VIDEO: Warning! Is the Roman Catholic Church about to follow the United Church of Canada into irrelevance and perdition?

Two million members lost in 40 years! That's what happened to the United Church of Canada. In 1965, the United Church was Canada's largest Protestant denomination, with 1,064,000 members and 3700 churches. It was regarded as reflecting the national identity of the non-French part of Canada.

Today the United Church has just 375,000 members -- an 80% collapse in two generations. A large number of its church are either closed or empty, save for a few elderly folk who recognize that the church they attend no longer believes what they believe, but go anyway because that's what they do.

What happend? The United Church, founded barely a century ago as a merger of four Protestant denominations with a total combined membership of about 600,000 members, got caught up in the cultural revolution of the hippy-dippy `60s. It went willingly down the rabbit hole of progressivism, liberalism and, latterly, "wokeism".

The policies of the church are totally inclusive and liberal. There are no restrictions of gender, sexual orientation or marital status for a person considering entering the ministry. LGBTQ++ "worship leaders" are welcome. The heresy of relativism is embraced. Interfaith marriages are recognized. Communion (the symbol only -- not the real Body and Blood of Jesus) is offered to everyone, regardless of age, religion or anything else.

In trying hardest to be relevant, the United Church of Canada became the most irrelevant. And that reveals something profound about the failure of progressive theology -- the same theology now being adopted by the post-Vatican II Roman Catholic Church, contrary to its own teachings and commandments. 

For the Church founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ while He was with us on Earth, the handwriting is on the wall. Will Catholics follow their supposed leaders into the new "church of accompaniment", Francis' New Church of the New World Order, or will they listen to the voices of Catholic tradition and hold onto the Faith of our fathers, that we may yet be saved.

Is it too much to ask?

Trudeau's use of Emergencies Act against Freedom Convoy deemed ILLEGAL by Canada's Federal Court of Appeal

Cazart! It took nearly four years -- things never happen quickly in the Great No-longer-white North -- but the truth has come out! Canada's Liberal government has lost its appeal against a ruling by the Federal Court that found the invocation of the Emergencies Act by the despised Prime Minister Trudeau during the 2022 Freedom Convoy protests was unreasonable. Honk honk honk!

The decision of the Federal Court of Appeal -- second highest to the Supreme Court of Canada -- follows a ruling by the Federal Court in 2024 that the invocation of the act in response to the protests was unreasonable, unjustified, and violated Charter rights. 

In the 178-page decision, released on Friday, Chief Justice de Montigny said he was dismissing all the appeals against the lower court’s decision. "We are therefore of the view (like the Federal Court) that, on the basis of the record, Cabinet could not reasonably come to the conclusion that existing provincial capacity and authority could not effectively address the situation,” he wrote. 

"We are of the view that Cabinet did not have reasonable grounds to believe that a national emergency existed, taking into account the wording of the Act, its constitutional underpinning and the record that was before it at the time the decision was made,” he continued. 

Following the lower court's decision, then deputy prime minister Chrystia Freeland (see WWW passim) vowed her government would appeal the ruling. Her boss, Blackie McBlackface, invoked the Act on St. Valentine's Day of 2022, to end the protests by freedom-loving truckers that had gridlocked Ottawa’s downtown streets for almost a month. The act gave the feds the power to compel tow truck companies to co-operate with local police to clear blockades, mark parts of the downtown core as no-go zones and freeze the bank accounts of some protestors. 

Canadian civil liberties organizations, including the Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), argued the federal government went beyond its powers. Christine Van Geyn, litigation director at the CCF, said they were thrilled with Friday’s decision, which represents a "complete repudiation" of Shiny Pony's position on the invocation of the act. 

"This is an affirmation from the court that these are fundamental freedoms that Canadians have that were violated by the freezing of bank accounts, by the invocation of this act, by the by the banning of assemblies," said Ms Van Geyn. "We’re thrilled with the decision, and we think the court got this right."

The CCLA said they were pleased with the court’s decision and the reasons given by the Federal Court of Appeal. "You’ll recall that in order to invoke the the Emergencies Act, the Cabinet must be satisfied of two things; that there are threats to the security of Canada, and that the existing laws of Canada are insufficient to deal with those threats so that the emergency is a national emergency," said Ewa Krajewska. "Neither of these legal thresholds were met in this case."

Both organizations said they will be prepared to go to the Supreme Court of Canada, should the federal government decide to take the case to the highest court. A minion of the Public Safety Minister [sic] said the federal government now led by Marx Carnage (who was in China sucking up to the Commies when the decision was released) is reviewing the ruling and assessing next steps.

Walt has questions about those "next steps".

Will the people who supported the truckers financially and were "debanked" in consequence get their savings (confiscated by the Liberals) refunded?

Will the truckers whose vehicles -- the tools by which they earn a living -- get their were seized get them back? 

Will the alleged leaders of the protest, demonized as criminals by lickspittle Ontario criminal courts, have their convictions overturned or at least receive pardons?

And how about a sincere apology to all victims of the tyranny of "liberal democracy"? Walt reckons chances of that happening are slim and none. Lifetime pct .989.

Your Sikhs today - Brampton ON edition

This just in from beautiful Brampton ON, the capital of Free Khalistan. 

Five men have been charged following a fight involving multiple tow truck operators in Brampton that resulted in three people being hit by a metal pole. The incident happened last Hallowe'en in the area of Kennedy Road South and Orenda Road. When officers arrived, they found three people who had been attacked with a metal pole. Two of those were also allegedly assaulted with bear spray. 

In a news release today, Peel Regional Police announced the arrest of five men in connection with the incident. They’ve been identified as 27-year-old Rishav Chopra, 34-year-old Jashandeep Singh, 27-year-old Harmandeep Singh, 20-year-old Tajinder Chopra and 32-year-old Varun Aul. 

Note from Ed.: Any resemblance between the Singhs and Chopras charged today and the Singhs and Chopras shown in the photos is purely coincidental. We just searched Google for "Singh+tow truck".

Tajinder Chopra has been charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of assault causing bodily harm and two counts of administering a noxious thing with intent to cause bodily harm. Jashandeep Singh is facing charges of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and three counts of assault with a weapon. The other three have each been charged with assault. 

The Peelers said all the suspects were released immediately aafter their arrest on an "undertaking with conditions", including not leaving Canada on the next flight to India. That, right there, tells you all you need to know about the immigration and justice "systems" of the Great No-longer-white North.

By agreeing to lower tariffs on Chinese sparky cars from 100% to 15% -- another nail in the coffin of Ontario's auto industry -- he got the Chinese to agree to start importing Canola (formerly known as rape🞿) again.

Mr Carnage was overjoyed, as is apparent in this video clip, seen across the Great No-longer-white North yesterday evening.

Scott Adams, RIP

It was only five days ago that we posted a link to what Scott Adams himself said might be his last show. He wasn't off by much. He died this morning at the age of 68. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. ✠

Mr Adams, the legendary creator of the comic strip Dilbert and a widely respected and beloved political commentator, announced on his vlog Coffee With Scott Adams that any hope for remission was gone, and he expected to die sometime in January. He continued to do his popular online podcast right up to the end.

We are happy to be able to write "the souls of the faithful departed." In a final message read by his ex-wife, Scott wanted everyone to know about his conversion to Christianity. "If you are reading this," he wrote, "things did not go well for me. I have a few things to say before I go. My body failed before my brain. I am of sound mind as I write this January 1st, 2026. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and look forward to spending an eternity with Him." Amen.

Dr A.I. Google tells us that the Harman Group (HGC), headquartered in Caledon ON -- the town to the north of Brampton ON, headquarters of the infamous Singh School of Truck Driving -- is a large, family-run [read: Sikh clan] logistics and trucking company specializing in North American cold chain (refrigerated) and dry freight transport, including cross-border to the United States and Mexico.

The HGB website proudly proclaims: "We have always specialized in temperature control goods such as produce, chocolates, meats, pharmaceuticals, etc. We are proud to service our customers door to door throughout Canada, United States and Mexico." The emphasis is Walt's.

Dr Google adds that the Harman Group has had considerable media attention recently for being targeted involved in suspected extortion incidents. "Like what?", Walt hears you ask. Well, just this past week the mayor of Caledon told the meeja she was worried after "a local business" -- that's what she and the lickspittle meeja called HGC -- was shot at for the second time in two weeks. Thanks to "X", we have video!

The Ontario Provincial Police say the shooting could be related to an ongoing series of extortions in the area. They were called to the same location around 0100 on 26 December for a "targeted" shooting in front of the business. No injuries were reported. No one was hurt in this latest incident, which investigators are also calling "targeted". 

Their post on "X" says there have been >45 extortion investigations in the area since 2023. These crimes appear to follow a "pattern of extortion" where victims in Caledon and Dufferin County receive phone calls or text messages threatening violence against them, unless a large quantity of money is handed over. "The callers often demonstrate knowledge of the individual’s home or workplace and the offences appear targeted toward members of the South-Asian community."

Throughout 2024 and 2025, the OPP have investigated numerous weapons incidents where several properties in the Caledon and Dufferin County areas were damaged by gunfire. "(We) believe these shootings are linked to threatening communications and extortion attempts," he said. Walt sez: Ya think?

VIDEO: Cardinal Zen speaks truth to his brother prelates

Warning: This video is addressed to Catholics, particularly those who hold to the Faith of our fathers, as passed down to us through the apostles and Doctors of the Church by Our Lord Jesus Christ when He walked among us.

Cardinal Joseph Zen Ze-Kiun, the Bishop Emeritus of Hong Kong, is (IMHO) a martyr-in-waiting. He has been a prominent advocate for human rights and religious freedom in China, and a leading opponent of the Vatican’s 2018 secret agreement with the Communists on the appointment of bishops in China. He has been jailed for his beliefs, restricted from travelling, even restricted from speaking. 

The Communist rulers of China wish that Cardinal Zen, who is now 93 years of age, would die. But God allows him to live for the purpose (it would seem) of being a thorn in the side of the new Church of Synodality founded by Francis the talking pope and now being promoted by his successor, Pope Leo XIV, of whom better things were hoped.

Cardinal Zen received permission from his keepers to attend the first consistory -- meeting of all the cardinals -- called by Pope Prevost, held in the Vatican this week. Many traditional Catholics were hoping and praying that the prelates would be allowed to discuss openly the crisis in the Roman Catholic Church and advocate a "reform of the reforms" of Vatican II and the "ultra-reforms" (read: heresies) of Francis.

Thus there was great disappointment when the long-awaited consistory -- Francis was notorious for not meeting with the Cardinals -- turned out to be nothing more than what Anthony Stine calls "a meeting about meetingality". Cardinal Zen called an exercise in "iron-clad manipulation." 

In this video Mr Stine reads the statement given by Cardinal Zen following  his private meeting with Pope Leo, and explains why what did not happen at the consistory is far more important than what did happen.

VIDEO: Scott Adams last show???

Today, Scott Adams, creator Dilbert (BCSOAT), now dying of cancer, opened his podcast by saying that he's now having difficulty staying awake, and that his exhaustion and slurred voice have nothing to do with any medication. "Today’s going to be a tough one," he said, "because I fell asleep about five times just getting ready" for the show. 

For the next 30 minutes, Mr Adams went on with his regular routine, where he runs through the day's headlines and offers his thoughts. But in the show's final minutes, he said, "As of today, based on how I feel, I don’t know if there will be a show tomorrow or ever again. If I feel better, there will be." In closing, he sayts, "Bye, for now. I hope to see you later, but it might not be."

Mr Adams announced his prostate cancer diagnosis last May, revealing that the cancer had already "spread to my bones." He told us he wasn’t certain he would last the summer, but he did. However, he announced just a few days ago that his chances of surviving were now down to zero and that he expected to "transition" sometime in January.

Earlier this week, Mr Adams said he would convert to Christianity. "I’ve not been a believer," he explained. "You’re going to hear for the first time today that it is my plan to convert [to Christianity]. I still have time. My understanding is that you’re never too late."

Very true. Please join us in praying that Scott will indeed be baptized into the Mystical Body of Christ, receive the Last Rites of Holy Mother Church, die a Christian death and have a good defence at the awesome tribunal of Christ. Amen.

Reparations? President Trump does the math

Walt guesses you've never heard of the UN Permanent Forum on People of African Descent. [Indeed we haven't. Lifetime pct .990. Ed.] Well sir, the UNPFPAD is yet another anti-white, anti-American agency of the Disunited Nations, created to advocate for a "global reparations agenda" to "compensate Africa and the African diaspora for the enduring legacies of colonialism, enslavement, apartheid and genocide between the 16th and the 19th centuries."

Need we add that it has tied itself to the currently fashionable causes espoused by the anti-white left, claiming that "efforts to advance climate action" must be grounded in “racial equity", because "climate justice cannot succeed without addressing historical and structural forms of injustice." Isn't that obvious?

But wait (as Vince Offer used to say) there's more! The UNPFPAD's delusional advocacy has also branched into emerging technology fields like artificial intelligence, where the forum declared only "reparatory justice" could halt "technology-enabled racism." We'll pause here so you can stop ROFL.

Readers whose tax dollars would be spent on reparations if politicians like California Governor Gavin Newsom [Isn't he the that used to lead the Tonight Show band? Ed.] get their way will be glad to know that President Trump has called BS on this anti-white nonsense. 

Yesterday, POTUS signed an executive order to pull the US of A out of UNPFPAD. According to Trump administration officials, the racial grievances and "victim based social policies" promoted by the oranization are contrary to the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause.

Tommy Pigott, principal spokesthingy for the State Department, said "America will no longer lend its credibility to racist organizations. Radical activists who embrace DEI ideology and seek to compel the United States to adopt policies mandating race-based wealth redistribution, in organizations such as the UN Permanent Forum on People of African Descent will no longer be entertained." He added, "The United States is proudly withdrawing from racist organizations such as this forum."

As is known by anyone who's seen Godfather II, the revolutionary forces of Fidel Castro came down of the hills of eastern Cuba and seized power from the decadent régime of Fulgencio Batista on 1 January 1959. 

The "people's revolution" was organized, aided and abetted by the USSR, thus so Sr Castro became the first openly Communist dictator in Latin America.

The brutal dictatorship of Castro, his cronies and his successors has lasted until this day. How could it  not, since elections are not part of the Communist system. 

Until today, the Americans have made no serious attempt to overthrow the Cuban government, bar the abortive Bay of Pigs invasion, undermined by a weak Democrat president.

Cuba's "national day" is May 1st -- "International Workers Day" -- celebrated by Communists, socialists and "social democrats" around the world. A bigger-than-usual fuss was made about it in 2024, as it was the 65th May Day under Communist rule. 

Is it possible that the government expected Cubans to celebrate this? It doesn't matter, because, as in 1984, popular demonstrations in Cuba are as tightly scripted as the "mostly peaceful protests" that occur "spontaneously" in the US of A.

But the truth -- the real feelings of the real Cuban people -- will out, and in 2024 it did so in the form of memes like this.

And there was also this video, which we post as a shoutout to Agent 10, showing the Cuban people turning out in their 1000s to show their gratitude and celebrate the triumph of Communism.

For some reason [possibly lack of electricity, food and water! Ed.] May Day celebrations were more muted last year. Next! The island prison that is Cuba

We are less interested in the capture of the dictator Nicolás Maduro and the probable (but not certain!) overthrow of his socialist régime than in what that portends for the future of the even worse dictatorship of Cuba.

Agent 10 says it is well known that Cuba has been propping up the failing Maduro régime for years, and has sent military aid to Venezuela, including elite troops to serve as bodyguards to Sr Maduro.

Yesterday, Cuba's Communist Castro regime decreed a two-day period of mourning to honour 32 minions of the Cuban military allegedly killed during the American law enforcement action that resulted in the capture the socialist dictator.

The figurehead "president" of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel claimed that the Cuban soldiers were "helping" protect Sr Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. 

For decades, the Castro regime has had a significant influence in Venezuela under the auspices of Nicolás Maduro and his predecessor, Hugo Chávez. Numerous reports published over the years revealed how the Castro regime aided its fellow ideological ally to reshape Venezuela’s security and intelligence services to implement a brutally repressive apparatus.

Fidel Castro also stole American companies, not to mention the businesses that the Communists appropriated from fellow Cuban citizens who were never compensated, many of whom are now American citizens. There are many good reasons for taking back what the Cuban Communists stole, and terminating the Communist system of theft, terror, and enslavement forever on the Island Prison of Cuba.

President Donald Trump referred to Cuban casualties in remarks given to the New York Post over the weekend, but reportedly said he did not know the precise death toll among Cuban and Venezuelan forces. 

"Cuba was always very reliant on Venezuela. That’s where they got their money, and they protected Venezuela, but that didn’t work out too well in this case," POTUS the Post. "You know, many Cubans lost their lives last night. Did you know that? Many Cubans lost their lives. They were protecting Maduro. That was not a good move."

In a comment made while aboard Air Force One, President Trump added that he doesn't think the US will have to do anything to bring about the downfall of Cuba's Communist régime because "it's already falling apart." Walt's comment: Maybe so, but it would be better to speed up the process!

The curse of Freeland about to strike Ukraine

In "Walt's predictions for 2026" (WWW 31/12/25), I predicted that no matter how you slice it, the Ukraine is going to get sliced, diced and screwed in whatever "peace settlement" is negotiated this year. Sadly, I must now double down on that call, as it appears from this ayem's news that the Ukraine is going to screw itself!

Gee, Walt (I hear you ask), what news it that? The mojo wire has just spit out a report from Canadian Press that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed former Chrystia Freeland, once the darling of Canadian Liberals and protegée of Blackie McBlackface, as an "adviser on economic development".

The lovely and fragrant Ms Freeland, formerly Canuckistan's Finance Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister, was a legend in her own mind in Ottawa. It was said that swhe could count up to 3, and even recite from memory almost all the 26 letters of the alphabet in the correct order. 

After she was smart enough to get off the burning deck of the Trudeau government last fall, thus precipitating an election which the Gliberals surprisingly won, they got her a sinecure as the Warden of Rhodes House and CEO of the Rhodes Trust, the charity responsible for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship programme at the University of Oxford. Apparently Walt's (and others') negative comments came to the attention of the board of governors of the Rhodes Trust, because that appointment was cancelled, leaving Canada's arch-Karen (the one who said people having trouble paying their bills should cancel their subscriptions to Disney+) with nothing to do but go and meddle in the Ukraine's problems.

In a post on social media today, President Zelenskyy -- who apparently is unaware of Ms Freeland's lack of both knowledge and talent -- said, "Chrystia is highly skilled in these matters and has extensive experience in attracting investment and implementing economic transformations." 

In fact, as Walt pointed out in "Ding, dong, the Wicked Witch of the North is dead!", WWW 17/12/24 is nothing more than a clapped-out sometime journalist who happens to be partly Ukrainian and can supposedly speak the language, although she's never been heard to do so. She also learned, like Kamala Harris, that if you want to go up, you first have to go down.

She was named by Prime Minister Marx Carnage as Canada's "special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine". Although she left the Gliberal cabinet in September, she still represents the Toronto riding of University--Rosedale in the House of Commons. Conservative MPs said the Hon. Ms Freeland's acceptance of this new position puts her in a conflict of interest. In a social media post this morning, Ontario MP Roman Baber wrote, "[Freeland] is still a sitting member of Parliament. Not only did she lack the decency to resign her seat, this is a blatant conflict of interest. Liberals get away with everything!"

Still running, after all these years and all these elections. Apparently Minnesotans enjoy working for 50 years so the Somali-loving Timmy Walz and his cronies can take their retirement savings away from them. Perhaps this is an example of the famous Minnesotan sense of humor?

In "Walt's predictions for 2026" (WWW 31/12/25), I wrote, "Venezuelan President Maduros will be out of office by this time next year." And, as surely as the day followeth the night...

The military forces of the United States of America have captured Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro and his wife and launched a "large-scale" strike against the country. 

US Attorney General Pam Bondi says the leftist dictator has been indicted in New York on drugs and weapons charges and will "face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts," 

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is said to anticipate no further action against Venezuela. However, Venezuela has declared a national emergency, denouncing "military aggression".
