Further to "Did you 'celebrate the power' today?", posted here just yesterday... More than one of our readers has congratulated us for resisting the cheap joke by not substituting, for the "the" in the headline, a two-syllable word which can refer to a cat or to the female pudendum.
We admit to shyness about using said word. After all, this is a family publication! Besides, we are not "male feminists", like Just In Trudeau, the former Governor of Canuckistan. Apparently feminists like to not only use the p-word but to shout it from the rooftops. One such is Michigan House candidate Shelby Campbell. Here's an actual video of Ms Campbell, posted on Libs of TikTok and reposted on Blazing Cat Fur.
We've only seen this clip, and hope there's not more. Kinda makes you want to run right out to the voting booth, doesn't it? Ms Campbell is a Democrat, running in Detroit's District 13.
If you go north from Detroit on US 24, passing through the majority-Arab city of Dearborn as quickly as you can, you will come after a few minutes to a nicer place, just off to the west, called West Bloomfield Township. Being a cleaner, more prosperous exurb, it has a population of Jews large enough to support a nice temple called Temple Israel -- the largest Reform temple in America.
There, yesterday, while more than 100 children were going to school, someone drove a pickup truck "purposefully" into the synagogue, where he exchanged gunfire with security guards, and was shot dead.
30 police officers were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation as the synagogue became engulfed in flames from the truck. One security guard is being treated at hospital for injuries and is expected to recover. The school's 140 students, staff, and teachers have all been accounted for and are safe.
Jennifer Runyan, the DEI special agent in charge at the FBI's Detroit Field Office, told the meeja "We are leading the investigation right now as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community." Strangely, though, Ms Runyan would say nothing about the dead suspect's identity, ethnicity or religion other than "There is one subject involved in this incident, who is now deceased."
Why not tell us more? Because, she said, she had to "protect the integrity of this investigation." And to prevent the spread of Islamophobia, of course, although she didn't say that.
However, our suspicions were confirmed within hours when the Department of Homeland Security identified the suspect, as Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, 41, who was born in Lebanon. The late Mr Ghazali entered the United States on 10 May 2011. [How? Ed.] The DHS said he then married an American, obtained an immigrant visa and became an American citizen in 2016. That's all ye know and all ye need to know.
Do any of our readers watch Border Security? Regular viewers will know that a lot of the action takes place at the land borders between the Paranoid States of America and the Great No-longer-white North, specifically at the Peace Bridge to Buffalo NY, the Peace Arch near Blaine WA, and the Blue Water Bridge to Port Huron MI.
At those border crossings, US Customs and Border Protection officers are constantly on the lookout for unemployed frostbacks coming into the USA for work, and big rigs full of drugs. It's the latter that prompted President Trump to impose tough tariffs on Canada, to motivate the feckless Liberal government to do something to put a stop to it.
Who's driving all those drug-laden transports back and forth across the border? Very often it's "men from Brampton", the suburb of Toronto where Sikhs make up the majority of the population, thanks to the Liberals' wish to ensure the never-ending election of turban-winders.
Many of the many Sikhs driving erratically along the highways of Ontario, Michigan and New York are "temporary foreign students" at the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving, such as Karamveer Singh, not pictured at right.
On June 12th, the hapless Mr Singh got caught by the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency -- the counterpart of the CBP), which has been exerting itself lately to show President Trump that Canada will do its part to stem the flow of mind-altering substances across the border.
He was attempting to drive a commerical truck across the Blue Water Bridge through the point of entry at Point Edward ON, across the water from Port Huron MI. During the inspection of the trailer, border services officers, with the assistance of Detective Mcgruff, the drug-sniffing dog, discovered the items pictured below.
That's 161 bricks of "suspected" cocaine -- it's still being tested by the officers -- contained in 6 boxes. The total weight of the "suspected" narcotics was 411 lbs, with an estimated street value of C$23.3 million (about $169 million in real money).
The CBSA arrested Karamveer Singh, 27, of Brampton ON, and transferred him and the "suspected" narcotics to the custody of the Mounties. Mr Singh has been charged with Importation of Cocaine, and Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Nothing has been said about how he got into Canada. The investigation is ongoing, but don't bother staying tuned.
Footnote added at 1212: Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down several suspects after a man was shot dead at his Brampton workplace last week. He has since been identified as Sharnpreet Singh. The workplace is believed to be other than the Singh School of Truck Driving. Source: Global TV News, 25/6/25.
Thinking Democrats [Oxymoron of the Month. Ed.] know Joe's goose is cooked. It will be interesting to see how many of them mark their ballots for "uncommitted" in tomorrow's Michigan primary.
If you live in, say, Oscoda County MI, and wake up to see one of the trees in your yard looking like this
what would you do? What would you do?! Why, call the Oscoda County Gypsy Moth Program, of course. They are conveniently located at 311 Morenci Ave, in beautiful downtown Mio MI [pronounced My-O-My? Ed.] and will come and raid the disgusting gypsy moths, to kill `em dead!
If, however, you live a few hundred miles to the east, on the other side of the World's Longest Uncontrolled Border, at the west end of Lake Ontario, your search for help with pest control will be fruitless. Unless, that is, you say you have an infestation of "spongy moths". Not "gypsy moths".
Officially, there are no gypsy moths in the Canada of King Justin the Woke. No more "gypsies" either. The word "gypsy" is offensive to the Roma people [not to be confused with "Romans". Ed.], so the decades-old Toronto police "gypsy squad" has been disbanded, and the other parasites, pictured, have been renamed.
This week, the City of Hamilton ON and the nearby Royal Botanical Gardens started an aerial spray to reduce the population of spongy moths in areas that are out of control.
Spongy moths are an invasive species that feed on tree leaves and in some cases evergreen needles. They are controllable with a pesticide called BTK, which doesn’t fully remove the caterpillars, just regulates the population.
Private citizens can buy BTK at stores. Be sure to ask for it by name, so you don't get gypped buying an inferior product.
Anyone who argues that the swamp rigged the November 3rd election to steal it from Still-President Trump is dissed by the lamestream media as being a crank, nutbar, racist, Nazi yada yada yada. Even some Republicans and (true) conservatives who should know better have been forced to STFU. Other seemingly sensible people, including a few Dumbocrats, say that, yeah, there were "some incidents" of fraud or other "irregularity", but nothing serious enough to overturn the result.
Yet doubts -- reasonable doubts -- persist. Poll after poll shows that around half of respondents believe that something crooked was done, and don't believe that Sleepy Joe Biden won the presidensity fair and square.
Why do they think this? What happened on election night that would provoke suspicion? Here's a list of 9 strange things that occurred in the wee hours of November 4th and thereafter, compiled by Patrick Basham, director of the Democracy Institute.
1. Late on election night, with Trump comfortably ahead, many swing states stopped counting ballots. In most cases, observers were removed from the counting facilities. Counting generally continued without the observers. [Walt observed that's what happened in the 2008 election in Zimbabwe, which confirmed the re-election of dictator Comrade R.G. Mugabe.]
2. Statistically abnormal vote counts were the new normal when counting resumed. They were unusually large in size (hundreds of thousands) and had an unusually high (90 percent and above) Biden-to-Trump ratio.
3. Late arriving ballots were counted. In Pennsylvania, 23,000 absentee ballots have impossible postal return dates and another 86,000 have such extraordinary return dates they raise serious questions.
4. The failure to match signatures on mail-in ballots. The destruction of mail-in ballot envelopes, which must contain signatures.
5. Historically low absentee ballot rejection rates despite the massive expansion of mail voting. Such is Biden’s narrow margin that, as political analyst Robert Barnes observes, "If the states simply imposed the same absentee ballot rejection rate as recent cycles, then Trump wins the election."
6. Missing votes. In Delaware County, Pennsylvania, 50,000 votes held on 47 USB cards are missing.
7. Non-resident voters. Matt Braynard’s Voter Integrity Project estimates that 20,312 people who no longer met residency requirements cast ballots in Georgia. Biden’s margin is 12,670 votes.
8. Serious "chain of custody" breakdowns. Invalid residential addresses. Record numbers of dead people voting. Ballots in pristine condition without creases, that is, they had not been mailed in envelopes as required by law.
9. Statistical anomalies. In Georgia, Biden overtook Trump with 89 percent of the votes counted. For the next 53 batches of votes counted, Biden led Trump by the same exact 50.05 to 49.95 percent margin in every single batch.
At the end of Mr Basham's article in The Spectator, he writes: It is particularly perplexing that all statistical anomalies and tabulation abnormalities were in Biden’s favor. Whether the cause was simple human error or nefarious activity, or a combination, clearly something peculiar happened. If you think that only weirdos have legitimate concerns about these findings and claims, maybe the weirdness lies in you.
But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! Mr Basham didn't mention Michigan. Simone Gao posted this shocking video on her Zooming In channel on November 8th. Let's call this one Number 10.
How many more stories like this are there? Perhaps 1000s! Individually, perhaps, they only account for a few thousand fake votes. But add them up and you have enough to tip the election to the establishment's preferred candidate.
Doesn't it seem to you, dear reader, that the swearing-in of "President-elect" Biden should be put on hold until all the pieces of the fraud jigsaw puzzle can be put together? Let's see if SCOTUS will have the intestinal fortitude to call a halt, or at least a "pauses" to let the truth come out!

Here's the latest, in which Mr Balmakov discusses the possibility that Still-President Trump might invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807? What would happen if he did so? And is the Insurrection Act tantamount to Martial Law?

* The Supreme Court ruled that the federal government may remove illegal aliens from the 2020 Census count.
* Georgia is now conducting a state-wide signature audit of all mail-in votes.
* A hand recount in Michigan confirmed that Antrim county falsely reported their results on election night.
Looks as if, just when a lot of us were starting to accept the inevitability of a Biden-Harris presidensity -- don't kid yourself that Sleepy Joe is really going to be in charge! -- things are starting to get interesting again. Don't lose heart! And do stay tuned!
Some folks just won't give up... and a good thing too! The Supreme Court of the United States refused to hear the Texas challenge to the results of the rigged 2020 election, effectively ruling against the argument that states could not change the voting rules by executive order or judicial fiat. So much for Pennsylvania.
That brings us back to the question of whether Sleepy Joe Biden will be made 46th President of the Excited States of America as the result of massive, massive voter fraud in (at least) Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada and... wait for it... [Why wait? Ed.]... Georgia.
That's what Sidney Powell has been alleging for weeks now, and she has said for nearly as long that she has proof. She calls it the Kraken*.
Ms Powell's Kraken contains details of the forensic audit done in Michigan that proves systemic voter fraud occurred through the Dominion Voting System tabulation. It also has proof of at least 200,000 fraudulent votes cast nationwide.
But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! The Kraken contains official Georgia elections records that prove the Dominion Voting Systems program's "inability to repeatably duplicate creditable election results." In other words, official Georgia election canvassers could not rely on Dominion Voting Systems software to count the vote because it couldn't repeat the same vote totals twice. Here's part of Ms Powell's 42-page submission to SCOTUS.
15. The Interim Report shows multiple grave problems with the accuracy and vulnerability to hacking and evidence destruction of the Dominion Voting Systems (“Dominion”) machines used in Antrim County, Michigan. The report is relevant to each of the Related Cases because each of the states in question uses Dominion equipment. The Interim Report vindicates the lengthy opinion and order of Judge Amy Totenberg in Curling v. Raffensperger, 2020 WL 5994029 (N.D. Ga. 10/11/20), which found “extreme” and unacceptable security risks in the Dominion system. Compelling evidence and expert analyses show convincingly that the results of the Dominion system cannot be trusted and should not have been certified.
16. The findings in the Interim Report are consistent with the expert testimony provided by Mr. Ramsland regarding Dominion’s vote manipulation in the Petitioners’ November 25, 2020 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia (the “District Court”) (R 450; 2438), and with his testimony in the Related Cases. Mr. Ramsland concluded in the Georgia case that, for the State of Georgia, “at least 96,000 mail-in ballots were fraudulently cast,” and “136,098 ballots were illegally counted as result of improper manipulation of the Dominion software,” id., each of which is several times larger than former VicePresident [sic] Biden’s margin of victory in Georgia (10,457 votes). Similar anomalies exist in the Related Cases. Among other things, the Complaints in the trial courts and the Petitions to this Court in each of the Related Cases all seek prospective injunctive relief requiring a similar forensic audit of Dominion voting machines.
17. The Coffee County, Georgia Board of Registration and Elections refused to certify the machine recount election returns on their Dominion systems “given its inability to repeatably duplicate creditable election results.”6 The results of the machine recount report were internally inconsistent and could not be reconciled and were inconsistent with both the election night count and the hand audit.7 The Coffee County BRE analysis confirms the findings of the Interim Report, cited above, that ballots going to adjudication can be changed on a wholesale basis by the operator with no oversight, controls or accountability, an extremely serious vulnerability.
Any scientist will tell you that the results of any test or experiment must be replicable to be credible. The same applies... or should apply... to the counting of votes in the most important presidential election since the Civil War. Let's hear SCOTUS disagree with that one!
Trivial footnote from Ed.: The kraken is a legendary sea monster of gigantic size and cephalopod-like appearance in Scandinavian folklore. According to the Norse sagas, the kraken dwells off the coasts of Norway and Greenland and terrorizes nearby sailors by its sheer size and fearsome appearance. "Kraken" also happens to be the name of the new Seattle franchise in the National Hockey League. And that explains the image. Got it?
Seems like an eternity, doesn't it? A month ago this morning, Americans woke up to find that President Trump, who appeared on the night of November 3rd to be on the path to re-election, had, while they slept, somehow been "unre-elected".
So said the anti-Trump lamestream media, led by Associated Press, ABC, and even (gasp!) Fox News. During the night, they asked us to believe, crates of mail-in ballots, absentee ballots and provisional ballots had appeared in places like DeKalb Co. GA, Maricopa Co. AZ, Detroit and (of course) Philthydelphia. And... strangely believe it... those votes favoured Sleepy Joe Biden by margins of roughly 99 to 1!
Whoda thunk it? Around 0230 EST, Mr Biden emerged from his basement to say that he was about to get into the getaway car. President Trump issued a statement saying that he had won the election, but the political pundits (read: propagandists) immediately said "Don't believe him! All the votes haven't been counted yet! Wait until we've printed some more ballots!"
The month since then has been characterized by further counts, recounts and rerecounts, umpteen lawsuits and bitter acrimony. Earlier this week Still-President Trump spoke from the White House to update the nation on what's been happening. Here, in case you missed it, is what he called "the most important speech I ever gave."
The controlled media buried this speech, and reports of the latest developments in the contest over who really won, "below the fold". And now they've gone silent. So has "President-elect" Biden. Apart from announcing a few appointments (including the composition of his all-girl communications team), Sleepy Joe hasn't said anything, nor has he appeared in public.
Why have they all gone quiet, all of a sudden? Could it be that they're afraid they didn't make a clean getaway? New evidence of fraud emerges every day. The election ain't over yet!

In yesterday's update to the continuing drama of the attempted theft of the November 3rd presidential election, Walt wondered what happened in the office of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers after the lights went out. Now we know!
Last night the two Republican members of the board swore affidavits saying they were bullied and coerced into certifying the election. They had voted against certification on Tuesday, but changed their minds in a darkened room Tuesday night. It was then annoounced that the vote to certify the results was unanimous.
Townhall reports Board chair Monica Palmer and GOP member William Hartmann swore that the county's corporate counsel, Janet Anderson-Davis, advised board members that their job was "ministerial" and any concerns they expressed were outside of the board's authority.
In her affidavit, Ms Palmer swore that "After the vote, public comment period began and dozens of people made personal remarks against me and Mr. Hartmann. The comments made accusations of racism and threatened me and members of my family. The public comment continued for over two hours and I felt pressured to continue the meeting without a break."
Mr Hartmann, for his part, swore that "Late in the evening, I was enticed to agree to certify based on the promise that a full and independent audit would take place. I would have not have agreed to the certification but for the promise of an audit. Vice-Chairman Jonathan Kinloch then assured us that if we voted to certify the election, a full, independent, and complete audit of Detroit's election, would be undertaken. I relied on this assurance in coming to an agreement. Without this assurance, I would not have agreed to certify Wayne County on November 17th."

Cazart! Cracks are starting to appear in the "sure it was a fair election" stonewall. Officials in Wayne County MI - home to the city of Detroit, in whose cemeteries reside 1000s of voters -- have refused to certify the results of the November 3rd election.
In a vote along party lines, the Board of Canvassers deadlocked 2-2, which means the certification process cannot go forward.
Just The News says that the decision (or lack thereof) "injects new drama into a legal fight waged by President Trump's campaign in several battleground states."
Both Republican members of the Board refused to certify the results after discrepancies were discovered in absentee ballot poll books. Similar problems were discovered in the county's summer primary and the November 2016 election but did not affect the board's vote then. But to have this happen three times? It's either incompetence or -- dare we name it? -- fraud!
The dramatic deadlock came just a week after a city of Detroit elections worker named Jessy Jacob submitted an affidavit saying she personally witnessed and was instructed by supervisors to backdate absentee ballots the day after the election to make votes look like they had arrived on or before November 3rd. Jacob testified she believed thousands of ballots had been altered.
Under Michigan law, a county that fails to canvass within 14 days after the election must yield its documentation to the Secretary of State's office and Board of State Canvassers to determine if the results should be accepted. If the state board follows suit, the Republican state legislature will select the electors. So stay tuned. The fat lady hasn't sung yet!
UPDATE ADDED 18/11/20: Bad news, campers. Late last night, when we were all in bed, the Republican canvassers flipped and voted with the Democrats, while the live video stream was down.
The Detroit News reported that "After hours of angry responses from Wayne County residents, the change in course was approved by the two Republican and two Democratic canvassers with the demand that the Secretary of State's office conduct a 'comprehensive audit' of precincts with unexplained out-of-balance tallies."
It is not clear if the approval was conditional on the "comprehensive audit", or if the investigation was merely requested. Also unclear is what happened after the lights went out. In Motown, strange things happen in the dark.

Breitbart News reports that Attorney General William Barr yesterday authorized the Justice Department (DOJ) to look into voting irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. Mr Barr's memo (which you can read in the Breitbart article) was addressed to US Attorneys, the assistant attorneys general for the DOJ's criminal division, civil rights division, the national security division, and Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI.
"Now that the voting has concluded," the memo said (in part), "it is imperative that the American people can trust that our elections were conducted in such a way that the outcomes accurately reflect the will of the voters."
Mr Barr's action comes after 39 House Republicans pressed him in a letter on Friday to allow available DOJ resources to look into allegations of voting irregularities across the country in several key battleground states. The Trump campaign has filed lawsuits in some of those states. Constantino and McCall v. City of Detroit and Detroit Election Commission et al is one of those suits. Stay tuned.
A U.S. postal worker has been arrested at the Peace Bridge with more than 800 pieces of mail — including several absentee ballots for the American election.
"This office is committed not only to ensuring the integrity of the mails, but also of individuals’ rights to vote in a free and fair election," said U.S. Attorney General James Kennedy. "The criminal conduct with which this defendant is alleged to have engaged, undermined both of those interests."
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Peace Bridge [which connects Buffalo NY and Fort Drearie ON] questioned a motorist Nov. 3 — the same day as the U.S. election — and referred him for an inspection.
Officers discovered a United States Postal Service mail bin in his trunk. The bin contained numerous pieces of mail, postal service uniform items and the driver’s USPS identification badge.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the man initially claimed the mail belonged to him and his mother. However, he could not account for additional names printed on the mail.
He subsequently told officers he intended to deliver the mail, but had forgotten to return the items to the post office.
An inventory of the mail revealed three absentee ballots and 106 political mailings. Cancellation dates on the mail was between Sept. 16 and Oct. 26.
Charged by with delay or destruction of mail is Brandon Wilson, 27, of Buffalo.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Sleepy Joe Biden's handlers say that "there is no evidence" of fraud in connection with the mail-in ballots, which Walt says means "They haven't caught us yet!" How many more cases are there of the mail-in ballots being tampered with, not delivered, or coming from the Big Barrel of Biden Votes which the Dumbocrats kept in reserve in case the day-of count went against them.
You think there's no such thing as the BBBV? A report out of Michigan, which is so far unverified, says that in the wee hours of November 4th, just before dawn, a crate of 138,000 ballots was handed to election officials for counting. Of those, not a single one was for Still-President Trump, or for any third-party or write-in candidate. Nor was any ballot spoiled. All 138,000 were counted for Old Joe. A computer "glitch" perhaps? Ha! Seems to me the Dems are over-egging the pudding waaaay too much.
Earlier today we posted a report from Australia's Sky TV in which the analysts predict Still-President Donald Trump could win Pennsylvania, because "Black Looters Matter". Readers who follow American politics [That would be everybody, this week! Ed.] will recall that Mr Trump won the Keystone State along with Wisconsin, Ohio, and Florida, to become the 45th President of the Excited States of America.
What's that you say? There was another swing state that was important in the Trump victory? Ah yes. Michigan. Michael Moore predicted four years ago that the voters of his home state and the other Rust Belt states would send Donald Trump to the White House, and he has said the same thing, again, recently.
As recently as this morning, in fact, in an appearance on The Hill's Rising with Krystal & Saagar. In this short clip, he warns (?) Americans that polls showing Sleepy Joe Biden with a lead over Still-President Trump could be very wrong.
Mr Moore's stated intent (not included in this clip) is to warn those who want to defeat the President not to be complacent, to be sure to get out and vote. His unstated intent -- I'm speculating here -- is to make us Trump supporters complacent, confident that the polls are wrong again and The Donald is going to pull off another political miracle.
Don't bite, dear reader. As Michael Matt says (see "Featured Post" at right), "Go Trump or go lockdown!" If you haven't voted yet, go in person (preferred over trusting the USPS) to the polling place on November 3rd and do the right thing!
In St. John's MI, about 20 miles north of the capital of the Karen State, there is a charming bed and breakfast called the Nordic Pineapple. Kind of a strange name, informed perhaps by the owners' (Greg and Kjersten Offenbecker) being Norwegian-American -- kind of like those Nordic types Garrison Keillor used to talk about on Prairie Home Companion. [Whatever happened to that show? Ed.] For more on those fun-loving Norskes, see Scandinavian Humor & Other Myths, by John Louis Anderson (Nordbooks 1986).
According to Mr Keillor, Norwegians do have a sense of humour. They also have a sense of national or -- dare I say it -- ethnic pride, the kind of pride that makes them fly the Norwegian flag outside their homes, just as Italian-Americans fly the Italian flag and Japanese-Americans fly... well, maybe not.
Unfortunately for the Offenbeckers, the Norwegian flag, when hung on a pole at an angle to the upright, looks -- to those untrained in vexillology -- not unlike the Battle Flag of the Confederate States of America. And we all know what that means! Although they never received any direct threats, Greg and Kjersten were accused more than once of "promoting racism", a notion they find particularly hurtful, as they're raising two adopted black kids. So after receiving “at least a dozen hateful emails,” and twice as many rude comments, they decided last week that enough was enough. [Are we still allowed to use that expression? Ed.]
On her Facebook page, Mrs Offenbecker wrote: "This flag is so often mistaken for the Confederate flag and people are often offended by it before they realize that they are mistaken. In reporting this fine example of the triumph of political correctness and the cancel culture, RT.com adds that this is not the first time the Norwegian flag got mistaken for something else. Two years ago, bestselling true-crime author Rebecca Morris alerted the Seattle Times to her sighting of a Confederate flag in her neighbourhood. What reporters found instead was a Norwegian-American homeowner showing the support of his Scandinavian country of origin during the Olympic games that were taking place the time.
Where will it all end? Walt says enough is enough! But you know and Walt knows that for the woolly-minded liberal SJWs, enough will never be enough.

You've seen this story, right? At left is the summary that appeared recently on the landing page of Canada's Notional Pest. The story is about Kathy Zhu, a beautiful (check out her Instagram page) 20-year-old of Chinese descent (Nota bene!) who won the Miss Michigan title recently, only to have it taken away from her over tweets which the PC police at Miss World America called "offensive" and "insensitive".
The first tweet that aroused the ire of the SJWs referred to Black Lives Matter. "Did you know the majority of black deaths are caused by other blacks?" Ms Zhu wrote on Twitter in October 2017. "Fix problems within your own community first before blaming others." Is that offensive? From here it looks like a statement of fact followed by a sensible suggestion about what needs to be done about black-on-black crime.
In February 2018, in a tweet she has since deleted, Ms Zhu criticized a World Hijab Day awareness event at the University of Central Florida, where she had been a student before transferring. "There’s a 'try a hijab on' booth at my college campus," she wrote. "So you're telling me that it's now just a fashion accessory and not a religious thing? Or are you just trying to get women used to being oppressed under Islam?"
In an interview this weekend, Ms Zhu said her tweets had been taken out of context and that she was punished for her conservative views. Not wanting to wear a hijab did not make her an Islamophobe, she added. Ms Zhu told the British Independent newspaper she believes "coming out as conservative is harder than coming out as gay in today's society... I stand by each and every one of my tweets on my account. It is honestly sad that the left refers to statistics and facts as racist and insensitive."
The real problem (for the gliberals and "progressives") is that Ms Zhu is not just on the conservative side of social issues, but that she is a supporter of President Trump. In this photo from her Instagram page, she wears the MAGA hat [Have you got yours yet? Ed.], and should probably consider herself lucky that she hasn't been assaulted by masked antifa types.
"I am very glad that I now have the opportunity to speak out about the unjust treatment of conservatives," Ms Zhu said this weekend. She also touched upon the response she's had on social media, saying it's been "mostly positive. People support that I've decided to stand my ground instead of compromise on my beliefs and values."
"But of course," she added, "the negative reactions are from those that either have not read the articles and just saw clickbait headlines or believe that statistics are racist." Indeed. She might have added, as well, that the (((controlled media))) always concentrate on what they consider "hate crime" rather than on a person's First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and... dare we say it... freedom of thought!
Footnote: Lucky for Ms Zhu she doesn't live in Canada, land of M-103. The ultra-Liberal government of Just In Trudeau is rumoured to be intent on resurrecting Section 13 of the Human Rights Act, which was used in the past to clobber free thinkers (Hello, Mark Steyn!) who dared to utter facts -- not opinions but facts -- about, errr, the "Religion of Peace". Fortunately for Canucks, they will have an opportunity in just under three months to undo the hyuge mistake they made in the fall of 2015.
