America to promote "the English vice" overseas

Used to be homosexuality was known as "le vice anglais" -- "the English vice".
But now, under Al O'Bama and his sidekick Hellery Clinton, America is striving for world dominance in promoting the LGBTQ agenda all over the world. Let deviant behaviour be unconfined!

Yesterday Hellery told a Geneva assemblage of diplomats, "Gay rights are human rights." Her pronouncement was followed by the sound of the scraping of chairs on the floor, as dozens of ambassadors from countries like Nigeria and Saudi Arabia rushed out of the room. Homosexuality is illegal in those and many other countries where "western values" have not yet taken hold.

But the Obama-Clinton administration is going to fix that. The US has publicly declared it will fight discrimination against gays and lesbians abroad by using foreign aid and diplomacy to encourage libertine licence ["reform", surely. Ed.]

A memo from the Obama administration directs US government agencies to consider gay rights when making aid and asylum decisions. The official memorandum does not outline consequences for countries with poor records on gay rights, but it allows US agencies working abroad to consult with international organisations on discrimination.

In the US, Republican presidential candidates criticised the administration's decision, with Rick Perry saying in a statement that "promoting special rights for gays in foreign countries is not in America's interests and not worth a dime of taxpayers' money".

Is that going to stop the Democrats from pushing their gay agenda? Not likely! The announcement, described by the White House as the "first US government strategy to combat human rights abuses against gays and lesbians abroad", is a big part of the Obama administration's outreach to the politically powerful LGBTQ crowd ahead of the 2012 election.
