"Free Palestine!" (the new "Allahu akbar!") in Boulder CO

Looks like "Free Palestine!" is the new "Allahu akbar!", at least in English-speaking countries. That's what Mohamed Sabry Soliman was yelling in Boulder CO yesterday as he used a homemade flamethrower [Ed., see if you can find a "how to" video on YouTube] to torch several Jews, including children, who had gathered to call for Hamas to release the Israeli hostages.

Kind of a strange look for a fanatical follower of the Religion of Peace, but the FBI has confirmed that Mr Soliman is a 45-year-old Egyptian national whose visa, granted during the Biden administration, expired in March of this year.

They also confirm that he used a Molotov cocktails, shown in the photos, along with a flamethrower to attack elderly demonstrators belonging to "Run For Their Lives", a grassroots organization that facilitates global run and walk events calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

In a departure from the usual obfuscation about the motive being unclear, the authorities now concede that the dastardly attack was "targeted". They have so far refrained, though, from pronouncing the words "Islamic" or "terrorism".

Mr Soliman is resting comfortably in hospital, recovering from minor burns, while the usual suspects organize mostly peaceful protests about racism, police brutality and the "Israeli genocide" in Gaza.

Trudeau speaks out for freedom of expression, right to protest

Testifying before the Whitewash Rouleau Commission on Friday, Trudeau II, Emperor of All Canuckistan, said he was "serene" and "confident" that he had done the right thing in invoking the Police State Emergencies Act to quash the peaceful Freedom Convoy that upset the Laurentian elites last winter.

Yesterday, speaking of the peaceful protests over Wuhan flu lockdowns that have rocked China in recent days, the same Trudeau said it's crucial that protesters be allowed to speak up. "Canadians are watching very closely," he said. "Obviously everyone in China should be allowed to express themselves (and) should be allowed to share their perspectives, and indeed protest."

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more. Mr Socks added, "We're going to continue to ensure that China knows we'll stand up for human rights. We'll stand with people who are expressing themselves. We also need to make sure that China, and places around the world, are respecting journalists and their ability to do their job."

Pretty rich, eh. But kudos to Blackie McBlackface for having learned that in politics you succeed by learning to speak out of both sides of your mouth at the same time. Sez Walt, "Bah!" And the ordinary people of Canada respond, "Baa baa."

Unrest grows, at home and abroad

Walt has been quiet for the last couple of days, waiting for other shoes to drop in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and the Excited States of America. Here's the recap.

The presidential election in the Philippines turned out as Walt predicted. (Lifetime pct .992) Bongbong, aka Ferdinand Marcos Jr., son of the late Philippines dictator of the same name, is riding on a tsunami of votes.

He has 30 million so far, more than double the total of his rival, the current Vice-President, Maria Leonra "Leni" Robredo.

36 years after protesters drove his dad out of office, Bongbong will become Pinas' latest "strongman president". Ms Robredo, predicts that his election will sanctify and perpetuate the abuses of his father.

Against all such criticism, in Marcos strongholds in Bisayas (the nicest part of PI, IMHO), the historic family name holds an almost messianic appeal over impressionable and celebrity-struck people who don't know or don't believe the tales of corruption and dictatorship that marked his father's 21-year rule.

In the province of Leyte, ancestral home of his 92-year-old mother Imelda of the 1000 Shoes, the junior Marcos is seen as a man of the people, even though he's lived a life of wealth and privilege few Pinoys can imagine. Such is the power of political family names, like "Kennedy" and "Clinton" and [Next item please. Ed.]

In another poor country which seems to be sliding from third-world status to fourth-world, Sri Lanka, mostly peaceful protests against leftist misrule have turned violent.

Walt has lost touch with his agents in Colombo and Kandy [Are you there? Send word! Ed.] but understands that a curfew is now in force across the country after mobs burned down homes belonging to the ruling Rajapaksa family and their cronies (such as government minister Sananth Nishantha, whose blazing house is shown below) amid mounting anger at the economic crisis.

Last night's violence capped a day of unrest that saw Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa quit, but this failed to bring calm. Crowds besieged his residence, from which he was evacuated in a pre-dawn operation amid tear gas and warning shots.

Protests are continuing despite the curfew. Seven people have died and over 200 have been injured so far this week. The island-wide curfew has been extended until Wednesday morning as authorities seek to quell the violence.

Back in the USA, although Antifa and other woke, pro-abortion terrorists have mounted "mostly peaceful protests" in such leftist strongholds as Seattle and Portland OR, their efforts to fire up the citizenry [No more puns please. Ed.] haven't held a candle [Watch it! Ed.] to those of the righteously angry demonstrators in Sri Lanka.

Public opinion polls measuring the reaction to the leaked draft of the SCOTUS decision in the Hobbs case, suggest that the majority of Americans won't support attempts by Democrats and other liberals and leftists to codify "women's reproductive health rights", i.e. the right to kill babies if having them is inconvenient.

Meanwhile, Walt awaits news -- any news at all -- about the Marshal of the Supreme Court's supposed efforts to find and prosecute the source of the leak. Let me name names once again. Reports all over the Net identify Justice Sonia Maria Sotomayor and/or her clerk, Amit Jane, as the source of the leak. Has the Marshal interviewed either of them? We should be told!

Trudeau to establish special court for Canuck protesters

Note from Ed.: Our legal beagle has just sent in the following report, of so startling a nature that we are posting it immediately, without receiving independent confirmation. Corrections may follow. Or not. As the case may be.

Blackie McBlackface, Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, and "Public Safety" Minister Marco Mendacious are about to announce that in light of the failure of the police and provincial courts to deal effectively (read: convict) with the freedom-loving truckers protesting in Ottawa and elsewhere, they will establish a new federal court, to be known as the Court of the Red Star Chamber.

Although the new court will not be bound by the niceties of the Criminal Code or common law, it will not able to impose the death penalty. However, it will have the power to employ "enhanced interrogation" (read: torture) to deal quickly and efficiently with anyone expressing (or even holding) unacceptable (read: anti-liberal) views.

The first two judges nominated by Mr Socks are the Hon. William Blair, Chief of the Toronto Police "Service" at the time of the G20 riots and currently unemployed (read: out of his depth as Minister of Emergency Preparedness), and Peter "Moves" Sloly, Chief of the Ottawa Police until his resignation on Monday.

It is expected that the new court will leap into inaction later today, in order to gain the advantage of surprise. Said Judge Blair, "Nobody expects the Red Star Chamber!"

The United States Department of Justice (sic) is said to be following this interesting development closely.

VIRAL VIDEO: Trudeau in his bunker, hiding from Canuck truckers

It was only a matter of time until someone did this. Burning up the social media across Canada. Congratulations to the creators, from Poor Len, Walt [and Ed.! Ed.]

1000s of people with "unnaceptable views" have vowed to stay put in the world's second-coldest capital until their demands are met. Even the lickspittle Canuck media are starting to say that Mr Socks isn't handling this well, and should at least say something, even from his bunker.

Not all Canadians are deluded and delusional liberals

If you believe the Canadian lamestream media -- the CBC (Canadian Broadcorping Castration) or read the Toronto Red Star, Maclean's quasi-magazine or the Groan and Wail -- you would think that 99% of the residents [legal and illegal, Ed.] of Canuckistan were true believers in the liberal ideals of their Prime Minister, Blackie McBlackface, and his coterie of anti-Trump, anti-Caucasian, anti-Western do-good wienies. You would be wrong.

Fortunately for the Great No-longer-white North, there are some Canucks who do not believe in M Trudeau's "post-national", one-world ideal, and who will not be silenced. Pictured above, on the Canada for Trump Facebook page, is a lady who said she had travelled to Texas to rally for Still-President Trump.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there are more! Pictured below are Canadian nurses Kristen Nagle and Sarah Choujounian, first and second from left, with other members of Global Frontline Nurses in a photo posted to Ms Choujounian's Instagram account.
Where are they? Why, in Washington DC, on the steps of Capitol Hill! When was that? On January 6th! And why were GFN's members there? According to a GFN press release, the gathering was intended to "share insight about COVID fraud and corruption inside hospitals."

For the sin of attending an event which was contemporaneous with the mass protest against the 2020 fake election, Ms Nagle, a neonatal ICU nurse from London ON, and Ms Choujounian, a registered practical nurse from Toronto, are being "investigated" [read: persecuted] by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

The hospital at which Ms Nagle worked has been placed her on unpaid leave. Ms Choujounian's employer, a long-term care home, says she is no longer with them. It seems that in spite of the "Covid crisis", the services of whistle-blowers are not "essential".

The lamestream media consistently portray President Trump as a misogynist who delights in grabbing women by the pussy and is reviled by all educated suburban women. These Canadian ladies, apparently, are exceptions. They are being ostracized for daring to speak out, but Walt hopes they know they aren't alone.

Catholics kneel in Mass protest

Ed. here. Walt telephoned from his self-imposesd exile to say that if we keep reposting such excellent pieces, he may never return. Was that a threat or a promise? Who knows? He did recommend the following piece which appeared yesterday in the Babylon Bee.

Catholics Kneel In Mass Protest,
Then Stand, Then Sit, Then Kneel, Then Stand

In a Mass protest Sunday, Catholics around the world knelt in protest of something or another, then stood up in another apparent protest against the previous protesting, then sat down—the meaning of which is unclear— then knelt again, then stood up again.

It was all very confusing to religion and political commentators.

"Maybe they're mad about Luther still? I don't know," said one Protestant analyst. "It could be racism or something, but Catholics in every country from pretty much every ethnicity are kneeling and standing and sitting, so that can't be it."

"The messaging these days is very unclear. All I know is we are protesting something," said one devout Roman Catholic. "Like, I’m not sure if the kneeling is the protest part or if it's the standing. I know when athletes kneel for the national anthem, that’s a protest, but, then again, just last week one athlete kept standing and everyone else was kneeling and that was considered a protest. It's all very ambiguous."

Unfortunately, Pope Francis added to the confusion when he gave a homily about how brown fragility is contributing to systemic racism, which is then causing both police brutality and global warming. During this time he instructed the Roman Catholic faithful around the world to repeat the cycle of kneeling, then standing, and then sitting, and then kneeling, and then standing again.

Cardinals close to Pope Francis attempted to clarify that the Pope was not saying anything about the sexual abuse scandal in the church at this time and was trying to focus his message on global warming, which he believed needed to be combatted by the repeated kneel-stand-sit protest routine each Sunday.

We trust the good, and very funny folks at the BB won't mind our republishing this. Walt reads their blog every day and recommends it highly!

Austrian polizei fine man for farting in their general direction

No, this story was not made up by the Monty Pythons.

The Grauniad reports that a man in Vienna has been fined €500 ($563 in real money) for breaking wind loudly in front of police. The Österreich newspaper reported that the penalty stemmed from an incident on June 5th and that the offender was fined for offending public decency.

City police wrote on Twitter "of course no one is reported for accidentally letting one go," but added that the man had behaved provocatively and uncooperatively during an encounter with officers that preceded the incident. He got up from a park bench, they said, looked at officers and "let go a massive intestinal wind apparently with full intent."

Inspektor Katzenhammeer noted that the decision could be appealed against.

Note from Ed.: You can't imagine how long I've waited to be able to use this meme. Walt said the day would never come, but he was wrong! {Lifetime pct .977.)

The real George Floyd

The "protests" are still going on, it seems. Before the Vatican opens a cause for declaring him a saint, they'd better take a look at his rap sheet. (Pun intended.)

Thanks to Agent 35 for passing this along.

Think about this! In honour of George Floyd, statues of General Robert E. Lee and other true American heroes are being pulled down in Virginia and other states and cities whose political "leaders" are eager to jump on the "anti-racism" bandwagon well ahead of the upcoming elections. It's disgusting!

Too good to not repost!

No matter which side you're on -- and there are two sides to the current madness -- it's funny! Right? Although, as a sometime visitor to Buffalo, I have to question the truth of this. I mean, where would you find a clean sidewalk in Buffalo? Click here to read the article in The Onion.

VIDEO: "There'll be no more clean water, no more animals!"

As I was saying, there's a heap big protest going on across Canada, as a handful of Indians (politically incorrect term for "First Nations") and hundreds of radical left activists block railway tracks to protest the building of a natural gas pipeline across "Indian land" claimed by the Wet'suwet'en people of northern British Columbia.

The blockades have brought traffic on much of Canada's already struggling rail network to a halt, but according to the Prime Minister of Canuckistan "reconciliation" trumps economics, and the "unfortunate situation" must be resolved through "dialogue, not force". Walt finds it strange that Mr Socks hasn't sent his ace dialoguer, Chrystia Freeland (now Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Nothing) to negotiate with the protesters. "These people are impossible! I'm going home!"

Here's a very short video scraped from CTV News yesterday, showing what happens when you to try to dialogue with climate alarmists and professional protesters.

"There won't be any more clean drinking water or any more animals!" Dontcha love it? And by the way, does that guy sound like an Indian to you? In Canada, First Nations people have a distinctive way of speaking, which you'll hear if you watch North of 60, a great drama series [soap opera? Ed.] produced in the 1990s by (incredibly) the CBC, and still viewable on APTN (the Aboriginal Peoples TV Network) and YouTube. But I digress. That snowflake sounds like a whitey to me. And why is it that all these protesters are wearing antifa-style masks and balaclavas? Just askin'...

UPDATE ADDED at 0725: Canada's Public Safety and Emergency Unpreparedness Minister Bill Blair has just announced that the Mounties in British Columbia have agreed to withdraw from their position on Wet'suwet'en territory and barricade themselves in a nearby town named L'alamo. [Ed., please check town name.]

So Just In (from Africa) Trudeau's Liberal government has caved to a few dozen radical activists who don't even have the support of the majority of the Wet'suwet'en people, as represented by their elected (as opposed to hereditary) chiefs. In today's Canuckistan, the mob rules!

1-minute video: Pro-Don Cherry protest, Toronto, Nov. 13th

"Mike from Simcoe-Grey County-Clearwater Township" is another of the tens of thousands of Canadians outraged by the firing of Canadian icon Don Cherry from the "Coach's Corner" segment of Hockey Night in Canada. He's spreading the word of a protest to be held tomorrow, November 13th, at 1300 EST, at the SportsNet studios in the heart of the Little Green Apple (Woke Mayor John Tory, Prop.)

It's too far for Walt to attend, but I'll be there in spirit, and wish all you fans of free speech (and foes of political correctness) the best of luck. You'll need it!

Funerals as "acts of resistance" portend coming civil war

The usual array of anti-Trumpers -- the alt-left, antifa, Clintonites et al. -- are portraying the politicization of the funerals of Aretha Franklin and John McCain as a triumph for the "resistance" -- the sufferers from TRD who still can't get it into their heads that Donald J. Trump won the election of November 2016 ans is now the 45th president of the Excited States of America. That's the fact, ma'am, whether you voted for him or not, whether you agree with him or not, and whether you like it or not.

Walt doesn't read USA Today (the paper for those who move their lips while they read), and wasn't aware that they have a website, but one of our readers does, and passed along "Tiger Woods' comments about President Trump are surprising to no one" (28/8/18) in which the Tiger is quoted as follows: "He's the president of the United States and you have to respect the office. No matter who's in the office, you may like, dislike the personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office."

Indeed. The worrying thing is that those who think that it's not just acceptable but a "moral imperative" to oppose every single thing POTUS does, says or even thinks -- they claim to be able to read his mind -- are getting more strident by the day, encouraging all and sundry to "rise up" to protest and obstruct everything that the Trump administration does or tries to do. If the acts of protest include violence, they say, so be it. That's all the President's fault because, errr, because he's the president!

Don't listen to these idiots! Listen to Walt! Even in the irrational world of the social Democratic left, thought precedes behavior. If you do not accept the will of the people, as expressed in the election, and continue to behave as if Donald Trump lost and Hellery Clinton won, you are not only out of touch with objective reality, you are participating in the breakdown of the established American social order and are part of the countdown to the coming civil war.

UPDATED: What really happened in Québec City

Poor Len Canayen, having very little to do until the start of hockey season, has been keeping a sharp eye on the situation in the Canadian province of Québec, which has been inundated this summer with 1000s of "refugees" and asylum-seekers -- mostly from Haïti -- who have been fleeing across the world's longest undefended border to escape Trumpian "persecution" and (really) get more generous welfare and other benefits. See "1000s of Haïtians invade Canada as Trudeau government dithers", WWW 17/8/17.

UPDATE: Speaking today at Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle QC, where about 98% of the invaders are crossing the US-Canada border while the Mounties stand by helplessly, Public Security Minister Ralph Goodale says he suspects that human smugglers [as opposed to robot smugglers? Ed.] may be the cause of the "spike". Nothing to do with Junior's putting out the welcome mat, then.

As you might expect (but won't be able to tell from reading the Canuck lamestream media) there has been a huge anti-immigrant backlash in la Belle Province, so much so that Prime Minister "Junior" Trudeau interrupted his march in yesterday's "Pride" parade in Montréal (in which he walked arm in arm with Ireland's new gay Indian prime minister) to denounce those who protest against the invasion and proclaim that Canada won't be defined by "a bunch of racists".

He was referring, no doubt, to La Meute (= The Pack, as in wolf pack), a group of Québécois which originated in a Facebook group and now has 43,000 members. They believe Québec is under the threat of Sharia law and radical, and are staunchly against immigration. Even as Hairboy spoke, La Meute was gathering in an underground garage in the centre of Québec City, in preparation for a march on the National Assembly (= legislature) for which they had a permit issued by the city government.

In anticipation of the protest march, several hundred loony left, antifa and "human rights" protesters assembled above ground, intent on "shutting down the racists". Here's a photo of some of the "counter-demonstrators". Note the hijabs, the masks and face coverings, and the red flags (including a Soviet Union flag worn as a mask). The flag with the depiction of an Indian (sorry for the un-PC word) is a symbol of the fight for "indigenous rights".

The alt-left counter-protesters had no permit. Their gathering was declared illegal by police when black-clad militants began jostling with authorities and threw projectiles at the police and members of La Meute. Maxime Fiset, who is paid by taxpayers for his "work" at the province's "anti-radicalization centre", admitted that their actions were violent. "I'm mad at such a display of violence," he told Radio-Canada, "because it was useless. It's a public relations victory for La Meute."

He looked on, ashen-faced, as members of La Meute emerged from their bunker and marched silently and peacefully down the street to the National Assembly... with a police escort. Here's a photo.

The leaders of La Meute were triumphant, claiming the group showed discipline when faced with provocation. Said Patrick Beaudry, one of the group's founders, "We made our point. I really believe this day will be the day La Meute gets out peacefully, just to the show the people what we really are."

Compare yesterday's march in Québec City with the events in Charlottesville VA. What began as a peaceful protest by the right was met with violence incited and initiated by the left. The protesters had a permit; the counter-protesters did not. Unlike in Charlottesville, in Québec City there was violence only by one side -- the alt-left side. (One of the leaders of the counter-protest was arrested and dragged away from the scene by police.) The difference in Québec City was that the police did what they are supposed to do, enforcing the law and protecting freedom of assembly and freedom of speech. Perhaps, just this once, Americans could learn something from Canadians.

VIDEO: On to Charlottesville!

Reports are reaching us of an "antifa" "counter-protest" held last night at the Charlottesville campus of the University of Virginia. The lefties and SJWs are peeing in their pants in advance of tonight's "Unite the Right" rally, which is expected to be one of the largest white power gatherings in the USA in at least a decade.

Surrounded by hundreds of white men carrying torches, chanting "blood and soil", "white lives matter" and "you will not replace us," Emily Gorcenski, one of the counter-protesters tweeted, "I am safe. I am not fine. What I just witnessed was the end of America."

A supporter of the Unite the Right movement counter-tweeted, "The fear we instill in them today only fuels our victory tomorrow."

If I could get to Charlottesville before sunset, I'd be there. Good to see the straight (I presume) white guys pushing back! You betcha!

UPDATE: The Governor of Virginia has declared a state of emergency! We have some video here from Fox News.

VIDEO: Rusty Humphries sings "Sneakin' into the USA"

There's just soooo much stuff floating around the Internet that Walt, even with the assistance of Poor Len [and Ed.! Ed.] can't keep up with it. What would I do without the assistance of my Agents and assiduous readers. Thanks to one of the above, who shall remain anonymous, for sending along the link to this very cogent comment on illegal immigration to the Land of the Somewhat Free and Occasionally Brave.

Walt agrees! It's time to take back America! Click here to visit Sheriff Joe Arpaio's website (WOBC2.com) and get your kit. Lots of good links there too -- "birther" sites and others of interest to searching souls, frustrated taxpayers and individuals who are troubled by corrupt big government and complacent, enabling lamestream media.
