VIDEO: "Entryism?" What it is and why the French call it criminal

"Entryism" is a strategy involving the deliberate infiltration of institutions to reshape them from within. We see it all the time as Islamists, Sikhs and other anti-Christian, anti-Western types get themselves elected to our local councils, state/provincial and federal legislatures, and, most dangerously, our school boards. This is how the invaders are taking over our countries.

The French cheese-eating surrender monkeys (who do have a commendable xenophobic streak) have had enough! A recent report identified numerous mosques and community organizations linked to this takeover strategy, the French National Assembly to pass legislation that penalizes efforts to subvert republican institutions. 

As Dr Steve Turley explains in this video, this move represents a historic confrontation with Islamist influence in France, marking a pivotal shift in the country's approach to national security and cultural.integrity.

Can we expect to see similar counter-invasion legislation in the AABC countries? Walt wouldn't bet on anything of the kind being proposed in Not-so-great Britain or Canuckistan, which seem to have given up, but there is hope for Australia, and, as Dr Steve explains, much hope for the United States of America. Let us pray....

A slogan for the coming elections

If you're white (like Walt!) and have children and grandchildren (like Walt!), you're probably worried (or should be!) about what the future holds for your progeny... and offspring too. 

Pierre-Nicolas Nups of le Parti de lad France (the Party of France), a rightist grouping allied with Marine Le Pen in Sunday's election, has unveiled a poster which you may want to adapt for use in the November election for the presidensity, and the next election in Canuckistan. (It's got to happen sometime.) How do you like this?

For those4 unfamiliar with the language of Molière, the text reads "Let's give a future to white children". 

The pinko mayor of Neuves-Maisons, where M Nups is running, calls the poster... wait for it... "racist" and has threatened M Nups with persecution prosecution. To which the candidate replied, "I approved this poster. It is neither sectarian nor exclusive. On the contrary, it delivers a positive message, a message of hope for our youth, and nothing else. And if anyone sees anything else in it, it would be a malicious interpretation."*

French presidential election: hold your applause

Ed. here. I was a little late getting in this morning, and failed to prevent Walt from committing the grave sin of combining two topics into one post. The Michael Matt video about Viktor Orbán and the "Current Thing" should have been separated from the preceding thoughts on yesterday's French election. For readers who went right to the video without reading what came before, here's what Walt had to say about the results... and what he thinks will happen on April 24th.

Frenchmen and women voted yesterday in the first round of the election for the preisdency of the French Republic. Walt rejoiced (see previous post) when Marine Le Pen fnished a strong second to "Effete Emmanuel" Macron, whom she will now face in the runoff election on April 24th. 

However, I must warn you, dear readers, to be careful how you bet. A superficial analysis of yesterday's result suggests that Mme Le Pen would have finished first, but for the candidacy of the extremist Eric Zemmour, who got a little over 7% of the vote. 

You would think his supporters would go to Mme Le Pen in the runoff. That would be fine, except that it would give Mme Le Pen about 31% of the vote, which would be far from enough to win a straight two-way fight. 

The likelihood of large numbers of centrists, leftists and Communists moving into the National Rally camp is slim. More likely is an ABLP coalition which would push M Macron into the Élysée Palace for a second term -- just as it did in 2015. Walt will be hoping (and praying!) otherwise, but betting? Nooooo....

VIDEO: Michael Matt rails against "the Current Thing"

Before we get into the latest episode of The Remnant Underground, a word about yesterday's French election. Frenchmen and women [and "others"? Ed.] voted in the first round of the election for the presidency of the French Republic. Walt rejoiced (see previous post) when Marine Le Pen fnished a strong second to "Effete Emmanuel" Macron, whom she will now face in the runoff election on April 24th.

Now then, about the video. Michael Matt, editor of the Remnant newspaper, doesn't talk about the French election, because it was unfolding as he was recording this episode. He does, however,  discuss the victory of Viktor Orbán, who last week, against all odds (and opposition from the entire Soros machine), won a fourth term as Prime Minister of Hungary.

"Did you hear about that (Mr Matt asks)? No? Maybe that’s because they don’t want us to know about that. If we think of Orbán at all, the media will help us to think of him not as a family man and father of five beautiful children, but rather as a goose-stepping Nazi who’s coming to take us away, oh my! So, what’s Orbán all about, and what does his stunning victory portend?"

Mr Matt analyses "the Current Thing" as defined by G.K. Chesterton a hundred years ago. "What is the Current Thing (Mr Matt asks) and how is it being used – from Covid to Ukraine – to create 'right thinking' throughout the world and to punish anyone who questions the current narrative." He uses the media misinformation about Viktor Orbán to make his case that we're being lied to about a lot of things going on in the world today, including and especially the war in Ukraine. He says it's time to wake up!

Aux Français! Votez aujoud'hui pour la France!

Polls have been open for over six  hours now for the first round of the French presidential election. President Emmanuel Macron, a member of the champagne liberal elite if ever there was one, is facing a strong challenge from National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, running a close second in the latest polls. Jean-Luc Melenchon, tribune of the loony left, is a distant third.

Difficult as this may be for Americans to understand, France operates a manual system for elections. Voters are required to present themselves in person, with photo ID. They place their ballots in envelopes which are then sealed and deposited in plexiglass ballot boxes. Once the polls close, votes will be counted by hand. What a concept!

With populist Viktor Orban winning a fourth consecutive term as Hungary's prime minister days ago, the eyes of the world -- or of Europe, at least -- have now turned to France's resurgent right, especially Mme Le Pen, who wants to ban Muslim headscarves in streets and halal and kosher butchers, and drastically reduce immigration from outside Europe. 

The French election has the potential to reshape the country's tarnished identity and indicate whether European populism is ascendant or in decline. Stay tuned. And if you're a French citizen, get out and vote for France!

UPDATE ADDED at 1320. Summary of BBC reports shows...

* Firm projections suggest Emmanuel Macron will face a run-off against Marine Le Pen in the second round of France's presidential election, to be held on April 24th. 

* M Macron comes first with 28.4% of the vote while Mme Le Pen receives 23.4%, according to national broadcaster France Télévision.

* Left-wing leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon comes in third place with about 20% of the votes.

* M Macron is addressing supporters in Paris. Mme Le Pen earlier vowed to put France "in order".

Multicult fails, France heading for civil war, sez former intelligence chief

"All my accumulated experiences make me foresee a dark, and even very dark, future for our children and grandchildren." That's what Pierre Brochand, the former director of DGSE, France’s top intelligence agency, told Le Figaro in an interview published on March 24th.

The interview is in French (of course) and is behind a paywall, so we're quoting from a translation posted on Remix News, a trustworthy site for European news. Their summary is headed: France's former intelligence chief warns against possible civil war due to mass immigration.

The stone truth which the people of western Europe and North America recognized -- but which their woke liberal leaders won't acknowledge -- is that the mass immigration of unassimilable racial and religious minorities is destroying our societies and our countries. As M Brochand puts it,  "All 'multicultural' societies are doomed to more or less deep rifts. In such a situation, it happens that minorities are violent winners, and majorities placid losers."

According to the former DGSE head, there is so much talk about immigration in France today because it is "increasingly difficult to prevent the French from seeing what they see" -- scenes of urban guerrilla warfare, fights between police officers trying to enforce the law and violent multi-recidivist criminals that were the initial cause of riots, shootings, and arson, as well as ambushes set up against the police squads called in as reinforcements.

M Brochand goes on to say that "a breakthrough personality has suddenly appeared in the formulaic world of politics that has encouraged them to open their eyes." He is referring to Éric Zemmour, who has succeeded in placing immigration at the heart of the current campaign for the presidency of the French Republic. Polls show an overwhelming majority opposed to immigration.

Although M Zemmour has succeeded in fixing voters' focus on the immigration issue, the more moderate Marine Le Pen, leader of the Front National, looks like the choice of conservative voters in the election to be held later this month. An Ipsos Sopra Steria Cevipof poll for Le Monde showed the small-but-perfectly-formed incumbent, Emmanuel Macron, would lead in the first round of votes on April 10th, with 26.5% versus 21.5% for Mme Le Pen. In the April 24th run-off, the pollsters say M Macron would beat Mme Le Pen by 54% to 46%. QED.

The Remix News article notes that Éric Zemmour is drawing the biggest crowds to his election rallies, and breaking audience records during his television appearances? Ironically, it may be M Zemmou's "unacceptable views" which make Mme Le Pen look like a moderate by contrast, although they both advocate the same solution for which M Brochand argues. "If we really want to regain control over our demography, we have no other choice than to make a 180-degree turnaround, that is to say, to send the message, loud and clear, that France will no longer be, for the foreseeable future, a welcoming country. This implies a global approach to the problem and unabated resolve in its implementation."

M Brochand goes so far as to warn that if Emmanuel Macron is re-elected and France does not radically change its policy, a civil war is on the horizon. "I hold the type of immigration, which we have been experiencing for half a century, to be an event 'out of category', without precedent in our history. And, quite honestly, I confess that I do not understand how free and enlightened minds can still underestimate its seriousness."

In order to see the seriousness of it, he explains, "one just needs to enumerate coldly its characteristics" and look at "the impact of what is happening to us." He points to the massive immigration flows, the type of immigration, with mostly migrant settlers, the "absence of political and economic regulation," the fact immigrants are mostly Muslims from outside Europe, their "spirit of post-colonial revenge," their "reluctance to mix" with the French, their "preference for endogamy," their "crystallization in diasporas," their fertility rate (higher than that of the French), and above all their "non-convergent evolution over generations," i.e. the fact that younger generations born of immigrants are "even less integrated with French society than their parents." 

For the former head of French intelligence, "this gradual upheaval of the French population, if not the only challenge we face, is the only one that directly threatens civil peace on our territory."

Le Figaro asked M Brochand if it's already too late to avert the destruction of French society. He answered, "It is very late. Let us face it: We are no longer dealing with dispersed individuals, that is to say, so many 'special cases', but with diasporas -- entities formed by immigrants and their descendants...who are grouped together and whose numbers reach a critical mass sufficient for social pressure to encourage the perpetuation of the beliefs and ways of life of the countries of origin, with which relations remain tense. This way, more or less closed foreign enclaves are spontaneously formed that turn their backs on the host country and its customs."

Sadly, M Brochand is very pessimistic about his country's future: "While I refuse to give up hope, I do not have too much illusion either about the possibility of the authorities regaining control over immigration flows. When we see that the program of the incumbent president, who is running for his re-election, continues to superbly ignore the subject, one cannot but reflect on how much history can be inescapable and irreversible, even when it leads us straight to the greatest misfortunes. 

"All my accumulated experiences make me foresee a dark, and even very dark, future for our children and grandchildren. At best, they are heading toward an unsuspected collapse of their quality of life (an implosion); at worst, we are leading them to terrible confrontations (an explosion)...." 

French politics: Is Marine Le Pen going to get "out-niggered"?

In my usual coherent fashion, I will begin this update on prospects for the French presidential election, coming next May, with a story about the 45th governor of the great state of Alabama, George Corley Wallace, Jr. 

Mr Wallace served as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives and later as judge in the Third Judicial Circuit Court, hence  his nickname "the Little Judge". He was known as a moderate on racial issues, and was associated with the progressive, liberal faction of Alabama politics.

During his first campaign for the governorship in 1958, Mr Wallace spoke out against the Ku Klux Klan, and although he endorsed segregation his centrist views won him the support of the NAACP. In contrast, his opponent John Patterson accepted the endorsement of the Ku Klux Klan and made racial issues a major part of his campaign.

Mr Patterson won the race for governor by a large margin. After this defeat, the Little Judge determined that in order to be elected governor he would have to change his position on racial issues, and told one of his campaign officials, "I was out-niggered by John Patterson. And I'll tell you here and now, I will never be out-niggered again." And he wasn't!

What (I hear you ask) does this have to do with French politics? Just this. Until recently, Walt's favourite Frenchperson, Marine Le Pen, leader of the conservative/populist Rassemblement National (National Rally), looked a good bet to defeat the incumbent President Macron, if not in the first round, then in the second, which includes only the two candidates who got the most votes in the earlier round. See "Referendum on immigration? What a novel idea!", WWW 10/10/21. 

But suddenly another contender has emeerged, from even deeper in right field. Behold Éric Zemmour, described by the controlled media as "a Donald Trump-like TV pundit". M Zemmour has not officially announced his candidacy, but has been organizing Trump-style rallies, and is expected to throw his chapeau into the ring very soon.

Éric Zemmour is considered even more right-wing than Mme Le Pen, who has noticebly softened some of the RN rhetoric, in an attempt to appeal to more moderate voters. M Zemmour, on the other hand, does not shy from calling a spade a spade. 

According to the Financial Times, he has been convicted twice of "racial or religious provocation", and has just published a book on the sujbect of national identity, La France n'a pas dit son dernier mot, which has sold 100,000 copies in the first week.

According to respected journalist Yves Mamou, M Zemmour represents the France of yesteryear: the France of Napoleon, Notre Dame de Paris and General Charles de Gaulle, a France that does not want to become an Islamic Republic. He often says "the danger for France is to become a second Lebanon," by which he means a country fragmented between sectarian communities that hate and fear one another.

M Zemmour (still quoting M Mamou) is the man who broke through the glass ceiling to insert into the media discussion topics such as "immigration" and "jihad" -- which no one had ever dared to talk about publicly. He is a man who embodies the fear of seeing traditional France -- the one of church steeples and the "baguette" -- disappear under the blows of jihad and political correctness.

The meteoric rise of Zemmour has had a second effect: he has broken a degrading electoral trap in which the French people are stuck: dividing the right to prevent them from returning to power. From the middle of the eighties until now, the media and the left, together, manufactured an industrial-strength shame-machine to stigmatize as "racist" and "Nazi" anyone who dared to raise his voice on issues of immigration.

M Mamou concludes: The Zemmour fight is just beginning. One thing, however, is certain: Zemmour is restoring an authentic democratic debate about topics -- security, immigration, Islam -- that really matter to the French. 

He's right about that, but I'm not so sure about his assertion that M Zemmour has broken the electoral trap, the splitting of the conservative/rightist vote. According to Politico's Poll  of Polls, President Macron is currently polling around 24%, with Mme Le Pen at 16% and M Zemmour at 15%. That sure looks like a split to me!

If only one candidate presented a real alternative to M Macron and his centre-left, one-world policies, he could be defeated. If that candidate were to be M Zemmour, there is the added problem that he's on his own. Without a primary system such as obtains in the US of A, he cannot take the leadership of the RN away from Mme Le Pen. He would be a "party of one".

If M Zemmour runs as an independent, all he can do is "out-nigger" Mme Le Pen, to the detriment of both of them and another seven years in opposition for those who represent the France of de Gaulle. Tant pis pour eux. Tant pis pour la France!

Referendum on immigration? What a novel idea!

How would you vote, dear reader, if you were allowed by your country's political elites to vote in a referendum on how many immigrants (if any) your country should "welcome"? Would you vote for Biden-style open borders? Or would you say "None is too many!"? 

But you won't get to express your opinion at the ballot box, will you? Not in the AABC countries -- America, Australia, Britain and Canada -- whose leaders pay lip service to "the will of the people", but don't want to know about it, when it conflicts with their plans for the New World Order.

If you live in France, however, you may be able to have your say next year.  Marine Le Pen, leader of the Rassemblement National (National Rally), has promised that if she is elected president in 2022, she will call a referendum proposing drastic limits on immigration.

The question will be, "Do you approve of the Citizenship Identity and Immigration bill that will present a comprehensive immigration control plan?"

Mme Le Pen told the meeja that the referendum would propose a complete draft bill that would drastically regulate immigration. Her plan would impose strict criteria for entering French territory and for acquiring French nationality. As well, French citizens would have priority access to social housing, jobs and social security benefits. "Refugees" and asylum-seekers would go to the back of the line. Imagine that!

In addition, her plan would facilitate more deportations, and require applications for asylum to be made overseas. The last point is something that has been discussed previously by the Danish government in recent months, with the Danish parliament voting for a proposal in June that could see asylum claims processed in asylum reception centres abroad.

Mme Le Pen also vowed to halt family reunification migration also known as "chain migration", which often accounts for a large number of migrants accepted every year in various countries such as Sweden where they outnumber new asylum claims. Her plan also includes the end of birthright citizenship, by which a child born of foreign parents is automatically granted citizenship for being born within the country where the mother happens to be at the time of birth.

In 2017, Mme Le Pen made it to the second round of the presidential election, but was defeated by the  "centrist" Emmanuel Macron. Little Emmanuel has not yet said whether he will stand for re-election, but opinion polls show him and Mme Le Pen as the likely two candidates to make it through to the second round, with M Macaroon seen as the eventual winner. Of course pollsters, being part of the controlled media, have been known to fudge the numbers to paint the liberal candidate as a shoo-in over the "extremist".

It must be said, though, that the situation has become complicated this month by a possible presidential run of right-wing talk-show star Eric Zemmour, who could split the far-right vote and allow a centre-right challenger to face M Macron. While he has yet to formally declare his candidacy, the conservative writer and pundit has seen a surge in popularity, according to a report from Reuters. 

A Harris Interactive poll released this week puts him ahead of Mme Le Pen in the first round of next spring's presidential election, with as high as 18% in one scenario, two points ahead of Mme Le Pen but still nine points behind the incumbent Macron. A projected second-round run-off between would put M Zemmour at 45%, to M Macron's 55%. 

But (here's the good news), a second-round vote between Mme Le Pen and M Macron, would be closer. 53% of respondents said they would vote for M Macron in that case, with 47% preferring Mme Le Pen. In today's politics in a country like France, a 6% lead is nothing. One must also allow for the phenomenon observed in the USA, where many voters were reluctant to tell pollsters their intention to vote for the "extremist".

In her presser, Mme Le Pen said that her proposals were "firm but realistic, therefore politically and legally viable and therefore enforceable." She noted that other presidential candidates and potential candidates had adopted firmer stances on immigration as well. 

"I'm not worried," she said. "I am convinced the French people will place us against Emmanuel Macron because we defend very different models of society. He stands for unregulated globalisation, I defend the nation, which remains the best structure to defend our identity, security, freedom and prosperity."

By the numbers: "In 2021, 134,000 foreigners entered the EU clandestinely, 68% more than in 2020. In the central Mediterranean, which particularly affects Italy, we see an 87% increase in landings since the beginning of the year. Arrivals from Libya and Tunisia have doubled. African "refugee" jailed for setting fire to Nantes cathedral is released, stabs priest to death

Disturbing news today from France. Agence France Presse. reports that a Rwandan "refugee" suspected of causing a major fire that ravaged the Nantes cathedral last year murdered Father Olivier Mairein in the Vendée region yesterday.

On his way to the town of Mortagne-sur-Sevre, the scene of the dastardly attack, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin tweeted, "All my support for the Catholics of our country after the dramatic murder of a priest in the Vendee region." The effect was rather spoiled, though, when he answered the question of why the "refugee" was still in France by saying he couldn't be deported "while he was still under judicial control." 

Say what? The man, identified as Emmanuel Abayisenga, from Rwanda, was already under judicial control over a horrific fire at the historic Nantes cathedral in July 2020, to which he had confessed. Apparently the asylum-seeker (for such he was) had been in living in France for several years -- one of the great wave who came via Angela Merkel's Germany in 2015 -- and had worked as a volunteer at the religious community of Mortagne-sur-Sèvre. 

Inspector Clouseau, of the local police, said M Abayisenga had turned up at the police station, saying he had killed a priest. The victim of a brutal stabbing was Fr Olivier Mairein, aged 60, who had sheltered the "refugee" after he was released from arrest following the cathedral fire. 

Marine Le Pen, leader of le Front National, said that in France "you can be an illegal migrant, set fire to a cathedral, not be expelled and then reoffend by murdering a priest." Nothing like that would ever happen in the AABC countries -- America, Australia, Britain, Canada -- would it? Well... would it?!

VIDEO: French finally starting to take the threat of Islamism seriously

For some weeks now, the country from which WWW draws the largest part of its readereship has been... wait for it... not the USA... not even Canada, but... here it comes... France! This is passing strange considering that we rarely post more than a sentence or two in the language of Molière. Could it be that the French are more attuned to (or care more about) Walt's warnings about the collapse of Christian civilization under the onslaught of Islamization being tolerated, or even perpetrated by our political and spiritual leaders?

Evidence that more and more Frenchmen and women are starting to say "Il a raison!" comes in the form of a Harris Interactive poll taken this week following publication of an open letter signed by a group of retired generals of the French Army, calling on Président Emmanuel Macron to defend patriotism.

The signatories condemned the "délitement" (disintegration) striking the country, and said they were "disposés à soutenir les politiques qui prendront en considération la sauvegarde de la nation" (willing to support policies that will take into consideration the safeguard of the nation). Now there's something you're not going to hear from generals of the AABC countries. Maybe the French generals are braver than ours, after all.

The letter provoked much soiling of shorts and related tut-tutting from the M Macron's government. Prime Minister Jean Castex condemned the letter and those who signed it "with the greatest firmness." But according to the poll, large numbers of French people agreed with the generals.

   

64% of those polled had heard about the letter, and 38% said they understood exactly what the generals were saying. 58% of the 1613 respondents said they supported the publication of the letter, and nearly half felt the army should intervene to guarantee law and order, even without being asked by the government so to do!

93% of those who identified as Républicains and 94% of supporters of Marine Le Pen's Rassemblement National (RN) thought that the laws of France no longer apply in certain places. 84% of polledthose asked agreed with the statement that violence was increasing day by day, (especially in the suburbs of Paris). 73% consider that France is disintegrating. 

According to the generals, France is sliding toward a civil war due to creeping Islamism and the government's failure to control mass migration and creeping Islamism in the country. Two days after publication of the letter, Mme Le Pen invited the signatories to "joindre à notre action pour prendre part à la bataille qui s'ouvre" (join our movement to take part in the battle which is opening).

Not everyone agrees with her. About a third of those polled agreed with her, with disapproval of her position running as high as 86% of the self-declared eco-wienies. But by supporting the military, Mme Le Pen has caused her star to rise even higher. With the next presidential election less than a year off, she has the declared support of 89% of RN sympathisers, and 40% of Républicains.

Meanwhile, the BBC reports that a court in Nanterre (in the western suburbs of Paris, where white Christians are almost an endangered species) has acquitted Mme Le Pen and Gilbert Collard, an RN colleague, of breaking hate speech laws by posting on Twitter three images of ISIS atrocities. The court found that while the pictures were violent they fell into the category of political protest, thus protected by the right to freedom of speech.

Mme Le Pen had called the trial "poltically motivated", and defended her "freedom to inform" with the images, "shocking as they are." The court found that the images had been posted by elected officials who had not tried to trivialise violence or "present violence in a favourable light."

Her lawyer Rodolphe Bosselut called the victory important because "freedom of expression has been recognised as complete for a top-ranking politician." That's in France, of course. Might be worth a try on this side of the Atlantic!

New poll shows Marine Le Pen would trounce leftists in 2022 election

In "Les mots prescients du Général de Gaulle" (WWW 31/3/21), Walt addressed these words to our many French readers: Est-ce que vous avez eu assez de... l'Europe? la globalisation? la diversité? l'inclusivité? la connerie?! If the answer is "Yes!" (I wrote), get up and stand with Marine Le Pen and the Rallye National!

Of course I'm not the only one saying such things. All those (and we are many) urging the people of the AABC countries and western Europe to reject globalization and multiculturalism, and vote for nationalism and the restoration of western civilization, will be happy to know that the people of France (at least) are listening, and preparing to do the right thing in 2022.

French lefties (and they are many) are soiling their pink-hued shorts today after the releast of a poll showing that in a second-round run-off of the 2022 French presidential elections, Marine Le Pen would defeat nearly all of the proposed left-wing candidates.

The poll, conducted by the polling firm Ifop, revealed that the leader of the Rallye National would soundly defeat several left-wing candidates such as far-left Jean-Luc Melenchon who would only score 40% of the vote if facing Mme Le Pen.

Europe1 reports that Environmentalist candidate Yannick Jadot would also lose to Mme Le Pen, while Anne Hidalgo, the left-wing mayor of Paris, was even -- 50-50 -- with the popular populist leader. The strongest candidate against Mme Le Pen would seem to be the centre-right (read: cuckservative) prospective candidate Xavier Bertrand, polled 59% to Mme Le Pen's 41%.

While the poll examined a variety of possible match-ups for the second round, it also revealed Marine Le Pen and incumbent Président Emmanuel Macron are most likely to advance to the second round in 2022, which means they would face each other once again in the run-off. The Ifop poll says that if the run-off were held today, Macron would beat Mme Le Pen, 55% to 45%.

As Walt sees it, French voters have a full year, yet, to recognize the threat to France and to western civilization posed by the continuation of rule by the one-world elites. Let me repeat... "Soulevez-vous! Confiance au Rallye National! Confiance à Marine Le Pen!"

"Allahu akbar!" in France: asylum-seeker kills refugee centre manager

RT.com today reports a sad but unsurprising story from France. OFPRA, the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons, this week refused to give refugee status to a 38-year-old Sudanese asylum-seeker, who had been in France for over five years, since the Great "Refugee" Flood of 2015. The man, who was already known to the authorities for acts of violence and had been in prison, was angered by this unjust decision, and expressed his righteous indignation by stabbling to death the manager of a refugee centre in the city of Pau, in the Pyrénées-Atlantique département.

Inspector Clouseau, of the local gendarmerie, said the "suspect"'s motives remain "unknown". Of course the cops would say that, lest they be accused of provoking Islamophobia. It's actually a pretty reutine story, in today's France, a self-proclaimed "secular republic". I mention this because on Tuesday, France's National Assembly voted to implement tough new measures to strengthen the secular nature of state institutions and eradicate what President Emmanuel Macron calls the threat of "Islamic separatism" among the country's rapidly increasing Muslim population. The government bill to "reaffirm republican principles" passed by a comfortable majority. It tabled last December in the wake of the killing of another French public servant, Samuel Paty, a middle-school teacher who had shown cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to his students as part of a lesson on freedom of expression. The legislation had been in the works long before that, amid a debate about how to counter the radicalization of Muslims who believe their religious ideals should take precedence over those of the Republic. The new laws have been denounced by the usual suspects, including the lamestream media on this side of the pond, as "racist", "Islamophobic", "anti-Muslim", yada yada yada. AP headlined its report "France passes anti-radicalism bill that worries Muslims". That's all ye know and all ye need to know. The bill now moves on to the French Senate, which does not have a veto over the legislation that passes the assembly, but which could propose amendments. Still, it is expected to become law later this year, just as France enters a presidential election campaign. The election won't be uhtil the spring of 2022, but Walt is ready now to open a book on it. I predict that Marion Anne Perrine "Marine" Le Pen, leader of the Rassemblement National (National Rally), will defeat M Macron, unless the forces of Soros succeed in pulling off another "Biden coup". Marine Le Pen calls EU "failure", recommends "Frexit"

Regular readers will know that I have lots and lots of time for Marine Le Pen, the president of the French Rassemblement National (= National Rally), a power in French politics for over a decade, resisting globalism and promoting the growing movement to make France France again.

Madame Le Pen weighed in yesterday on Brexit -- the official withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union -- which finally took place on January 31st, at the stroke of midnight, western European time, in accordance with documents previously signed by both parties. In a Tweet, Mme Le Pen called the British exit from the EU the beginning of the collapse of the European Union and the formation of independent European states.

Mme Le Pen wrote (translated), "Brexit Day should mark the beginning of the construction of the European Alliance of Independent Nations, which we wish for." She believes the vast majority of Europeans want independence from the EU, which she predicted will go down in history as an "epic failure."

Inspired by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's success in "getting Brexit done", Mme Le Pen vowed to return France to "common sense". Millions of Frenchmen and women wish her well.

Can Muslims integrate into western societies? The French say NON!

"Face à l'islam, les Français s'inquiètent" - That's the unsurprising headline on a report in Le Journal du Dimanche (= Sunday Journal) on a recent survey conducted by pollsters IFOP (French Institute of Public Opinions). It means "Confronted by Islam, the French are getting worried." No kidding!

The IFOP poll showed that 61% of French people think that Islamism is "incompatible with the values of French society." That's a rise of 8% over the number who thought that when asked in 2018. The polling firm was investigating the "worrying" rise and influence of Islamism in France, and its manifestations in many aspects of public life, particularly in the public display of such symbols of Islam as the wearing of the niqab (veil) and burqa (complete head-to-toe body covering). Another manifestation of the Islamization of France (and all of western Europe) is the increasing number of schools where Islam, including the law of Sharia, is taught. According to the IFOP survey, 80% of pensioners, 69% of workers, 70% of employers, and even 55% of left-wing voters expressed concern about this. According to another IFOP survey, nearly half (46%) of foreign-born Muslim immigrants want France to replace its legal system with Sharia law. That point of view is supported by 18% of Islamists born in France.

On this and other questions on the accommodation of Muslims, the poll noted a strong difference of opinion between between left and right. About 55% of the supporters of the leftist group France Insumisa and the Socialist Party defended Muslim worship, while 85% of the supporters of Marine Le Pen's National Rally agreed with the statement that "Islamism is incompatible with the values of French society."

The survey results add to those compiled last month by international global consulting firm IPSOS, which revealed that 60% of French people saw as a threat the already massive but still growing number of immigrants arriving as a result of President Emmanuel Macron's open border policy. "More than one in two French (60%) see migrants as a threat," the survey data said, and 65% "think that welcoming them will not improve the country's situation. 45% of French people think that "the arrival of migrants deprives French people of social services," it added, noting that "the idea that French people should be given priority in the allocation of jobs has increased in France over the past three years."

The people of France seem pretty clued in about the threat to their society posed by the influx of alien immigrants and "refugees". The people of Québec have also figured it out. Whether the realization comes too late to keep the Muslim tails from wagging the French and Québécois dogs doesn't bear thinking about. President Trump has moved to stop or at least limit Muslim immigration. Canada's Islamophile Prime Minister? Hah!

Breaking GOOD news! Marine Le Pen's National Rally wins European Parliament elections in France

Ed. here (again). I was just about to sign out for the day when this despatch came in on the mojo wire. Walt is a strong supporter of Marine Le Pen and will doubtless turn cartwheels when he reads this, but for the moment I'll just give you the basics, as reported by AP.

A European Parliament election that could reshape the political order across the continent drew toward a close Sunday with the anti-immigrant far right projected to win in France, and Germany's centrist governing party headed for heavy losses as well.

The four days of balloting across the 28 European Union countries were seen as a test of the influence of the nationalist, populist and hard-right movements that have swept the continent.

Exit polls in France indicated that Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally party came out on top, in an astounding rebuke for French President Emmanuel Macron, who has made EU integration the heart of his presidency.

Exit polls indicated the party of German Chancellor Angela Merkel also suffered major losses.

One-worlders quake with fear as nationalists win elections everywhere

George Soros, his puppets and minions, are much disturbed this week by results (actual and anticipated) of elections in India, Australia and the European Union. Around the world, nationalism -- not "white nationalism", but nationalism pure and simple -- is on the rise, along with anti-immigrant backlash and pushback against the globalists' one world, "new world order" agenda.

In India, the world's largest democracy (TM), exit polls suggest that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on course to win the general election which has been in progress for the last two months. The official results will be announced on Thursday, but expectations are that the BJP will emerge even stronger than after its 2014 landslide, with a majority in the Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament) a possibility.

Why does this bother the gliberals? Who cares what happens in India? To find the answer, look up "Hindutva" in the dictionary. It means "Hinduness", thus "Hindu nationalism", not "Indian nationalism". (There can be no such thing as "nationalism" in a state with such a diversity of languages, races and religions!) For Mr Modi and his people (Walt uses the term advisedly) it's not "India first!" but "HINDUS first!", to the exclusion of Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and even Sikhs. The spectre of more sectarian strife, and even another shooting war with Muslim Pakistan, looms. The prospects for peaceful coexistence in south Asia are just about nil.

Meanwhile, a couple of thousand miles to the southeast, Australia's ruling conservative coalition won a "miracle" victory in last week's general election, stunning Antipodean pollsters, the (((controlled media))) and the opposition Labour party, which, like Hellery Clinton's Democrats, had been seen as certain to win. Apparently Aussie voters didn't buy into Labour's progressive plans to fight climate change and "inequality".

And there was the immigration issue, which proved to be a ballot question for the "quiet Australians" who fear being called "racist" but fear even more Labour's proposed "humanitarian" relaxation of strict border controls which have kept boatloads of bogus refugees on islands off the Australian coast. The Financial Times quotes Duncan McDonnell, a professor of politics at Griffith University in Queensland, as saying, "The heart of Australian politics beats on the right. It's a conservative country and I think there was a trend in this election in which voters asked 'if it isn't broke, why fix it?'"

And now we come to Europe, where opinion polls show populist forces set to make major gains in the European Parliament election to be held later this week. All of Europe's mainstream, pro-EU political alliances are expected to lose seats, with the big winners likely to be the Europe of Nations and Freedom group, anchored by Matteo Salvini's League in Italy and Marine Le Pen's National Rally in France.

Take note of the name "Europe of Nations and Freedom". The group rejects absolute the idea of a "post-national" Europe run by a supra-national government at Brussels which would have the power to override the wishes of the different peoples of the different nations which comprise the EU. As the sign says, their ideas of "power to the people" and "a Europe of free nations" are spreading everywhere in Europe.

Last Saturday, Matteo Salvini led a rally of right-wing populist leaders in Milan, as they campaign for the transformation of European politics. Sig. Salvini, Minister of the Interior and head of the League party, is at the forefront of a growing movement of nationalist leaders seeking to free the 28 nations of the EU from what he calls the "illegal occupation" of Brussels.

Sig. Salvini was joined by ten other nationalist leaders, including Marine Le Pen of France’s National Rally and Joerg Meuthen of the Alternativ für Deutschland. The event was a major tour de force for the expanding movement ahead of the vote that will take place in all 28 EU nations on May 23rd-26th.

In his speech, Sig. Salvini decried unchecked migration, pledging to close Europe's borders to migrants. He also attacked Islam, saying it mistreats women. He said Turkey would never be a part of Europe and rejected the label of extremists for the leaders with him. "In this piazza, there are no extremists," he said. "There are no racists. There are no fascists. If anything in Italy and in Europe, the difference is between who looks ahead, between who speaks of the future...instead of making trials of the past."

Macron calls out army to quell Yellow Vests demonstration

Walt is watching the French (and other European media) this weekend for news of what could be a bloody clash between the French army and "yellow vests" ("gilet jaunes") protesters on the Champs-Élysées, expected in a couple of hours, at sundown. Wussy French President Emmanuel Macron has issued a directive banning protests from the most famous main street in the world, but just in case the yellow vests ignore it, he has ordered soldiers to be deployed. Some reports indicate they are being told to avoid protesters, while others indicate they have been given permission to open fire.

The soldiers have reportedly been redeployed from anti-terror Operation Sentinel duties, and are expected to be placed around government buildings and other sensitive areas, but communication about their exact role has been poor, according to Le Point. The military deployment, which follows renewed violence last Saturday, has been slammed by many, including Les Republicains senator Bruno Retailleau, who labelled it a "fatal decision".

VIDEO: Populism marches on! Today, Spain! Where next?

For months now, Walt has been reporting on the rise of parties of the "populist right". (There are so many terms in use now -- conservative, neo-conservative, libertarian, right-wing, alt-right etc -- that I'm trying for one phrase which encompasses all the groups and movements whose goal is to overturn the socialistic, politically correct, one-world orthodoxy of the liberal elites, so "populist right" it shall be, at least here on WWW.

Spurred on by the success of the Brexit referendum and the election of President Donald Trump -- still going strong half-way through his first term -- parties that represent the real people who have been the silent majority in Europe and North America have won several sub-national and national elections, and are poised to take power soon in such bastions of liberalism as Germany (Goodbye, Angela Merkel!) and Canada (Good riddance, Justin Trudeau!)

Which brings us to Spain. [What?! Ed.] Yes, you heard right, friends. It wasn't so long ago that Deutsche Welle, the official German broadcaster, featured a story headed "Spain proves sterile ground for far-right parties". I love it when analyses such as that come back to bite the writer in the bum, and that's what happened in the Spanish province of Andalusia this weekend, when the populist right Vox party made huge gains in the provincial election.

In a result which the same Deutsche Welle says "has shaken Spain's political foundations", Vox won 12 seats (out of 109) in the elections, marking the first time they've made it into a Spanish parliament.



Political scientist Eduard Güell, the "unbiased" political scientist quoted by DW, says the fact that it happened in Andalusia, which has been ruled by a social democratic party since 1982, was all the more surprising.Until now, it seemed that Spain was somehow immune to the electoral rise of the populist right, like Germany's Alternative für Deutschland, Italy's League and many others. Why did Vox win bigly? An anonymous voter told Deutsche Welle's reporter, "[Vox] are the ones who have prioritized the defence of our homeland." Right! Defence of the homeland. Defence against what or who? The foreign invaders, possibly? [What? Who? Ed.] Do I have to name them? In the video you'll hear them called "migrants". What is meant is... wait for it... Muslim "refugees" and asylum-seekers. See "Saint James Matamoros, Spain needs you again!", WWW 29/7/18. Includes video on how Saint James the Great came to be called "Matamoros".

What does this mean for the future of Spain, and of Europe? Prof Güell concedes that most polls predict that Vox will make similar gains at the national level. "All signs indicate that Vox has come to stay," told DW. In his opinion, "one cannot understand how the far right has erupted in Spain without understanding the European and international perspective and how these populist far-right parties communicate and feed off each other."

Why so? Because -- this is Walt talking now -- border security and keeping out those who would replace our culture and way of life with their alien laws and ideology is the chief concern of the majority of "real people" in every country of Europe and North America! It is no surprise to me that the populist right is on the rise. The only question is whether we, the people, will rise up soon enough and strong enough to save our civilization.

VIDEO: Marine Le Pen explains the Yellow Vest protests

This is a follow-up to our posts earlier this month on the gilets jaunes (= yellow vests) protests which started in France and spread to other European countries, and even Canada. See "What the 'Yellow Vests' want for France - good for us too?", WWW 10/12/18.

That report was a long one, containing as it did a chart of the demands of the protesters, along my list, in English, of what I considered to be the key points of their manifesto. About the time we posted that item, Emmanuel Macron, the Emperor of France [actually President pro tem (we hope). Ed.] gave a televised address in which he announced a few tepid reforms intended to placate the yellow vest protesters. 23 million Frenchmen/women watched the speech, carried on RTV, the state broadcaster.

For some reason (LOL), the state broadcaster chose not to air the response of Walt's favourite female politician, Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Front. Her explanation of what the French people want, and why M Macron's condescending "reforms" are insufficient was posted on her Facebook page the following day, and has now appeared on YouTube. Here it is -- the truth in under six minutes!
