Minnesota Valentine
Just saw this today...
Apologies from Ed. to our readers who are looking for something to read, i.e. some text. Walt has been preoccupied with family matters and seasonal holidays (see below) and here it is almost Lent already. He's thinking of giving up writing (but not posting) for Lent. But if something really major happens... like the fall of the Castro Communists... he'll surely say something. Stay tuned.

VIDEO: Minnesota civil war: it's not about ICE any more (Michael Matt)
Our old friend Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, lives in Minneapolis-St. Paul. He speaks today about what's going on -- an incipient international incident -- not 100 miles from his home.
Today, it was -20 F in the Twin Cities, yet tens of thousands – including many priests and rabbis — showed up for the #ICEout rally. Bivc-President J.D. Vance flew to Minnesota to tell the press that, although he wants more co-operation with local law enforcement, the Insurrection Act is not needed.
Meanwhile, President Trump does a complete 180 and says the shooting of Renee Good was a "tragic accident." In this week's Remnant Underground, Mr Matt explains why so many conservative influencers agree that the ICE tactics are the problem.
Joe Rogan compared the tactics to those of the Gestapo, and Bill O'Reilly said that if POTUS doesn't find a way to lower the temperature he's going to "lose the country."
Mr Matt argues that this is not a Republican vs Democrat issue. There is a whole lot more going on here than mere immigration enforcement. What is happening in Minnesota right now could negatively impact the entire world. Why so much outrage? Where’s the Catholic Church? And what’s the connection between Minneapolis, Gaza, Greenland and Davos? If you scrolled past the "play" button, go back and hit it now.

Minnesota's most popular TV series
Still running, after all these years and all these elections. Apparently Minnesotans enjoy working for 50 years so the Somali-loving Timmy Walz and his cronies can take their retirement savings away from them. Perhaps this is an example of the famous Minnesotan sense of humor?

From the Babylon Bee: too good not to repost in full
Walz Announces $8 Billion Grant To Somali Company
To Investigate Fraud
ST. PAUL, MN — In response to growing allegations of fraud tied to Minnesota's Somali community, Governor Tim Walz announced he had awarded an $8 billion grant to a Somali company to find the perpetrators.
"I'm sparing no expense to find those responsible," Governor Walz announced. "That's why I'm consulting with a Somali private detective agency. They know when to run a mean pick-six. They also run a nifty daycare center."
To date, approximately $18 billion has been lost to fraud in Minnesota through fake social service programs run by Somalis, some of whom may be in the country illegally. Walz hopes to get to the bottom of the scandal with a lucrative grant to the newly formed Osman Farah Private Eye Detective Agency for Finding Welfare Fraud
"Look at me. Look at me. I am the detective now," said Detective Osman Farah.
Democrats praised Walz for rising above politics to get to the bottom of the fraud case. "Well, I'm convinced," said Minnesota Congressional Representative Ilhan Omar. "Nothing to see here. As usual, America is the real villain."
Previously, Republicans questioned Walz's leadership throughout the Somali daycare fraud scandal, even going so far as to suggest he's involved. Now, however, they're certain he's just mentally handicapped and unable to run an elaborate money laundering scheme himself.
"We should probably have him arrested, but honestly, this is all so entertaining," House Speaker Mike Johnson said as he ate a bag of popcorn while watching the news. "Ha, they just found another billion. Hilarious."
At publishing time, Somali detectives announced they were close to cracking the case and just needed another $8 billion in funds to be sure.

VIDEO: Minnesota school shooting "not a tragedy": Victor Davis Hanson
More commentary on the murder of two innocent school children -- now rightly called "Christian martyrs", according to Dr Taylor Marshall -- by an evil transgender person. Victor Davis Hanson explains why it's wrong to call this a "tragedy", or to sweep under the DEI carpet the facts of Robin/Robert Westman's disordered life. Only 10 minutes, and we do need to talk and think about these things.

"American man" murdered in Toronto
Agent 3 sent us reports of two crime stories which were carried -- edited for political correctness -- by Toronto's controlled media for less than 24 hours yesterday. Black on black crime is not a big deal in Toronto the Good. I'm posting the story here more for what it says about the obvious liberal bias of the Canuck media when it comes to matters of race and immigration. So then...
Meet Mohamed Jeylani, who died on Wednesdsay afternoon after a stabbing in Scarborough, the eastern part of Toronto, the most multicultural city in the world (according to Mayor John Jello.) He was identified by all three of the city's major news outlets --CTV, CBC and Global TV -- as "a man from the United States". He was from an unidentified city in Minnesota, likely not unadjacent to Minneapolis, which is home to a large community of Somali refugees "new Americans".
Inspector Knacker of the Metropolitan Police said his minions were searching for a man believed to be about 20 to 25 years old, 5' 11", with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded top and light-coloured pants at the time of the stabbing. The identifying factor which was omitted from the CBC and Global reports, and quickly deleted from the CTV story, is that the suspect was, errr, black.
Mr Jeylani's death was Toronto's first homicide of 2021. That it was so late in the new year must be one of the benefits of the Covid "crisis" lockdown!
Walt wonders what this "American man" was doing in Toronto. In theory, the World's Longest Undefended Border (TM) is closed, except for "essential workers" or others who are exempt because they are needed in both countries. Like hockey players. I wonder what kind of "essential work" Mr Jeylani was engaged in.
Last night, CTV reported that Ontario's police watchdog has been called in to investigate after a man was shot during an interaction with Toronto police. The cops spotted a "a vehicle of interest" in the parking lot of Church’s Chicken (!), near Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, the very same part of Scarberia where the homicide occurred.
As officers attempted to block in the vehicle, the vehicle rammed into the police vehicles. An "interaction" follwed, the Special Investigations Unit said, and "an officer discharged their[sic] firearm" and struck one of two people they were investigating. The two individuals were later taken into custody, police said.
A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Two police officers were also taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Inspector Singh (Hey, it's Toronto!) said he could not provide further details about the incident, such as the identity of the "individuals". Nor would he comment on a possible link with the stabbing of Mr Jeylani. End of story. Nothing here to see, folks.

VIDEO: Michael Matt mounts the soapbox for Still-President Trump
Walt has often reposted videos by Michael Matt, Editor of The Remnant newspaper. In times past he has spoken from the Editor's desk on matters of interest to Catholics. But during the 2020 election campaign he has begun to talk more and more about the important of re-electing President Trump, because he's the one standing up for Christian and American values.
Now, for the first time, Mr Matt has got up on a soapbox to deliver a speech at a Trump rally in Minnesota last weekend. This event was not organized by Catholics, but rather by Americans who are waking up a bit more every day to the chaos that was inevitable after we threw Christ out of our schools and political institutions.
It's interesting (Mr Matt writes in an e-mail) to consider that only a few years ago, Traditional Catholics were being dismissed as paranoid conspiracy theorists. Not so anymore! People outside traditional Catholic circles are suddenly very eager to receive the message Mr Matt (and Walt and many others) have been trying to send for years.
President Trump is far from perfect, but he's done a good job exposing the anti-Christians, in the Catholic Chuch and out. And he may be America's last best political hope against the demons that want to fundamentally reset our nation and hand it over to an anti-Christian New World Order.

VIDEO: Michael Matt speaks about Trump, Francis and the war on God
No introduction necessary, I think. America is burning and anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear should know why. It all flows from the liberal globalist lockdown imposed on us by our craven politicians and the (((controlled media))). The New World Order has arrived, and this is what it looks like. Here's what Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, has to say.

Somali tribesmen of MN (!) fall for anti-vaxxers' BS, get sick and die
Among the barbaric cultural practices that refugees, asylum-seekers and other immigrants from Third World shitholes bring with them is a belief that modern Western medicines are designed to kill them, or at least keep them from reproducing like brown rabbits.
Let Walt remediate the inspecificity. The Western medicine we're talking about is the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine given to over 90% of North American kids in early childhood. And the community of ignorant immigrants in question is the tribe of Somali "refugees" imported by the Obama administration from one of the world's worst failed states.
In a story headlines "Measles outbreak sickens dozens of Minnesota Somalis who avoid vaccine", the Chicago Tribune reports on a serious outbreak of measles in Minnesota, where 34 cases have been confirmed in the last two weeks alone. Why? Because the Muslim invaders -- 99% of Somalis are Muslims -- are refusing the MMR vaccine because, in their ignorance, they believe the canard being circulated by the crazy anti-vaxxers that the vaccine causes autism.
The story quotes the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to the effect that measles, which was declared eliminated in the USA in 2000, has now gained a foothold in the larger community because of the intransigence of the clannish immigrants. Nearly everyone infected is unvaccinated, and all but a few are of Somali descent. So far, 11 children have been hospitalized. A spokesthingy for the Department of Health says the source of the outbreak is unknown, but that such outbreaks in the US are typically caused when international travellers are infected overseas and bring the virus home.
According to the Health Department, 42% of Minnesota-born Somali toddlers had received the MMR vaccine as of 2017. But the take-up rate hasn't always been that low. In 2004, 92% of Somali kids had thir shots. But the community's immunization rate fell to 70% in 2008 amid a perception that autism was becoming more common among Somali children. A 2014 study by the American Board of Family Medicine found 35% of Somali parents surveyed believed the measles vaccine causes autism, something believed by only 8% of non-Somalis.
Other communities with low vaccination rates have also been affected by measles in recent years. Nearly 20 people in the Orthodox Jewish community in Los Angeles were sickened by measles in December. 58 came down with the disease in 2013 when measles swept through Orthodox Jewish communities in New York.

A prayer mourning the prohibition of public prayer
In mid-April, Canada's activist liberal Supreme Court decided to emulate its American counterpart by ruling, once and for all, that although a nation may be "under God", it's a violation of some people's "human rights" to invoke His help and mercy in public, as, for instance, at the opening of a meeting of a municipal council.
The court ruled on April 15th that the mayor and council of Saguenay QC must stop praying before meetings. And -- get this -- they must pay compensatory and punitive damages of C$30,000 (nearly $25,000 in real money) to an atheist who complained of discrimination!
Alain Simoneau had complained to the Québec Human Rights Tribunal of discrimination because the Saguenay mayor and council pray before their official meetings. The tribunal ruled he had been discriminated against and ordered the mayor and council to pay damages. Saguenay Mayor Jean Tremblay, a devout Catholic, began soliciting funds to fight for the right to pray at council meetings and appealed the tribunal ruling to the Québec Court of Appeal, which overturned it. The Supreme Court of Canada reinstated the tribunal's judgment and ordered the payment of the original fine plus interest.
Mr. Justice Clement Gascon (who probably describes himself as a Catholic) wrote, "The prayer recited by the municipal council in breach of the state's duty of neutrality resulted in a distinction, exclusion, and preference based on religion -- that is, based on Mr. Simoneau's atheism -- which, in combination with the circumstances in which the prayer was recited, turned the meetings into a preferential space for people with theistic beliefs."
"People with theistic beliefs", eh... Like Mayor Tremblay. Like Walt [and Poor Len and Ed.! Ed.] And, Walt is sure, like the anonymous 15-year-old Minnesotan who (according to Agent 6, to whom be thanks) wrote the following New School Prayer, to be said in the place of the now-prohibited "Lord's Prayer" (or "Our Father", as we Catholics call it).

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And any time my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, and precise;
Prayers spoken aloud are serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate;
God's name is prohibited by the State.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles,
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot, my soul please take!
AMEN!
