Tories recruit new candidates for Greater Toronto Area

The Conservative Party of Canada has for the last couple of decades been pretty much shut out of the Toronto area. Now they are ramping up their pre-election preparations, recruiting new candidates who they hope will be more appealing to GTA voters, especially in Mississauga.

Pictured here is Tory leader Steve Harpoon with one of his new MP wannabes, identified only as "Mr. Singh". Note his Tory blue turban. He hopes to unseat Liberal MP Ruby "Princess" Dhalla in the riding of Brampton-Springdale. (Not "Sikhdale"? ed.)
