Approved by Elon Musk, coming soon to WWW: "Citizen Vigilante"

Citizen Vigilante has gone viral following intense attempts by Forces for Good (read: bleeding heart liberals and pro-immigration one-worlders) to ban the film. Here's the trailer.

It's a Uwe Boll film, starring Armie Hammer, about very controversial current events. Need we say more? Ed. is working on the download now and hopes to have it ready for you to view later today.

VIDEO: Shiny Pony doesn't matter any more

If you pay attention to the entertainment news (as opposed to real news), you may have noticed that Blackie McBlackface, former Prime Minister of All Canuckistan, was invited to deliver a speech on "soft power" at last week's New World Order gabfest in Davos. He either was accompanied by or (more likely) accompanied Katy Perry, who apparently is a celebrity -- something that Shiny Pony is no longer.

Unlike the speeches given by President Trump and Canuck PM Marx Carnage, video and transcripts of Junior's speech are less than prominent in the meeja. The reason could be that he did nothing other than repeat the usual liberal platitudes. [At least he didn't lead a chorus of "Kumbaya"! Ed.] Or it could be that no-one bothered to record whatever he said. Here's why.

Be that as it may, Walt's Canadian readers have some questions.

Who invited Trudeau fils to Davos... and why? After all, he's no longer emperor, prime minister or even governor of the Great No-longer-white North. If he wasn't on the arm of Katy Perry, he'd be nobody!

Who paid for his trip? Did he get to fly in the Canadian Air Force Cessna with Mr Carnage? Did the WEF gang put him up in a VIP suite? And again... why?

And finally, how does Katy Perry feel about "soft power"? Most women prefer... errr... something a little bit harder... don't they?

Ed. just found this video clip of Rebel News' Ezra Levant daring to ask questions like that, right there in the streets of Davos. What kind of answer do you suppose he gets?

Not surprised, were you?

VIDEO: "Never Die" - AGENT 047 discovers who's behind SPECTRE

POTUS stars in this James Bond parody, a trailer featuring the song "Never Die", from an as yet unreleased movie called NEVER DIE (047). Agent 047, played by Donald Trump, goes around the world to find out who's at the centre of SPECTRE and the havoc being wreaked on the American people. Coming soon to a cinema near you... especially if you live in Greenland!

Biden's last executive orders - the truth revealed!

Scraped from The Patriot Post. I believe President Trump is signing his own EOs, "as seen on TV", but I wonder who's writing them. Nah. Must be him because who else would dare to do some of these things? Oh... Elon Musk? Hmm.

Is economic suicide President Trump's wish for the US of A?

Apparently Walt is not the only one who thinks that President Trump is sailing the USS America into waters which are not only uncharted but downright dangerous. As I wrote earlier today (scroll down to previous post), picking fights with your friends -- with whom you have a free trade agreement, remember -- is certainly not a proven way to make your country better, let alone great.

Recommended reading: "You Can’t Make America Great Again With Tariffs", by Ian Haworth, The Patriot Post, 5/3/25. Key excerpts:

"...for some unfathomable reason, Trump is risking his own legacy by pushing through an entirely unnecessary and counterproductive strategy that hinges on tariffs, sparking a tariff trade war with multiple countries — including our ally, Canada — and causing stock markets to plummet.

"...what we need is for Donald Trump to find a way to pull us back from the brink of yet another round of voluntary economic mutilation and focus on the principles that have dragged more people out of poverty than any other political ideology in human history: free trade capitalism."

Wise words. Will the Donald listen to anyone other than Elon Musk?

VIDEO: Senator John Kennedy tells why Americans support DOGE

"Common sense is illegal in Washington DC!" So says Senator John Kennedy (R-LA), in this speech, which every American taxpayer should listen to.

The solon  is talking about Elon Musk and the mandate of his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to audit the spending of US government departments and agencies to find out what they've been doing with the trillions of taxpayer dollars which seems to vanish down rabbit holes every year.

Senator Kennedy's particular target, in this speech, is USAid, which Mr Musk has discovered is sending to organizations promoting the LGBTQ agenda, gender ideology, Islamic terrorism, and other woke causes, not around the world. (USAid = foreign aid, remember.) His catalogue of how your money was spent is shocking, just shocking. Listen up.

As DOGE starts digging into education and other departments, there will be more... and worse... Stay tuned. As Senator Kennedy says, Mr Musk should get a medal!

Save your pennies!

President Donald Trump recently announced that he has instructed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to have the Treasury Department stop making new pennies, explaining that it costs more than two cents to make them!

"For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents," DJT wrote in a post on Truth Social. "This is so wasteful! I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let’s rip the waste out of our great nations budget, even if it’s a penny at a time."

Actually it costs more than three cents per cent. Last month, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) wrote in a post on X, "The penny costs over 3 cents to make and cost US taxpayers over $179 million in FY2023. The Mint produced over 4.5 billion pennies in FY2023, around 40% of the 11.4 billion coins for circulation produced."

It's worth noting too that the quality of the ersatz copper cents -- they're actually zinc with a thin veneer of copper -- ain't what it used to be, just like everything else in today's America. Check out the example at left.

So full of flaws and errors are America's coins that Lincoln Memorial pennies with errors or in high grades can be rare and valuable. The one pictured is offered on eBay for a mere $25,000.

A 1986 penny with the text "In Sod We Trust" instead of "In God We Trust" is rare and sought-after. A 1986 penny missing the layer of copper cladding is rarer still. Even a cut or nick or extra piece of metal (known as a "cud") on the rim of the coin, also known as a cud can be worth hundreds of times the coin's nominal value.

Although production of new pennies has been halted, the cent has not yet been officially demonetized as it was in Canada in 2012. See "Canada doesn't make cents any more", WWW 20/12/12.

In that piece, Walt had made a very sensible suggestion, which he now passes on to Elon Musk [who we assume reads WWW. Ed.] If the US government, ever decides to follow the lead of the frugal frostbacks, here's Walt's can't-miss cost recovery plan.

Sell the old pennies to Zimbabwe! They use US dollars there but they have no coins because they can't afford to import any. So ship them Amereican pennies at, say, half their face value, plus S+H, plus taxes and tariffs, and they should fetch pretty close to... well, millions and millions -- way more than the expected revenue from recycling.

You're welcome, Mr Musk! No need to write a letter of thanks. A check will do nicely.

4 dead, 1 injured - Yes, it was a Tesla

Four people are dead and another is in hospital after a car driving through downtown Toronto at a high rate of speed crashed into a guardrail and struck a concrete pillar on Lake Shore Boulevard, just after midnight today.

Of course any vehicle that hits a guardrail at 70 or 80 mph is likely to be written off, but it may not have been the impact alone that resulted in the casualties. A Toronto FD inspector said "the vehicle lost control, struck a guardrail and then struck a concrete pillar. Upon impact, the vehicle then caught fire." And yes, it was a Tesla.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they discover a "significant fire", said Deputy Fire Chief Jim Jessop. "Our crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire and then, once the fire was extinguished, our crews noted a number of persons inside the vehicle. Under the direction of the coroner's office and the Toronto Police Service, Toronto firefighters carefully extricated the bodies, and they are now in the care of the Office of the Chief Coroner."

Images like the one above showed the charred and crumpled vehicle being hauled away from the site of the crash. Chief Jessop went on to say that the intensity of the fire was "directly linked" to the battery cells in the Tesla, and noted that "thermal runaway" has been a growing concern with lithium-ion-powered devices.

He explained that lithium-ion battery packs have been known to reignite, even weeks after an initial fire, so "we had to take extra care this morning in reopening the Lakeshore...and removing and transporting one of the battery packs that was ejected during the collision. We worked with Transportation Services, Solid Waste and Parks and Recreation to arrange for a dumpster to arrive where the Toronto Fire Service placed the ejected cell into the dumpster, covered it with sand, and we have escorted that that dumpster up to a yard to make sure that it is safely disposed of."

Walt is happy to see Elon Musk working assiduously for the re-election of President Trump [Good on yer, sir! Ed.] but that doesn't mean you should go out and buy one of his (or anybody's) sparky cars.

VIDEO: Ad for a Bubba's birthright

Yesterday afternoon, as I was watching the Cowboys fall just short of a hyuge comeback, I got to thinking of what happens on TV when there's nothing happening on the gridiron. When there's no action on the field, viewers are treated to -- what else -- commercial after commercial after commercial.

So, since there's nothing going on in American politics at the moment [Well, is there? Ed.] we feel no shame in filling this space with an ad [a parody, OK? Ed.] for that great American institution, the tank-like American SUV.

This ad parody is mentioned in Rogue Nation: American Unilateralism and the Failure of Good Intentions, by Clyde Prestowitz (Basic Books, 2003). In the chapter entitled "Running on Empty", the author has this to say about

Bubba's birthright

The standard definition of a "Bubba" is a man who feels it's his God-given right to drive his pickup truck down the highway at 80 miles an hour with the windows open, the CD payer and air-conditioning both at full blast, and an open can of beer in his lap. While he's generally thought of as a white man from the South, the truth is that Bubbas can be found from Connecticut to California among all races and both genders....

Leave aside the stereotype's nonessentials for a moment -- the music, the beer can, the large dog in the passenger seat, the hunting rifle in a gun rack behind the rear window, the patriotic bumper stickers -- and pay attention to the overpowered and over-accessorized vehicle (mostly provided by American industry), the road (provided by American government), and the sense of entitlement (provided by American history). Where do these things come from, and where are they taking us?

Mr Prestowitz's answer is the waste of fuel required to power the cars which we think we deserve has led us to a serious dependence on oil imported from countries that hate us (like Iraq) and countries which merely dislike us (like Canada). He writes:

If U.S. vehicles got the same fuel economy as European and Japanese vehicles, the United States would need to import no Persian Gulf oil at all.

He isn't arguing for the replacement of internal combustion engins by sparky cars. The fad for EVs hadn't begun in 2003, and the idea of a Biden-Harris-style EV mandate would have been dismissesd out of hand as insane. Besides, the same criticism appliesa to the American waste of electric power.

The Japanese [Mr Prestowitz again] have put such emphasis on energy efficiency that they can produce a dollar of GDP with less than half the energy of the United States.... To create the equivalent of $1 of GDP, Europeans use only about two thirds as much energy as the Americans.

If America had the same energy efficience as the EU, it could not only do without oil imports from the Persian Gulf, it could do without oil imports period.

Let us hope (and vote!) that the new Trump administration will feature Elon Musk as Czar of Energy Efficiency, in charge of making America a powerhouse again... in every possible meaning of the word!

VIDEO: Elon Musk speaks his mind to Babylon Bee - FULL INTERVIEW

Yes, really! Not a joke. Elon Musk sat down with Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, Editor-in-Chief Kyle Mann, and Creative Director Ethan Nicolle for an in-depth interview on wokeness, Elizabeth Warren, taxing the rich, the Metaverse, which superhero Elon would be, and how the left is killing comedy.

This is the full interview with 45 additional minutes of content (total time 1:39:46). Turns out Elon Musk isn't one of the Wokesters. He can also be quite funny.

Don't chide me for giving you the YouTube link. The good people at Babylon Bee (you'll see some of them during the video) will get some money from YT when you watch.

Footnote from Poor Len Canayen: Bet you didn't know Elon Musk is a Canadian citizen, and went to college in Canada! And now he's a rich American. Dat's all ye know and all  ye need to know!

VIDEO: Michael Matt calls Biden the Democrats' kiss of political death

"This is fun!", Michael Matt, editor of The Remnant newspaper, returns to YouTube (!) just in time to celebrate "The Great Reject" -- the response of ordinary Americans, the real people, to President Brandon's left-liberal policies and politics. "The lunatics of Davos," he says, "have clearly become a political liability for a whole host of small-minded Democratic politicians...whose political future has now become understandly more important to them than the globalist ideology these whack-jobs -- Gates, Soros, Schwab and the rest of these nutters!"

In this latest episode of "The Underground" from Remnant TV,  Mr Matt analyses this week's big wins for pro-life, pro-God, and pro-American politicians. Will Tuesday's rejection of the Democrats and their extreme liberal ideologies carry over into the 2022 mid-term elections? Michael is cautiously optimistic.

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say), there's more! What (Mr Matt asks) do Elon Musk, Bill Maher, and Greta Thunberg have in common? They’re all fed-up Leftist influencers, who are obviously not going to go down with the USS Biden. Are the wheels coming off The Great Reset even before liftoff?

Meanwhile, inside the Vatican, the situation goes from Woke to Weird. On October 28th, the Cardinals responsible for promoting Christian unity called on bishops to "listen to non-Catholic Christians" during the latest synod, which some have already dubbed "Vatican III".

Some of Mr Matt's critics are asking why he doesn't just leave the Catholic Church and join the Orthodox or the Protestants (!). Mr Matt answers them in this video. Every minute is well worth watching!
