Canuck Pretendian shocked to learn truth about himself

Looks like the US of A isn't the only country where Pretendians (e.g. Senator Elizabeth Warren) rise to lofty heights, only to fall with a thud when they are outed as being, errr... white. Canada has them too, and has had them for at least a century, going back to the time of Grey Owl, shown at left in a portrait by Yousuf Karsh.

Grey Owl, was a popular Canadian writer, public speaker and conservationist. Born an Englishman, he immigrated to Canada and, in the latter years of his life, passed as half-Indian, falsely claiming he was the son of a Scottish man and an Apache woman. He achieved fame in the 1930s with books, articles and public appearances promoting wilderness conservation. Shortly after his death in 1938, his real identity -- Archibald Stansfeld Belaney -- was exposed. He was one of the first Pretendians.

Fast foward to this weekend, when celebrated Canadian author Thomas King told the meeja that he was shocked, shocked to find out that, despite believing so nearly all his life, he is not an Indian Indigenous First Nations person.

Like Mr Belaney, Mr King wrote books about Indians, including The Truth About Stories: A Native Narrative and The Inconvenient Indian: A Curious Account of Native People in North America. Now, in a piece for the Groan & Wail [Globe & Mail, shurely. Ed.] titled "A most inconvenient Indian", the California born author says he learned of rumours several years ago that questioned his heritage.

Mr King says he made a concerted effort this year to find their origin, which brought him to an American organization called Tribal Alliance Against Frauds, which investigated his past with help from a University of British Columbia scholar, and found no Cherokee heritage.

Mr King writes that he did not purposefully pretend to have Indigenous roots. His father left the family when he was only 3, he says, and his mother rarely spoke of the man but said he was part Cherokee. King says the revelation a couple of weeks ago was "so very devastating, though 'devastating' is too pedestrian a word. At 82, I feel as though I’ve been ripped in half, a one-legged man in a two-legged story. Not the Indian I had in mind. Not an Indian at all."

Well, I'll take his word for it, as long as he promises never again to read out the Stolen Land Acknowledgment which is now de rigueur at all public events and ceremonies in the Great No-longer-white North.

It's not just simple "confusion"

It's not that they're confused. It's just that they've adopted (and expect all of so adopt) "Newspeak".

For those readers unfamiliar with the term, George Orwell coined that word for his dystopian novel 1984.  "Newspeak" is the fictional language of Oceania, a totalitarian superstate. To meet the ideological requirements of Ingsoc (English Socialism) in Oceania, the Party created Newspeak, which is a controlled language of simplified grammar and limited vocabulary designed to limit a person's ability for critical thinking.

Newspeak thus limits the person's ability to articulate and communicate abstract concepts, such as personal identity, self-expression, and free will, which are "thoughtcrimes" (a Newspeak word), acts of personal independence that contradict the ideological orthodoxy of the Party.

Mr Orwell wrote 1984 in 1943. By the real1984, Newspeak was well established as the language of liberal "democracy". The use of the phrase "mostly peaceful demonstrations" by the liberal commentariat to characterize race (and other) riots is a classic example of how the lickspittle media substitute their "truth" for reality to make the masses believe that "black" is "white", and truly white.

Say it ain't so, Buffy! CBC outs beloved Pretendian

2017, the 150th anniversary of Confederation, was made over by Blackie McBlackface, the Gliberal Prime Minister of all Canuckistan, into the Year of the Indian. It was time for guilty whites to acknowledge that they (or their "colonial" ancestors) stole the Great White North from the peoples who used to be called Indians and Eskimos, forever hence to be known as First Nations;and Inuit, respectively.

Canada's shrinking populaation of whites tried to give the land back to the indigenous ones, but they said they'd rather have money (prefereably US dollars), thank you. So "land acknowledgment ceremonies" became the order of the day, a Confiteor to be repeated at the beginning of any public event and even on radio and TV programmes such as Hockey Night in Canada (the only show that anyone watches).

Six years later, the "truth and reconciliation" bullshit goes on and on. But today the CBC (Canada's state-owned broadcaster) is set to reveal the real truth -- not the same as the fake truth which it normally broadcasts -- about one First Nations person who has become an icon of wokeness not just in Canada but also the US of A.

Walt refers to Buffy Sainte-Marie, a musician known for decades of "Indigenous activism". CBC’s investigative show The Fifth Estate is scheduled to air tonight an episode titled "Making an Icon".

A description of the episode doesn't name Sainte-Marie but says an icon’s "claims to Indigenous ancestry are being called into question by family members" and that its investigation includes genealogical documentation and historical research.

In a statement yesterday, Ms Sainte-Marie said "I don’t know where I’m from or who my birth parents were, and I will never know. Which is why to be questioned in this way today is painful. To those who question my truth, I say with love, I know who I am."

The octogenarian also posted a video on social media addressing the upcoming episode, saying she has shared her story for 60 years. She called herself "a proud member of the Native community with deep roots in Canada.... But there are also many things I don’t know, which I’ve always been honest about. I don’t know where I’m from, who my birth parents are or how I ended up a misfit in a typical white Christian New England home."

Buffy Sainte-Marie became popular in the hippy-dippy `60s for her singing and songwriting, and used her fame to push the "Lo, the poor Indian" agenda at a time when it wasn't receiving much attention and indigenous women were still called "squaws". Her debut record, It’s My Way!, featured several notable songs, including "Universal Soldier", written about the individual responsibility for war.

Her appearance on Sesame Street began a symbiotic relationship with the PBS groomerfest which has lasted right up to last year.* Here's a stanza she wrote for her first appearance on the show in 1976.

I’m an Indian and I like sunshine
I’m an Indian and I like friends
And I am real and I can feel and I’d love to take your hand
Way heyo he-yo!
Way heyo he-yo!

*Source: "My time on 'Sesame Street' with Buffy Sainte-Marie", "American Masters" on PBS, 6/12/22.
Excerpt: Sainte-Marie is iconic. She embodies a combination of fierce activism in her quest to fight for Indigenous rights and dignity and a strong belief that everything and everyone can change and ripen. The lyrics in her songs teach us about the devastating history of colonization while encouraging us to stay hopeful. Her educator roots shine bright in everything she does.

What a shame she isn't really an Indian, or First Nations or whatever. Still, she's the first Pretendian to rise to such lofty heights, even earlier than Fauxcahontas, the Senator who (for the time being) represents the great (?) state of Massachusetts, which is where Ms Sainte-Marie was raised.

Waiting for Hellery...

It's been a quiet day on Lake Kashagawigamog. Walt has been The Choice, Wapo Bob Woodward's account of the run-up to the 1996 presidential election. It's a pretty even-handed account, published a couple of months ahead of polling day, so Mr Woodward's liberal bias wouldn't be mocked in the event that Bob Dole won... which he didn't.

The book is interesting and relevant this year, though, because there are some parallels to be drawn. The mid-term elections of 1994 had gone badly for the Democrats, who lost control of both the House and the Senate. Slick Willy Clinton had been revealed as a vision-less liar and a philanderer, incapable of setting a course for the nation and sticking to it.

He was "under water" in the polls, on everything from trust to competence. There were murmurings of dissent within his own party, even talk of his being primaried. The Republicans were on the attack, led by Newt Gingrich with his "Contract with America". Bob Dole was quietly -- too quietly, some said -- making the way of the Democratic transgressors hard in the Senate.

As Mr Woodward tells it, as 1995 faded to black, the smart money was on the Republicans to win in 1996. The big question was who would lead them to victory, and unlike in 2023 the answer wasn't obvious.

Senator Dole was seen as the most likely, but he was old, with all the charisma of a bed of kelp. [Woodward didn't write that. Bob did! Ed.] And he didn't seem to have the fire in his belly, compared with Angry Newt. Several others were testing the waters, and a surprising number, including California Governor Pete Wilson and General (Retd) Colin Powell decided that discretion was the better part of valour.

This year is different. Today's poll on the landing page of Breitbart News lists no fewer than 14 candidates (13 men and 1 real woman) who would like to make sure that when Senile Joe Biden next falls down, he won't get up again. President Trump leads the Republican race by a country mile, but there are those who say that while he may win the GOP nomination, he'll lose the election. Walt says "In your dreams!"

Meanwhile, on the other side of the aisle, not many have gone public with their desire to supplant President Brandon. Jumping into a campaign against an incumbent president takes a lot of jam (or the feminine/trans equivalent). So far there are just two. Though their campaigns may be considered long shots, his opponents argue that the country is heading in a bad direction, and it’s time for change.

Foremost (of the two) is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The notorious anti-vaxxer and environmental lawyer launched his campaign in April, saying he wanted to "end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power." Although the 2024 cycle is in its very early stages, Mr Kennedy appears to be doing better in the polls than previously anticipated. His stature grew considerably during the recent hearings on the weaponization of the FBI, when many viewers stopped noticing his odd voice and paid attention to the truths he had to tell.

First out of the gate was writer and speaker Marianne Williamson. The self-help author and motivational speaker ran unsuccessfully for the Dumbcratic nomination in 2020, coming up short and dropping out before the Iowa caucuses. She's running again on the premise that "this country is on the wrong track." Who could argue with that?!

I mention Ms Williamson because she epitomizes the kinf of ultra-liberal, feminazi Karen who finds a natural home in today's Democratic Party. In Chapter 9 of The Choice, we read that Hillary Clinton was that way inclined herself.

Having found the first 2 1/2 years of Bill's presidensity more than challenging, his spouse reached out to Jean Houston and Mary Catherine Bateson, two New Age nutjobs who were into things like spiritualism, along with their feminism. Ms Houston encouraged Hellery to have spiritual conversations with Eleanor Roosevelt and Mahatma Gandhi, but Mrs Bill declined to try communicating with Jesus.

Apparently a lot of this stuck somewhere in Mrs Clinton's alleged mind, for she continued to "channel" Eleanor Roosevelt through the 2008 primary loss to the Prez and the 2016 election loss to the Donald. Sources say it was hard to dissuade her from trying again in 2020, until it was pointed out to her that she was already 73 years old and should make way for someone younger... or older!

Mrs Bill has been strangely silent so far this year. But it seems to Walt that she's like a firehorse... a very old firehorse. When she hears the bell, she wants to run. There are those who would prefer Hellery to AOC or any member of the squad, or the Pretendian Elizabeth Warren.

Not many Democrats truly like Hillary Clinton. They can understand why Slick Willy looked outside his marriage for comfort and sex. But they are afraid of Hillary. She knows where the bodies are buried, and I mean that both figuratively and literally.

Stay tuned.

VIDEO: Elon Musk speaks his mind to Babylon Bee - FULL INTERVIEW

Yes, really! Not a joke. Elon Musk sat down with Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, Editor-in-Chief Kyle Mann, and Creative Director Ethan Nicolle for an in-depth interview on wokeness, Elizabeth Warren, taxing the rich, the Metaverse, which superhero Elon would be, and how the left is killing comedy.

This is the full interview with 45 additional minutes of content (total time 1:39:46). Turns out Elon Musk isn't one of the Wokesters. He can also be quite funny.

Don't chide me for giving you the YouTube link. The good people at Babylon Bee (you'll see some of them during the video) will get some money from YT when you watch.

Footnote from Poor Len Canayen: Bet you didn't know Elon Musk is a Canadian citizen, and went to college in Canada! And now he's a rich American. Dat's all ye know and all  ye need to know!

Obama not crazy about leading Dem presidential candidates

Walt is starting to see commercials on the idiot's lantern (read: TV) for Michael Bloomberg, who apparently has thrown his kippah into the ring for the Dumbocrat nomination for the presidensity. By my count, that makes four more or less serious contenders, not counting Pete Buttgag, who surely can't be taken seriously. The five are: two old millionaire Elders of Zion, a still older Gentile who has been (NB) vice-president, and, inevitably, Fauxcahontas. A possible late entry, not counted here, is Hellery Clinton, who declares that she's willing and able to "win again".

Which of these potential losers does former President Barack Hussein Obama support? In "Waiting for Obama", Politico reveals that the Prez isn't crazy about any of them, and once warned that he would intervene to stop Senator Bernie Sanders from winning the Democratic presidential nomination.

The title of the Politico piece -- "Waiting for Obama" -- is an infra-dig reference to a spoof that appeared in Garry Trudeau's [no relation to Mr Socks. Ed.] Doonesbury comic strip back in 1987. For a week, two characters in the strip discussed their hopes for Mario Cuomo to announce his intention to become the primary candidate for the Democratic party nomination for the 1988 election.

The burden of the Politico piece seems to be that President Obama thinks he would do better against Still-President Trump than any of the wannabes who are covertly seeking his endorsement. Some of them, he thinks, could destroy the Dumbocrats through their calls for radical change to America's social and political systems in the name of "social justice". His warnings are seen as a swipe at candidates like Senators Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Politico claims the Prez has said in private he'd speak out against Mr Sanders if it looked like he could actually win. "Back when Sanders seemed like more of a threat than he does now, Obama said privately that if Bernie were running away with the nomination, Obama would speak up to stop him," the report says. However, the report quotes an Obama spokesthingy as saying the former president has stated that he would get behind the Democratic nominee regardless of who it is.

One adviser said that while they personally had no knowledge of this, the threat of a Sanders nomination would likely be cause for action. "I can't really confirm that," the adviser said, regarding the possibility of Obama trying to stop Sanders. "He hasn't said that directly to me. The only reason I'm hesitating at all is because, yeah, if Bernie were running away with it, I think maybe we would all have to say something. But I don't think that's likely. It's not happening."

It's not just Mr Sanders that the Prez dislikes. He's against the other, lesser-known, farther-out candidates too. At an Obama Foundation Summit event in October, the founder took aim at political "wokeness" and cancel culture. Weeks later, at a gathering of the Democracy Alliance, Mr Obama warned 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls that most voters do not want to "tear down the system."

Mr Obama dismissed far-left positions as not being popular among average Americans, even if they make waves on social media. "Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision," he said, "we also have to be rooted in reality and the fact that voters, including the Democratic voters and certainly persuadable independents or even moderate Republicans, are not driven by the same views that are reflected on certain, you know, left-leaning Twitter feeds."

The same Politico report talks about Mr Obama's relationship with Creepy Joe Biden, whom he has not yet endorsed, despite Mr Biden's having served as vice president in the Obama administration, routinely touting on the stump their "special relationship". That's not how the Prez tells it. Politico says Mr Obama recalled to one candidate who came to him for advice how he himself had a bond with the voters that has since faded. He reportedly added, "And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden."

So who's left? Ryan Lizza, author of the Politico report, writes: "Over the next year, Obama, according to his closest advisers, will start to emerge with slightly bolder colors. The boldest might be riding into a battle unfolding on his own side, if he did lead a potential stop-Bernie campaign. But absent that unlikely development, one adviser suggested that Obama could also be pulled into the primary and forced to play a major role if Democrats failed to pick a nominee before the convention."

"A major role"? Such as what? The Prez can't be the Democratic candidate because Americans already made the same mistake twice. But there's nothing to bar his lovely and fragrant wife from accepting a draft, especially in a brokered convention. Michelle Obama is female (check), black (check), "woke" (check) and (most important) not any of those others. You read it here first!

Left vs far left - Bill Maher & Michael Moore discuss Democrats

A week ago, Walt posted "'No time for moderation, no time for Biden' sez Michael Moore" (WWW 7/9/19), in which I reported on the noted film-maker's warning to the Democrats that if they chose the soft liberal option and put Old Joe Biden at the top of their 2020 ticket, they would lose to President Trump.

Yesterday, Mr Moore appeared on HBO's Real Time With Bill Maher and repeated that warning to the eponymous host. This time, though, he took aim at Fauxcahontas, who he accused of not being far enough to the left, compared with such super-progressive Democrats as the wimmin of The Squad. He asserted that The Squad are viewed favorably by the majority of the American electorate. [Seriously?! Ed.]

Bill Maher, who lamented the leftward drift of the Dems' 2020 presidential wannabes on MSNBC's Morning Joe, was skeptical, to put it mildly. He said he did not think the country was "there" on most issues, including "Medicare for All", a policy supported by some of the Democratic presidential candidates.

Mr Moore said that if the presidential election were held right now, Still-President Donald Trump would emerge as the winner. That's pretty much what Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) said a few days ago, except that Mr Ryan predicted a Trump landslide. See "Tim Ryan (D-OH) predicts Dems could lose 48 states in 2020", WWW 29/8/19 (includes video). BUT, Mr Moore says, the Democrats can win in 2020 if only they choose a candidate who will appeal to the wimmin, coloured people ["people of colour", please. Ed.] and young people who, he claims, make up 70% of the electorate.

ED. HAS BEEN ADVISED THAT THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN BLOCKED DUE TO COPYRIGHT ISSUES. GUESS HBO DOESN'T LIKE YOU TO BE ABLE TO WATCH WITHOUT PAYING.

Walt hopes that the Dumbocrats listen to Messrs Moore and Ryan. Never mind a champagne liberal like Fauxcahontas. Put AOC or Ilhan Omar on top of the ticket, and let's see what happens. I'll make the popcorn.

"Me heap sorry!" - Fauxcahontas apologizes to Cherokees

Anxious to make everything right as she tries to kick her campaign for the presidensity into second gear [first, shurely! Ed.], Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), aka Fauxcahontas, has issued an apology to the Cherokee Nation for taking a DNA test which she said proved she has indigenous heritage... well, a tiny bit, anyway... 1/1024th... maybe....

Ms Warren took the test in October after President Trump had mocked her for years over her assertion she has Native American ancestry, calling her "fake Pocahontas" at political rallies. The test revealed that the pale face indeed hid a Native-American thread in her DNA, though the ancestor probably lived six to ten generations ago.

The Indians [Native Americans, shurely! Ed.] assert that DNA proves nothing. A spokesthingy for Cherokee Nation told the meeja today that "being a Cherokee Nation tribal citizen is rooted in centuries of culture and laws not through DNA tests."

However, the spokesthingy said, "Senator Warren has reached out to us and has apologized to the tribe.... We are encouraged by her action and hope that the slurs and mockery of tribal citizens and Indian history and heritage will come to an end."

You sorry, so everything OK. You betcha. Go hunt Republicans with bow and arrow. Ugh.

VIDEO: Alleged Native American videos self drinking beer

I complained on Saturday that my blood hadn't risen to a boil in the last few days. Well, the temperature has started to go up, but so far that's more the result of amusement than anger, for I just watched what must surely be the phoniest video of the new year. Here it is.

Yes, folks, it's Fauxcahontas, aka Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), proving that she's just a regular guy -- about as much "guy" as she is Indian -- slopping down a bottle of suds [Well, we only see her swallow a mouthful. Ed.] in her average American kitchen, where she is joined by her average American (non-Indian) husband. This proves they're not members of the east coast elite, you see -- just normal folks like us hinterland-dwellers.

But really, doesn't everyone know that ladies don't drink beer? And that Native Americans often have an extremely low tolerance to alcohol? [Alcohol? In American beer? Ed.] I'm going to run out and register the trade name "Fauxcahontas beer", because that brand is sure to be even more as popular than Billy Beer -- remember? -- when Liz becomes Prez.

Walt wishes Senator Warren good luck running for President!

The ladies who blab at The View and the lamestream media generally are gushing [Please don't go for a cheap joke... yet! Ed.] over reports that Senator Elizabeth Warren has formed an exploratory committee to see if it would be feasible to throw her headdress in the ring for the presidensity of the Excited States of America in 2020. She would presumably be vying for the Democratic nomination, along with at least a dozen other presidential wannabes including Senator Bernie Sanders [Isn't he an Independent, again? Ed.] and Senator Camela Harris. But Ms Warren is the first to announce, and that oughta count for something, right?

Senator Warren became a darling of the left in 2011 when she appeared in a viral video in which she defended federal taxes, which she spoke of as a form of "social responsibility", against the efforts of the newly-elected Republican majority in the House of Representatives to resist the efforts of the Prez [Who? Ed.] to raise taxes as an alternative to cutting out-of-control federal spending.

Before entering the Senate, Ms Warren had a job teaching bankruptcy law at Harvard. Her appointment had something to do with the university's affirmative action programme, but we'll come to that in a minute. In the aftermath of the financial meltdown of 2008, she was named by Guess Who to chair the Congressional Oversight Panel which oversaw the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the government's trillion-dollar bailout of Wall Street.

Sadly for Ms Warren, her reach exceeded her grasp. She jumped the shark [for the first time? Ed.] when she proposed the establishment of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), an agency that lacked congressional oversight, and which many conservatives contended was established in violation of the Constitution. Republicans in Congress blocked her appointment to lead the new agency, but she rose, phoenix-like, from the ashes of that defeat to become a Senator from Massatushetts.

During her campaign for the Senate, it was discovered that Ms Warren had somewhat overstated her claims of Cherokee heritage, made at a time when Harvard Law School was under severe pressure to hire and promote female and minority faculty members. Critics took to calling her "Pocahontas", after the famous 17th-century daughter of an Indian chief and a popular figure in American history and pop culture.

Donald Trump stuck the "Pocahontas" appellation on her during the 2016 presidential campaign and she has worn it, along with "Fauxcahontas" and "Focahontas" ever since. Obviously stung by suggestions that she was guilty of cultural appropriation [at least! Ed.], Senator Warren took a DNA test a few months ago, and thought it not unwise to publish the results showing that she might have 1/1024 Native American ancestry. (Apparently there aren't enough full-blood Indians in the database to give reliable result.)

Though Senator Warren and her supporters touted the results as proof of her family lore, critics noted that it may actually have proven the opposite, since she had no more Native American ancestry than a typical white American like, for instance, Joy Behar. Being a charitable person, Walt accepts Ms Warren's claim for what it's worth, and wishes her well in her quest to run against President Trump. Anyone wishing to place money on the outcome of a Trump-Warren race should contact me at the usual address. Your dollar gets 1000 of mine if Focahontas wins. Lifetime pct .989.

UPDATED: Where's Hillary and Bill? Waiting in the (left) wings!

Here we are, just 24 hours from polling day. The lamestream media are already citing "scientific polls" which show the Democrats poised to take back the House of Representatives from the evil Republicans, but, they concede, the Republicans may just manage to "hang on" to the Senate. Of course, they admit, the pollsters and pundits got it wrong in 2016, but, they assure us, that couldn't happen twice in a row... could it???

Meanwhile, I'm busting my wrist changing channels (yeah, I still watch TV) to see what's happening out there on the campaign trail. I see President Trump (YES!) holding rallies in the flyover states, with three (3) scheduled for today, including the grand finale tonight, co-starring Rush Limbaugh and my buddy Sean Hannity. Go get 'em, guys!

On the other side of the aisle, I see President 0 (that's "zero", as in zero accomplishments, zero concern for the future of America), dropping his G's and shouting himself hoarse, urging "folks" (whether citizens or not) to get out and vote for "hope"... and "change", of course. Whoa! Haven't we seen this movie before? How did that work out for you? And how are you now, two years into the presidency of someone who believes in not just talking but acting!

Not seen on TV in the last week: Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, and Mad Maxine Waters. And yes, I have watched CNN and PBS! Speaking of the Clinton News Network, I have also been mildly surprised by the absence from the Blue Team of Mr and Mrs William Jefferson Clinton. Wouldn't you expect the Democratic heavyweights (geddit?) -- one a former President and the other a former Secretary of State, Senator and First Lady -- to be out there stumping for the Smurfs (geddit?). My sources tell me that numerous Democratic candidates have issued stern warnings to Hellery and Slick Willy to stay the hell away from their territory!

That doesn't mean that the Clintons are inactive, though. They are getting ready for a speaking tour, modestly titled "An Evening with the Clintons", which is going to play such Democratic hotbeds as New York, San Francisco and, errr, Toronto next year. If you want to bathe in bullshit for a couple of hours, you'll have to shell out anywhere between $136 and $1712, the latter being the price of orchestra seats at New York's Beacon Theater on April 11th. $136 is the price for seats in the back, behind a pillar.

Ask yourself why Mrs Clinton and her husband (the one who she says has been "cleared" any kind of sex crimes) would mount such a tour. And why in 2019. It's not as if they need the money, although donations to the Clinton Foundation have kind of dried up of late. Think about this...

If the Republicans keep control of the House in tomorrow's mid-terms, the re-election of Donald Trump seems like a sure-as-little-green-apples thing. But if the Democrats win the House and the Republicans keep the Senate, that leaves a divided Congress, and a President who's going to have even more trouble implementing his MAGA programme. And that sets the stage for a real contest in 2020. Who better to champion all that is good and progressive than Hellery Clinton, who (the "resisters" say) really won the 2016 election but got euchred by that silly, old-fashioned Electoral College?

Keep the possibility of a Clinton comeback in mind when you go to vote tomorrow. Could America stand another four or eight years of that "First Family"? Oh noooooooo!!!

FURTHER READING (added 12/11/18): "Bribe her, distract her, trip her if you have to, but don’t let Hillary Clinton run for president again", by Vinay Menon, in the Toronto Red Star, 12/11/18. Wins a Wally award for the longest headline of 2018, but worth reading to see a liberal giving a truthful warning to the Demns.

VIDEO: Trump will pay $1 million if "Pocahantas" proves she's an Indian

This morning we've got a really great video clip from the campaign trail. Speaking at a campaign rally in Montana yesterday, President Trump unveiled the "secret" debate tactic which he'll use against Democratic presidential challenger Senator Elizabeth Warren in the unlikely event he goes mano-a-mano with her in the 2020 presidential electioni. Ms Warren has repeatedly claimed to be of Native American [formerly "Indian". Ed.] heritage, and parlayed her self-proclaimed minority heritage into a tenured position as a professor at Harvard Law School. But there is no credible evidence, documentary or genetic, that supports Senator Warren's claim, which is why POTUS delights in calling her "Pocahontas". Here's the clip.

Breitbart News broke the story of Ms Warren's dubious claim in 2012. The Native American wannabe dreamed up her ancestry for inclusion in the Pow Wow Chow Cookbook -- not kidding about that title -- published in 1984. All the documentary evidence produced since then shows that her Native American heritage is exactly zero percent (0%).

However, since no-one called her on it, Ms Warren began listing herself as a minority in the 1986-1987 Association of American Law Schools Directory of Faculty, a claim she continued to make in that publication until the mid-90s. Thus she was able to rise from her gig at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, to a full-time, tenured position as a professor at Harvard Law School in 1995. And come election time, who could help but vote for a HLS professor? Shows you the power of a well-written résumé!

Walt hopes Senator Warren gets the Democratic nomination in 2020. I pledge, God helping me, to stay alive and awake for the debate, just to see President Trump do this. I've already made the popcorn, which I'll pop into the freezer [Geddit? Ed.] until then.
