Your Sikhs today: Canucks order one (1) (only) criminal Singh deported

Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board (comprised of card-carrying Liberals in need of work) finally said the quiet part out loud on Friday, admitting that extortion gangs who prey on "south Asians", rely on Indians, mostly Sikhs, living in Canada on "temporary" student and work visas.

The totally unsurprising admission came in an explanation for an order of deportation Jashandeep Singh (not exactly as pictured), described as a "bottom-tier" associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Edmonton.

While the top leaders of the Bishnoi gang were charged with racketeering this week, this Jashandeep Singh -- not to be confused with the dozens of "Jashandeep Singhs" whose pictures may be found on the Internet -- is among the lower-level suspects authorities have opted [not "been pressured"? Ed.] to expel from Canuckistan.

Like many in the Bishnoi gang, Mr Singh came to Canada on a student visa. He said his parents borrowed money to send him to an Edmonton college in 2022 so he could have a brighter future. But he acknowledged he "made a mistake" by joining the gang, where he became a "soldier", subordinate to a mid-level member named Arshdeep Singh.

At his immigration hearing, a police officer testified that Mr Singh was caught on video holding a gun that was used in an extortion shooting in Surrey BC on 19 May 2025. In the footage, Mr Singh aimed the handgun at the head of another Singh man.

According to police, he was present when the same weapon was fired in Edmonton a few hours later. He later hid the gun so police would not find it. However, a different firearm was later found during a police search of the home he shared with roommates.

Testifying in his defence (with the help of a Punjabi interpreter, of course), Mr Singh denied being a gang member and denied hiding any guns. He said the videos were filmed at Arshdeep Singh's birthday celebration. He said Arsedeep was a friend and they had met at school. He claimed he was intoxicated at the time the videos were recorded, after consuming marijuana gummies, and was only joking around when he picked up Arshdeep’s gun and held it to someone’s head.

However, the IRB said in its decision that Mr Singh was not a credible witness and his statements to investigators contained "numerous inconsistencies." So the deportation order was made. Whether it will actually be carried out is a different question. Walt predicts Jashandeep Singh will still be in Canada a year from now. Lifetime pct .987.

Further reading: "House arrest for temporary resident guilty of sexual assault", Prince George (BC) Citizen, 9/7/26. Karandeep Singh came to Canada from India on a "temporary" visa in 2023 and works as a security guard. He pled guilty to sexual assault and got 170 days house arrest, followed by 18 months probation. Whether or not he will be deported after that... see previous paragraph.

Your Sikhs today: Canada-wide "For Brothers" edition

Here's a story that has been widely reported in the lickspittle meeja in the Greater Toronto and Edmonton areas, who have somehow omitted names and pictures or anything other than names that would identify the accused as Sikhs. What follows is the report as published by the Edmonton Police Service.

[The EPS] has arrested Safaldeep Singh, who has suspected ties to an international criminal network known to target South Asian business owners and community members across Canada.

On 4 May 2026, EPS Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Charger following reports of dangerous driving. A search of the vehicle incident to arrest led to the seizure of controlled substances and a loaded firearm.

The three occupants, Safaldeep Singh, 22, Sandeep Singh, 28, and Divianshu Divianshu, 22, were arrested and charged with several drug trafficking and firearms related offences.

Safaldeep Singh has suspected ties to the "For Brothers" gang, an organized criminal network linked to shootings and extortion which targeted South Asian business owners and community members across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada and the USA.

Two search warrants conducted at Safaldeep Singh's residence on 28 May 28 and 23 June 2026 resulted in the seizure of evidence consistent with vehicle re-vinning operations linked to extortion-related crimes. On 23 June 2026, Singh was apprehended and charged with trafficking in property obtained by crime, possession of stolen property and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

He was also arrested on Canada-wide warrants originating in Ontario for conspiracy to commit murder and extortion. After being processed on the EPS charges in Edmonton, he was transferred to Ontario to face the charges on his Canada-wide warrants.

Mr Singh is expected to have been released on bail by the time you read this. You'll notice that there is no mention of how Mr Singh and his co-religionists got into Canuckistan. Could it be that they are students at the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving? It appears that's something that will have to be  investigated by someone else.

Your Singhs today (Alberta edition)

Regular readers of this ever-lengthening series will know that we usually try to post photos of the perps of the smuggling, extortion and murders for which Canada's Sikh community has become notorious. But the people who committed this particular crime are still at large, so we'll being with a picture of the victim.

Birinder Singh, aged 22, was shot to death earlier this month on  Highway 2, south of Edmonton AB, near Township Road 490, south of Leduc.

According to the RCMP (who have not yet got their man) three friends were headed to the mountains on the afternoon of 14 March when a pickup truck pulled up beside their Honda Civic.

Witnesses saw the truck pull up beside a car and then speed off. According to the two survivors of the shooting, a person in the truck made a hand gesture toward them, something resembling a peace sign. The meaning would depend on the colour of the person making the gesture.

The witnesses said their friend and Mr Singh, who was driving the car, waved back. How many fingers they used is not known. Moments later, someone in the truck opened fire and a bullet struck Mr Singh in the neck. The friends took control of the steering wheel and pulled the car over to the side of the highway. There Mr Singh died in the vehicle from loss of blood.

According to the friends, Mr Singh moved three years ago from India to... wait for it... Brampton ON, on an international student visa. He studied business administration at the Singh School of Truck Driving before relocating to Edmonton in October. Since then, the business administration student worked in construction, installing siding. He was on his way to see the Canadian Rockies for the first time when he was killed.

Sergeant Preston of the Yukonf said investigators located the truck, a Grey 2022 Ford F-150, last week but the suspect remains at large as the Mounties continue their search for a suspect and a motive.

Here's a related news flash. CTV News reports that, to the surprise of no-one, Karen Hogan, Canada's Auditor General, found reforms to the international student program "fell short" on improving integrity, including only investigating a small number of "potentially problematic" cases flagged by post-secondary institutions.

Her report, released this morning, found that out of 153,324 potentially non-compliant students reported by schools to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in 2023 and 2024, the government only had the ability to investigate about 2000 a year, or 4057 in total.

Within those investigations, the AG’s report found that 1654 students did not respond to IRCC's two inquiries. And... spoiler alert... "the department took limited action to confirm non‑compliance beyond contacting the student for more information."

Speaking to the meeja after submitting her report to the Liberal government to be filed and forgotten, reporters on Parliament Hill on Monday, the Auditor General said it's "concerning" to see the IRCC’s lack of action. "I think they’re just not acting on the information they have," Ms Hogan said. "And I would expect them to do that. They have the powers and the tools. They just need to use them."

If the IRCC did what Ms Hogan suggests, Marx Carnage's Liberal government would be in danger of losing as many as 24 seats -- notably in Brampton, Surrey BC and Edmonton -- in the House of Commons. So don't expect any such action until there are reliable reports of sub-zero temperatures in Hades.

VIDEO: Your Sikhs today (Brampton ON edition)

Another gem from JayGen Xer, the guy responsible for the "Seen somewhere in...Canada" vids, originally seen on Blazing Cat Fur and reposted here a couple of days ago. Scroll down to see `em.

Be careful, though, your dealings with the proprietors of the Singh School of Truck Driving and other Sikh-owned businesses, not just in Brampton but in Surrey BC, Edmonton AB and other immigrant-friendly cities across Canada. As this article from Canada's Global TV News reveals, they are not alone, and they are dangerous.

Many thanks to the good folks at Blazing Cat Fur for boosting Walt's rundown battery.

Your Singhs today (Edmonton edition)

During the days of the Raj, particularly during World Wars I and II, the Sikhs of India (which included Pakistan, at that time), joined the British and Indian armies as drivers, mechanics, anything to do with motorized vehicles. There is no caste in Sikhism, so it seems they just naturally gravitated to such positions.

Nowadays Sikh drivers -- many of them graduates of the notorious Singh School of Truck Driving -- are to be found all over Canada and parts of the US of A, working as drivers of big rigs transporting drugs (and other things) across the World's Longest Undefended BorderTM and causing mayhem on the Interstate and provincial superhighways. See WWW passim

If they can't get work as truck drivers, some of them turn to driving for rideshare companies like Uber and Lyft. Not much to do with drugs there, but plenty of opportunity for horny Punjabis to exercise their belief that all white women are sexually available.

Case in point: Gurvinder Singh Pannu, 32, of Edmonton AB, now charged with sexual assault after an incident last summer. Edmonton cops allege that the assault happened around 0200 on 30 June 2024, when a woman ordered an Uber in the downtown area [perhaps to take her to a sunrise church service? Ed.]

A dark grey 2023 Nissan Rogue SUV picked her up near 109th St. and 101th Ave. During the trip, police allege the man driving the SUV stopped the vehicle and sexually assaulted the woman. It's not known when the victim came forward. However, a suspect was arrested and charged this last August 30th.

"Following a thorough investigation, we were able to successfully arrest and charge (a) suspect," said Constable Mughees Jutt (not a Sikh) with the Edmonton Police Service's southwest branch. "We unfortunately believe that there are others who have been impacted by this individual and we would like them to come forward so we can investigate and provide them with appropriate supports."

Mr Pannu was released under conditions including: not going to India or Pakistan for a holiday; not working for a ride sharing or taxi service; not having direct or indirect contact with the female complainant; and not possessing weapons, including knives and firearms. Whether "knives" includes the kirpan that all good Sikhs must wear at all times was not made clear.

VIDEO: Canada needs a politician with balls

Being fundamentally anti-social, Walt doesn't do Facebook, so misses the tiny bit of gold that's posted somewhere in the huge pile of dross. Thanks and a tip o' the toque to Agent 6 who picked up this gem from Tajana Cekic, who, in just a couple of minutes, presents her plan for fixing Canada.

Wow, eh!!! I'll vote for her if I get the chance!

BTW, if you want to see what the libtard who's just been elected mayor of Edmonton AB looks like -- Tajana says he looks like "a circumcised penis" -- Google "Andrew Knack". That's his name. No kidding. I predict he'll be known as "the Knacker" until the next election at which he'll be defeated.

Your Singhs today (Canada's Most Unwanted)

This item was posted on Instagram almost six months ago.

🚨 Maninder Singh Dhaliwal 🚨
Wanted Canada wide is affiliated with the “BROTHERS KEEPERS” #BKGang organized crime group out of the Lower Mainland. RVMP [sic] refers to this group as the "DHALIWAL CRIME GROUP".

Edmonton Police Service Acting Inspector Dave Paton claimed that Gang Leader Dhaliwal has been orchestrating his extortion network from overseas and his whereabouts are unknown.

Today, the Canadian Broadcorping Castration reports that the elusive Sikh, accused of orchestrating a string of arsons connected to extortion cases targeting South Asian home builders in Edmonton AB, has been arrested overseas.

The Edmonton Police Service said in a news release that Maninder Singh Dhaliwal was apprehended in the United Arab Emirates on separate charges in late 2024. An application has been filed to have him extradited to Alberta.

The cops investigated 40 related incidents, with the last one — an arson — occurring on 26 July 2024. According to the news release, "This investigation has been a massive effort on the part of EPS investigators, with never-before-seen complexities involving international co-ordination. We are very pleased to see it conclude with the request for the extradition of Dhaliwal."

A Canada-wide warrant for Mr Dhaliwal was issued last July in connection with a rash of extortion incidents that destroyed new or under-construction homes and left the city's South Asian community on edge. It's the latest in an ongoing investigation known as Project Gaslight, a probe into incidents targeting business owners in Edmonton, alleged to have been carried out by a group of local individuals under direction from India.

Police allege that Dhaliwal, 34, is responsible for orchestrating the crimes from abroad — recruiting people in Edmonton and paying them to deliver threats and light properties on fire when demands for money transfers went unmet. They were investigating 40 crimes related to the spree, including arsons, drive-by shootings and firearms incidents.

So far, the investigation to date has already resulted in a string of arrests. Last summer, Mr Dhaliwal and six other Sikhs -- four young men, a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman -- believed to have been involved in the scheme, were arrested and charged. A total of 54 charges were laid against them including extortion, arson, intentionally discharging a firearm, break and enter, assault with a weapon, and charges linked to committing a crime for a criminal organization.

The Canadian justice system being supremely politically correct, Mr Dhaliwal was released on bail, but failed to show up for his first court date. Quelle surprise! It was then that police suspected he might have left the country. Now -- if the lack of an extradition treaty with the UAE doesn't get in the way -- he will be back in the Great No-longer-white North, to be further dealt with by the law as the Trudeau Liberals experience it.

VIDEO: Francis in Canada - the Pachamama road show

Today is the feast of Saint James the Great, also known as Santiago Matamoros, the Patron of Spain. In Spain, the temperature this afternoon was in the vicinity of 40 degrees Celsius, with wildfires making much of the country seem even hotter. In Rome, there were no wildfires, and the temperature rose to only 36. One might suspect that Pope Bergoglio travelled to Canada -- he arrived on Sunday -- to beat the heat.

But we mustn't impute motive. The given reason for his "pilgrimage" was to apologize yet again for the role of members of the Catholic Church* in co-operating with the government's "policy of colonialization of Canada's indigenous people" by housing and educating their children in residential schools, for a century ending in the 1950s.

Francis had already grovelled (well, sort of) before a delegation of First Nations and Inuit elders in Rome, four months ago, but that wasn't good enough. Canada's pinko prime minister, Just In Trudeau, pressured the Pope to come in person to engage in a multi-million-dollar publicity stunt against the Church's "abusive, colonialist, and culture-suppressing" missionary activity in Canada. And here he is.

* It must be noted here that it is dogma that Holy Mother Church, founded by Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, cannot err. If Francis had apologized for mistakes or misdeeds of the Church, that would have been the gravest heresy. That's why the text of his apology, delievered just hours ago, must be read very carefully. Here is the key part of what he said. (The emphasis is mine. Walt)

"I am here because the first step of my penitential pilgrimage among you is that of again asking forgiveness, of telling you once more that I am deeply sorry. Sorry for the ways in which, regrettably, many Christians supported the colonizing mentality of the powers that oppressed the Indigenous Peoples. I am sorry. I ask forgiveness, in particular, for the ways in which many members of the church and of religious communities co-operated, not least through their indifference, in projects of cultural destruction and forced assimilation promoted by the governments of that time, which culminated in the system of residential schools.

"Although Christian charity was not absent, and there were many outstanding instances of devotion and care for children, the overall effects of the policies linked to the residential schools were catastrophic. What our Christian faith tells us is that this was a disastrous error, incompatible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is painful to think of how the firm soil of values, language and culture that made up the authentic identity of your peoples was eroded, and that you have continued to pay the price of this. In the face of this deplorable evil, the church kneels before God and implores his forgiveness for the sins of her children. I myself wish to reaffirm this, with shame and unambiguously. I humbly beg forgiveness for the evil committed by so many Christians against the Indigenous Peoples."

Regular readers will know that I hold no brief for the man who calls himself Pope Francis. But his apology, unlike many of the statements which he makes up as he goes along, seems to me well thought through, appropriate and correct.

Other may take a less charitable view. Our old friend Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, has just put together a minidocumentary on the residential schools, which he intends as a blow against woke revisionist history, or -- he puts it more bluntyly -- fake news.

Mr Matt calls the Pope's "pentitential pilgrimage" part of the "Pachamama Road Show", another attempt  to exploit indigenous peoples to push a new Woke Order, the success of which depends on a thoroughly discredited Christian Old World Order. Whether or not you think Francis is doing the right thing -- or trying to -- you should watch this video and consider what's really going on here.

Also in this video: What about Francis’s alleged coverups of sexual abusers such as Fr. Julio Cesar Grassi and Bishop Gustavo Oscar Zanchetta? Francis covered for them, and now they're in jail! Who's going to apologize to the victims for Francis's role in those coverups? Mr Matt's Remnant Underground videos are always worth watching... and sharing!

VIDEO: "There'll be no more clean water, no more animals!"

As I was saying, there's a heap big protest going on across Canada, as a handful of Indians (politically incorrect term for "First Nations") and hundreds of radical left activists block railway tracks to protest the building of a natural gas pipeline across "Indian land" claimed by the Wet'suwet'en people of northern British Columbia.

The blockades have brought traffic on much of Canada's already struggling rail network to a halt, but according to the Prime Minister of Canuckistan "reconciliation" trumps economics, and the "unfortunate situation" must be resolved through "dialogue, not force". Walt finds it strange that Mr Socks hasn't sent his ace dialoguer, Chrystia Freeland (now Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Nothing) to negotiate with the protesters. "These people are impossible! I'm going home!"

Here's a very short video scraped from CTV News yesterday, showing what happens when you to try to dialogue with climate alarmists and professional protesters.

"There won't be any more clean drinking water or any more animals!" Dontcha love it? And by the way, does that guy sound like an Indian to you? In Canada, First Nations people have a distinctive way of speaking, which you'll hear if you watch North of 60, a great drama series [soap opera? Ed.] produced in the 1990s by (incredibly) the CBC, and still viewable on APTN (the Aboriginal Peoples TV Network) and YouTube. But I digress. That snowflake sounds like a whitey to me. And why is it that all these protesters are wearing antifa-style masks and balaclavas? Just askin'...

UPDATE ADDED at 0725: Canada's Public Safety and Emergency Unpreparedness Minister Bill Blair has just announced that the Mounties in British Columbia have agreed to withdraw from their position on Wet'suwet'en territory and barricade themselves in a nearby town named L'alamo. [Ed., please check town name.]

So Just In (from Africa) Trudeau's Liberal government has caved to a few dozen radical activists who don't even have the support of the majority of the Wet'suwet'en people, as represented by their elected (as opposed to hereditary) chiefs. In today's Canuckistan, the mob rules!

Why no-one wants to take in Somali "refugees"

When President Trump issued his latest proclamation, "Enhancing Vetting Capabilities and Processes for Detecting Attempted Entry into the United States by Terrorists or other Public-Safety Threats" last month, the usual gang of do-gooders, SJWs and bleeding hearts denounced it as "racist", "Islamophobic", yada yada yada, since all but one of the countries named are Muslim majority states. One of those is Somalia, a failed state which has been exporting "refugees", including Islamic terrorists, to Europe and America for decades.

Use the search feature at the right to get a complete list of the many times Walt has written about "Somalis", and you will soon see why people from that wretched shithole of a "nation" should be at the top of the list of prohibited visitors or immigrants. Here are links to some of the more recent posts.

"Had enough Muslim immigrants yet?", WWW 20/9/16
"The Muslim invasion of Canada has begun (but not where you think)", WWW 6/1/17 - Most of the asylum-seekers mentioned in this piece wound up in Toronto, in the "Dixon" neighbourhood, which will be mentioned in a moment.
"Somali tribesmen of MN (!) fall for anti-vaxxers' BS, get sick and die", WWW 8/5/17
"Edmonton Muslim terrorist attack: Walt told ya so!", WWW 2/10/17
"Somali-Canadian Muslim convicted of planning terror attack on NYC", WWW 7/10/17.

Apparently no-one made the connection between the Islamic terrorist wannabe mentioned in the first post on my list, and the one mentioned in the last post. They are both Somali Muslims. So is the guy charged with attempted murder in the Edmonton "incident". He was first described by Canadian "authorities" and the lamestream media as a "refugee". Turns out his refugee claim was actually made in the USA, where he lived for some time until he was ordered deported. One step ahead of ICE, he then fled to the Great No-longer-white North, where he was welcomed by the gullible Canucks. The Mounties probably helped him with his luggage, as they have with the 1000s of illegals who have crossed the border at Emerson MB and Lacolle QC.

Speaking of those who crossed at Emerson -- see second story on the above list -- Torontonians may be dismayed, but will not be surprised to learn that almost all of them took the welfare and resettlement money given to them by the soft-hearted and soft-headed Canadians and made their way to Toronto, where they were welcomed into the ghetto known as "Dixon", in northern Etobicoke. That area is largely inhabited by Somali refugees, countrymen and perhaps kinsmen of Canada's Minister of Immigration and Refugees (sic), Ahmed Hussen.

Walt has e-mailed the Honourable Mr Husssen for comment on a spate of recent shootings in his community. Last week The Economist released a new index ranking Toronto as the safest city in North America. This comes as news to the residents of Dixon, who held a protest meeting last week (attended only by women and children -- the Somali men were elsewhere) to call for government help (= money) to deal with the seemingly relentless violence that cut short the lives of two young Somali "refugees" last this week alone.

Abdulkadir Bihi, 29, of Toronto was fatally shot last Thursday afternoon when police located him in a vehicle in front of an apartment building on Dixon Road. Police have since charged two suspects with first-degree murder in connection to the homicide. Four days later, a 16-year-old boy died of his injuries in hospital following a triple shooting in the parking lot of Kingsview Village School on Dixon Road and Islington Avenue.
The two other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased was identified as Zakariye Ali of Toronto. All involved -- victims and shooters -- are Somalis.

Now we come to this weekend's bloody atrocity in the place those people came from -- Somalia, first and foremost among the world's failed states. It is hard to argue with the proposition that Somalia is a dangerous place, even for natives. Not only political conflict, but tribal and clan warfare have raged there since early 2009 -- and that's just the current phase of yet another Muslim civil war into which the West got sucked in the name of peace-keeping. Remember Black Hawk Down? That was about the Battle of Mogadishu, way back in 1993, in which American forces took on Somali militia fighters, with predictable results. (I wrote earlier today about the latest phase of the war in Iraq. See the pattern?)

Mogadishu this weekend was the scene of two massive truck bombings. The death toll is now (Monday morning) over 300, with a like number wounded and injured. Somalia's alleged government -- whose writ does not run even in the country's capital city -- is blaming the al-Shabaab, an affiliate of al-Qaeda. The Islamic terror attack was one of the worst in the world in recent years, and the worst in Somalia ever. Al-Shabaab, Africa's deadliest Islamic extremist group, often targets high-profile areas of Mogadishu. Earlier this year, it vowed to step up attacks after both the Trump administration and Somalia's recently elected president announced new military efforts against the group.

In the wake of the massacre, the one-worlders, bleeding hearts and chattering classes will be calling on President Trump to "temporarily" except Somalia from the list of countries whose nationals aren't allowed to enter the USA. "Be human!", they will clamour, pissing and moaning about those poor people whose lives are in danger, who want to come to America (and maybe onward to Canada, or the other way around) to find peace and security.

At the risk of appearing hard-hearted, Walt would suggest that the only threats to the lives and well-being of most Somalis are threats posed by other Somalis! If you don't believe me, look at Dixon. They bring their political and religious strife with them, as part of their psychological baggage. Better, for us at least, that they stay at home.

Footnote
: Oh... Forgot to identify the three Somali "refugees" in the pix above. Check out "Minneapolis: Somali 'refugees' terrorize neighborhood", a story completely ignored by the Star-Tribune since it happened in July of 2016, during the election campaign. Briefly, a group of 20-30 Somali "refugees" terrorized a small neighbourhood filled with million dollar homes, screaming about "jihad" while waving Somali flags, shooting off fireworks and driving their cars onto sidewalks and lawns. They also threatened to kidnap women and rape them because "Sharia law says it's legal."

Canuck government "reviewing" refugee processing after terror attack

This is a relatively minor story compared with the Mandalay Bay massacre, but I think it's worth a follow-up for Canadian readers, since it highlights everything that's wrong with the liberal (and Liberal) approach to dealing with the hundreds of thousands of bogus "refugees" and asylum-seekers who enter Western countries every year.

"Welcome them with open arms," says Justin "Junior" Trudeau, for diversity is what makes Canada strong. See "Welcome to Canada, Syrian refugees!", WWW 8/2/17. 1000s of Canadians are hollering BULLSHIT, but never mind, it's Liberal government policy and there's no way it's going to be changed before the federal election of 2019... if then.

But you can see that M Trudeau and his oh-so-diverse cabinet are being made nervous by incidents such as the Islamic terrorist attack in Edmonton AB last week. That's because, just as Walt predicted (see "Edmonton Muslim terrorist attack: Walt told ya so!", WWW 2/10/17), the perp turned out to be a Muslim Somali "refugee", waved through the porous Canadian border in 2012. But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more!

The information released by the Edmonton police and the Mounties at the time left the impression that Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, now charged with five counts of attempted murder, four counts of criminal flight causing bodily harm, and one count each of dangerous driving and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, came to Canada as a refugee from Somalia, or maybe Syria. Exactly how and where he entered Canada was not disclosed, and with good reason. Turns out he entered Canada from... wait for it... the USA!

In July of 2011, US Customs and Border Protection transferred Mr Sharif into the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Otay Mesa Detention Center in San Diego CA. Two months later, an immigration judge ordered him removed to his native Somalia. He waived his right to appeal that decision. Two months after that, he was released on an ICE order of supervision "due to a lack of likelihood of his removal in the reasonably foreseeable future," according to Jennifer D. Elzea, acting press secretary for the ICE Office of Public Affairs.

This was in the Obama years, remember, and American authorities just kind of, errr, stopped deporting illegal aliens. But ICE did tell Mr Sharif to come back next year. He was scheduled to be removed on 24 January 2012. ICE was shocked, shocked when he failed to turn up at their enforcement and removal operations center on his scheduled date. Next thing you know he presented himself at the Canadian border.

The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, the Canuck Minister of Immigration and Refugees -- that really is his title -- confirmed today that Mr Sharif entered at an official port of entry, went through the 'regular process' and was granted refugee status later that year. He declined to provide any more details, citing an "active, ongoing investigation."

Oh yes, there's an investigation going on -- a classic case of locking the barn door after the horse has bolted. At a scrum outside the House of Commons today, Junior told the meeja "We are looking into exactly what happened in this situation. We're certain that we have asylum processes that needed to be followed when someone presents themselves at our border, we have rules to follow and we make sure those rules are followed. We're looking into the whole system and will reflect on whether we need to do things differently certainly in the future than the way they were done in 2012. But the priority is always making sure that we're defending the values and rights of Canadians while keeping our communities safe." Yeah... right...

M Trudeau had to answer reporters' questions because his Somali-born (aha!) Minister for Refugees etc. was out of town, speaking at an event in the ghetto which is Brampton. Mr Hussen stressed that decisions on whether to grant asylum are not made by the government but by the arms' length, independent Immigration and Refugee Board. "That board is the one that is responsible for determining the merits of each and every case when it comes to asylum claims," he said. What he didn't say is that the members of the IRB -- each and every one of them -- are appointed by the Liberal government. "Arms' length", indeed... NOT.

Edmonton Muslim terrorist attack: Walt told ya so!

Walt posted "Islamic terrorist attack in Canada... really?!" pretty early (for a Sunday) yesterday, before the "authorities" had released any information about the perpetrator of Saturday night's attack outside Confederation Stadium in Edmonton AB. I predicted that the jihadi wannabe would turn out to be a "Mohammed" -- meaning a Muslim -- probably from the community of Somali "refugees" who now infest Edmonton as well as Toronto.

Edmonton police held another presser yesterday afternoon, by which time they could no longer cover up the politically incorrect truth. They identified the perpetrator who they had in custody as Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, 30, a Muslim ✔ refugee ✔ from Somalia ✔. That's 3 for 3 for your obdt servant. Lifetime pct .990.

The cops also revealed, to no-one's surprise, that Mr Sharif was "known" to them. Back in 2015 -- two years ago -- a good citizen reported that Mr Sharif had been "promoting extremist views". He was investigated by the city police and then by the RCMP. Both forces now claim they didn't have sufficient evidence to charge the prospective terrorist with anything, or even require him to enter into a peace bond. So it's not the cops' fault then.

Nothing was said about the Liberal government's claim that all migrants are thoroughly vetted before being admitted to Canada, to make sure there are no ISIS members or extremists of any kind posing as refugees or asylum-seekers. As I wrote yesterday, if you admit tens of 1000s of aliens to your country, even the most careful screening is bound to miss the occasional baddie. If just 1-10th of 1% of 50,000 "refugees" are wolves in sheep's clothing, that's 50 terrorists now living here... perhaps in your neighbourhood... especially if you live in a Canadian "magnet city".

Canuck Prime Minister Justin "Junior" Trudeau did not appear in front of the cameras he loves so much, but released a statement in which he called the incident a "terrorist attack". It seems he has learned from his mentor and idol, Barack Hussein Obama, not to preface the word "terrorist" with the word "Islamic". Instead, he repeated once again his tired and tiresome mantra, "We know that Canada's strength comes from our diversity...." To which many Canadians -- more now than before this weekend -- would respond with cries of "BULLSHIT!"

VIDEO: Islamic terrorist attack in Canada... really?!

Saturday night is Hockey Night in Canada. But at this time of year, other games are played too. The Canadian Football League [12 on a side, 110-yard field, only three downs. You're welcome. Ed.] is in mid-season. In Edmonton, at 2015 local time, the hometown Eskimos [Isn't that name kind of racist? Ed.] were losing to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. And outside Confederation Stadium, a militant Muslim was revving up his engine to ram his car into the crowd of football fans and bar patrons. Edmonton police chief Rod Knecht tells what happened next.

For those who prefer to read the news (or couldn't quite get what the Chief was saying)... A uniformed police constable was working traffic control outside the stadium, standing behind a barricade, when a Chevrolet Malibu crashed into it, hit the officer and sent him flying 15 feet into the air. "A male believed to be 30 years old then jumped out of his vehicle", the Chief continued, "and viciously attacked the Edmonton Police Service member with a knife. A struggle then ensued, during which the male suspect stabbed the officer several times before fleeing the scene on foot." The officer was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not critical.

Pause here to think about why Chief Knecht identified the perp only as a 30-year-old male -- no name, no citizenship status, no ethnicity, no religion -- even though the Mohammed (just my guess) was already in custody. Perhaps the Chief didn't want to fan the flames of Islamophobia?

How did the suspect come to be in custody? Here's the rest of the story. The first attack happened at about 2015 on Saturday. At a presser about two hours later, the cops said not to worry, there was no threat to the public, and a manhunt was under way. Not two hours after that, just before midnight, a white U-Haul van was pulled over at a "checkstop" on the north side of town. When a police officer checked the driver's name, he recognized it as being similar to the name -- Mohammed? -- of the registered owner of the car that had struck the officer at Commonwealth Stadium.

The U-Haul immediately sped off toward downtown Edmonton. In a scene reminiscent of the Great Chase in the Blues Brothers, the van barrelled down Jasper Avenue with up to 20 police vehicles following, at speeds of up to 50 mph in the 30 mph zone. A witness said police cars began to block streets that connect to Jasper Avenue. The U-Haul eventually doubled back and drove the opposite way down Jasper Avenue.

"Throughout the chase, the U-Haul truck deliberately attempted to hit pedestrians in crosswalks and alleys in two areas along Jasper Avenue," said Chief Knecht. And sure enough, near 107th Street the van struck at least two pedestrians, before flipping and landing on its side. "We believe the individual acted alone," the Chief told the meeja, adding that police would investigate the possible involvement of others.
"Based on evidence at the scenes and the actions of the suspect," he explained, "it was determined that these incidents are being investigated as acts of terrorism." Knecht said.

What "evidence"? What "actions of the suspect"? Chief Knecht didn't say anything about that until the Q&A session, when a reporter said he had a picture of the ISIS flag found on the front seat of the Malibu. Only then did the head cop confirm that a black ISIS flag was seized from "a car" where the police officer was attacked.

No-one asked the Chief if the suspect said or yelled anything. Like "Allahu akbar!" And, as Walt told you above, the police have not been forthcoming as to the suspect's identity.

In recent years, thanks to the liberal immigration policies of the Canadian government, Edmonton (like Minneapolis, only colder) has become "home" to a sizable community of Somali "refugees" and asylum-seekers, 99% of whom are followers of the Prophet. Of course not all of them are Islamic extremists, but suppose 1/10th of 1 percent of the 50,000 or so Muslims admitted to Canada in 2016 alone are fanatics, that would work out to... do the math... 50 actual or potential terrorists running around loose. Makes you think, eh!

Footnote: This is not the first terrorist attack in the Great Not-so-white North. On 22 October 2014, at the Canadian National War Memorial in Ottawa, an self-proclaimed "ISIS soldier" named Michael Zehaf-Bibeau fatally shot Corporal Nathan Cirillo, a Canadian soldier on ceremonial sentry duty. He then entered the nearby Centre Block of the parliament building, where members of parliament were attending caucuses. After wrestling with a constable at the entrance, M Zehaf-Bibeau ran inside and had a shootout with parliament security personnel. He was shot 31 times by six officers and died at the scene. See "'Radicalized Muslim' calls Cirillo killing an act of retaliation", WWW 9/3/15.

Longer, more relevant footnote
: Just two days before the Parliament Hill terrorist attack, on 20 October 2014, another "homegrown" Islamic terrorist by the name of Martin Couture-Rouleau deliberately rammed a car into a pair of Canadian Armed Forces soldiers in a shopping centre parking lot in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu QC. Warrant officer Patrice Vincent died in hospital the next day. Another unnamed soldier sustained non-life-threatening injures.

Witnesses said M Couture-Rouleau had been seen sitting in his car and watching for over two hours before the attack. During the police chase which ensued, he called 911 during the chase to say that he carried out his acts in the name of Allah. The chase ended when the killer lost control of his car, rolling it into a ditch and onto its roof. He then exited the vehicle (as cops say) and charged a policewoman with a knife. Police shot him up to seven times and he was pronounced dead that evening in hospital. He is now believed (by Muslims) to be in Paradise where he is being serviced by 72 virgins -- another soldier of ISIS getting his reward.

Should criminal refugees and illegal aliens be identified as such?

Following reports in the Canadian media (and here on WWW!) that a Syrian "refugee" was arrested in Edmonton AB for sexual assaults on six teenaged girls, the usual suspects have started pissing and moaning that it's not fair to identify, as such, "refugees" and asylum-seekers charged with criminal acts.

CBC News quotes one Mohamed Huque, the totally unbiased executive director of the Islamic Family and Social Services Association, as saying that identifying miscreants who claim refugee status will "inflame a segment of our population who already harbour a bias, a discrimination or unfair views towards newcomers." That's his polite way of calling people who don't welcome Muslim invaders -- pardon, "newcomers" -- "racists".

The effect, of course, would be to "embolden" people like Alexandre Bissonnette, now the only suspect in the attack on a mosque in Québec City a couple of weeks ago. See "What REALLY happened at Québec City???", WWW 5/2/17 (includes great video with Gavin McInnes!) Mr Huque said the case is already being used "to incite fear of new immigrants, and has cast a negative light on thousands of refugees."

Obviously the best way to keep stories about the criminality of refugees -- Syrians, Muslims or "other" -- from being used to inflame passions against these poor seekers after freedom and a better life is not to ask them to refrain from abusing the hospitality of the host nations, but... wait for it... to keep such stories from being published. Or, at least, to stop identifying the perps as Muslims or Syrians or refugees or asylum-seekers or anything that would distinguish them from law-abiding white Christians.

Will Canada's government start censoring the lamestream media? Maybe, maybe not. Will the LMS start censoring themselves? They already do! The CBC, guilty guilty guilty of allowing comments on the Québec mosque story (only after the Mohamed became just a "witness") has kept closed the comments box on the West Edmonton Mall story and the terribly offended reaction of Mr Huque and the SJWs.

In the USA, by contrast, the new administration will start publishing weekly lists of crimes committed by illegal aliens. A new Office for Victims of Crimes Committed by Removable Aliens will provide quarterly reports studying the effects of the victimization by criminal aliens present in the United States, and will publish quarterly reports on the immigration status of all prisoners inside the country. So says President Trump's "Executive Order: Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States", issued on 25 January 2017.

During his election campaign, President Trump pointed out that illegal immigrants and "other non-citizens" in US prisons and jails had around 25,000 homicide arrests to their names (United States Government Accountability Office, March 2011). He also referred to the fact that there are at least two million convicted criminal aliens now inside the country, and that since 2013 alone, the Obama Administration had allowed 300,000 criminal aliens to return back into U.S. communities.

The executive order was issued in the interest of enhanced national security. Mr Trump pointed out, during the campaign, that between 9/11 and the end of 2014, at least 380 foreign-born individuals were convicted in terror cases inside the United States. (U.S. Senate Immigration Subcommittee, June 22, 2016).

The measures in the Executive Order should therefore have come as no surprise to anyone who had bothered to read Mr Trump's election promises. Contrary to what is now being asserted by the legal beagles hired by Democratic state governments to challenge the Oder, it is merely forcing the Department of Homeland Security to "ensure the faithful execution of the immigration laws of the United States, including the INA, against all removable aliens, consistent with Article II, Section 3 of the United States Constitution and section 3331 of title 5, United States Code," and "make use of all available systems and resources to ensure the efficient and faithful execution of the immigration laws of the United States."

In other words, President Trump's Executive Order does not in fact create any new laws, and merely insists that existing laws be enforced. Surely that's not asking too much of the courts... is it?

Footnote: In response to the Edmonton cops' request for more information about the West Edmonton Mall assaults, one witness and one additional victim of the Syrian refugee pervert have come forward. Walt will bring you further news of the Syrian refugee pervert as and when it happens. Censorship be damned!

"Well-dressed fat lady" deemed offensive, clothing store clerk fired

Every now and then I rant about how fat is the new norm for the English-speaking peoples (in alphabetical order: Americans, Australians, Brits and Canadians). The AABC countries are facing an epidemic of not just fattitude but obesity. If you have any doubt about this, just watch a couple of episodes of Judge Judy or check out one of my favourite blogs, People of Walmart.

The females of our species seem more susceptible to the fat virus or gene or whatever it is. That's a fact of life, but not a fact you're supposed to state so plainly. Calling someone "fat" is now known as "body-shaming", an act of political incorrectness to which no decent slim person would ever stoop. (Fat people, of course, cannot stoop.) Just the other day, Scott "Dilbert" Adams wrote, "Most civilized people agree that so-called 'fat-shaming' has no place in our modern world. The unwritten rules of polite society say that a person’s appearance is out of bounds for criticism."

I disagree, because I believe most fat people could lose weight if they really wanted to, by eating less or exercising more or both. It's essentially a question of self-control and self-discipline, isn't it. But we can't say things like that. The PC thing to do is encourage fat people to feel good about themselves, no matter how gross they may look. Better they should think of themselves as "curvy" of "shapely" or "plus-sized". The last expression is that of a lady named Rebecca, pictured, who writes a blog called The Plus Side of Me.

Rebecca is the kind of BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) who shops at a "plus-size" retail chain called Addition Elle. (Geddit? -- Lots of pictures of BBWs on their website, if you're into that kind of thing.) They have an outlet in Edmonton, Canada, which has a vacancy at the moment for a saleslady/clerk/thingy. Why? Because they just fired one after she posted a comment online using the words "well-dressed fat lady".

Connie Levitsky, who only started working at Addition Elle in the West Edmonton Mall last week, said she was fired within days due to a Facebook post she made about the store's clientele. Her post read: "Conquering the world, one well-dressed fat lady at a time."

Ms Levitsky told CTV news her boss called that language unacceptable. "My manager specifically said 'fat' isn't a word that the company wants to associate themselves with," she said, noting that her manager said the company preferred words like "curvy" and "shapely". But Levitsky said those words are often associated with a certain highly-sexualized image of plus-sized women, like the ones featured in the company's lingerie ads. (Hey, I already gave you the link to the website!)

"If you go into any Addition Elle or Penningtons or Reitmans, you know that's not how all fat women look," she said. "So to use words like 'curvy' or 'shapely,' where you're essentially talking about a very specific type of fat woman, I think that's doing a disservice to the clientele that they were afraid I was going to drive away."

So let's have no more of this "fat-shaming". As an alternative to telling someone he/she is fat, Walt suggests asking politely, "Are you getting into the same elevator as I am? Perhaps I'd better wait for the next one." Or maybe just hold your tongue. You're welcome.

African refugee, disguised as white man, hijacks car, robs two banks, gets to stay in Canada

Here's a true story (ripped from Canada's National Post) from the Great No-longer-white North.

An Edmonton man admitted in court yesterday that he committed a carjacking and two quick bank robberies while wearing a mask so realistic that witnesses described him as white man, even though he was (and still is) black.

A year ago, Solomon Zemichael Teklie -- an Ethiopian admitted to Canada as a refugee -- carjacked a woman at an Edmonton mall, held up a bank at another mall, and then a second bank a couple of miles down the road, before being pulled over and arrested by police.

Crown prosecutor Carrie-Ann Downey told the court, "I don’t know where this mask was made, I don’t know where it came from, but it’s uncanny how much it looks like a real person. It was so realistic that each witness on this file thought that Mr. Teklie was white." In case the judge was blind, Ms Downey added, "He is not white."

Ms Downey went on to describe the cimes as "a planned spree". "Mr. Teklie had a plan," she said. "It might not have been a good plan, but it was a plan." So what was the plan? In a police interview, Mr. Teklie told officers he was addicted to cocaine and hoped to be deported to someplace warmer than Canada's north.

Gee, would that work? Errr, maybe not. Defence counsel Deborah Hatch said Mr. Teklie, born in Ethiopia, came to Canada after being in a Kenyan refugee camp for years. Canada's compassionate [foolish, surely! Ed.] immigration department made him a permanent resident. Now, due to his lack of documents, he is technically stateless and may not be deported after he serves his sentence.

Is further comment needed? I think not. That's all ye know and all ye need to know.

Footnote: Oops! That's not all ye need to know.  Ye need to know that Canada's caring, compassionate, "Conservative" government plans to admit between 25,000 and 30,000 under its "humanitarian" immigration programmes. Between 10,300 and 13,000 of them will be refugees. Slightly over half of those will be "government-assisted". The overwhelming majority of them will be Muslims from the Middle East and Africa.

Latest fashion for Muslim policewomen... guess where???

Here's the latest in police uniforms designed with political correctness in mind. These two policewomen [female police officers? lady cops? Ed.] are seen on foot patrol, but it's not because they're in Saudi Arabia, where women aren't allowed to drive cars. Noooo... they are in London, England, where the Muslim tail continues to wag the Christian/secular dog. [Must be some kind of mixed breed. Ed.

But the UK is not the only once-Western country where daughters of Islam in the forces will be authorized to cover their hair. Again, noooo.... Police in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada) -- once a bastion of redneck conservatism -- will this week unveil (`scuse the pun!) their own version of the uniform hijab.

According to the Notional Post, the head covering is designed to be worn under a standard uniform cap, so it won't be so noticeable as to give offence to men who think it's bad enough to have female cops in the first place.

The hijab will also be attached to something or other with snaps or velcro, so that it can be torn off easily in a fight. Walt can only speculate about what sort of charges would be laid against someone who assaulted a hijab-wearing copwoman. Would they be prosecuted under the Criminal Code or the Human Rights Act... or both?! The mind boggles.

Edmonton city councillor Scott McKeen [a keen Scot? maybe not. Ed.], called letting Muslim PWs wear the hijab a "gesture of inclusion" toward the local Muslim community which, he said, "can feel a little skittish at times" about Islamophobia. "One of the perceptions about Edmonton and Alberta is that we’re kind of redneck.... [Now we're] sort of saying we want to have a diverse police service that reflects the diversity and multicultural aspects of Edmonton. I’m proud of us."

Note from Ed.: Walt was unable to add a further comment, as he had to leave the room to avoid being sick on the keyboard.
