdered 27-year-old Amanpreet Saini, a North York woman and co-religionist. 

Ms Sami's lifeless body was found with traumatic injuries at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln ON, part of Niagara Region, earlier this week. For reasons known only to themselves (so far), police have issued a Canada-wide warrant charging Mr Singh with second-degree murder. The cops figured Mr Singh had left Canada when he failed to show up for his regular shift at DiversityTransport Ltd.

Sounds like an honour killing, doesn't it? Actually, no. Such crimes are more common amongst followers of the Prophet. Sikh men are more likely to kill their women in some sort of crime of passion -- rejection of a marriage proposal, for example -- hence the charge of second-degree murder. 

With typical Canadian political correctness, police have said nothing about Mr Singh's citizenship -- he's assumed to be an Indian national -- or his status in Canada, which we can safely assume is "irregular". If our assumption turns out to be wrong, we'll post an apology here. Don't hold your breath.

UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" in Manchester UK

Today is Yom Kippur -- the Day of Atonement -- the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. In grimy Manchester, a post-industrial city in the Disunited Kingdom, there are two fewer Jews to attone.

And one less [insert whatever adjective you think fits] terrorist two. Police say they have shot a suspect in an attack outside a synagogue in the north of Manchester in which two people were killed, adding they are treating it as a "terrorist" attack. 

Greater Manchester Police said in a series of posts on X today that they were called to the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall shortly after 0930 BST by a member of the public, who said he had witnessed a car being rammed into people and that one man had been stabbed. 

Police confirmed that two people were killed in the attack, and a third person, suspected to be the attacker, who was shot dead by police. The Peelers could not confirm if the suspect was dead "due to safety issues surround suspicious items [read: explosives] on his person." Nor could they give any information on the attacker's identity, background, religion or possible motivation. The lickspittle media have already broadcast the usual disclaimers.

UPDATE ADDED at 1410 FMT: Suspicions confirmed! Here's the stabby Jew-killer, identified as a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent, named (appropriately enough) Jihad Al-Shamie.

Inspector Knacker of the Manchester constabulary told reporters, "We are now able to confirm that, although formal identification is yet to take place, we believe the person responsible for today’s attacks is 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie." He did not, however, say anything about Mr Al-Shamie's possible motive. Sez Walt, "shame, shame on Shamie!"

"Islamophobic" attack in London: a calm look at the facts

Last week Canada's liberal political and media elites were clutching their pearls over the discovery of over 200 unmarked graves -- not one mass grave! -- at the Kamloops (BC) Indian Residential School. See "Canadian residential school deaths: a calm look at the facts", WWW 7/6/21. Copious quantities of crocodile tears were shed. Vigils were held. Statues of old white men were torn down. And apologies were issued on behalf of all those evil Canadian white supremacists.

This week's victims, we are told, are the 1000s of Muslims who have chosen to immigrate to the Great White North, notwithstanding that it's no country for followers of the Prophet. Why would anyone say that? Because, while out for a Sunday evening stroll in London ON, a family of recent immigrants from Pakistan were run down by someone driving a black pickup truck. Salman Afzaal, 46, his wife Madiha Salman, 44, their daughter Yumna Afzaal, 15, and Salman's mother, Talat Afzaal, 74, were killed. The youngest member of the family, nine-year-old Fayez, survived and remains in hospital.

All that is known, really, is that the family were standing on or near the corner of a busy intersection, waiting to cross the street, when they were struck. The truck did not stop. Nathaniel Veltman, 20, of London, the alleged driver, was arrested some six miles away from the scene, and charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. London city police have called in the Mounties with a view to laying charges of terrorism as well. 

Under the Criminal Code of Canada, murder in the first degree requires premeditation. Mr Veltman was heretofore unknown to the police. There is no evidence of any relationship between him and the Afzaal family, or any motive that he might have had for attacking them. 

Nevertheless, Inspector Knacker waited all of 30 seconds before announcing that this was a "targeted killing", with the victims being selectede because of their Muslim faith. Since they did not have placards around their necks proclaiming their faith, it must be assumed that, seeing the way they were dressed, the driver of the truck (whoever he may be) just jumped to that conclusion. 

Open-and-shut case then? Agent 3 says that if he were defending Mr Veltman he would have a lot of questions to ask, such as:

- Where exactly was the family standing when they were hit? Did London's finest send an accident reconstruction squad to the scene? Is it possible the Afzaals were crossing the street against a red light? Did the truck drive straight through the intersection or did it make a right turn?

- On what basis was Mr Veltman arrested, six miles from the scene? Does he own/drive a black pickup truch? How many such trucks are registered to London addresses?

- What evidence -- not suspicion but evidence -- do the police have of "targetting"? What do they say as to Mr Veltman's motivation? 

- Even supposing that he did want to kill the Afzaals, why would not attack them in their home? Why wait until they went out for a walk? And how would he have known that they were standing at that particular location at that particular time?

Deplorable as the killing of these people is, Agent 3 says there's plenty of reasonable doubt about whether it was first-degree murder, let alone terrorism. There could be doubt, too, about who was behind the wheel of the black pickup, and what actually happened at the scene. 

Until such doubts are replaced by certainty, it is wrong to politicize the incident, as Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface and socialist leader Jugmeat Singh have done, by calling for still more laws against "Islamophobia" and "hate speech". You can't legislate brotherly love and peaceful co-existence.

One more thing.... How is it that when a white guy does something like this, all the rest of us millions of white men have to don the sackcloth and ashes, and admit that we are racists and haters, but when an "other" (non-white, and let's say non-Christian) does it, it's just the act of a mentally ill "lone wolf" (like this guy) and shouldn't be interpreted as in any way characteristic of followers of "the religion of peace"? Just askin'...

"American man" murdered in Toronto

Agent 3 sent us reports of two crime stories which were carried -- edited for political correctness -- by Toronto's controlled media for less than 24 hours yesterday. Black on black crime is not a big deal in Toronto the Good. I'm posting the story here more for what it says about the obvious liberal bias of the Canuck media when it comes to matters of race and immigration. So then... 

Meet Mohamed Jeylani, who died on Wednesdsay afternoon after a stabbing in Scarborough, the eastern part of Toronto, the most multicultural city in the world (according to Mayor John Jello.) He was identified by all three of the city's major news outlets --CTV, CBC and Global TV -- as "a man from the United States". He was from an unidentified city in Minnesota, likely not unadjacent to Minneapolis, which is home to a large community of Somali refugees "new Americans".

Inspector Knacker of the Metropolitan Police said his minions were searching for a man believed to be about 20 to 25 years old, 5' 11", with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded top and light-coloured pants at the time of the stabbing. The identifying factor which was omitted from the CBC and Global reports, and quickly deleted from the CTV story, is that the suspect was, errr, black.

Mr Jeylani's death was Toronto's first homicide of 2021. That it was so late in the new year must be one of the benefits of the Covid "crisis" lockdown!

Walt wonders what this "American man" was doing in Toronto. In theory, the World's Longest Undefended Border (TM) is closed, except for "essential workers" or others who are exempt because they are needed in both countries. Like hockey players. I wonder what kind of "essential work" Mr Jeylani was engaged in.

Last night, CTV reported that Ontario's police watchdog has been called in to investigate after a man was shot during an interaction with Toronto police. The cops spotted a "a vehicle of interest" in the parking lot of Church’s Chicken (!), near Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, the very same part of Scarberia where the homicide occurred.

As officers attempted to block in the vehicle, the vehicle rammed into the police vehicles. An "interaction" follwed, the Special Investigations Unit said, and "an officer discharged their[sic] firearm" and struck one of two people they were investigating. The two individuals were later taken into custody, police said. A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Two police officers were also taken to hospital with unknown injuries. 

Inspector Singh (Hey, it's Toronto!) said he could not provide further details about the incident, such as the identity of the "individuals". Nor would he comment on a possible link with the stabbing of Mr Jeylani. End of story. Nothing here to see, folks.

UPDATED: Allahu akbar! in London... now The Hague too!

Just when you thought it was safe to go outside again! After months of relative quiet, London has once again experienced the result of allowing hundreds of thousands of Muslim migrants to settle in one's country. Parts of central London are on lockdown, and Inspector Knacker of the Yard has declared an "isolated incident" on London Bridge this afternoon (GMT) a terror attack. Of course the authorities haven't used words like "Muslim" or "Islamist", but here's what we know so far.

A "person" started attacking people walking along London Bridge with a knife, before being shot by police on the north side of the bridge. Footage circulating on social media showed members of the public detaining the suspect and taking possession of a knife. Police confirmed that "a number of people have been stabbed."

The head of UK counter-terrorism policing told the meeja, "At approximately 2 PM today, police were called to a stabbing at a premises near London Bridge. Emergency services attended including officers from the City of London Police and Metropolitan Police. A male suspect was shot by specialist armed officers from City of London police and I can confirm that this suspect died at the scene." He added added that police "believe a device [apparently a suicide vest] that was strapped to the body of the suspect is a hoax explosive device."

Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Interior Minister "My Good Mrs" Patel and London Mayor Sadiq Khan all expressed concern and said they were being updated on developments. "We must — and we will — stay resolute in our determination to stand strong and united in the face of terror," said Mayor Khan. "Those who seek to attack us and divide us will never succeed." Mr Khan is a peaceful, moderate Muslim -- not the sort who would wage jihad on those who do not follow the Prophet.

No word yet as to the identity of the attacker, let alone his nationality, ethnicity or religious beliefs, or what he may have shouted just before he was sent to Paradise, where he's now being serviced by 72 virgins. Those who wish to bet that he was a British-born white Christian (or Jew) are invited to send their money by PayPal to the usual address. I'll pay 100 to 1 if that turns out to be the case.

UPDATE added at 1120: Word just in that two people have died from wounds inflicted by the attacker. Still no word on the perp's identity etc etc.

FURTHER UPDATE added at 1225: This just in on the Mojo wire: Dutch police said this afternoon (local time) that three people had been wounded in a stabbing on a shopping street in The Hague. Inspektor Klompen said they were seeking a man aged 45 to 50, and described him using a Dutch term often applied to people of North African descent. [Would anyone who speaks Dutch and can tell us the term please contact me. Ed.] Sounds like a jihadi copycat to me. Does that make me an Islamophobe?

VIDEO: "Allahu akbar!" encore à Paris - 4 policiers tués

First, the story the way the Clinton News Network told it at 1216 EDT today.

Four police employees were killed in a knife attack at Paris police headquarters on Thursday, according to city prosecutor Remy Heitz.
The three policemen and a female police administrative worker were killed by a fellow member of staff, who was later shot dead, authorities told CNN.
The incident took place inside the building, which is located near Notre Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité in central Paris.
One victim is undergoing surgery, said French Interior Minister Christophe Castaner. He did not elaborate on the victim's condition or injuries.
Castaner said the assailant was a 45-year-old man and had been an employee at the police station since 2003. There is no indication of a motive yet.

What M Castaner actually said, in a hastily-called presser, was that the attacker "n'avait jamais présenté de difficultés comportementales" ("had never shown any behavioural difficulties") or "le moindre signe d'alerte" ("the least warning sign").

For those who don't speak the language of Molière, the newsreader said investigators told reporters they are exploring the possibility of a personal conflict, and anti-terrorism prosecutors were following the dossier. Why? Because the attacker (now dead of lead poisoning) had converted to Islam 18 months ago. For the moment, she said, it is not known if there is any connection between the man's new-found religion and the attack. But Inspector Clouseau is working on it. Allahu akbar!? Voyons!

UPDATE ADDED 5/10/19: Suspicions confirmed! Jean-François Richard, the Paris prosecutor in charge of the investigation, told the press today that the perpetrator of the deadly knife attack "had likely contacts with members of the Salafist movement."

Salafism is a fundamentalist branch of Islam that has become tied to violent extremism through jihadist attacks and groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIS which adhere to its belief that Islam has strayed from its roots and must return to traditionalist teachings and practices. Such as? Well, the killing of "infidels", for one!

Rumours re Epstein and the Clintons: Statement from Babylon Bee

Some churls who read "Jeffrey Epstein: suicide or homicide?" (WWW 11/8/19), which featured a photo of Bill and Hellery Clinton along with a link to "CDC: People With Dirt On Clintons Have 843% Greater Risk Of Suicide", an old article from the Babylon Bee, have accused me of buying into the theory that the ex-President and ex-President-wannabe somehow orchestrated Mr Epstein's suicide.

If so, I am not the only one. Still-President Trump suggested just yesterday that if we could find out if Slick Willy had visited the Epstein Pleasure Island, we'd "know something". Indeed.

Meanwhile, the Babylon Bee has seen fit to plead innocent to accusations of the lamestream media that they deliberately resurrected the "Clinton suicide article", first posted in November of 2017 and gave it a place of prominence on their landing page shortly after the death of Mr Epstein was confirmed. Walt is anxious to help the good folks at the BB clear their name, and reposts below their editorial board's statement posted August 12th.

A number of people have questioned our love for Hillary Clinton based on some satirical pieces published on our site recently.

We would like to clear things up by saying that Hillary Clinton is an upstanding citizen and a very fine human being. She is of excellent character. She would never hurt anyone. The people who wrote those jokes, headlines, and pieces that seemed to criticize Hillary have been dealt with.

Some conspiracy theories have been going around about the Clintons, and we think that's just despicable. Deplorable, really. From Bill's time in the White House all the way through Hillary's spotless record as Secretary of State, the Clintons have served this country with honor and not a hint of scandal. For people to suggest they are so powerful and sinister to kill those who might expose some non-existent "wrongdoings" in their past is treason, really.

We just want to make certain that it's clear how much we respect, love, and honor the Clintons. Honestly, they're our favorite politicians of all the politicians, way better than that Trump guy. It's a real shame Hillary didn't win. She's our president.

Above all, we want to make sure Hillary does not question our loyalty to her and the whole Clinton family. We have nothing bad to say about her. Also, just to be clear, we have no dirt or inside information on her whatsoever and nothing would be gained by our untimely deaths.

So, Hillary, we love you! Please do not hurt us.

Markham murders - clarification and correction

In fairness to the Muslim community of "Greater Toronto", and migrants from south Asia (and NOT because of M-103!) I feel obliged to pick up some loose ends and post something of a mea culpa for "Toronto-area honour killing (?) claims 4 family members", WWW 29/7/19.

I posted the first version of this story 48 hours ago, as the news broke. The only information that the York Region police were releasing was that four people had been killed in one house and that a young man had been arrested when he answered the door of the house. Nothing was said about the man's relationship, if any, to the victims. And there was nothing about the victims' identity, ethnicity, status in Canada or religion. But, since Markham ON is a "diverse" community -- the majority of Chinese ancestry, actually -- with a large immigrant population, Agent 78 checked Fairchild Radio to learn more. That was where we got the tip that the members of the household were south Asian. That was correct.

From the names and appearance of people -- former tenants of a basement apartment -- who spoke to the (((controlled media))), I jumped to the conclusion that the family were probably Muslim. A further clue was the name of the suspect who was arrested -- Menham Zaman. Although the "authorities" still haven't said as much -- M-103 is in effect! -- that inference appears also to have been correct, and I stand by it. We'll know for sure when the funeral is held.

Then I wrote, "South Asian family. Domestic violence. Murder. Don't be surprised if, as Walt hereby predicts, this turns out to be an 'honour killing'." Although I didn't use the word "Muslim", because "honour killings" occur in other religious communities -- Sikhs, for instance -- I did write that the murders could have been triggered (no pun intended) by "some sort of domestic situation arising from someone not following the strict laws of Islam regarding dress and deportment, or choice of spouse."

That insinuation appears to have been unwarranted. After I had posted two updates [which seemed like enough. Ed.] news emerged of disturbing messages and images posted by Mr Zaman on a gaming platform called "Perfect World", which he used regularly. According to an administrator of the site, "He messaged many of his friends, including myself, about the details of the murder, during the act.... He has been choosing self-devaluing names like 'subhuman' and 'don't deserve life' to represent himself."

According to the meeja, Mr Zaman said online that he killed his family becauase he was tired of lying to them about his life. (They believed he had been attending university, whereas, he said, he had been killing time, gaming, and generally doing nothing was his life.) What we see now is a picture, not of an affair of honour -- I was wrong about that* -- but of an affair of insanity, or something like it. The story is sad, no matter the ethnicity or religion of those involved. I propose to give it a rest now.

Muslim woman kills, cooks boyfriend, serves remains with rice

Of course I should have added "allegedly" to the title, because the trial has yet to take place. Anyway... The National, "the Middle East's leading English-language news service" reports that prosecutors in the United Arab Emirates are alleging that a Moroccan woman killed her boyfriend, then butchered and cooked his body, then served his remains to Pakistani workers in a traditional Gulf rice and meat dish, similar to biryani, known as machboos.

The authorities in the emirate of Al-Ain arrested the woman on suspicion of killing her boyfriend of seven years after he told her of his plans to marry another from their country. Both the alleged cooker and the cookee are (or were) followers of the Prophet.

The Abu Dhabi-based news service reported that the man was killed three months ago, but that the crime only came to light recently, when the man's brother visited the couple's home in Al Ain to ask if the accused knew of his sibling's whereabouts. The woman denied knowing where he was and claimed to have kicked him out of their home. The brother then went to the police, who searched the home and found a human tooth inside the woman's blender. After DNA tests confirmed the tooth belonged to the missing man, the woman was arrested.

During questioning, the woman, whose age was not disclosed by police, first denied any involvement, but, after further questioning [using "enhanced interrogation techniques?" Ed.] admitted to killing the man during a moment of "insanity". She told police she wanted revenge for being dumped after seven years of providing financially for her lover.

After cutting up the man's body, his girlfriend allegedly asked a friend to help her dispose of the remains. She is said to have confessed that she used a blender to mince her former partner's flesh then cooked it with machboos, before serving it to a group of Pakistani workers who lived nearby. The woman's friend, however, said she did not witness the crime, but did notice blood stains in the woman's home.

Police and prosecutors told The National the woman would be brought to court after their investigation is complete.

Syrian refugee charged with murder of 13-year-old BC girl

This is... or was... Marrisa Shen, a girl from Burnaby BC who didn't live to see her 14th birthday.

She was last seen leaving her apartment building around 1800 on 18 July 2017. Surveillance footage later showed the teenager entering a nearby Tim Hortons minutes after she left her apartment across from the city's Central Park. She stayed there for an hour and a half. Her family reported her missing to police at 2330, and her body was found in the brush in the southeast corner of the park a little more than an hour later. Police have not revealed how she was killed, nor if she was sexually assaulted.

Last Friday, Ibrahim Ali, 28, of Burnaby was charged with the first-degree murder of the young girl. The sum total of what the police and the lamestream media are saying about the accused is that he is "a Syrian national and permanent Canadian resident" who arrived in Canada "17 months ago". By my calendar, that would be around Valentine's Day of 2017, or about four months before Marrisa was killed. He was arrested in Burnaby on Sept. 7.

Disregarding M-103, Walt has some innocent questions: What is Mr Ali's religion? Is he by any chance a follower of the Prophet? Is he one of the 50,000 Syrian refugees that the arch-virtue-signaller Justin Trudeau, brought to Canada in a fit of misguided humanitarianism? If not, how did he get to be a permanent resident so quickly? What was Mr Ali's employment status at the time of his arrest? Was he working, or sponging off Canadian taxpayers like so many of the other 49,999?

Our very own Ed. hunted up the Vancouver Sun and found "Ibrahim Ali, 28, charged with first-degree murder of Burnaby teen Marrisa Shen", which includes this paragraph: Ali is a Syrian national and a permanent resident who came to Canada 17 months ago, Richardson said. She did not know whether he was a privately-sponsored or government-assisted refugee, but believed he does have family in Burnaby and is employed. As if there was any doubt about the "refugee" part.... The last two words came as a surprise though.

Asylum-seeker who raped and murdered German teen arrested in Iraq

Just a short story off the AP mojo wire to get your blood boiling today. Inspektor Katzenjammer of the German Polizei told the meeja today that a young follower of the Prophet man alleged to have raped and murdered a 14-year-old schoolgirl in western Germany has been arrested in his homeland. Ali Bashar, aged 20, was arrested by Kurdish security forces in northern Iraq early Friday at the request of German authorities.

The girl disappeared on May 22nd and her body was found in Wiesbaden on Wednesday, about the same time Mr Bashar and his family left Germany, travelling to northern Iraq via Turkey. What had Mr Bashar and his family been doing in the Fatherland? Why, they were "refugees", of course.

The accused rape-murderer arrived in Germany in 2015, at the crest of the tidal wave of "refugees", asylum-seekers and other less-than-desirable migrants. His asylum application was rejected, but of course he was still in Germany, appealing the rejection. Meanwhile, police allege, he was running around loose, committing a string of offences in the same area.

That's the problem with the immigration and justice "systems" in Germany, Canada, and the rest of the nations of western Europe and North America. Scum like Mr Bashar have the benefit of due process, so their bogus claims of persecution yada yada yada in their shithole countries get a sympathetic hearing. If their claims are rejected, they have a right of appeal -- all this with the assistance of legal counsel paid out of the public purse, of course -- and even if they are ordered deported, such orders are almost never executed.

And so the jihadis, criminals, misfits, remain amongst us. The doors to our homelands, now opened by the liberals and SJWs, cannot be shut again. What fools we be.

German pro-migrant politicos cringe as Afghan asylum-seeker charged with brutal rape-murder

This is Maria Ladenburger -- the late Maria Ladenburger, the daughter of Dr Clemens Ladenburger, a German lawyers who works as an assistant to the legal director of the European Commission. Fräulein Ladenburger, who lived in Freiburg, Germany, was the victim of a brutal rape and murder. She was 19 years old.

A spokesthingy for the local police told a press conference last month that the pretty medical student had been at a party in October. She left around 0237 to cycle home, when she became "the victim of a sexual offence and a violent crime." She was raped and then drowned in the River Dreisam, where her body was found on 16 October 2017. Her black scarf was discovered on the riverbank, and a single strand of dark hair that had been partially dyed blonde was found in a blackberry bush.

DNA from the hair and the scarf were run through the police criminal database, but no matches were found. Detectives then turned to CCTV footage in the town and the surrounding area where the young woman was found. Video footage taken on a local streetcar showed a young man who had what police said was "a very conspicuous hairstyle, an undercut hairstyle", with a portion of his long hair dyed blonde. They arrested a teenage asylum-seeker whose DNA matched that found at the crime scene.

Fräulein Ladenburger volunteered at a home for "refugees" in her spare time, but it is unclear whether she ever met her murderer before he took her life. The German public prosecutor handling the case said the suspect, who had been taken in by a local family who believed in Angela Merkel's "Willkommenskultur", confessed to the murder.

Police are now trying to establish if he may be responsible for the death of another girl in the area. Carolin G., 27, was raped and murdered at the beginning of November while jogging in Endinge, just 18 miles away from Freiburg. Connecting the unnamed yoof with that crime will be difficult, as detectives found no DNA evidence at that crime scene.

Interest in this story has been revived this month as Chancellor (pro tem) Merkel struggles to put together a coalition government, after the rising tide of anger at her open-door refugee policy resulted in huge gains in last September's election for the anti-immigrant Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) party and a drastically reduced minority for Frau Merkel's Christian Democratic Union.

Other parties, including the CDU's erstwhile ally, the CSU, are demanding drastic changes to Germany's immigration policy. One of the major issues which they seem unable to resolve is the suspension of the policy of reunifying refugee families. The person who killed Fraülein Landenburger was one of 1000s of young Muslim men from the shithole countries of the Middle East and North Africa who came to Germany as unaccompanied minors. Crime among such young men has spiked as the tidal wave of "refugees" washed over Europe.

Now leading criminologists commissioned by Frau Merkel's government have produced a study arguing that family reunification would be an effective method to counteract crime among young migrants. The solution, then, is to bring in their parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins -- millions more unassimilable Muslims to be welcomed into das Vaterland. Reaction to the plan, even within Frau Merkel's own CDU, has been distinctly cool.

Solving the problem of homelessness, Nashville style

Meet Katie Quackenbush, a 26-year-old Nashvillean who doesn't have much time for street people who can't afford a room or a decent car.

Ms Q was parked in her Porsche SUV near Music Row in the wee hours of August 26th, grooving on the fine country sounds, when she was disturbed by a knock on the passenger-side window. The knocker was Gerald Melton, 54, a homeless man who was trying to sleep on the sidewalk. Mr Melton was bothered by the exhaust fumes emanating from Ms Quackenbush's German auto, and didn't much like her taste in music either. So, he asked her to move.

According to Nashville police, the two began yelling at each other. Ms Quackenbush then got out of her car and shot Mr Melton twice before running up the street with another woman. She (Ms Q, not the other woman) has been charged with attempted murder. Mr Melton remains in hospital with serious injuries.

The AP report goes on to say that Ms Q's father, Jesse Quackenbush, disputes the police account, saying his daughter fired the shots in self-defence as a warning and didn't know Melton was hit.

The moral of the story is... ... Walt can't think of one.

Footnote from Poor Len Canayen: I wonder if Jesse Quackenbush is related to Eddie Quackenbush, who played for the Boston Bruins back in the '50s. Maybe not. Eddie was a Kitchener ON boy, as I recall. At that time Boston inexplicably had several Krauts on the team, including Quackenbush, centre Milt Schmidt, left winger Woody Dumart, and right winger Bobby Bauer, who made up the famous Kraut Line. Not many people would remember that.

UPDATED: Canadian media name Montréal Muslim who stabbed pregnant spouse, killing baby delivered by C-section

Canuck Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (aka the Hair Apparent) keeps rabbiting on about how diversity is Canada's strength. He keeps admonishing old stock Canadians about their dislike of Third world "refugees" and other immigrants, especially Muslims. Last spring, his Liberal party rammed a motion -- M-103 -- through Parliament to discourage people from saying anything which would tend to fan the flames of Islamophobia which are sweeping Canada faster than a BC wildfire.

Although the motion only confirms the "sense of Parliament" -- an oxymoron if ever there was one -- it has had a profoundly chilling effect on the pussies in Canada's lamestream media, notably the state-owned Canadian Broadcorping Castration. Today's case in point is "Husband arrested in stabbing of pregnant woman, whose baby died after C-section", a report on the CBC News website. Here are the first three paragraphs of the CBC News report.

A baby delivered by C-section after the child's mother was repeatedly stabbed has died in a Montreal hospital.

Police arrested the woman's husband, the primary suspect in the stabbing, not far from the apartment building where she was attacked. The man could face murder charges, according to police spokesperson Cmdr. Michael Chartrand.

The man's name has not been released. [My emphasis. Walt]

Neither Kamila Hinkson (the CBC typist who got the byline for the story) nor anyone else in the Canadian English-language media has so far had the intestinal fortitude to name the accused. (Ed. hasn't checked The Rebel, yet.) Could their reluctance to name names (from which we might guess the ethnicity and/or religion of the perp) have anything to do with M-103 and the government's dislike of anyone saying anything that would put non-Christian, non-white "newcomers" in a bad light? Let's check the French-language media to see what we can find out.

Turns out Ms Hinkson and her PC colleagues have been, errr, a little economical with the truth. La Presse tells us:

Le Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) ne voulait pas confirmer l'identité du suspect avant la fin de son interrogatoire hier. Mais sur le boulevard Langelier, à Montréal-Nord, plusieurs ont immédiatement fait le lien avec un locataire connu pour son problème de toxicomanie.

Sofiane Ghazi, 37 ans, était en couple avec une femme de 33 ans qui avait déjà deux jeunes enfants et qui attendait son troisième. La dame avait parfois peur de son conjoint, ont raconté plusieurs sources fiables.

For those not versed in the language of Molière, Walt can reveal that although the Montréal cops didn't want to disclose the ID of the culprit until they had finished their interrogation [Pass the rubber hose, please. Ed.], neighbours told La Presse they figured it was a 37-year-old crack addict by the name of... wait for it... Sofiane Ghazi. M Ghazi was coupled with a 33-year-old woman who already had two young children and was awaiting her third. Let's see. "Sofiane Ghazi". Doesn't sound French to me. Or English. Or anything else "old stock". If M Ghazi's ethnicity, religion and status in Canada are ever disclosed, Walt will let you know. But don't hold your breath.

Meanwhile, down at the courthouse... an interesting legal question arises. After being stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen, M Ghazi's partner was delivered of her child, by C-section. The mother survived, but the child, born live, did not. Was the child, then, a murder victim? Canadian courts will now have to revisit the question of when a fetus becomes a human being.

Under the Canadian Criminal Code (Agent 3 advises), "a child becomes a human being...when it has completely proceeded, in a living state, from the body of its mother, whether or not (a) it has breathed; (b) it has an independent circulation; or (c) the navel string is severed." By that definition, the "thing" that M Ghazi stabbed, while still inside "its" mother, would not be considered a human being. That, of course, is what the pro-abortion people keep saying. It will be interesting to see what position the feminist Justin Trudeau and his feminine Minister of Justice take on this case.

UPDATE 26/7/17: The English-language Canadian media have now overcome their shyness to reveal the identity and other details of the murderer. We can call him that, for Sofiane Ghazi has been charged with the attempted murder of his wife, Raja Ghazi, and her baby. In an updated report by a different typist, CBC News reveals that, according to his Facebook page, M Ghazi moved to Montréal from Oran, Algeria, in 2012. Something like 95% of Algerians are... wait for it... Muslim. Unless and until M Ghazi says otherwise, we'll assume he too is a follower of the Prophet. Perhaps he will say that this was an affair of honour for which he should be excused in the name of "accommodation".

M Ghazi's FB page says he works at clothing retailer Lacoste and formerly worked at a heating, ventilating and air conditioning service located in Saint-Bruno. Last month, he was arrested and charged with assaulting his wife. Around the same time, he was arrested for allegedly stealing perfume from a Jean Coutu pharmacy.

Nothing  has been said yet about M Ghazi's immigration status, but Walt predicts (lifetime pct .988) that no matter the disposition of these and the latest charges, he will undoubtedly remain in Canada for a long time, possibly forever. After all, Junior Trudeau says Canada must welcome Muslims because they add to the diversity which makes the country strong.

"We love our Muslim neighbours"... don't we? Maybe not in Québec?

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, never tires of saying how much Canadians love all the Muslims who are flooding into their country -- especially the 1000s of refugees from Syria on whom millions of beaverbucks are being spent -- and what a great contribution "Muslim Canadians" are making to the diversity which is Canada's strength, yada yada yada.

Walt suspects that Junior actually believes this liberal claptrap, tone-deaf as he is to the views of ordinary Canadians, as read (when the censors allow) in the comments section so the Groan and Wail and the CBC News website. Just this weekend, when President Trump announced that the Paranoid States of America would not be taking any more Syrian refugees, and would not be issuing visas to citizens of Syria and six other Middle Eastern sandpits, M Trudeau took to the airwaves and the Twitterverse to say that all "refugees" are welcome in Canada, and anyone inconvenienced by the American "Muslim ban" can get temporary resident status in Canada, just for the asking. Yada yada yada.

The usual suspects are demonstrating in the streets of Toronto (of course) and Mississauga (ditto), holding up signs saying "We love our Muslim neighbours!" However, no such demonstrations or signs were to be seen in Québec City, the heart of francophone [= French-speaking. Ed.] Canada. It was there, a couple of years ago, that the previous provincial government, proposed a Charter of Québec values which would have banned the wearing of Islamic headgear. And it was there, during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, that a pig's head was left on the doorstep of the Islamic Cultural Centre [= mosque. Ed.] in suburban Sainte-Foy.

Now comes news that shots were fired tonight inside the same mosque, leaving several people dead and more wounded. Québec City police say that a few dozen people, mostly men, were gathered at the mosque for evening prayers when shooting broke out. The director of the centre said at least five people were killed, but that information has not been confirmed by police. Two suspects have been arrested. We have not been told whether they are "Muslim Canadians" or "old stock Canadians", but it couldn't be the latter, eh, because M Trudeau keeps saying "We love our Muslims!"

Puzzle: Guess the real story behind the headline

The online edition of the Groan and Wail -- Canada's self-styled "national newspaper" -- has a story today with the following headline:

Frenchman stabs UK woman to death in Australia: police

So ya got yer Frenchman and yer Brit, and this happened in the land of Oz. Just the age-old enmity between the Froggies and the Limeys, right? Errr, not right. There was more to it than that.

If you haven't already guessed, a quick scan of the text will reveal that the killer was not only French, but a militant Muslim, who shouted... wait for it... "Allahu Akbar!" as he plunged the blade into his victim.

So was this a terrorist act, then? Here's the official statement from Inspector Bruce Knacker. "Initial inquiries indicate that comments which may be construed of being of an extremist nature were made by the alleged offender. This person appears to have acted alone. He is a visitor to Australia and has no known local connections, however investigations are ongoing."

Note the absence from the statement of the words "Muslim", "Islamic", "terrorist" or "jihadi". Walt wonders if the UN Agency for Political Correctness has published a reference book with lists of words and phrases to be used to downplay the inference of Islamic terrorism which most people with 80+ IQs would draw from the murderer's exclamation.

The same stylebook is obviously in use not only by the police but by the lamestream media. Any news of attacks on "infidels" by Islamic extremists is suppressed or downplayed deliberately, for political reasons. Cf. "9 'refugees' rape Austrian woman; news hushed up until after election", WWW 21/8/16. Don't bother trying to add a comment to the G&M story; comments are closed!

Do our political elites, their servants the mass media and their agents of control (read: police) really think that we are being fooled by the whitewashing of stories that portray militant Muslims in a bad light? We are not! At least I'm not. How about you?
