VIDEO: Monday morning quarterbacking Super Bowl LIX

Hey, how about that Super Bowl LIX! If you're a KC fan, or a KC bettor (even worse), you didn't have a lot to cheer about, as the Chiefs failed to cover the spread. As defending champions, sportsbooks had the Chiefs as 1.5-point favourites before the game. The game was expected to be high-scoring, with an over-under of 48.5. And so it was, but unsophisticated people [like Walt. Ed.] who just look at the raw scores, thought it was a pretty unexciting contest.

Of course nowadays there's a lot more to bet on than the scores.but there were plenty of bets that were very close. The national anthem, for example, was right at the line for the time but was officially scored just under the 120.5-second line. From the coin toss to how many times Taylor Swift was on camera to the Gatorade bath and the MVP, the New York Times has the results of all the major Super Bowl prop bets in a "party props sheet". [You didn't think it would be free, didja|? Ed.]

And how about that half-time show? Walt switched to a rerun of I Love Lucy on a cable channel, but according to the lengthy and fulsome NYT review, it came down to another round in the fight the star attraction, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake, the alleged Canadian, who was somewhere else.

Mr Lamar (né Kendrick Lamar Duckworth) made  his Drake diss ÈNot Like Us" the centerpiece of his set. He wore denim-on-denim, often called a "Canadian tuxedo", a potential dig at Drake, who was actually born ion the Great No-longer-white North. While performing recently in Australia, Drake told fans, in a possible allusion to the fallout from his feud with Lamar, that he is still "very much alive." Just not in the USA or Canada, though.

Some display of "American culture", eh. I might have written "Black culture", but in truth present-day American culture is Black culture. In its review, the NYT reminds us that Kendrick Lamar is a Pulitzer Prize winner. That there tells you all you need to know.

Agent 78, whose native tongue is not English, said, "Am I supposed to talk like that? I have no idea what he was saying." Agent 3, who is a dual citizen residing in Canuckistan, wrote, "If this is what Canada will be like if it becomes the 51st state, fuggedaboutit!"

At least one person who was part of the halftime show had a different idea of how to use the performance to advance an agenda. Toward the end of the set, he pulled out a banner combining the flags of Palestine and Sudan that featured a heart and a fist. Was this part of the performance, another level of commentary woven into a show already packed with it? Thanks to the Times of India, we have video.

 

In footage captured from inside the stadium but not broadcast, that individual was chased off the main stage just a few seconds after whipping out the flag. He ran around the field for a spell before he was tackled by a coterie of security guards in suits and carried off the field. That revolution, at least, would not be televised.

Another aspect of American culture was on display after the game, as 1000s of Eagles fans spilled out of bars and onto the streets of Philthydelphia after watching their team humble the Kansas City Chiefs. [Isn't "Chiefs" kind of racist, like "Redskins"? Ed.]

The city had opted not to grease the light poles even though a fan died two weeks ago after falling from a light pole after the NFC Championship Game. Despite that tragedy, Eagles fans showed no hesitation in climbing to the top of light poles, cars, construction vehicles, garbage trucks, small buildings, and almost anything else they could find.

Some fans clashed with and taunted police as officers attempted to keep the crowd confined to certain areas and under control. Dozens of fireworks were set off in the streets. However, it seems as though most Eagles fans wanted to climb things. Pole greasing and pleas to "PLEASE not climb them" didn't work.  

However, the joyful demonstrations were mostly peaceful, with not a lot of "reparations shopping", possibly because many businesses in the City of Bruvverly Love have been closed permanently because of... you know... something white people did.

That's enough. No more football until next year. Ed.

Philadelphia stories: The Great Replacement + Bill Burr rant

If anyone reading this thinks the Great Replacement is a myth or a conspiracy theory, let them look around. Here's a recent picture taken in southwest Philadelphia.

This is the scene as 1000s of followers of the Prophet from west Africa congregate outside after Friday prayers at Masjid Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jama'ah mosque in southwest Philadelphia, published recently by WaPo. Note that they waited until after the election to post this!

Their analysis of immigration court data shows that the Great Replacement planned by George Soros et al is in full swing in the dying days of the Biden-Harris administration. Nearly 77,000 migrants from Africa entered the United States in 2023 alone, up from about 11,000 in 2022 and about 3,900 in 2021. During the first 10 months of this year, over 22,000 arrived. 

Unrest in Africa, stricter asylum policies in Europe and easier access via smartphone to information about the 10,000-mile journey to the United States all helped fuel the increase. While the Big Apple (rotten to the core) remains the top destination, several thousand have also settled in Philthyelphia, where an effort is underway to rebrand one pocket of the city as "Africatown". 

Yes, seriously. Looking to New York’s Little Italy or Chinatown in Los Angeles, community organizers here want to make turn a 50-square-block slum into "a showcase for African food and culture — offering a home away from home for immigrants, and a window into Africa for everyone."

Are ya ready for that? WaPo admits that tensions have erupted as the demographics of southwest Philly change. Some longtime residents, including many of the coloured persuasion, say they adamantly oppose naming their neighborhood for another continent. Terri Powell, 69, who is black and has lived in the area for three decades, told the leftist rag, "This is not Africa. They moved into this area. But Africatown? No, this is Southwest Philadelphia, and we were here first."

But the backers of Africatown (whom WaPo discreetly does not name) say they aren't halting their plans, and are confident that President-Elect Trump won’t be able to remove them, especially those who have applied for asylum and are waiting for their cases to make their way through the court system.

Stay tuned. And let's face it, Philadelphia isn't that great a city anyway, at least not according to Bill Burr. This video was recorded way back in 2006 when Mr Burr was on The Traveling Virus Comedy Tour, hitting large venues around the nation. When the tour came to the Philadelphia area (technically The Tweeter Center across the river in Camden NJ, things got ugly.

The unruly crowd booed the first comedian off the stage and then proceeded to give hell to all other comedians on the bill. When Dom Irrera was booed off the stage, Bill followed him and decided to go on the offensive. He spent his entire set -- 12+ minutes -- picking apart everything about the city from its food, its sports teams, its icons, all while receiving boos from the audience. WARNING: There's a lot, a lot, of racist stuff and "bad" language here, including the seldom-heard "c-word". If you're a Karen [or a Flyers fan. Poor Len], don't listen.

By the time the set (which Bill counted down minute by minute) was over, much of the crowd gave him a standing ovation. He has been known ever since as the tamer of unruly audiences, and earned an incredible amount of respect from comedians and working-class audiences who now adore him.

Walt's message for the Glorious (?) Fourth of July

I trust the import of Ed.'s remark about a bang-up Fourth of July (especially in Baltimore) was no lost on our readers. What can one say about a country in which there have been, on average, ten (count `em, 10) mass murders every July 4th for the last five years.

What can one say about a country whose large cities -- almost all run by Democratic "administrations" -- are unsafe for straight, law-abiding citizens? What can one say about the "blue states" on the east and left coasts whose sane people are fleeing to the unwoke heartland, where there is a chance of living in peace, without having to keep one eye open while sleeping?

Demented Joe Biden's America is broken (and broke, too). You know it. I know it. Even President Brandon -- "God save the queen, man!", his cronies and arse-kissers, and the lickspittle media know it, although they keep pretending everything is OK.

Waiting for the 8th - "Election denier"? Who? Me? You bet!

"Election denier" is the latest term of opprobrium coined by the lickspittle media... or their Democrat masters... to describe those of us who dare to say that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. It goes into the thesaurus as a synonm for Republican, fascist, white supremacist, Nazi, racist, yada yada yada.

You can call me whatever you like, but I saw it happen before my very eyes, following the same pattern as the "democratic" elections in Zimbabwe some years before. Yer man is losing, so you stop the counting, because it's late or because the power's out, whatever. Then all goes dark and, comes the dawn, yer man is suddenly ahead!

During the night, it seems, truckloads of ballots have appeared out of nowhere (read: Philadelphia), which pushed yer man into an insurmountable lead. GOP poll watchers weren't asleep. They were kept in the dark, literally, at some distance from those who tabulated the results. Et voilà.

Walt awaits the results of Tuesday's mid-terms. Let's suppose (and pray) that Republican candidates win some close races, like... errr... the Pennsylvania Senate race. Will the Dumbocrats then complain that some great fraud has been committed and the election stolen? Can we then call them "election deniers"? Can we? Huh?

BN summarizes President Brandon's "non-political" speech

Apparently Hunter's Dad gave what White House flaks called a "non-political" speech near Independende Hall in Philthydelphia yesterday. I didn't watch it. It was only carried by CNN and MSNBC which tells you all ye need to know right there.

That his "non-political" speech, supposedly on the topic of voting rights, took place right before Labour Day, the traditional kickoff time for political campaign season, also reveals Joe's real motive for coming out of his holiday home. The Democrats are shit-scared of losing control of Congress in November's midterm election, so clearly it was time to start stoking the fires of fear of a return of the Orange Man.

I'm grateful to Breitbart News for providing, on this morning's landing page, a summary of what Senile Joe's "non-political" speech was all about. Here are the headlines, with links.

So much for Brandon's "non-political" speech. I can hardly wait for his political speech! 

As a further comment, I can't recall -- and my recollection stretches back to the Eisenhower days -- a sitting President ever slandering his predecessor in the way Mr Biden has slandered Mr Trump. The latter never excoriated the Prez (who richly deserved it) as he has been excoriated by Demented Joe, who I believe is suffering not just from incipient Alzheimer's, but from TDS.

During his speech, delivered from behind bullet-proof glass, President Brandon was continually hounded by protesters chanting "Let's go, Brandon" and "Fuck Joe Biden!" Siren noises, shouts and someone yelling on a bullhorn were audible in the background throughout the 25-minute rant.

The next couple of months should be interesting. Stay tuned.

UPDATED: Are Canadians being set up for a US-style fake election?

Ed. here. Walt is en route to what could be the scene of the crime. What crime? How about a fake election, with the winner already determined, and the machinery in place to ensure that the result is what the liberal one-worlders want, i.e. a win, close enough to be plausible, for Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface. In Canada? Surely not! 

But wait... Before he left, Walt told me to check a story posted on the CTV News website yesterday, September 17th, at 1029 EDT. Here's the headline. "Assuming current scenario holds, 'we're looking at a Liberal win,' Nanos says". "Nanos" is Nik Nanos, a "non-biased" (read: liberal) pollster currently selling his guesswork to CTV and the Globe and Mail. Such is Mr Nanos' lack of bias that for the first three weeks of the election campaign he wouldn't even ask people if they intended to vote for Max Bernier's People's Party of Canada. PPC support was just lumped in with "other". 

Here is the key part of the article, explaining why Mr Nanos is so certain of the result -- 72 hours before voting commences! 

"Examining the share of seats in the House of Commons the Liberals could win, Nanos said it looks like history is shaping up to repeat itself in 2021.

"And what could aid that Liberal victory? Mail-in ballots.

"According to Nanos Research's nightly tracking data conducted for CTV News and the Globe and Mail, which was released on Friday, those Canadians who plan to vote by mail-in ballot are four times more likely to vote for the Liberals than the Conservatives." 

OK, that's Mr Nanos' guess, and he (and other pollsters) have been known to be wrong before. That's what Walt thought. But this morning the CBC -- owned and operated by the Canadian Ministry of Truth -- advised Canucks that they "might go to bed Monday night without knowing the final results of the federal election. They might not even know who won by Tuesday morning." 

Howcum? "That's because this year, Elections Canada isn't counting hundreds of thousands of local special ballots — votes from Canadians living in their ridings who opted to vote by mail — until Tuesday." 

Elections Canada is the "independent" agency of the Government of Canada (J. Trudeau, Prop.) charged with running federal elections. The people who work for Elections Canada -- even the temps -- is beholden to the Liberal government for their jobs and salaries. That includes the people who will count the mail-in ballots in the wee hours of Tuseday morning.

Theirs is a hard job. "The returning office has to go through a set of verifications before they even open a ballot envelope to put it in the box," said Elections Canada spokesperson Diane Benson. Those verifications include making sure those who voted by mail did not also vote in-person on election day. "Only after that will those ballots be counted," said Benson. "So it could be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday ... because it depends on the volume and it depends on how long it takes to do those verifications and then the count."

Can we be forgiven for mooting a resemblance to the way the job is done in places like Philadelphia, where (it is said) the folks counting the ballots call up Democratic Party HQ not to report on how many votes were cast, but to ask how many votes they need!

We cannot forget what happened in the darkness of the night of November 8th-9th. President Trump had a comfortable lead in Pennsylvania until around midnight, when counting (or at least reporting) suddenly was "paused". Then, a couple of hours later, there was an incredible surge of results from mail-in ballots, 99% of which were for Sleepy Joe Biden. 

Of course in Canada no-one would suspect fraud if the results changed dramatically at sunrise of The Day After... would they?

UPDATE ADDED 21/9/21: As it turned out, the mail-in ballots, which are being counted even as I write, were not a big factor in the Gliberal win. There were only a handful of ridings (electoral districts) in which the in-person count was so close that the number of mail-in ballots received (which was known, since, unlike the USA, only ballots received on election day would be counted) could make a difference. A couple of seats might change hands, but the same could happen as a result of a recount, so overall, no biggie.

How an election was stolen

The events in this true story took place not in the Excited States of America, but in the Land of Bambazonke, aka Zimbabwe, a southern Afican shithole where I lived and worked in the 1990s. I left Zimbabwe on the Flying Dutchman in 2001, but kept in touch with an ever-decreasing number of colleagues and friends, until they too left... or died.

The People's Republic of Zimbabwe had been ruled since its independence in 1980 by Comrade Robert Gabriel Mugabe, a neo-Marxist anti-colonialist dictator who tolerated the presence of an opposition party so he could say his country wasn't a one-party state, although in fact it was.

Having an opposition means you have to have an election every now and then, just for show, and Uncle Bob decreed that his people should vote for him again in March 2008. Because of Zimbabwe's dire economic situation, the elections were expected to provide the incumbent and his ZANU-PF party with their toughest electoral challenge to date. 

The opposition Movement for Democratic Change, led by Morgan Tsvangirai, accused the government of planning to rig the election. Human Rights Watch said that the election was likely to be "deeply flawed", and so it was. As election night, March 29th, wore on, unofficial counts showed MDC-T building up big leads in the cities of Harare and Bulawayo, but the more populous rural areas were slow to report. In the wee hours of the morning of March 30th, counting was halted, with no explanation.

No official results were announced for more than a month thereafter. The failure to release results was strongly criticized by the MDC, which unsuccessfully sought a court order to force their release. After a recount and "verification" of the results, the government-controlled Zimbabwe Electoral Commission announced on May 2nd that Mr Tsvangirai won 47.9% of the vote and President Mugabe 43.2%, necessitating a run-off, to be held on 27 June 2008.

Political violence ensued, for which  ZANU-PF and MDC each blamed the other's supporters. On June 22nd, Mr Tsvangirai announced that he was withdrawing from the run-off, describing it as a "violent sham" and saying that his supporters risked being killed if they voted for him. The second round of elections went ahead with President Mugabe as the only actively participating candidate, although Mr Tsvangirai's name remained on the ballot. 

Comrade Bob won the second round by an overwhelming margin -- 85.3% to 9.3% -- and was sworn in for another term on 29 June 2008. He remained President until November of 2017, when, at the age of 93, he was ousted by his own party in a bloodless coup.

Any similarity between the events described above and last night's goings-on in Philthydelphia and Allegheny County PA and Atlants and Fulton County GA is purely coincidental.

A message from Walt to the anti-everything protesters

A Pew Research national survey released this week shows that more than 70% of Americans are "angry" about the "state of the country". Just 17% say they are "proud" when thinking about the present situation in the Excited States of America.

The survey also found "only minor demographic differences in reported emotional reactions about the state of the country." For instance, "two-thirds or more across all age groups" were "angry about the state of the nation." In addition, the poll found that identical shares of white and black adults (72% each) say they feel angry, while roughly as many Hispanic adults (67%) are "angry" as well.

To all those who will be tempted to take to the streets tomorrow, The Glorious Fourth, to vent their anger, Walt has this to say:

Footnote: The signing of the United States Declaration of Independence, authored by Thomas Jeffeerson and a committee of five, occurred primarily on August 2, 1776 at Independence Hall (the Pennsylvania State House) in Philadelphia. The 56 delegates to the Second Continental Congress represented the 13 former colonies which had declared themselves the "United States of America," and they endorsed the Declaration of Independence which the Congress had approved on July 4, 1776. All of the signatories were white males of European descent. Some of them were slave-owners. Get that in ya!

VIDEO: Kate Smith (racist!) sings "God Bless America!"

Why is Walt posting this today? Because word has just reached us from Philthydelphia that the NHL Flyers have removed from in front of the team's arena a statue of the late Kate Smith, which had been there since 1987. Flyers fans had long believed that their team would win crucial games if Kate sang "God Bless America" (instead of "The Star-spangled Banner") before the puck drop. And that's the way it turned out, 90% of the time, when this video was recorded on 19 May 1974.



So what happened? Why was the late Kate's statue first covered up, a couple of days ago, and then taken down? Well, it turns out that Ms Smith, like all other white Americans of her era, was a racist! Why, she recorded overtly racist songs, like "Pickaninny Heaven" (1933) and "That's Why the Darkies Were Born", written in 1931 and considered simple satire at the time. And her cartoon likeness appeared in a 1939 ad for Calumet Baking Powder that also used the "mammy" caricature -- think Gone With the Wind -- a well-known racist depiction of black women. For shame!

And so, 80 years later, Kate Smith becomes the latest victim of political  correctness and the anti-racism SJWs. Thank goodness she passed away in 1986 and didn't live to see what has become of the America she loved.

VIDEO: True story of Philadelphia baby-killer now a movie

I don't go to the movies any more. Hollywood is churning out so much trash. And it's not even so-bad-it's-funny trash, like Plan 9 From Outer Space. It's just remakes, sequels and prequels like the latest excrescence in the Star Wars series -- franchises well past their sell-by dates being warmed over in hopes of a few quick bucks. And of course it's mostly fiction. Very few documentaries or even dramatized true stories will be found on the silver screen, at least not in my corner of the forest.

But there's always an exception -- a movie worth seeing and perhaps even worth recommending. One such, which made its debut on October 12th in cinemas across America (although not many of them) is Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer, which I'm going to recommend even though the subject matter -- the crimes of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell -- is such as to provoke anger, outrage, perhaps even despair. This movie won't rake in piles of money, but may well be the most important film to be released this year. Here's the trailer.



I first wrote about Kermit Gosnell's many murders, committed under the guise of "reproductive health services", in "How to kill unwanted babies (and make loadsa dough)", WWW 20/3/13. Two months later, after a trial revealed gruesome details which it is no exaggereation to call "horrific", "Kermit the Baby Killer" was found guilty as charged (WWW 13/5/13), and is now serving three consecutive life sentences.

Mr Gosnell (he wasn't really a doctor) may be in prison, but the evil of abortion persists, paid for in large part by public funds -- your tax dollars -- paid to organizations such as Planned Parenthood. These groups say they are promoting women's health and "a woman's right to choose", but are actually funding the medical murder of 1000s of babies -- some of them born alive, as in the Gosnell case -- every day of every month of every year, right across the USA.

This movie, like Mr Gosnell's crimes, won't get much notice in the lamestream media. While the trial was going on, Conor Friedersdorf, writing in The Atlantic, asked why it wasn't being covered more. "The news value is undeniable," he said. "This story has numerous elements any one of which would normally make it a major story. And setting aside conventions, which are flawed, this ought to be a big story on the merits."

What is behind the studied silence of the media is the same aggressive secularism and political correctness that keeps us from even discussing the evils and perversions of our post-Christian society. Nothing is "wrong" any more, because we -- or at least our "progressive thinkers" and opinion-makers -- have lost the ability to distinguish between wrong and right. Whatever your position on abortion, Gosnell: The Trial of America's Biggest Serial Killer is worth seeing and thinking about. That's why the baby-killers in the abortion industry don't want you to know about it. But now you know. Please share this post by passing on the URL to your neighbours, friends and family.

VIDEO: "Hey, mofo! I gots to use da baffroom!"

Around 3 AM on July 15th, Leliqua Clarke, a black "lady" resident in the ghetto that is Brampton ON, felt that she needed to use the washroom. Being out and about (as Canucks say) rather than home in bed, she drove into a nearby Tim Hortons -- Canada's cheaper, better version of Starbucks. Unlike the infamous Starbucks of Philthydelphia, Timmie's doesn't mind if non-patrons avail of their "facilities", provided that the store is open.

Unfortunately for Ms Clarke, this particular outlet, although open 24/7, wisely offers drive-through service only from 10 PM until the sun comes up. What to do? Rather than squatting in the parking lot, as is not unknown in such places, Ms Clarke decided to climb through the drive-through service window! The staff -- a 25-year-old woman, reportedly pregnant, and a 20-year-old man, were taken by surprise. A tussle ensued.



[Who took that video?! Ed.] Never mind! Just pay attention to what happened! You can see Ms Clarke holding the female employee in a headlock while the male employee tries to get her to loosen the grip. Then Ms Clarke throws a number of punches at the female employee. Both employees suffered minor injuries.

Unlike the employees of the Philadelphia Starbucks, the Timmie's staff didn't call the cops. It wasn't until the video went viral on YouTube that the Authorities intervened. The local constabulary tracked down and arrested Ms Clarke, charging her with two counts of assault and one count of break and enter with intent to commit a crime. (Agent 3 says defence lawyers -- doubtless retained at taxpayers' expense through Ontario's legal aid plan -- should demand specifics of the intended crime!) She will be in court this morning for a bail hearing

Without making any snarky comments about race, Tim Hortons issued a statement calling Ms Clarke's behaviour "aggressive" and "completely unacceptable" saying no one should come to work expecting to be treated so harshly. They have no plans, they said, to conduct any Starbucks-style sensitivity training.

No matter what Donald Trump says, the truth is that Canadians are always playing catch-up, trying to keep up with their American cousins, not just in trade but in entertainment, culture [There's "culture" in America? Ed.], politics (e.g. Doug Ford's win in Ontario a year and a half after the Trump Triumph), and, sure enough, political correctness.

Earlier this year, after two black men got arrested for loitering in one of its Philthydelphia stores, Starbucks discovered that it had a problem with cultural insensitivity. (Loitering comes naturally to black dudes, see, and you're not allowed to call them on it.) So they decided to close all the stores in the Paranoid States of America on May 29th to give the baristas a Special High Intensity Training course in sensitivity.

A bit later, somebody at HQ said to somebody else, "Hey, we forgot about Canada!" The response likely was, "We have stores there? Oh geez, better put them down for some of that SHIT too!" And so, Agent 3 informs me, SHIT happened in Canada today, from sea to sea to sea. Agent 3 donned a green apron and snuck into one of the sessions, from which he sent this spycam video.

So, farewell then New England Patriots. And congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on a convincing victory in yesterday's Super Bowl LII. (You'll hear the Super Bowl and the Eagles mentioned at about the 8-minute mark of this video.) I should have bet. Poor Len tells me that everyone, everyone on RDS was calling Patriots by 3 or more. But I would have had to bet on (and cheer for) Philthydelphia, and, to be honest, I've never liked that city or any of its sports teams. Never.

I am not alone. Bill Burr doesn't think much of Philadelphia either, as he makes clear in this rant, recorded in 2006 when he and many of the regular comedians of The Opie & Anthony Show were on The Traveling Virus Comedy Tour, hitting large venues around the USA. Things went south when the tour came to the Philadelphia area -- actually The Tweeter Center across the river in Camden, NJ. Right from the get-go, the crowd set the tone by booing the first comedian off the stage and then proceeded to give hell to all other comedians on the bill.

When Dom Irrera was booed off the stage, Mr Burr followed him and decided to go on the offensive. He spent his entire set picking apart everything about the city -- its food, its sports teams, its icons -- all while receiving boos from the audience. But he didn't let the crowd get him, and kept hammering the audience until some started to turn in his favour. By the time the 12-minute set (counting down every passing minute) was over, much of the crowd gave the comedian a standing ovation. He replied by telling them, "Go fuck yourselves in your own assholes."

VIDEO: CBS, NBC play down black attacks on whites in Philadelphia

Let's start with the headline, as it appears on the CBS Philly website: "Temple Students Attacked, Officer Thrown To Ground, Police Horse Punched In Assaults". And here's the video.



OK... What's missing from that report? Walt will tell you. The TV station's very PC news team -- a black man and a white woman on the anchor desk and a Vietnamese-American woman doing the stand-up -- omitted entirely any mention of the racial aspect of the attacks shown clearly in the video. The fact is that the attackers were black, and the victims were white. If you doubt it, watch again. If you are surprised, what planet have you been living on?

The NBC outlet in Philadelphia took exactly the same PC line, even though their footage also revealed the truth that the attacks were aimed at whites.

According to CBS, the violence was planned "through social media" with a message for a "large group of teens" to meet near the campus Friday night. They said that police estimate that 200 "teenagers" were in the crowd at the movie theater at Broad and Oxford and then divided into smaller groups, attacking and robbing other "students", who all just happened to be white.

"Teens" and "juveniles" are code words for non-white, used by the controlled lamestream media when they want to avoid mentioning race. Need I add that if the "teens" had been white, we would have been spared no detail about the "racist whites". But since the attackers were black, if race is mentioned at all it's only to say that the poor, disadvantaged yoofs are angry because they've been "marginalized" and "excluded" from society.

Could there be any reason, other than political correctness, for not calling a spade a spade? Wouldn't have anything to do with the upcoming election, would it? Of course not.

"Kermit the Baby Killer" found GUILTY as charged

There is some justice in this world after all. Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortionist who wilfully cut the spinal cords of babies born alive in botched late-term abortions, was found guilty today on three counts of murder.

To appreciate the diabolical evil of what the abortionist did, one has only to read these excerpts from the latest Associated Press report.

Former clinic employees testified that Gosnell routinely performed illegal late-term abortions past Pennsylvania’s 24-week limit, that he delivered babies who were still moving, whimpering or breathing, and that he and his assistants “snipped” [Gosnell's word] the newborns’ spines.

“Are you human?” prosecutor Ed Cameron snarled during closing arguments as Gosnell sat calmly at the defense table. “To med these women up and stick knives in the backs of babies?”

The grisly details came out more than two years ago during an investigation of prescription drug trafficking at Gosnell’s clinic in an impoverished section of West Philadelphia.

Authorities said the clinic was a foul-smelling “house of horrors” with bags and bottles of stored fetuses, including jars of severed feet, along with bloodstained furniture, dirty medical instruments, and cats roaming the premises.

Under the law of Pennsylvania, the "good doctor" now faces the possibility of the death penalty, although Walt doubts that the punishment would be administered in quite the same inhumane way.

We'll revisit this story when the inevitable appeal is filed. After all, the lamestream media are saying already, Gosnell was "targetted" because he's black and was just providing a service to poor disadvantaged women who were themselves victims of a white, elitist medical system. Hell, say the pro-abortion gang, they're all victims!

Gosnell did not testify, and his lawyer called no witnesses in his defence. But he argued that the doctor provided desperate young woman with “a solution to their problems,” and he branded prosecutors “elitist” and “racist” for pursuing his client, who is black and whose patients were mostly poor minorities. “We know why he was targeted,” [said the babykiller's defender].

Unborn children treated "like trash" in America: Archbishop of Philadelphia

It is not difficult to anticipate or understand the reaction of the Church to the trial of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, aka "Kermit the Babykiller". Now the Archbishop of Philadelphia, site of the atrocities, has spoken out very clearly in an interview with Vatican Radio.

Most Rev. Charles Chaput of Philadelphia said that “after a while we begin to disrespect human life in ways that are just shockingly coarse. And that’s what happened here. They were treating the babies from the womb as though they were pieces of trash.”


The horrific case “is clearly a result of cultural change in the United States, where unborn children are treated carelessly, and cruelly, and in a horribly disrespectful kind of way,” the prelate continued.

“If we can treat unborn children this way, it means we’re capable of treating born children this way, and the elderly this way,” Archbishop Chaput added. “Unless there’s a deep profound respect for human life at all levels, people will see a gradual disintegration of respect for human life at all.”

Why is the lamestream media ignoring the trial of Kermit the Babykiller

On March 20th, Walt told you -- for the second time -- about the horrors perpetrated in the abortuary of Doctor Kermit Gosnell, the black American abortionist now on trial for murdering babies born alive and viable. He (or staff "operating" under his direction) did it by cutting through the children's spinal columns just below their heads. End of life.

More shocking details of Gosnell's “House of Horrors” were presented to a Philadelphia jury this week.  murder trial of doctor Kermit Gosnell heard from one of his assistants, who said on five occasions she saw babies moving and breathing following abortions. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Ashley Baldwin, who began working at the clinic when she was just 15, said in one case she heard a baby “screeching” after the "procedure".

Gosnell's trial for the murder of one female patient and seven babies has been reported on AP and in the local (Philadelphia/New York/New Jersey) papers, but is not getting much play nation-wide, even though it has all the elements of front-page news: murder, abortion, racism, exploited women, not to mention government failures (or wilful ignorance). It should be front page news! But it isn't...

"Why isn't [this trial] being covered more?" is the thought-provoking question asked by Conor Friedersdorf, writing in The Atlantic said, “The news value is undeniable," he says. "To sum up, this story has numerous elements any one of which would normally make it a major story. And setting aside conventions, which are flawed, this ought to be a big story on the merits."

Mr. Friedersdorf tells us his question occurred to him as he read a USA Today column by Kirsten Powers, who wrote, "This should be front page news. When Rush Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke [for advocating insurance coverage of contraceptives], there was non-stop media hysteria. Yet, accusations of babies having their heads severed — a major human rights story if there ever was one — doesn’t make the cut. The deafening silence of too much of the media, once a force for justice in America, is a disgrace." [My emphasis. Walt]

And so it is. But what is behind this studied silence? It's the same aggressive secularism and political correctness that keeps us from even discussing the evils and perversions of our post-Christian society. Nothing is "wrong" any more, because we -- or at least our "progressive thinkers" and opinion-makers -- have lost the ability to distinguish between wrong and right.

If whatever you are or whatever you're doing seems right to you, then who are we to criticize? That's their argument. It's the moral -- "immoral" would be a better word -- equivalent of religious relativism. There is no "right way" and therefore no "wrong way" to think or act, unless of course you're old-fashioned enough to believe in the Ten Commandments or some other moral code written hundreds of years ago.

Unfortunately, if  you believe in such moral precepts as "Thou shalt not kill" -- that's the entire commandment, by the way, no qualifications -- you are  now an "extremist".  That's the politically correct view of your righteous notions. As Walt told you earlier this week, that's the view espoused by Obama's government and its armed forces. And, of course, the liberal-controlled lamestream media.  

How to kill unwanted babies (and make loadsa dough)

Just delivered an unwanted baby? Kill her! Or "him"! Or "it"! Here's how... Very simple actually. Get a pair of heavy-duty scissors and snip the spine. No more baby. Just a pile of flesh and bones to be thrown out in the garbage.

That's what was done -- not just once, but many times -- at the "Women's Medical Center", a Philadelphia "clinic" run by Doctor Kermit Gosnell. So says Adrienne Morton, who used to work for the good doctor -- for $10 per hour, cash under the table -- administering drugs, helping with abortions and disposing of the remains.

Ms Morton is testifying at the trial of Dr. Gosnell for killing babies born alive -- "viable" is the term clinicians use -- following late-term abortions. So let's not split hairs about whether the beings whose spines were split were or were not "babies". Of course they were babies -- living human babies. Sometimes Ms Morton killed them. Sometimes another employee did it. And sometimes the abortionist himself took their little lives.

Of course, his lawyer says, Dr. Gosnell did it with the best of motives -- only to help the vizmin women, including refugees, who turned to him in desperation. The race card was also played in the defence's opening statement on Monday. According to his attorney, Dr. Gosnell returned to the impoverished neighbourhood after medical school, when he could have struck it rich in the suburbs. He called the prosecution of his client, who happens to be black, "a lynching".

Not that Dr. Gosnell suffered poverty himself. When authorities searched his home in 2010, they found a quarter of a million dollars in cash! But that money wasn't entirely the proceeds of baby-killing. Some of it came from running a "pill mill," where addicts and drug dealers could get prescriptions for potent painkillers.

Walt bets that the good doctor wishes he'd set up shop a bit further north. Why, in Canada, he'd have been given a medal -- the Order of Canada -- just like Dr. Henry Morgentaler. Mind you, Morgentaler wasn't black, so perhaps racism really is behind the prosecution of Dr. Gosnell.

Footnote: Unlike Kermit Gosnell, Adrienne Morton admitted that what she did was wrong. She pled guilty to murder in the fall of 2011.

Walt's call

Walt doesn't want to be accused of wimping out by failing to predict the winner of today's presidential election. At the same time, I don't want to put my near-perfect lifetime average (.990) on the line without careful thought, due consideration, and all that. And I don't want to bet from the heart either. Betting on emotion is for losers.

I have duly consulted with Vince the barber. He's giving 4-5 on Obama. At least I think that's what "quattro cinco" means. The donut shop "hole poll" has Romney ahead -- donuts with red sprinkles outselling those with blue by about, errr, 5 to 4. However, over at Starbucks, the chattering crowd has the Prez as the prohibitive favourite. "Romney is such a savage," I hear them lisping.

Around the stroke of midnight, Walt heard a rumour that a tsunami was going to inundate the southeast corner of Pennsylvania, leaving Philthydelphia underwater and the rest of the state for Romney, but an award-winning sports cameraman in the vicinity tells me otherwise.

Ohio, then... the inevitable Ohio. Will the state that's round at the ends and high in the middle go for the Inevitable Mitt? `Fraid  not.

Obama over Romney, just barely... and (allowing for challenges in Florida) only when the votes are actually cast in the electoral college. The popular vote, however, will be for Romney, just barely. Two predictions for the price of one. Walt would be happy to be wrong about the first one.
