Abdullahi Hashi Farah, a follower of the Prophet Mohammed, was admitted to the USA as a "refugee" from Somalia, one of the shittiest shitholes of Africa. He made his way to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, which has the highest concentration of Somalis south of the Canadian border, and quickly got into the gangsta life. When complications with the law ensued, he fled to the Great No-longer-white North, crossing the 49th parallel illegally near Emerson MB. See "100s of Muslim invaders pour through swiss cheese-like Canuck border", WWW 6/3/17.
That was in October of 2017. After braving the cold and snow, Mr Farah was given a warm place to stay by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and eventually appeared before the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board, whose mission it is to give the tired, the poor and the huddled masses of the Third World an excuse to stay in Canada. This short video tells what happened next.
The amazing thing about this video is that it actually aired on The National, the main news telecast of Canada's state broadcaster, the CBC... in spite of the fact that Canada's Minister of Refugees, Immigration and Citizenship [sic], Ahmed Hussen, is himself a Muslim "refugee" from Somalia. Amazing... O Canada!

Why no-one wants to take in Somali "refugees"
When President Trump issued his latest proclamation, "Enhancing Vetting Capabilities and Processes for Detecting Attempted Entry into the United States by Terrorists or other Public-Safety Threats" last month, the usual gang of do-gooders, SJWs and bleeding hearts denounced it as "racist", "Islamophobic", yada yada yada, since all but one of the countries named are Muslim majority states. One of those is Somalia, a failed state which has been exporting "refugees", including Islamic terrorists, to Europe and America for decades.
Use the search feature at the right to get a complete list of the many times Walt has written about "Somalis", and you will soon see why people from that wretched shithole of a "nation" should be at the top of the list of prohibited visitors or immigrants. Here are links to some of the more recent posts.

Apparently no-one made the connection between the Islamic terrorist wannabe mentioned in the first post on my list, and the one mentioned in the last post. They are both Somali Muslims. So is the guy charged with attempted murder in the Edmonton "incident". He was first described by Canadian "authorities" and the lamestream media as a "refugee". Turns out his refugee claim was actually made in the USA, where he lived for some time until he was ordered deported. One step ahead of ICE, he then fled to the Great No-longer-white North, where he was welcomed by the gullible Canucks. The Mounties probably helped him with his luggage, as they have with the 1000s of illegals who have crossed the border at Emerson MB and Lacolle QC.
Speaking of those who crossed at Emerson -- see second story on the above list -- Torontonians may be dismayed, but will not be surprised to learn that almost all of them took the welfare and resettlement money given to them by the soft-hearted and soft-headed Canadians and made their way to Toronto, where they were welcomed into the ghetto known as "Dixon", in northern Etobicoke. That area is largely inhabited by Somali refugees, countrymen and perhaps kinsmen of Canada's Minister of Immigration and Refugees (sic), Ahmed Hussen.
Walt has e-mailed the Honourable Mr Husssen for comment on a spate of recent shootings in his community. Last week The Economist released a new index ranking Toronto as the safest city in North America. This comes as news to the residents of Dixon, who held a protest meeting last week (attended only by women and children -- the Somali men were elsewhere) to call for government help (= money) to deal with the seemingly relentless violence that cut short the lives of two young Somali "refugees" last this week alone.
Abdulkadir Bihi, 29, of Toronto was fatally shot last Thursday afternoon when police located him in a vehicle in front of an apartment building on Dixon Road. Police have since charged two suspects with first-degree murder in connection to the homicide. Four days later, a 16-year-old boy died of his injuries in hospital following a triple shooting in the parking lot of Kingsview Village School on Dixon Road and Islington Avenue.
The two other victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased was identified as Zakariye Ali of Toronto. All involved -- victims and shooters -- are Somalis.
Now we come to this weekend's bloody atrocity in the place those people came from -- Somalia, first and foremost among the world's failed states. It is hard to argue with the proposition that Somalia is a dangerous place, even for natives. Not only political conflict, but tribal and clan warfare have raged there since early 2009 -- and that's just the current phase of yet another Muslim civil war into which the West got sucked in the name of peace-keeping. Remember Black Hawk Down? That was about the Battle of Mogadishu, way back in 1993, in which American forces took on Somali militia fighters, with predictable results. (I wrote earlier today about the latest phase of the war in Iraq. See the pattern?)
Mogadishu this weekend was the scene of two massive truck bombings. The death toll is now (Monday morning) over 300, with a like number wounded and injured. Somalia's alleged government -- whose writ does not run even in the country's capital city -- is blaming the al-Shabaab, an affiliate of al-Qaeda. The Islamic terror attack was one of the worst in the world in recent years, and the worst in Somalia ever. Al-Shabaab, Africa's deadliest Islamic extremist group, often targets high-profile areas of Mogadishu. Earlier this year, it vowed to step up attacks after both the Trump administration and Somalia's recently elected president announced new military efforts against the group.
In the wake of the massacre, the one-worlders, bleeding hearts and chattering classes will be calling on President Trump to "temporarily" except Somalia from the list of countries whose nationals aren't allowed to enter the USA. "Be human!", they will clamour, pissing and moaning about those poor people whose lives are in danger, who want to come to America (and maybe onward to Canada, or the other way around) to find peace and security.
At the risk of appearing hard-hearted, Walt would suggest that the only threats to the lives and well-being of most Somalis are threats posed by other Somalis! If you don't believe me, look at Dixon. They bring their political and religious strife with them, as part of their psychological baggage. Better, for us at least, that they stay at home.
Footnote: Oh... Forgot to identify the three Somali "refugees" in the pix above. Check out "Minneapolis: Somali 'refugees' terrorize neighborhood", a story completely ignored by the Star-Tribune since it happened in July of 2016, during the election campaign. Briefly, a group of 20-30 Somali "refugees" terrorized a small neighbourhood filled with million dollar homes, screaming about "jihad" while waving Somali flags, shooting off fireworks and driving their cars onto sidewalks and lawns. They also threatened to kidnap women and rape them because "Sharia law says it's legal."

Majority of Canucks think government "too generous" to asylum-seekers
Ten days ago, in "Canada braces for tsunami of DREAMers", Walt stated, as the fact is, that the anti-immigrant backlash in Canada is growing stronger and stronger, as 1000s of bogus "refugees" and asylum-seekers -- most of whom have lived in the USA for years -- cross the Canadian border illegally at places like Emerson MB and Lacolle QC.
Here we see a group of illegals, carrying their meager possessions, being welcomed by the Mounties at Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle as they cross the border marked by the "No Pedestrians" sign. Since July 1st (Canada's sesquicentennial), nearly 8000 of these economic migrants -- that's what they are -- have walked across the border into Québec to make asylum claims.
Canada's Liberal -- very liberal -- government announced yesterday that the "temporary" reception centre at Lacolle will be made less temporary (not to say "permanent"), as hydro and other facilities are being installed and upgraded so the bogus refugees can be fed, sheltered and "processed" throughout the harsh Canadian winter.
How do Canuck taxpayers, who have to foot the bill -- minimum C$649 per month per asylum-seeker -- for all this openness to diversity feel about it? No need to guess. A recent public opinion poll from the Angus Reid Institute finds 53% of Canadians are of the opinion that the country's approach is too giving. That's more than eight times as many as those who say Canada is not being "generous enough".
Asked to weigh in on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s public statements about Canada welcoming refugees while also discouraging irregular border crossings, slightly more than half of Canadians (54%) say the PM’s messaging has been "unclear", and a majority (57%) disapprove of the Trudeau government's handling of the situation overall.
43% of the Canadians polled expected the number of illegal border crossings to increase "quite a bit" (23%) or "become a flood" (20%) before the end of 2017. (The poll was taken before Walt used the word "tsunami".) Asked how Canada should focus available resources, 70% would prioritize border monitoring and security over assistance to new arrivals, favoured by just 30%. No question was asked about the possibility of building a Trumpian wall, possibly for fear that the idea would appeal to a lot of Canucks who hadn't thought about it before.
Will Junior Trudeau and his Somali Muslim Minister of Refugees and Immigration pay any attention to this or other opinion polls? Errr, no. Lifetime pct .977.

VIDEO: "Canada is open!" comes back to bite Junior Trudeau
How President Trump must be laughing! Back in January, with a couple of days of being sworn in, he made good on his promise to cut illegal immigration and send all the bogus refugee claimants, asylum-seekers and criminal trash back where they came from. Much hand-wringing ensued, amongst the chattering classes in the New York-Washington-Los Angeles corridor. If all the illegal aliens were deported, who would clean their toilets, mow their lawns and diaper their kids? The illegals themselves went into panic mode until a white knight (pun intended) took the stage, in the form of Canuck Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, son and heir of PET Himself. "Canada is open!", he told the world. "Send us your huddled masses, your filth, your scum. We'll take all comers!"
Canada already had the reputation of lying prostrate with her legs open (so to speak), offering "refugees" and other invaders free housing, free medical care (including dental care which Canadians have to pay for), free education... hell, free everything! The trouble was it was so damned hard to get to. And it's cold too! So lassitude led a lot of the illegals who had already made it to the Land of the Free -- the one south of the 49th parallel -- to stay right where they were. Until President Trump started signing executive orders. Then, suddenly, Canada started to look pretty attractive, in spite of the cold.
There's nothing colder than a prairie winter, the frostbacks say. (And remember, "Don't eat the yellow snow!") That notwithstanding, this past March saw what the Canuck government called "a bit of a spike" in the number of "refugees" crossing the undefended border at places like Emerson MB. See "100s of Muslim invaders pour through swiss cheese-like Canuck border", WWW 6/3/17.
They were Africans -- Somalis, Ghanaians and the like -- fleeing the privations of... wait for it... Minnesota. A couple lost fingers and toes due to frostbite. One Ghanaian lady froze to death in a ditch. The denizens of Emerson grumbled a little bit and called on M Trudeau for help which never came -- no photo ops there -- but Emersonians didn't worry too much because they knew the unwanted guests would be heading for Toronto soon enough. Public opinion in Canada as a hole [Watch it! Ed.] was strongly in favour of turning back the illegals, but Trudeau's Liberal government paid no attention.
TheRebel's Brian Lilley, featured in this video, was one of those (including Walt) who said "Just wait until summer when the weather gets better." Sure enough, March's trickle has become a flood, not at Emerson, but at the small Québec border town of Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, where the scabrous masses are crossing the ditch which marks the border at the rate of 150 per day. That's according to the government. RCMP and border security agents say (off the record) that the real rate is double that.
To be clear, what these "asylum-seekers" -- mostly Haitians this time -- are doing is illegal. RCMP officers stationed at the ditch dutifully shout out warnings that this is an illegal border crossing and that anyone attempting to enter Canada will be arrested. The warnings are immediately ignored, because the entire point of this trek is to get arrested, to get out of the American immigration system and into the Canadian one, where their cases will take years to be heard, while the claimants suck on the Canuck tit the whole time.
The oh-so-polite mounties help the "migrants" with their designer luggage and herd them aboard the bus which shuttles back and forth, 24/7, between the border and Montréal's Olympic Stadium -- the infamous "Big Owe" -- where they are put up until "permanent accommodation" (!) can be found. That's a telling phrase, coming from the mouth of Québec's Minister of Immigration, for it gives the lie to the Liberal fiction that not all of the invaders will be allowed to stay.
Over 50% of these bogus refugee claims are rejected, the government says. Let's do the math. 150 border-jumpers per day (at Lacolle alone) X 365 days a year X 50% means over 100,000 unemployed, unskilled and unwelcome "newcomers" will have been admitted to the Not-so-great, Not-so-white North in 2017. As Brian Lilley warns in his "I told you so" video, this will not end well for Canada and real Canadians.

What's causing the follies of Donald Trump?
In "The portrait of Dorian Trump", 18/5/17, I admitted to some disappointment in the first four months of the Trump presidency, and in The Donald himself. It/he hasn't been a disaster, but it/he hasn't been the MAGA Revolution that we were promised and hoped and prayed for.
What happened? Just by coincidence, my weekend reading included The March of Folly, by the eminent historian Barbara Tuchman (Knopf/Ballantine 1984), in which I found the following passage on the subject of the expulsion from France of the Huguenots by Louis XIV, the Sun King.
The peculiarity of the whole affair was its needlessness, and this underlines two characteristics of folly: it often does not spring from a great design, and its consequences are frequently a surprise. The folly lies in persisting thereafter..
With acute if unwitting significance, a French historian wrote of the Revocation [of the Edict of Nantes] that "Great designs are rare in politics; the King proceeded empirically and sometimes impulsively."
His point is reinforced from an unexpected source in a perceptive comment by Ralph Waldo Emerson, who cautioned, "In analyzing history do not be too profound, for often the causes are quite superficial."
This is a factor usually overlooked by political scientists who, in discussing the nature of power, always treat it, even when negatively, with immense respect. They fail to see it as sometimes a matter of ordinary men walking into water over their heads, acting unwisely or foolishly or perversely as people in ordinary circumstances frequently do.
The trappings and impact of power deceive us, endowing the possessors with a quality larger than life. Shorn of his tremendous curled peruke, high heels and ermine, the Sun King was a man subject to misjudgment, error and impulse -- like you and me....
Folly is a child of power. We all know, from unending repetitions of Lord Acton's dictum, that power corrupts. We are less aware that it breed folly; that the power to command frequently causes failure to think; that the responsibility of power often fades as its exercise augments.
The overall responsibility of power is to govern as reasonably as possible in the interest of the state and its citizens. A duty in that process is to keep well-informed, to heed information, to keep mind and judgment open and to resist the insidious spell of wooden-headedness. If the mind is open enough to perceive that a given policy is harming rather than serving self-interest, and self-confident enough to acknowledge it, and wise enough to reverse it, that is a summit in the art of government.

UPDATED: Nearly 50% of Canucks want border-jumpers deported
This is a follow-up to Walt's post, two weeks ago, about the hundreds of Muslim invaders crossing into Canada through the unguarded borders near Emerson MB and Lacolle QC. This picture of a woman who claims to be Syrian being watched (but not detained) by a Mountie says it all.
The reason why the Gendarme isn't doing anything is that, thanks to a loophole in an agreement with the USA, the cops can't just force the "refugees" to do a right-about-face and go back to the safe country from which they are "fleeing" (and for which most of them already have visas). Nor can they arrest them, even though entering Canada illegally is a crime, because (get this!) they are not yet officially in Canada! Instead, they must take them to the nearest Canadian Border Services office or agent, where they must be allowed to claim asylum. After that it's off to the welfare office for their free food, free houses, and (of course) free legal aid.
If you were an average Canuck, struggling to keep warm in your toque and lumberjack shirt, how would you feel about this? Anecdotal evidence suggests a great many Canucks are supremely pissed off. Reuters commissioned Ipsos-Reid to conduct a survey to find out if the rumours of resentment are true. According to their poll, released today, nearly half of Canadians want to deport people who are illegally crossing into Canada from the United States. A similar number disapprove of how Prime Minister Justin "Hairboy" Trudeau is handling the influx of Muslim migrants.
4 out of 10 respondents said the border-crossers -- most of whom are from the Middle East and north Africa -- could make Canada less safe, underlining the potential political risk for M Trudeau's Liberal government. Junior Trudeau has come under pressure over the flow of illegal migrants. He is questioned about it every time he appears in parliament, from opponents on the left, who want more asylum-seekers to be allowed in, and critics on the right, who say the migrants pose a potential security risk.
According to the poll, conducted between March 8th and 9th, Canadians are just as concerned about illegal immigration as their American neighbours. 48% of responders said they supported "increasing the deportation of people living in Canada illegally." When asked specifically about the recent border crossings from the USA, the same number said Canada should "send these migrants back to the US." 36% said Canada should "accept these 'migrants'" and let them seek refugee status.
Greg Janzen, the reeve (chief elected official) of Emerson MB, told Reuters, "There are so many people in the world who want to come in and go through the right channels. That’s what’s pissing most people off. These guys are jumping the border."
The ironic thing is that almost all of the illegal migrants interviewed by Reuters in Canada said they had been living legally in the United States and had applied for asylum there, but fled to Canada "for fear of being caught up in President Trump's immigration crackdown." Mr Trump must be laughing long and loud. He can say, rightly, that he didn't deport these poor downtrodden victims of Islamophobia. They left the USA of their own accord! LMAO!
UPDATE 21/3/17: Manitoba had the largest weekend influx of refugees illegally entering the province from the United States so far this year -- a situation that has local officials on edge, with many more expected follow in their footsteps as the weather improves. Video obtained by CTV News shows 29 people walked into the province from neighbouring U.S. states on Saturday and Sunday in a series of groups.

100s of Muslim invaders pour through swiss cheese-like Canuck border
"Welcome to Canada" signs are being hurriedly torn down at small towns adjacent to the porous US-Canada border as hundreds of bogus refugees trudge through unfenced, snow-covered fields and woods to take advantage of Canuck leader Justin Trudeau's Statue of Liberty moment. Following the announcement of President Trump's travel ban, The Hair Apparent tweeted, "We are now the beacon of hope for desperate refugees." [I love Canadian beacon. Ed.] Much to no-one's surprise, scores of Muslims who have already found refuge in the USA are taking him at his word.
What started as a trickle -- see "Welcome to Canada, Syrian refugees!", WWW 8/2/17 -- looks like turning into a flood as the cruel Canadian winter grudgingly gives way to spring. [No more purple prose, please. Ed.] Post turtles (see yesterday's post) have descended on places like Emerson MB to encourage locals to welcome the unassimilable foreigners while they (the politicians) figure out what to do to stem the flow while preserving Canada's image as a tolerant society.
The Mounties, Canadian Border Services (sic) and immigration officials (headed by Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship -- himself a Somali Muslim refugee) have been "running scenarios" to come up with a strategy to repel the Muslim invaders without being seen to do so. The results of their talk-fest will be put before the Canuck cabinet tomorrow.
Buried in official announcements and pronouncements is the fact that they have been looking at links between distinct groups of border-crossers that give the lie to the SJW propaganda that all these poor "refugees" are being pushed into Canada by the volatile political climate south of the border. Speaking to Canadian Press off the record, two government minions confirmed hat many of the people coming into Québec hold US visas issued at the American embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These visas were obtained to use the US as a transit point to get to Canada and claim asylum, all this being planned long before the November election.
Hundreds of new claims for asylum are being fed into an already clogged system, forcing M Trudeau's Liberals to put more resources into the refugee determination process and the agencies that dole out free houses, free medical and dental care and other benefits to poor "newcomers" who otherwise would have only their gold and jewellery to fall back on.
Chris Friesen, director of settlement services for the Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia told Canadian Press, We are the endpoint." While President Trump's executive order may be pushing people into Canada, he said, the Trudeau government's repeated messaging on welcoming diversity and immigration is a pretty strong pull factor.
Not much can be done to stop the border-crossers, said Ward Elcock, who advised the former Conservative government on illegal migration after years running Canada's spy agency. Showing the insight for which Canucks are famous, he suggested that Canada keep talking to the Americans to find the source of the problem. Still, he admitted, no matter how many enter through illegal crossings, some voices will try to make it a political issue. "It is seen as, you didn't control the flow of people into the country," he said.
The view from the front line -- from the men and women of Canadian Border Services -- is not quite as sanguine as those expressed by Messrs Friesen and Elcock. Jean-Pierre, president of the Customs and Immigration Union, which represents border officers, says Canada should create a 300-person team to patrol the areas between official ports of entry, comparing the current situation to "swiss cheese". Yesterday, he told CTV's Question Period that his members say the number of illegal crossings is higher than what officials admit publicly. "The frontline officers are actually the ones giving me the numbers and they're slightly different. They're higher right now...."
"The RCMP doesn't have the resources", he said, "and what we're asking the government at this point in time, we want to make sure that we should be closing that gap. We should have border guards actually patrolling these [areas]." The Canadians who live in places like Emerson MB and Lacolle QC couldn't agree more!
UPDATE 8/3/17: Nineteen asylum seekers — two Tuesday night and 17 on Wednesday morning — were rescued while trying to cross the Canada-U.S. border during a winter storm near Emerson, Man., the town's reeve says. Greg Janzen said one person suffered a broken arm while making the trek through a bitterly cold storm that brought snow and high winds to Manitoba. Wednesday's group included a pregnant woman and children. Click here to read the story on the CBC News website.

The Muslim invasion of Canada has begun (but not where you think)
No, we're not talking about the south Asian majority cities of Brampton and Mississauga, Ontario. According to the Canadian Broadcorping Castration (CBC), hundreds of African refugees and asylum-seekers have found the weak spot in the Canadian border, at Emerson, Manitoba, about 100 miles south of Winterpeg, which is to say 100 miles from nowhere.
The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) -- that's what the polite Canucks call the border patrol -- told the CBC that 100s of people have entered Canada illegally near the Emerson border crossing, in search of refuge. The CBC started investigating following a report earlier this week that two "refugees" from Ghana were hospitalized in Winnipeg after getting bitten by ole Jack Frost after getting lost near the border on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Those two weren't the only ones. The CBSA has confirmed at least 398 refugee claimants have tried to get over the Emerson border illegally between April 2013 and November 2016. They say "at least" because the ones they refer to are just the ones who got caught! Those who are stupid or unlucky enough to be intercepted by the RCMP are taken to the Emerson border crossing, where, instead of being pushed back into the USA, they're allowed to make a refugee claim!
The CBSA spokesthingy interviewed by the CBC added that the majority of claimants entering near Emerson are from Somalia. Almost all Somalis are Muslims. Some of them are Islamic terrorists, sworn to kill us infidels. There are 1000s of Somali "refugees" in the USA, where they have established ghettos in the Minneapolis-St Paul are. Some of them... OK, a lot of them... are in the USA illegally, and now that The Donald is threatening to round them up, they're fleeing to Canada, where they know the Liberal government of PET Jr. will welcome them with open arms and open chequebooks.
The CBSA declined to comment when asked by CBC how hundreds of illegal claimants could be making their way into Canada. The agency said it is only responsible for designated border crossings and not the areas that surround them. Talk to the Mounties, the CBSA said, because patrolling the surrounding area is their job. How they expect Mounties to get their men -- especially in the dark when it's hard to see them -- was not made clear.
Similarly left unclear was the question of how many of these bogus "refugee" claimants were able to stay in Canada. After paperwork is filled out and sealed with red tape, the asylum-seeker wannabes have their photos taken -- that's when they smile -- and then are released and given dates, sometimes a year or more hence, for hearings by the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board. How many claims are allowed, how many are refused, and how many of the potential terrorists are deported? All that information is confidential. Privacy, you know. Human rights. Mustn't encourage Islamophobia. Canadians have nothing to fear... eh??!!
