Can you legislate love and hate? More anti-hate laws coming...

Scraped from "Toronto film fest nixes Oct 7 doc screening, cites Hamas ownership of massacre clips", Blazing Cat Fur, 13/8/25.

You'll see there a reference ther to Triumph of the Will, which has now disappeared from YouTube. Ed. knows where to find it but hesitates to post it here for fear of the thought police.

VIDEO: Sample Blazing Cat Fur's new video channel

Regular readers of WWW will know that we often refer to Blazing Cat Fur (aka BCF), a great news aggregator which we read every day, and from which we often get leads or memes or other good stuff. Some follks, though, prefer listening to reading. For them, the good folks at BCF have created a video channel on Rumble. Here's a sample.

Note that it's on Rumble. Walt used to post videos on YouTube (BCF calls it "CommieTube") but don't like to see good things "cancelled" (read: censored) because they conflict with YT's "community standards". So for original posts, we use Rumble too! Free speech forever!

Call it whatever you like...

The words "fascism" and "fascist" were coined when Benito Mussolini rose to power in Italy, almost a century ago. Some people think fascism died when Il Duce was overthrown just before the end of WWII. "Progressives", however, want you to believe that fascism lives on in today's America.

Google's totally unbiased (LMAO) AI overview tells us: Fascism is a far-right political ideology characterized by authoritarianism, ultranationalism, and often militarism. It emphasizes the importance of the nation above individual rights and prioritizes a strong, centralized state controlled by a dictatorial leader or a small group. Key features include the suppression of dissent, [my emphasis] a focus on national unity and renewal, and the use of propaganda and symbols to cultivate a sense of national identity and purpose.

Here's another view.

Try speaking out against the liberal, woke, orthodoxy pushed by the intellectual elites and their lickspittle media and you'll soon find out who the real fascists are.

BREAKING: "Allahu akbar!" in Copenhagen?

I don't want to be accused [again. Ed.] of jumping to an Islamophobic conclusion, so will just give you what little we've heard via the mojo wire about a dastardly attack in Denmark on the eve of this weekend's elections to the European parliament.

Today in Copenhagen, an otherwise unidentified "male attacker" assaulted Mette Frederiksen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, in Kultorvet Square in central Copenhagen. Given the rather public locale of the attack, we assume it was not a sexual assault. Most likelyit was politically motivated.

Ms Frederiksen, who was out on private business (not campaigning) was said to be "shocked" by the incident, but her office has yet to give any details of her condition.

In the kind of statement usually associated with the politically correct suppression of news of terrorist attacks, Copenhagen police said, "There has been an incident at Kultorvet this evening involving the prime minister. We have an arrest in the case, which we are now investigating. We currently have no further comments or observations on the matter."

We are left to wonder why, if the coppers already have their man, they are so tight-lipped about his name, ethnicity, religion and possible motive. What kind of person would assault a popular and plain-spoken politician like Ms Frederiksen?

Here's a clue. In September of 2022, Ms Frederiksen said she wanted to close Muslim independent schools and distribute them to state schools. Why? Because they don't promote integration, and have anti-Semitic and terrorist leanings.

Ed. is searching the archives for the meme we usually run with such stories, and will post it as soon as our suspicions are confirmed. Meanwhile, check out our featured stoy, in the sidebar at right.

Facebook sez Vatican stamps "adult content", vs "community standards"

Our Agent 78 is a philatelist [= stamp collector, Ed.] as well as a Catholic. A couple of days ago, 78 listed a small collection of stamps from the Holy See [= Vatican, Ed.] on Facebook Marketplace. Here's what happened next.

Our agent appealed, and the appeal was denied. Apparently the Karens at FB -- owned by (((Mark Zuckerberg))) -- Think there's something about these little bits of art that violate their woke "community standards". What could the problem be? Look closely!

I don't see anything naughty there. Do you? But, as Vince Offer used to say: wait, there's more! the collection includes this postcard.

By George, Holmes, I think you've got it. The wokesters at Facebook aren't anti-Catholic. They're anti-Michaelangelo! Funny, though. You'd think their biases in favour of all that is encompasssed by the liberal queer agenda would welcome publication of depictions of the beauty of the male body. Apparently not.

Anyone who's had similar experiences with ridiculous censorship on Facebook Marketplace is encouraged to share them in the Comments section. Click on the headline and the window will open underneath the text.

Anti-black racism in the Great White North? Surely you jest!

As regular readers of WWW know, racism of any kind is not tolerated in Canuckistan. Well, anti-white racism is OK, but slurs on Bipocs, followers of the Religion of Peace, Jews, and any other WAP (Woke-Approved People) are "completely unnaceptable"- the most overused phrase of 2023.

"Could you give us an example?", Walt hears you ask. Certainly. Meet Franck Sylvestre and his friend, who starred in a show called "L'incroyable secret de barbe noire" ("The Incredible Secret of Blackbeard") which was performed in a suburb of Montréal last year... just once.

M Sylvestre's show was included in the municipality's Black History Month schedule, but was cancelled because some Forces for Good in the community found it racist -- totally unacceptable! Imagine that!

A "civil rights" group telling named The Red Coalition -- how's that for full disclosure? -- called for further performances of the theatre piece to be cancelled, arguing that the unnamed puppet [At least he wasn't called "Sambo". Ed.] was an example of "anti-Black racism and reminiscent of blackface minstrel shows — performances intended to mock Black people."

The Red Coalition's director, Alain Babineau, tweeted that M Sylvestre's play was a "drop of systemic racism" and suggested M Sylvestre was a "sellout" in the service of white people. Franck Sylvestre is black (or "Black", if you prefer) by the way, a native of Martinique, a French possession [not "colony", shurely. Ed.] in the Caribbean.

Yesterday M Sylvestre has filed a lawsuit against M Babineau, alleging that he made unreasonable claims about the puppet, which have damaged his career in the theatre. According to the statement of claim, M Babineau "unreasonably associated the plaintiff and his puppet with racism, with the submission of Black people to white people and even white supremacism and the dehumanization of Black people."

It goes on to call the criticism an attack on Sylvestre's reputation, and an attempt "to expose him to the hatred and contempt of the public in general and the Black community in particular."

At a presser yesterday, M Sylvestre's lawyer said the puppet is based on his client's own appearance and that there's nothing racist about the show. He said it is not defamatory to describe actual racist comments as racist, but associating "someone who is clearly not racist, with a show that is clearly not racist" with racism is defamatory.

"It's an issue of freedom of artistic expression," the lawayer added. "If every representation of a Black person that doesn't please M Babineau and others becomes blackface, becomes the subject of calls for censorship, that limits my client's freedom of artistic expression and, potentially, that of other artists."

Indeed. If you were a juror, would you find for M Sylvestre, or do you believe M Babineau was doing the only decent and woke thing by calling out an expression of anti-black racism which in today's progressive society is... wait for it... complete unacceptable.

Note from Ed.: We contacted the Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, Blackie McBlackface, for comment, but have received no response.

VIDEO: Deep State persecution of Babylon Bee begins in earnest

The Democrats, the Deep State, the gliberals, the wokesters, the secular humanists and the lickspittle media all dislike The Babylon Bee - your trusted source of Christian satire. In some cases, it's more than dislike, more like HATE, although we know that only conservatives and right-wingers can be "haters".

It's noto hard to figure out why. The Bee is now one of the leading publishers of articles goring sacred cows and uncovering steaming piles of bullshit. For example: "God Sends Giant Waves To Wash Away California Sidewalk Poop" (30/12/23) and "The Biden Administration's Top 10 Accomplishments Of 2023" (30/12/23) -- the latter a must-read

And that's just part of yesterday's output. It's all Walt can do to manage one really good article (as opposed to videos and filler) every week. Of course the Bee's staff is considerably larger than ours. [Glad you understand. Ed.]

Anyway, it's no wonder that contributors to the Bee are walking around with targets on their backs. And now that the re-election of President Trump is less 11 months away, the gloves (or the left globe at least) are coming off.

The Bee's Siaka Massaquoi was recently separated by the FBI from his pregnant wife, who arrested him at an airport over charges related to January 6th. In this video he tells what really happened on January 6th and what he was doing at the Capitol Building on that fateful day. .

If  you agree that Mr Massaquoi is being unjustly persecuted by the weaponized FBI, and would like to help, click here to contribute to his legal defence fund. And keep reading the Bee!

Where to find new stuff by Scott Adams

I'm still like the fly on the rim of the toilet bowl -- pissed off! -- about the wokesters' cancellation of Dilbert, and its creator, Scott Adams. I imbibed the wisdom of Dilbert (and especially Dogbert) every day since the creation. It was from Dogbert that I learned how to answer questions about how many people read WWW.

But, as Mr Adams found out in February, you can only be politically incorrect for so long.

Scott Adams paid the price for being un-PC enough to say that he had given up trying to help blacks [that should be "Blacks". Ed.] If you wondered why you don't see the Dilbert comic strips in your local newspaper any more, click here to find out what happened.

But, I'm happy to report, Mr Adams refused to surrender to the libtard censors. His latest book, Reframe Your Brain, which was put on hold during the woke foofaraw, as now been published, and looks like it's going to be a big seller.

In an e-mail which he sent us recently Mr Adams, says he keeps hearing from people who have bought 2-10 copies apiece. It's in the Top 20 of all books on Amazon. There's an Audible version too.

What's Reframe Your Brain about? In his e-mail, Mr Adams told us: "Reframes are short sentences that tune your brain for a happier and more successful life. I have over 160 reframes for business, mental health, social life, and reality itself. People tell me they have achieved incredible results already."

If self-help books aren't your thing, and you're really looking for the Dilbert comic, it has been reborn as a spicier version, naughtier than newspapers allowed, available only by subscription: You can find it on X (formerly Twitter) by subscription at @ScottAdamsSays.

The strip is also part of the content on Coffee With Scott Adams. But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's lots more -- over two-hundred Micro Lessons (2-4 minutes) each teaching a useful skill or reframe, the occasional Robots Read News comic, daily livestreams on the headlines, frequent live streams from the Adams Man Cave in the evenings, and tons of other fun memes and posts including community stuff.

If you subscribe or donate, please tell Scott that Walt sent ya!

VIDEO: What if there's no "hate" in "hate speech"?

From Sky News Australia comes a sensible comment about the growing trend to characterize any remark -- any remark at all -- about some "oppressed minority" as "hate speech"? Rowan Dean says the far left may have finally pushed their anti-free speech agenda too far!

Been missing Walt? Here's why!

"Community guidelines"? WHAT "community"? Three guesses...
Must have been something we said, but they don't tell us what. Ed.

Walt is considering his options

Ed. here. For some reason Walt's readership stats tanked this week. Our "hits count" is down approximately 98% from our average over the first 51 weeks of 2022. We don't know if The Alphabet People (not the LGBTQXY+++ but the really dangerous ones at Google) have shadow-banned us -- we don't even knowo what that means -- or if our regular readers have abandoned us.

Anyhoo... Walt says he's tired of
so if the people of the AABC countries and western Europe want to sleep through the suicide of Western civilization, why should we keep trying to wake them up? A decision will be made by 3 January 2023.

Wednesday, December 28, 2022

Walt has been censored... maybe???

Not sure what we said, but something has got Walt shadow-banned. Either that or there's a problem with the Blogspot counter. That happened a few months ago.

If you're reading this, please leave a comment and let us know. Of course you needn't do that if you're not reading this. I trust I make myself obscure. Ed.

Christmas clearance sale - 1980s NATIONAL LAMPOON

We pause now for a word from our esteemed sponsor. (We call  him that because he's really esteemed about the Canuck Freedom Convoy!)

He's just listed dozens of used copies of National Lampoon, the Adult Humor Magazine, from 1980 through 1985, in lots of three or four for only $5.00 or $6.00 plus S&H.

Click here for details of the package shown in the photo

When you buy, be sure to tell `em Walt sent ya! We don't get a commission, but every now and then CJ feeds Walt's kitty, if you know what we mean.

Amusing (?) footnote: Our sponsor reports that Facebook Marketplace won't take these listings, which they say violate their blue-stocking "community standards". Don't know which community they live in, but apparently nothing is funny there!

Waiting for the 8th - YouTube bans Remnant Underground... again!

Our old friend Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper and host of Remnant Underground, has sent us an email which confirms that the establishment media, the Alphabet People [not the LGBTQ+++, the other ones. Ed.] are silencing those who dare to suggest that all is not well in Brandon's America.

If you don't believe me, search Google Images for "Michael Matt" or "Remnant Underground" and see how far you have to scroll down before you get to the champion of Traditional Catholicism. Anyway, here's what Mr Matt has to say, including a link to tomorrow night's pre-election Remnant Underground special, available only at RemnantNewspaper.com.

I’m proud to report that the insufferable fascists over at YouTube have banned us from posting any new RTV video until after the midterm elections.

What are they so afraid of? Well, apparently, last November we dared to suggest there may have been some cheating going on in the last presidential election. Perish the thought! One year later, they removed that video and restricted our channel.

Do you feel safer, knowing Big Brother is protecting you from Remnant TV? I hope so!

We’re used to this, of course. Back in 2020, when RTV started hitting a million-plus views, YouTube started kindly "adjusting our algorithm" for us. Since that time and thanks to you, we built RTV back up again, and now that our videos are topping 100,000 views once again, YouTube is trying to rescue you.

Thankfully, we don’t need no stinkin' YouTube! But please do spread the word that this Sunday night, our pre-election Remnant Underground special will be available at RemnantNewspaper.com

Walt will be watching, for sure, and hopes that you, dear reader, will join us. Between now and then, I recommend that you read "COUNTERREVOLUTION: Pope Francis, Joe Biden Losing Control", published in The Remnant newspaper this past Sunday. I'll see you on the beach!

Metaverse scared of Pres. Trump? You bet!

Some of our readers were disappointed when they clicked on "VIDEO: He's coming back! Pres. Trump speaks in Texas, 22/10 - FULL" hoping to hear what President Trump had to say, only to find this.

Ed. has asked YouTube what TOS were violated, but has yet to receive an answer.

What does it all mean? Looks to us like the Alphabet people [not the LGBTQ2SXYZetc - the other ones. Ed.] are so shit-scared of the return of the Donald, not to mention the impending loss of control of Congress, that they will censor anything, anything that they believe will immanentize the eschaton.

Or it could be a copyright issue... right? In any case, the C-Span video is still accessible. Click here to watch.

Reparations for Wally!

In the past I have used the term "reparations shopping" to descreibe the shoplifting, theft and looting for which "mostly people protesters" and others are forgiven by guilt-ridden liberals, on the grounds that they (the looters) are "entitled" to some compensation for wrongs done to their ancestors in the distant past.

I mentioned the concept of reparations again last week in "National Be-nice-to-an-Indian Day", WWW 30/9/22. "All right-thinking, progressive (and White) Canucks -- and Americans too -- know that the indigenous peoples of North America were treated badly by the settlers who came across the big waters in their big canoes. Mistakes were made. Apologies have been tendered again and again. All that's needed now is... errr... reparations."

Scott Adams, whose excellent Dilbert comic strip has been dropped by 77 newspapers because he dared to make fun of racial and sexual identities, picked up on the theme in today's strip, in which Attorney Dogbert demands reparations for his client Wally. Walt (no relation to Wally, although there's a certain resemblance) hopes Mr Adams won't mind our reposting it.

If you're having trouble reading this, or want to see more Dilbert strips, or want to follow Dilbert, click here.

Footnote: Breitbart News reports that Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has warned "reparations shoppers" that Florida is a 2nd Amendment state!

Was it something we said? YouTube censorship strikes again

Long before dawn yesterday, we posted a funny video, "Indian soccer play-by-play... nuts!!!", which showed a soccer playing colliding with a goalpost and hurting a sensitive part of his anatomy, as described by an east Indian commentator in the manner of speaking peculiar to people from the Bombay area. It was, in Walt's humble opinion, LOL funny.

Apparently some viewers -- not readers of WWW, we'd like to think -- rattled YouTube's chain, for the video became "unavailable" on WWW within mere hours of our reposting it. Now here's the crazy thing. The video, which was not Walt's creation or property, is still there on YouTube! See?

So we ask ourselves, who complained about whom? Could it be that some snowflake complained not about the video offending their tender sensibilities by provoking laughter at Indian speech mannerisms, but about our reposting it?!

How could it be? Did we do something politically incorrect by laughing? Wasn't that what the creator of the video wanted us to do? Or did we somehow promote racism etc etc by sharing the video with our readers? Is a puzzlement!

Whatever we did to offend the Masters of the Metaverse, we are certainly very sorry. Oh my goodness, yes! And we promise never to do it again, good sirs, if you will but tell us wherein we have offended. And to all those who think calling attention to the very real differences between people is not funny... many good lucks to you, by Jove!

Nat Hentoff: Why I'm mad at liberal hypocrites

Nat Hentoff? Isn't he dead? Well yes. Since 2017. Before that, Mr Hentoff was an American historian, novelist, jazz and country music critic, and syndicated columnist for United Media. He was a staff writer for the New Yorker, and columnist for The Village Voice from 1958 to 2009. He wrote some fine books, including The First Freedom: The Tumultuous History of Free Speech in America. This article -- even more relevant now than 36 years ago -- appeared in the November 1985 "Mad as Hell Issue" of National Lampoon, on sale here.

Nothing gets me madder than liberals who condemn those right-wingers who attempt to suppress contrary opinions, while those very same liberals do the same thing.

Item: The National Organization for Women (NOW) passed a resolution two years ago that prevents anyone from being invited to address the annual NOW convention if that person has any point of view that disagrees with any of NOW's policies. If Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum had passed such a resolution, every member of NOW would chortle at those right-wingers showing again how rigid and narrow they were.

Item: The Progressive, a monthly out of Madison, Wisconsin, is one of the most exuberantly independent of all American political journals. It never caves in to anyone, least of all the government.... Like most irreverent political journals, The Progressive is in chronic need of money. It's been helped, now and then, by the Funding Exchange, a consortium of foundations created by the "rich kids" -- the scions of families with huge, rapaciously acquired fortunes who want to do good in penance.

On the question of abortion, the editors of The Progressive, like the staff, are pro-choice. But the editor believes that anybody who wants to talk to the readers in the advertising columns is entitled to, providing that what he's advocating is legal.

A small radical pro-life group in Kansas City, Missouri, Feminists for Life of America, put a tiny ad in the magazine for three issues running. The ad showed an eight-week foetus and advised pregnant women to think twice or maybe three times before killing him or her. That's all she wrote. The president of Feminists for Life of America, by the way, has been busted both for protesting abortion and for protesting nuclear power plants. And she runs a magazine that is far more to the economic left than those rich kids with their foundations.

Well, the executive director of the Funding Exchange (the rich kids' consortium) cancelled their subscription to The Progressive and also said she and her staff would not help raise any more money for the magazine. To be "progressive" enough for the liberal rich kids, The Progressive would have to keep its pages utterly clean of anything deviating from the pro-abortion orthodoxy.

Liberals -- especially if they're rich -- want to stifle ideas they find offensive, yet go on pretending they're the ones who are truly open to dialogue.

Then there are those librarians who, while they defend the books in their libraries from outside censors, do a pretty mean-spirited censoring job of their own. Some will not order "controversial" books -- a foolproof way of ensuring they won't get into trouble with pressure groups in the community. Others create their own system of banning books that have somehow gotten into the library.

Consider a library center in upstate New York that provides books to school libraries in Albany, Schenectady, etc. This is the advice the hip, liberal librarians in upstate New York give to their colleagues in the schools. "Place a warning label on biased material: WARNING: IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THESE MATERIALS ARE SEX-STEREOTYPED AND MAY LIMIT YOUR SENSE OF FREEDOM AND CHOICE."

That's a hell of a turn for librarians to take -- labelling books as "bad" for readers. And who determined that those materials are "sex-stereotyped"? By what criteria?" Which novels by Faulkner, Dostoyevsky, and Mark Twain will have to be burned in the schoolyard? And what is this about limiting my sense of freedom and choice? Just who is doing that? Could it be these liberal librarians?

But let me show you what gets me maddest of all in this ceaseless abundance of liberal hypocrisy. A political science professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites to his class one of South Africa's representatives to the United Nations. The professor wants his students to hear and to test the real thing -- a true believer in apartheid. The professor figures they'd learn more from an exchange with someone in the racist South African government than from simply reading about that government.

The South African was never able to say a word to the class. An integrated mob of fifty students made it impossible for the rest of the 150 students in the auditorium to hear the visitor. They so yelled and screamed that the South African had no choice but to leave. The students who had been waiting to ask him some very sharp questions about his government had been silenced just as effectively as had the South African. As the South African left the campus, a student yelled, "Let the story go out that students would not allow a racist to speak on this campus!"

That's the only part of the story that got out. The rest of it was that some American students, like the government of South Africa, do not permit views to be heard that are contrary to their own. But I'm sure the students who prevented the South African from speaking consider themselves to be authentic liberals.

There's a term -- "liberal" -- that used to have some integrity to it. Increasingly, though, liberals lust to censor just as fervently as reactionaries. And just like reactionaries, liberals deny that's what they're doing.

Mr Hentoff was never anyone's idea of a conservative, let alone a right-winger. His rant shows that the hypocrisy of the liberal elites was known, even if not admitted, within their own ranks. Well said, sir! In my next post, I'll let you know what happened to NOW, the Eagle Forum, The Progressive, and Feminists for Life of America. Stay tuned.

UPDATED: The point of "I've got a little list..."

NOTE FROM ED., posted 16/4/21. A reader, Ben Tobox of Bowlegs OK (you can look it up), didn't get the point of our reposting of the People's Cube's  list of people that the Antifa and other extreme liberal types would like to censor, since they can't actually execute them.

I encourage you, Ben, and all our readers, to read the list, name by name. There may be some names you don't recognize, just as Walt didn't know the name of Thomas Sowell until recently. If you find such a name, like John Kennedy (for instance), Google him/her and see what you can find. Maybe you'll find a blog with some worthwhile reading.

Or search the name on YouTube and find a video like this one, in which Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) tries to find out what "systemic racism" means. Keep your eyes, ears and minds open. That's the point.

In the Gilbert & Sullivan operetta The Mikado, the Lord High Executioner sings "I've got a little list", a patter song of those who could be executed "and surely won't be missed." That's what they did in medieval Japan. In today's Excited States of America, we don't execute those we are afraid of. We just impeach them!

Whether you intend to execute your enemies or just "cancel" them by censorship (sometimes known as "fact-checking") or impeachment, you need a list -- a fecal roster -- right?

The People's Cube has started one, to which all progressive liberal socialist Dumbocrats are encouraged to contribute. If you're on the right side [Geddit? Ed.],  you might want to check to see if you name is on the SJW/BLM/Antifa list.

Executive Purge Nominees

Trump-Hitler (already in progress), Bush-Hitler (just to close the loop), George H. W. Bush (exhume because he only served one term), Gerald Ford (exhume so SNL can get some funny jokes), Mike Pence, all members of Trump’s family (looking at you, Barron).

Hope Hicks, Kayleigh McEnany, and all of Newsmax's 30 Most Influential Republicans Under 30, Mike Lindell. Sarah Palin, Michelle Malkin, Jim DeMint, Michele Bachmann, Ron DeSantis, Kristi Noem, Greg Abbott, Tommy Tuberville, Tom Cotton, Marco Rubio.

Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Ben Carson, Rick Santorum, John Kennedy, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Nikki Haley, Ted Nugent, Allen West, Marsha Blackburn, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Steve Bannon, Ann Coulter... to be continued....

If you're not there, you can go to the People's Cube page and add yourself. Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!
