Are we really to believe that black (or Black, if you like) people are "disabled"? Really? That's what SCOTUS Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson says in her argument for redistricting (read: gerrymandering) that will creatge more black majority districts, so there'll be more POCs in Congress, yada yada yada, Black Power, yada yada yada. Is she serious?
On today’s episode of "Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words", Victor and Jack discuss how a recent Supreme Court oral argument reminds us just how “out of her depth” Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson truly is.
But that's not all. If you're still making up your mind about watching, you really should, if only to hear about the true "brilliance" behind Sen. John Fetterman’s PR strategy. But wait (as Vice Offer used to say), there's more. You'll also hear why the Left now trying to "cancel" Taylor Swift, because she wants to have a baby. What's wrong with that? Mr Hanson explains.
The key point of today's discussion, IMHO, comes almost at the end, around the 65 minure mark. Mr Hanson argues that the sick society we live in now is a classic example of "civilizational regression". Keep that phrase in mind. The question before us is: can civilizational regression be stopped? The likely answer is cringe-worthy.
Hey, how about that Super Bowl LIX! If you're a KC fan, or a KC bettor (even worse), you didn't have a lot to cheer about, as the Chiefs failed to cover the spread. As defending champions, sportsbooks had the Chiefs as 1.5-point favourites before the game. The game was expected to be high-scoring, with an over-under of 48.5. And so it was, but unsophisticated people [like Walt. Ed.] who just look at the raw scores, thought it was a pretty unexciting contest.
Of course nowadays there's a lot more to bet on than the scores.but there were plenty of bets that were very close. The national anthem, for example, was right at the line for the time but was officially scored just under the 120.5-second line. From the coin toss to how many times Taylor Swift was on camera to the Gatorade bath and the MVP, the New York Times has the results of all the major Super Bowl prop bets in a "party props sheet". [You didn't think it would be free, didja|? Ed.]
And how about that half-time show? Walt switched to a rerun of I Love Lucy on a cable channel, but according to the lengthy and fulsome NYT review, it came down to another round in the fight the star attraction, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake, the alleged Canadian, who was somewhere else.
Mr Lamar (né Kendrick Lamar Duckworth) made his Drake diss ÈNot Like Us" the centerpiece of his set. He wore denim-on-denim, often called a "Canadian tuxedo", a potential dig at Drake, who was actually born ion the Great No-longer-white North. While performing recently in Australia, Drake told fans, in a possible allusion to the fallout from his feud with Lamar, that he is still "very much alive." Just not in the USA or Canada, though.
Some display of "American culture", eh. I might have written "Black culture", but in truth present-day American culture is Black culture. In its review, the NYT reminds us that Kendrick Lamar is a Pulitzer Prize winner. That there tells you all you need to know.
Agent 78, whose native tongue is not English, said, "Am I supposed to talk like that? I have no idea what he was saying." Agent 3, who is a dual citizen residing in Canuckistan, wrote, "If this is what Canada will be like if it becomes the 51st state, fuggedaboutit!"
At least one person who was part of the halftime show had a different idea of how to use the performance to advance an agenda. Toward the end of the set, he pulled out a banner combining the flags of Palestine and Sudan that featured a heart and a fist. Was this part of the performance, another level of commentary woven into a show already packed with it? Thanks to the Times of India, we have video.
In footage captured from inside the stadium but not broadcast, that individual was chased off the main stage just a few seconds after whipping out the flag. He ran around the field for a spell before he was tackled by a coterie of security guards in suits and carried off the field. That revolution, at least, would not be televised.
Another aspect of American culture was on display after the game, as 1000s of Eagles fans spilled out of bars and onto the streets of Philthydelphia after watching their team humble the Kansas City Chiefs. [Isn't "Chiefs" kind of racist, like "Redskins"? Ed.]
The city had opted not to grease the light poles even though a fan died two weeks ago after falling from a light pole after the NFC Championship Game. Despite that tragedy, Eagles fans showed no hesitation in climbing to the top of light poles, cars, construction vehicles, garbage trucks, small buildings, and almost anything else they could find.
Some fans clashed with and taunted police as officers attempted to keep the crowd confined to certain areas and under control. Dozens of fireworks were set off in the streets. However, it seems as though most Eagles fans wanted to climb things. Pole greasing and pleas to "PLEASE not climb them" didn't work.
However, the joyful demonstrations were mostly peaceful, with not a lot of "reparations shopping", possibly because many businesses in the City of Bruvverly Love have been closed permanently because of... you know... something white people did.

I founded Remnant TV as part of our larger effort to reach the many millions of Catholics who’d begun to feel disenfranchised by the post-Conciliar Church. Along with one of my nephews and my then-teenaged son, Walter, I established The Remnant’s YouTube channel, which today can boast some 270,000 subscribers, nine hundred videos, and 37,000,000 views.
All was well until the Great Censorship Campaign of 2020 when the Gods of Big Tech – bowing to the demands of their Globalist overlords – elected to cancel free speech in the name of the “health and safety guidelines” established by the World Health Organization.
Not surprisingly, Remnant TV’s YouTube channel was summarily demonetized, and it became clear to those who’d remained awake – not woke – that independent thinking was to become a casualty of Cancel Culture.
And nowhere was this made more evident than on YouTube, where doctors, journalists, critical thinkers of all stripes were silenced by the masked-up champions of a warp-speed “vaccine” and a global lockdown.
Initially, Remnant TV’s YouTube channel survived, after a fashion, but we could feel the noose tightening. Our time to go came in August of 2020 when one of my videos went viral.
It was called, “THE GREAT RESET: Davos & the Plot to Cancel Trump,” it reached millions of viewers, and set up our channel for the purge.
Soon thereafter, YouTube deleted my second viral video, “CORONAVIRUS: Globalism’s Perfect Storm” and although we were allowed back after one week, it was clear that the algorithms were now very much stacked against my channel. We were being shadow banned on a weekly basis, and many of our 270,000 subscribers were being kept in the dark when it came to RTV’s regular postings.
With the handwriting scrawled all over the wall, I determined to create a completely independent video platform, which included renting our own Content Delivery Networks (CDN) here at home and also in Europe. This is not cheap, but it’s absolutely essential if we’re to remain out of the control of Big Tech. The success of our privately-funded video platform – Remnant-TV.com – hinged on total independence from Amazon servers, something most alternative platforms use (including Rumble, by the way).
Believe it or not, I faced one surprising challenge: Since Big Tech offers a wide variety of the best bells, whistles, and options in the business, many good people were not eager to leave the mainstream platforms. It became necessary for me to convince my followers to support something not many content creators had even attempted – a completely independent and privately-funded platform.
And today – three years later and with your support – I am happy to confirm that it worked. Remnant TV can boast ten million views with a functionality and user-friendly application unsurpassed by any other privately funded video player. And for that I thank God and I thank you for making Remnant TV a success.
So today – with the 2024 election year upon us and another Big Tech crackdown looming – I want to ask your help to push this project over the last hurtle. What I need more than anything else is help getting the word out to patriots and traditional Catholics everywhere that Remnant TV is now in a position to provide totally uncensored truth and analysis on its own platform.
