Yesterday, July 8th, Walt received a letter posted from Canada's biggest city on June 10th. Agent 3 says the delay was caused by Canada Post/Postes Canada being on strike "as far as we can tell".
Canada Post's American equivalent, the USPS, sells "forever" stamps. No matter what you pay -- the price will increase with inflation -- each "forever" stamp is good forever. It says so on the stamp.
Agent 3 reports that Canada Post has similar stamps which just bear the legend "P", presumably for "permanent". Perhaps they were afraid that customers would take "forever" to mean the amount of time it takes them to deliver a letter.
