Let us not forget the other seasonal celebration

"Good morning everyone and welcome to everyone’s favorite holiday – Festivus!"
said U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)” yesterday, referring to the holiday made famous by a 1997 episode of Seinfeld, in which the senator is seen in the role of George Costanza's father Frank.
[Ummm, are you sure? Ed.]

The principal event of Festivus is the Airing of the Grievances. "I've got a lot of problems with you people!", the Senator tweeted, "and by 'you people' I mostly mean the petty tyrants who run your local, state and federal government. 2021 was a banner year for being a pretty tyrant, with them all literally tripping overe each other for the dumbest Covid lockdown or mandate idea."

Senator Paul's Festivus Report -- click here to read the whole thing -- details  egregious, wasteful government spending over the last year. His fecal roster for 2021 includes money spent on "a study of pigeons gambling on slot machines, giving kids junk food, and telling citizens of Vietnam not to burn their trash." Here are some examples, with references to the department or agency of the Brandon government responsible in brackets.

Walt sez: This makes me so mad I'd write a letter to my congersman, if I thought USPS would deliver it anytime soon... and if my congersman could only read.
