This time, when President-Elect Trump said that he would drain the Swamp, more than 50% of Americans who voted for him knew that this was neither a cliché nor a joke.  But I don't think most of us fully understood just how enormous a task it will be to dismantle the Deep State that, from behind the scenes and the depths of the Washington underground, controls every aspect of our lives.

VIDEO: President Trump spells out his plan to destroy Deep State

All those bureaucrats, lawayers, judges and other never-Trumpers within the American government who conspired to prevent President Trump from getting back into the White House should have heeded this warning, in a pre-election video. This is what he promised to do to get rid of Deep State, once and for all.

For those of them who are hard of hearing, here are the 10 points of President Trump's plan.

1. Immediately reissue my 2020 executive order, restoring the President’s authority to remove rogue bureaucrats. 

2. Clean out all of the corrupt actors in our national security and intelligence apparatus.

3. Totally reform FISA courts which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they're lied to in warrant applications.

4. Expose the hoaxes and abuses of power that have been tearing our country apart.

5. Launch a major crackdown on government leakers who collude with the fake news [channels] to deliberately we false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy.

6. Make every Inspector General’s office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee so they do not become the protectors of the deep state.

7. Ask Congress to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people, or that they are not spying on someone’s campaign like they spied on my campaign.

8, Continue the effort launched by the Trump administration to move parts of the sprawling federal bureaucracy to new locations outside the Washington Swamp.

9. Work to ban federal bureaucrats from taking jobs at the companies they deal with and that they regulate.

10. Push a constitutional amendment to oppose term limits on members of Congress.

3 things that could upset the electoral applecart

As I remarked yesterday, things are very quiet on the electoral front. 

Comrade Harris's handlers are running a textbook "basement campaign", just as they did with Senile Joe four years ago. Since the couple of interviews she gave were dumpster fires, she doesn't do interviews any more. She's appeared at a few small rallies and fundraisers, but doesn't do pressers. When someone somehow asks a question, her stock answer is, "So, I was raised in a middle-class family." That's it, that's all. Nothing to see or hear here, folks.

As for the Donald, he's out there doing rallies, making speeches, putting himself forward. Yesterday he spoke at events in Ohio and Indiana, in the same day. We're told the campaign plan for the next 40 days is to get out there into the red states, the blue states, and the purple states -- anywhere he can get a crowd, and that includes New York, California, Wisconsin and North Carolina!

The trouble is that getting out to see the American people and let them see him -- "They didn't get me yet!" -- is risky. It's not as if presidential candidates, and even sitting presidents, haven't been shot before. I'm minded of George Wallace, because this Routh, apparently suffering from severe TDS, is the same kind of nutjob who nearly killed the Little Judge and certainly ended his campaign. I do hope someone other than the security forces of the Deep State has Mr Trump's back.

Here are three things that could happen between now and the Day of Reckoning which would force the Cackler's hand and throw the election into confusion and chaos.

Demented Joe dies, or Article 25 is invoked. Brandon's "good days" -- when he knows what's going on around him -- are becoming increasingly rare. The gaffes and "senior moments" are becoming downright embarrassing. Even staunch Dimocrats should be uncomfortable when their President's wife starts running cabinet meetings!

If the President [pro tem! Ed.] kicks the bucket or is found to be non compos mentis so there's no choice but to remove him from office under the provisions of Article 25 of the Constitution, that would make the Cackler... wait for it... President. Ready or not. Among the issues she would be forced to deal with would be

The outbreak of a full-on war by Israel against both Hamas and Hezbollah. Things are starting to get hot and heavy in and around Israel. Yesterday, campers, the government you (allegedly) elected sent more American troops to the Middle East in the run-up to the next Gulf War. How many troops or where they will be deployed is, of course, a state secret. 

What will Hock Ptui (or, more accurately) her handlers do when the shit-hammer falls? Whose side will she take -- the Jews or the Arabs? It won't be possible to remain on tghe fence, or to say "I was raised in a middle-class family" any longer. 

Questions will also be raised, quite properly, about why the administration of which Ms Harris is so proud to be a part didn't do anything to prevent the hostilities reaching this boiling point. Senile Joe and Winken Blinken have put forth no plans, drawn no red lines, or done anything except to urge the warring parties to keep talking. Is the Biden-Harris tag team going to do anything of substance between now and November 5th, ot just wait and hope the whole thing blows over?

There is also the possibility that Deep State may finally succeed (God forbid!) in its efforts to assassinate President Trump. Let's skip the outrage and recriminations and consider the reality. Walt's legal advisor (Agent 3) is weak on US constitutional law, but believes that it is now too late to remove Citizen Trump from the ballot. And even if his name no longer appears on the ballot, you could write him in. So you will be able to vote for him, even if he's dead.

What happens, then, if the late Donald Trump wins? Remember that he has a running mate, the estimable Senator J.D. Vance, and (Agent 3 thinks) in most states you vote for them together, as a team. So if the Republican team, now down its star quarterback, wins, doesn't that make the second-string quarterback President?

But wait (as Vince Offer would say), there's more... It's not the popular vote that really counts, but the vote in the Electoral College. When you vote Republican -- you will, won't you? --  you are really voting for a slate of electors bound to cast their votes for... well, it could be anyone. And their votes would almost certainly go to J.D. So the death of President Trump could very well result in the election of J.D. Vance as 47th President of the United States of America!

VIDEO shows Trump assassin-wannabe taking position on roof

First let me show you this, a new video, posted on Fox News, of the moments before the attempted assassination of President Trump.

The video was shot by James Copenhaver, one of the victims critically wounded in the July 13th "incident" at Butler PA, all mention of which Google has tried to descrub from its search engine database. 

You can see (circled) a figure moving across the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) building just minutes before gunfire rang out at the Trump rally. In the video taken at 1808 EDT, the person appears on the roof of the building adjacent to where Mr Trump is speaking and can be seen walking from the 1:00 second mark to about the 2:50 second mark. 

Officials believe that person is gunman Thomas Crooks, who began shooting with a collapsible AR-15-style rifle three minutes later. Counter snipers fatally shot Mr Crooks shortly -- very shortly -- afterward, and law enforcement officials found eight shell casings near his body. 

A commenter on X asks why Mr Crooks wasn't "dealt with". Another replies that he was a patsy, being set up to do the dirty deed after which he would be "dealt with" by the Secret Service who already had him in their sights, even while he was running across the roof to take up his position. 

Now let me quote from "Attempted assassination of President Trump: Who is responsible?" (WWW, 13/7/24). 

"Has a cover-up already begun?

"Let's suppose that the shooter was (a) an Islamic (or other) terrorist; (b) a looney leftist, antifa type; (c) an agent of the Deep State; or even (d) a sufferer from TDS, nuttier than squirrel shit and determined that there should be no second term for Trump. 

"Would the Deep State, the Democrats and their lickspittle media want you to know this? If they want to cover their sorry asses, how would they do so? Simple. By assassinating the would-be assassin. So far, what we're hearing from Official Sources is that the threat has been "contained". Whatever can that mean? Stay tuned... but don't hold your breath!"

My emphasis added. That conspiracy theory -- for such it is -- was denounced by the lickspittle media before the day was out, although not by the Secret Service or other agents of Deep State until later. Walt doesn't think it's so far-fetched. Do you?

Attempted assassination of President Trump: Who is responsible?

You've heard the news. You may be watching the news right now. About 75 minutes ago someone shot Donald J. Trump, the once and future POTUS, during a rally in Butler County PA. 

Your immediate reaction, like mine, must surely have been: who did this? That's a question which may never be answered!

10 minutes ago I watched, on NBC, a live interview with a person who said she was sitting right in the front row. After she confirmed what we saw in the video, the interviewee said "Thank God they killed rthe shooter", who she said had fired from a tower somewhere to the right Mr Trump.

Strange, isn't it, that no official source had said anything about that. Immediately the interview concluded, Lester Holt said that this was just the account of one person which could not be confirmed. Has a cover-up already begun?

Let's suppose that the shooter was (a) an Islamic (or other) terrorist; (b) a looney leftist, antifa type; (c) an agent of the Deep State; or even (d) a sufferer from TDS, nuttier than squirrel shit and determined that there should be no second term for Trump. Would the Deep State, the Democrats and their lickspittle media want you to know this?

UPDATE ADDED at 1930: It is now four hours since the failed assassination attempt. The shooter is dead, having been shot by a Secret Service sniper within seconds of shooting at President Trump from "an elevated position" (read: tower) about 200 yards from the podium (yet somehow outside the secure perimeter). 

The body of the shooter has been recovered, along with his AR-15 assault rifle, but he remains unidentified. More accurately, no-one is prepared to tell us what the government knows. Commentator on CBS to interviewee: "You've called this an 'attempted assassination'. Surely you're not implying that the government was somehow involved... are you?" Interviewee: "Oh no. No no."

Stumbling towards the decline and fall of the USA

What (Walt hears you ask) is The United States Department of Defense's Office of Net Assessment (ONA), and why do we need (and pay for) one? Well sir... The ONA was created 51 years ago by Richard Nixon to serve as an "internal think tank" for the Pentagon. Aided by outside contractors, it's supposed to look into the future of the military -- kind of like a khaki crystal ball -- and produces report [prophecies? Ed.] on the results of its research.

"Do we really need this?" Walt hears you ask. The official answer is that it is important to have a good grasp of net assessment because it is an "important part of the language spoken by leaders in the higher levels of DOD" and officers who lack familiarity "will be at a disadvantage in communicating with the civilian leadership." Got it now?

No? Does it help for me to tell  you the Director of the ONA is one James H. Baker, who has held that position since 2015, serving under the Prez, then No. 45, and now Senile Joe? One of the "ourside organizations" who assist the ONA is the Rand Corporation. Understand now? We're talking Deep State here!

According to a report prepared for the Office of Net Assessment by the Rand Corporation, the future of the Paranoid States of America isn't so bright. "The Sources of Renewed National Dynamism" looks at the US competitive position as it faces a rising China, and finds that America is stumbling towards a decline from which few great powers ever recover. 

The US of A is diminishing in power on a relative basis geopolitically, militarily, financially, economically, and technologically. Competitive pressures from within include slowing productivity growth, an aging population, a polarized political system [No kidding? Ed.] and a "corrupted information environment". Does that mean (Walt wonders) that someone is lying to us? Who could it be?

These problems are exacerbated by an addiction to luxury, failure to keep pace with technology, an ossified bureaucracy, an overstretched military and "self-interested and warring elites." Again... who are they talking about? A clue may be found in Listen, Liberal, a brilliant but obscure book by Thomas Frank (Henry Holt & Co., 2016), which Walt recommends highly.

The title is misleading. It's not a rant by an Alex Jones type, but a stinging criticism by a certified liberal of the Democratic Party, the "professional elites" and the corporate and cultural elitism, which dominates liberal politics and is responsible for the ever-deepening rift between the rich and poor in America and elsewhere.

The ONA report concludes that unless Americans can unite to identify and fix the problems it outlines, the US of A risks falling into the same downward spiral that resulted in the fall of the Roman, Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires. 

Is it too late to reverse the decline? Is it too late to make America great again? You be the judge... on November 5th!

Popular attitudes toward the professions started to sour in the 1970s. "Technocracy" was the new term for describing the reign of professionalism, and its connotations were almost entirely negative.

Rule-by-expert, it began to seem, excluded rule-by-the people. It was dehumanizing and mechanical. VIDEO: Why the weaponized FBI is targeting traditional Catholics

Last November, Most Rev. Joseph Strickland was "fired" by "Pope" Francis from his position as Bishop of Tyler (Texas). His crime? Opposing globalism, wokeism, and the leader of the New Church of the World Order. 

Following an apostolic visitation (a word with some interesting meanins) in September, several of Francis' cronies in the Vatican advised him Francis to pressure "Bishop Joe" to resign. But the good bishop refused to bend the knee! In October he penned an open letter to the faithful saying "[resigning] would be me abandoning the flock that I was given charge of by Pope Benedict XVI." 

On 31 October 2023, at the Rome Life Forum of LifeSiteNews, Bishop Strickland read out a letter (attributed to a "friend") which included the question: "Would you now allow this one [Francis] who has pushed aside the true Pope [Benedict XVI] and has attempted to sit on a chair that is not his define what the church is to be?" The letter also described Francis as an "usurper of Peter's chair" and "an expert at producing cowards". 

Bishop Strickland did not dispute these accusations, and described the letter as "challenging". He then made his own comment that Pope Francis backed the Vatican's "attack on the sacred". He was asked to resign on 9 November, and, after refusing again, was deposed on 11 November 2023.

But the prelate has not been silenced. He continues to stand up and speak up for the True Faith, whenever and wherever he can. Last week he spoke at CPAC at National Harbor Maryland. His subject was the FBI's investigation of traditional Catholics, revealed in hearings before the House Judiciary Committee last fall. Bishop Strickland was interviewed on this and related topics by Breitbart News' Matthew Perdie. Listen carefully as he gives a clear and concise explanation of why the liberals, wokesters, and Deep State have a hate-on for traditional Catholics and other Christians.

Turns out that South Carolina is not like Pennsylvania or Arizona. Truckloads of ballots did not arrive in the middle of the night to enable Nikki Haley to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. [Did you make that up? Ed.]

The lickspittle media raced to be the first to declare a result, with ABC the winner, calling Trump the winner at approximately 7:00:09 EST. Here are the final numbers.

President Trump: 451,905 votes (59.8%), winning all 44 delegates to the GOP convention

Nikki Haley: 298,681 (39.5%), winning NO delegates

Ron DeSantis: 2951 votes (0.4%)

Vivek Ramaswamy: 728 votes (<0.1%). 

Walt's percentage of correct predictions (see yesterday's post): .990.

So... no surprises, then. Just like the Holiday Inn. Walt notes two things.

First... the Republican Party belongs to President Trump, whether the RINOs and never-Trumpers (Hello, David Frum) like it or not. Whatever demographic or regional divisions may have existed in the past have been largely swept away. As proof of this, I offer the prospect of Senator Tim Scott being offered the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket.

Second... the Dumbocrats must now be seriiously considering showing President Brandon the exit door, while there is still time [about a minute and a half. Ed.] to find another candidate for the presidensity.

Some Dems are putting on a brave face, saying Demented Joe is the only one who could beat the Orange Man, but the operative word there is "could"... not "will". If you're an independent voter and have to choose between two old white guys with health and legal issues, which one would you trust to pilot the ship of state through the stormy seas that lie ahead. [That's enough metaphors. Ed.]

That brings us back to "Waiting in the wings... or maybe just outside the window?", WWW 22/1/24. Mrs Barrack Hussein Obama would be a plausible candidate, but my guess is that she would only throw her do-rag in the ring once Brandon is tail-lights, and if Deep State has everything rigged so that she couldn't possibly lose.

Ms Haley vows to go on to Michigan and Super Tuesday. Whether or not she is able to find the support -- especially financial support -- necessary to do so doesn't matter. She was effectively cooked -- fried -- last night. After Super Tuesday is when the Democratic long knives will come out. Stay tuned.

VIDEO: Deep State persecution of Babylon Bee begins in earnest

The Democrats, the Deep State, the gliberals, the wokesters, the secular humanists and the lickspittle media all dislike The Babylon Bee - your trusted source of Christian satire. In some cases, it's more than dislike, more like HATE, although we know that only conservatives and right-wingers can be "haters".

It's noto hard to figure out why. The Bee is now one of the leading publishers of articles goring sacred cows and uncovering steaming piles of bullshit. For example: "God Sends Giant Waves To Wash Away California Sidewalk Poop" (30/12/23) and "The Biden Administration's Top 10 Accomplishments Of 2023" (30/12/23) -- the latter a must-read. 

And that's just part of yesterday's output. It's all Walt can do to manage one really good article (as opposed to videos and filler) every week. Of course the Bee's staff is considerably larger than ours. [Glad you understand. Ed.]

Anyway, it's no wonder that contributors to the Bee are walking around with targets on their backs. And now that the re-election of President Trump is less 11 months away, the gloves (or the left globe at least) are coming off.

Who's the REAL authoritarian dictator?

On December 17th, Robert F. Kennedy Jr tweeted @TuckerCarlson: "The CIA’s murder of my uncle was a successful coup d'état from which our democracy has never recovered." Check it out.

Everything happened at once, Part 3

21 years ago today

Yes, I am well aware that this is the 21st anniversary of 9/11. And I know the topic of who dunnit and what happened after that has been done to death. But I think it's worth revisiting as Americans ask themselves which is the right party to entrust with national security in these ever more troubled times.

Recommended reading: The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Decline and Fall of Truth from 9/11 to Katrina, by New York Times columnist Frank Rich, Penguin Press, 2006. As you would expect, considering who Mr Rich worked for, the book is an attack on President George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and the Republican Party. 

But... in revealing how the American people were suckered into supporting an unprovoked war on Iraq (and later Afghanistan), Mr Rich reveals how Deep State, which is non-partisan, co-opted his newspaper and the rest of the lickspittle media. 21 years later, the same mass media are conspiring, at the behest of Deep State and the WTF giants who fund them, to gull you into believing that you should overlook the disastrous failures of the Biden administration and leave them in control of Congress. "Don't worry folks, everything's gonna be OK. Trust us (again)!"

When the Islamic extremists -- the jihadis -- attacked the US of A on 9/11, Americans almost unanimously rallied behind its new, untested president. The papers, notably but not only the NYT and WAPO, and the TV networks, particularly CNN, organized the cheerleading, which went on 24/7 until years after the resolution authorizing the invasion of Iraq had been passed.

That there was no basis whatever for the claims that the Iraqis had, or were about to have weapons of mass destruction (WMD), or that Saddam Hussein was in cahoots with Al-Qaeda, was ignored or suppressed, just as all those stories about the nefarious dealings of Son Hunter are being suppressed today. 

One is reminded of the story of the famous American painter, Frederic Remington, who was sent by William Randolph Hearst, the master of yellow journalism, to cover the incipient Spanish-American war. When he reported from Havana that there was nothing going on, Mr Hearst allegedly replied, "You furnish the pictures. I'll furnish the war."

So it was after 9/11. The priority of the Deep State behind Dubya was not to vanquish Al-Qaeda but to consolidate its own power at any cost. It was a mission that could be accomplished only by a propaganda presidency in which reality was steadily replaced by a scenario of the White House's own invention. Thus it was that America was led for a second time to intervene in the Muslim civil wars, and attack a small and impotent country which had never attacked it.

The Republicans and the lickspittle media intimidated the Democrats into incoherence and impotence, and turned the presidential election of 2004 into an irrelevant referendum on macho imagery and same-sex marriage. Mr Rich's book shows, with a day-by-day timeline, how the institutions that should have exposed these fictions -- the mainstream news media -- were too often left powerless by the administration's relentless attack machine and their own unquestioning political correctness. 

Nothing has changed. If anything, the situation has worsened. The Biden administration controls the media. Deep State controls the administration. Are Americans going to be fooled again?!

One final thought. Among the political leaders who rallied behind the Bush War effor was none other than Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.  During the run-up to the last election campaign, Demented Joe claimed that despite voting to authorize military force against Iraq in 2002, he opposed the Iraq war from "the moment" it began. Biden never outright opposed military action in Iraq in the immediate days after the start of the invasion, as he claimed. He now admits his recent comments went too far. During the second Democratic primary debate on July 31, Biden said his “bad judgment” in voting to authorize President George W. Bush to use military force against Iraq in 2002 was “trusting the president saying he was only doing this to get inspectors in and get the U.N. to agree to put inspectors in.” 

In a speech days before the 2002 vote, Bush did say approving the resolution “does not mean that military action is imminent or unavoidable,” but he also laid out in detail why military action “may” be needed. And on the day the war broke out, Biden acknowledged, “We voted to give him the authority to wage that war. We should step back and be supportive.” 

It wasn’t until Nov. 27, 2005, that Biden acknowledged on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that his 2002 vote authorizing force in Iraq was “a mistake.” “It was a mistake,” Biden said. “It was a mistake to assume the president would use the authority we gave him properly. … We gave the president the authority to unite the world to isolate Saddam. And the fact of the matter is, we went too soon. We went without sufficient force. And we went without a plan.”

Right now, the Democrats and their propaganda machine are manufacturing -- just as in 2001 -- "threats to national security", which they are trying to lay at the feet of President Trump. Don't listen to them. Listen to me! The greatest threat to the safety, security and well-being of America and Americans does not come from within Mar-a-Lago, but from within the White House. Keep that in mind when you vote in November.

9/11 changed everything. Right? Everybody knows that. Until 9/11, America, having won WWII single-handed, was thought by its people to be impregnable. [= can't have children? Ed.] The idea of enemies, especially backward barbarians [= people with beards. Ed.] attacking and killing Americans on their own soil was inconceivable [= can't have children? Ed.]

Then 9/11 happened and the United States of America became what I call the Paranoid States of America. I am not alone in thinking that Americans panic easily. The late great George Carlin said those exact words in a bit about "germs", which he performed years before the Great Dempanic. 

But this is not about the threat to the nation's wellbeing posed by the Wuhan flu or monkeypox or whatever health crisis comes along tomorrow. This is about how the Deep State used 9/11 to take control of the administration and take away Americans' freedoms, all in the name of "national security".

What follows is excerpted from The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Decline and Fall of Truth in Bush's America, by Frank Rich (Penguin 2006). Talking about the Great Anthrax Scare -- remember that? -- which began just three weeks after 9/11, Mr Rich writes:

Bush said little about it, delegating the problem to ineffectual Cabinet members like [Tommy] Thompson, the secretaryof health and human services, and the attorney general, John Ashcroft.... They were Keystone Kops in the costumes of bureaucrats, ready at any time to slip on a banana peel....

Ashcroft often shook as if he'd just seen not only great Caesar's ghost, but perhaps John Mitchell's as well. In his disregard for the law, Ashcroft often did seem determined to emulate the Watergate-era attorney general, though on a grander scale.

It wasn't enough for Congress to enhance his antiterrorist legal arsenal legitimately by passing the USA Patriot Act before most of those on the Hill had taken the time or the trouble to read it; the attorney general changed other rules without consulting senators or congressmen of either party at all.

He abridged by decree the Freedom of Information Act, an esssential check on government misbehavior during peace and war alike, and discreetly slipped into the Federal Register a new directive allowing eavesdropping on conversaqtions between some lawyers and clients.

If the administration was really proud of grabbing "emergency" powers at wartime, why was it doing so in the dead of night? Ashcroft refused repeated requests to explain himself before congressional committees. At one House briefing where he did show up, he told congressmen they could call an 800 number if they had any questions about what his department was up to.

Remind you of anyone? Sounds to me like Merrick Garland, answering for the FBI raid on President's Trump's Florida home! Getting back to what Mr Ashcroft did, supposedly to protect national security, Mr Rich continues:

Ashcroft's Justice Department seemed to be squandering time and resources on wild goose chases that pumped up arrest numbers without making any progress on tracking down terrorists.... But Ashcreoft had been zealous and then some about warning of other terrorism attacks while the anthrax threat was proceeding under his nose. 

The first alert of a probable new attack was issued two weeks after 9/11. On the first month anniversary of 9/11, the attorney general and the FBI warned again that new attacks by terrorists either in America or overseas might happen in the "next several days." Bush endorsed this alert, but neither he nor anyone in the government explained how serious the threat was or what form it might take or when it might happen.

Before you say "So what? That's ancient history... and Bush was a Republican," please consider that the DOJ and other organs of the Deep State never gave back the far-reaching and unconstitutional powers they arrogated [excellent word -- look it up. Ed] to themselves in the aftermath of 9/11.

The Deep State and their bought-and-paid-for media say now that President Trump's keeping certain unspecified "top secret documents" mixed in with other papers at Mar-a-Lago represents a "threat to national security". I would like to know from whence comes that threat?!

Who is threatening the Paranoid States of America, now that Saddam Hussein has been killed, along with Obama Bin Laden and their successors. Who hates America and Americans enough to wage jihad against the Land of the Somewhat Free? 

OK, it's the Islamic extremists, right, the ones who pulled off 9/11 but haven't really done anything horrible on American soil since. Is the DOJ seriously suggesting that Mr Trump is somehow colluding with the mad mullahs and will reveal to them our plans to start the Gulf Wars again?

If not the Arabs, then how about the Russians? The Dumbocrats already tried without success to portray Messrs Trump and Putin as co-conspirators against Democracy with a capital D. It didn't work. China, then? Couldn't be. China only does business with Hunter Biden and Mr. Big.

So I repeat... where is the threat to national security? If, anywhere in the three dozen boxes of papers which have now been taken away from the Trump residence, there is one single iota, jot or tittle of evidence proving that President Trump was planning to sell out or otherwise harm the US of A, I'd like to see it. 

UPDATE ADDED 28/8/22: A federal judge in Florida told the Justice Department on Saturday to provide her with more specific information about the classified records removed from President Donald Trump's Florida estate. and said it was her "preliminary intent" to appoint a special master in the case, as requested by the former president's lawyers, who complained that the Feds didn't disclose enough information about exactly what was seized when the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago on August 8th.

This is turning into a really weird week. But Walt is ready with his weirdness waders and his BS meter, so let's have at it. We're talking about the FBI raid -- the lickspittle press are calling it a mere "search" now, even though it happened in the dead of night -- on Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's Floriday home.

There are lots of questions about this unprecedented use of the federal police powers against a private citizen. Who ordered the raid? Who authorized it? What were they looking for? What did they seize? What was the point of it all, if not to harrass the man the Deep State fears most?

Lots of questions, but a dire dearth of answers. When questions were asked at the White House, President Brandon's natural-haired press secretary said the Big Guy knew nothing. She hastened to add, "...about that. He heard about it on the TV, like everyone else."

Do you believe that neither Brandon nor anybody else in the White House knew that the FBI was about to stage a raid on the residence of a former occupant of the Oval Office? Here's what Liz Wheeler has to

On Wednesday, the lickspittle media were pointing fingers at Christopher Wray, the Director of the FBI. If the Big Guy and his Attorney General, Merrick Garland, didn't know about it (they said), Mr Wray must have "gone rogue", ordering the search off his own bat. Why someone appointed by President Trump (!) would do that was not explained.

Walt thinks that, sometime Wednesday night, Mr Wray reached out to Mr Garland or one of his minions and promised that if he (Wray) was going to go down, others would go down with him. No surprise then that on Thursday morning it was announced that Mr Garland would make an Official Statement in the afternoon.

And so he did, taking responsibility for "authorizing" the search -- a word not totally synonymous with "ordering". In fact, as Dr Taylor Marshall pointed out, it was a Florida magistrate -- an Obama appointee and donor with connections to Jeffrey Epstein -- who actually signed the warrant.

Walt hesitates [but not for long! Ed.] to impute motive to anyone, but, as Liz Wheeler says, President Trump put the kibosh on the appointment of Mr Garland to SCOTUS, so revenge could be his reason for "authorizing" the raid. But he said there was a differentreason, which would be understood once the warrant was unsealed, as requested yesterday by the Department of Justice.

Mr Garland said he didn't make the decision lightly, and filed the motion to unseal was "given the substantial public interest in this matter." Hell yes! We really would like to know! And we don't want to wait for the reveal of what will surely be a highly redacted version of the document. Won't someone please tell us more?

Step forward the Washington Post -- who else -- who reported last night that the G-men were looking for "documents relating to nuclear weapons. Cazart! So that's it? The Orange Man is building an atomic bomb in his basement, for use in the impending insurrection! 

Walt can hardly wait to find out exactly what documents were recovered. Could they include Nuclear Fission for Dummies or the August 1945 issue of Popular Science, which included an article headed "How to make your own A-bomb for fun and profit"? Seems to me there'd better be more than that... a lot more!

UPDATE ADDED at 1130: Breitbart News complete report on the warrant and list of what was seized. (Spoiler alert: Most of the listed are items are simply called "documents".) We now have even more questions than clear answers.

VIDEO: Dr Taylor Marshall reveals reason for FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago

Dr Taylor Marshall's videos have been featured on WWW many times. Usually he talks about the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church. This time it's different. For the first time anywhere (as nearly as Ed. can tell), Dr Marshall makes the connection between the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's Floriday residence, and the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal! 

The connection is this. The judge who approved the unprecedented raid has been named (by left-learning Politico, no less!) as Bruce Reinhart, who worked as a federal prosecutor until 1 January 2008. A day later he became a defence attorney representing employees and clients of Jeffrey "Pedo" Epstein, the convicted pimp and pervert.

  

It comes down to this. President Trump said he would drain the swamp -- the Deep State which controls the real US government. He didn't swing the axe fast enough or deep enough. They are still there, giving a pass to those they like (Hello, Hunter Biden!) and doing their damndest to cancel those they don't, like President Trump.

Christians! You are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. As Dr Marshall says, "Go out there and be salty!"

VIDEO: Previewing "The Plot Against the President"

A couple of days ago, Agent 17 asked me what I thought about QAnon and the theory that there is a Deep State plot to get rid of Still-President Trump. No such conspiracy exists, according to (for instance) WaPo. It's actually the QAnon people who are the conspirators, they say: "QAnon, the Conspiracy Theory Creeping Into U.S. Politics", 23/8/20. It's all the work of the QAnon "wack-jobs", so they say.

But (I asked 17), do you really believe that the Lefties, Antifa, the (((controlled media))), the never-Trumpers, the RINOs and the Dumbocrats, are not pulling out all the stops to ensure that Mr Trump is not re-elected? Do they not say so themselves? About the only thing that I haven't heard people like Crazy Maxine Waters advocate is the actual use of deadly force. On the other hand, the Dems haven't rushed to the microphones to denounce the anti-government, anti-police, anti-everything riots in (for instance) Portland either.

"The Plot Against the President" sounds like the title of a novel, a work of pure fiction, doesn't it? Who (except for QAnon) could think of such a thing in America, the bastion of democracy? In America, presidents are not assassinated... Oh, wait... But that was in the past. Nowadays the best the "antis" can hope for is impeachment. But what does it take to get a President impeached? Something like a conspiracy to manufacture evidence of something like collusion with a foreign power... Russia, for instance.

Which brings us to The Plot Against the President, which turns out to be the title of a real book, a bestseller written by investigative journalist Lee Smith in 2019. The subtitle is Revelations on the Deep State from the House Intelligence Committee. Please note, not QAnon but "the House Intelligence Committee".

Mr Smith's book tells how Congressman Devin Nunes uncovered the operation to bring down the Commander-in-Chief. The allegations, since totally discredited, that Russia subverted democratic processes during the 2016 elections, was actually part of a slow-moving coup engineered by a coterie of the American elite, the "deep state," targeting not only the president, but also the rest of the country.

The good news (?) is that you don't have to read The Plot Against the President. The movie, directed by Amanda Milius, daughter of legendary screenwriter-director John Milius and a State Department alum, is coming out on October 1st! Here's the trailer.



The movie -- a documentary, not a work of fiction -- turns leftist conspiracy theories on the head, and shows who the real conspirators are. (Spoiler alert: Does the phrase "Deep State" mean anything to you?) Expect scathing reviews and heaps of "fact-checking" from the WaPo and the rest of the (((controlled media))) when it appears. Walt's suggestion: go see The Plot Against the President (if it gets into a cinema near you) and judge for yourself. When should you do that? On or before Tuesday, November 3rd!

Why Matt Taibbi thinks the deep state coup vs Pres Trump is dangerous

It's been a while since we quoted Matt Taibbi here, not because of his leftish political views [Free speech for everyone! Ed.], and certainly not because he's not funny. He is a fine writer and I can't help but chuckle as I read something like Insane Clown President. The thing is that I wait for Mr Taibbi's books to appear, because I refuse to read Rolling Stone. So I was pleased to discover, today, that Mr T pens (or types) Untitledgate, a newsletter (or "serial book", as he calls it"), which will be delivered to you by e-mail... if you subscribe, of course.

Even better news is that some parts are available to cheap Charlies [like Walt! Ed.] who want to read before they shell out the spondulix. The most recent offering, headed "We're in a permanent coup", is subheaded "Americans might soon wish they just waited to vote their way out of the Trump era". Eh? Must read! Here are some excerpts.

We have long been spared this madness [change of government by coup] in America. Our head-counting ceremony was Election Day. We did it once every four years. That’s all over, in the Trump era....

The men who are the proxies for Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani...are asserting that "official channels" have been corrupted. The forces backing impeachment, meanwhile, are telling us those same defendants are obstructing a lawful impeachment inquiry.... We are speeding toward a situation when someone in one of these camps refuses to obey a major decree, arrest order, or court decision, at which point Americans will get to experience the joys of their political futures being decided by phone calls to generals and police chiefs.

They don’t understand that this predicament is worse than having a bad president.

The Trump presidency is the first to reveal a full-blown schism between the intelligence community and the White House. Senior figures in the CIA, NSA, FBI and other agencies made an open break from their would-be boss before Trump's inauguration, commencing a public war of leaks that has not stopped....

The agencies' new trick is inserting themselves into domestic politics using leaks and media pressure. The "intel chiefs" meeting was just the first in a series of similar stories, many following the pattern in which a document was created, passed from department from department, and leaked. [Examples are given.] ...

I don't believe most Americans have thought through what a successful campaign to oust Donald Trump would look like. Most casual news consumers can only think of it in terms of Mike Pence becoming president. The real problem would be the precedent of a de facto intelligence community veto over elections, using the lunatic spookworld brand of politics that has dominated the last three years of anti-Trump agitation.

CIA/FBI-backed impeachment could also be a self-fulfilling prophecy. If Donald Trump thinks he's going to be jailed upon leaving office, he'll sooner or later figure out that his only real move is to start acting like the "dictator" MSNBC and CNN keep insisting he is. Why give up the White House and wait to be arrested, when he still has theoretical authority to send Special Forces troops rappelling through the windows of every last Russiagate/Ukrainegate leaker? That would be the endgame in a third world country, and it's where we're headed, unless someone calls off this craziness. Welcome to the Permanent Power Struggle.
