"Allahu akbar!" ISIS claims responsibility for Greektown shooting

One of Canada's "independent" broadcasters scooped the state-owned Canadian Broadcorping Castration a few minutes ago with a report that ISIS (or ISIL or IS or the Islamic State -- whatever) has claimed responsibility for Sunday night's mass shooting in Toronto's Greektown. However, they have not provided any evidence or support for the unsubstantiated claim.

CTV is passing on a Reuters report which quotes a statement released by the Islamic terrorists' AMAQ news agency, which referred to 29-year-old Faisal Hussain, pictured, as "a soldier of the Islamic State" who "carried out the attack in response to calls to target the citizens of the coalition countries." That's pretty much a set-in-cold-type statement from ISIS, which regularly claims responsibility for attacks carried out in the West, but those attacks are not always found to be inspired or directed by the terrorist organization.

The CBC may be a bit slow to pick up this story, since it contradicts the official Liberal government line, parroted just yesterday by Ralph Goodale, the Minister of Public Safety [sic], that the matter was being investigated by Toronto police (read: not by the feds) and that neither the "incident" nor Mr Hussain were in any way "connected with national security". I've never understood why poor ole Ralph, a nice guy from Saskatchewan, has to carry the can on the terrorism file. Why don't they ask Just In Trudeau or the Somali-born Minister of Refugees &c [sic].

Toronto police, meanwhile, have come up with a theory about where Mr Hussain got his gun. As Walt told you, the Thorncliffe Park area of Toronto, where the family lived, is infested with "refugees" and with gangs of Afghans and other scum. Mr Hussain's older brother (who is conveniently can't be interviewed, since he's in hospital in a coma) had ties to one of those gangs, Inspector Knacker says, and probably gave the gun to his kid brother.

The cops have executed a search warrant in the Pakistani family's apartment on the 7th floor of the refugee camp at 43 Thorncliffe Park and are expected to have something more to say in the next day or two about what they found.

  1. If the gun attack was done by a crazy psychotic and not a radicalized Muslim driven to participate in an act of personal Jeehad where is the evidence of past psychotic behaviour especially in the neighbourhood of Thorncliffe Park?
