It doesn't matter where you live. The threat is real...

If you watched "Will mass migration be the death of the West?" and thought, "It's not my problem. Maybe it's too late for Britain and France, but there aren't many Islamists in my community. Why should I worry?", Walt says: Look around you! They may not be there in numbers yet, but they're coming, and almost none of our political and religious leaders is trying to stop them.

There's one way that you can do your part to stem the flood. Elections are coming soon not just in the US of A but in other countries, states and municipalities. Use the power of the ballot! Throw your support behind politicians you can trust [??? Ed.] to work for totally closed borders and the remigration of the criminals and terrorists who are already amongst us.

You think it can't be done? Just two days ago, the pure laine Canadiens of the province of Québec turfed out the centre-left CAQ, which had held power for eight years, and elected what promises to be the most anti-woke government in Canada!

Parti Québécois leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, now the Premier designate, has denounced the open borders policies of the federal Liberals, declared multiculturalism a failure, denounced wokeism and promised Canada's strictest controls on immigration.

See? If enough people get over their fear of being vilified as "racist", "Nazi scum" etc to vote according to what they know in their hearts is right, we can win!

VIDEO: "Will mass migration be the death of the West?"

In this Heritage Foundation full-length documentary, Nick Freitas says it doesn't have to be, but we -- patriots who believe in preserving Western culture and upholding Western Christian values -- have to act now. He explains what is happening, who is behind it, and, most importantly, what can be done.

We cannot continue to sit still and let our political (and religious!) leaders lead us down the path to the extinction of our civilization! Do whatever you can to stop the surrender! Do it now!

To our Canadian readers and friends...

Walt, Poor Len [and Ed.! Ed.], who loved the Canada we knew before 20 April (aka 4-20) 1968*, extend our sympathies over the loss of your country.

Please try to have a happy Canada Day in spite of everything.

* For those who don't recognize the date, 20/4/68 is the date on which Pierre-Elliott Trudeau, leader of the Liberal Party (aka Natural Governing Party) of Canada was sworn in as Prime Minister. The sheeple of Canada apparently weren't listening when Emperor Trudeau I (as he was later known) said, "You won't recognize Canada when I'm done with it."

The folly of talking to liberals

Ed. here. We are experiencing technical difficulties. We hope to post something more substantial as soon as we can find a 16-year-old Chinese kid to fix our system.

Games that people play: "Liberal"

Thesis: This is a game played by men who desire to prove they are Tolerant and Good Persons. In it the Jerk takes over and gains great satisfaction.

Man goes up to the Pretty Coloured Girl in the office.
CHEESE: Hi there. How's the job going?
PCG: Umm.
C: I sure am glad they hired you here. I like to see you people get ahead. I'm a big supporter of the NAACP.
PCG: Wat dat?
C: How about having lunch with me?
PCG: I'm busy, man.
C (adapting): Well, listen, man. I mean like we'll splitsville and maybe swing a little, cool-wise. I'm a hipster. Man.
PCG: That's the strangest patois I ever heard. Have you a speech impediment?
C: Crazy!
PCG: Get your cotton-pickin' hand off my shoulder.

Aim: Cheese retires a Winner for the next two years he is able to tell the Other Fellows (Auditors) about the fantastic lunch-hour romances he has had with the PCG.

Social Advantages: The PCG, after a couple of experiences with various Cheeses, comes out against Integration. "Who needs those clowns, man!"
Psychological Advantages: None.

Adapted (very slightly) from People Games, by Dr Otto Kitzenger & Dr Albert Schwine, Pocket Books, 1966. How far we've come since the Civil Rights Act changed everything!

Book Review: "Listen. Liberal!" by Thomas Franks

"Modern liberalism in action: an unregulated virtue-exchange in which representative of one class of humanity [the elites] ritually forgive the sins of another class [the rest of us], all of it conened and facilitated by a vast army of well-graduated American professionals, their reassuring expertised propped up by bogus social science, while the unfortunately object of their high and noble compassion sink slowloy back into a preindustrial state."

Except for Walt's interpolations, that was written in "Listen, Liberal!" by Thomas Franks, a certified liberal who used to write for The Wall Street Journal and Harper's. After almost eight year's of the Obama presidensity, Mr Franks gave up on the Prez's "politics of hope".

He discovered that the US of A was being run, not by classical liberals fighting for the betterment of the common man, but by a class of progessional elites and technocratic experts, who have what Mr Franks calls "social authority".

"Although we [the 'common' people] are the subjects are the subjects of ptheir[ diagnoses and prescriptions," he writes, "the group to which professionals ultimately answer is not the public but their peers.... They listen mainly to one another. The professions are autonomous; they are not required to heed voices from below their circle of expertise."

Mr Franks points out that the Democrats have done little to advance traditional liberal goals. They occupied the White house for 16 of the 24 years (to 2015, the date of his writing), and yet the decline of the middle class has only accelerated. Corpoorate and cultural elitism eclipsed the Democrats' supposed middle-class commitment.

That's why, in "Listen, Liberal!", he calls the Democrats back to their historic goals, and predicts that unless they returned to the politics of the man in the street, they would lose the 2016 election. Which they did. And because they learned no lessons from their defeat, they would have lost the 2020 election had it not been rigged in the greatest political theft in American history.

But the Dimocrats didn't learn anything from their stolen victory. If anything, their policies got worse under the Prez's hand-picked and ill-fated successor. Elitism morphed into wokeism, leaving ordinary Americans in last place behind not just the elites but all the special interest groups the Dims pandered to in the name of diversity, equity and inclusion, hoping that the DEI types would keep them in power.

The party of Mr and Mrs Clintons, Mr and Mrs Obama, Mr and "Dr" Biden, and Ms Harris and some white man, is now agonizing over its dim (geddit?) prospects for the future. Those who take helm of the presently rudderless ship would do well to read "Listen, Liberal!"... twice! And repeat if necessary.

Note to Canadian Liberals: The same happened to the Liberal Party of Canada, in spades, under the leadership of Blackie McBlackface, the heroic advocate of wokeism who is due to resign this month to avoid having the imprint of a big real Canadian boot etched permanently on his derrière.

Only a fool... or a Trudeau Liberal... could fail to see the parallels with the fate of Obama, who, by the way, publicly endorsed Trudeau in the greatest liberal bromance of recent years.

Walt's one-and-only copy of this excellent book, gently used, autographed on request, is available on eBid.

Riddle of the month

Ed. here. I admit that we're just filling space, and give full credit to The Patriot Post for publishing this and other excellent work from the Memesters Union. There's been a lot going on the last couple of days and Walt is busy "processing it"... as they say...

VIDEO: "It's over!" - Dan McTeague (the gas guy) warns Liberals

The good and normal people -- Cipher and Fox -- at Northern Perspective sit down for a candid chat with former Liberal MP Dan McTeague. Mr McTeague has a strong message for his former colleagues who are still deluding themselves that the Liberals have a chance in the next election.

Thanks and a tip o' the toque to Agent 6 for sending us the link to this. Mr McTeague is only partially right. For the Canadian Gliberals, it's only over... for now. They'll be back! See "Walt's prophecy of Emperor Trudeau III", WWW 25/1/25.

VIDEO: Kevin O'Leary: To save Canada, Trudeau has to go!

Our post of December 18th may have been something of an oversimplification. Canada's problems are not unrelated to unfettered mass migration from Third World shitholes, but it is not that alone that has turned the country into Canuckistan.

"It's the economy, stupid!" Under the all-seeing but uncaring eyes of Prime Minister Justin "Junior" Trudeau and his fragrant former Finance Minister, whose name escapes us, the Canadian economy is spiralling down the pipe.

The beaverbuck (referred to in that post as the "snow peso") is today worth about 69 cents in real money. Inflation has only just been wrestled down to about 2%, after being as high as 10% earlier in the year. Unemployment hovers around 7%. And now Canada faces the threat of a 25% tariff on all its exports to the US of A, if it doesn't get its act together.

What is to be done? In this video, Kevin O'Leary, a Canadian politician and businessman, investor, journalist, author, and television personality known in the USA for his appearances on Shark Tank, reacts to the firing of Chrystia Freeland -- oh yeah, that's the one whose name we forgot -- and the Trudeau Liberals' disastrous Economic Statement of December 16th.

Don'tcha love the expression on the state-owned CBC's interviewer's face? It's hard to believe the Corpse would even air this scathing denunciation of their fearless leader.

We are pleased to do our part to get this message out to our Canadian readers and friends. If you're one of them, pass it on.

Another video worth watching: "Trudeau showed 'an unfathomable level of incompetence' this week": John Ivison, National Post, 19/12/24. Can things really be "the worst since 1929"? Errr, could be!

Judge Judy blames liberal prosecutors for skyrocketing crime rate

The following is an edited version of an article published by the (UK) Daily Mail.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Judge Judy (Sheindlin) blamed liberal district attorneys for leaving America's cities "ruined", and said they would be better employed "filling ice-cream cones."

The veteran reality TV star, known for making rough the path of the wicked, said the country is in worse shape than it was when her popular programme started 30 years ago because "a small group of people who have very loud voices created a scenario where bad people got rewarded."

And she lashed out at a culture that increasingly excuses people's behaviour on the basis of their background. "I know how we got here," she said. "When society started to make excuses for bad behaviour, and react to criminality based upon the excuses, it fell apart."

Judge Judy spoke out after Multnomah County (OR) DA Mike Schmidt became the latest liberal prosecutor elected in the wake of the Black Lives Matter scam to lose his bid for re-election. "When you have district attorneys who are charged, whose job it is to do justice, but to keep the community safe, when you have elected district attorneys who don't know what their job is, they should go find another job," said the judge. "'Fill ice cream cones someplace, but don't ruin cities."

She added, "And what's happened around New York City, Portland, San Francisco, you had district attorneys who didn't know what their job was. And the cities are ruined, people are leaving."

So far this year, robberies are up 5.2% in the Big Apple, while recorded hate crimes have jumped 11% per cent. In Portland, larceny offenses jumped to more than 26,000 in the year to April, while arrests for prostitution more than doubled amid an ongoing drugs and homelessness crisis.

Meanwhile, in the District of Columia, homicides jumped by 35% while robberies were up 67%. In San Francisco, DA Chesa Boudin lost his job in a 2022 recall election after securing just three -- count `em, 3 -- drug convictions the previous year.

Judge Sheindlin lashed out at the state of New York's 2019 decision to raise the minimum age at which a suspect can be tried as an adult to 18, branding it "ridiculous... If you have family, if you have a mother who's 65 years old who's walking to the grocery store and some crazy for no reason hits her over the head with a steel pipe and kills her, and they're 17, that person should never be allowed to walk the street again, because society can't take a chance.

"If I wouldn't take a chance on him living next to me why would I take a chance on him living next to you? You're just as dead as somebody 18 kills you, or 17. And if you're 17 years old and kill somebody, you don't belong with kids who are 12, in a juvenile facility. But a very small group of people pushed through in New York State, for instance, raising the level of criminal responsibility."

The explanations for why a person becomes a criminal should never be confused with excuses, she said. "You know there is always a reason for criminal behaviour.

"Didn't have a good upbringing, didn't have two parents in the house, didn't have one parent in the house, there's always a reason. You're mentally ill. That's a reason. You took drugs, that's a reason. You took alcohol, your brain is fried, whatever it is. There is never an excuse for bad behaviour."

Judge Judy also reflected on how the situation has deteriorated since she began her TV career. "Here we are, 30 years later, and are we in a worse shape as a country, as a world, than we were in 1993? You bet your bottom we are. I think we better get smarter before we get lost," she added. "Permanently lost."

"Who asked?!", asks Canuck blogger

Let's start with the first five paragraphs of an article which appeared today in the Wall Street Journal under the headline "Canada Tests the Limits of Its Liberal Immigration Strategy"

High levels of immigration made Canada the second-fastest growing developed-world economy in recent years, trailing only the U.S., as it competed to attract high-skilled workers from around the world.

Now, the newcomers are starting to strain the country’s ability to absorb them, putting at risk an important engine of the country’s growth. The country of 40 million people last year welcomed more than one million permanent and temporary immigrants, Statistics Canada said. That influx generated a population growth of 2.7%; the increase of 1.05 million people was nearly equivalent to last year’s increase in the U.S., a country with more than eight times Canada’s population.

In the next two years, Canadian officials say they will boost the number of permanent newcomers by almost a third, with most being skilled migrants such as carpenters, computer scientists and healthcare workers who qualify under a merit-based points system.

The system, touted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government but first developed in the 1960s, has helped drive economic growth, attract entrepreneurs and fill vacancies for skilled positions. It has been broadly supported across the Canadian political spectrum, with the goal of attracting the world’s best and brightest to Canada.

But the intake of newcomers is increasing so rapidly that analysts and newly arrived immigrants say it is adding fuel to an overheated housing market, straining a stressed healthcare system and clogging up roads in cities unaccustomed to traffic jams.

The problems listed in the fifth paragraph are there, to be sure, but the WSJ neglected to mention the greater problems of race, crime and the degradation of Canada's cities, with the Toronto and Vancouver areas now resembling Mumbai and Kingston, Jamaica in every respect but the climate.

The creator of Blazing Cat Fur (a daily read for Walt and Ed.) dipped his pen in vitriol and wrote this answer to the WSJ's blinkered analysis:

Canada is known for its embrace of immigrants? Submission to mass immigration is more like it. Romanticized views of immigration in Canada are the domain of politicians selling snake oil nowadays.

No one signed on for an inundation of incompatible cultures or to have their own government dismiss their heritage and nation as so much racist garbage. Multiculturalism was weaponized and the smear of racism was used as a bludgeon to smash dissent and ensure Canadians clapped like trained seals in approval whenever the topic of immigration was raised. Ethnic disaporas possessed of little in common with Canadian values are catered to by our political class who tolerate the intolerable for votes.

Who asked that hiring decisions be made on the basis of government ordained victim status?
Who asked that being white be considered a virtual hate crime and Canada be turned into a low trust society?
Who asked for “racialized sentencing guidelines” for criminals as if the average Joe who just wants to be left alone is somehow responsible for the alleged historic oppression of predators?

No one asked for a balkanized society where foreign ethnic conflicts spill out into our streets.
Who asked for an immigration policy that does not benefit citizens?
No one asked because it was imposed upon us and its true purpose is to benefit the corporate and political classes at our expense.

No one asked because divide and conquer works best when its victims are forbidden to talk about it until it’s too late. This so called “embrace of immigration” is better described as a choke hold.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Trudeau discovers another threat to national security

What follows is a true story, not something made up by the good folks at the Babylon Bee. Clever as they are, they couldn't make up something as ridiculous as this.

Assiduous readers will remember that the Liberal government headed by Emperor Trudeau II were quick to see a "threat to national security" in the peaceful protests of the Freedom Convoy last winter. The Emergencies Act, aka Son of War Measures Act, was invoked, and dissent was quelled.

Apparently, however, they had the blinders on when it came to the awarding of a contract worth C$549,637 (just over $400,000 in real money) for the building and maintenance of a radio frequency (RF) filtering system for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The contract went to the lowest bidder (surprised?), a company called Sinclair Technologies, based in Aurora ON, just north of Toronto.

Sinclair Technologies? Who they? Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), the sinecure for Liberal appointees in charge of awarding government contracts to firms with the left right connections should have asked that question, but apparently didn't. Radio-Canada, a state-owned broadcaster, found the answer on... wait for it... Wikipedia.

A Wiki that mysteriously disappeared overnight said that, while Sinclair is based in Ontario, its parent company Norsat International has been owned by Chinese telecommunications firm Hytera since 2017. The Communist Chinese government owns "about 10 per cent" of Hytera through an investment fund. Well, that's only a minority interest, so... no problem, eh!

Errr... well... hmm... maybe it could be a bit of a bother, if the Chicomms were dishonourable enough to install spyware on the Mounties' radio systems, and use the intelligence ["police intelligence"? Ed.] gained for nefarious purposes.

Although the Chinese are Canada's friends (unlike those Nazi racist truckers), that could indeed pose a threat to national security. Prime Minister Blackie McBlackface called the revelation of Sinclair's ties to the People's Republic "disconcerting" and promised a "review" of the contract and the process by which it was awarded.

In a scrum outside the House of Commons yesterday, Mr Socks told the meeja that while security agencies were "advising us as a government and as Canadians that we have to be very careful about foreign interference in our institutions ... other parts of the civil service were signing contracts that have questionable levels of security for our operations and our national security institutions like the RCMP."

Marco Mendocino, the Minister of Public Safety said the government is looking at the contract "very carefully." A bit late perhaps, since Sinclair is already installing its equipment at RCMP bases, but never mind. Said Mr Mendacious, "We're eyes wide open about the threats that are posed by hostile state and non-state actors, and that includes [China]."

Coming next... an investigation into the threat to national security posed by TikTok? Stay tuned.

Nat Hentoff: Why I'm mad at liberal hypocrites

Nat Hentoff? Isn't he dead? Well yes. Since 2017. Before that, Mr Hentoff was an American historian, novelist, jazz and country music critic, and syndicated columnist for United Media. He was a staff writer for the New Yorker, and columnist for The Village Voice from 1958 to 2009. He wrote some fine books, including The First Freedom: The Tumultuous History of Free Speech in America. This article -- even more relevant now than 36 years ago -- appeared in the November 1985 "Mad as Hell Issue" of National Lampoon, on sale here.

Nothing gets me madder than liberals who condemn those right-wingers who attempt to suppress contrary opinions, while those very same liberals do the same thing.

Item: The National Organization for Women (NOW) passed a resolution two years ago that prevents anyone from being invited to address the annual NOW convention if that person has any point of view that disagrees with any of NOW's policies. If Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum had passed such a resolution, every member of NOW would chortle at those right-wingers showing again how rigid and narrow they were.

Item: The Progressive, a monthly out of Madison, Wisconsin, is one of the most exuberantly independent of all American political journals. It never caves in to anyone, least of all the government.... Like most irreverent political journals, The Progressive is in chronic need of money. It's been helped, now and then, by the Funding Exchange, a consortium of foundations created by the "rich kids" -- the scions of families with huge, rapaciously acquired fortunes who want to do good in penance.

On the question of abortion, the editors of The Progressive, like the staff, are pro-choice. But the editor believes that anybody who wants to talk to the readers in the advertising columns is entitled to, providing that what he's advocating is legal.

A small radical pro-life group in Kansas City, Missouri, Feminists for Life of America, put a tiny ad in the magazine for three issues running. The ad showed an eight-week foetus and advised pregnant women to think twice or maybe three times before killing him or her. That's all she wrote. The president of Feminists for Life of America, by the way, has been busted both for protesting abortion and for protesting nuclear power plants. And she runs a magazine that is far more to the economic left than those rich kids with their foundations.

Well, the executive director of the Funding Exchange (the rich kids' consortium) cancelled their subscription to The Progressive and also said she and her staff would not help raise any more money for the magazine. To be "progressive" enough for the liberal rich kids, The Progressive would have to keep its pages utterly clean of anything deviating from the pro-abortion orthodoxy.

Liberals -- especially if they're rich -- want to stifle ideas they find offensive, yet go on pretending they're the ones who are truly open to dialogue.

Then there are those librarians who, while they defend the books in their libraries from outside censors, do a pretty mean-spirited censoring job of their own. Some will not order "controversial" books -- a foolproof way of ensuring they won't get into trouble with pressure groups in the community. Others create their own system of banning books that have somehow gotten into the library.

Consider a library center in upstate New York that provides books to school libraries in Albany, Schenectady, etc. This is the advice the hip, liberal librarians in upstate New York give to their colleagues in the schools. "Place a warning label on biased material: WARNING: IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THESE MATERIALS ARE SEX-STEREOTYPED AND MAY LIMIT YOUR SENSE OF FREEDOM AND CHOICE."

That's a hell of a turn for librarians to take -- labelling books as "bad" for readers. And who determined that those materials are "sex-stereotyped"? By what criteria?" Which novels by Faulkner, Dostoyevsky, and Mark Twain will have to be burned in the schoolyard? And what is this about limiting my sense of freedom and choice? Just who is doing that? Could it be these liberal librarians?

But let me show you what gets me maddest of all in this ceaseless abundance of liberal hypocrisy. A political science professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites to his class one of South Africa's representatives to the United Nations. The professor wants his students to hear and to test the real thing -- a true believer in apartheid. The professor figures they'd learn more from an exchange with someone in the racist South African government than from simply reading about that government.

The South African was never able to say a word to the class. An integrated mob of fifty students made it impossible for the rest of the 150 students in the auditorium to hear the visitor. They so yelled and screamed that the South African had no choice but to leave. The students who had been waiting to ask him some very sharp questions about his government had been silenced just as effectively as had the South African. As the South African left the campus, a student yelled, "Let the story go out that students would not allow a racist to speak on this campus!"

That's the only part of the story that got out. The rest of it was that some American students, like the government of South Africa, do not permit views to be heard that are contrary to their own. But I'm sure the students who prevented the South African from speaking consider themselves to be authentic liberals.

There's a term -- "liberal" -- that used to have some integrity to it. Increasingly, though, liberals lust to censor just as fervently as reactionaries. And just like reactionaries, liberals deny that's what they're doing.

Mr Hentoff was never anyone's idea of a conservative, let alone a right-winger. His rant shows that the hypocrisy of the liberal elites was known, even if not admitted, within their own ranks. Well said, sir! In my next post, I'll let you know what happened to NOW, the Eagle Forum, The Progressive, and Feminists for Life of America. Stay tuned.

"Mostly peaceful protests" OK for Antifa & loony left, not conservatives

The CBC (Canadian Broadcorping Castration - the propaganda arm of Canada's Liberal government) has got itself all worked up over Friday's confrontation between Liberal leader Blackie McBlackface and a group of Canadians angry about forced vaccination against the kung flu and its more virulent Delta (read: made-in-India) variant.

There were plenty of other things for them to be angry about, but "to be or not to be vaccinated" was the wedge issue Just In Trudeau was looking for, and he got it. In spades!

The protest was more "mostly peaceful" than similar demonstrations by Antifa, BLM and the loony left seen in the Excited States of America.  A common obscenity was displayed on a banner and shouted numerous times. The Salmon Arm Salute (having the same meaning as the printed obscenity) was seen. But no punches (or objects) were thrown. No-one was physically assaulted or interfered with. "No harm, no foul!"

The CBC and its masters would have Canadians believe that this sort of thing is simply unacceptable, just "not who we are", as Mr Socks put it. That's just bullshit. The behaviour exhibited yesterday is perfectly fine with the liberal politicians and lickspittle media, if the "mostly peaceful protesters" are on the side of progress and wokeness!

Case in point: Antifa and other comsymp "protesters" roughing up elderly women and men at the rally for Max Bernier held by the People's Party of Canada at Mohawk College in Hamilton ON on 30 September 2019.

The rally went ahead anyway -- "Mad Max" is no coward! -- but not one of the thugs clearly identifiable in the video was ever brought to trial, let alone convicted of anything. And now the CBC, which deplores the much milder behaviour of the protesters at Bolton, refuses to allow any mention of the "Hamilton incident" in the comments section of its hand-wringing, pearl-clutching story.

Canadian readers take note, and remember all this on September 20th!

Footnote: Hey, this story even made it onto Fox News., which normally doesn't pay much attention to events in the No-longer-great No-longer-white North. See "Furious crowd forces Justin Trudeau to cancel campaign event: 'Need freedom'".

Canadian federal election Sept 20th?

BREAKING NEWS: Reuters reports that the Rt. Hon. Blackie McBlackface, the first black Prime Minister of Canuckistan, plans a short walk from Rideau Cottage to Rideau Hall to ask the newly-minted BIPOC Governor-General (handpicked by himself) if he can have an election to consolidate his grip on power. The projected date is 20 September 2021.

C'mon Canucks! Wake from your summer slumber. This is your very last chance to save your country from terminal wokeness and the New World Order. Don't say you weren't warned!

Note from Ed.: At least in Canada the lefties call themselves "Liberals", not "Democrats". The farther-lefties, however, call themselves "New Democrats" (even though the party is 60 years old), not "Communists".

MUSIC VIDEO: Aaron Ward song draws ire of liberals

Left-wing music blogger (((Bob Lefsetz))) recently called "Am I the Only One", a No. 1 country music hit sung by Aaron Lewis, "heinous". Give a listen and see if you can figure out why.

What's wrong with that?! Could be the patriotism. Do ya think? Maybe the unflattering reference to Bruce Springsteen. Whatever it is, it's got the lefties all riled up. Mr Lefsets -- a Jew who lives in California -- has taken the publisher, Big Machine Label Group, to task for releasing the number. He and his kind seem to think that Mr Ward and his kind should be "cancelled".

Scott Borchetta, CEO of Big Machine, has responded to Mr Lefsetz in an open letter, which says: "Firstly, I believe in the First Amendment. My job has never been to tell my artists what to sing and write about.... Aaron Lewis and I have political disagreements. But there are also things we agree on. I think that's the foundation for the idea of our country. It doesn’t work if we're so divided that we can't reach across the aisle, have a conversation or an argument, and ultimately, shake hands. If we can't do that, and this moment is so divisive, we may never get our country back."

Walt agrees. And to Aaron Ward, Walt sez: You are not the only one! Keep singin'!
