Walt didn't spend a lot of time this weekend thinking, let alone worrying about the latest examples of the Islamization of Europe and the revolt of white Christians against it. But I won't leave you without a quick summary of what happened, since WWW may be the only place where you'll see the truth.

The death toll from the Strasbourg Christmas market shooting rose to five -- six if you count the Islamic terrorist, Cherif Chekatt, who was shot dead by French police after a two-day manhunt which led to his discovery not far from the scene of the atrocity. In an interview with state-run broadcaster France-2, the Algerian man's father said his son subscribed to the beliefs of the Islamic State (ISIS). Abdelkrim Chekatt said he tried to talk his son out of doing anything, but kids, what're ya gonna do...

Meanwhile, police in Paris said they were optimistic that the gilets jaunes (= yellow vests) protests were waning, since only 5000 or so demonstrators turned out for the festivities on Saturday. Police used water cannon, batons and tear gas to deal with the demonstrators. 168 people were arrested on Saturday alone. One was not arrested because he was dead.

Ahead of more protests expected the weekend before Christmas, French security forces are preparing to smother the centre of Paris with a "last resort" chemical weapon -- a debilitating powder which can be spread across an area the size of six football fields in just ten seconds. That Emperor Macron the First [and last! Ed.] is contemplating chemical warfare against its own citizens highlights the increasing desperation of his government as it faces up to a law and order crisis which is rapidly turning into a rightist revolution.

Meanwhile (again) yellow vests protests intensified in the Netherlands and Belgium. In Brussels, over 5000 of sprouts wearing the iconic apparel were met with water cannon and tear gas as they marched against the UN migration pact signed last week in Marrakech, which they fear could lead to an increase in immigration. (Duh!). The rightist N-VA party, the largest member of Belgium's ruling coalition, left the Belgian government last Sunday in protest against the prime minister's decision to sign the agreement.

The president of the youth wing of the Flemish nationalist party, Vlaams Belang, told the meeja that people should have been consulted before Belgium signed up to the deal. "It's been approved apparently, but the opinion of the people was never asked." A spokesthingy for the nationalist youth organisation Schild en Vrienden, said the protesters wanted to "raise our voice against the Marrakech pact. We think the decision was not made in a democratic way, with a minority in government and a minority of the Belgian people," he said. "That's what we are protesting against."

For those who don't read Flemish, the signs the protesters are carrying read "First OUR people". Nice sentiment, that.

Footnote: Even in Toronto, the poster city for the benefits of multiculturalism, Canucks weary of diversity are starting to raise their voices against unprecedented levels of immigration. A couple of hundred yellow-vested protesters got together in front of city hall for a scuffle with a like number, also clad in yellow vests, who turned up to support the migration pact, which Junior Trudeau has approved on behalf of sheeplike Canadians. As reported here on December 8th, similar protests were held earlier this month in Calgary and Edmonton, but the opinions of red-neck westerners don't count with Mr Socks.

"Yellow vest" protests spread to Belgium, Netherlands... even Canada!

As is well known, the dream of every Frenchman [and Frenchwoman! Ed.] is to pay no taxes. Thus the plan of the government of Emmanuel Macron to raise the tax on fuel sparked a wave of protests which started a month ago and continued today in Paris and other French cities. The protesters have adopted dayglo yellow safety jackets as their uniform. Today some 125,000 "gilets jaunes" (= yellow vests) took to the streets to rally against the fuel tax, the high cost of living, and... wait for it... Emperor [President, shurely! Ed.] Macron himself. Here's a video clip.



In Paris today, 1000s of police used armored vehicles, tear gas and water cannons to "contain" demonstrators numbering over 10,000, by the estimate of the Ministry of the Interior. Some protesters set fire to cars and smashed windows. Interior Minister Christophe Castaner said 1385 people had been arrested across the country. 17 law enforcement officers and just over 100 protesters suffered injuries.

Is this really just about having to pay a few cents more in taxes on gasoline? Mais non! The protests took place despite the government announcement on Wednesday that the fuel tax hike would be "suspended until furter notice". (Governments never admit they made a mistake, eh.) The demonstrators who turned out today broadened their list of grievances to include high living costs and economic reforms proposed by M Macron, which are seen to benefit business rather than workers.

And then there's the little matter of immigration, and how much more Islamization France can take before ceasing to be France. The big picture is that the majority of French citizens are sick, sore and tired of being governed by liberal elitist one-worlders. Speaking after today's protests had ended, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said the time had come for a dialogue "to knit our national unity back together." He added that the Emperor [President! I won't tell you again! Ed.] would address the protests and their grievances "next week."

Readers in other countries may be thinking, "Hey, we have problems with our government too! When are we gonna get up on our hind feet? If the cheese-eating surrender monkeys can do it, we can too!" And so it has come to pass. The yellow vest movement has now spread across the globe. There were protests today in Belgium, France and... wait for it... even peaceful and polite Canada!

In the western Canadian province of Alberta, which holds oil in even higher regard than do Texans, there is huge resentment over the plans of the federal government (Junior Trudeau, Prop.) and the socialist provincial government to impose a carbon tax, in the interests of saving the world from climate change of course. There's also the anti-immigrant sentiment which Albertans share with their fellow citizens from coast to coast to coast.

Yellow vest protesters braved the sub-zero weather in Edmonton and Calgary today to let their governments know what they think about these insane liberal policies. (Not that their governments give a shit, of course.) The protests were free from physical violence, but the demonstrators spoke pretty plainly (for Canadians).

In Calgary, Allison Prentice told the CBC, "We are Canadian, we're not anywhere close to that kind of radical. I'm proud to be here and represent people who care about Canadians first." Others chanted "No Trudeau. No Trudeau!" outside of city hall. Some yelled "String him up!" Others yelled "traitor." Through a megaphone, one speaker said, "They hate our country and they hate our way of life," without specifying who "they" are. He didn't have to. Canadians know who their enemies are. Do you?

"Allahu akbar!" in Belgium (again) - 3 killed in Liège

I saw an article somewhere yesterday -- forgot to make a note of the URL -- that said militant Muslims had killed over 300 other Muslims since the beginning of Ramadan, in shithole countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, etc etc ad nauseam. Fine. Let the Muslim civil war continue. But when it spills over into Europe or North America, that's another matter.

The latest chapter in the Islamist jihad against us infidels played out in Liège, Belgium, today as two cops and a civilian were shot dead by someone shouting... wait for it... "Allahu akbar!" ("God is great!" in Arabic). The shooting unfolded near a café in the city centre. The man followed and attacked police with a knife, before taking a gun from them and opening fire. He also shot dead a man who was sitting in the passenger seat of a passing car. Then he fled to a nearby school, where he took a female cleaner hostage before being killed by police. Two other police officers were also injured.

In spite of eye-witness reports of the bearded assassin shouting "Allahu akbar!", Inspector Hercules Poirot of the Belgian police said the murderer's motive is "not yet clear". When asked about the report that the attack was terror-related, city hall spokesthingy Michel Firket told AP, "I know nothing formal about that. The police is doing its investigation. There are no formal conclusions."

However, RTBF, the Belgian state broadcaster, said the gunman may have been radicalized while he was in prison, where he was serving time on drug offences before being let out on temporary release just yesterday.

That's what happens when you open the gates of your homeland to people (?) bent on exterminating you. Liège today, your town tomorrow? Don't say you weren't warned.

VIDEO: Vote NO MA'AM!

There's a lesson for American voters in the current brouhaha between Canada and the EU over free trade. A couple of years ago, when Canada was under the dictatorship of Steve Harpoon, the Dear Leader drank the koolaid of globalization and started work on making a free trade deal with the European Union. The Canada-Europe Trade Agreement (CETA) was worked out, and endorsed by the Gliberal government of Justin Trudeau, which took power a year ago. Open trade and open borders are the kind of thing liberals love, and CETA fits their one-world agenda perfectly.

Fast forward to October of 2016, when CETA is due to be ratified by the member states of the EU, all 28 of them. 27 countries fell into line without any fuss. And then there was Belgium. That country is divided more or less in half by language and ethnicity. The southern half, Wallonia, is home to French-speaking Walloons. (Gotta love that name.) The Walloons, it turns out, think increasing globalization is not a good idea. Gives too much power to multinationals, you see. The parliament of Wallonia passed a resolution against CETA last Friday, so Belgium's federal government is unable to give its consent.

Enter Canada's International Trade Minister, Chrystia Freeland, who was sent to Brussels to tweak the deal a little bit and so persuade the stubborn Walloons to change their minds. As Walt pointed out in April, Ms Freeland is a certified and certifiable member of the liberal elite. She is the spoiled child of privilege, the type who feels she is entitled to her entitlements, such as spending $6000 of taxpayers' money to hire a photographer to record her presence at a trade summit in Paris, or swanning around the world -- first class, of course -- preaching the benefits of globalization, free trade agreements and helping all the poor people of the Third World.

When the Walloons failed to succumb to Ms Freeland's charm (?) offensive, she threw a hissy fit, storming out of the meeting room to tell the meeja "These people are impossible! I'm going home to my children!" Well, at least she didn't call the Walloons "deplorable", but she's the sort of liberal feminist who might have used that word. Just like... you know who!

Walt asks the MEN of America, do you want to be ruled for the next four years by the gender warriors --  WIMMIN like (((Madeleine Albright))), Elizabeth Warren, Justice (((Ruth Bader Ginsburg))) and... you know who?! NO?! Better join NO MA'AM -- the National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood. When the existence of this organization was revealed on Married With Children (watch the video below), you probably thought it was just a joke. It's no joke now! Vote accordingly!

Another prelate disagrees with Pope, says Muslims trying to conquer us

Pope Francis keeps talking through his beanie [Ed., what's the proper term for that little white hat?] or some other place, insisting that the attacks of Islamic terrorists being felt on virtually every continent have noting to do with the Muslim jihad -- religious war -- against Christianity and western civilization. The fact is that the Muslims intend to destroy the West.

They can't do it by force of arms in a conventional war, perhaps because they's too busy shooting at each other. So they resort to terrorist attacks on innocent civilians, hoping to make us so paranoid that we will start fighting with each other, like rats in a cage. In that they are having some success, as any traveller or would-be traveller knows. Who'd have thought that we'd see the streets of London patrolled by militarized police -- I'm scared to call them "Boobies" [watch your spelling. Ed.] any more -- clothed in bullet-proof vests and armed with assault rifles. I'd be afraid to ask one of those guys for directions!

If terrorism won't make us cower in our basements -- some folks in Europe, at least, are standing up and fighting back -- the ultimate Muslim weapon is immigration! Even German chancellor Angela Merkel, the proponent of "Willkommenskultur", as been forced to admit that the perps of recent atrocities in Germany were Muslims, with born in Germany but somehow "self-radicalized", or among the 1000s who flooded into the Fatherland disguised as "refugees" and "asylum-seekers". Same as the fanatics who killed dozens in France and Belgium.

And yet, and yet... leaders like Geert Wilders, Marion Le Pen, and (yes) Donald Trump, who call for controlling borders and resisting further immigration to our countries, are reviled as racists, Islamophobes, fascists, and so on. To my mind, they are not racists but realists! If we don't keep the Muslims out of our countries, and deport those who are already here illegally, they're going to kill us! They say so themselves...

The latest member of the Roman Catholic hierarchy to take issue with Pope Francis's assertion that the war on the West is not about religion -- see "Sorry, Holy Father, the war IS about religion", WWW 30/7/16 -- Most Rev. Gyula Márfi, Archbishop of Veszprém (Hungary) said in an interview that a desire to conquer Europe is a factor in mass Muslim migration to the continent.

"Jihad is a principle for Muslims that means they must expand," he told Il Timone today. "The earth must become dar al-Islam, that is, Islamic territory, by introducing Shariah -- Islamic law." He added that "Migration does not only have causes, it also has a purpose, such as the destabilization of Europe and the Euro. Just because we love the wolves, as God’s creatures, doesn’t mean we let them enter among the sheep, even if they come in sheep’s clothing." [Walt's emphasis.]

Dutch Freedom Party leader speaks out on Brussels attacks

The Dutch -- or their government, at least -- are known for their liberal views on everything that matters: drugs, sex, religion and race. To prove their political correctness and love of all mankind, they keep prosecuting Geert Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom (PVV), for saying what the majority of his countrymen think, namely that it would be good if there were fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands.

Five years ago, Mr Wilders was acquitted of charges of making Islamophobic remarks. Last month he was put on trial again for allegedly inciting hatred against the Netherlands' Moroccan minority. His case came up as calls for a ban on Muslim immigration have been voiced in other countries, such as France (by Marine Le Pen) and even the USA (by Donald Trump).

What did Mr Wilders say this time to bring the wrath of the PC police down on his head? Dutch prosecutors say that in March 2014 he asked a crowd of supporters whether they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. No prizes for guessing that they replied by chanting "Fewer! Fewer! Fewer!", to which Mr Wilders responded, "We'll take care of that."

In addition to the "fewer" comment, Mr Wilders referred to Moroccans as "scum" in a television broadcast. The result? One charge of "discrimination" and a second of inciting hatred of Moroccans, who make up about 2% of the Netherlands 17 million population. If convicted he could go to jail for as long as a year and could be fined a maximum of 7400 euros ($8400 in real money). Walt is pleased to present an artist's concept of what the sentencing hearing could be like.

As noted, the "demonization" of "Moroccans" -- read "Muslims" -- of which Mr Wilders stands accused happened two years ago. More recently (i.e. in March 2016), some terrorists who happen to be (or have been) Muslims of, errr, North African descent, killed some three dozen Belgians in suicide bombings in Brussels. The attackers are believed to have lived in that city's Molenbeek neighbourhood. Belgian police said at least 90 returned ISIS fighters were living there.

The morning after the bombings, Geert Wilders took part in a panel discussion on Breitbart Radio (London), warning that the attack is just the beginning of growing Islamist violence. European Commission insider Hermann Kelly told Breitbart Radio he was concerned that so many Islamic extremists live just miles from the political capital of the European Union. "This is amazing to me," he said, "that these people can kill people abroad, come here, and then walk free in the centre of Brussels."

Mr Wilders then said, “Returned Syria fighters are a huge threat. They are dangerous predators roaming our streets. It is absolutely unbelievable that our governments allow them to return. And it is incredible that, once returned, they are not imprisoned. In the Netherlands, we have dozens of these returned jihadists. Our
government allows most of them to freely walk our streets and refuses to lock them up. I demand that they be detained at once. Every government in the West, which refuses to do so, is a moral accessory if one of these monsters commits an atrocity."

Whether any further prosecutions will ensue is uncertain.

Turkish President Erdoğan predicted Brussels bombings last Friday!

The first thing Walt does when he stumbles out of bed is fire up the old rangdidio to catch up on the news of overnight disasters. The site of today's catastrophe is Brussels, the capital of Belgium, which is in virtual lockdown after explosions rocked the airport and subway system. The death toll at last count was 26, with many more injured.

According to the public transport operator, 15 people were killed and 81 injured in a blast at Maelbeek metro station. The Belgian health minister said 11 people died in two explosions at the Zaventem airport just outside Brussels. The number of killed may yet rise, as earlier reports put the airport death toll at 13.

As yet, no-one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, and no-one has said it was Muslim jihadists that did it. But Belgium's federal prosecutor said that at least one of the explosions at the airport was likely caused by a suicide bomber. He earlier described the explosions as terror attacks. And Reuters reported that a witness said he heard shouts in Arabic shortly before two blasts struck the packed airport departures area. Walt is offering 99 to 1 odds (place your bets by PayPal) that the attackers were followers of the prophet.

Hold on... Perhaps it's not fair for me to take your money. I had a tipoff from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan! This past Friday Mr. Erdoğan gave a speech at a ceremony to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli, in which he warned European countries about terrorist organizations. Here's what he said. "Once again I call on countries that directly or indirectly support terror groups. The snakes you are sleeping with can bite you any time. European countries are paying no attention as if they are dancing in a minefield. There is no reason why the bomb that exploded in Ankara cannot explode in Brussels, in any other European city."

Sadly, it's not just European leaders who are paying no attention. The "Leader of the Free World" [Who dat? Ed.] pays no attention. POTUS's would-be successor -- Hellery Clinton -- pays no attention. The Canuck celebrity who thinks he's the up-and-coming champion of progressivism -- Justin Trudeau -- pays no attention. And when someone like Donald Trump says folks like Mr. Erdoğan and Marine Le Pen (see yesterday's post) are right, and we should keep the Muslims out, they call him a racist. There are none so deaf as those who will not hear!

Fear-mongering about Islam? Who? Walt?

Sunday's post "'Belgistan' - a vision of our future" brought a scathing comment (via Agent 17) from a gentleman who resides in, errr, Belgium. The CBN video, the gentleman says, is bovine excrement, at least as regards the numbers of Muslims in "Belgistan".

Walt has never found CBN any less accurate than, say, Fox News, so didn't ask Ed. to do a fact check. For the record, what I heard was that Muslims represent about 25% of the population of Brussels, and a smaller minority nation-wide. Whether they are 49%, 4.9% or 0.49% of Belgium's population seems to me beside the point. The point is this. Given that Muslims are breeding like little fez-wearing rabbits, and Christian Belgians aren't managing even the replacement rate, the Muslims will eventually be the majority.

Just by coincidence, the same point was made at the Vatican on Saturday, when Peter Cardinal Turkson, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, showed the Synod of Bishops a video that Vatican Radio described as a "fear-mongering presentation of statistics attempting to show how Islam is conquering Europe and the rest of the world".

The video emphasized the high birth rates among Muslims in Europe, in contrast with the falling fertility of native Europeans, and concluded that the continent would soon be predominantly Islamic. Was it the same video as the one referred to here? As the Synod meets in camera, we don't know. Was the point the same? Definitely!

Catholic World News quotes Vatican Radio as saying, "Why one of the Curial cardinals chose to show this piece of anti-Islamic propaganda is quite unclear." But, it said, the dramatic presentation did give rise to some energetic discussions, with some bishops criticizing the video while others chose to emphasize the need for more effective evangelization among the people of formerly Christian Europe.

Footnote: Cardinal Turkson is Ghanaian, so let's hold fire, please, on the usual charges of Catholic European racism.

"Belgistan" - a vision of our future

Look around you. See a few women in burqas? Some more wearing the hijab? But they're still a minority...right? In your city, at least. But not in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Now the Muslims are the majority in that major European city, and are already subjecting it to Islamization and Sharia law. Some British cities -- Leeds and Bradford, for example -- are much the same.

For Europe, it's already too late. What about North America? Americans! Canadians! Wake up! If you continue electing politicians who bend over for the immigrant vote, and refuse to slam the doors on all the Muslim "refugees" from the Middle East, here's what's in store for you. Don't say Walt didn't warn you.
