VIDEO: Fact-checking the media's "Trump calls for 'bloodbath'" hysteria

"WTF?!?", said I to myself, said I, when I heard something like the stories (word chosen carefully) on the early AM news.

I didn't listen to President Donald Trump's speech last night, but couldn't believe he would be so careless in his choice of words as to predict, let alone call for, anything like an insurrection or revolution or a "bloodbath".

For years now, as the divisions in the American society get more and more pronounced, pundits and SJWs and others with political and social engineering agendas have talked about cultural wars, political wars, and even "civil war", but almost no-one believes there could be an actual shooting war, let alone a "bloodbath".

It turns out that, at the Buckeye Values PAC rally, the once-and-future POTUS was talking about the financial "bloodbath" that awaits the U.S. motor industry if he is not elected, so that China would be enabled to swamp the country with their tinker-toy EVs and other cheap products.

Here's what the once-and-future POTUS actually said:

For the hard-of-hearing [or hard-of-understanding. Ed.], here's a transcript:

"If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now … you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us, no. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected. Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it … It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it...."

The usual critics -- Democrats, RINOs, and the lickspittle media -- jumped on the "bloodbath" word, only, toick to infer scary intentions, even after Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung made clear that Mr Trump had clearly been talking about the impact of offshoring on the country’s auto industry and his own plans to increase tariffs on foreign-made cars.

What lesson do we learn from this, campers? Always listen carefully to what is being said, and give the words...all the words...their plain meaning. Just as judges should do with the Constitution of the US of A. Just read it. Don't "interpret" it! End of lesson.

Mid-terms: Why is it so quiet out there?

I can't figure it out. Here we are just six weeks (give or take) from the mid-term elections, the importance of which to the US of A can't be overemphasized, and one would think nothing special is going on. It's as if the nation is holding its breath.

On September 1st, President Brandon made a speech exhorting his followers (Sid and Doris Bonkers, of Loudon County VA) to do whatever it takes to defeat -- he put it more strongly than that -- "MAGA Republicans", who he called a threat to the United.States.

Picking up on that theme, Rep. Tim Ryan, who the Dumbocrats hope will beat J.D. Vance for the Ohio Senate seat, said the United States needs to "kill and confront" what he says is "extremism in the Republican Party.

While admitting that Democrats "aren’t right on everything," Ryan stated during an interview Tuesday on MSNBC (who else) that he is willing to talk with others on how the USA can move "out of this age of stupidity."

Mr Ryan's comments come less than two weeks after his opponent was very critical of Hunter's dad's speech, claiming the president broke his campaign promise of uniting the country.

A Suffolk University survey conducted with 500 Ohio voters over two days in early September found that if the election were held immediately instead of in November, 46.6% of respondents said they would lean toward or vote for Mr Ryan, while 45.6% said the same for Mr Vance -- a statistical tie.

Last Thursday, in what might be perceived as an effort to increase his tiny lead, Mr Ryan attempted to distance himself from President Brandon, suggesting that the president shouldn't seek re-election in 2024. Many Americans would agree.

The utterances of Messrs Biden and Ryan aren't getting a lot of play in the lickspittle press, who seem to fear that their exhortations to do violence to Republicans can only have the effect of stiffening their resolve to turn turn the Dems out of office wherever possible, in November. Why wait for 2024 to excise the cancer that is killing America?

According to pollsters, an unintended side-effect of the "kill the Republicans" rhetoric has been to make it harder to identify Republican voters.  Call it the "shy Trumper syndrome". Why would anyone admit to a pollster or other nosy parker that they intended to vote GOP, at the risk of being doxxed and having protesters or possibly the FBI show up at your home? Just sayin'...

Another happening that has been under-reported in the mainstream media was the release of My Son Hunter, the feature film which reveals how Hunter Biden, the spoiled son of Sleepy Joe, has used his connections with the Man in the Oval Office to enrich himself and others. [Who? Ed.] The lickspittle media are ignoring -- "Nothing to see here, folks" -- what they and the White House can't deny.

The only story getting any serious play this past week was the bussing [or "busing" -- I can't decide. Ed.] of 1000s of illegal aliens from Texas, Arizona and Florida to "sanctuary cities" such as Chicago, New York, Sacramento, and Washington DC, whose mayor wants the National Guard to turn them away. Oh yeah, that happened in Martha's Vineyard too. I'll come back to this story later today.

Walt congratulates J.D. Vance on OH primary win!

"Fear of illegal immigrants helps J.D. Vance triumph in Ohio's primaries" - Headline in The Economist today. When that's big news in the house organ of the World Economic Forum, you can bet that (((George Soros))) and the boys of Davos are shit-scared of what's going to happen in November. And so they should be. The victory of J.D. Vance is just an early wave in the Red Tide that's going to sweep over the US of A.

For those who haven't been keeping up, J.D. Vance is a venture capitalist, and author of Hillbilly Elegy (Harper Collins, 2016), a book described by Anne-Marie Slaughter as "a kind of post-election manual for understanding Trump voters." (Walt recommends Mr Vance's memoir of his Appalachian childhood most highly.)

Mr Vance won Ohio's super-competitive Republican Senate primary yesterday, buoyed by President Donald Trump’s endorsement in a race that the lickspittle media called an early test of the former president's hold on his party. If that's what it was, the Donald passed the test easily.

Mr Vance spent much of the campaign behind in the polls, but a late-stage endorsement from the former president appeared to make a hyuge difference. The two men downplayed any past tension, with Mr Vance saying he was wrong in his past scathing characterizations of the former president. In accepting the GOP nomination, Mr Vance said "This campaign, I really think, was a referendum on what kind of a Republican Party we want, and what kind of a country we want."

Mr Vance now faces Democrat Tim Ryan in the general election race to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Republican Senator Rob Portman. The 10-term Democratic congressman will have an uphill climb in a state which President Trump won twice by an 8-point margin, in spite of the usual shenanigans in Columbus and Cleveland. For more on how the Dumbocrats manipulate the polls in those cities, see Dr Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loating on the Campaign Trail `72 (Warner Books, 2006).

Tuesday's contest ushered in a more competitive phase of the midterm primary season, with closely watched races in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia scheduled for later this month. The election will culminate in November, when control of Congress, governor's mansions and key elections offices are at stake.

President Trump is using the primaries to build his reputation as a GOP kingmaker, and test his own popularity, as he mulls another presidential run. Addressing supporters in Cincinnati, Mr Vance thanked Mr Trump for his endorsement and attacked the media for highlighting his past criticism of the former president. "They wanted to write a story that this campaign would be the death of Donald Trump's America First agenda," he said, "[but] it ain't the death of the America First agenda."

Indeed. This is only the beginning! Need I say "stay tuned for more"?

Walt's easy-peasy solution to "white police killing of POC"

Random (sorta) thoughts on yesterday's verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the evil racist ex-cop who (the jury found) killed Saint George Floyd, a paragon of his community whose "tragic loss" diminishes all of us... present company excepted. [I hope so. Ed.]

First of all, I don't know how the jury could have found other than it did, given the intense pressure from the lickspittle media and all correct-thinking Americans, up to and including Sleepy Joe hisself. A prudent president might have said "Let the courts do their work." The incumbent said "I hope we get the right verdict, and I'll be calling Mr Floyd's family as soon as Chauvin is found guilty."

And don't tell me the jury was unaware of the demands being made on them by all and sundry, including the likes of Mad Maxine Waters, who stopped just short of calling for rioting and looting if Mr Chauvin wasn't convicted. Isn't that what "taking it to the streets" means, to people of the coloured persuasion? "Reparations shopping", anyone?

What surprised me was the conviction of Mr Chauvin on all three counts. My legal advisor, Agent 3, practised in another jurisdiction, where typically the state makea a practice of "overcharging" -- throwing two or more charges at an accused and hoping that one will stick, or that the accused will plead to the lighter charge rather than take a chance. In the Chauvin case, the defence did offer to pleade to third-degree murder, but the state went ahead with all three.

Was the fix in, already? I don't understand how someone can be guilty of three distinct offences arising out of the same occurrence. I can almost understand the distinction between Murder 2 and Murder 3, but I always thought murder and manslaughter, requiring a finding of the intention of the accused, could not be the same thing. I would expect that to be one of the ground of the upcoming appeal.

The main ground, to my mind, will be that the jury was prejudiced by the intensely anti-cop, pro-BLM coverage of the lickspittle media, as well as a settlement in the civil case brought by George Floyd's family.

Two weeks before testimony in the Chauvin trial began, but while jury selection was in progress, the city of Minneapolis agreed to pay $27 million to settle a civil lawsuit brought by the Floyd family over Saint George's death, making him worth a helluva lot more in death than he ever was or would have been in life. [By rights they ought to give part of the money to Mr Chauvin! Ed.]

Mr Chauvin's attorney said the settlement had an "incredible propensity to taint a jury pool," but Judge Peter Cahill rejected the defence request to delay the trial because of the settlement.

The defence may also argue, on appeal, that Judge Cahill's decision to hold the trial in Minneapolis was wrong, and virtually ensured a conviction. The defence had argued it was impossible to find an impartial jury in the city, which was rocked by "mostly peaceful protests" over Mr Floyd's death. Judge Cahill thought that since the case was already one of the most scrutinized in American history, moving it wouldn't make much of a difference.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more.... Late in the trial, another case of what the lickspittle media called "white police murder of a black p0erson" occurred in a suburb of Minneapolis.  Brooklyn Center MN cops shot and killed Daunte Wright, a motorist stopped (the meeja says) for DWB (Driving While Black).

Mad Maxine Waters (D-CA) flew to Brooklyn Center [on her broom? Ed.] over the weekend -- the weekend before jury deliberations were to start! -- and urged protesters "to get more confrontational" if Derek Chauvin was found not guilty. On Monday, Judge Cahill called her comments "abhorrent", but denied a defence request for a mistrial. "I'll give you that Congresswoman Waters may have given you something on appeal that may result on this whole trial being overturned." Let us hope so!

Meanwhile, in Columbis OH, just as the Chauvin verdict was being announced, police held a presser at which they released bodycam footage of a white cop shooting a black girl who, it appeaered, was trying to stab two people with a knife. A black-handled blade resembling a kitchen knife or steak knife was in clear view lying on the sidewalk next to her immediately after she was shot. She was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

While we wait for the next act in the evil white cops vs saintly BIPOCs drama, Walt has a suggestion which might accomplish... peacefully... the "complete change in politicing in America" called for by Michael Moore [Who he? Ed.] and other leftist paragons of virtue. The idea sprang into my mind when Mrs Walt asked how many white people had been killed by black cops -- a question for which I have no answer.

My idea is this. Since all the trouble seems to arise in interracial "interactions" -- everything in the Excited States of America comes down to race -- why not establish separate (but equal!) police forces for separate (but absolutely equal!) races?

According to my brilliant plan, a caller to 9-1-1 would be asked if the persons involved are Persons of Colour (POCs). If the answer is yes, POCs (Policepersons of Colour) would be despatched. That way, any tragic deaths which might ensue could not be put down to racism.

But wait... there's a bonus. My plan would require the hiring of many ore POCs (Policepersons of Colour), thus putting paid to complaints that POCs (People of Colour) are under-represented in America's police forces. Black cops for black communities! It's an inspired idea, the real beauty party being that the Al Sharptons and AOCs of this world can't argue against it without admitting that People of Colour are incapable of policing themselves!

Footnote: You think the idea of segregated communities policing themselves is crazy or racist or both? Well, they already do that in parts of Canada, where First Nations (Americans read: Native Indian) reserves (Americans read: reservations) are policed by First Nations police. You could look it up.

Michael Moore explains why Donald Trump won

UPDATE: On October 30th we posted the item below, an audio excerpt (no video) from Trumpland, a one-man stage show created by Michael Moore as... get this... an endorsement for Hillary Clinton. But listen to what the arch-liberal Moore is really saying! Taking him at his own words, the average American has every reason to vote for Donald Trump!

"Trump's election is going to be the biggest 'fuck you!' ever recorded in human history, and it will feel good!"

Turns out Mr Moore had it exactly right... exactly right. To those who went to the polls on November 8th to vote for an end to illegal immigration, enforced multiculturalism, unrestricted abortion, economic stagnation, open markets and open borders, etc etc and so forth, Walt addresses his heartiest congratulations!

Walt's call

Walt doesn't want to be accused of wimping out by failing to predict the winner of today's presidential election. At the same time, I don't want to put my near-perfect lifetime average (.990) on the line without careful thought, due consideration, and all that. And I don't want to bet from the heart either. Betting on emotion is for losers.

I have duly consulted with Vince the barber. He's giving 4-5 on Obama. At least I think that's what "quattro cinco" means. The donut shop "hole poll" has Romney ahead -- donuts with red sprinkles outselling those with blue by about, errr, 5 to 4. However, over at Starbucks, the chattering crowd has the Prez as the prohibitive favourite. "Romney is such a savage," I hear them lisping.

Around the stroke of midnight, Walt heard a rumour that a tsunami was going to inundate the southeast corner of Pennsylvania, leaving Philthydelphia underwater and the rest of the state for Romney, but an award-winning sports cameraman in the vicinity tells me otherwise.

Ohio, then... the inevitable Ohio. Will the state that's round at the ends and high in the middle go for the Inevitable Mitt? `Fraid  not.

Obama over Romney, just barely... and (allowing for challenges in Florida) only when the votes are actually cast in the electoral college. The popular vote, however, will be for Romney, just barely. Two predictions for the price of one. Walt would be happy to be wrong about the first one.

Can Romney do it? Walt's state-by-state analysis and predictions

The pressure is building! Walt's acolytes, followers and casual readers are waiting for guidance on how to bet. The barbershop is closed today so it's a good time to sit quietly and do the numbers, state by state.

There are 538 votes to be cast in the Electoral College. The magic number is 270. From his vantage point near Fort Mudge, Walt can see nine states with a total of 110 electoral votes that are "in play" -- too close to call.

Not included in the remaining 41 states (and DC) is Utah. I'm giving that one to Romney because [They already know that! Ed.] ...and Idaho for the same reason. [Get on with it!! Ed.]

OK. Also not included are New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. There's been a lot of pissing and moaning in the lamestream media about federal aid not getting through to the victims of Sandy quickly enough. Obama's presidential photo ops amidst the devastation looked fine, they say, but a lot of voters will be disaffected by this demonstration that the Prez doesn't have all that much control over the federal administration, and will get revenge by voting for the Inevitable Mitt. Rubbish. Anyone who thinks there was ever any chance of NY, NJ and CT going Republican is seriously deluded.

Which brings us to Pennsylvania and Michigan, the bottom of the rust bucket. Gentle reader, please don't be misled by the lamestream media hype. Those states aren't in doubt. Obama will sweet Philthydelphia and the rest of PA doesn't matter. 20 electoral votes for Obama.

As for MI, the name "Romney" is remembered there, and not fondly. When they think "Romney" Michiganders [and Michigeese. Ed.] think cars. When they think cars they think American Motors, and, more recently, the younger Romney's statements about letting the US auto industry die, if that were the will of the free market. Obama's got him on that one. Another 16 votes for Hussein.

So, with nine states left to call, Walt's abacus shows totals of 237 for the incumbent and only 191 for the wannabe. Romney has to find 79 electoral votes somewhere to win, Obama only 33.

Look south, folks. And keep in mind that race is still a deciding factor. Frankly, Walt was surprised, in 2008, when American voters handed the keys to the car to a black (or half-black) man. Well, OK, the point was made and America is now a "post-racist" society, right?

Wrong! A study by researchers at Stanford University and the Universities of Chicago and Michigan, released last week by AP, shows that although "racist" views are quieter today, they're still echoing in the minds of voters.

"Anti-black sentiment seems to have increased slightly in America over the course of Mr. Obama's term," the report says, "and this sentiment may be shaping evaluations of (his) presidency as well as the likelihood that individuals will vote for him in 2012."

Leaving aside Dade County, Florida is still pretty much a southern state, in its attitudes, and North Carolina decidedly so. Walt predicts they'll both go Republican, although FL may be very close, once again. 44 electoral votes for Mitt.

I will now contradict myself by awarding Iowa (6 votes) and New Hampshire (4) to Obama. I'd have thought the Iowans, in particular, would know which end of the straw to stick in their mouths, but polls in one of the whitest of all states show the Prez with a pretty solid lead. NH seems to be affected by its proximity to Massachusetts, where Romney is oddly unloved in spite of a government-mandated health plan that looked not unlike Obamacare.

On to Wisconsin, with its substantial Catholic population. Can a native son carry his state for the Republicans? Walt thinks so, but not because Paul Ryan is as close as you can get to being a real practising Catholic. Rather, it's because Ryan and Romney are not Muslim.

A recent Pew poll found that less than half of voters surveyed believe that Obama is Christian, and 17% believe he's actually a Muslim. The poll also showed that the number of Republicans who believe Obama is Muslim has doubled to 30% since the last election. His bitterest foes keep calling him "Hussein", because that is his (middle) name.

The underlying meaning is that Obama is an outsider, a foreigner in his attitudes and outlook, if not by birth. He is seen in much of the USA as basically un-American, even anti-American. That's why his tepid, even grovelling response to the Benghazi terrorist attack won't go away. 10 more votes in the Republican column.

If you're keeping score, it's now 247 to 245, favour Obama, with just four states -- Colorado, Nevada, Virginia and Ohio -- left.

You'd think Nevada would be a lock for Romney, what with its substantial Mormon population and wild west, free enterprise character. But you'd be ignoring Las Vegas and its large number of Latino voters, who don't much like the Republican stance on immigration and related issues. Latest polls put NV in the Democrat column, and who am I to argue. 6 for Obama.

Giving Colorado (9 votes) also to Obama -- just because -- raises the Democrat total to 262. So it all comes down to Virginia (13 votes) and Ohio (18). Walt thinks VA is likely to go Republican, since it, too, is at heart a southern state. But Romney still has to win Ohio before he can start measuring the drapes in the Oval Office.

It has been pointed out dozens of times within the last 24 hours alone that no Republican has ever been elected president without winning Ohio. Which is not to say that no Republican has ever been elected president. Walt says... ... ... ... still too early to make the call.

School bus! No farting allowed!

Walt never road the bus to school. I walked. Seven miles each way. In snow up to my waist...and I was shorter then! [Get on with it. Ed.] But I am told that those who rode the yellow school buses found it hilarious when one of their number belched or passed gas.

However, school authorities in Ohio felt two students from Canal Winchester middle school took the smelly shenanigans too far, temporarily revoking the kids' bus privileges for farting during a ride.

Seems the two boys had been warned by the bus driver previously, after “a similar display of synchronized farting”. Due to the laughter, jeering and overall ruckus that ensued from their latest fit of flatulence, the bus driver reported the incident to their principal, who handed the boys a one-day bus suspension.

James Nichols, father of one of the students, told The Columbus Dispatch he was stunned that the principal found his 13-year-old son’s behaviour obscene.

“He suggested my son should hold his gas on this hour-long bus ride, if in fact he has gas,” Mr. Nichols told the newspaper. But, added dad, “when it happens, it just happens. It’s not intentional.”

Mr. Nichols’ wife said that, while she admits her son is no angel, she was particularly upset, due to her own digestive health problems. The Dispatch quotes her as saying, “As a sufferer of gastrointestinal issues who was recently hospitalized for these issues, I take great offence to passing gas being cause for being cause for suspension and marked as an obscene gesture.”
