UPDATED: "Allahu akbar!" Islamic hostage-taking in France

Up at the crack of dawn. Normally I seal up the crack and go back to bed. This morning, however, there's a breaking story from France which I want to put up, to remind you, dear reader, that just because the Islamic terrorists have been more active, lately, at home in Armpitistan, doesn't mean that there's no longer any threat to Europe or America.

From the south of France -- a small town called Trebes, south of Toulouse -- comes news of a hostage-taking (in progress as I write) which Prime Minister Edouard Philippe says "seems to be a terrorist act." In accordance with the political correctness which is now de rigueur throughout western Europe, he did not use the words "Islamic" or "Muslim", but we all know who he's talking about, n'est-ca pas.

Seems someone -- possibly a militant Muslim -- shot a cop and then holded up inside a Super-U supermarket. A spokesthingy for the Interior Ministry, which controls the gendarmerie and other security forces, told AP there is one suspect and police are trying to subdue him. He provided no details of how many people were inside the supermarket or were believed held hostage. There are unconfirmed media reports that the assailant claimed connections to ISIS. Quelle surprise!

The French prime minister has described the situation as "very serious," and President Emmanuel Macron has asked Interior Minister Gerard Collomb to go to the scene. The Paris prosecutor's office said counterterrorism investigators have taken over the probe into the ongoing incident, but didn't provide details on why. They didn't have to. "Allahu akbar!"

UPDATED AT 0600: Inspector Clouseau now says two people have been killed and about a dozen others wounded. He then the pronounced the ritualistic words that "the motive for the hostage-taking is unclear."

UPDATED AT 1400: The  death toll in the Islamic terrorist attack now stands at 3. Make that 4 if you add in the Muslim extremist attacker, now identified as Redouane Lakdim, 26, a native of Morocco. He was shot dead (and a good thing, too) when police stormed the supermarket in which he had holed up. Police now say that they had been watching M Lakdim, who was suspected of having been "radicalized". Turns out they just weren't watching him closely enough.

Footnote: In the first paragraph I mentioned that the Islamic terrorists had been more active of late at home in Armpitistan. The mojo wire just now spat out news of a car bombing outside a sports stadium in Afghanistan's Helmand province. 14 people were killed and 45 wounded. The office of Afghan president Ashraf Ghani issued a statement condemning the "brutal terrorist attack."

Another footnote: These attacks occurred just days after Pope Francis declared that there is no connection between Islam and terrorism. Scroll down to Walt's post earlier this week. The Pope, of course, does not live anywhere near southern France, let alone Afraghanistan.

"Allahu akbar!" again. This time Russia. Next time... who knows?

"Allahu akbar"! The Islamists were at it again, but you probably didn't read about it in the Western (((controlled media))) because (a) only five people were killed, (b) they were women, (c) they were Christians attending a church service, and (d) they were Russians.

Another reason for the disinterest in Muslim attacks on "infidels" is that it happened in Dagestan. Who knows where that is? [I know! It's a supposedly autonomous republic of Russia, on the western shore of the Caspian Sea. You can look it up. Ed.] There, in the city of Kizlyar, a man opened fire with a hunting rifle on worshippers -- mostly women -- a Russian Orthodox church after celebrations for Maslenitsa, a traditional pre-Lent festival.

RBK, a Russian news outlet, quoted a priest as saying the attack took place immediately following the afternoon service. "We had finished the mass and were beginning to leave the church. A bearded man ran towards the church shouting 'Allahu Akbar!' [Arabic for "God is great"] and killed four people. He was carrying a rifle and a knife."

Four women were killed on the spot; one died in hospital soon after. One of them was an award-winning doctor, Lyudmila Shcherbakova, who had more than 40 years' experience working in Dagestan's hospitals. Five other people, including a police officer and a national guardsman, were wounded, two of them critically. Doctors are seen here attending to one of the victims.

The attacker was shot and killed by police at the scene. He was later identified as 22-year-old Khalil Khalilov, a local resident. Authorities have detained his wife for questioning, but, like their counterparts in Germany, Sweden, Britain and [That's enough politically correct countries. Ed.] have declined to comment on the possible motive for the attack.

Walt suggests the fact that the killer shouted "Allahu akbar!" could be a clue to his motive. If that's not enough, Islamic State, through Amaq, its information (read: propaganda) wing, claimed that one of its "soldiers" had carried out the attack. A statement posted today on an ISIS-affiliated website, says a Muslim fighter attacked "a Christian temple" in Kizlyar. The authenticity of the statement couldn't be confirmed, but the website is regularly used by IS for posting militant statements. Walt is prepared to take their word for it.

Puzzle: Guess the real story behind the headline

The online edition of the Groan and Wail -- Canada's self-styled "national newspaper" -- has a story today with the following headline:

Frenchman stabs UK woman to death in Australia: police

So ya got yer Frenchman and yer Brit, and this happened in the land of Oz. Just the age-old enmity between the Froggies and the Limeys, right? Errr, not right. There was more to it than that.

If you haven't already guessed, a quick scan of the text will reveal that the killer was not only French, but a militant Muslim, who shouted... wait for it... "Allahu Akbar!" as he plunged the blade into his victim.

So was this a terrorist act, then? Here's the official statement from Inspector Bruce Knacker. "Initial inquiries indicate that comments which may be construed of being of an extremist nature were made by the alleged offender. This person appears to have acted alone. He is a visitor to Australia and has no known local connections, however investigations are ongoing."

Note the absence from the statement of the words "Muslim", "Islamic", "terrorist" or "jihadi". Walt wonders if the UN Agency for Political Correctness has published a reference book with lists of words and phrases to be used to downplay the inference of Islamic terrorism which most people with 80+ IQs would draw from the murderer's exclamation.

The same stylebook is obviously in use not only by the police but by the lamestream media. Any news of attacks on "infidels" by Islamic extremists is suppressed or downplayed deliberately, for political reasons. Cf. "9 'refugees' rape Austrian woman; news hushed up until after election", WWW 21/8/16. Don't bother trying to add a comment to the G&M story; comments are closed!

Do our political elites, their servants the mass media and their agents of control (read: police) really think that we are being fooled by the whitewashing of stories that portray militant Muslims in a bad light? We are not! At least I'm not. How about you?

Quit making apologies for ISIS terrorists! They're Muslim fanatics!

On Friday, in "'You're next!', Chaldean Archbishop of Mosul warns West", Walt made the point that the ISIS extremists who destroyed Christian churches in Iraq and beheaded James Foley are adherents to the same religious faith -- Islam -- that the Pope himself tells us is really a "religion of peace", believers in the same God we believe in, not to mention the brotherhood of man, dialogue rather than violence to resolve conflicts, yada yada yada. "We're all brothers", as the current PC thinking would have it. Of course that's the veriest rubbish!

That's the point made today in Canada's National Post by that eminent son of The Rock, Rex Murphy -- a great one for cutting through the fog of political correctness to tell it as it really is. Today he asks "In [the] wake of James Foley’s beheading, can we finally say the I-word?"

When, he wonders, are we going to stop avoiding calling things by their real names, by "dipping deeds and practices into the sludge of euphemism". Good question, and particularly pertinent in view of the way the lamestream media are talking about the beheading of James Foley. Here's more of what Rex has to say.

Religion, even in a form that civilized people may regard as violently debased, is still a religion to those who embrace it. I stress, and do not apologize for, my use of the word "civilized" there. If hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, subscribe to a violent theological creed, it simply will not do to pretend -- as some Western leaders, clergymen, journalists and professors insist on doing -- that these are merely misguided souls who don't properly know how to interpret a holy book.

The BBC's Security Correspondent...said the barbaric ritual beheading "was not about religion". Well, how many "allahu akbars" have to be ululated before [he] would accept it and kindred butcheries as religious? Have he and we so soon forgotten the psychiatrist at Fort Hood, Texas, who stood up and shouted "allahu akbar" before killing 13 people? That was not supposed to be "about religion" either. Military officials and law-enforcement investigators turned collectively blue in the face before acknowledging what the killer himself proudly proclaimed, that it was, in his brutal mind at least, a "religious" act.

One of the worst offenders, of course, is the Prez, who Mr. Murphy accuses of offering his, by now too familiar, affectless mush on the killing. He declared that 'no faith teaches people to massacre innocents.' But that’s not how ISIS reads the Koran.

Who is Obama not to take ISIS at its word? Like the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, it is their declared goal of restoring the “Caliphate” that stirs their demented souls. If they name their religion, let us name it, too.

"It’s a sign there is an utter ruthlessness and depravity about this movement which is hideous and sickening and deplorable," is how Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott described ISIS this week. He said the killing was "as close to pure evil as we are likely to see."

Pure evil — there’s a terminology adequate to the deed.

Walt can only add that if you missed "St. James the Greater, 'Slayer of the Moors'", posted here a month ago, you should read it now. Where is St. James when we need him so badly? [Try Santiago de Compostela. Ed.]

9/11: US version of the Reichstag Fire? What about MH370?

The Reichstag was the German parliament in the 1930s. The name also referred to the building which housed it. On 27 February 1933 the building was destroyed by an arson attack. Like subsequent events which changed history, it was initially blamed on "just one man, acting alone" -- Marinus van der Lubbe, a somewhat retarded Dutch bricklayer who was caught at the scene. He was also a card-carrying Communist. Thus the Nazis were able to claim that the Communists were plotting against the German government, which was true enough but hadn't been confirmed by any overt acts until then.

The burning of the Reichstag was a turning point in the rise of Nazi Germany. Hitler, who had become Chancellor of Germany just four weeks before the fire, talked President Paul von Hindenburg into passing an emergency decree to suspend civil liberties in order to counter the "ruthless confrontation of the Communist Party of Germany".

After passing the decree, the government instituted mass arrests of Communists, including all of the Communist parliamentary delegates. With their bitter rival Communists gone and their seats empty, the Nazis went from being a plurality party to the majority. Subsequent elections confirmed this position and thus allowed Hitler to establish his Third Reich.

Some historians suggest that the Mr van der Lubbe, a mildly retarded and suggestible person, was put up to the arson by the Nazis themselves, as what is now called a "false flag" operation. It's a movie which the world would see again... and again...

Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth is one of many groups of "truthers" who believe that the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 on 11 September 2001 was caused by a controlled demolition. (The official investigation says falling debris from the nearby Twin Towers ignited fires in Building 7 and ultimately caused its collapse.)

One of AE911's members, architect Richard Gage, is on a speaking tour, "raising a red flag" (his phrase) not just in the USA but in Canada. "We're not trying to upset anybody," says the self-styled patriotic American, [but] "if there’s any question about what happened on 9/11, which created two wars and the loss of our civil liberties and massive economic hardship...then we’ve got to get to a real investigation and answer these questions."

Who would have been behind this controlled demolition and perhaps the whole 9/11 outrage? Fingers were naturally pointed at Muslim terrorists. But there were those -- including the creators of South Park-- who painted a different picture. Could it not have been the government of Bush the younger, seeking to create a "casus belli" as an excuse to start Desert Storm II and create a police state in America?

Consider what followed in the aftermath of 9/11:
- legislation like the Patriot Act in the USA (and similar "security" laws in Canada, the UK, and elsewhere)
- a de facto police state where the power of the military and "security forces" is unquestioned
- the drastic curtailment of the freedoms we used to take for granted: to bear arms, to criticize the government, to travel in our countries
- the invasion and brutal occupation of Afghanistan by NATO of Iraq and Afghanistan, and
- a resurgence of American imperialism in the guise of being the world's policeman.

Suggested reading: "Too Many Years Of Lies: From Mossadeq to 9/11" by Paul Craig Roberts, author of How America Was Lost: From 9/11 to the Police/Warfare State (just released) and The Tyranny of Good Intentions.

Which brings us to MH370, still unaccounted for as the guesses and theories multiply. The words "Muslims" and "terrorism" are on the tips of many tongues.

The pilot and co-pilot of the ill-fated plane were Muslims. (Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country.) MH370 might have been hijacked by Uighur (Muslim) terrorists as part of an attack on China. (Unlikely, but who knows.) Or the Taliban or al-Qaeda might have diverted the plane to a secret airstrip to turn it into a giant flying bomb!

Nothing can be ruled out! For Walt, "nothing" includes the possibility that the American military may have diverted MH370 to a location they control, like Diego Garcia, which should have been within range.

Why would they do this? To divert attention from the failure of Obama's foreign policy in the Crimea? Or -- far worse -- to set that stage for a catastrophe in Afghanistan -- not a long flight from Diego Garcia -- which would "require" the Americans to stay in the sandpit for another couple of years, even if the Afghans don't want them there. You read it here first.

Mission accomplished? Taliban, al-Qaeda still blowing up Afghans

As Walt reported in "Afghans mourn departure of Canadian soldiers" -- the Canadian Armed Forces closed their Middle East orifice ["office", surely! Ed.] last week, having done their bit to leave Afghanistan a safer and more civilized place than they found it when they joined the American invasion 12 years ago.

No senior officials of the Canadian government were on hand for the flag-lowering and final playing of "O Canada" (closing with the customary shout of "Drop the puck!"), but the Canadian commanding officer, Lance-Corporal Justin Beaver, assured the Canuck media that Afghanistan had been pacified and developed and would be in good hands with the new Afghan Army. We're satisfied, he said, that everything will be just hotsy-totsy.

Today the BBC reports that a suicide bomb attack in northern Afghanistan has killed at least 15 people, including women and children. Another 27 were wounded in the attack in Maymana, the capital of Faryab province, provincial governor Mohammadullah Batash said. To be fair, this part of the sandpit wasn't in Canada's zone, so the Canucks can hardly be blamed. Must have been the Americans.

The bomber is believed to have detonated his explosives near the entrance to a busy market. No group has so far said it carried out the bombing. However, Taliban insurgents and the al-Qaeda affiliated group the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan are active in the volatile region.

The attack comes as Afghans prepare to hold elections on April 5th, to freely and democratically choose a success to corrupt and useless President Krazai. Once the new president and his cronies are ensconced, the Americans will be able to leave, with hearty cries of "Mission accomplished!" and "Infidel go home!" ringing in their ears.

Updated at nigh noon - It has come to Walt's attention that some of you did not get the joke in the last sentence. It would be the TALIBAN who would be yelling "Mission accomplished!", because the foreign infidels had finally been chased out of their (alleged) country. Goddit now?!

Londoners! Militant Muslims ARE out to get you!

Walt doesn't live in England any more. And a good thing too, from what I hear (thanks to Agent 17 and the Daily Beast). Seems Paris is not the only major European city with "Muslim no-go zones". Check out the video in "Muslim 'no-go' zones in France -- the failure of multicult". London has them too, and white Christians who venture into such places are risking life and limb. No kidding!

We know this from a criminal trial which wrapped up in London yesterday. The court heard a band of Islamic vigilantes admit to roaming the streets of East London, confronting and threatening to kill non-believers in an attempt to force everyone to obey Sharia law. Three men have pleaded guilty to related charges after self-proclaimed "Muslim Patrols" attacked, intimidated and threatened to stab members of the public in an area of London that hosted the 2012 Olympic Games.

Here's the thing about these "Muslim Patrols". Judging by the pictures and the court report, the terrorist wannabes are almost all homegrown -- white boys with Christian names who have converted to Islam and entered the fast lane on the road to Paradise. Ricardo McFarlane pled guilty to affray (fighting in a public place), while Jordan Horner (the red-bearded one in the picture) pled guilty to two charges of assault and use of threatening words and behaviour. They refused instructions to stand in court as the charges were read out.

The yoofs admitted taking part in an attack on January 6th, when a group of five men were approached in the wee hours while on a toot in London's tough and grimy East End. They had cans of beer snatched from their hands and poured out. A previous hearing was told that Horner said, "Why are you poisoning your body? It is against Islam. This is Muslim Patrol. Kill the non-believers." He then told someone to "go get the shank". Horner has admitted to throwing punches at the men as they attempted to flee the scene.

Ed. here. I'm going to cut this short. One VIDEO is worth 1000 words. Here's a clip from Sky News.

The chap doing the stand-up says the bobbies are concerned that this kind of antisocial behaviour could become more widespread as other disaffected yoofs start copycatting. Indeed. Coming soon to a city near you...
