Big Sister (?) is watching you, and ratting you out to the thought police

Dear gentle reader, fasten your seatbelt please for you are about to see a frightening invasion of privacy and persoanal space, perpetrated in the name of Righteous Wokeism, posted on a social medium called "StoopAntisemitism" by someone [named "Karen" perhaps? Ed.] who was flying on an American Airlines flight from Miami to JFK on Sunday. Ready?

And guess what, campers. Not only did this nosey busybody stick her phone over her [Yes, we're making an assumption. Ed.] fellow passenger's shoulder and take a picture of his cellphone, she reported him to the cabin crew! Since you may not be able to see from the photo above what caused her such offence, here's a closeup.

The man appeared to be exchanging messages with a colleague about a business deal. What he said that put a burr under the snoop's saddle was "I'll take care of the kike once and for all." "Kike" is a derogatory term -- a very old-fashioned one -- for a Jewish person.

We do not know if the person was of the Jewish faith -- are there any Jews in Dade County? --  but we do know that she made enough of a fuss to cause the AA crew to report the "incident" to the FAA.

It was not immediately clear what the man meant by the phrase "take care of". Perhaps the person he referred to was elderly or infirm. Nor do we know whether the language amounted to anything beyond an offensive private message. There is also no suggestion that the passenger made a threat against anyone aboard the aircraft or that the alleged message was connected to the flight itself.

The episode has sparked a debate online not only over the language allegedly used, but over whether a fellow passenger should have been reading, photographing or publicizing another person's private messages in the first place.

Some commenters were appalled by the alleged anti-Semitic slur and argued that a message visible to strangers in the confines of an airplane cabin could hardly be considered completely private. Others said that no matter how offensive the words may have been, secretly capturing another person's private correspondence and exposing it publicly crossed a line.

One person wrote, "A private person’s private communication is not fair game for public exposure simply because its contents are offensive. There is a fundamental difference between confronting public speech and policing private conversations. You should strongly consider deleting this."

Another critic similarly argued that the message, while offensive, was still part of a private exchange that had never been intended for the surrounding passengers. "This is ridiculous. Obviously he doesn't love Jews, but how many of you here have written PRIVATE texts to others referring to some groups of people with derogatory terms?"

A third comment reads, "This is not communist Russia (yet) where we spy on what people say in private. Antisemitism is real, but it's not doing us any favors to go after people and their private conversations."

Yet another person expressed disbelief that a passenger's phone screen had apparently become the subject of scrutiny from someone sitting nearby. "So now you can’t even text in public without some nut job recording your conversation??? How do they know exactly what this man was referring to??? Insane!"

"Insane" indeed! But this is what the Land of the Free has become in the Age of Woke. Watch your language eh!

VIDEO: "Don't 'upgrade' to Windows 11!"

Ed. here. As reported yesterday, Walt bailede on us a couple of days ago. He said he was going to Canada to take the cure, although for what was never specified. I've figured out, though, that our crafty leader didn't want to be here on October 14th, the day that support for Windows 10 officially ended.

Pretty smart, Walt! Final (?) updates have been installing themselves on our PC for two days now, causing chaos in its BIOS and UEFI and everything else. I don't actually know what "BIOS" and "UEFI" mean. What I do know that in the time it took Win10 to boot this morning, I was able to give myself a complete pedicure and darn a pair of socks which my toenails had made holes in.

But I swear by Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light, that I will not be stampeded into buying a new computer running Windows 11, nor will I try to work my way through one of the many tutorials now appearing on YouTube about how to upgrade your computer to run Win11, even if Microsoft tells you it's incompatible.

In fact, I might just find some computer geek who can make my PC run Linux, and to heck with Bill Gates and his infernal software. I (and I speak on behalf of Walt, too) refuse to be a slave to Microsoft any longer!

I admit to having been influenced by this video from Rob Braxman, the Internet Privacy Guy. Mr Braxman warns that we are losing our Internet privacy and Internet security every day. Our data is collected with endless permanent data mining. Windows 10 users, he says, are now facing the End-of-Life of their OS since their particular computers have been classified as computer junk by Microsoft. So you may be teased to thinking that it is time to move to Windows 11. Don't!

What alternative is there? Mr Braxman argues that it's time to dump Windows for good. In this video, he reveals the Microsoft plan for your life and how it will own your computer though you're the one who paid for it. And, he warns, they will do everything in their power to prevent you from modifying it. This is certainly worth thinking about -- if not now, the next time it takes your computer 15 minutes to boot Win10. It's not going to get any better!

Footnote: We trust you've noted the backdrop behind Bill Gates in this photo. Yes, folks, it's all part of the plan for the New World Order.

VIDEO: Tranny Blaire White disses tranny Jonathan/Jessica Yaniv for human rights complaint re not being able to get his/her balls waxed

Ed. here. Walt tells me there is no way he can write a better introduction to this story than that posted by our old friend Rex Murphy in "The Yaniv outrage has left Canada, rightly, the laughing stock of the world", in the National Post, 27/7/19. Rex writes:
A friend of mine recently went to his local garage, claimed he was a re-conditioned ’79 Chevy Nova and asked them to do a timing check on the carburetor and rotate his tires. They said they wouldn’t because he didn’t have a carburetor, or tires, and they only worked on “cars.” He is off now to the local human rights tribunal (after a stop for spare parts at Canadian Tire).

The story Rex refers to has been widely reported in America, Australia and Britain, but not in Canada, where the big three (((controlled media))) -- the CBC, CTV, Global -- have agreed amongst themselves to bury it, for fear of offending the suddenly powerful "transgender community" or dealing a setback to the cause of "transgender rights". That would be because the actual story is so ridiculous, such an abuse of common sense, as to defy belief. As Blaire White -- herself post-op tranny -- points out, it really does look bad for the "community".

In a nutshell -- that word being perfect here -- it concerns the efforts of Jonathan/Jessica Yaniv, a self-identified pre-op (= still has testicles) transexual to get a Brazilian wax on his groin. He/she/xe has approached over a dozen businesses which offer the service -- all of them, curiously, operated by women -- and has for some reason(s) been turned down. The technicians have said that they are too busy, or haven't been trained to do that to people with ovular appendages, or are forbidden by the tenets of their religion.

Jonathan/Jessica is outraged that he/she/xe has been insulted and discriminated against, and has filed complaints with the British Columbia Human Rights Commission, which is already notorious for hearing frivolous complaints, as in their prosecution of Mark Steyn. Mr Murphy asks: "...is it simply enough...for someone to walk into its offices, self-declare 'I am a trans woman and I can't get my scrotum waxed,' and have them take on the case? Is that truly all it takes?"

What does this case tell us about the dominance of radical progressivism in western society, particularly on the Pacific coast (for BC is Canada's version of California, just not quite so degenerate...yet). The mind boggles. Anyway, here's Blaire White's take on the whole sordid mess.

Further viewing: Lindsay Shepherd, a young Canadian woman who has been raked over the coals, and banned from Twitter, for standing up for free speech and against progressive censorship, has had her Twitter account reinstated. Click here to watch her video on how she got banned and unbanned, and on human rights tribunals, the Yaniv case and its impact on the respondents. WARNING: Contains vulgar language related to female genitalia!

Footnote: Speaking of "transgender rights", a report just in from Pakistan says police have found the bodies of two transgender women who were tortured and beaten to death. Senior officer Mohammad Ali Zia says the bodies were recovered late Saturday from a locked house in eastern Punjab province. He says it's unclear what motivated the killings, which appear to have taken place three days ago. Transgender people are often subjected to abuse in the conservative, Muslim-majority shithole. They are also among the victims of so-called honour killings carried out by relatives to punish perceived sexual transgressions.

Which is healthier -- eating pizza or eating noodles?

You've probably figured out that not every item posted here on WWW is a Walt original. Sometimes Ed. just reposts something he or I have seen elsewhere on the Internet, with perhaps a little editing [Hey, I gotta justify my existence. Ed.] because it's bears repeating or is funny or Ed. is lazy... or all of the above. Here's one such item, which has been the subject of rants and raves on several sites today.

Tanuki, a Japanese restaurant chain popular in Russia, has apologized for a Facebook post which suggested that obese girls pig out on pizza while pinups nibble on udon (= noodles). Here's the meme.

"After going to Go-Go Pizza," says the text above the fattie, referring to a Russian pizza delivery chain. The slender brunette, on the other hand, is what young ladies apparently look like "after going to Tanuki." Who could argue with that?

Well, the usual gang of social justice wienies, that's who. They were quick to complain about fat-shaming, racism (???), and invasion of privacy, since it turns out the large lady is a real person, Whitney Thore, "a popular US television personality who suffers from a hormone disorder [of course. Ed.] and is a tireless campaigner against body shaming." The quote is from the story on rt.com.

Naturally the advertiser caved, and deleted the offensive (to some) meme. Political correctness rules... even in Russia!

CCTV is watching you!

Not SCTV... CCTV -- Closed Circuit Television. In his latest "clip book", The [Un]documented Mark Steyn (Regnery 2014), friend Mark writes: "It accompanies you as you make your way to work whether by car, bus, train, or taxi. And it's there waiting for you at the end of your shift, as you go to buy your groceries or head to the movies."

He goes on to quote from The Defector, a novel by American author Daniel Silva: "...CCTV, the ubiquitous network of 10,000 closed-circuit television cameras that gave London's Metropolitan Police the ability to monitor activity, criminal or otherwise, on virtually every street in the British capital.... The subjects of the United Kingdom, birthplace of Western democracy, now resided in an Orwellian world where their every movement was watched over by the eyes of the state."

Mr. Steyn says that's true, except for the "10,000" cameras. By some calculations, he wrote in 2009, the snoop-robots [Walt's phrase. Ed.] numbered some 5,000,000. That would include this one, ironically watching innocent people passing by the home of... wait for it... George Orwell!

Thanks to Agent 34. Walt knows you're watching!

Do you want these men to know what you're looking at on the Net?

You know these guys, right? They are the federal ministers in charge of protecting Canadians from indecency, immorality, and incorrectness in all its forms.

Rob Nicholson, on the right, is the Minister of Justice. Vic Toews (rhymes with "raves"), on his right -- and that's pretty far right, believe me! -- is the Minister of "Public Safety". Old Vic is the one who, earlier this week, said that anyone who doesn't stand with the Harpoon government in support of its internet snoop and spy legislation is "either...with us or with the child pornographers". Walt's not making this up. Neither is Toews. He really means it.

In yesterday's post, I got the name of the Conservative government's latest police state law wrong. As you can see from the picture, it's now being called the "Protecting Children from Internet Predators Act". So if you're not a paedophile -- like that dreaful Herbert on Family Guy -- you've got nothing to fear.

If you're not using electronic communications devices, like computers and smartphones, to lure kids into your web of iniquity, the police will have no reason to read your e-mails or track your movements through cellphone signals. Right? Mind you, they wouldn't need a warrant to do so, so if they feel like "just checking", there's nothing to stop them. So even if all you're into is a little light self-gratification, you can't be sure no-one knows.

If you're still not worried, you might want to have a look at "Online surveillance bill targets child porn", on CBC.ca, which is the website of the government-owned broacaster -- the same government that's pushing this bill (C-30) through Parliament. Once passed, this noble-sounding act will require telecommunications and Internet providers to hand over -- without getting a warrant or other court order -- your subscriber data, including name, address, mobile phone number and IP address.

But wait (as Vince Offer says)... there's more! The bill will also make the communications companies give police a “back door” for easy surveillance. [Ah yes... the old back passage. Ed.] Police can also get warrants to track any information sent online, so they'll know who sent it and from where. And they can get court orders forcing other parties to preserve electronic evidence. That means if you delete a file that someone sent you -- even by mistake -- you can be guilty of an offence.

And that's the one that really sucks. (Sorry, Herbert!) Here we are fretting about what Google and Yahoo! and Facebook do with the stuff we put online, without thinking about who's going to be looking at our profiles, our pictures, our searches and so on. These things can now be seen by any cop or other guardian of the law or "protector of public safety" who asks for it.

NDP Member of Parliament argues that the Act will give the police an unlimited "fishing licence", letting them trawl through any and all "private communications", that being the all-encompassing term used in the bill. Mr. Angus said cellphones would become "electronic prisoner’s bracelets".

Welcome to the Conservatives' Canada. Will you being staying long, or will you be looking for someplace where you can have a little privacy? Good luck with that!
