Time for one more award as we close out the year. The coveted Wally for Funniest Headline of the Year goes to the wretches at Yahoo! News who came up with this one.  

Writes itself, doesn't it? The actual headline by BBC News science reporter Alicia Curry [or her editor! Ed.] was "Blue Origin astronaut reveals depression after 'tsunami of harassment'", but there's nothing funny about that... right, ladies?

Walt's predictions for 2026

Ready for New Year 2026? You'll go to bed tonight, and when you wake up in the morning (DV) everything will be new, improved and wonderful! Well... not everything.

That politicians will still be lying to us in 2026 is a prediction Walt can make with absolutely certainty of being correct. That some of those politicians will be assisted by the (((controlled media))) is another. And that there will be a deluge of AI-generated fake news is yet another.

Should we go beyond that? Why not just rest on our laurels? At the end of 2025 Walt predicted that at least two of Demented Joe Biden, Justin "Blackface" Trudeau, and Francis the Pope of the New World Order would be out of office by the end of the year. We hit the trifecta on that one, 3 for 3, lifetime pct .987. 

Sadly, the successors to Trudeau and Francis have proved to be little better than their predecessors. Marx Carney and Pope Leo XIV are almost as liberal as their predecessors, and still leading their constituents down the path to One World and social, political and financial ruin. About POTUS, we can say only that his first year has been a disappointment.

A few things seem likely to happen in 2026 so we might as well list our fears, viz.:

* The AI bubble will not burst, but will start to deflate. (That's not a bad thing.)

* There will be some kind of deal to end (or suspend?) Russia's war against Ukraine. The Ukraine will get screwed. See "Selling out Ukraine to appease Putin would be a huge mistake", WWW 28/12/25. 

* Attendance at mainstream Catholic churches will continue to fall freely as the Church gets gayer and gayer. Catholics who keep the Faith will turn in even greater numbers to chapels run by Traditional Latin Mass groups such as the FFSP and SSPX.

* "Trump tariffs" will be overturned by SCOTUS. President Trump will promise new and improved tariffs which will make Americans 1000% richer than they are now, if they vote Republican.

* The mid-term shit-hammer will fall hard on the Republicans, as Ukrainian-Americans and disaffected conservatives will stay home in drove.

* Venezuelan President Maduros will be out of office by this time next year.

* The mayors of at least two American cities will, without pushing from Washington, call on their police forces (and possibly the National Guard!) to tear down the verminous encampments and clean up the streets of their shit-hole cities.

* The world will not be a better place on 31 December 2026 than it is today. We can only hope and pray it will be not much worse.

Walz Announces $8 Billion Grant To Somali Company 

To Investigate Fraud

ST. PAUL, MN — In response to growing allegations of fraud tied to Minnesota's Somali community, Governor Tim Walz announced he had awarded an $8 billion grant to a Somali company to find the perpetrators.

"I'm sparing no expense to find those responsible," Governor Walz announced. "That's why I'm consulting with a Somali private detective agency. They know when to run a mean pick-six. They also run a nifty daycare center."

To date, approximately $18 billion has been lost to fraud in Minnesota through fake social service programs run by Somalis, some of whom may be in the country illegally. Walz hopes to get to the bottom of the scandal with a lucrative grant to the newly formed Osman Farah Private Eye Detective Agency for Finding Welfare Fraud 

"Look at me. Look at me. I am the detective now," said Detective Osman Farah.

Democrats praised Walz for rising above politics to get to the bottom of the fraud case. "Well, I'm convinced," said Minnesota Congressional Representative Ilhan Omar. "Nothing to see here. As usual, America is the real villain."

Previously, Republicans questioned Walz's leadership throughout the Somali daycare fraud scandal, even going so far as to suggest he's involved. Now, however, they're certain he's just mentally handicapped and unable to run an elaborate money laundering scheme himself.

"We should probably have him arrested, but honestly, this is all so entertaining," House Speaker Mike Johnson said as he ate a bag of popcorn while watching the news. "Ha, they just found another billion. Hilarious."

At publishing time, Somali detectives announced they were close to cracking the case and just needed another $8 billion in funds to be sure.

Search for MH370 on again, still looking in the wrong place

Today, the second-last day of 2025, a private company called Ocean Infinity is renewing its search for the remains of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, which vanished from air-traffic radar 39 minutes after departing Kuala Lumpur for Beijing. 

The pilot's last radio call to Kuala Lumpur – "Good night, Malaysian Three Seven Zero" – was the last communication before the aircraft crossed into Vietnamese airspace and failed to check in with controllers there. Minutes later, the plane's transponder, which broadcasts its location, shut down. Military radar showed the jet turn back over the Andaman Sea, and satellite data suggested it continued flying for hours, possibly until it ran out of fuel, before crashing into a remote section of the southern Indian Ocean.

More than a decade of searching has so far turned up almost nothing, except a few small fragments washed ashore along the coast of Africa and on islands in the Indian Ocean. No bodies or large pieces of wreckage have ever been recovered. 

The lack of information and facts has spawned theories ranging from a hijacking to cabin depressurisation or power failure. There was no distress call, ransom demand, evidence of technical failure or severe weather. Malaysian investigators in 2018 cleared the passengers and crew, but did not rule out "unlawful interference". 

Authorities have said someone deliberately severed communications and diverted the plane, but can't say anything about who the "someone" may have been. Walt has followed this story from the beginning, and has his own theory about the "unlawful interference". To see all of our posts, enter "MH370" in the search window. We'll come back to one of those posts in a moment.

The search for the remains of MH370 has already become the most expensive in aviation history, but after more than a decade, very little information has surfaced. [Careful! Ed.] Previous investigations have been conducted in a blaze of publicity, but little has been said about the latest expedition.

A spokesthingy for Ocean Infinity said only, "With the support of the Malaysian government, we are resuming the search for the missing aircraft MH370. Due to the important and sensitive nature of this search, formal communications will come through the Malaysian government." They did, however, release this map, showing the new area to be searched.

The latest search team will have to deal with not only the lack of clarity about where the aircraft went down, but also the rugged ocean floor. According to Simon Maskell, professor of autonomous systems [Wut dat? Ed.] at Liverpool University and a former scientific adviser to Ocean Infinity "The ocean floor is a very complicated environment to navigate around. It’s not just flat. You’ve got huge mountains, ridges and chasms – and you’ve got to look everywhere." He added, "You can have the greatest technology in the world, but if you look in the wrong place, it's not going to help you."

Indeed! The new search area appears to be 1000s of miles away from places where debris has been found, such as the southeastern coast of Madagascar, where a debris hunter named Blaine Gibson found five (5) pieces back in 2016. Two of the fragments appeared to show burn marks, which, if confirmed as such, would be the first time such marks have been found. The presence of burn marks would suggest that a disastrous fire would be the proximate cause of the plane's fall into the Indian Ocean. 

Another small piece was found in the same area. Two more turned up on the northeastern beaches of Antsiraka and Riake. Pictures of all five fragments have the "honeycomb" material found in other MH370 debris.

Time for another look at Walt's diagram of the currents prevalent in the Indian Ocean, posted on 31/7/15 in "Current thinking on MH370".

We're putting this up for the third time to underscore Walt's theory that the Australian and other "experts" who have allegedly been searching for the remains of the ill-fated flight have been looking in the wrong place! You'll see Madagascar sandwiched in between the Aquinas and Moçambique currents, at the western edge of the Indian Ocean. The "authorities" have insisted that the plane went down in the previous search area off the western coast of Australia.

Why would they do that? Let me suggest (again) that it's deliberate misdirection, to keep us from asking questions about the involvement of the US millitary, which maintains a huge base on the British island of Diego Garcia, For more, see "MH370: 5 pieces now, all in 'the wrong place'", WWW 12/5/16.

If they really wanted to get at the truth, you'd think the Australians and/or Malaysians would hie themselves off to Réunion, Madagascar, Moçambique and South Africa, where bits and pieces of the missing aircraft have been located. But noooo. Mr Gibson -- a lawyer from Seattle -- was the only one who went there to investigate.

What information do the Malaysian authorities and/or Ocean Infinity have (we'd like to know) that leads them to have another look in the "new" area not that far to the west of their first search site, but quite far from where the only physical clues so far recovered were found? And now that the Republicans are in charge of the War Department, has anyone asked them to shed some light on the greatest aviation mystery since the disappearance of Amelia Earhart? Well???

Do you remember this scene? The photo was taken on 30 September 1938.

That's the Right Honourable Neville Chamberlain, Prime Minister of Great Britain at the time, holding aloft a scrap of paper signed by himself and Adolf Hitler, which he (Chamberlain)  said guaranteed "peace in our time."

Today, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, went to Mar-a-Lago to see President Trump, much as Mr Chamberlain went to see Herr Hitler. Not that the US of A was threatening Ukraine... not out loud, anyway. But it is clear to all that the Leader of the Free WorldTM intends to make "peace" (and so win the coveted Wally Prize for Peace) by giving Putin at least part of what he wants. What Mr Zelenskyy wanted to know is just how badly his country is going to be screwed.

Giving Putin anything in return for a promise of dubious value would represent a hyuge mistake... in fact, a defeat. So says Howard G. Buffett, philanthropist and CEO of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, who last month received .the Peterson Literary Fund's 2025 Journey for Truth Award. 

In this video, Mr Buffett is interviewed by Diane Francis, columnist for Canada's National Post and contributor to The Kyiv Post. The conversation focuses on Mr Buffett's humanitarian work in Ukraine and his contribution to rebuilding Ukraine. The discussion deals with the impact of Russia's war on food security, war crimes, demining efforts, and the intentional destruction of Ukrainian culture and identity. It underscores the importance of supporting Ukraine and why Ukraine's victory matters. 

Walt wonders if President Trump has seen this. If so, did he say, "Howard who?" Would the message have resonated louder in the President's alleged brain if it had been delivered by Mr Buffett's father? 

Howard Graham Buffett is the middle son of... wait for it... Warren Buffett. He was recently named non-executive chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. If anyone knows the right and smart way to counter Russia's war of aggression, I'd say it would be Mr Buffett... not POTUS, who appears not to have heard or understood what happened less than a year after Mr Chamberlain brought back his little scrap of paper.

"Merry Christmas" vs "Happy Holidays"

Canada's National Post reports that 67% of Canadians will be inclined to wish others "Merry Christmas" this year, not the politically correct "Happy Holidays". Why so? Here's a possible answer.

That number comes from a poll of 1002 adults in Canada conducted by Research Co. 67% is an increase of 5 points from the firm’s same polling in 2024. For 2025, almost as many are not sure or don't care (16%) as there are those who prefer the "less denominational" (read: woke) "Happy Holidays" (18%) -- a 16% drop from last year.

Walt hasn't seen any similar poll on the preference of Americans, but if the more liberal Canucks cling to their old-fashioned Christian tradition in this matter, I'd expect Americans to do the same, only (being Americans) even more so! Merry Christmas!

VIDEO: Meanwhile, in Niagara Falls (Canada) this happened...

In the summer of 2022, Canada's ultra-woke Gliberal government started solving the crisis of illegal immigration by dumping some 4000 bogus refugees "from the USA" -- the illegals who (with the help of the RCMP) crossed the border Roxham Road -- into Niagara Falls (the nicer one, on the west bank of the river) an other unwilling border cities (Brockville, Cornwall and Windsor). 

They were housed "temporarily" in hotels, with room service laid on, at a cost of over C$220 ($158 in real money). The officially welcome (but really UNwelcome newcomers) also receive -- present tense because they are still there! -- free medical care, transportation, education and social services, all paid for by long-suffering taxpayers.   

The cost to said taxpayers has been enormous. Hoteliers have had to turn away tourists because all their room were occupied, and/or tourists refused to stay in "refugee hotels" turned into dumps by the sand people. See "Ungrateful 'refugees' destroy Canadian hotels", WWW  3/8/18, includes video.

Yes, that was in 2018. The same thing started happening in Niagara Falls in 2022 after Toronto said it just couldn't take any more "temporary" residents. In this video of last October, a minion of Marx Carney's government claimed there are no more refugees in hotels, so the cost of hosting illegal migrants isn't an issue any more. 

Sorry, lady, but it IS an issue. They may not be in hotels, but they are still in Niagara Falls. According to Agent 3, who sent us the link to the video below, a white pedestrian picking his way through the trash on Lundy's Lane would find himself in the minority. 

The cost to the munipalities (the City of Niagara Falls and the Regional Municipality of Niagara) of providing education and social services for the illegal immigrants is enormous, probably not far off the billion dollars mention in the title. Schoolrooms are full of kids -- including "unaccompanied minor" males with moustaches and beards -- who can't speak English and are socially, if not mentally retarded.

Hospital ERs are full. So are the walk-in clinics. The illegal migrants have brought with them not just their gold rings but their third-world diseases. Charitable agencies that support vulnerable people are overwhelmed too. Check out Project Share (Agent 3 writes) and other food banks. Almost all the people doing the work of collecting and distributing food are white, whereas those getting their groceries (and complaining that they don't like the food) are mostly, errr, darker.

It's no wonder, then, that a group of Niagara Falls men have stood up on their hind legs to say that it's high time the "temporary" residents went back where they came from. The protesters in this next video are advocating for what sociologists call "remigration".

As you can imagine, these guys are being called "racists", "neo-Nazis", yada yada yada. Walt says, you can hardly blame them. If my city tax bill went up by 10% overnight, I'd be protesting too!

Canada’s post-October 7 antisemitism crisis mirrors Australia’s. It’s small wonder that the Bondi Beach Hanukkah pogrom is perceived by numerous Canadian observers as a bullet dodged.

If it had happened here, we would be sifting through the same forensic breadcrumbs that helped pave the road to Bondi: principles bent for Muslim votes, calculated tolerance for criminal activity directed against Jews and the demonization of Israel in high political and cultural places. 

The question now is: what can we do to prevent such a tragedy in Canada? We should start by believing what Islamists say. Hamas has stated that, "Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah." We should also acknowledge that the phrase "Globalize the Intifada" is incitement to violence against Jews. We should prosecute, imprison or, when feasible, deport those who preach it. 

Second, we must remove the cone of heresy over debates about multiculturalism and immigration. Following the massacre, former Australian prime minister Tony Abbott told Sky News that, "Some versions of Islam are not really compatible with life in a liberal, democratic, pluralist society." He said it and the sky didn’t fall. Fear of radically anti-semitic jihadists is rational. 

As former Alberta premier and federal immigration minister Jason Kenney said in a recent debate Andrew Coyne about immigration, "Social cohesion (is) hard to measure, hard to quantify and sometimes a dangerous thing to discuss. But we damn well should." He’s right. Mental comfort on this file is a luxury we can no longer afford.

What's wrong with that? In this video, Dr Marshall discusses the new bishop's celebration of an “All are Welcome LGBT Pride” Mass, at which a drag kween activist was permitted to speak. What are we to think of a church in which "sin doesn't matter any more"? 

How can we look to people like these to show us the path to salvation, when they, by their actions and blatant rejection of the teachings of Holy Mother Church and the Commandments of God, have condemned themselves to eternal separation from God, to hell!?

Stonewall, if you're a Catholic, you need to look into that.

VIDEO: Ken Burns' anti-American lies

If you read "'The American Revolution' - Ken Burns' new, woke version" (WWW 18/11/25), you'll know that I didn't think much of Ken Burns' latest opus. The production values were fine, but the overall message was skewed hard to the liberal narrative.

Most of the reviews in the mainstream media were predictably positive. There wasn't a lot of fact-checking, nor was the phrase "revisionist history" much used. That's because the huge success of The Civil War has made Ken Busns something of a national treasure, virtually untouchable. Hey, the Obamas love him, the Bidens love him, and... wait for it... his series are on PBS, the font of all that's Great and Good in America.

Walt is relieved, then, to find that not everyone drank the Kool-aid. [The followers of Jim Jones actually drank Flavor-aid. Ed.] Negative reviews from a number of conservative outlets, including National Review and Amac, argue that the series is "bad history" and "ahistorical woke nonsense".

But wait, there's more. Only today did Ed. stumble upon this video by Matt Walsh, an American political commentator for the Daily Wire and host of  The Matt Walsh Show.

In this episode, Mr Walsh takes a close look at The American Revolution, which he calls "a piece of sophisticated anti-American propaganda." "There is a neverending effort to make Americans embarrassed of their history," he says, "and to give credit for its achievements to people who don't deserve it. American history has been rewritten for this purpose." Listen up!

Dear Santa, here's what I want for Christmas...

Your Singhs today (Washington state edition) - Out on bail again!

Earlier today Walt posted a story about three Sikhs (and two non-Sikh accomplices) who are free to roam around the GTA once again following their release on bail by female DEI-hire judges. See "Your Singhs today: Guess which one is still behind bars", WWW 18/12/25. 

It wasn't our usual story about atrocious truck driving and/or drug smuggling. The perps were accused of kidnapping and attempted murder. But there are still plenty of dangerous truck drivers out there, graduates of the infamous Singh School of Truck Driving. 

One such is Kamalpreet Singh, an illegal immigrant from India, accused of killing a father of two in a horrific crash on December 11th. Mr Singh has now been released on bail by the woke authorities of Washington state.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a detainer for Mr Singh following his arrest after it was found he was in the country illegally. But that didn't matter to the Washington wokesters, who refused to honour the order. Poor Mr Singh was somehow able to raise $100,00 [not drug $$$, shurely. Ed.] to post bond, and was released from King County jail on Friday last.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a scathing press release Tuesday slamming the move, saying "Washington politicians chose to release this public safety threat back onto America’s roads." DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Caller that she was dismayed by the move, saying that "these demented and dangerous sanctuary policies have deadly consequences.... How many more Americans have to be killed before Democrat politicians start to put the public’s safety ahead of politics?"

But hey, Washington is a sanctuary state, where poor refugees, asylum-seekers and simple illegals are safe from federal immigration authorities. Officials said Singh entered the US of A illegally in 2023 at Lukeville AZ, but was, as Ms McLaughlin said, "'released into this country by the Biden administration."

A spokesthingy for the Washington State Patrol confirmed to the Daily Caller that Singh was driving with a commercial driver's licence issued by California. Just like Harjinder Singh, the asylum-seeker accused of killing three people in Florida in August when he made an illegal U-turn while also on the roads illegally. 

Harjinder Singh is no relation to Kamalpreet Singh. What they share is fellowship in the Sikh religion, as well as a lack of English skills. He was unable to read street signs, but was handed a driver's license by California anyway. 

It is illegal for undocumented immigrants to obtain a commercial driver's licence, but a federal government investigation found earlier this year that California had unlawfully issued 17,000 commercial driver's licences to migrants. 

Commenting on the latest outrage, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that President Trump and Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy "will aggressively enforce our laws to protect the safety of American truckers, drivers, and passengers by ensuring anyone behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle is here legally, properly qualified, and proficient in our national language - English!'"

Mr Duffy threatened to withhold federal funding for highways in Blue states if they refused to respect and enforce the law. "If we’re going to have drivers on American roadways, they need to be the best trained…because if operated incorrectly or inappropriately, these [vehicles] are lethal weapons on American roadways," the Secretary said in a press conference. 

He added, "We will pull every dollar possible from every single state that’s unwilling to work with this administration and these longstanding rules to make sure that when [an] American family gets in a car, they shouldn't be worried that they have an unqualified foreigner operating an 80,000-pound big rig that could endanger their lives."

"Land defence + dog sanctuary" - the ultimate in woke intersectionaity

You can't make this stuff up. A report in Canada's National Post reveals that, in a display of wokeness bizarre even by Canadian standars, the Vancouver Foundation gave C$300,000 ($216.000 in real money) to "decolonization activists seeking to block oil and gas pipelines with stray dogs. 

The "Decolonial Dog Sanctuary" -- consisting of a series of makeshift wooden structures and a converted bus in the forests outside Hazelton BC -- is the brain(?)child of  Teresa Brown, who lives on site and is described in the Vancouver Foundation grant documents as a "Wilp Matriarch and Hereditary Representative of the territory" [and not a Pretendian. Ed.]

The grant documents say the project is "a form of land-based re-occupation... deeply embedded in cultural, legal, and territorial frameworks maintained through relational, hereditary authority rather than external or colonial agreements."

Unmentioned is that the sanctuary was very explicitly established as an illegal forest blockade intended to hinder the construction of the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) pipeline. The sanctuary carries the motto "puppies not pipelines". In a November 2024 profile published on the Indiginews website, which made clear the sanctuary's anti-pipeline mission, Ms Brown declared, "They’re not getting in here. Over my dead body!"

In recent posts to the sanctuary’s official Facebook page, Ms Brown has admitted she had limited knowledge of dog care before starting the sanctuary, but believed that aggressive dogs could "evolve into versions of themselves that thirst again for love." In a post last week, she said the project has been helpful in allowing her to reduce her dependence on pain meds and other prescription medications. That there is about all ye need to know.

Your Singhs today: Guess which one is still behind bars

Like unto the cost of rubies is the airfare from Toronto to Bombay, but there are plenty who'll pay it in order to get out of the cold Canadian winter... and cold Canadian jails (or "gaols" as they say up north). To get to the warmer climes of Khalistan, some will first need a "Get out of jail free!" card from liberal Canuck judges. Yes, we're talking Sikhs facing charges for crimes more serious than atrocious truck driving. Like these guys.

Well, not all of them. Two of them -- including the only one still behind bars -- are not Sikhs. When we tell you their names, you'll be able to figure out who's who.

The five men from the Greater [sic] Toronto Area accused of attempted murder and kidnapping following the discovery of a bound and brutally beaten Mississauga man at an abandoned Orillia gas station last September.

Manraj Singh Mann, 31, of Brampton ON (surprised?) was bailed out by three loved ones who pledged a total of $250,000 under strict conditions, including house arrest with a GPS ankle monitor under around-the-clock supervision. He was granted bail yesterday by Madam Justice Laura Birdbrain, who explained that his three sureties will act as his jailers and serve as the "eyes of the justice system in the community." Snorts of derision were heard from the prosecution table.

Mr Mann's release plan is nearly identical to the conditions imposed by Madam Justice Susan Healey (another female DEI hire) on his co-accused, Surjit Singh Bains, during a separate bail review on Monday. The 63-year-old from Woodbridge ON (immediately to the east of Brampton) was bailed out by his sons and wife following a bail review two months after he was denied bail by a mail justice of the peace. 

Mr Mann ann had also been previously denied bail by a justice of the peace. Anyone see a pattern there? The third Sikh, Baltej Singh Sandhu, 30, of Brampton, was the first man granted bail on a quarter-million-dollar pledge with around-the-clock supervision by three sureties in October.

One of the two non-Sikhs, Dwayne Pennant, 41, also of Brampton, was bailed out by three loved ones [the same three loved ones? Ed.] who pledged $125,000 in November. He will also be under house arrest with a GPS ankle monitor. The only man still behind bars is Gergy Anthony Gorburn, aged 51, from Toronto. He has a lengthy criminal record, including more than a dozen arrests over 25 years. Apparently Mr Gorburn has no loved ones. 

All five miscreants are accused of attempted murder, kidnapping, forcible confinement, breaking and entering, and weapons charges. The three Sikhs and the kafir released from jail return to an Orillia ON courtroom in January. Mr Gorburn is down for yet another bail review next week from jail at Central North Correctional Centre.

Walt warns the four who are out on bail that the Mounties will be keeping an eye on YYZ for men wearing turbans who have suspicious bulges under their socks. Oh my goodness, you vill be caught and most assuredly brought back for another bail hearing!

Walt goes to the movies - "Zootopia 2"

In "Zootopia 2 Proves All Box Office Failure Excuses are Lies" Breitbart News' John Nolte reports that over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Disney Grooming Syndicate’s Zootopia 2 grossed $556 million worldwide, $156 million domestically. A pretty amazing counterpoint to what entgertainment industry "experts" call "the ongoing collapse of the box office".

The "experts" say that people are shunning Hollywood's shoddy slop not because of appeal or quality, but for reasons completely unrelated to the fact that the industry is run by political leftists determined to push the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity) agenda.

They're producing movies filled with political messaging, obnoxious girlbosses, gay stuff, and woketard record scratches, and all sorts of other loony liberal propaganda. As Walt found out yesterday, Disney has its own "Diversity and Inclusion" team, which gets a credit near end of the length scroll following Zootopia 2.

The libtards running the show seem totally unaware that the not-so-liberal general public -- people like you and me -- are fed up with the DEI crap... sick, sore and tired of it. So when a young lady of whom I am quite fond asked to be taken to see Zootopia 2, I asked myself; why should I go and see another lousy product from a tired and out-of-touch bunch of  wokesters.

But (I thought) the original Zootopia was pretty good, in spite of the DEI sub-text, and if "Flash" (the sloth who works at the DMV) is going to be in the sequel, he'll be good for a laugh. So I watched the trailer...

... and decided to give it a chance. I'm glad I did. Zootopia 2 is better (IMHO) than the original. Of course it's still all about equity and inclusion, celebrating our differences, working together for a woke new society yada yada yada, but the main story line is strong enough that you aren't bothered by the quiet propaganda. There's lots of action, a plot which is simple enough to follow (maybe not for pre-teens), and the animation and characterization are excellent! 👍👍👍👍 (out of five)

We return then to Mr Nolte's article. "If Zootopia 2 can make $556 million over a single weekend (he writes), why can't everything else? That’s not a sarcastic question, and the answer is an easy one: because not every movie has the same broad appeal as Zootopia 2. That’s not a criticism. It’s just a fact. 

"The answer to so many box office bombs, however, is decidedly not these relentless lies and crybaby excuses of: COVID, streaming, theatrical window, whine, whine, whine, whine… No, not every movie can deliver the same broad appeal of a Zootopia 2, but…and this is important…enough people all over the world obviously, obviously still want to go to the movies if the movie holds some appeal for them.

"The problem is that Hollywood removed sex appeal and sensuality (unless it's gay sex appeal and sensuality). The problem is that Hollywood chose divisive political messaging over universal appeal and themes. The problem is that Hollywood chose to alter and poison human nature with so much woke, no one can relate to the characters or their relationships. 

"Movies like Zootopia 2...prove one thing: Americans still love going to the movies, and what’s stopping them is not StreamingCOVIDTheatricalWindow. What’s stopping them is a a smug, spoiled, bigoted, and insulated industry that hates its own customers."

Noted in passing:

- Being a cheap SOB, I went on a Tuesday afternoon when admission at the Fort Mudge cinema is half-price. Even so, the auditorium was no more than 20% full. Maybe it''s because it was a school day.

- The aforementioned cinema doesn't have a ticket window any more. If you haven't booked online (a buck extra for the "administration fee"!) you can get your ticket at an ATM-like machine in the lobby, or from the pimple-faced kid who sells you the popcorn-like snacks.

- The lobby of yesteryear has been transformed into an arcade where the slack-jawed yokels can play more-or-less violent games like Exterminator and Transformers until their thirst for flashing lights and loud noises has been quenched. Not recommended for those prone to seizures.

- The cinema now offers a gadget -- a tiny screen mounted on a flex pipe that fits into your cup-holder -- which displays subtitles in English or ??? for those who can't keep up. The screen is low-light, green-on-black, quite unobtrusive, and a good idea. 

That's Walt's one-and-only movie review for this year. I just might go again next year, by which time I'm sure there'll be a Zootopia 3!

Are these warnings really necessary?

A lot of the snivel servants who make up the ever-expanding nanny state have nothing better to do than mandate warnings about health and safety issues, for the benefit of inDuhviduals (Scott Adams coined that word) who are totally lacking in common sense. Like these.

To be fair, some of these are in response to outrageous awards given by (mostly) American courts for pain, suffering, and emotional distress caused by such things as burning the tongue on a McDo's apple pie fresh out of the microwave. I blame greedy, ambulance-chasing, tort lawyers like the infamous Jackie Chiles. A pox on them and their equally greedy inDuhvidual clients.

VIDEO: Scott Adams deserves an award for courage

Early in 2023, Scott Adams, creator of the super-popular Dilbert comic strip, said the quiet part out loud. 

In a YouTube comment on a Rasmussen Reports poll in which black people were asked to agree or disagree with the phrase "It's OK to be white", Mr Adams, who is white, said that black people who disagreed with the statement were a "hate group." He added, "I would say, based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from black people…because there is no fixing this." 

The PC police, led by the Washington Post and the New York Times, accused Mr Adams of racism, and that his remarks "promoted segregation." Imagine that! In the opinion of many, including yr obdt servant, what he said wasn't racism, but realism. 

The knee-jerk reaction of the Los Angeles Times, the USA Today group, and almost all the papers in which Dilbert appeared was to cancel the strip, effectively cancelling Scott Adams' career. He predicted that most of his income would be gone within weeks. by next week. 

Mr Adams refused to be silenced, and started a vlog called "Coffee With Scott Adams", published on Rumble and, more recently, on YouTube. It was on his vlog that he announced, last May, that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. The cancer has spread to his bones. It is only treatable, not curable. 

Scott Adams is effectively under a death sentence, but he is keeping up the vlog, now known as "No Coffee With Scott Adams", even while undergoing -- and that's surely the right word -- radiation treatment. His livestream offers a candid hospital update, along with discussions on current events and personal reflections. Here's today's instalment.

No matter what one thinks of Mr Adams' political views, it's impossible to watch him struggle to keep keep talking, smiling (as best he can) through his tears, without feeling sympathetic. IMHO he deserves an award of some kind. The only award we have at WWW is the Wally, but that's not appropriate, so we offer instead our thoughts and prayers... seriously.

UPDATED: Bondi Beach terrorists pledged allegiance to ISIS

It's just past 1400 FMT. Here's the latest information we have on the terrorists -- so described by the Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia -- responsible for the atrocity at Bondi Beach, near Sydney NSW, today. (Scroll down for our initial report, with video.) 

New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon told the meeja a couple of hours ago that the investigation into the shooting has "progressed" overnight and confirms officers aren't looking for a further gunman. He said the two shooters involved were a father and son aged 50 and 24. The father died at the scene -- apparently shot by police -- while the son remains in hospital in critical condition.

In response to questions from journos, Insp. Lanyon said the "50-year-old male" (he said "father" only once) was a licenced firearms holder and had six firearms linked to him. The cops think those six firearms were used in the "offences" on Bondi Beach, he said, adding that he vows to investigate the matter thoroughly. 

Oh really? When asked whether the two shooters were known to the police and whether he will comment on reports that a black ISIS flag was found at the scene, the inspector said he wouldn't go into specifics or speculation. "We will look at the motives behind this attack and I think it is important as part of the investigation," he said, adding that there was no indication suggesting that either of the men involved in yesterday's shooting was planning the attack.

On really? Are we to believe that they just happened to be carrying six (count `em, 6) firearms -- as well as two "active improved devices"! -- as they went to see the Jews celebrate Hannukah on the world-famous beach? 

When asked for the names of the perps, which must have been known to the police in order to obtain search warrants and find out about the firearm licences, Inspector Lanyon declined to answer, saying that was part of the investigation.

But... woops!!!... someone said the quiet part out loud. Listen carefully.

For those who couldn't quite understand the bingo-caller's accent, here's the name and the sources. The Jerusalem Post reported that the 24-year-old, whose name is Naveed Akram is a Muslim man of Pakistani origin, who had studied at Central Queensland University in Sydney. He was also previously associated with Hamdard University in Islamabad and the Al Murad Institute. 

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), citing a law enforcement source, said Mr Akram was a resident of Sydney's south-western suburb of Bonnyrigg. Police raided his home on Sunday evening as part of the investigation. According to the Daily Mail, the Akram family has owned the Bonnyrigg property for about a year.

UPDATED 15/12/25 with report from Breitbart News: "Father-Son Duo Terror Suspects Reportedly Pledged Allegiance to ISIS Before Bondi Beach Attack - The suspected father and son terrorist duo who killed at least 15 during a Bondi Beach Hanukkah celebration on Sunday were previously investigated by Australian intelligence for ties to the so-called Islamic State, and ISIS flags were reportedly found in their car after the apparent antisemitic attack."

It's way to early on a Sunday morning for me to deal with this. The mojo wire is spitting oud disturbing news from the Land of Oz. New South Wales Police say 11 people have been killed in a shooting at Bondi Beach targeting the Jewish community. 29, including a child, have been taken to hospital. 

Over 1000 people had gathered at the famous beach for a celebration marking the start of Hanukkah. One of the shooters was fatally shot by police and another was arrested after having been tackled by a bystander. Yes, we have video!

It's likely they were the gunmen were... errr... not Jews. So what were they, then? Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called an act of antisemitism and terrorism. He did not use words beginning with "M" or "I". Ed. put a question mark in the headline because we know what you're thinking. Prove us wrong!

Walt resents suggestions that he thinks all Sikhs are actual or potential criminals and detriments to Canadian society. There are good people and bad people in every ethnic group, and of course there are good Sikhs trying to make better lives for themselves in Canada and the USA than they good have had back home in "Khalistan".

Sikhs can be not just the perpetrators but victims of brown crime. This coming Sunday, three Canadian Sikh organizations will hold a town hall meeting in Surrey BC to discuss "Indian transnational repression and extortion", which they say has reached "crisis level". In a poster promoting the event, the organizers say "Families, businesses, and community members are facing intimidation, threats, and violence that no Canadian should ever experience."

Who are the criminals terrorizing Sikhs, you might ask. The answer is, other Indians of a different religious persuasion... or none at all. Over a year ago, the RCMP warned that Indian government agents -- including diplomatic and consular officials -- were involved in "serious criminal activity in Canada", including extortion. But, in spite of the Liberal government's push to mend fences with India, the latter refuses to acknowledge its alleged role in violent crimes, never mind promising to stop.

Investigations into the extortions of  "South Asian" business owners in BC's Lower Mainland, Brampton ON and Edmonton AB, have led to several arrests and charges. Indian crime groups such as the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which Canada listed as a terrorist group in September, have been demanding exorbitant payoffs from business owners and others. After threatening victims by phone, gang leaders in India will then send local foot soldiers to conduct arsons and shootings to pressure them to pay up. 

The obvious way to put a stop to the criminality in the Indo-Canadian community [sic] would be to deport the criminals. But there's a small problem -- Canada's ridiculously liberal policies on asylum-seekers and "refugees".

Last September, the British Columbia government formed an extortion task force, led by the Mounties and immigration officers, to tackle "organized-crime activity involved in extortion-related threats." It is led by the RCMP and composed of police and immigration officers. As of last week, the Canadian Border Services Agency had opened 96 investigations into foreigners identified by the task force. Then this happened.

Here's the problem in graphic form.  11 of the ciminals were found to be in "non-compliance" -- not in Canada legally -- and were issued removal orders. Surprisingly, 5 of those were actually deported. 14 other individuals who attracted attention from the task force were referred to the Refugee Protection Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board, which stops the deportation process dead. 

Their cases are now on hold until the IRB decides what to do with them. A spokesthingy for the IRB told Canada's Global TV News he would not comment further on the matter. Nor would he respond when asked if all were citizens of India. 

The vice-chair of immigration at the Canadian Bar Association’s BC branch, whose name is Amandeep Hayer (no relation), said the suspects' alleged involvement in crime could still be raised during their refugee hearings, and the IRB could... maybe... possibly... reject their claims for asylum on the grounds they are inadmissible to Canada for criminality.

Meanwhile, according to Vancouver immigration lawyer Richard Kurland, the "suspects" have succeeded in delaying their deportations for years. Mr Kurland blamed a backlog of refugee cases, "because Ottawa refuses to resource the IRB to provide expeditious hearings to prevent four-year waits. They just bought four years in Canada, with subsidized health. If they want to go to school, that’s subsidized, and if they need public assistance, that's subsidized by the taxpayer."

He was selected by the Habs in the third round, 69th overall, in the 2023 NHL entry draft, and played his first regular season game last night in the Canadiens' 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Answer: Last night Jacob Fowler became the fourth Habs goalie to play and win his first NHL game in Pittsburgh. His predecessors were Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy, and Carey Price, all of whom went on to become superstars. 

*OK, unlike Dryden and Roy, Price never had his name inscribed on the Stanley Cup, and has not yet been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. But next year he's a sure-fire bet to be elected to the HHOF, on the first round of voting. For sure!

Not all of the many Sikhs appearing before His Majesty's courts in the Canadian province of Ontario are involved in drug smuggling or the dangerous driving of 18-wheelers. Some of them have other... errr... vocations. 

Police in Guelph ON say a man responsible for stealing more than C$300,000 ($215,000 in real money) worth of products from Liquor Control Board of Ontario stores across the province has been sentenced to five years in prison. 

A statement released yesterday says that in May of 2024, Guelph Police officers, along with LCBO officials, "identified a suspect believed to have committed more than 100 thefts from LCBO stores…including 10 in Guelph."

A spokesthingy for the cops told the Wellington Advertiser the list included a $600 theft from the Fergus LCBO in March 2023. Police say officers tracked the suspect to St. Catharines, where he was found sleeping in a stolen vehicle that was used in some of the crimes. "With assistance from members of the Niagara Regional Police Service the vehicle was blocked in," stated the press release. "The man was awakened but rammed several cruisers in an attempt to flee before he was finally arrested."

The man, now identified as Davinder Singh (not exactly as pictured), 28, of no fixed address. (The truck isn't "fixed", you see. Geddit?) He pled guilty in Guelph court to a long list of charges, including vehicle theft, dangerous driving, assault with a weapon and several counts of theft over $5000. He will spend the next five years (or less) of his life as His Majesty's guest (read: at taxpayers' expense). Whether he will be deported after his release is not clear.

Note from Ed.: For some reason, Canada's larger media outlets, such as the state-owned Canadian Broadcorping Castration, did not disclose the name of the perp. We are grateful to small local papers, like the Wellington Advertiser, for having the courage to confirm what everyone suspected.

VIDEO: "Making a Killing" - documentary on the residential schools hoax

If you watched Michael Matt's video on the Canadian Residential Schools Hoax, posted here earlier today, you may have noticed an image of the title screen for the documentary, "Making a Killing", produced by the OneBC Caucus and released on December 2nd. Walt is pleased to be able to bring this to you today. 

The subtitle of the full-length film is "Reconciliation, Genocide, and Plunder in Canada". It exposes the massive scandal behind the taking of wealth, land, and power from the Canadian public to benefit indigenous tribes. 

It debunks the worst lie in Canadian history: the lie that 215 bodies were found at the Kamloops Residential School and that Canadians committed a mass murder against indigenous children.

VIDEO: Canuck residential schools hoax debunked

In the two years since the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation's 2021 announcement about the location of 215 potential unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in the Canadian province of British Columbia, a number of priests, pundits, and politicians have downplayed and questioned the validity of the findings. 

Some have declared the news of potential unmarked graves at many former residential school sites across Canada to be a 'huge lie". Others insist that the lamestream media, the Canadian government, and First Nations have conspired to created a hoax by misrepresenting the news of potential unmarked burials sites as a "mass grave" to shock and guilt Canadians into caring about Indigenous Peoples and the woke shibboleth of "reconciliation". 

Predictably, the usual suspects in the human rights and reparations industry scrambled to disprove the media conspiracy argument by finding some graves. Meanwhile they encouraged the anti-religious left to "burn it all down", resulting in almost 100 churches, mostly Catholic, being burned by arsonists who were never caught... not that any serius attempt was made so to do.

Well, guess what, folks? The "residential schools denialists", such as Candace Owens, Tom Flanagan and our old friend Michael Matt, were right! The vilification of the residential schools and the Catholic Church was all an enormous lie, all part of the conspiracy of the anti-Christian, One-Worlders to destroy the Church. And the wokesters in the New Church of Francis fell for it... hook, line and sinker. Indeed, some of the hierarchs are among the conspirators!
