Just like the Holiday Inn

Turns out that South Carolina is not like Pennsylvania or Arizona. Truckloads of ballots did not arrive in the middle of the night to enable Nikki Haley to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. [Did you make that up? Ed.]

The lickspittle media raced to be the first to declare a result, with ABC the winner, calling Trump the winner at approximately 7:00:09 EST. Here are the final numbers.

President Trump: 451,905 votes (59.8%), winning all 44 delegates to the GOP convention

Nikki Haley: 298,681 (39.5%), winning NO delegates

Ron DeSantis: 2951 votes (0.4%)

Vivek Ramaswamy: 728 votes (<0.1%).

So... no surprises, then. Just like the Holiday Inn. Walt notes two things.

First... the Republican Party belongs to President Trump, whether the RINOs and never-Trumpers (Hello, David Frum) like it or not. Whatever demographic or regional divisions may have existed in the past have been largely swept away. As proof of this, I offer the prospect of Senator Tim Scott being offered the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket.

Second... the Dumbocrats must now be seriiously considering showing President Brandon the exit door, while there is still time [about a minute and a half. Ed.] to find another candidate for the presidensity.

Some Dems are putting on a brave face, saying Demented Joe is the only one who could beat the Orange Man, but the operative word there is "could"... not "will". If you're an independent voter and have to choose between two old white guys with health and legal issues, which one would you trust to pilot the ship of state through the stormy seas that lie ahead. [That's enough metaphors. Ed.]

That brings us back to "Waiting in the wings... or maybe just outside the window?", WWW 22/1/24. Mrs Barrack Hussein Obama would be a plausible candidate, but my guess is that she would only throw her do-rag in the ring once Brandon is tail-lights, and if Deep State has everything rigged so that she couldn't possibly lose.

Ms Haley vows to go on to Michigan and Super Tuesday. Whether or not she is able to find the support -- especially financial support -- necessary to do so doesn't matter. She was effectively cooked -- fried -- last night. After Super Tuesday is when the Democratic long knives will come out. Stay tuned.

KBJ makes history! First non-biologist named to SCOTUS!

OK, I admit to "adapting" the headline from the one created by the very talented writers at the Babylon Bee. Their excellent post continues: The U.S. Senate has voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the highest court in the land, making her the first Supreme Court Justice to be confirmed without a degree in biology. 

"No, Ketanji Brown Jackson has no idea what a woman is, but that's understandable as she's not a biologist," said Romney. "I think she'll be fine, as the 8 biologists currently on the court will be able to get her up to speed. The important thing here is that she's black. And a woman." 

Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) was one of three RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) who voted to confirm the most important diversity hire since Kamela Harris. 

To Mitt's left is Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and to his farther left (geddit?) is Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). File this picture in your memory for reference when you next get to vote. They supported a judicial activist who think the United States Constitution is either mutable or does not apply in all cases.

The silver lining in the dark cloud (geddit?) is that the other cisgender "woman" of colour (albeit a lighter shade) whose name was mooted for the position on the highest court in the land*, Kamela Harris, remains in her position, which (they say) is Vice-President to Dementia Joe Brandon.

That's OK though. America has been advanced by feckless Democratic men towards the goal of being fully feminized, diversified, inclusified... and totally emasculated.

* Footnote: The Supreme Court of the United States is not, in fact, the highest court in America. Its elevation above sea level is only 95 feet. You can look it up.

Dumbocrats seek to bar President Trump from burial at Arlington

Reconciliation? Bringing a divided nation back together? The Democrats have no interest in healing America. Their single-minded goal is revenge on the 45th President of the US of A for having defeated the anointed one, Hellery Clinton, in 2016. 

Their quest for retribution began on the day President Trump was inaugurated, culminating in not one, but two impeachments by the House of Representatives, one of which was pursued even after Citizen Trump had ceased to be President.

What's really important to the Democrat anti-Trumpers (and RINOs who support and enable them), is that, although he was ultimately acquitted both times, Mr Trump was impeached twice. According to H.R. 484, a bill introduced in the House of Reprosentatives in late January, that's enough to disqualify him from burial in Arlington National Cemetery!

Of course the gutless lefties don't have the courage to call H.R. 484 "The Punish Trump Forever Act", or anything like that. Nooo... It has been dubbed the "No Glory for Hate Act". It would "prohibit the use of Federal funds for the commemoration of certain former Presidents," namely those who have faced impeachment proceedings from the House on two separate occasions.

The bill would also restrict the use of government funding to "create or display any symbol, monument, or statue commemorating" a twice-impeached president, and it would bar the naming or redesignation of any federal building or land after Commanders-In-Chief in question.

Let's see now... Which American Presidents have been impeached twice? It would seem that the bill would apply only to President Trump. Quelle surprise! To Walt, H.R. 484 looks like this.
