The post that got the most hits this week was "100s of Muslim invaders pour through swiss cheese-like Canuck border", WWW 6/3/17. But it's not like all the illegals and undesirables are trekking through the frozen fields and snowy woods south of Manitoba and Québec to avoid going through official border posts where they'd be turned away. Some are trying to smoke their way through Canadian and American border security at regular crossing points.
One of our agents has sent along two stories from the Niagara Falls Review, which I pass along to show you what the authorities are up against, on both sides of the world's longest semi-defended border.
In a Buffalo court last week, an Ontario resident was sentenced to time served and fined $2000 after being convicted of visa fraud. Assistant US attorney Stephanie Lamarque told the court that Liban Mumin Afrah, 42, entered the USA from Canada in 1996 and applied for asylum under the alias Ali Hussein. [What, not "Mohammed"? Ed.] Mr Afrah told border agents he feared he would be harmed if he returned to his native Somalia.
At the time of the fraudulent asylum application, the defendant had already been granted asylum by Canada under his real identity. Mr Afrah was granted an American green card under the false identity and regularly travelled between the US and Canada using both his Canadian passport and the fraudulently obtained green card. He got caught in the summer of 2015 when he attempted to renew his green card.
Also last week, a 25-year-old Jamaican pleaded guilty to re-entering the USA following a conviction for an aggravated felony. Attorney Lamarque said Horace Garfield Tajah attempted to cross the Peace Bridge (which connects Buffalo NY and Fort Dreary ON) on 23 January 2013. He had a valid US passport belonging to another individual and claimed to be an American citizen. Standard database checks revealed that Mr Tajah had been deported to Jamaica in 2012 and banned from the USA for life after he was convicted of multiple charges including conspiracy to commit murder in New York. He will be sentenced in June and faces a maximum penalty of 20 years behind bars and a fine of $250,000.
Dear reader, please note the length of time it took these cases to get to trial. Where do you think the defendants were, all these months? Who fed and housed them? Who paid for their lawyers? In the unlikely event they are deported after doing their time, who will pay for them to be sent back to the shitholes they came from? And how long do you think it will take before they're back in Canada and/or the USA?
If, after answering these questions, you can give me an argument as to why President Trump's orders to beef up border security and get rid of the millions of criminals and other undesirables still in the USA should not be followed, please do not write, but check yourself into the nearest mental institution. Why cops "pick on" young black men - a few choice quotes
Ed. here. Good journalists don't -- or shouldn't -- string together a bunch of quotes and call it a story. Walt does that, sometimes, but Walt is a mere blogger, not a journalist. Ronald Mascarenhas is not a journalist either. He's a Canadian management consultant. He's also something of a media favourite, writing and speaking about labour management and other timely topics. He has a piece in today's National Post entitled "In defence of carding*, and the police", from which we've lifted a few quotes from other professors and pundits.
"[Police] go where crime occurs. We go where the community calls us to go." (Toronto Deputy Chief Peter Sloly, quoted in the Toronto Star.

Canada -- the greatest hotel on earth!
Walt has just finished reading The Unfinished Canadian, by Andrew Cohen (McClelland & Stewart, 2007), and can't resist passing along -- without editorial comment [Who? Me? Ed.] -- this passage from the chapter entitled "The Casual Canadian".
Canada is becoming "a community of communities" -- the vision of Canada expressed by former prime minister Joe Clark -- though surely not as he imagined it....
Yann Martel, the award-winning novelist, calls Canada "the greatest hotel on earth. It welcomes people from everywhere." A perceptive and apt description, it imagines a Canada in which everyone is a visitor, occupying a room, a floor, or even a wing, depending on the means. No one stays for very long because no one wants to make an extended commitment.
A hotel is impermanence, by its very nature the most tenuous of loyalties. People come and go. In point of fact, this is actually true of Canada; some 30 per cent of immigrants are thought to return home after getting citizenship....
This compartmentalization of Canada emerges in unsavoury ways: in the grim, urban corridors where Jamaican, Haitian and other street gangs fight each other; in the high-rise housing projects filled with Somalis and other struggling minorities; in the epidemic of violence against women in the Indo-Canadian community; in the desire of some Muslims in Ontario to use Sharia law; in the arrests of eighteen suspected terrorists, all of them Muslim, whom no authority would identify as such....
There are reasons for worry. Michael Valpy, the journalist and author, sees trouble among second-generation minorities who are not entering mainstream society and risk becoming part of the underclass.
Tarek Fatah, a broadcaster, warns of fundamentalist Islamists who use multiculturalism to present themselves as moderates to "hide their misogynist, homophobic and segregationist agenda." He warns that if Canadians don't redouble their efforts to integrate and promote a secular society, "we risk creating a fragmented nation, divided into twenty-first-century religious and racial tribes, suspicious of each other and longing for the home we left behind."
Walt agrees with and endorses every word, except for the second part of the quote from Tarek Fatah (last sentence in the preceding paragraph) which is hopelessly idealistic and downright naive. The damage has been done, and I can't think of any politically acceptable way to undo it. Can you?
Footnote: Americans and Britons needn't feel smug or safe. Citizenship of the UK and/or USA is harder to get than Canadian -- Canucks are just stupid about this -- but the description of the minority ghettos of Toronto could just as easily apply to New York, or London, or just about any "Western" city.

Fake "obeah man" cons Jamaican murderers into confessing
Walt's favourite court-watcher, Agent 3, has been following a murder case wending its way through the courts of Ontario, Canada's most populous province. As those who know the Greater [sic] Toronto Area would expect, race and religion are involved.
The victim of a 2004 shooting in Brampton, Ontario -- an increasingly dark bedroom community northwest of Toronto -- was Youhan Oraha, a drug dealer. The three accused were Evol Robinson, his differently-surnamed brother Jahmar Welsh, and their friend Ruben Pinnock. All of the accused are, errr, Jamaican-Canadians.
In their trial before Mr. Justice Terrance O'Connor of the Ontario Superior Court, the evidence which did them in was that of an undercover cop who posed as an "obeah spiritual advisor", to whom the accused gave what amounted to a confession.
A confession given to a Catholic priest would have been inadmissible under Canadian law. Sadly for the accused, obeah has nothing to do with Christianity. It centres on mysticism and spiritualism and is commonly practised by people of Caribbean descent. The word "voodoo" comes to mind, but at the trial four defence experts at trial called obeah "a form of religious practice".
Judge O'Connor questioned the sincerity of the accused's religious beliefs, and allowed the fake testimony of "Leon de Obeah Man". The bogus spiritualist had told the boys that the Robinson family was cursed by an evil spirit, a "white boy" who had drawn police and the judiciary to them. He offered to protect them, so they spilled their guts to him. "Guilty, guilty, guilty!" Said the judge.
Was that the end of it? Is the Pope Catholic? [Apparently not. Ed.] Enter the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the African-Canadian Legal Clinic, organizations funded by charitable donations and tax dollars willingly and unwillingly provided by whities. These assiduous opponents of racism and champions of religious freedom put to the Ontario Court of Appeal the argument that the religious rights of the accused were breached by the racist police, in sending "Leon" to extract incriminating information that the accused otherwise wouldn't have given.
The CCLA intervention argued that allowing police to impersonate religious advisers "shocks the conscience of Canadians." The African Canadian Legal Clinic said the police trickery "preyed on the Robinson family's deep-seated mistrust of the criminal justice system". Well, duh!
The appeal court disagreed with the appeal to political correctness. In a judgement released yesterday, three white judges wrote: "We conclude that any religious element in the Obeah sessions with Leon is properly characterized as trivial, insubstantial and dwarfed by the corrupt motives that induced the appellants to participate in and fall for the elaborate scheme of deception practised upon them."
Furthermore, the court found police did not compel any action for a religious purpose. "Leon encouraged the appellants to adopt Obeah practices, but encouragement short of compulsion does not infringe" religious rights, said the judges.
Nor did the judges accept that the applicants were "unfairly targeted because of they are black and of Jamaican heritage". Rather, they were singled out because they were suspected of murder. Well said. Let's see the liberal activist lawyers get the Supreme Court of Canada to reverse that one!

Murderer pleads "Don't send me back to Jamaica!"
In 2001 McLeod was convicted of second-degree murder, and sentenced to life, with no possibility of parole for 12 years. He became eligible for day parole and is now eligible for full parole.
But does he want it? No! Mr. McLeod wants to stay in jail -- a nice Canadian jail if you please. Why? Because, not being a Canadian citizen but a Jamaican, at the time of his sentencing he was ordered to be deported from Canada immidately on being released from prison.
Now the convicted murderer has filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court of Canada, another of those "Charter rights" cases so beloved of victims of every imaginable form of discrimination. And their taxpayer-remunerated lawyers, of course.
Mr. McLeod's claim is that Canada's laws discriminate against foreign nationals by robbing them of a chance for conditional release after they've paid their debt to society. It all depends, he says, on what it means to "complete" a prison sentence.
Under the Immigration and Refugee Act, a foreign national who engages in serious criminality is subject to removal once a prison sentence "is completed", which means "as soon as any form of conditional release is granted."
However, under the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, a sentence for a non-citizen is not considered complete until the expiration of every day of the sentence, even if they're on parole before that very last day.
In dismissing McLeod's action, Mr. Justice Donald Rennie of the Federal Court said, "Parliament has the right to prescribe the conditions under which foreign nationals who are convicted in Canada will be removed from Canada.... As the applicant has no right to remain in Canada, he has no right to access Canadian society under terms and conditions that are available to Canadian citizens; hence no Charter issue arises.
"[Deportation] does not deprive him of anything he has not, by his own conduct, already lost," the judge added. While citizens and non-citizens may be treated differently, he opined, it does not equate to discrimination. "Since the applicant has no right to remain in Canada there can be no differential treatment. A Canadian citizen has a right to remain in Canada. Therefore, a foreign national and a [Canadian] national are not [the same.]"
All that may come as a shock to the lawyers, counsellors and other do-gooders who do well out of helping to bogus refugees, asylum-seekers and criminals remain in Canada. They may take some comfort, though, in learning that Mr. McLeod plans to appeal.

Mugabe calls Jamaica a nation of pot-smokers
Comrade Bob Mugabe, the head nagger of Zimbabwe, owes his too-long life to lean living. He neither drinks alcohol nor smokes anything. Certainly not "mbanje" which is the chiShona word for marijuana, the sacramental herb so beloved of Jamaicans like Saint Bob Marley, after whom Mugabe was named.
Speaking last week at the "Research and Intellectual Expo" in his country's capital, Uncle Bob made some rather strong statements about Jamaica, which he described as a nation of marijuana smokers, where women were now taking charge since men were always sloshed.
Mugabe said he wished Zimbabwe had never followed the footsteps of Jamaicans whose influence on the impoverished African country is pervasive.
"In Jamaica they have freedom to smoke mbanje, men are always high, and universities are full of women. The men want to sing and do not go to colleges. Some are dreadlocked. Let us not go there," was how Mugabe put it.
Toronto (Canada) mayor Big Bob Ford is studying Mugabe's remarks from behind the wheel of his Escalade while stuck in traffic. And Jamaican Foreign Affairs minister A.J. Nicholson said on Sunday that his government was aware of the report but is not yet in a position to comment, as everyone is recovering from the weekend jump-up.

White scamming and black shooting in Ontariariario
In spite of Walt's warnings, people are still buying chocolate bars from kids claiming the money goes to Help Kids Canada. We have a new comment today from someone in Kitchener who got conned, and Agent 3 reports being solicited in front of his bank by a girl of about 12 with braces on her teeth. She was lucky Agent 3 is not a dirty old man! [He's a dirty young man! Ed.]
Folks... the people who implore you to buy their chocolate bars do not work for Help Kids Canada. They are being "run" by managers or supervisors who are independent contractors, not employed by Help Kids Canada. Their business is selling chocolate bars. Period. This information comes from the Help Kids Canada website. As today's anonymous commenter said, it's hard to believe that the little waifs pushing the bars don't know what they're doing.
Elsewhere, what passes in Canada for a "big apple" -- talkin' `bout Toronto, folks -- had its fourth gunshot fatality in as many nights, in Lawrence Heights, a neighbourhood filled with "community housing". All four shootees were Jamaican, or should we say "Jamaican-Canadians". The shooters remain at large.
Also yesterday, in Pickering (also a part of the so-called Greater Toronto Area), a 17-year-old yoof was shot by the Old Bill (= police, for those who don't speak British English) while using a replica gun in an attempt to stick up a veterinary clinic. The poor at-risk yoof is black, but which island he came from is not known as of this writing.
What makes Walt laugh is that Toronto's mayor, Buffalo Bob Ford, and police chief, Old Bill Bliar, keep saying these are "isolated incidents", and that Toronto is a really really safe city, not at all like, say, Detroit. Four dead in four days -- not to mention over 20 injured in the crossfire -- doesn't sound "isolated" to Walt.
The lamestream media are howling for a solution to the Problem That Cannot Be Named. If you have a suggestion, kindly send it to the Canadian Minister of Immigration, Hon. Jason Kenney. If you're interested, Mr. Kenney has his own website on which he is soliciting your support for his great work in trying to deport criminals from Jamaica and, errr, other places.

Shocking news! Toronto shooter not Jamaican!
Further to yesterday's story about the gunplay at Toronto's Eaton Centre, Walt can report that the Toronto constabulary, not known for their ability to find a blackberry in a saucer of milk [Block that metaphor! Ed.] were handed a bit of a gift when a gentleman of the coloured persuasion walked into 52 Division HQ early this morning and admitted to pulling the trigger at least seven times. With one victim dead and six others injured it had to be at least seven.
The perp was identified in court this afternoon as Christopher Husbands, a Toronto resident. "Was Mr. Husbands born in Canada?", I hear you ask. Errr, no. He immigrated in 2000. Lifetime pct .990.
"From where did he immigrate?", I still hear you asking. Errr, not Jamaica. Lifetime pct .989. Turns out Mr. Husbands came from Guyana...not 1000 miles from Jamaica, as the crow flies. [Do it again and you're fired! Ed.]
"What was Mr. Husbands doing in Canada?" Errr... he was doing time. For a drug conviction in 2008.
"So what was he doing in the Eaton Centre?" According to the police, he should have been at home because he was, errr, under house arrest, awaiting trial on a charge of sexual assault dating from 2010.
Isn't the Canadian justice system great? And the Canadian immigration "system" too.
It is not known when Mr. Husbands will be tried on charges of murder and a bunch of other things for which he could be slapped on the wrist several more times. The police are still working on their case. They are having trouble getting lineup identification of Husbands as the perp. Eyewitnesses keep saying, "I dunno. They all look the same to me..."

Another coloured yoof murdered in Toronto; Kemi still at large
Another young man has been murdered in the vicinity of Toronto's notorious Cooper Mills housing project. The area is occupied mainly by folks of the coloured persuasion, immigrants and refugees from Jamaica, Somalia and other third world hellholes, where settling scores with guns is the way of life.
The yoof will doubtless turn out to be "a good boy who was turning his life around and aspired to be a rap artiste". That will be the way his mother or auntie tells it. No father will be interviewed because he will be unknown or AWOL.
But never fear! According to the Toronto Sun's Chris Doucette (who seems to have some connection with her) Kemi Olukemi-Olunloyo, black media whore par excellence, is on hand to speak up for the victims and their families. The "outspoken crime victim advocate" said "I believe these killings are all connected in some way." Well, duhhhh!
Mr. Doucette's reference to the lovely Kemi modestly omitted her own travails with John Law, as mentioned by Walt in "The skinny on Kemi", about 18 months ago.
Kemi keeps popping up in the media -- well, in Chris Doucette's stories -- every couple of months, but still hasn't had the cuffs slapped on her. Walt wonders what's keeping the Canadian immigration authorities from sending Kemi back to George (the state) where outstanding warrants await her, or Nigeria, where there is considerably more black crime for her to moan about.

Kemi still on the lam in Canada
Walt knows some Toronto-area readers are huge fans of Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo. Don't even try to say it; let's just call her "Kemi O". Ms O is a Nigerian [I'd never have guessed that. Ed.] who migrated to the USA, and then, having worn out her welcome there, came to Canada as a fugitive from the US justice systems. She has been in Toronto for a number of years, and makes her living by selling drugs. Check out "The skinny on Kemi" for details.
In her spare time, the lovely Kemi is a self-appointed consultant to and spokesthingy for Toronto's sizeable "black community". Her brief is to make the racist Canadians understand that black-on-black crime -- running at an average of one shooting per weekend -- has nothing to do with the face that the victims and the perps are, errr, black. And, errr, mostly Jamaican too. Just a coincidence, because the Somalis shoot each other too, dontcha know. Oh, that's in Edmonton. Well, anyway...it's definitely not just a "Jamaican thing".
And even if it is, Kemi tells us today, it's not the fault of the young Jamaicans involved because, you see, they aren't really Jamaicans. A lot of them were born in Canada -- to baby mommas and Jamaican daddies who seem to have vanished -- so that makes them Canadians! Just plain, unhyphenated Canadians, unlike the Italians and Ukrainians and Dutch, who still think of themselves as Italian-Canadian or whatever.
Walt is not making this up. I'm referring to an article which appeared (briefly) in the online edition of today's Toronto Sun. Ed. was on his coffee break and forgot to bookmark it, so I can't give you a link, but trust me, it was there!
Ms O was commenting on the traditional Thanksgiving Day murder, which occurred on Monday (Canadian Thanksgiving) right on schedule, just as it has for the last seven years. All the victims were Jamaicans or Jamaican-Canadians or black Canadians -- whatever -- and if any of the murderers are ever apprehended they will almost certainly be from the same "community".
Kemi told the Sun's Chris Doucette that the young men's delinquency is the fault of Canadian society, for failing to give them the education, social services etc etc to which their Canadian birth entitles them. Obviously. If only, instead of building more jails, the Canadian government had provided more basketball courts, more legal shooting galleries and more recording studios for aspiring rap artists. Without these things, is it any wonder they turn to a life of crime!
Investigations of the murders have been largely fruitless, owing to the racism of the Toronto police and, errr, the reluctance of the "community" to rat out the local Cripps and Bloods and other gangstas. It seems, too, that the Toronto cops haven't been in any hurry to check on Kemi's immigration status -- or lack thereof -- or extradite her to Georgia, where a warrant for her arrest is still outstanding.
PS - What's up with the love affair between Chris Doucette and Ms O? With the possible exception of CBC's Radio One ("We sound the way Toronto looks!") nobody but nobody, other than Chris, pays the slightest attention to Kemi's rants. Why would he do that? Surely it can't be that he's physically attracted to her!

Jamaican Olympic team starts training
Much interest in Montréal as a group of young people with black faces and Jamaican accents assembled at the Université de Montréal stadium for a light workout in track and field sports.Much consternation when it turned out the athletes were students at the Hautes Études Commerciales, the Université de Montréal’s business school. Evidently inspired by the almost-forgotten black-and-white minstrel shows -- popular in Canada and Britain as well as the USA well into the 1950s -- the kids painted themselves in blackface and chanted "Ya man!" for a frosh-week stunt.
Participants were encouraged to dress in Olympic-themed costumes, with one group choosing to portray Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. Along with donning the colours of the Jamaican flag, several students also covered their face, arms and legs in black paint.
The colourful attire included at least one Rastafarian hat and a pair of green shorts patterned with monkey faces. A large stuffed animal resembling a green monkey -- "un vrai Jamaican eh" -- was paraded around as a mascot.
Much soiling of silks by the school's administration and university officials, who were predictably accused of racism the moment vids appeared on YouTube and the lamestream media. One witness, who is of Jamaican descent, said he was shocked to hear some students chanting, “Smoke more weed.” More shocking still was the fact that they were chanting in English, contrary to Québec's language laws!
Law student Anthony Morgan said he found the display deeply offensive because of "the troubling historical connotations of blackface.... It is connected to a longer tradition of minstrel shows, reducing black people to pretty much jokes. They're put on as a spectacle, to almost look grotesque."
A spokesman for the business school said Morgan must have misunderstood the point of rap and hip-hop concerts, not to mention such events as the Caribana weekend. There were no ill intentions, said Michael Lartigau, but "the students interpreted the theme poorly."

Dispelling the PC bullshit about Britain's rioting underclass
We are now being inundated by wave after wave of gliberal analysis of the causes of the riots that swept the UK last week. The problem is that British society is "broken". The "social contract" has been breached. And guess who's responsible? Certainly not those rampaging through the streets! Heavens no! They're victims, dontcha know...
That's bullshit, as most of us know but few of us have the courage to say. As I wrote earlier this morning, the truth is that the rioters are underclass scum -- black gangstas and chavs behaving like black gangstas because it's "cool". In an earlier post I called them hoodlums and hooligans, for that's what they are.
I'm pleasantly surprised to find the lamestream and resolutely politically correct Globe and Mail agreeing with me. [Or you could say you find yourself in agreement with the Glob! Ed.] Here's the lead paragraph from their editorial, "No excuses for British hooligans":
There is an emerging analysis that while on the one hand there is “no excuse” for the wave of rioting, looting and wanton violence that swept London and other British cities last week, on the other hand there really is an excuse: social exclusion and systemic discrimination. Accordingly, the hoodlums are really victims, their violence and mayhem only a plaintive cry for help. They are not depraved but deprived. It is a ludicrous suggestion, one that flies in the face of two decades worth of massive expenditures in poverty-stricken areas designed to improve the opportunities, particularly, of inner city youth.
Putting it another way, British taxpayers have spent billions of pounds doing what the liberals tell us is "the progressive thing", "the right thing", namely doling out money to the "disadvantaged" and hoping they'll stay in their place, not cause any more trouble...and vote for the government of the day. So how's that working out? Film at seven!
There is a lesson in that for governments on the western side of the Atlantic. Even now, we keep hearing cries from the guilt-ridden (because they're white) dogooders that we should spend even more money "helping the disadvantaged". Build them special schools, we're told. Bring your peanut butter and mac & cheese to the food bank. Give them better housing and don't worry about collecting the rent.
I'm reminded of the song "Gee, Officer Krupke", from West Side Story....

They say go earn some dough
Like be a soda jerker
Which means like be a schmo
It's not I'm anti-social
I'm only anti-work!

Quick, what's the most politically incorrect thing you could say about last week's riots in the UK? Looking at the video clips, you could say that you saw blacks behaving like blacks -- burning, looting, trashing everything in sight. And you could say that you also saw whites behaving like blacks.
So said London historian David Starkey, during a debate on the origins and causes of the riots which rocked London and other English -- not Scottish or Welsh, just English -- cities. Predictably, Mr. Starkey's extremely politically incorrect remarks have caused cries of outrage from the usual progressive right-thinking liberals throughout Britain and around the world.
The row erupted after Dr. Starkey spoke on BBC's Newsnight on Friday, opposite leftie author Owen Jones, who wrote Chavs: The Demonisation of the Working Class. You may remember seeing Walt's note on chavs, referencing this book, on July 18th.
Here's what Dr. Starkey had the courage to say: "I think what this week has shown is that profound changes have happened. There has been a profound cultural change. I have just been re-reading Enoch Powell. [The reference is to Mr. Powell's 1968 "Rivers of Blood Speech", quotes by Walt on August 10th.]
"[Powell's] prophecy was absolutely right in one sense: the Tiber didn’t foam with blood, but flames lambent wrapped around Tottenham, wrapped around Clapham. But it wasn’t intercommunal violence; this was where he was completely wrong.
"What has happened is that the substantial section of the chavs that you wrote about have become black. The whites have become black. A particular sort of violent, destructive, nihilistic gangster culture has become the fashion.
"Black and white, boy and girl operate in this language together. This language, which is wholly false, which is this Jamaican patois that has intruded in England. This is why so many of us have this sense of [living in] a foreign country."
Dr. Starkey said there had been "a profound cultural change" and added that the disturbances and accompanying looting were not riots in the traditional sense, but simply "shopping with violence".
Strong stuff, and of course reaction from the usual suspects has been equally strong. Dr. Starkey has been called a "classist" (by Mr. Jones, of course) for looking down his educated patrician nose at the scum ["chavs", surely! Ed.] doing the rioting.
Others, such as David Lammy, Labour MP for Tottenham (where the rioting began) and, errr, a gentleman of the coloured persuasion, had to admit that, yes, the rioters and looters were chavs, but "those who engaged in criminal behaviour came from all races".
Mr. Lammy, called Dr. Starkey's comments were "misleading" as well as "dangerous and divisive". Ah yes..."divisive". That and "unhelpful" are this year's code words for "You may be right but you're not allowed to say these things because our disadvantaged minorities might be offended."
However, Dr. Starkey has his defenders. Author and commentator Toby Young told the Daily Mail that Dr Starkey was not criticising black culture in general but a "particular form of black culture, the violent, destructive, nihilistic, gangster culture associated with Jamaican gangs and American rap music". [My emphasis. Walt.]
Young added: "Had he been talking about these qualities as if they were synonymous with African-Caribbean culture per se, or condemning that culture in its totality, then he would have been guilty of racism. But he wasn’t. He was quite specifically condemning a sub-culture associated with a small minority of people of African-Caribbean heritage.
"Rather than being racist, he was merely trotting out the conventional wisdom of the hour, namely, that gang culture is to blame for the riots. In addition, Starkey wasn’t linking this sub-culture to people of just one skin colour, but condemning working-class white people – chavs, as he put it – who embraced it as well."
In his blog "If David Starkey is racist then so is everybody", the Telegraph's James Delingpole said: "The cultural point he is making is indisputable. Listen to how many white kids (and Asian kids) choose to speak in black street patois; note the extent to which hip-hop and grime garage and their offshoots have penetrated the white mainstream; check out how many white kids like to roll like pimps or perps with their Calvins pulled up to their midriffs and their jean waistbands sagging below their buttocks. Is anyone seriously going to try to make the case that this isn’t black culture in excelsis?"
Walt's answer to Mr. Delingpole is no. Of course no observant person will try to shift the blame from where it obviously belongs. We have eyes and ears. We can see and hear. We know who the perps are and what they represent. The only reason we can't say so plainly -- and take the appropriate corrective action -- is that people like Mr. Jones and Mr. Lammy find telling the truth "divisive" and "unhelpful".

Father of 10 gunned down, 6 mothers grieve
In Toronto, over the weekend, a man was shot, execution-style, in a sports bar. One well-placed gunshot did for him. Why he was targetted is not clear, but there's probably some drug or gang connection since a relative of one of his "wives" was shot in the same area some months ago.

Ayisha Spence, his current girlfriend and mother of two of the kids, told the Toronto Sun, “He was a great father.” Says Walt, certainly prolific, if nothing else.
Ms Cuff averred that the fact the six mothers of the ten children all get along is a testament to the wonderful man he was. The women notified each other of the horrific news and then all but one of them raced to the scene. The missing one is believed to have been detained at the welfare office while collecting cheques.
“We’re all baby mamas, but we all communicate with each other,” said "Jennifer", who has a daughter with the victim. “It don’t make no sense,” she said. “Everyone that knew him, loved him." So it would seem, says Walt. Except for this one last guy.
The victim's name is Clifenton Ford. Not known yet is the name of the major corporation of which Ford was CEO, nor how much support he was paying for his ten little bastards. What IS known is which "community" Mr Ford was part of. No prizes for guessing.

Round up the usual suspects
It has for some time been politically incorrect in Toronto to describe suspects in a violent crime as "speaking with Jamaican accents". In fact, some of the lamestream media try to avoid even mentioning that the perps are black, as is almost always the case.
It doesn't do much good, though, to appeal to the public to call if they have any information about "men", with no other descriptors. Besides, people jump to their own conclusions, awaiting only the confirmation when an arrest is made and the accused is seen being shoved into the back of a cruiser.
Perhaps the Toronto Star has realized that political correctness doesn't change the facts or help the authorities bring criminals to book. Today the oh-so-liberal Star reported on the murder of a 16-year-old in a broad-daylight home invasion as follows.
"Police describe the suspects as 5-foot-9 to 6-feet black men with Jamaican accents."
The description fits 1000s of Torontonians, hundreds of whom are already languishing in Toronto area jails, but one hopes it's the beginning of the end of denying the truth.
Footnote: Agent 3 reports that CBC's ultra-PC Toronto radio station broadcast the police press conference as it happened, omitting only the first ten seconds in which the words "black men with Jamaican accents" were used.

Kemi recruits gangstas to her cause
Scene 1: one of Toronto's black ghettos; July 2007; a street party; scores of bros en sisses a-rappin' en a-ravin'. Suddenly there's a Jamaican salute! When the gunfire ends, an 11-year-old boy lies dead.
Scene 2: a Toronto courtroom, yesterday; two gentlemen with Caribbean accents, members of two rival gangs, are acquitted of murder charges; white defence lawyers (paid for by Canadian taxpayers) proclaim the justice system works. Cop spokesthingy disagrees, says "We’ve worked extremely hard at improving relationships in the community and we’ve had tremendous success." Uh-huh.
Down at the Toronto Sun editors need a concerned member of the "black community" -- someone who's not afraid of getting shot -- to say something. Thus a phone call to top black female media ho Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo. See "The skinny on Kemi" for details of her checkered past.
Ms O-O, as self-appointed champion of the families of black murder victims, says the verdict sends "a horrible message" to gangs that they are "free to shoot up our streets and kill our children." With over four dozen gang- and drug-related black-on-black killings on the books already this year, seems to Walt the gangstas already knew that.
But, the Sun says, once Kemi calmed down, she invited the lads who got away with murder, Gregory Sappleton and Akiel Eubanks, to join her war on gun violence.
“If they really care at all about this boy, I want them to work with me, to talk to young people about what they’ve been through and how they feel about gangs,” she said. No word yet on when Messrs Sappleton and Eubanks will start appearing with Ms O-O at community self-criticism rallies.
Footnote: Agent 3 asks whatever happened to Jamaican-born Dudley Laws, civil rights activist and executive director of the Black Action Defence Committee. As far as we know, Mr. Laws has not been seen in public since Ms O-O arrived on the Toronto scene about 3 years ago. Is it possible that Kemi is Dudley in drag?

"The suspect spoke with a Caribbean accent"
I didn't post anything yesterday because I was in shock. I read a newspaper account of a "home invasion" in a Toronto suburb, in which an Oriental lady was killed and her husband injured. There, at the end of the story, was a description of the three suspects. The colour of the perps wasn't mentioned but the report did say that one of them "spoke with a Caribbean [sic] accent".
"A Caribbean accent!" Cazart! That phrase -- actually "a Jamaican accent" -- used to be set in cold type in the Toronto papers, and routinely appended to stories about convenience store robberies and the like.
Then it became politically incorrect to suggest that crimes were being committed by people of colour...especially the Jamaicans who have been welcomed into Canada since former PM Trudeau opened the floodgates.
At the Globe and Mail, at least, it is still taboo to refer to someone's race in a crime report. Or at least it was, until last night. Following comments by dozens of readers of the online edition, the Glob finally inserted the word "black" into the descriptions.
However, a commentator named "Meatball" had the finally word: "Gee, they were black? What a surprise! I'm shocked, SHOCKED!"
